Kyra Hyral     For the last two weeks or so, Kyra has been very squirrly about being 'seen' around campus. She's gone through great lengths to conceal the conspicious flesh horn growing from her forehead through a variety of hats, headbands, hoods, and excuses. It had started to become pretty ridiculous for a girl that already had a number of weird rumors about her due to wild magic.

Fortunately, the white mage had a fairly good idea of what exactly caused the monsters to emerge now-not entirely, though. That is where the experiment came in. Kyra's selected one of the small arenas owned by Alexander Academy for her purpose of observing one of these monster emergences. Typically the arena is used for practical demonstrations or practice with a wide flat sandy ground in the middle surrounded by stadium seating. In the middle, Kyra has set up various bits of equipment she's borrowed from Alexander Academy's laboratories, mostly comprising of high-grade medical Scan devices. One in particular has been tuned to detecting and classifying the vagaries of time magic, which is what most space-related magic on Galianda is classified under. These devices surround the outer edge of the flat surface in the middle, sensors pointed inwards.

In the center, Kyra waits patiently with her hands clasped behind her back. Her hood has been pulled down and the fake unicorn horn she was wearing removed to reveal the unnerving bump on her forehead.
Haruhara Haruko      Haruko is, of course, present. She is wearing a rather casual outfit. And by casual, I mean a white nurse outfit, with a fairly high cut skirt. She smiles, crossing her arms, and adjusting her little nurse hat. She seems in a rather jovial mood as usual. Also, she's without her guitar, which is /fairly/ unusual for her. It's on her bike, parked outside the campus.

She smirks, placing her hands on her hips. She's made it clear to people that she doesn't know what the horn is (which is a lie), but she is still trying to make guesses at what the horn might be caused by (which is to mislead).

"...You know, have you ever considered that it might be a curse by a witch or something? Have you pissed off a witch, recently?"
Audrey Stormfist     Audrey needs only very little excuse to find the idea of meeting Kyra in an arena appealing. To be told she's here to essentially piss Kyra off until something bursts out of her only made the occasion a little bit more special.

The KIRIN supervisor has come as requested, blue military overcoat and all-- her typical uniform, even when off duty or in class. She's shown up with a stack of papers, from afar looking like assorted forms that needed stamping. She's otherwise armed with the usual sheathed gunblade, and her sleek magitech gloves otherwise.

She's smiling, rather than straight-faced, which is probably the only new thing to note.

"Hyral. And-- I'm afraid I don't know you," she says towards Haruko. "Audrey Stormfist. KIRIN supervisor, Murasame Zaibatsu. Kyra's... 'best friend'." One can hear the air quotes.
Xiao Li Yu      Following just a little ways after Audrey is one FUJIN scientist, by the name of Xiao Li Yu. She wasn't in uniform today, and rather, was wearing a white and gold lab coat. In one arm was a laptop, which seemed to be the norm for her. "Hello, hellooooo~ Kyra and..." She stopped and squinted at Haruko. "Do we have a new school nurse?"

Yes, let's leave it at that.

"I hope you don't mind if I record the results of this happening, Kyra?" A silly question. There was already plenty of scanning equipment set up around the arena anyway. The smile on her face suggested she was asking just to be a bother. "The data may be useful later. Somehow. Someway. I'm sure."

     So she said.

That out of the way, she stopped by the nearest foothold, setting her laptop down to record for starters.
Kyra Hyral     "I've pissed off a lot of witches." Kyra says thoughtfully, "Though not any around the time this whole headmonster thing started happening." She sounds pretty serious about that too-clearly Kyra is not someone who walks around with very few enemies.

She steels herself, waiting for members of the Zaibatsu to show. It's surprising that Souji himself wasn't coming but moments later, messages on her Linkshell help her realize why: he's obviously got another engagement. Understandable. Audrey would do perfectly for this purpose either way.

Suspicion sinks in about exactly what Audrey's been told as she sees the monky come in with a big smile on her face. Just seeing that makes her a little bit more angry. "This is Haruko, she's a friend. Kind of an adopted big sister." she explains to Audrey.

Oh dear Xiao is here too. It's double trouble Murasame Zaibatsu tonight. "No." Kyra says dryly, "I don't mind. I am recording it myself, in fact. Though I'm curious as to what /your/ interest in this phenomenon is?" Not waiting for an answer, she turns back to Audrey.

"Well. Thank you-" the words sound like poison in her mouth, "For this assistance. Though while you are here, I wouldn't mind hearing just what exactly your problem is with me. Though I suspect it is my personal distaste for Murasame."
Haruhara Haruko      Haruko grins widely at Audrey and Xiao. Yeaaah, neither of them know who she is. She firmly places her hands on her hips as she wals over to Kyra. She wraps her arm around Kyra's shoulders, and noogies Kyra on the forehead. She smiles at Xiao and Audry, speaking rather casually, "Yeeeep! Not a nurse, just like the fashion. And please be kind to my somewhat annoying little sister~." She is, obviously, being rather sarcastic. She hugs Kyra from behind, just slightly, smiling as she looks at the others.

     "...And let's get this /started/!"

Unless someone stops her, she starts reaching for Kyra's horn. And starts to tug, grasping it from the top. She's even willing to reach her fingers into the portal in Kyra's head, rather wrecklessly.
Audrey Stormfist     "This is neither the time nor place for me to air my grievances, Hyral. We will talk of them, one day, of that I have no doubt. For now, perhaps we should focus on you, lest that horn of yours sprout a head and begin talking," Audrey answers, before glancing at Haruko as she starts... poking at Kyra's horn, and such. How odd. Well, if it's time, though...

"I brought you something to help."

Audrey hands the stack of paperwork to Kyra.

"Kazik Nualan. Erik Milko. Ross Fairfield. Reinold Tiberius. Vasquez Sandre. The list goes on. Please, take a look, Hyral. That day you with-held your healing talents from the XCOM group, because you thought me such an important obstacle in your life."

The forms handed to Kyra are death confirmations, branded with assorted military stamps. K.I.A. most of them state, with a few M.I.A. here and there. Not all soldiers, either. How Audrey got ahold of this documentation is anyone's guess, but it would all check out to someone like Kyra.
Xiao Li Yu      "...Uh-huh."

Xiao nodded at Haruko, smiling in a polite manner all the same. "Well then, pleasure to meet you, Miss Haruko." Oh boy, was she reaching INTO Kyra's head? The scientist blinked momentarily. "How...exactly did this happen to you to start with?" Xiao tilted her head slightly, as she posed that question to Kyra. Nope, she wasn't going to stop Haruko at all. Keep it going. For SCIENCE.

"As for my interest in this...why should I not be interested? Such an unknown phenomenon or course bears investigating!" 'Investigating', she said. That probably meant vivisection, poking with needles, and all other manner of things as well.

The subject of Kyra's distaste for Souji went uncommented however. Of course she knew. But it wasn't her job to defend the man. It was her job to make new discoveries and technologies. Souji could handle himself. ...Then again, it's not like she'd defend the man's character otherwise. Good going.

Right now, she was more concerned with the reaction that would or wouldn't come from that horn. "Oh my. This is news to me." Xiao stepped forward, leaving her laptop and stopping beside Audrey. "I had no idea you were so cold, Kyra. To deny healing to those in need? Don't you healers have some kind of oath to uphold or something?"

She brought a hand to her chin, thinking on it before adding. "...But then, far be it for Kyra Hyral to follow any type of rules, guidelines, or traditions. Yet, even when it costs others their lives right before your very eyes? Tsk tsk..." She shook her head in feigned disappointment.
Kyra Hyral     "Actually, no, this is the perfect time and place to air those grievances." Kyra folds her arms over her chest, then staggers as Haruko ruins her stoic pose by assaulting her with a noogie. "Gah-"

Audrey passes her the stack of papers. It takes a moment for her to realize exactly what she's looking at-not that it takes long because Audrey is too happy to explain. "I-" her hands shake, Xiao's callous words certainly not helping the situation. Any gratefulness for this help immediately evaporates as the white mage is suddenly overcome with apocalyptic rage. Angrily, she hurls the papers to the ground. "YOU /BITCH/! YOU MADE YOURSELF THAT OBSTACLE!"

Haruko will discover she's not going to have to pull very hard.
Haruhara Haruko      Haruko's hands slide inside of Kyra's forehead. But, suddenly, as Kyra flips out? Haruko looks down to her wrist. Upon it, there is a metal bracelet with a single chain on it. The chain starts to rattle, just slightly.

And for a split second Haruko's eyes have a wild look in them. It goes fast, and she just smiles now, looking excited.

     "It's /coming/!"

She stumbles back. Looking for something, /anything/, to defend herself. Any sort of improvised weapon. She has a bit of time at least. The creature is taking its time coming out.

Kyra's horn is flat, and bladelike. It stretches out, beginning to take on a bit more of a metallic sheen. A stubby green hand is holding at the base of what is now obviously a knife. A robed arm. Then, the rest of this small green creature pops up. He stands on the ground, mostly covered in simple drab robes. A knife in its left hand, a lantern in the other. A tail trails behind him.

     Yep. It's a Tonberry.

The small creature shuffles its feet slightly, slowly walking. It moves towards Xiao, making a straight path forward.

     [Everyone's Grudge]

The small Tonberry stabs straight at Xiao's stomach.
Cirra Constantine     The testing arena has a dual purpose. The space, the equipment and the sandy floor makes it perfect for one additional fucntion.

A sphere streaks through the air, impacting the ground infront of the Tonberry with suffcient impact to be vexing to those nearby

    JUDGEMENT SPIKE

    Volleyball.

The entire Alex Ander Academy Girl's Volleyball team stands there, mouths agape as a.../monster/ sprouts out of Kyra's head. Then up there in the observation bleachers stands a lone woman.

CAPTAIN OF THE GIRL'S VOLLEYBALL TEAM

                               CIRRA CONSTANTINE

Cirra stands with arms crossed in her volleyball uniform with a frown etched on her face. "I knew you were hiding something, but I could hardly imagine it was this, Kyra Hyral."
Audrey Stormfist     Just the reaction she wanted. Audrey would smile, crossing her arms-- making no attempt to pre-emptively protect herself from Kyra. "Did I? You chose to pay attention to me. You chose to take the bait. This blood is on your--" Hands, she'd finish, if she could. Haruko suddenly pulls a Tonberry out of Kyra.

    That's new.

"What a worrying medical condition," she says, flatly.

Since the Tonberry is not aiming for her, she stands back.

Her glare turns to look at Cirra, but she has nothing to say or add at the moment. An audience was to be expected in a public location, though for it to be her is a bit surprising.
Xiao Li Yu      Oh boy, here it comes! Another fearsome monster out of Kyras hea-

     "...Eh?"

     It was a Tonberry.

Not to say Tonberries were weak, but...it was kind of disappointing. "A Tonberry? ...Where were you hiding that all this time, Kyra?" Xiao asked in a mildly amused manner. She stared at it, and then soon realized that it was making a beeline towards her. "...Wait a moment. It's coming for me, isn't it?"

She blinked a bit, and then stepped aside, away from Audrey to test this theory. Yep, it followed her. Crap. "Kyra! Why is this thing following me?" Xiao called after the white mage, frowning a bit. The distance was getting smaller and smaller until-

     DOINK

     9999 Damage!

Xiao's eyes widened and she quickly stumbled back several steps, escaping the creature and grasping her stomach. Blood was streaming through her fingers, but a telltale green bracelet on her wrist began to light up, and the blood gradually became less and less as the seconds passed. "....Ow! Why is that thing chasing me!? If I didn't have a Regen bracelet, I'd be dead!"

     Then the volleyball struck.

"Ah! Cirra! Wonderful timing! Get rid of this creature here, would you~? Please? Pretty please? With sugar on top~?"
Kyra Hyral     "Haruko, what are you-nnngggh!" Having the monsters come out never felt very great to Kyra. Later she'll be disturbed to see the replay of the footage of this incident, being able to see the phenomenon for the first time.

"Why are you just standing there, Stormfist! Fight the damn thing!" Kyra barks out at the monk. "It'll go after /anyone/, including you!" Or including Xiao, which Kyra witnesses being attacked by one of the terrifying, signature abilities of the Tonberry. "I don't know! These things have a mind of their own, I'm sure, or else they wouldn't be attacking me too when shit like this happens!" Kyra levels a hand at Xiao and murmurs the basic chant for an easily-recognized cure spell.

But halfway through, she can feel the white magic going wrong. "Shit!" she swears as the spell takes on a very time magic bent to it:

    OLD

Kyra freezes up when she sees Cirra and the entire volleyball team standing there, watching this experiment. If Kyra weren't so pale already, the color would be draining out of her face right now, "C...cirra..."
Haruhara Haruko      The Tonberry is forced to stumble back as the volleyball comes in, the impact from the ball against it quite a surprise. But, it's no matter. It hit one target already. It turns towards Audrey next, shambling for her. If not for Cirra having used a ranged attack, it'd go for her next, but... Yeah..

It still shambles towards Audrey. Despite its slow speed, it actually is somehow moving fairly fast at the same time. It's honestly quite bizarre, but it can close the gap between itself and Audrey in an instant. It lifts up its little knife, stabbing at Audrey with a loud *DOINK* sound.

Haruko, meanwhile, is randomly looking around, annoyed, "WHY IS NOTHING IN HERE SUITABLE FOR AN IMPROVISED WEAPON!?"

She then glances to Kyra. Who is looking a bit... off comapred to usual. A smile crosses Haruko's face. She speaks. Whispering. "...Improvised weapon."

She makes a /mad/ dash to Kyra, trying to grab her by the torso to swing her at the Tonberry. This will do minimal damage, if it even /does/ any damage.
Cirra Constantine     "I'm not here for you. Xiao Li Yu." Cirra tosses her long silver hair over her shoulder. Then watches Haruko try to use Kyra as a blunt instrument and sighs through her nose. Well that ruined the moment.

"Kyra Hyral!" she points. "This monster came from you, you have to stand up to it!" she then holds out her hand and is given another ball by a member fo the volleyball team. She tosses it in the air and spikes it down at the Tonberry.
Audrey Stormfist     "Fine, if it will shut you up," Audrey says to Kyra.

She uncrosses her arms; the Tonberry slithers towards her with that unusual fast slowness, or slow fastness, it's hard to tell with them. The knife swings for her, and the Monk's right hand strikes for it palm out. The knife cuts through the inner layer of the glove and through the hand, though not through the other side completely-- there's a lot of blood, though.

Audrey clenches that fist, trying to trap the knife in her hand and yank it away. Her other hand clenches, and suddenly shimmers with a bright, blinding white-gold light. "Holy Strike."

Called shot or not, the other hand strikes out for the Tonberry, charged with holy power. TL;DR it's a holy punch.

She's working in-sync with the volleyball tossed by Cirra, to try and make use of the opportunity strike window in there, if any at all. Depends on how distracting that ball is to the creature!
Xiao Li Yu      "Oh really? Because I would have totally thought that--" Xiao was about to make a snarky comment back to Kyra, but then stopped, feeling a very NOT healing spell washing over her. "...Why.....always....the worst.....times....!?" Xiao grumbled out, feeling her strength slipping away as the OLD spell took effect.

Her hair, which was white, had begun to take on a dull, gray look to it that was distinctly 'old', and her features grew more and more elderly, wrinkles and all. "....Ehhhhhh...I feel so tired." The suddenly elderly Xiao muttered, shakily settling down onto the bleachers carefully, like.....like an old person.

"Can't...fight like this....I'll leave it you you youngin's. Good luuuuuuuck-Ghk!" The tail end of that statement was followed by a coughing fit.

"I remember back in my day...we didn't have monsters popping out of our heads. Just good old fashion random encounters at an annoying high frequency. ...They were the best of times....and the worst of times..."

Oh my god, someone cast Esuna quick!
Kyra Hyral     "Cirra, it's not like that! And how the hell am I supposed to fight a-" Kyra protests, moving to reach for something under her hoodie. Judging by where her hand is going, it seems she is reaching for her gun. One of her guns.

But this plan of action is suddenly cut short as Haruko seizes her and starts swinging her around like some kind of blunt object. "AHHH-NO WAIT!!" Poor Xiao is going to have to wait for that esuna, unfortunately, as Kyra is flung around. There is one advantage (or disadvantage, maybe) to using her as a melee weapon though.

This smashes the flasks held on her waist. This results in three things simultaneously in her immediate area: drops of potion everywhere, a gaseous cloud of poison, and an explosion as one of her liquid napalm flasks is smashed open. The last two end up leaving Kyra poisoned and damaged enough that she goes limp as she's swung around.
Haruhara Haruko      This is a strategy the Tonberry wasn't expecting. As the knife hits, he's hit by the ball. And, this makes it significantly easier for Audrey to take the knife right out of his hand. The holy punch tosses him back, causing him to slide along the ground. At the very least, its most powerful weapon is out of its hands.

As Kyra /explodes/ at the Tonberry, a fair amount of damage happens at least. To both of them. The toxic poisons and the explosion do a significant amount of damge, causing the Tonberry to recoil more. The creature is on its knees now. Definitely on its last legs.

Which is why it's casting a final spell.

It lifts up its lantern. A powerful force is felt within it. Intense magic is being charged, and suddenly there is a large ball of dark energy surrounding it, and the entire /room/.

     [Graviga]
Haruhara Haruko      Of course, since Haruko was using Kyra as a bludgeon, and because Kyra exploded, and due to the increased gravity? Haruko has taken on a new strategy.

Namely, she is collapsing under Kyra's weight due to the increased gravity. She bites her lower lip hard, collapsing to the ground under Kyra's weight.

"SIS, YOU REALLY NEED TO LAY OFF THE SWEETS."
Cirra Constantine     "It's a metaphor, I'm telling you to woman up and-" the entire building is caught in a Graviga, easily the widest area one Cirra's ever seen. The entire volleyball team is struck to the ground, and Cirra is forced down to her knee.

"Nhhg-" she draws a card out of thin air and slams it into the ground, forming a magic circle. "The. Briar." The ground between her and the tonberry is suddenly covered in spiky bushes that try to wrap around the creature and strangle it out.
Kyra Hyral     Kyra's limp body suddenly twitches. One of her eyes peeks open, a decidedly angry look appearing on her face, "Did you just call me /fat/?" she asks incredulously. With no good STR score of her own to boast about, she struggles to even lift her hand. But with much effort she manages to do just that. Fortunately for everyone involved, the magic she casts this time works as intended. Good thing too because between Kyra and Xiao, it's very much needed.

    "ESUNAGA!" Multi-target remedy!
Xiao Li Yu      Xiao groaned. "Ugh! GRAVIGA! What are you worthless youngsters doing? How could you actually LET that goshdarned critter CAST a derned spell!? Don't you know how to fight in a party at ALL? I swear! Back in MY day, we coordinated our groups to fight in the most efficient manner possible! Not a single point of MP was wasted!"

Oh boy, now she was ranting. "What I see now is a sad, pathetic shadow of the good old days! No finesse! Such sloppiness! Your ancestors are surely rolling in their graves right about now! Can't you silly kids do better? It's a insult to the generations of warriors, healers, thieves, and mages that worked so hard to bring Galianda to this point of prosperity!"

Even under the weight of that gravity spell, the currently elderly woman continued ranting up a storm. "I swear, if I were even ten years younger, I'd give that pathetic little Tonberry a real what fer! Wham bam ramshackle! Poor fool would never know what hit 'em till it was too late! In fact, I-"

...SOMEONE PLEASE CAST ESUNA. PLEASE. NO MORE!

     Oh.

     Oh! There it is!

Mid rant, Xiao could feel her body regaining strength. ...Well, what hadn't been sapped by the old spell anyway. Her elderly appearance gradually warped back to a younger one. Hair turning a shinier white, wrinkles vanishing, OLD was dispelled.

     Finally.

"-I ......forgot what I was going to say."

     Fantastic.
Audrey Stormfist     Knife get. HUGE GRAVITY ATTACK GET, TOO.

Audrey is forced to one knee, much the same as Cirra. She removes the knife out of her hand, at least, and with much focus, magic flows to it to close the wound, as is traditional for Monks to do. It still hurt like hell, but that's what Chakra is for.

"Hyral. Your head Tonberry is on its last leg. Perhaps you would do us the honor of ridding us of its presence, or do you intend for us to do all the work for you?" Bitch bitch whine whine.
Haruhara Haruko      The spikey bushes move into the Tonberry, the various needles and spikes pressing into the skin of the creature. It's fairly hard for it to move due to its injury, and to get past the spikes. Most of its MP has been spent as well. It just sits there, lifting its lantern. Trying to gather more energy for another attack. Tonberry are dangerous monsters, yes. But.. This one isn't going to last much longer.

     Time to finish it up.

Haruko stands, looking at Kyra. She leans slightly, to put a hand on the somewhat stressed girl. And, Haruko smiles, looking at Kyra. "...They're right. This is your responsibility. I mean. You don't want these coming out of your head. But. It's still your head they're coming out of. So. Finish off, sis."
Kyra Hyral     "...it wasn't my responsibility..." Kyra mutters, her green eyes shifting to the smouldering, discarded papers that Audrey had passed over to her. She closes her eyes. "I'm a white mage, we don't really 'finish things off', you know that, Audrey." She sounds weary as she picks herself up once the spell ends, but she lingers as she crouches on the ground, pulling something out of her boot.

"Hopefully with the data we've gathered, we can figure out why this is happening. I don't /like/ being this messed up. I don't like being this much of a goddamn freak." Her hand tightens on a small object concealed in it as she approaches the Tonberry. Once within grabbing range, she strikes, appearing to punch it quickly in the face. Upon closer inspection, however...

...it seems she's taken the scalpel she normally keeps concealed on her and rammed it down into one of the Tonberry's eyes.
Haruhara Haruko      The scalpel is shoved into the Tonberry's eye. It remains still, for just a moment. A bit of black blood-looking fluid leaks out of the eye. It collapses forward, its body breaking up into black smoke. There is a dark screaming sound coming from it as it dies, much like hissing steam and screaming wolves.

But, the creature is no more. And Haruko smirks, looking over at Kyra.

"Good job! Way to take care of business."
Audrey Stormfist     "One should be ready to finish what they start regardless of their upbringing, Hyral," Audrey says; with the gravity attack fading, she rises from her feet, putting the Tonberry's dagger away. You can never have too many weapons in store.

"Now that that is over, I must confess a small matter."

She motions towards the scatters papers. "These forms are fake. They would not have passed XCOM's security, truth be told, but I didn't need fully accurate ones to fool you. I have done the research, however-- no one died on that day. So I'll grant you that respite."

She regains the smile she had as she arrived. This was a huge gamble, really; she had no way to know if Kyra had been told nobody died that day. No way to know if Kyra had XCOM on radio contact. It was all a bluff.
Cirra Constantine     With the Graviga released, Cirra stands back up once again and looks at the vapourizing tonberry. "Now maybe you could explain whats been going on?" of course she's immediatly swarmed by the volleyball team who begin to treat Cirra as an idol, generally making a fuss and drowning out her questions. Eventually she just stops and crosses her arms as she waits for them to calm down.
Kyra Hyral     "I didn't start this." Kyra grumbless miserably, looking as dejected as she sounds. Gripping the handle of the scalpel, Kyra pulls it back to her as she slips out a small medical wipe to clean the emergency weapon off. Once that's done, she treats herself to a potion to counteract the previous explosion wounds.

"What's that, Audrey?" she says between gulps, pausing mid-gulp and spittaking when Audrey says she faked the forms. Kyra wipes her mouth with the back of her hand, looking angry for a few seconds before she...sighs, defeated. Getting upset would just make another monster appear, wouldn't it? "Well. It was effective, at least. I never followed up on the incident so I couldn't tell it was all fake."

She's glad Cirra's suddenly distracted. It gives her time to tend to the recordings of her machines, putting her mind off of the incident. Nonetheless, she looks pretty miserable.
Xiao Li Yu      "Ouuuu- good job." Xiao clapped slowly, clearly not actually moved at all by this. "You've overcome your headmonster and become a better person for it! Good job~" Except none of that happened. Beyond the former anyway.

"Oh, and thank you for the Esuna. ...I can't remember what I said though. I just remember I talked. A lot. ...Hmn." She didn't think too hard about it. Instead, she picked up her laptop from beside her and proceeded to check on the readings she'd set it to record.

     "Now then..."
Haruhara Haruko      The readings from the machines give a lot of varied info. First and foremost, it confirms something already known about the condition. There is some sort of weird distortion in space within Kyra's head. But, the tools help find where it /came/ from this time. It's definitely a Tonberry from this world. The space connection seemed to link randomly to a spot upon this world, and pull a monster from it.

Also of note are some readings about Kyra's mental state. While it is hard to examine her brain while it isn't there at /all/, testing for other signs of stress show that she was under a /massive/ amount of anxiety and stress. While it is uncertain, the peak of the stress was at the same time the Monster appeared.

Haruko herself is looking over the readings too. Her face looks like she is considering it /quite/ a bit. Trying to interpret the facts and numbers.
Xiao Li Yu      Xiao nodded occasionally as she observed the recorded data on her screen. She'd had a basic idea before. That idea being 'monsters pop out of Kyra's head', but this gave it far more grounding. "I see...I see...Hmn." She glanced over at Kyra in that moment, seeing that the white mage was busy looking over her own copy of the data.

"Kyra! I assume you've come to same conclusion that I have?" The scientist asked, not bothering to elaborate. As much as they poked fun at each other, Xiao knew Kyra was far from dumb. No need to baby her with obvious conjecture now.

"If I understand these readings correctly, then the next question to ask would be; How to go about putting a stop to this once and for all?"
Kyra Hyral     Kyra seems sullen as she reviews the data and clearly off in her own little world as she does so. Xiao's words bring her back to attention as she shakes her head to clear it, then looks up at Xiao. "Oh? Huh. Yeah. Yeah, I got it. I...."

She looks at the ground. "I would like to stop it, yeah."
