Kotone Yamakawa Things just kept getting worse, someone or someones had done horrible things to Miho's mind. Her employer was dirty or a large portion of it was dirty it was hard to tell at this point. Worse there'd been huma trafficing involved and they'd found the source of it thanks to Alexis Maaka. She'd tracked down the location of the trafficers and had confirmed their location before pulling out. This was going to need help also they would have to be careful there were a lot of civilians either unaware or had been long treatened by Russian Mobsters who ran this operation. IT had been clear they'd teched up hard for the world and were pros at this given human traficing still might get the attention of the local police. The cops dirty as they were would know if human trafficing happened under their noses? It would bring a lot of attention upon them all which would be bad for business for everyone here.

Bertarve was not a nice place as high tech and bustling as it was, it was a real slum and just abnout anything was forsakle and here Kotone was in her stealth suit but wearing a ttench coat to help hiding it.

<<Kotone here I'm ready and eying the place doesn't look like much but Alexis was right they likely kept it looking like scrap...Rory you got anything?>>
Corona Arclite In between her other duties and preparing for dealing with the Landviathan a very industrious Corona Arclite still was able to get some research done on that SMG she'd picked up back at the original encounter retrieving the not-quite-Miho. Which didn't turn up much directly on the gun itself, but did bring a few other things to light. Even without a serial number she couldn't find much to match it in this world, everything else was oddly enough lower quality, or some kind of garage kitbash. Not like the sleek weapon that with it's clean design and lack of visible seams almost looked like it had been crafted as one unified device rather in components pieced together.

It was very high quality and extremely ultra tech, even for this technologically advanced world. Something from otherworldly multiversal connections? Certainly seemed like it after that last raid.

All the same the weapon was still slung at her side on the shoulder strap she had affixed to it, while Corona was scoping out the site from her perch with a pair of binoculars. They looked like the old-fashioned kind that used lenses instead of imaging technology, but with the coglomeration of different lenses and gearworks to switch them she could get exceptionally detailed vision zooming them in.

<<The place is run down to avoid suspision,>> she murmured back. <<The Black Hats back home do the same thin' so no one realizes they're act'ally techn-thieves.>>
Alexis Maaka     [All the better to keep prying eyes away from their operation.] Alexis says over comms.

[I'm already inside. You are go for infiltration. We'll link up on the way.] Where is she? How is she in there?

Well, she snuck in disguised as some cargo. In a crate. Delivered by a truck.

Alexis Maaka is nothing if not creative, and she opens the crate from inside, taking a cautious look around as she takes in her new surroundings inside.
Rory White     Wearing the same sort of coat as Kotone, Rory's standing near her. High, HIGH overhead, a Saucer - coated in radar-baffling metamaterials, and nearly impossible to see with the naked eye as anything more than a circling bird - is scanning the world below using lidar and other penetrative methods to map building structures. Anything really weird and unshielded will be pretty obvious... and anything SHIELDED will be pretty SUSPICIOUS...

And tech capable of blocking HER scanners? Well, that's pretty rare.

Under the coat, she's wearing her typical armor, and one cannot doubt that she's come prepared with all kinds of gadgets and modifications ready.

    <<I'm scanning!>>
Starbound Flotilla     The Starbounders are here in full force this time, not just George. Though, of course, George is the one leading them today. Normally, the average protagonist in this situation would be being a bit reserved, but the Core Fleet has no such obligations. If they take a PR hit here, they'll just tank it.

They'll tank a lot of other things too. Because they've brought out some Durasteel armor. Moonfin, the fishman, is in elaborate full-body durasteel armor that looks like a powered cross between a diving suit and a samurai's armor, glowing cyan at the faceplate. Biteblade, the humanoid plant, is in durasteel plating with elaborately carved wood and bone ornaments over glowing powered components that glow an intense green. Pavo the bird-girl wears a pirate-aesthetic set of mesoamerican-style armor, with yellow bands of energized fabric linking the pieces and powering them. Albert the monkey-man is wearing elaborate dystopian commando armor reconstructed with a 'rebel spy' aesthetic: A sleeker faceplate, a slimmer form, and a more chaotic design that integrates thin, resilient plates of durasteel, and lines of bright white. George (just plain human) wears a set of futuristic EVA-combat and exploration armor in a suit that glows a gentle red at the faceplate. Seft, the robotic Flotilla member, is wearing full-on medieval knight armor with a soft energized blue glow below the plates on her body, and especially around the eyes. Each has a heavy industrial-yellow two-pronged plasma-cutter-like tool strapped to their side, a Matter Manipulator.

"Name a point and we'll slam our way in."
"Rapid deployment is prepared."
"I have teleportation systems readied, as a beast coiled to pounce."
"No sssneak thisss time for Core Fleet, we raid everything."

The Starbounders are going to beam right in to the most tactically optimal point that Rory's scans and Maaka's scouting can find with the least interference.
Staren     Staren arrives with Kotone, suited up in his armor.
Slavers. Staren's expression behind his visor is unpleasant. As far as he's concerned, slavers and anyone condoning their actions... their lives are forfeit.
    <<I'm here! So what's the plan?>>
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone was glad to not be alone here, given what they were likely to face. To be honest she was down right afraid of what they might find she's also doubly glad that Rory and her medical technology could be called on it would be pretty bad she suspected.

<<It's clever all right Corona.>>

Kotone was making ready to go in well somewhat she was also on spotty duty as she's already hooked herself into the tac net that Rory ha done. Several of her own drones are flitting about now at this point.

There wasn't much to hide from Rory's scanners these guys had good hardware for this world but nothing from the off world it looked like. There was a heavy duty power generator for one, electronic signatures that they'd been fully wired up also there'd been a few other things indicating a number of cyborgs of various levels of augmentation most of them looked combat grade of some sort also there were a cluster of human life signs in one portion of the building on it's lowest floor, actually under it it was in a network of tunnels under the building.

Maaka would be just in a box right? The Tuck had been yet to be unloaded it seems they were going to give the cargo a check first but hadn't got around to it just yet. Still it says a lot they are not blindly unloading it thankfully given the later hour? They were planning to do it in the morning. Alexis would have some time to snoop about most of the crate would be various black market items, cybernetics, several crated androids and even what looked like to be military hardware of some sort.

<<Rory get Alexis and myself a whatever blue prints you can scan up and to anyone else who can take it. Also We're going to need people to question, if we feed them to the police after? This will start getting much needed questions about what the hell is going on here. I'm just saying we need info and long term? Leaving some alive to one deliver a message and two to get the local law looking into things would be nice to stop this sort of shit.>>

Kotone isn't a happy lady to day as the Starbounders beam in everything is quiet the Russian mobsters are good yes, but they are not ready to get the attention of a group of Elites at all. Not experienced ones like this.

<<Maaka once you get in can you try to pop us a way in?>>
Alexis Maaka     [I'm on it.]

Alexis frowns behind her mask as she gently and carefully creeps inside the truck. Her movements are quiet and cautious, keeping from knocking something over as she takes a scan inside her ride.

She produces a laser cutting device, popping open some of the containers to take a peek inside each crate and snapping photos of the illegal goods. "Well, you boys have been busy." She murmurs under her breath, switching to night-vision as she reaches around to get good shots at a handful of neural-implants no doubt taken off of someone under sketchy circumstances.

When she has enough pictures, she closes the boxes up as well as possible before she opens the truck from inside, swapping her laser device for her Kama pistol, keeping the weapon close as she climbs out.

[Got a lot of ill-gotten goods alright, they're definitely pros at this.]
Kotone Yamakawa <<The Plan to secure any people they are holding at this point. Alexis you need to go in and reach them if you can and disable whatever defences we can. So once you get underway we can hit and act as a diversion for you, it should buy you time to reach them we're also going to have to work fast the level of fighting is likely going to draw the police.>>

<<Staren? Corona you'll need to use your contacts given Japan has an alliance with the Union on some level. Maybe you can use that to keep the heat off us and help deal with turning over any of these filth we take alive for information. I'm pretty sure they'd be happy to have these guys to grill for information.>>

<<Flotilla Core? Corona Staren? You guys are the main assault. While I and Rory act as tactical support, I will be stealth in after the main assault starts. Any questions?>>
Corona Arclite <Ah reckon it's a safe bet to notch gunrunnin' or whatever y'all call it 'round here on the list of dirty deeds, ayup.>

Corona folded up the binocs and stuffed them back in a pouch of her belt, then pull on her goggles in their place. Then pull her neckerchief up over the rest of her face, classic wild west bandit style. Just because she's clearly from offworld being a humanoid fox and all, doesn't mean she needs to be all visible facial features about it. Her vest was traded for a somewhat heavier jacket, but that was moreso for the additional pockets it provided her with, particularly a few small ones on the insides for some very specialized tools to be kept handy.

Once she's double-checked her stuff the vixen takes off, hopping across a few rooftops to get closer. <Copy that. We'll put some word in to the higher ups. And back home, just in case ome of the outlaw clans have gotten wind of the weapon dealin'. Flotilla folk, Staren? Hit 'em from the other directions. Make 'em scatter, wonder just what the bloody *bleep* is up.>

At the last ledge she jumps off, and fires one of her grapplers to the side of the target building and reeling herself in. The 'spurs' on her boots turn out to be idle for digging into the side and support herself as well.

Door? Who needs a door? From the other glove she ignites a Arclite Cutter, using the plasma torch to just start carving an opening for herself. <Rory, can ya get me a low-down on their power grid? Cuttin' the juice to a few areas will get 'em scrabblin' 'bout and distract em from you sneaky sorts.>
Rory White     <<I've investigated various laws and international ones. We are not authorized to be doing these kinds of investigations. That is no trouble for me because I am not a citizen of any nation on this world. It is trouble for you, Kotone. It may be that all we can do is rescue Miho and whoever else has fallen afoul of this project, blow the whistle on the thing through world-wide news to prevent coverups, and run. You will certainly face some kind of retribution otherwise, legal or not.>>

Nevertheless, Rory analyzes the data and provides it over the local Tacnet the moment she sorts out some of the typical noise and uses her pattern-matching software to attach identifying tags to various detected enemies. Cyborgs are being tagged possible enemies. The humans on the lowest level, hostages. Doors and corridors are being mapped out in greater detail until a proper tactical map is complete!

And now that the general scan is complete, the sensors home in on moving signals and other areas to fill in with more details and finer resolution where things are fuzzier.
Starbound Flotilla     The Starbounders draw their weapons. Biteblade and Pavo, particularly, draw a pair of POWER DAGGERS and a POWER CUTLASS, respectively, and charge in behind Corona with their enhanced agility, intent on breaching with her.

"Pavo, Biteblade, Arclight is breaching, follow immediately."
"Aye aye."
"We hunt!"
"Seft, stick with me and Star, let's blast these jerks ranged."
"Affirming. I understand. Staren, we will work with you."
"I will prowl with Albert, to strike with surprise if our allies require help."

George and Seft, meanwhile, draw a heavy plasma repeater and laser pistol, respectively, heading for the front door, where they intend to meet up with Staren. George tosses a little bandolier of stun and smoke grenades at Seft offhandedly, and then Seft swiftly kicks the door, hopefully busting it open, and tosses them both in after Staren gets here. They're not being particularly merciful right now. There's no demand to surrender. Between Rory White's medical technology and the resilience of cyberbrains, they have no reason not to immediately try to shoot anyone they encounter straight on center mass.

Meanwhile, Biteblade and Pavo will crash through the breach Corona just made, blades swinging and slicing. They're practically bouncing off the walls, with their shared high agility, making sure that Corona has some clear space, and trying to brutally dismember any traffickers in range. Biteblade, particularly, is looking for any non-cyborg flesh to pounce and messily devour, though that might be a bit too hopeful. They're going very loud to start out; they'll figure out things like power sabotage later.
Staren      Staren is surprised the door's umguarded. The core fleet breeches, then Staren steps in. His strategy is the same as the Flotilla's. High-power laser weapons supplemented with grenades and small, armor-piercing missiles. Cyberbrains aside, Staren doesn't particularly care if slaver lives are lost.
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa was serious when she said worry about it later, they were already cashed in, they knew about her and Miho. She was in a gunsight already was her family. She's got to focus on the mission at hand.

<<Pretty much...>>

How did her life come to this? Seriously how did her life come to this? She focuse on people who are suffering because of these people for lack of a better word. What makes her more angry are their clients who spurr them to /do/ this.

Corona cuts her way inside easily enough the Arclite cutter is more than able to cut theough what is civilian grade materials.

<<I know?! What should I do?! Leave the Japanese Police to handle this? Look we can be hired by the union looking into this Corona and Staren, right? Let's worry about it later.>>

The power grid here is the oldest tech in the place it's dating back to pre world war III so sometime in the 1980s from the looks of thing there could be a lot of issues Corona could cause with something that old.

The Flotilla moves in with the skill of a military unit or SWAT squd as the move in to breach. One of the thugs it caught totally off guard as the others bust their way in. A Thug is caught totally off guard and goes down in the inital attac the fury of the Starbounders, Staren and Corona are not to be deined .

<<All right I'm tracking movment you got thier attention. Alexis move you have your diversion it's on the lower level>>

The huge guy that Maaka saw the otehr day was not caught in the nital attack and it's clear the guy is full on cybrog as he takes a few hits but doesn't seem to react like a normal person of flesh would he lets out a bellow there's steam from his arm as a horribly wickeld tri blade founds out and he decends upon the Starbounder.

Another trafficer goes down in a heap fropm Biteblade and Pavo. Their attacks soon claim another but this one bleeds white blood, they are using androids too?!

Alexis would be able to make a bolt for the lower level as most of the response is heading up to the breaching points. Several security measures are coming on line however and Rory would pick up what seem to be turrets in a few locations as well, also several androids are powering up. This starts to paint why no one's been able to uproot them at least until today.
Corona Arclite Corona Arclite ducks down low as the fighting starts. While she's all for a good scrap, with Pavo and Biteblade having her back she can focus on other matters at hand. With one hand she pulls out her CPAD and flicks it open, collaberating Rory's info-feeds with it's own scanner. Which gets her to raise an eyebrow behind her goggles. Seriously? All the tech these punks were pushing around and they couldn't update -that-? No wonder they had to keep a generator dedicated to the place.

But a powergrid that old (from this world's perspective at least) meant it was likely there would be several juncture boxes between the levels and.. you know what, there's no time to be methodical about this.

Instead Corona draws her Breaker and extends it fully as she winds it back over her shoulder. Only to twist it in her hands so it's the pickaxe-like backhook that's aimed forward.

"It's lights out fer this operation!"

She swings to slam the hook into the wall, and the wiring likely run behind it. For an extra good measure she squeezes the release lever afterwards, and a discharge of plasma energy from the Breaker's pulsarium core is sent surging through the wall as well. Even if she didn't hit wiring directly -that- should still do some nasty work on whatever the discharge comes across.
Alexis Maaka     "Oh shit."

Alexis comes down the stairs only to find a horde of androids to greet her as she makes it to the lower levels. The androids are responded to with several High-Ex rounds, penetrating body armor and detonating inside of the droids. In her offhand, she produces an EMP grenade before tossing it at the feet of the androids, diving to take cover while she reloads her weapon.

[Found hard contact. I'm gonna be here a while, I think.]
Staren     These people are scum. Every one dead makes the world a better place.

Staren coldly and methodically makes the future brighter, one shot at a time.

There is a huge guy coming for the Starbounders. "You have invested so much in that body. In /protecting/ this business. You don't deserve a quick death. Luckily, I'm not doing this for /you/." Staren tries to maneuver to get a good shot. The body can be as tough as it likes, but just how much armor did they cram on that braincase? Staren holds his rifle in his left hand for the moment, and raises his right arm to let loose with the dual beam cannons, followed by an AP micro-missile.

Staren hopes that it will pierce enough armor before detonating to splatter the guy's brains.
Starbound Flotilla "Tracking more movement."
"Floran sssee. Ugh, robot."
"Aggressive. The hornet's nest has been kicked."
"Aye, time to bring out the smoke, mateys."
"The darkness is superior in its own way. Corona is disabling power; this should resolve the issue of the turrets, leaving not but the androids."
"That means cover the fox, you two up there."

Pavo and Biteblade immediately form up on Corona. They're taking a defensive position here; Biteblade's putting away her daggers in favor of a heavy mag-bow. With Pavo at short-range and Biteblade at long-range, the pair ought to be able to cover Corona long enough to let her shut down those turrets. Meanwhile, Staren, George, and Seft face down the heavy cyborg.

"Urgent. Behind me!"
"Ladies first."
Seft lets the blade skewer her metal form, suffering internal damage to immobilize the heavy cyborg, hopefully enough to let Staren get a headshot! Before the man can do more damage, Moonfin's suddenly dashing through the door, here to give backup! "Third Sea Hylotl Style: Sailors Dashed Upon Jagged Shores." With a single, outrageously stylish spinning sweep of his POWER KATANA, he tries to slide in elegantly and sever the cyborg's arm so that Seft won't suffer more further damage if this guy turns out to be boss-level resilient.
Rory White     As visual data's processed from Maaka's feeds, Rory's brigade of analysis AIs pick it apart in parallel. Each cyborg's analyzed through visual information alone, categorizing visible weapons and armor, identifying any unusual lumps under clothing and providing a theorized field of vision cone.

It's the kind of information one might get in a ridiculous first person shooter game with aimbots and other hacks, but in REALITY. Ammo trackers appear for weapons and update as shots are taken, firing arcs and bullet lines are hilighted. Being snuck up on sends up red flashes from the right, left, or bottom of one's vision, a constantly-updating map's visible... and objectives are clearly marked.

In this case, the humans in the basement are definitely one such objective.
Kotone Yamakawa Corona attacks the power systems and with no one to stop her Given the chaos of the assault from the rest of the team? Her Breaker is more than able to handle this the wall is hooked and she just wrecks the wall with a burst of plasma which slags the wall the power box and causes the buildings power grid to just overload. The power system goes off line front he damage and with the cooling remains of the walls? One can see melted power cables sparking dangerously this could end badly if one isn't careful.

Thankfully the androids are just armed with standard hand weaponry they seem more to be an measure to keep someone out of the wood work. the EMP grenade does help a good deal these may be not the most high end ones and they are not well protected against the force of the EMP grenade a number of them are dropped by the first blast but those out of range are moving to attack.

Staren makes his move going after the guy as he gets preachy.

"That it?"

The big guy's fast Staren moves to aim and fires the missile that's when the guy moves so fast he seems to blur, he twists moving to slice his arm blade catching the missile cutting it in two, it detonates catching him in the blasts He's clearly injured a lot of his synth skin's gone and he's more looking like a darn terminator at this point.

Biteblade and Pavo would be good support for Corona in dealing with the turrets, thankfully they are using bullets so it means they will run out of ammo eventually.

Seft acts quickly and ends up impaled by the man's attack. This is good and bad he's got an enemy but the he's tied up so Moonfin is able to server his arm he lets out no cry a pain but the limb is severed and he's forced to fall back from the assault. More attacks are coming in and at this point Kotone is cloaking now and heading in an attempt to help Alexis make it deeper.

Pavo and Biteblade are now lending good support to Corona she should have more than enough cover to deal with the turrets.

The large cyborg is now pulling back and his eyes narrow a bit, and he grabs an weapon off one of his downed fellows and starts shooting.

Alexis would finds on the HUD that Kotone is coming rapidly to her location using all the chaos to aid her in her stealthing in.

<<Alexis I'm on my way push on if you can.>>

A singal has gone out over the local comms it seems the locals are using an ecripted cybercomm and it looks like some not engaging int the fight are making to flee the building. Not many but a few rats are fleeing the sinking ship.
Corona Arclite When short on time, excessive damage is your best bet. It may sound like weird advice, but Rusty's was rarely ever off.

The grid is slagged and the power is out... but the turrets are still going? Must be internal power supplies. Fortunately they are machines and when one swivels her way the fox's ears pick it up and ducks out of the line of fire. Even with only average vision in the dark her exceptional hearing made up for it. With her Breaker still kept handy in one hand, she pulls out the Forge Sweeper with the other, pumping the action to fire up the energy charger before flipping it over into a proper grip. "HEADS DOWN!" She warns Pavo and Biteblade before opening fire, belting out scatterblasts of plasma pellets at the turrets.

Though if they're mindful of the conical spread shotguns typically fire in, the duo should be able to flank on other attackers, if there's any left around them.
Alexis Maaka     Alexis doesn't have any cyborgs to deal with. Androids tend to be less fuzzy when it comes to the Rules of Engagement back home, and she's certain that's the case here too. As she pokes out to take another shot or two at the androids, she squeezes off round after round before she closes in for close-quarters combat.

Holstering her sidearm, she activates her shock gloves, delivering fierce punches and kicks when not disarming (sometimes literally) the androids before giving them a shocking slug to the head to disable them. She grabs one android by the arm they carry weapons in, then twists it at an unnatural angle to cripple the limb, following it up with an electric strike to the throat area.

She notices Kotone coming close to joining her, and she picks up the pace as she draws her pistol again and fires point-blank into an android's head.
Staren     Staren is... surprised when the large cyborg /cuts the missile in two/. Dude is /fast/. Moonfin was able to chop off his arm though, so he's not /that/ unbeatable. Although that might be more a testament to Moonfin's abilities. Staren knows that Moonfin is a seriously scary opponent. It helps to have been stabbed through the chest by him.

Staren keeps an eye on the guy as he retreats, but doesn't persue. Once he's out of sight, Staren runs up to Seft, helping to remove the arm and blade and pulling a can of repair spray from his bag to spray over the wound. He will wait until they are ready to proceed to the prisoners as a group.
Starbound Flotilla "Big and Tall Emporium is booking it."
"Let him go, focus on the objective."
"I'm gonna shoot at him without running after him just 'cause it's nice and passive aggressive, and it'll make you mad."
"Pained. George, please."

George, protected behind Seft, levels his gun on her shoulder to steady himself and fire off a few rounds at the retreating man. Unfortunately, Seft gives out under him by the time the man's rounded the corner! She falls to one knee. Moonfin's the one who stops by near her, and Seft. "Scholar, you have this obstacle addressed?" He checks. The repair spray is filling things in, helping keep her structure together and preventing further hardware damage. "Good. Consider my progress a ripple of what you have cast into the lake of this battle." Since neither he nor George need to attend to Seft, they can move on through the structure. Seft, buzzing with electronic warnings and visor flashing with "!!!!", tosses her pistol off to Moonfin as he moves through. They'll continue on, aggressively. More dismemberments, more body shots, here. They're more focused on taking out as many foes as possible, but not on keeping them especially alive or especially dead. All that matters is the results!

Biteblade and Pavo face down the androids in the upper levels. Pavo keeps their hand cannons (heh) trained on her as she bounces around the walls and ceiling using her superior jumping ability, blocking several bursts with her cutlass and taking several bullets to the gut as she goes, and trying to slice through more targets. She takes the way opposite the turrets, leaving her out of the way of the Forge Sweeper. Biteblade is the primary DPS, which is why she sticks behind, firing lancing precision shots at missed targets while Pavo rushes them down, and generally functioning as rapid ranged cover! It looks like Pavo, with the initial turret bursts and hand-cannon attacks, has suffered some wounding, though.

Thank goodness Albert rappels down into the structure, grenade launcher in one hand, blasting IR smoke down hallways to massively increase the targeting time required for sighting Corona, and ideally making it piss-easy for her to clear the area out more now, since they've figured out most of the local configuration of things!
Rory White     Rory spots that there are, indeed, people fleeing. Like rats. Rory notes this on the HUD, flagging these people a different color - orange. She has no idea what they are doing in addition to running though, and her Saucer cannot possibly track them forever. The direction they are moving in might be relevant later. She draws a second stealth-coated Saucer from her coat and lets it go. This one stays lower to the ground and speeds off to try follow the tunnel in whatever direction they're going.

This may or may not bear fruit. The Saucer's top speed is not so spectacular, and its scanning range through COUNTLESS METERS OF DIRT is poor. Buildings are largely hollow and follow patterns that AI analysis can deduce. Lots of packed earth? Not so much.

But she wants to know where that tunnel goes.
Kotone Yamakawa The turrets do have a backup power supply it won't last long but taking out the power won't just have them shut down. Still Corona's got her cover from Pavo and Biteblad and the Turret doesn't last long from the blasts from he shotgun blast and they are soon smouldering wrecks they should be able to move on at this point.

Alexis would have Kotoen comming in fast but she's bale to blow away an android with no issue it's white 'blood' however smatters everywhere when the head goes up and Kotone also takes one out at range. There's only a few left, Alexis should be able to push through awith backup now.

<<I got a bad feeling about this let's keep moving!>>

Staren meanwhile is forced back from the fighting the Big borg is falling back but George has other plans for him. The shots score hit an several breach his frame, leaving a thick slick of dark red fluid that's not quite blood. in it's wake.

There's a few androids they drop quick enough and more thugs go down to the furious assaults of the starbounder. Corona would have some very good backup which would confuse the last of the turrts leaving it open to being finished off.

Meanwhile if Alexis pushes hard she'll be able to lead Kotone into the lowest level of the place where several androids are attempting to fend them off with heavy assault rifles!

Rory's effors would not be the turrnels look old like older than the power grid they would date back to the Soviet Union, they are a twisted maze but they lead to the coast of the island, it looks like they are booking it hard.
Corona Arclite The IR smoke from Albert is a very helpful edge alongside his comrades' cover when it comes to picking off the last of the turrets. Use to this sort of fighting Corona has little issue with taking them out with her shotgun in one hand, while recollapsing the Breaker and stowing it with the other. In it's place she pulls up the SMG and switchs to finish off the last couple of turrets with a burst of fire while letting the Forge Sweeper recharge it's plasma chamber.

She considers a moment, then glances over her shoulder to the other Starbounders. "Keep headin' towards the objective. I'm gonna make sure we got a clean way back outta this hellhole." With that she bounds off into the corridors, picking off any remaining turrets she can find.

And then dropping her own portable clockpunk ones in her wake to make sure the path stays clear. Plus it will give the others an easily marked trail to follow out later.
Staren     Staren stays with Seft long enough enough to confirm that the repair spray is working, then puts it back in the bag and gets moving towards the prisoners as soon as the route is on his HUD.

When it occurs to him that everyone might be leaving because of a self-destruct, he breaks into a run!
Alexis Maaka     Alexis doesn't stop until the rest of the androids are neutralized, if not destroyed entirely. She nabs a submachine gun off one of the combat droids when her weapon runs low on ammo, and she spies Kotone along the way towards lower and lower levels.

By the time they reach the bottom, they're greeted with more droids, Maaka taking cover behind a wall to avoid assault rifle fire while she tosses in another EMP, then going inside to engage them directly while they stumble in place from their systems being disabled. "We gotta go! NOW!" She calls to Kotone, firing burst after burst as she continues with haste.
Rory White     Unfortunately, two men hoofing it through tunnels against a Saucer is in favor of the two dudes. The Saucer cannot keep up, nor can it accurately track thermal readings that deep underground to try and follow trails.

SO istead Rory tasks an AI to mapping out the tunnels as well as it possibly can and streaming data back constantly. Thankfully, TUNNELS probably aren't going anywhere...
Starbound Flotilla     George and Moonfin don't run into much, which is good, because it lets them dynamically secure the lower levels. They're plotting a quick path from the lower floors to the area above, and securing it if they can. Maaka seems like she can deal with those android far below. Elsewhere, Biteblades work on heading down to help, while Albert coordinates with his craft's SAIL, getting it to swing low enough to mass-teleport the target prisoners, once they're outside! The Starbounders have, by now, mostly shifted to supporting the others, it seems. Seft and Pavo work on getting out; they're wounded, so they're gonna let the less damaged folks deal with this.
Kotone Yamakawa The androids don't last long from Alexis and with a few assists from Kotone the andorids are left where they fall as Kotone races along with Alexis she presses deeper.

"I know! We get the people and we go!"

Thanks to the EMP the androids are no longer an issue asn they lay there on the floor, puppets with their strings cut. Alexis and Kotne would find a holding area and it's not a happy sight, five women mostly in their late teens and early 20s are locked up in a makeshift cell and in another two men of about eighteen to twenty are held as well they looked up stunned. All of them look of various mainlain Asia orgins one of them calls out.

"I don't care who you are! GET US OUT OF HERE!"

The man seems to be in better condtions than the others likely a fresher catch than the ones who have been here longer.

Kotone doesn't say a thing for a moment as she moves to wreck the locks and calls out.

"Come with us we need to get out of here quickly."

Alexis and Kotone get wary looks most of the people here have caught on both appear to be full con cyborgs. The agumentation on them seems pretty low from the looks of it some of them might not even have cyberbrains. Still these two women are their best chance to get out so what choice do they have?

George and Moonfin as they sweep the lower levels would find a few computer terminals they might have time to grab and make off with it. George would also find a strongbox as well which might prove interesting. For now though it's time to get out of here. Also Rory would pick up an encrpited signal going out from somewhere to the building and that can't be good can it?
Starbound Flotilla     Loot. Jam it into the Matter Manipulator. Moonfin handles securing, George handles looting, just jamming entire terminals and strongboxes into his Matter Manipulator after holstering his gun. Gotta get going quick, according to the others. Punch a hole through any walls between the entrance to the lower levels and the outside, with a quick burst of Matter Manipulator? Done.

Albert's craft swings low, massive white craft filling the air just near the building. Albert, Pavo, and Seft can evac immediately. Biteblade, Moonfin, and George will help guide the others out, as quick and urgently as they can!! They'll be teleporting out soon after as well!
Staren     Staren's beaten to the hostages. They're recovered okay.

Staren's beaten to the computers. Others are handling it.

There's something else Staren can grab, though...

Staren teleports from the tunnels back to the main room. Inside teleporting requires perfect aim, but that's what an inertial navigation system and mapping software are for. Staren pulls a large sack out of his bag, and draws his beam saber, and collects...

    heads.

Once he's got them, he books it out of there.
Alexis Maaka     "That's what we're here for, genius." Alexis says, before she helps break the doors down. She doesn't pay much mind to the wary looks she gets, despite her intimidating appearance in that black armor. She then covers the prisoners as they escape. Thanks to Rory, they do have a way out.

"We gotta get moving, let's go!" She says, before leading the group towards what appears to be a wall, before she produces some frame charges. "Everybody get back, this is gonna be noisy." She says, planting the charges before detonating them to blow a hole big enough to get through, leading to the underground tunnels.

"Move it or loose it, folks!"
Rory White     Rory, seeing the rescue attempt's results going well, is almost ecstatic! They are GETTING THIS THING DONE! The concentration of people -were- hostages! And they're in... relatively okay condition? Hard to say, but being able to move is enough for now.

On the other hand, picking up an encrypted signal at all is a bad sign. An alarm? A self-destruct signal? She doesn't know but she's glad to not be inside...
Kotone Yamakawa The man looks embrassed slightoy but he's not going to complain, the mouthy guy to his credit helps with some of the weaker people as does Kotone. They move as quick s they can getting into the tunnels there's water and a bit of a dank smell but nothing else, there's thankfully no functional turrets down here as the band will make it to a point they can be teleported out likely on to Rory's ship for the moment.

<<Rory we got some likely malnourishe and dehyraded people here likely more get the medical gear warmed up and some food fabbing>

The signal is to any androids and computer systems in the base that haven't been shoved into matter storage space by the Flotilla, it's a purge command the androids and computer systems would delete themselves then write junk data over it to make recovery so much the harder.

There's no explosions, no big blasts, no fireball in the night just the sounds of the damaged building shifting slightly and the wind.

Elsewhere

"What do you mean our suppliers, are saying they are going to back out of the deal?!"

"They said there was no money in dealing with elites let alone an infamous group of them."

"Did you offer them more money!?"

"They said what good is money if they are dead, they will upholding the information security regardless. They are not foolish."

"We'll have to make due with the materials we have and we have to do something about it."

"We need to start clean up ops before this goes any further we may have to consider relocating."

"...Calm and reliable as ever I see."

"That's why you pay me."
