Owner Pose
Hoshi Amakasu     The early evening's weather was quite pleasant as Drachenblatt released it's students for their last day of the week. Excited gaggles of the various cliques strode out of the campus with swagger that said they owned this school--at least, their little portion of it. Hoshi was sitting outside the gate with her legs crossed, leaning back against what seemed to be a full bag of gear. Her hands were crossed behind her head as she watched the entrance.

For a moment, her eyes flickered to meet one of the groups leaving, and the patronizing smiles and haughty smirks made her grit her teeth slightly even as she stuck a neutral expression on her face. They walked by, talking loudly of their rumors again. Why, why do they always do it right in front of her? "I ask them one time to not, and..." she mutters under her breath.
August Kohler Another Persona user is something August Kohler wasn't sure if was even possible. He knew there had to be other people who had faced the Wolf...but he didn't know how many, if any, survived. But, there being another is a relief. He just has to make sure they'll help him figure out what's going on.

Leaving the school and heading towards the gate, he approaches Hoshi, eyes analyzing her every step, his expressions a bit cold. He has his own bag, wrapped around his shoulder. "So. I assume you've played the...game. Saw the secret nobody else knows? We really do have a lot to talk about."
Hoshi Amakasu      When he comes into view, Hoshi quickly comes back to her feet and takes a moment to brush off her skirt, eventually coming to match his gaze with one of her own. She tried to put a more welcoming smile on her face, but she barely managed a slight twitch of her lips and a small jerking nod. Now that she can look closer, she can see the aura with him--the same one he carried. The aura of someone who'd seen something horrible and barely managed to escape.

"G-good evening, Kohler--" she starts off quickly, but she goes quiet when Kohler speaks. Hoshi looks at the ground uncomfortably before going to her large gear bag and hauling it up. "Take a walk with me, please. Show me to the warpgate. I'm going to join up with the Union after this." With that, she starts off slowly, trying to think of what to say. Eventually, she speaks quietly. "I think game makes it sound a lot nicer than it was. It's sick--showing someone everything wrong with them and then expecting them to survive in a place like that."

After a moment, though, a small grim smile comes to her face. "At least I got that... thing. The one that looked at me. Last I saw it, it was stuck bleeding in a thicket after I'd beaten it's face in." Hoshi glances at Kohler curiously. "What... happened to you? If I can ask?"
August Kohler "Sure. Let's go." August's expression doesn't change, as they start towards the forest. Another person who has faced the game is not something to be happy about. There is nothing joyful about it. "When we get there, be ready. It's...disorienting, to say the least. The Union has good people, though, they'll help you out."

The forest isn't /far/, but still takes a fair distance of walking to reach it. "It was a /death/ game. And it was entirely twisted. How many people there...died, I don't know, I don't want to know, but it's disgusting." August grimaces, taking a deep breath. "You mean the Persona? I got one too. It's...a part of you, your ego. 'The Tin Soldier'. Whatever it is, it's an ally, and probably the only way of fighting those...things." Beat. Hoshi asks about Kohler's experience inside the Forest. "It...was terrifying. The wolf...it hunted me. And it talked to me. But it was not the voice of a wolf...it was the voice of my classmates. Taunting me, telling me how much I should die. A voice attached to a monstrous visage...I should be /dead/."
Hoshi Amakasu      Hoshi gives a tired little chuckle as she pats the gear bag hanging from her shoulder. "That's why I brought all my gear. My bokken, too. I was so nervous that my locker would get checked." Judging from it's bulkiness, she's probably not lying, either. The fact that she's walking so well with that much gear is a testament to all her training. "Assuming this is like a tryout, I should have everything I need to give a good show."

She goes quiet as August goes into his rant. She can hardly blame him. She'd wanted to explode about it at first, too, but hadn't dared to. Who would have believed the story if she had? Even worse--who might have tried to do it anyway? Suddenly, she blinks and glances over at August. "That thing was Rosamond?! I guess it makes sense, the way you describe it, but... I think I like her the way she is now." A quick shake to clear her head, and she's focused again.

She nods grimly at the mention of the wolf--everything seemed to add up, in it's own twisted logic. Break a person down to their lowest parts, and force them to confront their own weakness or die. "I don't want to reinact Seven Samurai," she mutters under her breath. "But you didn't die. Neither of us did. We got pulled out, and got Personas instead. I'll bet there's more people who were dumb enough to play the game and lucky enough to get out."

A frown slowly comes to her face as she looks out towards where they're walking. "Does that mean that this was on purpose? If you want to consider this a match--did we win somehow?"
