Kotone Yamakawa Old Tokyo, was a city ruined by the madness of the third world war. It was a miracle that the world pulled back from the abyss of nuclear annilation. That was a number of years ago and thanks to the japanese miracle the city had been purged of fallout. Reclaiming it was well under way but the now partially underwater city was well being picked over by others. Kotone was one of these she remained perched on a buolding overlooking what used to be the infamous Shinyibia crossing. The statue of a certain famour dog is no longe there it had long been moved elsewhere saved the sea. Oddly no looter had dared to deface it oddly enough. Kotone looked over a digital map as well as physical one, there was a carpark near by that might have some prime salvage targets or even parts. Who knows she had also asked for some help from Sarah, and even invited Blurr along if he'd wanted to come see part of her world.
Sarah Rogers     Sarah is flying over the city. Did she mention to Kotone she could fly? Oh well, She'll figure that out pretty soon, hopefully she won't be too freaked out. She's moving rather slowly, looking over the ruins with a rather morbid expression of her face, but finally after a few minutes she sets down near Kotone and waves at her, "Hey!" She smiles but it doesn't quiet reach her eyes. "This place is kind of depressing... What happened here?"
Blurr     Blurr is in anything but the best of moods. An...incident over the comms not long ago has him sulking. He doesn't refuse Kotone, though. So here he is sifting through the ruins of old Tokyo with her. It is kind of a depressing place, but it's not worse than Cybertron. "Same sort of thing that happened to Cybertron, I'd guess." he mutters in response to Sarah's question. "Are we looking for something specific, Kotone?"
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa says "World War Three happened, things started going nuclear and smeone deonated a nuclear device on Tokyo. I was an little kid when it all went down, I didn't understand the world had gone mad. Just my parents were really scared and my father was moving us away from a major population centre. World almost blew up, but people stopped it."

She puts the map away after a moment and she smirks at Blurr.

"Yup, lookin for car and bike parts. This used to be Tokyo by the way, there's a new Tokyo and they are slowly relciamin the ruins. Though honestly the room isn't needed right now not with how Japan's population crash is hitting darn hard now."

She seems to be n a good moot.

"Glad to have you both here, so ya car and bike parts. I doubt we'll find any human remains the recovery details were finished a long time ago on that. IF we do give a hollar I'll contact someone I know to make sure things are tended to."

She then smirks a little bit as sh leaps off the building lands on an old roof toup and is bounding off towards a carpark of somesort which is half under water now.
Sarah Rogers "Good to know." Sarah says uncertainly, She darts after Kotone then starts scanning the parts of the carpark that are still dry. After a few moments of flying around and peering at various sections she gets an excited look on fer face and heads back to Kotone, pointing up at an area that's collapsed,

"You see that caved in section? I couldn't see the other side very well, but from what I can tell there could be about a row and a half of vehicles that are in almost pristine condition thanks to being surrounded by all the concrete rubble. We just gotta dig them out!"
Blurr     "Yeah? What do you need them for?" Blurr wonders aloud as he lifts a large piece of rubble. Finding nothing, he shrugs and puts it back down. "World War 3....yeah, sounds like what happened to Cybertron all right." he sighs.
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa says "I see it and we'll we'll have to see on the makes and models too. There will likely be EMP damage to thier electonics but if your right a damn godo find."

She grins a little bit and leaps agian towards tge building.

"Parts for my own projects or selling them off. I girl's got to eat still even like me, right. Ya too much like it. I wonde rif our shorter life spans work in our favour for things like that? It burns itself out faster than with say near immortal god machines like your self."
Sarah Rogers     "I'm not sure if I understood all that." Sarah replies quizzically to Kotone's statement, fortunately it seemed aimed at Blurr, "Anyway, the real trick will be keeping the rest of the upper level from falling in as we clear it. I'm hoping Blurr can hold it up as we dig it out."

Sarah seems a touch annoyed with Kotone's leaping about, She can keep up, but it's kind of like trying to have a conversation with someone on a trampoline. "Maybe all the concrete and rebar helped protect the electronics?" She asks as she catches up to Kotone again.
Blurr     "'Immortal god machines'?" Blurr shakes his head. "-Please-." He sits down on a pile of debris and rests his head on his hands, sighing again. "Guess I shouldn't be surprised though. How could I expect other races to even remotely understand Cybertronians? We can throw parties and let them tour our facilities all we want, and they'll -still- be as critical as they ever were." It's not exactly clear whether Sarah and Kotone are including in this proverbial 'they'.
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa says "I doubt it but? The mechanical parts alone still make this worth it. If there's some other htings intact it's a bonus."

Looks at Blurr for a moment and tilts her head for a moment.

"I'm not trying to be insulting. Your life spans are long enough? A cybertoriuan could have observed humanity's evoultion from it's earliest ancestors to the modern age and have not spent very much of their life on it. I'm sorry if I came off as rude. Look I'm half way between your world and what I used to be I ... just feel a bit lost a lot of the time."
Sarah Rogers     "How old *are* you?" Sarah asks curiously as she starts to study Blurr, "And can you hold that big slab of concrete up while we start digging out the smaller bits?" She adds as she starts pushing rubble out of the way to clear a path to what's hopefully their good score. The pieces she's moving are usually something you'd use a small bulldozer to clear. but she doesn't even break a sweat lifting them.

"I uh.. basically grew up on another planet." She mumbles, feeling a little lost on the conversation between Kotone and Blurr
Blurr     "Me? About four million Earth years." Blurr answers. He gets up and pushes the concrete slab up to reveal whatever lies beneath. "I didn't say you were trying to insult me Kotone, I just--" he sighs again, shaking his head. "It was stupid of us to think that throwing a little party for people would actually -change- anything. And to think that the Union would be any more understanding than the Galactic Council for Primus' sake."
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa looks at Blurr for a moment and thinks the salvage can wait for the moment as this issue is more imporant. She listen and nods a little bit to Blurr as he lists his age. That scale of time is hard for her to grasp really. Stil she's clearly trying.

"Yes your life span is hard to graps but you know what that did show? IT's a goof start on showing that your people who have more in common with organic life than one might think we sould have incomon."
Sarah Rogers     "You look awfully well preserved for 4 million." Sarah says with an impressed smirk, "I mean that, I've seen tech engineered to last for thousands of years, but millions!? How do you keep from degrading into metal filings over all that time?" Since Kotone's taking a break she does too, floating up so she can make eye contact with Blurr.

"What problems are you have integrating with the Union? I've seen some *strange* members even my my standards, and my homeworld was made up of bits and pieces of dozens of different planets, including the native inhabitants and wildlife."
Blurr     Blurr quirks a brow ridge at Kotone. "Like what?" he asks. Seeing that they seem to be taking a break from the scavenging, he puts the concrete back down with a light thud.

He shrugs at Sarah's question. "Honestly I have no idea. I'm no medic." he replies, dusting his hands free of concrete debris. "You'd have to ask Ratchet or First Aid about that one."

"I don't know, Sarah." The Autobot sighs once more. "It's not that I'm any weirder than anyone else. But it starts to get oh, I don't know, -awkward- or something, when your own team seems to be siding with the -enemy-." Yeah, he means Mordred.
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa is sitting back for now, "You social, there wasn't too much off the enterainment barracks and living areas off what what I see back home baring ridge physical diferences in how we're built physically. I can't speak on Union things I'm not a part of it."
Sarah Rogers      Sarah rolls her eyes at Blurr, "I was never on his side!" She exclaims as she puts her hands on her hips, "He was visiting Inga, They were having tea! He wasn't armed, and we were damn lucky He didn't see us crashing our ship into their forest as an act of aggression!" She sighs, "He made it very clear that he wasn't there to fight and everyone was okay with it until you barged in and overreacted. He even activated a distress beacon to get you help! What else should I have done in that situation!? Shoot him in the back?"
Blurr     "I guess there are some things that all living, self-aware things share in common." Blurr shrugs.

The Autobot sighs again, this time sounding a little bit more frustrated. "See!" he throws his arms in the air. "This is -exactly- what I mean! I never said I expected you to shoot him in the back, what I did expect you to do was -not- trust him to take care of her, meaning -not- leaving her alone with him! How does that -not- make sense to you people?! I mean, by Solus' spark if you had a child of your own since you organics mostly have that in common, would you leave it in the hands of the enemy? I made a sarcastic comment on the broadband, and everyone calls me aggressive! You think -I'm- the one overreacting?!" Clearly he is.
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa arms fold now as they get to bickering she looks at Blurr for a moment and she tilts her head a little bit. "You are over reacting right now, Blurr. You need to calm down a bit and think this over a bit more. Clear headedly your suposed to be allied and your both going at it like your enemies!"
Sarah Rogers     Sarah gives an apologetic glance to Kotone, She really hoped this sore spot wouldn't come up. "In that situation he wasn't an enemy combatant." She tries explains to Blurr, "He was simply a man having tea, He didn't attack us, he /tried to help you out,/ and the only reason Inga fainted was because that hammer of mine happens to be a religious artifact in her culture. I trusted Mordred not to harm her because we share a similar code of honor when it comes to war, and he'd been following it perfectly up until the point where you gave him a reason not to!"

She takes a deep breath and looks to Kotone again, "I'm sorry.. I'm done now. Can we get back to work?"
Blurr     "Just because he hadn't given you a reason not to trust him yet doesn't mean you should go ahead and give him the perfect -opportunity- to do so!" Blurr exclaims. "You -don't- know him. Look," He folds his arms too. "It's easy to act nice, isn't it? Especially toward people who have no idea who or what you are. It's easy to say you're something you're not, and even get people to believe you're telling the truth. Hell I've done it myself. Thing is, it's hard for most of us to tell when someone else is just manipulating us into doing what they want us to do."

He groans, shaking his head, glancing at Kotone. Calm down and think? Not exactly Blurr's forte. "You see what I mean? They'll never understand. I try to protect our own and I get chastised for it and told I'm overreacting. Frag, -he- was the one who wanted to take some kind of revenge on me!

"Primus, nothing ever changes. Union, Galactic Council, they never understand because they don't -want- to try. I could make nice with them for cycles and they still wouldn't get it. Why do I even bother I don't even know." He stands up and turns away in a huff.
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa hs got into something that's another matter she's unaware of she's also aware? That Inga is a very good friend of her and she knows about Thor's hammer at the veyr least. Then she's met ?Thor as well and she now just listens as the rgument contiunes on. This salvage job has turned into Sarah and Blurr having it out in a rather burtal argument.

"You both are ripping into echother and going in circles. You both have valid points from this... shall we get back to work?"

She was not expecting this turn of events you live and learn.
Sarah Rogers     Sarah Raises her arms in the air and backs off from Blurr, "I said I'm done, I dunno how to change your mind without brain surgery and that voilates your basic right to be an asshole."

Looks back to Kotone she asks, "Where's teh best place to start digging through? We don't want to risk collapsing the upper level, though I'm reasonably sure Blurr won't drop it on us."
Blurr     Blurr doesn't make any reply for the time being, but simply stands there with his arms still crossed, refusing to look at either of them.
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa watche at the word play as they move on to the job at hand it seems to be best for the moment.

"We should try to go in and scout it out first. I don't have the senor pack for that in this shell I'm afraid."

Then Blurr is just crosisng his arms and not looking at them.

"So is that your reponse to everything? It's not helping the issue if you let a Dialog breakdown. IF we reached an impass we'll have to table this and get to work. Or are you going to stand there like this?"
Sarah Rogers     Sarah mock-punches Blurr in the shoulder. There's no actual force behind it, though she could easily tip him over if she wanted, "C'mon Blurr we need your help here! Can we just agree to disagree on this?" She sighs, "We can't get in there without crushing all the good salvage without your help! And you're being.. a baby! Were you in the crib for most of those four million years or what!?"
Blurr     Blurr hesitates for a few moments, but finally he relents and moves back over to the pile of rubble. Sighing, he pushes it back up again. He has to use the web to learn what a crib is, but finally replies, "Not literally of course, but for a good portion of the first part of it I may as well have."
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa says "Sounds like you have had quite a life, Blurr."

she noes beore she leaps down from her perches and lands on a ledge on the old car park. She takes a moment to star slipping her way in. "I think I found an way in for Sarah and I. There should be somewhere you can get in, Blurr this was a Carpark."
Sarah Rogers     Sarah decends to move a few bits of rubble aside to help widen the hole, "You should go first." She says matter-of-factly to Kotone, "Even without your sensor package I'm sure you see in the dark way better than I do." she explains, "Though in hindsight bringing a flashlight along would have been a good call."

She looks up at Blurr apologetically, "We're uh, still friends right?" She asks with a twinge of worry. "How much of that time were you actually awake and active?"
Blurr     Blurr crouches down slightly, peering into the opening the two of them have just slipped into. His optics light up the passage even brighter than a flashlight likely would have, the blue light casting somewhat of an eerie glow on their surroundings.

"Look, there's something you should know about me. Maybe it'll help you understand why I seem...I dunno, paranoid to you. I've done some things that I'm not proud of." he pauses for a beat.

"I was created to be a sports celebrity. Born right into fame and riches--it was all I ever knew. The people who made me valued me for the money and success they got because of it--I was an asset, plain and simple. So of course they 'cared' about me. And I just thought that was how things were meant to be and that was all there was to life."
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa pauses for a moment reaches into her clothing and passes Sarah one. She seems to be prepared for things. She does howver make to go in first slipping in to the ruined place leaves Kotone on edge. most personal items and smaller things are long gone. There's some remains of seal life as it seems sea birds love this place. Thankfully there are none right now, there's a few rusted out hulks here and Kotone thinks for a moment.

"Wait wait you were given life to be ... a media personality?!"
Sarah Rogers     "That explains some of it.." Sarah replies as she thinks on Blurr's words. She grins at Kotone for a moment, "Japan's been creating artificial media celebrities for a while now. Shouldn't seen that weird. But.. Giving one full sentience... That's got a be a Cybertonian thing." She looks back at Blurr before climbing into the hole, "I'm going to guess sometime after, when your war started, someone you trusted betrayed you?" She asks carefully, then turns back and looks for the dry area that will hopefully have the good loot.
Blurr     "Well..." Blurr glances downward for a second, looking somewhat ashamed. "For one, there was plenty of betrayal going on even before the war. And two, I was guilty of it myself more than anyone else I knew. So I've learned not to trust so easily, to say the least." he sighs. "I went through life doing everything my creators wanted me to, believing that it was for my own good like they always said. Letting them brainwash me, and later I found out they even erased my memories on occasion when I learned or saw things they didn't want me to know about."
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa Says "There's making one and then giving one to be life for one. As for Japan doing that? Yes it does I'm not actually from Japan orginally. Dad went to Canada, met mom there and stayed after World war three.

"I know this is an organic thing but your parents were assholes."
Sarah Rogers     "I Can see how that could make you paranoid." Sarah says to Blurr with a note of apology, then squims further into the cave in area, "There's got to be a few undamaged cars in here somewhere." She says hopefully, "Maybe Blurr and I can lift the ceiling off if we find something worthwhile."
Blurr     "I--killed a lot of people." Blurr says quietly, staring at the ground. "People who didn't deserve it. Because they trusted me when they...shouldn't have trusted any of us."
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa says "The Bluenose has a teleporter it might be able to get some smaller things but I don't have the ability to like load a car into my pocket. That's something only the people with matter maniplators can do...."

She trails off given what Blurr brings up and some of the pitfalls of even her own extended lifespan poential looms before her.
Sarah Rogers     Sarah nods solemnly to Blurr, though he may not be able to see it from he position inside the collapsed carpark. "You've got some bad trust issues. I get it" She sighs, "Consider the argument over. It's obviously not something that can heal overnight."

Sarah grins widely at Kotone, "I can pick Blurr up easy, Just ask him! Pick the car you like the most, and we can put any parts from other vehicles you want inside it and then I'll just carry the whole thing to your workshop!" She says proudly, "No sweat!"
Blurr     "I'm just afraid of other people I care about now falling into the same trap." Blurr admits. A lot of people would agree that he does have a tendency to overreact, though. "The people I worked for didn't exactly have much of a moral code other than line their own vaults with shanix."
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa says "I'm out clkassed yet again. You know carrying it in public would get you some damn crazy looks even for what combat cyborgs can do here. You really are something else, Sarah."

She has spotted the section that Sarah had found eariler.

"Why does that seem to be a common thing? Obession with money and all the woes it seems to cause regardless of species."
Sarah Rogers     "This world has at least some experience with the multiverse right? And I'm not exactly dressed like a native." Sarah points out, "In most places if I get high enough into the air no one bothers to look up Anyway. Hopefully it'll just look like an unsual delivery to a garage?" She muses, "Or.. we could have Blurr transform and just tow the thing, if he's okay with that and would obey the speed limits? By the way.. remind me to give you a hug when I get out of here. I've been picking on you too much lately."
Blurr     "It wasn't just money, either. Kotone. Money, power and influence all kind of go hand-in-hand." Blurr sighs. "As I would learn later, the government had its own servos in my creation and 'care' too. I was unique, so of course they wanted me working for them, of course they wanted me to believe everything they said."

"Yeah I could tow it." He agrees, though he doesn't say anything about speed limits.
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa Says "Sound like a plan so long as things don't become a media storm we should be good so let's not try to make too much of an splash onve we get these things out of here? I mean ther's off worlders then there's someone carrying a car one handed through town."

She seems amused at this but it's time to get to work.
