Yari Takane Yari, it seems, didn't have a very nice time after the operation with Wo. She's in a hospital gown, and bandages cover her from stomach to her neck. There's also burns on her arm and legs. Looks like the poor Au'ra was caught in an inferno of some sort!

The ninja is awake at least, reading what seems to be a book on arthurian legends, occasionally sipping the cup of coffee on a side table.
Mihk Lihzeh     Clinkerclink. The sound of glass on a rolling trolly comes down the hallway. Mihk then peeks around the doorframe, ears twitching slightly before she slips inside. "Centurion." she greets, pushing the trolley over. It has several bottles, vials and flasks arrayed on it, many which the Au'Ra would recognize from the conquered states around Garlemald. Potions, Ethers and other such things.
Yari Takane Yari looks over the various vials, blinking as she finally recognizes them before her gaze sweeps to the cat in question.

"Good evening, Miss Lihzeh. Thank you for coming." Adds the ninja politely. She definitely lacks the edge she's always had in her voice around Eorzeans. The Multiverse is good at adding perspective.

Yari sits up, more than used to being looked over by now.

"Mostly burn wounds. I was fighting on the oil rig we were assaulting, and was forced to blow out the supports. Admittedly, I should have jumped off a moment or two earlier." The ninja blushes a bit.

"Any news from home?"
Mihk Lihzeh     Mihk's ears pan to take in the Au'Ra's words. "Ah, burn damage." she goes about her work, hands picking out vials, an empty flask, then mixing liquids together. "Nothing new as yet. The Alliance has largely fallen back in on itself, since Garlemald has gone silent."
Yari Takane Yari watches curiously as Mihk works, tail flicking lightly.

Then she sighs. "At least that means Garlemald can rebuild." She actually sounds relieved at the news.

The ninja's head tilts. "What of you, Ma'am? You've served well in the Confederacy from what I've seen, but you rarely seem to ask for assistance in turn."
Mihk Lihzeh     Mihk's ears fall flat. Her brow furrows, and she silently mixes the liquids. Once they fully mix, the liquid glows faintly, before going dull again. She then offers the flask to the Ninja. "Drink this. Slowly." she advises, not responding to the question.
Yari Takane It seems Yari hit a nerve. The ninja, too, falls silent. How awkward. The atmosphere lingers as she takes the flask.

Slowly, she tips the liquid, gulping it down in measured gulps before offering the flask back. She scrunches her face a bit as the healing tonic takes effect. Bleh.
Mihk Lihzeh     Mihk takes the flask, sets it back on the trolly, before pulling up a chair and seating herself. She's silent for long moments, until finally she shatters the deafening silence. "... I am lost." is all she says, folding her hands in her lap as she stares off into the middle distance.
Yari Takane Yari's face softens as she turns to Mihk, sitting up and sliding over to look at the Miqo'te.

"Lost?"

She offers a warm smile.

"You have my ears, Miss Lihzeh." Gently encourages the ninja. Her gaze is calm and unjudging as she looks the arcanist over.
Mihk Lihzeh     Sigh.

Mihk averts her gaze, and licks her lips, before taking a breath. "The Guild can find no traction in making the Alliance see us for our potential to aid them. Garlemald has retreated from the stage... I am lost in where my loyalties truly lay." she confides, glancing back. "I do no belong in an organization that advocates murder and torture... but I fear I would be unwelcome anywhere else. My hands," she lifts them, looking into the empty palms. "are stained with too much blood."
Yari Takane Yari puts her head in a hand, head tilted just slightly.

She closes her eyes, pondering, before opening them. "I wouldn't go that far. I obviously can't encourage betrayal of the Confederacy." Starts Yari, only slightly pointed.

She calms quickly though.

"But if you truly feel the Confederacy isn't for you, it's possible that you could retire. There is the Syndicate as well, if the mercenary life suits you best."

Another pause.

"Miss Lihzeh, if I may, I'd suggest that you evaluate what you want out of your life and your goals, Ma'am. My own have certainly changed over time. When you know what you want, and who your friends are, then I think a decision on where you belong may be slightly more informed."

A flick of the tail. "And you've been fairly isolated. I doubt that helps your situation." She ponders, and then nods.

"Sanary and I often go out for drinks after operations. Maybe you can join us some time? Attachments might help you work through your feelings."
Mihk Lihzeh     Mihk furrows her brow a little, then offers a little smile. "I would like that." she replies, her own tail flicking a little bit. "I should return to my duties, and you should rest and allow the regenerative potion to work." She stands, then turns to leave.

    "... Thank you... Centurion."
