Fayt Ravus     Fayt mentioned on Radio that he's set up to run a little experiment, and even called on radio for anyone who wants to see it. With that in mind. The lab at Castle Ravus has been rearranged slightly. tables have been moved aside to make a space in the middle of the room, where a metal plate has been placed down. Near it on a small table sits a small pile of tennis balls, one of which is faintly glowing, along with oddly enough, a rock. Fayt stands near the table, calmly waiting to see if anyone showes up.
Evangeline      Evangeline doesn't particularly care for labs after her experience inside one, but Fayt seemed nice so she came over to help him. Soon after Fayt's invite, the soft metallic whisper of Evangeline in flight reaches his ears before she floats through the door. She stops just inside the door, then raises a sleeve-arm to wave to him before she floats over to him. "...Hello Fayt...what are you doing...?"
Fayt Ravus     Fayt's 'lab' is...

Well, it's a fairly large room lined with series of tables, covered in all sorts of random stuff In all honestly it looks more like someone's (very) poorly kept garage. The only stand out thing about it being a series of what appears to be wooden panels set in hte walls of the room, all glowing a soft white.

Fayt picks his head up as he hears Evangeline. "Hmm. Ah! Hello. I'm about to run a little experiment on transfering enchantments. You can come in if you want to see it."
Evangeline      Evangeline nods her head lightly before she floats down near Fayt. "...do you need any assistance...?" she asks, looking over the pile of tennis balls and the rock. She pauses as she sees the rock, then stares a bit. "...why do you have only one rock..?" she asks as she stares at it, her head tilted slightly in curiousity.
Fayt Ravus     "THe rock?" Fayt idly picks it up. "Alright, so what I did was enchant a tennis ball..." he picks up the glowing one in his other hand. "to pass along an enchantment when it hits something. Namely, I tried to make it pass along it's ability to bounce. So take this metal plate on the floor, as you can see it's a normal plate, nothing's been done to it, here.." He idly holds the rock over it and lets go, There's a clang as it hits the plate, causing Fayt to wince. "Hmm... maybe should of used something a little quitier. Sorry about that."
Evangeline      Evangeline is quiet for a few moments after the clang. Then, she slowly looks over at Fayt. "...the plate and rock did not bounce much..." she says, then slowly turns her head to look down at the plate and rock. "...it is alright...loud noises do not bother me..." she says, then she leans forward and her fingers extend from her sleeve-like arm to pick up the rock. "...now...the tennis ball..."
Fayt Ravus     "Right!" Fayt smiles "So, I COULD jsut enchant hte plate directly, but what I'm working on here is a way ot enchant things remotely, in this case I just tag it with the ball..." He holds the ball out and drops it over the plate, a few multicolored sparks fly from where the ball impacts the plate, before it bounces away towards a corner of the room. "If it all worked properly, then we should be able to bounce that rock off this plate now."
Evangeline      Evangeline watches the ball fall, then flinches at the sparks. She pauses a moment as the ball bounces away and Fayt explains, then she straightens up again and looks over at the rock in her hand. She headtilts slightly, then holds the rock out carefully and drops it toward the plate. "...bounce..." she says, as if trying to encourage the experiment to work, but with her monotone voice the inflection isn't really there.
Fayt Ravus     There's a loud clang as the rock hits the plate... and just sits there. for several moments, Fayt just stands there, staring down at the plate, not moving much. Right as the silence is about to get unbareable, Fayt speaks up. "I think I made a mistake somewhere, That's odd, I thought I got the enchantment right..." Carefully he leans down to inspect the plate. at the same time, the tennis ball from early bounces along behind him, letting out a few sparks with eaach bounce as it heads towards the other end of the room.
Evangeline      Evangeline slowly raises an arm and scratches her head gently as the rock does not bounce. Then, she turns her head to look at the ball bouncing along with the sparks still flying from it. She headtilts slightly, then floats after it. "...the ball...it is still bouncing...and sparking..." she says softly as she follows it.
Fayt Ravus     Fayt idly pokes at the plate a few times, actually grapping hte rock and dropping it meer centimeters over the plate for good measure. "Could of swornd I had everything right... huh?" he picks he head up to look at Evangeline, right as the ball bounces back to the other side of the room, Moments later it heads back the other way AGAIN, this time catching Fayt's attention as he watches it disappear under a table. "What the..."

Also sstrange, the ball seems to be picking up speed as it keeps bouncing along, odd.
Evangeline      Evangeline follows the ball about the room, gaining speed as it does. She starts to reach out for it, floating down lower. She almost has it when...bonk! She flies into that table which the ball bounced under. She bounces away herself, arching and flipping through the air a couple of times until she can stabilize herself. "...it...keeps bouncing...but...a regular ball stops bouncing after a few bounces..." she says as she floats toward the table again, about to peek under it.
Fayt Ravus "h-hey! you alright there?" Fayt stands up, walking over towards the table and kneeling down a few feet away to glance under it. "The enchantment should only go off the first time it hits something, and even then it should be what it hits, this sounds like it's re-enchanting itself..." The ball meanwhile, gets stuck bouncing between the underside of the table and the floor, sparks flying everywhere as all the impacts allow it to rapidly speeds up.
Evangeline      Evangeline leans over the top of the table to peek underneath, her head ending up upside down right beside Fayt's head. "...a ball...that will never stop bouncing..." she says softly, then looks over at Fayt. "...that is impressive...but eventually it will gain so much momentum that it will become dangerous...we must stop it..." she says, then she holds a sleeve-like arm toward the tennis ball. The tip of her arm starts to glow red.
Fayt Ravus     Fayt, in typical Fayt fashion, leans away from Evangeline slighly as her head approaches his. This turns out to be a good thing, as the ball finally hits something hiding under the table, and very quickly shoots through the area where Fayt's head was moments ago. "GAH!" The ball loudly SLAMS into the opposite wall, quickly rushing back towards them!
Evangeline      Evangeline reacts in a split second as the ball rushes by then back toward them. As it flies back, a powerful beam of sinister-looking red energy surrounds it, and the ball likely disintegrates. Of course, the beam is a little powerful for handling a tennis ball, so Fayt may end up with a hole in his wall. After the beam is fired, Evangeline looks over at Fayt. "...are you alright..?"
Fayt Ravus     Fayt turns around just in time to see the ball get zapped, along with the wll behind it, He lets out a small sigh. "I appanretly need to work out a few bugs." he turns to look over at Evangeline. "Hmm? Yeah, I'm fine, though it's back to the drawing board with this idea I guess.""
Evangeline      Evangeline reaches out slowly to pat Fayt on the head gently, then shakes her head. "...even though it did not do what you wanted...it was impressive...I imagine a spell like that would have a lot of uses..." she says, then looks toward the hole in the wall. She looks down, as if ashamed. "...I am sorry...about your wall..." she says.
Fayt Ravus     Fayt looks like a little embaressed as Evangeline pats him on the head. "Um... d-don't worry about the wall, I can fix that easily enough, dealing with the ball was more important. T-thanks for stopping it, by the way."
Evangeline      Evangeline just nods her head gently as she is thanked. "...you are welcome...I could not let you get hurt...allies are important, and should protect each other..." she says, then she looks at the stack of balls still on the table. "...were you hoping to repeat the experiment..?" she asks before floating back over toward that table.
Fayt Ravus     Fayt moves over to the pile. "Well, I only enchanted the one so far. After what happened he..." he forwns. "I'll have to spend some time going back over my notes, try to figure out why it did that. Might take awhile."
Evangeline      Evangeline floats around the table, then nods. "...I'm sorry it did not work...I am sure your next try will be better..." she says, then she pauses and just floats there. Though she is perfectly still, it is clear she is unsure of what to do now.
Fayt Ravus     "Thanks." He sighs. "Anyway I think that's it for the moment. I'll have to go over y notes and call someone down to help with the wall. You can go if you want. Sorry it didn't quite work out, thanks for stopping by though."
Evangeline      Evangeline nods again, then is still a moment before she floats toward Fayt and...wraps her arms around him gently in a careful hug. "...do not work too hard..." she says, then she floats back toward the door, spinning slowly through the air once before disappearing through it.
