Faruja Even with Ivalice's ramping troubles, never let it be said that Faruja Senra isn't one to extend hospitality. With the recent news of the fall of Cleyra, the rat has been out of sorts, even Ainsley's victory not able to salve the wound to his heart. He's barely slept, scrambling to find a place for his people...and to concoct revenge.

After one of his servants all but ordered the Inquisitor to rest, the rat has stubbornly done the next best thing: invited a group of trusted friends and allies to tea. After getting a nice tour of the clean, pious city of Mullonde and its many Cathedrals, they'd be led down a twisting series of alleyways to a building that's what might be considered a medieval office building. Understated, and very much generic in the more 'industrial' part of the large city, it could easily be bypassed if not for the pair of discrete looking guards and slightly greater amount of religious iconography upon the walls and within. Led into the building, the group would find themselves in the rat's office, now mostly cleared out aside from his massive desk, an equally massive pile of papers, a liquor cabinet with a suspiciously booze bottle-sized hole in the glass, and one large table with tea and scones set out for a sizable group. Faruja sits at the head of it, head in one clawed hand, likely half asleep.
Allyn Actually in his human form for once Allyn follows along with the others, though a bit slower as he is still limping slightly from an encounter with some unknown enemies the other day. Well, he had seen them before, but last time they didn't seem like enemies. Though he had also been busy ding various things around Ivalice since it'd become like a second home to him. He's rather quiet as a human, compared to when he's an animal it seems. He bows to Faruja, "Good day my friend." he greets Faruja.
Saber      Naturally, when the Inquisitor had sent invitations for tea to the (currently only) Knights of the Round Table, Arturia wouldn't have turned it down unless there had been some sort of emergency. It was a welcome change to be out and about again, particularly after her marshal's nasty encounter with the darker side of Magatha Songsteel. The following weeks had been spent refusing to leave the Tohsaka estate and ensuring that Bedivere remained generally unconscious while he healed. And a good thing; being unconscious meant he couldn't protest when she tended to him.

And so much the better that the lands they visited now were somewhat reminiscent of what had been their home, the kingdom Saber had once ruled. There were many differences, of course, but enough similarity to be comfortable. Arturia did not take the trouble to hide her expressions that she was enjoying herself.

When they were led down into Faruja's office, however, the Servant could not help but sigh. there had been a trait of hers which had seemed to emerge upon her contract with her current Master; fussing over those she considered friends and others similarly close to her. The Inquisitor looked exhausted. "You have been overworking yourself," she scolded mildly. Not that she didn't understand and was even guilty of much of the same herself, but her friends were different! They were not permitted to overwork themselves to the point of exhaustion.

Having likewise noticed Allyn's presence and gotten her fussing out of the way, she bow/nodded politely to the shapeshifter. "Greetings, Sir Allyn," she greeted with a faint smile. "It is good to see you again. I hope that you have been well."
Auron Auron does have a job to do; he's supposed to be skulking around for the entrance to the mines at that town. But see, he can only do that at night. And it's daytime now. And he does have a chocobo. Spiran chocobos might not be the vicious fighters and skilled mages that Ivalician chocobos are, but one thing they do well? GO FAST. Thus he is able to go to Mullonde. He should still get back in time, thanks to the speed of his chocobo.

He's wearing his hooded robe still, but he has the hood pushed back so he doesn't look quite so threatening. Though, rather humorously, he might actually fit in with some of the monks or priests if he'd left it pulled up. Still, he doesn't want his identity obscured at the moment.

The tour is listened to with interest. It almost feels nostalgic, remembering growing up in Bevelle. When they're led to where Faruja's sitting, half-asleep, he smirks a little. He's quiet until Faruja's awoken, probably by someone speaking, and speaks up himself. "Greetings." This is aimed at everyone in the room. He's the quiet type anyway.
Sir Bedivere   Following the King of Knights is the Marshal of Camelot, her trusted lieutenant and onetime second-in-command. Sir Bedivere has seen better days, and certainly better days have seen him. He looks a bit drawn and pale, but he keeps up gamely with Saber, walking slightly behind and to one side of her; the proper position for a subordinate. He wears his customary plate mail, but the plates over his ribs on the right side seem to have suffered some mistreatment -- staved in, though there are marks that suggest some of the damage has been hammered out.

Still, it must have been a crippling blow. That he's on his feet at all is somewhat impressive in and of itself.

The pale-haired knight regards Faruja with thinned lips, though his expression remains bland otherwise. After a moment a faint hint of a smile flickers across it, and he raises a gauntleted hand, palm out. "Greetings, Sir Senra. You have our thanks for the invitation. I hope you are well? Ah, and Sir Auron, as well. Sir Allyn." Bedivere inclines his head politely to each of them. Forgive him for not bowing. The idea of folding in half with a wound like that in his side is not a pleasant one.
Faruja Allyn's approach gets the rat jolting suddenly with a light squeak of surprise. Letting out a deep sigh, his tail squeezes his chair's leg, and Faruja rubs his eye. Offering a warm smile to the man, he stands, returning the bow.

"Ser Allyn! My, my, my, I hardly recognized ye! Come, come, sit, please." Before the rodent can fetch tea for the man, in enters his other companions! He, similarly, had hardly noticed Auron!

"Ser Auron! Dame Saber, Lord's blessings upon ye all! Welcome to Mullonde. I trust ye were treated well upon arrival?"

Faruja's ears fold back, the rat sitting up straight as he bows to those entering.

"I shall be quite fine, I assure ye, Dame Saber. Ivalice is a veritable hornets nest of danger these days, and rest is a small thing to sacrifice." He returns stubbornly, trying to cut the figure of a strong Inquisitor. The darkness under his eye might ruin that image a bit.

His voice softens a bit. "..I thank thee for thine concern, however."

Then it's good Ser Bedivere. "Hail, good Ser. Please, sit." The rat's already getting a chair for the obviously injured man, then following up for Saber, and then everyone else. Clearly it's injured and ladies first. The Inquistor is swift to pour tea.
Sir Bedivere   Bedivere shakes his head when the Inquisitor starts to fuss over him, moving to take the chair and scoot it out himself. That is to say, he's moving to scoot out Saber's chair for her. (To the surprise of no one, least of all her.)

Still, he lowers himself with undue care into his own chair, and though he doesn't so much as wince, Saber herself ought to be able to tell he's in pain. It may not be obvious to anyone else, but it's probably obvious to her, and he's probably going to get a scolding later about doing things while wounded. Sigh. What's a knight to do?

"I had not yet had the opportunity to see Ivalice, but it is a beautiful land. And it is not unlike Camelot, in some regards." His voice is gentle, almost womanish in its soft inflections; easily missed if one weren't specifically listening to him. He reaches up, absently tugging at the redstone stud in his left ear -- the other one seems to be missing -- and considers the table with a bit of a frown.

It's still strange that tea is such a readily available commodity, but he won't snub his host. He takes his own cup, holding it delicately in spite of his plated gauntlets. Those violet eyes settle on Faruja again, calm. "Still, I am familiar with danger on all sides. If there is aught we can do to aid you, Sir Senra, you need only ask."
Allyn Allyn smiles to Faruja, "Sorry to surprise you in such a way, I wanted to stop by and make sure this got to you, for a job I helped with the other day clearing out some undead. I don't have any use for these bits of metal, or whatever they are." he sets a small bag of coins on Faruja's desk. "I thought they could be used to help those in need here in Ivalice."

He bows to Saber and gives her a smile in return, "It is good to see you again as well my lady. I hope that you have been well. I am sorry that I did not get to say hello at the party, but I was distracted talking with a dragon." he chuckles.
He bows to Bedivere as well, "Sir Bedivere, hope that you are well." though it seems that he isn't, but then again Allyn has seen a little trouble lately as well, so understandable.

He grins to Auron, "I see you took the chance to sneak away too?" he chuckles and shrugs some, "I think they will be alright without us for a few hours at least though. You didn't happen to bring any creatures in your coat this time?"
Auron     Auron nods his head once, slowly, in acknowledgement as Faruja speaks. "I was," in response to the question of being treated well upon arrival. And when Faruja mentions Ivalice being a hornet's nest, he smirks. "It is," he replies. He'll help with arranging and fetching chairs, actually. He's able-bodied and someone's injured. And Faruja's obviously been working too hard. However, he doesn't chastise Faruja for it. He'd be a hypocrite if he did.

Once he's seated, he too is accepting of the tea. And he nods to Bedivere's statement. He further notes, "I've heard that Cleyra was attacked and there are refugees. Guadosalam, in Spira, is abandoned; the Guado have disappeared. If you need a place for your refugees, I doubt anyone would complain if they stayed there, temporarily or permanently."

He smirks at Allyn's comment. "Not today," he answers. "I made sure they're all out before leaving." Small animals preferring to nest in his coat might be something he ought to worry about, but he doesn't seem too worried. He's not wearing that coat at the moment though; perhaps that's why he's not worried.
Saber      Allyn was awarded a soft chuckle."Ah, yes. The dragon had been rather unexpected, but not unwelcome. It has been quite some time since I have seen one of their kind."

Saber greeted Auron in turn with a nod/bow. "Greetings, Air Auron. I hope that you have been well."

She suppressed a sigh at Farujah, but smiled. At least he was taking something of a break now. "Indeed. Your hospitality has been most generous."

She seated herself in the chair she was offered, but not before casting a meaningful glance her companion. King and knight still maintained a certain degree of protocol, so she was not exactly able to fuss over the battered knight in public, even if the Servant worried over him silently. he wouldn't be getting another lecture anytime soon, but given the embarrassment he would be undergoing later it might have been preferable.

"Yes, I have heard similar such things," she admitted, recalling many of Agrias's frequent troubles and the stress it had put the holy knight under.
Sir Bedivere   The Knight of the Round sits stiffly in his chair, partly because it is presumably the formal high-backed affair nobility prefer, and partly because it's just in his nature to sit up straight. If he's in pain, he hides it reasonably well, sipping at his tea and regarding the others through half-lidded eyes.

Watching, listening, observing; these are some of his favourite things! Actually, it's just ingrained skill. That was, in part, his job as Marshal of the Realm. If he sensed any undercurrents of unrest, the matter was immediately passed on to the tiny king seated beside him.

No such thing here, today, though.

Actually, he seems a little uncomfortable in social situations when he's not strictly playing the part of the silent guardsman.

"A dragon?" That certainly gets his attention, and he arches a brow. "Interesting. And I am well, indeed, Sir Allyn." Liar. "I have not seen you in some time. You have been well, I hope? My apologies for not checking in with you. I had a rather unfortunate run-in with Lady Songsteel of the Confederacy," he adds, blandly.

Yep. Unfortuante run-in. Whereupon the good knight was spitted like a Christmas roast. He's doing pretty well considering he had a hole in his side, and enough bruising to give even him pause. Sometimes plate mail sucks, but he'll take horrific bruising over being chopped in two any day of the week, thanks.

He exhales slowly, silent enough that only those immediately near him -- probably Saber -- might hear. Yeah, he's in pain. "As I said, Sir Senra, we are willing to offer our assistance, if such is required. Perhaps there may not be much to be done for the root cause, but relief efforts..." Ah, that's always a noble cause. "We are more than willing to do such for the sake of your Ivalice."
Faruja The rat happily takes the hospitality help. It's hardly a formal occasion, this one, and so he's forgone servants for friends. There's a small bow to Bedivere as he handles the seat for Saber and himself, hardly one to get in the way of a Knight properly Knight'ing. When they're all again settled, he gives Allyn a warm-if surprised-chuckle.

"My dear Ser Allyn, ye art a generous man indeed, to offer such hard-fought coin! However..." He starts gently. "'Tis known as gil, mine friend. The local currency. Ye art familiar with currency and the concept of trade? While charity is a most blessed thing, done in ignorance, 'tis as good as theft. And I am nay thief." Still, the rat approaches the shapeshifter. Only once he's sure that Allyn gets it does he take the coin, already knowing just where it's going given recent news. In return, there's an envelope passed over.

"Good timing at any rate. Open it later, hmm?" With that, the rat moves back to his seat.

The poor knight hardly insults the rat, instead being met by a warm smile mixed with concern. Being a priest in addition to his other titles gives him much leeway in acting, particularly in his own domain. The cold, aloof priest has hardly been the Burmecian's way.

"As well as can be. The Marshal of Dame Saber is ever welcome in mine home, mine office, and in Mullonde. Or teaching a few squires about this place a few things." Grin. Lighten the mood with humor rat.

He grows serious, however, his gaze snapping back to Auron. A grip on his cane might make it seem as if he's about to jolt out of his chair in offense. To live in /Spira/, next to the Church of Yevon? He closes his eye, and takes a deep breath, strangling the cry of outrage. It's /Auron/. There's no ulterier motives here. Ivalice can get to a man.

"Ye all art trustworthy souls. Therefore, I shall be open. Easy with tongue, hmm, lest words reach mine people's enemies?" He says meaningfully, gazing at each and every one of them.

"'Tis a generous offer, and I see much to be gained in it, Ser Auron. However, they hath already lost their home. Many? Twice so. I wouldst prefer seeing them remain within Ivalice. Of course, ye speak truly. There art refugees. Many refugees. I intend to speak with Marquis Elmdore of Limberry, a fellow Inquisitor of the Church. It...shall be difficult, however, he is a noble that many of mine fellow low-borne respect highly. A rare thing in these times. He may well see the need with faith and compassion. Provided his own people's plight doth not outweight them." There's a small sigh here. The entirety of Ivalice is hurting, and he couldn't exactly blame the Marquis if he denied the rat's request in full or part.

Rather than give into fear and depression, the rat straightens. He has to have faith.

"However, please, send me all details that ye hath of this place, Ser Auron. Should diplomacy fail, I shall see about making them a temporary home there." The rat might not enjoy the thought of having to deal with the Yevonites, but at least the Cleyran's presence there might seed an Ajoran faith. The more calculating part of him likes the idea.

A glance to Saber and Bedivere. "Ivalice hath many troubles. The Corpse Brigade and other rebel groups and the local nobles fued as ever over grievances done them. The Alexandrian war machine hath all but destroyed mine people's legacy, and nay doubt shall seek Lindblum next. Archadia presses Ivalician borders hungrily, and the outlying nations fare little better. Cults aplenty spring forth, threatening the Holy Church and the faithful daily, as well as...darker things." He goes quiet there.

A nod. "There art several temporary camps made, particularly within Lindblum. As staunch allies as they art, they cannot hold the population of two cities, even /after/ losses. Anything ye can offer, be it aide to the sick and injured, comfort, protection from the sorts that oft hound such camps...or just advice." The rat shakes his head. At times like these, he feels so small and powerless.
Allyn Allyn chuckles at Auron and finally takes a seat himself. "Oh well, you might have one sitting on your shoulder when it's time for us to go back." he snickers. Yeah, why should he fly, or run when there will be a shoulder to perch on.

He nods to Saber and smiles, "The dragon Arokh was an interesting being to talk to."

He nods to Bedivere, "Yes, there was a dragon at the party you and the lady had a little while ago, his rider was there as well, she is interesting as well." he ponders and nods, "I've been well enough, well besides getting my fur singed and hurt the other day. I was wandering and came across the dragon Arokh and his rider Rynn in their world. TA couple of villages and a town were under attack by things? I don't know what they were something calling themselves Bergs? Borgs?" he shrugs, "Well, what they were are beyond me, but their weapons bite."

He smiles to Faruja and blushes a little, "Yes, I know of currency and trade, but honestly I do not have a need for currency and I thought that you would have a better idea of how to distribute it, to where it is needed the most." he takes the envelope though and eyes it for a few moments and then nods, "I will open it later, as you say." he grins.
Saber      Saber nodded as Allyn commented on their draconian visitor and the rider. "A most skilled rider, indeed, if she is able to ride a dragon. They are sacred, powerful beings in my kingdom; one of which guards the country and my family personally. We honour him through our family's arms."

The priest was awarded a faint but warm smile at his light-hearted remark.

When it came to how the Marshal of Camelot was holding up, however, Saber was not a happy camper. While he could obviously not taken the painkillers which had so effectively knocked him out, at least the milder ones should have eased the pain. This time, she allowed a slight frown to mar her features; if he simply hadn't taken the weaker painkillers as she had insisted, that would have simply earned A Lecture. Bu if the weaker painkillers weren't working, then he was in even worse shape. Which...might also earn A Lecture as he hadn't said anything beforehand.

But instead of activating fussy mode, she simply put back on the stoic mask and agreed on the point of relief efforts, listening to Faruja's accounting with care. "Indeed. Moreover, I have a dear friend from that kingdom; I would be more than honoured to assist in any way I can to alleviate the suffering of the people." king and knight were of one mind on that much, at least.
Auron     "I have," Auron notes in response to Saber's words. "And you? A dragon, you say?" He was with a group that was apparently chasing a man who was chasing one. He sends a look to Allyn. Then back to Saber. "Was it in Ivalice? Or outside?"

He quiets when Bedivere begins to speak again, and nods once more, in silent agreement. And Faruja's statement? If Auron notes the near-shriek of rage, he says nothing. And he nods to the explanation. "That is understandable," he notes quietly. "It would be their choice. I wouldn't force them out of Ivalice. Not having a true 'home' anymore, I suppose it's difficult for me to remember the feeling of losing home. But the offer is open." He offers a polite smile. "I'll do that at the next available opportunity. There should be some details in the Union databases about the place, too."

He listens quietly, sipping at his tea, as Faruja speaks of the troubles in Ivalice. "Perhaps we can help out somewhat in the days to come," Auron offers. People stalking the camps? He can bash heads pretty well!
Sir Bedivere   The Marshal of Camelot cocks his head faintly as he listens to the shapeshifter's explanation. While he had taken dim note of a shadow overhead, he had been too occupied with being bounced between a devious bard and a nogitsune and the King of Knights to pay it much mind. In all, it was probably lucky that he'd noticed Arokh's presence at all.

"I fear I was otherwise occupied at the time," Bedivere says instead, blandly. Yes, blandly. He'd rather not think about the evening. The gathering itself had been horrifically embarrassing on so many levels... most of which involved Kagenashi and Psalm being devious little--

  Ahem. Chivalrous thoughts.

Taking a sip of tea to calm himself, Bedivere thins his lips at the mention of the Borg. Apparently the term isn't familiar to him, either. He doesn't seem to show any recognition over it. "I see. Noble of you to go to their defense, in any case. Good man." He dips his head as though in acknowledgement. It's always heartening to see chivalry spreading. Especially in a wild-man who knows naught of knights! If somebody like Allyn can uphold such virtues, anybody can.

Then again, as Saber has said before, and as he has echoed, knighthood isn't just about strength of arm or mindset, and need not require a formal knighting ceremony. It is, just as much as the other things, a state of mind... and one that's heartening to see reflected elsewehre in the Multiverse.

For now, though, he's content to sip at his tea (so delicious! why had he never experienced such a thing? oh, right, because his brothers of the Round Table described him as "stick-in-the-mud"), and listen to the conversation; ever the quiet observer.

Bedivere stoically ignores Arturia's worried look. Oh, yes, he saw it...

  ...sigh...
Faruja Faruja looks a little relieved. The coin is taken, and stowed away in a convenient filing cabinet. It rather pointedly says 'Relief Efforts". "The Lord blesses the kind, Ser Allyn!" Priest smile!

Faruja stands, and bows once more. "Dame Saber, ye hath mine gratitude, and mine debt. I shan't forget this kindness." His gaze turns to each in turn, particularly stopping upon Auron.

"And thyself in particular, Ser Auron. I shan't forget this. None of ye." The rat turns about, discretely wiping away a tear. That all of these people would care for his own, ones that few seem to remember exist at times in Ivalice, touches the rat. When did he come to deserve such good companions?

By the time he turns about, he's composed.

"Quite. The remaining soldiers and what the Regent can provide hath created a militia, however, craven deserters upon both sides of the conflict, brigands, and monsters aplenty lurk. Ye hath mine full authorization to do as ye must. I shall contact the local authorities."

Then, the rat smiles. "However, I hath not brought ye all to bemoan mine problems. Come, how fare ye all and thine own charges, hmm?" Turns the rat to the others.
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa was shown in by a yong female squire whom she thanked before she entered in looking at the place. She wasn't new to the multiverse? It's still strange to see something that could have come out of your past however. She keeps quite as she walks in taking in those in the office for a moment the floor creeks more than it should do to her size and anyone with a good sense of smell? She'd not smell human.

"Hello I wasn't expecing a small party here Faruja..."

Kotone looks over each other guest in turn seemingly happily enough.
Allyn Allyn shakes his head at Auron at the look he's given by the man, "Not the same one. Rynn and her dragon Arokh are members of the Union I believe." he's still not convinced that what he, Auron and the others are looking for actually is a dragon, but he doesn't mention that suspicion here.

He looks over as Kotone enters and gives her a smile and wave, "Good to see you again."
Saber      This might take a little bit of exposition for Auron."Ah, I had hosted a gathering of a sort, and a dragon and rider visited out of curiosity. Regretfully, I was unable to speak with them for long..." Primarily because of the insanity she and her beleaguered knight had been suddenly thrust into. Arturia barely had enough time to say two words to Karian before being dragged off again by way of the plottings of nogitsune and bard.

With a contemplative, grateful sip of tea, she turned her attention back to the current dilemma of Ivalice even as her eyes shifted occasionally to the long-suffering Marshal of Camelot. "From this I gather they are in need of reinforcements," Saber observed. "With regards to the people are capable of providing common relief, but I would also be most willing to lend my sword as a knight, as well."

"It would seem that everyone has been keeping busy," she similarly observed with a smile as she set her cup down briefly. "It is a pleasure to see the many forms chivalry takes, amongst many people."

At Kotone's entrance, she is given a polite nod/bow, though she remained seated; standing would have meant Bedivere would stand as well, and she wanted him sitting down and not moving lest the pain become even worse. "Greetings."
Sir Bedivere   The silver-haired knight seems content to say nothing about his own troubles, instead cocking an eye toward Faruja as the Inquisitor momentarily loses his composoure at such generosity.

"I would be remiss, as a Knight of the Round Table, if I did not offer help when it is within my power to give." His voice is soft, but his tone is firm and confident. "As for that, if it is instruction your soldiers need, I offer that gladly. If you require the local highwaymen to be dealt with, I shall not complain at such a duty, either."

Peacefully, of course, if Saber has any suspicions. It isn't like him to go stick a sword in somebody without damned good reason.

Bedivere seems to consider something for a long moment, finally letting out a long, quiet sigh. And then wincing, likely to Saber's consternation.

He inclines his head, grimacing slightly. "However, I... beg your pardon. I must take my leave. I... am still wounded."

The silver-haired knight dips his head conspirationally, leaning slightly in Saber's direction. "Ah, but please, my king, stay as you please," he adds, under his breath. "Do not leave on my account."

O, Pride, it hurts to even admit he's wounded, but he can feel himself fading, and he'd rather not do anything horrifically embarrassing like fall asleep at the table. Or start bleeding through his armour. That might freak people out.

He offers a slightly forced-looking smile as he pushes himself to his feet, gripping the back of his chair to steady himself. "God keep you all. Ah, and Lord smile upon thee, Sir Senra! I wish you continued success in your endeavours. Please, contact me another time. I should like to discuss Ivalice in more detail. I fear that today, however, is not the proper time." Politely, he inclines his head. "Please excuse me."

And with that, provided he isn't stopped, the knight stiffly makes his way back to the door, one arm lowering to hold to his side in a way that suggests Yeah That Kinda Hurts Like Hell.

Hopefully he can slip out without Saber tagging along. He'd hate for her to abandon the gathering just on account of him... and it would also mean ducking out of A Lecture, at least for a little while.
Auron     "You're quite welcome," Auron replies to Faruja's thanks. He smiles. "The place is empty anyway, and if someone doesn't see to it, it'll fall, and block travel between the Thunder Plains and the Moonflow. The tree has already started to die." Yes, Guadosalam is a giant tree. Sound familiar?

Allyn's explanation gets a nod. "I see. I think I've heard her voice on the Union band," he notes. Saber's explanation calls his attention, and he offers a thoughtful 'hmm'. "I think I remember that." He may or may not have been there, being a wallflower/shadow presence. He does that a lot.

A polite nod of greeting and smile to Kotone. "Hello." And as Bedivere makes to leave, Auron offers, "Take care of yourself, Sir Bedivere." Looking to Saber, since he knows Bedivere would refuse immediately, "If necessary I can ask a Summoner ally of mine to see to Sir Bedivere. They're capable of quite strong healing." Yes, he totally did say 'Summoner'. It's hardly the time to go into a long discussion about it here, though.
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa looks over to Allyn a smile sa little bit more. She looks to Saber smiling a little bit.

"Hello to you as well miss."

No she has no idea of just whom she's talking too. Sir Bedivere gets a look of concern out of Kotone as shw onders how badly off he is given his mention of being wounded.

"Take care of your self sir..."

She looks over to Allyn and Auraon smiling a bit at them as she looks the man over for a moment longer.

"Summoner as in magic?"
Saber      Faruja is awarded a small, but warm smile. "It is merely the duty of a knight," she replied. "My own friendships aside, my purpose is to serve any in need."

Bedivere was as proper and considerate as always, but her first duty above all else was to her friends and the knights under her command. In this case, both.

However, conscious of his pride, she merely rose herself, with a small smile. "I thank you again for your gracious hospitality," she said to the Inquisitor before turning to the others. "And it was good to see all of you again. However, I fear I must take my leave, as well. There are other immediate matters to which I must atend..." Some of which may or may not involve a certain injured marshal.

With a proper bow, she followed Bedivere, though he needn't worry about A Lecture, nor about compromising his dignity until their return.
Allyn Allyn blushes some when Kotone smiles at him and he stands and finds a chair for her, "Wont you have a seat? We're jsut relaxing a bit I think." he grins.

He nods to Auron's response and chuckles some, "They are good people I think though, well good person and dragon." of course he's more comfortable with beings like that and not so much with those who are more technology based, with a few exceptions.

He bows to Saber and Bedivere, "Safe travels and hopefully we can all get together again sometime. Maybe once we're not all so busy." he chuckles at that.
Faruja Saber's words get a nod. "Quite. Ivalice yet recovers from the Fifty Years War. Moreover, with the current weakness of the crown, the Orders of the Southern and Northern Skies quarral over succession. Hardly a shortage of problems. Blade and kindness alike art both needed."

And Bedivere as well. Were it proper, he'd hug the pair right about now. Instead, there's another bow.

"And to thee, Ser Bedivere. Recover well, good Ser, I welcome ye both by blade and kindness alike." He doesn't even tease the poor man. Saber's got that covered.

"go with Faram."

Kotone enters, and the rat laughs. "A 'party'. My, it hath turned out to be so! Welcome, welcome. Sit, please, 'tis good to see ye."

The rat stifles a yawn. Is his head dipping?

Squeaksnort! "Y..yes, quite. Ahem. The Cleyrans art quite adept at such maintenance." The more he hears, the more he likes. Even /if/ his gambit with the good Marquis should pass, he may well give his companions a choice.

Faruja perks up. "The Lady fares well, then?" He remembers his little talk with the man, and a certain Summoner. He really needs to meet her one day.
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa thinks Faruja's world is fortnatge for it's military technology to be behind her own. a 50 years war in her world woudl leave naught but ash when all was said and done as she thinks about it for a moment longer. She accepts the offer to sit anf smiles.

"Thank you."

she moves to sit down and seems to be careful as she does so.

"So this sounds like there's some things going on here and are you all right Allyn?"
Faruja The rat stands, getting the woman some tea and scones!

"Merely a small gathering to discuss recent events; mine peoples sister city, Cleyra, hath fallen, and we art attempting to find solutions to relocation. Ser Auron hath offered an abandoned city similar to the Cleyrans' own in his home world. In the meantime, there art wandering deserters and brigands, as well as monsters that threaten the temporary refugee camps that the Lindblum soldiers cannot fully protect." States the rat, bringing her up to speed.
Allyn Allyn smiles to Faruja as it seems the ratman is sleepy. "You should get some rest Faruja, you are falling asleep it looks like." he grins a little teasing his friend. "We can all watch over you, if you like."

He nods to Kotone and smiles, "I am doing alright Kotone. Ran into those things we saw when I first saw you.. those strange knight looking people? They were attacking another place though.. You know those things that we saw in that village with the skeleton people and other things?" he shrugs some, "How are you? It is good to see you again."
Auron     Auron smiles at sleepyrat. And he nods. "As far as I know, she is," he notes. "I don't spend much time in Spira anymore." Faruja will know why; he probably won't have to go into details unless someone else asks. He quiets when Kotone asks after Allyn's health and the situations involved.
Faruja Here, Faruja outright blushes as Allyn teases him. Auron's smile doesn't help! Ahem'ing, the rat finally relents.

"It seems ye art wiser than myself, dear Ser Allyn." Auron gets a knowing nod. Mental note, visit Spira, find her, drag her to Ivalice to meet Auron if he has to do it with her kicking and screaming.

A sigh. He stands, and bows. "Sers, M'Lady, it seems I aught rest lest ye lot tie me up and throw me into bed. Thank ye all for coming, feel free to linger. If ye need aught, one of mine servants shall attend thee. Lord's blessings upon thee all." And with that, the rat is off to bed.
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa acceps the scones and tea, but she does not devour them at a very high psace she looks back to Allyn now and smiles a bit.

"Humm which place was that and it's been a while on that but I think I recall now. Sorry it took me a moment to place it, I been busy a lot lately. Lot of things to repair, matches to accounce, promos to do for Meditech..."
Allyn Allyn waves to Faruja as he leaves and grins. "See you later Faruja." he looks to Auron, "He works too much doesn't he?" he ponders, "But I guess it is to be expected."

He nods to Kotone, "Well, we didn't really know each other then and I do not think that we even talked there." he chuckles some, "It was the first time I'd seen you though."
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa Says "We were pretty tied up during that whole mess I got to admit. He does work too much he's going to burn himself out. Most worlds? You only ever get one body and should take care of it."

She takes a sip of the tea or a moment while she mills something over from the look on her face.
Allyn Allyn nods to Kotone and smiles, "Well, I didn't really know anyone back then either and I wasn't really all that friendly then either. i guess I was a bit overwhelmed at the time, but I know people now and things are better."

He shrugs and sips at his tea as well and tilts his head at Kotone as he watches her, "What's on your mind?" he asks curiously.
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa Says "I know how that can get Allyn. A lot pf people here can be hard to approach. I'm just thinking about some personal stuff, work and likely an appointment with a doctor later this week to check up on how I'm adapting to certain things."
Allyn Allyn nods as he listens to Kotone and frowns a little, "doctor? Is that like a healer" he looks her over for a few moments, "You aren't injured somewhere are you? You do not look like you are anyway." he frowns again a moment and then asks anyway since he's wondered and just never found the words to ask. "adapting to things? Oh you're not human, are you? I know you smell different when I'm in one of my forms."

He shrugs some, "But that's not really important. I'm not human either. I gave being human up years ago."
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa says "Yes a doctor and I was injured some time ago."

At the calling her not human there's a distressed look on her face for a moment.

"No I am human, just the majority of my body is prosethic, you seen how some people may have some sort of peg leg if they lose part of their leg so they can walk? It's like that but with the majority of my body. There's almost none of my oirginal body left to me."
Allyn Allyn nods and he frowns a moment, "I am sorry if I said something I shouldn't have.. I'm just an animal though, so I don't know too many things. I guess I am dumb." he shakes his head some, "Well, I am glad you're my friend, at least I think you are."
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa Says "No it's just something hard for me to come to terms with Allyn. It was not pretty how it happened. I also you can't be dumb your able to talk. Yes we are friend why would we not be Allyn, right? I admit I was a little concned what you might think of my actual nature..."
Allyn Allyn shakes his head and smiles, "You shouldn't have been concerned about that. True, i don't like humans much, because where I came from anyone who was different than everyone else, even if it was a false rumor was hunted down and killed as soon as possible. Only humans could do something that cruel."

He shrugs some, "I just think that it's better to not consider myself human anymore, because being human is bad. You do not seem bad though and I prefer people who aren't really human I think. Maybe if I'd feel different if i didn't think that way, but I don't think anything is wrong with the way you are."
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa says "Humans do not have a monoploy on crulty I'm afraid. Animels can be just as bad, really a lot of people forget humans are still such as much as we don't like to think about it. Still we should fofucs on better things I think. My world has a lot of people doing this without ... the medical need the line between man and machine is starting to blurr and vanish really."
Allyn Allyn nosd and smiles, "Yes, animals may be cruel, but we don't do it out of fear, anger, or anything like that. It is just that nature can be cruel, just as it can be gentle." he bliks and then nods as she explains a bit more. "man and machine? What is a machine? and why would someone willingly wish to become one? Though if i understand what you are saying, sometimes there isn't a choice?"
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa says "I don't either in my cause it was because my body ... was ruined by an act of violence and I would be crippled at best afterwards. IF you don't understand I won't press on the subject. It wouldn't be fair, if I think of a good way to explain it I'll do that. I have a different view on nature."
Allyn Allyn smiles and nods and then has to chuckle a little, "Well, I guess that makes us odd friends then, but still friends so not everything can be so abd." he grins. "We should talk about better things though. What do you like to do for fun?"
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa says "Used to swim , I cany anymore I sink like a stone I'm afraid, I'd also go cycling about the coastal area I grew up in, that region was still pretty untouched by things it was nice to explore when I could get out there."
