Princess Peach Situated at the foot of Princess Peach's Castle, Toad Town, the Mushroom Kingdom capital, is a humble settlement. Little homes line the streets, seeming to be made from the same materials as the castle since the exterior walls and roofs match apart from a bronze trim at the edges of each roof. The town has a quaint, homely vibe to it that seems to sit well with its residents as everyone seems happy and friendly.

There is a large open plaza at the center of town, with a huge golden yellow Starman made up of little tiles in the center, complimented by a pair of fountains atop the eyes of the Starman, each topped with a mushroom decoration with the water flowing from the underside of the mushroom cap. All through town last minute work is being done to finish setting the Halloween decorations, and Peach comes out tonight heading to the town square to see how things are going, lending a hand if she can do anything to help. The decorations are the usual fare, spider webs, skeletons, ghosts, but they are hardly scary, sharing the same cartoony look that is so common on this world.
Ebon Ribbon      As the mushroom people and princess work, an elegant sound of hooves clopping on pavement can be heard. The sound is coming from an equally elegant-looking Equestrian pony who is walking down the road toward the town square. She is alone, and seems to be enjoying the decor. "What quaint decorations. Hardly scary, but this land does not seem much for scary moments."

As she nears the square and spots the princess, she smirks a bit darkly before putting on a cheerful smile. "Greetings!" she calls out as she approaches calmly. "I must compliment you on your town's decorations. Clearly they have taken a lot of work." The pony stops when she is within a few feet of Peach. "Are you one of the nobles of this land?"
Princess Peach Princess Peach looks up as she hears the hoof-steps coming up the road. She's well aquainted with a few of the ponies of Equestria though, so the sound is not unfamilar to her. As she looks to see who it is however, she sees it's someone new, greeting Ebon with a warm, inviting smile. "This land may not have much that is terrifying by looks alone, but there are things among this world that are as deadly as they are cute. My name is Peach, princess and ruler of this land. I humbly welcome you to the Toad Town."
Ebon Ribbon      The pony smirks lightly. "I see. I suppose it is possible that cute things of this world are dangerous. After all, the ponies of Equestria can be rather dangerous when they wish to be." She laughs gently after that. "But, where are my manners? I am Ebon Ribbon. I am honored to meet the ruler of this land. It is quite lovely." Ebon bows lightly as she introduces herself, then looks the princess over. "What a flattering outfit. A bit bright for my tastes, but cute nonetheless. Who is your tailor?"
Princess Peach Princess Peach smiles and nods. "Well, you know what they say, don't judge a book by it's cover. Anyway it's a pleasure to meet you Ebon Ribbon, what a lovely name. Please, stay as long as you like and enjoy the festivities as my guest. As for my dress, why thank you. My tailor is a woman who goes by Glam R. I have a few different styles she's done up for me. This is one of the more fancy gowns, and also my favorite. What brings you to the Mushroom Kingdom though, if you don't mind me asking?"
Ebon Ribbon      Ebon Ribbon giggles a bit at the name. It is even more direct than pony names! But, she refrains from commenting. "Ah, is that where I am? I was merely exploring. I love discovering new places. Particularly the local cuisines." There may be a hint of a foreshadowing pause on 'cuisines'. "Mushroom Kingdom. What a charming theme. Houses that look like mushrooms. People that look like mushrooms." She pauses. "Yet, you are named Peach? Were your parents opposed to fungi-based names?"
Princess Peach Princess Peach chuckles a bit, having gained a pretty good understanding by now of how strange her kingdom could seem to newcomers. "Well, as odd as it all may seem, I am human, while most of the rest of the kingdom's residents are toads. As for my name, I recall my mother telling me that when I was born, and she held me for the first time, she looked out the windows of the castle, seeing an orchard of peach trees in bloom, and decided to make that my name." She pauses for a moment and moves closer to Ebon. "Seems we have a common love for discovery. I really enjoy seeing new places around the multiverse, meeting new people, helping others whenever I can, and trying new cuisine, that's really great too!"
Ebon Ribbon      Ebon Ribbon smiles as she hears the story. "Ah. In that case, it is understandable. And I suppose Truffle or some other such name is not nearly as flattering." she says. Her tail swishes lightly when Peach moves closer. She listens to the list of their common interested with that same smile, but a sharp observer might notice a slight lessening of that smile when helping others is mentioned. "Ah...yes. Helping others." she says. Seems like she may not hold it in high regard. But, she follows that up with a cheerful. "What a noble goal! I am sure you have helped many in your time. A princess is in an extrordinary position for such a thing."
Princess Peach Princess Peach smiles and laughs a little. "Yes, truffle would have been an odd name indeed, don't think it would fit me at all." She continues listening to Ebon, giving pause as she catches a drop in her tone when she repeats the part about helping others, but then continues on about how great it is. "Well, yes, I know some of the worlds in the Multiverse are... not so nice. If I can help in any way to make the lives of the people in such situations better, I'm happy to do so, and you're right, as a princess, I am in a position to offer aid in many ways."
Ebon Ribbon      Ebon Ribbon seems to lose interest as Peach talks more about helping people. Her attention wanders before her ears perk as she spots a nearby restaurant. "Oh! Do your subjects serve mainly mushroom-based foods? Or do they consider that distasteful due to the similarities to themselves?" she says, her smile returning. "Either way, I must visit one of your town's eateries. Is there one you would suggest?" She seems to be intentionally changing the subject away from helping people.
Princess Peach It does seem like a rather abrupt change of subject, but Peach takes it in stride, following Ebon's gaze to the restaurant. "Well, actually yes, and no. There are lots of dishes based on mushrooms, but there are also many other dishes, even some things that have been added since Unification, picked up from other worlds either I or the cooks here in the kingdom have visited. Also, speaking of eating, I still haven't had dinner myself. I could join you, either here, or you could come to the castle where I can have the castle chef cook for us. I love having guests."
Ebon Ribbon      The pony smiles a bit haughtily as she hears the offer. "Ah, a feast in my name? How could I turn down such an offer? I will of course accept. And I would love to see the castle of a foreign princess. The castle of the pony queens is quite extravagant. I trust yours is equally so?" she says, then sighs a bit dramatically. "But, I must return home for now. if I leave my home unattended for too long, dust attempts to move in. Which of course I cannot allow." She seems quite serious, even furrowing her brow at the thought of dust settling on her precious belongings. She then smiles to Peach again. "Thank you for the invitation. Perhaps tomorrow? Simply let me know what time to be here. I will strive to dress appropriately. It would hardly be fitting for me to arrive without a proper dress to a princess's banquet hall."
Princess Peach Princess Peach looks disapointed to hear that Ebon has to go, but nods and smiles as she requests to postpone till tomorrow. "Of course. I will get everything ready and send you an invitation. I'll just have to work out some time in my day. I look forward to seeing you back, travel safe and have a good night!"
