Ayako Hasekawa     The gentle, cool breeze that wafts through Spring year around may be a nice comfort for those that are trying to escape the slowly creeping heat that comes as the seasons outside turn towards summer. The sun has long since set, and the new moon makes the night far darker than it usually is. Although it is a nice night for stargazing.

Which is what one certain water spirit happens to be doing. Surrounded by floating blue flames and dressed in flowing blues, with her amber eyes staring upwards. Of course, in her over-sleeved hands are a deck of tarot cards that she's absentmindedly shuffling. Her usual fortune telling setup is around her. A midnight blue cloth mat lies on the ground with a black lacquered table and chair set on top of it. A slightly lighter blue tablecloth lays on the table and matching blue cushions are on the chairs. Although Ayako's chair has a lot more pillows on it as well. Everything seems to be rose embroidered in a hue a good notch lighter than what it's on.

"Hmm hmm hmm~. Such a nice night. I wonder if anyone will come tonight?"
Fassad      Fassad has heard the rumors of fortune telling in this region. But, he had not heard that it was in fact Ayako who set up the fortune telling. It's just a simple matter of chance he did not hear that bit. But, fortune telling is something that fascinates him. He, and his own future.... What does it hold? Will he ever grow to become the hero he wants to be?

And so, he rode his horse to Spring. As he aproaches the site of the fortune telling, he gets off. He walks towards the fortune teller. He looks at Ayako, surprised.

"...Lady Hasekawa? You are the fortune teller I heard rumors of? ...Or have I come to the wrong place?"

He doesn't sit, yet. He wants to confirm, first.
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako blinks her amber eyes slowly and then lowers them from stargazing. "Ah! I forgot to watch for guests!" She giggles brightly and then straightens up in her chair. "Hello Fassad!" A cheerful smile follows. "Yes! I am the fortune teller that sometimes appears in Spring, illuminated by blue flames!" The deck of tarot cards is set down gently on top of the table. Her sleeves sweep outwards and then point at herself. "Although... you know. I'm a water spirit. I don't really have any fortune telling magic. I just do this for fun." She winks slowly. "But... if you don't mind that... want a fortune told?"

Ayako leans back comfortably in her chair... although that amber gaze stays on Fassad.
Fassad      Fassad simply smiles. At first, his regal demeanor vanished due to his surprise. But now, it returns. He moves to the chair, sitting properly and straight. With a motion of his hand, he moves some strands of blonde hair off of his face.

"Ah, it would be most delightful to have your fortune told. And although you say it is simply for fun, well... I am certain that the fortune telling might have some truth to it So, I quite look forward to this."

He smiles, "So yes, if you may, please tell my fortune. Is there any fee for this?"
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako leans forwards in her chair and nods her head slowly. "I always find what the cards say to be interesting, so end up looking forward to it too!" Her head inclines to the side gently. "A fee?" A sleeve very, very awkwardly scratches the side of her head. "I... well, I don't charge for this since... well... you know. No magic to guarantee this sort of thing."

She then abruptly remembers to try to maintain her mystical-ness. Ish. Ayako smiles softly as she lowers her sleeves back into her lap. "All I ask is for a bit of your time and... for you to cut the deck."
Fassad      Fassad nods a bit. It actually makes him feel a bit awkward to not pay someone for their services. He's so used to most everything costing money, that he forgets sometime that you can occasionally recieve something for free. "Alright, then. I look forward, too, to what sort of fortune shall be told. And a bit of time here is truly no trouble."

He'll reach his hand forward when prompted, in order to cut the deck. A smile on his face, "...Cards... I've never heard of fortune telling through cards. Within my world, crystal balls are usually considere the tools for such. This will be quite an experience, I am sure!"
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako smiles softly and then takes the cut deck. She takes a deep breath as she closes her eyes for a moment. "Alright." At the very least, she takes this seriously. Five cards are swiftly dealt in the shape of a cross in front of Fassad. "These cards will be your fortune then!"

Ayako stares at the card closest to Fassad in the cross. "This card represents your past." Her deep blue sleeve that obscures her hand reaches forwards and flips over the card she was looking at. The World, upside-down. "Hmm... incompleteness, feeling stuck, and generally unhappy or unsatisified."
Fassad      Fassad just stares at the card. He doesn't get the meaning just from the picture, or even understand the idea of the card being reversed. But, the explaination makes sense. What shocks Fassad even /more/ is how accurate it is to his life. He smiles a bit, though even for him, the smile is obviously a bit fake. But, he remembers... That is his past. Not his present. Perhaps he is not incomplete anymore? ...He'll have to see what the rest of the fortune tells.

He leans forward, eagerly, "...Well. That makes sense. The past, I was a different person in ways. I've grown since I was a child.... What more can the cards show? Will they show the present and future as well?"
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako smiles gently. "It always seems like you're a different person when you think about the past. 'Was I really like that?', 'What was I thinking when I did that?'" She shakes her head slowly. "That's just what self-reflection is. But you're still you." She giggles brightly.

Her head nods once. "It will. This card represents your present." Ayako reaches over for the card on the left side of the cross and flips it over. The High Priestess, upright. "Hmm... So you're following your intuition, moving forward with what you feel is right for yourself, and hoping to do some good along the way."
Fassad      The High Priestess. This card also surprises Fassad. It, too, is incredibly accurate. He is doing exactly what Ayako is describing. His eyes show his awe. It's a break of his royal demeanor that most real royals wouldn't have. But, he smiles, looking at Ayako.

"That, too, is incredibly accurate. Are you sure that you do not truly hold the powers to fortune tell? It seems that you do. ...Or perhaps you are simply being modest?"

He leans forward a bit more, getting more excited. His future /has/ to be awesome.
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako giggles softly and shakes her head quickly. "If anything's happening, it's not any magic of mine." She nods her head slowly, once. "But I do find it interesting how accurate these cards tend to be."

Ayako quietly notes how excited Fassad is and then reaches for the next card. "This card represents your immediate future." Her sleeve reaches over for the card on the right side of the cross and flips it over. Temperance, upright. "Hmm... balance. Moderation and... hmm... bringing together two things that seem to be conflicting with each other."

Her amber eyes blink quickly. "Hmm... that... that doesn't really make much sense to me..."
Fassad      Whether the cards are working with some magic for their first two pulls, Fassad will assume that they are, in fact, truly magic. He smiles, looking at the Balance... Moderation. Bringing things together. This is, in fact, harder for him to guess at. He thinks into his own life.

"...Well. I am at a loss myself. There are a large number of conflicting things, but I... do not see many of them being brought together."

He ponders for a moment. The first conflict that comes to his mind is that between Hyrule, and the Twilight Realm. That... that /couldn't/ be it, though. Perhaps it is something more personal? He will have to think on this more.
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako glances at the face-up cards and thinks... "Hmm..." She opens her mouth to say something, but then closes it slowly, shaking her head. "It's always something you never expect. Or don't want to consider. But anyway." Her amber gaze moves towards the card closest to her on the cross. "Maybe the future card might tell me some more."

Her sleeve reaches over and flips it face up. The Tower, upside-down.

Ayako visibly winces at seeing that card. But she sighs softly in relief when she notes it's upside-down to Fassad. "Hmm... well. It seems you're in for some chaotic and distressing times. But!" Ayako smiles softly towards Fassad as she glances at the rest of the face up cards. "You will be fine. And a better person for it at the end of it."
Fassad      Fassad looks at the Tower. The symbolism on the card is lost to him. The wince on Ayako's face, though? That actually worries him. When your fortune teller /winces/ at something on the card, it's... It's not a good sign. He listens very closesly as she describes what it means, though. Chaotic and distressing times. He looks at the card, before turning his head back up to face Ayako again.

     And, a smile.

"I am certain I will rise to whatever challenge this means. I am glad, at least, to have forewarning of the things to come. It will be a comfort to know that I can prepare for this."

A pause. "So, is that all there is to the fortune telling, then? Or is my full fortune told now?"
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako nods her head once. "I'm sure you will!" She glances at the one face down card left in the center of the cross. "Well... there still is one card." She gestures with her sleeve at it. "That card in the center is a card of guidance. It can help. It can hurt. Sometimes it will lead you astray. In the end... it's up to you if you want to know what it has to say."
Fassad      Fassad nods, looking at the last card. A card that is up to chance, perhaps more so than the others? He ponders, looking at it. He rests his elbows on the table, placing his hands in front of his mouth for a moment.

"...Yes. I am interested in what the last card has to say. I am incredibly curious what guidance it will offer."

     He watches, excited. Nervous.
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako nods her head once and, with a hint of nervousness, flips over the center card. The Wheel of Fortune, upright. Her eyes blink slowly and then she pauses to think. "Fate, Destiny, and random chance? I... how does that apply? Hmm..." She glances at the face up cards, closes her eyes to think to herself some more.

"I think... you should continue to do what you feel is right. Keep doing good, and keep an eye out for opportunities." Her gaze returns to Fassad's past card. "Although... what you left behind in the past might try to reassert itself."
Fassad      Fassad is a bit lost as well. He understands the idea of fortune and luck. But, luck as a thing to guide him is... How does that work? Should he simply take more chances? But, he'll go with Ayako's interpretation and guess. He nods, looking at her, "Well. I shall keep an eye out for opportunities, then."

But, the comment on the past coming to reassert itself... he glances at the upside-down World. Fassad raises an eyebrow at Ayako. He's unsure what she means by this. He... /does/ have an idea of what the incompleteness and unsatisfied could mean. It is, most likely, the fact that he was unsatisfied with his station in life. His desire to be a Prince, despite who he was. His desire to be a Hero, yet not being one.

...Does Ayako suspect somethign about his own past?

He doesn't want to ask directly. Instead, he just smiles, and asks for clarification, "...Well. What do you mean, what I left in the past might try to reassert itself?"
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako slowly picks up the face up cards and shuffles them back into the deck. She stops for a moment to look back at Fassad. Her head inclines to the side gently. "Well. Fate and Destiny tend to try to find ways to complete themselves." She resumes shuffling the face up cards back into her tarot deck. "One way or another."

She shrugs lightly. "You can keep fighting it, but... odds are it's going to keep trying to reassert itself." Ayako nods her head once. "Although, of course, In the end, it's your choice." She smiles softly. "And the future is always never fixed!"
Fassad      Well, Fassad is at least reassured by the slight confusion from Ayako. Or at least, he is assumes the headtilt is confusion. No guess at his past, at least yet.

"Well. I have moved beyond my past. I assume it will not affect me more. I've grown quite a bit as a person. But, I will still heed your warning."

He smiles at Ayako, and speaks, "Again, I thank you for your fortune telling. This was, truly, a wonderful experience! I am quite glad to have some idea at my future. Even if it... is a bit foreboding."
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako smiles softly at Fassad and bows her head. "You're very welcome, Fassad!" She stops shuffling the deck of cards and scratches her head awkwardly with her sleeve. "I'm sorry that the fortune wasn't all good. But good luck to you all the same!" She smiles brightly and flaps her sleeve in a somewhat awkward yet cheerful wave.

Her amber gaze goes back down to her tarot cards. "Hmm... I wonder who will come next...?"
Mihk Lihzeh     Wandering oft leads one to the most unexpected of places. Mihk suffers from wanderlust more often than not, and so, ends up in the lands of Spring, traipsing along one road or other with nothing but her robes, her satchel and her tome to keep her company.

The flicker of blue light off in the distance draws the keen nightvision of the Miqo'te, and her course changes to approach. Boots step lightly, and the dark skinned felinoid woman steps into the light around Ayako's table, lifting a hand in greeting. "Hail, please, pardon the intrusion but your... lights, intrigued me enough to approach. I am Mihk Lihzeh, a traveller."
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako smiles softly as another person approaches her table. "Good evening, Mihk, and nice to meet you." Her oversleeved hands place the very shuffled deck of tarot cards onto the table. She floats up slightly off of her chair to curtsey in mid-air towards Mihk. "I'm Ayako Hasekawa, a water spirit."

She floats back down onto her chair and smiles softly. "I happen to do fortune telling as a hobby. Sadly, I don't have any magic to actually do it, but... if you're still interested..." Ayako gestures towards the deck on the table. "Please, have a seat and cut the deck."
Mihk Lihzeh     Mihk watches the floating, then ponders for a moment, her ears flicking idly to the miriad of small sounds, and her tail tip swishing back and forth. She then seats herself, and takes the deck, cutting it as instructed.

"Magic or no, some things have their own inherant power beyond the laws we know of and abide by." she offers, turning her mismatched eyes up to look at the water spirit. "You remind me, vaguely by association, of the Elements of my homeworld."
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako smiles softly. "That's true. There still are many unexplained things out there in the Multiverse." Her head inclines to the side gently. "Oh? Well, as a water spirit, I'm glad I resemble something familiar." She gently picks up the cut deck and takes a deep breath.

"Well! Let's begin, shall we?" Ayako deals out five cards in the shape of a cross in front of Mihk. "These five cards will be your fortune!" She reaches out with her sleeve to flip over the card closest to Mihk. "This card... represents your past." Justice, upright. "Hmm... you saw a wrong that you feel needed to be righted in some way?"
Mihk Lihzeh     Mihk quirks a brow, then nods. "Indeed, though I will not go into the details, no offense intended to yourself." she replies, leaning on the table a bit, looking down at the cards with an intensity that says she may be trying to divine the other cards before they're turned.
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako nods her head slowly. "No need to go into the details." She smiles softly and then glances to the next card. "This next card represents your present." Her sleeve slowly flips over the card on the left side of the cross. The Tower, upright.

Ayako winces visibly. "It's a chaotic and rather dismaying time, isn't it?"
Mihk Lihzeh     Mihk nods, "It is, indeed... siblings fighting against one another." she sighs softly. "Former enemies turned allies, former friends turned enemies." A shake of her head, and she forces a smile. "It only makes the small things shine much brighter through the darkness.
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako winces slightly. "That sounds horrible. I hope things do get better in the future..." She smiles softly and nods her head slowly. "That's true, it does." She glances at the card on the right side of the cross. "Speaking of which..."

"This card represents the immediate future." Ayako's sleeve flips over the card. The Lovers, upside-down. She pauses for a moment. "Hmm... soon you'll come across something that may cast doubt on your current path, or... a temptation of some sort."
Mihk Lihzeh     Mihk blinks in confusion at this. "That is both reassuring and troubling... my path is a twisted, and twisting one." she replies, and looks to the remaining cards. "Ringing so close and true... One could believe you are lying about having no magic with this." she says, smiling gently. It's a good natured expression.
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako inclines her head to the side gently. She still doesn't inquire further. After all, she isn't the type to pry. "If there is any magic, it's in the cards." She giggles softly and then shakes her head slowly. "Although I've checked them already. There's no magic in them. Perhaps I may accidentally be doing some sort of ritual?" She giggles, more brightly this time.

Although she regains her levity quite quickly as she looks towards the card closest to her in the card cross. "This card... represents your future." Ayako swiftly flips the card over. The High Priestess, upright. "Ah. Hmm... Yet dispite this situation, you will do what you feel is right, and be quite satisfied with it."
Mihk Lihzeh     Mihk hmms, then nods. "Mother always said I was strong willed, even as a child." she replies. "My current path is not the right one for me, but I will follow it until such a time as I am able to change it."
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako giggles softly. "Well, nothing wrong with being strong willed." Her head inclines to the side gently. "Well... I hope you can find a good time to change it to something that is more comfortable to you soon, then." She nods her head slowly and then glances down at the last face down card. "There's one card left. It's a card of guidance that may help. But... it can be misinterpreted and may hurt you instead." Her amber eyes move back to Mihk from the card. "It's up to you if you wish to see what it is."
Mihk Lihzeh     Mihk nods solemnly, then makes to stand. "I shall forge my own path ahead... the Aether shall be my guide." she bows slightly, "May you walk in the Light of the Crystal, Miss Water Spirit. I pray our paths cross again under happy circumstance." she straightens, then turns to leave. A passing glint shows a small coin, pressed in silver with the number 100, and the word 'gil' stamped with the symbol of a wooden sailing ship in the center, left on the table where the Miqo'te's hand was a moment before.
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako nods her head slowly and whews softly. "I see, I see! There is that way of thinking as well!" She smiles softly at Mihk. "I wish you good luck!"

And then she notices the coin placed onto the table. "Ah. There's no need to pay-" Of course, she's already gone by the time she saw it. Oh well. Ayako smiles softly as she takes the coin as she shuffles the cards back into the tarot deck. It would be rude otherwise.
Sarah Parsle There was only so much Afterus Sarah could take, now that she had access to the Multiverse. Afterus reminded her of things she didn't want to think about. It reminded her of time loops and death games and incontrovertible, inescapable fate.

Thus it is that Sarah had been working tirelessly to get away from her homeland. She had no attachment to it anyway. She wasn't even born there, to hear tell. Either way, Spring was more interesting. For a given definition of more interesting. As she putters along the thriving, near-idyllic environment, shr glances to one side and notices the blue lights. Clearly a sign of some kind. She turns and follows them directly to Ayako's table, her expression somewhat flat and searching as she looks over the water spirit in her fortune-telling clothing, and her setup. "Huh." She finally emite. "Sup." She greets. "What are you doing here?"
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako giggles softly at Sarah's 'Sup.'. "Good evening!" She lifts her sleeves that are shuffling her deck of tarot cards up. "Me? I'm just telling the fortunes of anyone that happens to be passing by." She notes Sarah's flat expression and smiles softly. "You look bored. Or tired." She giggles brightly. "Would you like to have your fortune told?"

The water spirit places her deck of tarot cards onto the table. "If you do... all I need is a bit of your time, your name and... for you to cut the deck."
Sarah Parsle Ayako's chipper brightness doesn't seem to infinge upon Sarah's slightly ringed eyes and gloomy expression. "Some of column A, some of column B." She looks over the cards with a squint, however, as Ayako offers to tell her fortune. "Fortunes, huh. Telling the future." She chuckles, and then sits down. "Have you ever heard of predestination paradox? Sometimes, knowing the future makes sure it happens, even if you try to avoid it." There is another, more bitter chuckle. "/Especially/ if you try to avoid it. But it doesn't matter anyway. Let's see what's in the cards. My name is Sarah Parsle, from the Predestination Academy for Gifted Ecto-Youths, or Death Game Academy for short." She reaches out and cuts the deck when Ayako offers it, taking just one card off the top.
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako giggles softly. "Well... it's not like I have any fortune telling magic so it's not like any fortune I told would definitely come true!" She shakes her head slowly. "Unless maybe you're the type that gets super absorbed in fortunes and starts trying to actively make them come true." Her head inclines to the side gently. "Well. I happen to think that the future is always changable! It just might take a lot of effort, that's all."

She smiles softly. "Well, nice to meet you, Sarah. I'm Ayako Hasekawa, a water spirit." Ayako floats off of her chair and curtsies in mid-air. She settles back into her chair and notes the one-card cut. A bright giggle follows after. "Ah, one of -those- cuts."

She picks up the deck and takes a deep breath before dealing out five cards in the shape of a cross. "Well then! Here we go. These five cards shall be your fortune!" Ayako reaches for the card closest to Sarah. "This card represents your Past." The Empress, upright. "Hmm... a period of growth... or maybe something to deal with your mother?"
Sarah Parsle "I don't know who my mother was. I had foster parents." Sarah replies matter-of-factly. "We arrived on our planet on meteors that were caught by an oceangoing horrorterror and were enrolled in a special academy to deal with our inevitable destiny of playing a game that could have resulted in the destruction of our world if our gods didn't go make sure that wouldn't happen."

Sarah pauses. "I'm actually not convinced it can't. Anyway, what growth I have is probably metaphorical because it sure isn't physical." She's short even for a 14 year old.
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako giggles softly. "Well, it may have to do with how you've been in school. I don't exactly know what the cards are saying all the time." She nods her head slowly. Her hand reaches for the card on the left side of the cross. "This card... represents the Present."

Death, upside-down. "Hmm... things haven't really been changing much for you recently, huh?"
Sarah Parsle "It's not your fault. You're doing the best you can with the hand you're dealt." She smiles faintly at the pun. "You chose to spend some time doing this, I chose to have you do it. It is what it is." She looks down at Death, upside-down. "We're in a holding pattern. We're trying to find a way to change things and improve our situation but it's been kind of like struggling in quicksand." She pauses, and looks back up to Ayako, and comments as if clarifying, "You just sink faster."

She looks back down to the card. "Nothing is going to change until our Session starts, but we're not sure when that's going to be."
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako giggles softly and then nods her head slowly. "That's true." Her head inclines to the side gently as she listens. "Hmm... I see." And then giggles brightly at the clarification. After all, she's what makes said quicksand quick. "Hmm... your Session, huh?"

She glances back to the cards and then reaches for the card on the right side of the cross. "This card... represents your immediate future." The World, upright. "Ah. Well. Maybe you'll find something that will improve your situation soon." Ayako smiles softly.
Sarah Parsle "Yeah. The purpose of Sburb is to play the game and overcome the challenges. If you succeed you can become the gods of..." Sarah pauses, looking down at the card. "New world. Or we can just die. Or some of us might die and the rest win anyway. Things are weird and messed up."
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako nods her head slowly. One of her amber eyes close slowly. "Being a god isn't all that's it's cracked up to be." And then winces. "Well I hope you don't die!" She nods her head slowly. "That does sound messed up."

She glances at the card closest to her. "Hmm... well, this card represents the Future." Ayako reaches for the card and flips it over. The Devil, upright. "Err... That's an odd position for this card... It seems you'll have a lot of energy... and perhaps be a bit focused on purely physical things."
Sarah Parsle Sarah looks at the card, staring at it intensely. "I have no idea what that's going to mean." She admits. "I don't do much of this kind of thing. But we'll find out what happens, I guess." She looks to the last card, then. "All right, so what's that one?"
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako shakes her head slowly. "I have no idea what it means either. It might mean an obscession with something to the point of it being detrimental as well." She shrugs lightly. "I guess you will see, sooner or later." When the one face down card is pointed out she nods her head once. "That card is a card of guidance. It might be helpful! It might not. But if you would like some advice, well... there it is." She smiles softly. "It's up to you if you wish to see what it is."
Sarah Parsle "Obsession, huh. Sometimes people call me pretty obsessive, I guess." Sarah doesn't think about it long. "Sure, go ahead and show me the card. It probably won't change what's going to happen anyway." Hmm, I wonder what she could be obsessed about...
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako nods her head once, swallows a bit nervously and then reaches for the card in the center of the cross. "Well... here goes then." She flips over the card in the center. The Wheel of Fortune, upright. "Hmm..." Her eyes glance at the other face up cards.

"It... it seems to want you to go along with your destiny, fate, or whatever. And yet keep an eye out for opportunities that may pop up." Ayako nods her head once.
Sarah Parsle Sarah shakes her head with an almost rueful expression. "Hah. Even the cards are telling me there's no getting out of it. I suppose that's about what I could have expected." She nods to Ayako, then. "It was a nice diversion anyway. Thank you for the fortune. May your future be decent." She hops off of the chair and resumes shuffling off at that point.
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako smiles softly at Sarah and shuffles her cards back into her deck. "I'm glad it was a nice diversion, and you're very welcome! Good luck to you, Sarah!" She cheerfully flaps a sleeve in a wave before resuming shuffling her deck.
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako leans back in her chair as she continues to shuffle the deck of tarot cards in her way too oversleeved hands. Her amber gaze moves skywards for a few minutes to stargaze... and then lowers to glance about.
Golden     Starlight glints off a small falling form from above, small limbs flailing wildly as it tries to do /something/ to slow its fall. But, instead, Golden crashes right into Ayako's 'table', splashing through the watery extension of the water spirit and hitting the ground underneath face-first with a great splash. How did he come to be in this predicament? Well...
MOMENTS AGO...

Golden flails in the claws of a giant eagle that's carrying him off to parts unknown. "I'm NOT an egg!"
"Quiet, eggs shouldn't speak." the great bird squawks at Golden.
"If you try to sit on me, I'm going to claw up your butt."
"Oh really?" And Golden is shaken like a snow globe to demonstrate the giant eagle's authority and somehow, Golden slips loose from the talons and starts falling to the ground below.
    "Ah man."
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako's amber eyes slowly blink as she glances upwards. "Hmm? Is something falling?" She inclines her head to the side gently as she looks upwards. "Hmm... the one time having the moon out would be helpful..."

And then Ayako's gaze follows Golden as he falls from the sky and onto her table. Blink. Blink. Of course, the table splashes upon impact and cushions Golden's fall and... the clear water slowly reforms back into the table.

Ayako sets the deck of cards onto her newly reformed table and then leans forwards. With one of her sleeves, she pulls the tablecloth edge upwards and peeks underneath the table. A floating blue flame appears by her face as she looks underneath the table, giving her some light. Technically, she doesn't need to do any of this, but appearances are everything to Ayako!

    "Hello? Are you okay?"
Golden     Golden extracts himself from the ground, peers at Ayako with curious blue eyes and puts a finger to his lips to indicate to be very quiet. "Shh... There's a giant eagle around that thinks I'm an egg."
Sure enough, moments later, a giant eagle comes swooping out of the sky like a great black shadow, circles the area a few times as though it were searching for something. It lets loose a screech of frustration as it fails to spot Golden, and flies off on the thermals.
Golden tumbles out from under the table. "Thanks miss! Um... I guess I should introduce myself? Sorry about before, but I go by the name Golden." He glances about.
"What're you doing all the way out here? Er, besides avoiding falling objects, I mean."
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako blinks her eyes slowly and then nods her head once, mouthing 'I see.'. She glances upwards and... whoa, there really is a large eagle flying above! Blink blink. Just another night in the Mulitverse!

Once the eagle leaves, she gestures the all-clear to Golden and giggles softly when he tumbles out from under the table. "You're welcome! Oh. Nice to meet you, Golden. I'm Ayako Hasekawa, a water spirit." She smiles softly down at Golden. "Me? Oh, I'm just doing some fortune telling. I do it once in a while when I feel like it."
Golden     Golden ohs. "Fortune telling." He seems to nod as if he's not entirely sure about that.
He finally shrugs and says "Wanna try it out on me? I'm sure there's interesting fortunes to be had if you're reading mine."
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako nods her head once. "Fortune telling." She smiles softly. "Oh don't worry, it's not like it's guaranteed to come true or not. After all, you can always change your future through your own actions."

She nods her head slowly, "Oh, you want your fortune told? Sure!" Ayako smiles brightly and... the table seems to sink down into the rug until it seems it has no legs. After all, Golden has to be able to reach the cards. "Well, all I need to ask you to do is to cut the deck. Not as 'in half with your claw', but to make two piles of cards." She giggles softly once she's clarified.
Golden     Golden smirks at the cutting comment. He carefully picks up half the deck and puts the other half on top, seeing as how he has only one hand. "Yeah, there's this comedy show on the radio that did that joke once. Something about a warrior with a sharp blade being trained to be a card dealer at a casino."
He watches Ayako and says after a moment. "You don't mind if I try not to say much, right? I don't wanna accidentally throw off your reading or interpreting of the cards."
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako giggles softly and nods her head once. "It's not a very nice joke. Especially since these cards were a gift from a friend and have some sentimental value to them to me." She nods her head slowly. "Hmm? Don't want to say much? Well... that's fine, I suppose."

She gently takes the cut deck of cards and... Hmm. Ayako gets up off of her chair, pushes it back, and grabs a pillow from her chair. Said pillow is placed on the rug and she settles down onto it. She swiftly deals five cards in the shape of a cross in front of Golden. "These cards will be your fortune then! First... the card that represents your past." Her sleeve reaches forward and flips over the card closest to Golden on the card cross. The Hanged Man, upright. "Hmm... a period of self-reflection, where you found a new point of view?"
Golden     Golden hmms... Definitely had a lot of that after arriving in the Multiverse. Especially since he wasn't anything like he used to be, physically speaking. He should have died. Then going further back, there was the Royal Knights turning on the digimon they used to protect and fight for.
He shakes his 'head' slowly. "That covers a lot of ground, honestly."
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako nods her head slowly. She glances at the card on the left side of the cross. "This card... represents your Present." Her sleeve swiftly flips over the card. The Tower, upright.

Ayako winces visibly at that card. "You're... you're going through a lot right now, aren't you? A lot of trouble, a lot of chaos, a lot of distress."
Golden     Golden shrugs, smirking. "When's the Multiverse not chaotic?"
It does point to the re-emergence of those loyal to Yggdrasil though. And that certainly has caused a lot of chaos for Golden in addition to raising specters of his past.
He examines the two cards revealed so far closely. "Wow, they put a lot of detail into these. Is that so people can remember what the card's, um... aspects are?"
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako giggles softly. "That's true. That's one reason I happen to like it so much." She inclines her head to the side gently. "Un. Un. Each of the cards represents a step on the journey through life. Naturally, it's a cycle, and just as naturally, a single life can go through many cycles." She nods her head once.

"Ah. This next card represents the immediate future." Ayako reaches for the card on the right side of the cross. The Wheel of Fortune, upright. "Hmm... fate, destiny... or... a turning point with new opportunities."
Golden     "Oh, that sounds about right too! The Multiverse is full of opportunities. Like meeting other digimon or making new allies." Golden says cheerfully.
He hmms and thinks for a moment before Ayako flips the next card. "The cards really are magic. They get people thinking about the stuff that's important to them based on what they represent." He finally says with a grin.
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako giggles softly and nods her head slowly. "That's one reason why I like telling people's fortunes. It gives them a moment to reflect and think a few things through. Along with some of my own thoughts." She smiles softly and then reaches for the card closest to her in the card cross.

"This card... represents the future." Ayako flips over the card. The Lovers, upside-down.

Her eyes glance at the face up cards as she thinks to herself for a moment. "Hmm... doubt. Perhaps in yourself, your beliefs, something that makes you wonder if what you're doing is right."
Golden     Golden smirks. "That's spot on without any deep thinking."
He glances at the last card. "Well, if that's my past..." pointing to the Hanged Man.
"And that's my present..." the Tower...
"Then these two are the future..." The Wheel of Fortune and the Lovers.
"Then what's this fifth card?" He finally asks.
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako nods her head slowly with each point towards a card. "Hmm? That card is a card of guidance." She smiles softly and with a hint of nervousness glances at the face down card. "If you want some extra advice, I can flip that card face up and tell you what it has to say. It can be interpreted the wrong way, though. So in the end... it's up to you if I should look at that card or not."
Golden     Golden ahs. "You look a little nervous, is it okay if I flip it then?"
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako blinks her eyes quickly and then nods her head once. "If you want, you can turn the card over yourself, yes."
Golden     Golden nods and turns the guidance card over carefully, as to not damage the other cards accidentally by catching them with the tiger claw on the back of his hand.
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako glances down at the card that was revealed. The World, upside-down. "Err..." She blinks her eyes slowly and then glances at the face up cards. "Hmm... Incompleteness. What is this card trying to tell you? I can't tell."
Golden     Golden falls silent for a very long moment.
"It's showing that I should try to become complete again."
He sighs. "Look, imagine if... pieces of you were just erased, like they never existed. And then instead of dying, you were put back together wrong. But sometimes you can get back to the way you used to be, only with a lot of danger and risk. Like a piece of paper that's been crumpled up and sometimes gets unfolded." He explains.
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako glances back at Golden once he starts speaking again after that long period of silence. "Hmm... complete again, huh...?" She smiles softly as she shuffles the face up cards back into the deck. "I can sort of understand the whole... pieces of myself thing." She nods her head slowly. "Well... I hope you can find a way to unfold that piece of paper." She smiles softly again.
Golden     Golden ehs. "If I did, then everybody would know who I am. Not necessarily a good thing, since that means there'd be people who would come looking for me. Anyway, thanks for the nice contemplative fortune telling, Ayako. Stay safe out here!"
The little digimon bounces off into the night.
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako smiles softly and flaps a sleeve as Golden bounces away. "You're welcome, Golden! And good luck out there!" She rummages around in her sleeves and retrieves a corked glass bottle from one. After a moment, she pops the cork out of the bottle and slips the deck of cards into it. The bottle is recorked and vanishes back into her sleeves.

She stretches her arms and then lies down on the cloth mat to look skywards, still with her arms spread out. "Hmm... that was a fun night!" Ayako smiles cheerfully and then glances about one more time. She gets back up and floats off the rug. "Thank you for being such a nice host as usual, Spring! Until next time~." The blue clothed fortune telling water spirit does one small twirl in mid-air before she dissolves into thin air along with her things.
