Princess Peach     Once again, with things in the kingdom fairly quiet, Peach has taken the oportunity to go out and enjoy herself for a day. Today she's gone for a stroll through the great forest. The princess in pink would surely stick out to anyone who might pass through as you don't usually see someone hiking through the woods in a dress. Toad has accompanied her, but is now looking quite worried as they've been out here for a few hours and it's becoming fairly certain that they're both lost.

"Well, I really didn't want to bother anyone to come and rescue us, but I am really starting to doubt that we'll find our way back to the warp gate on our own, and I don't know about you, but I'm starting to get a bit hungry and thirsty..." She says with a frown, to which Toad nods.
Peridot     It hadn't been the first time in this forest for Peridot. She had been here mere weeks prior investigating a starfall event. It had been the very same location where Toph had terrorized her and chased her away after they happened upon a corrupted gem.

And so, Peridot had returned to the scene. The green woman was half her normal size.  About as tall as Toad. She didn't have her limb enhancers with her. Bands wrapped around her neck and shoulders, as though she was injured recently but appeared to be recovering nicely.

She was however accompanied by Robonoids, who walked around her feet. She held a scanning device in her hand and was following up on a reading.  She had hoped to find more corrupted gems, but instead she happened to find a Princess. "Don't move!" Peridot shouts, climbing up onto a log with a bit of strained effort. She pointed her scanning device at them. Though it was harmless, she certainly wielded it like a weapon. Knowledge was power, after all. "Prepare to be documented!"
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa had been more and more trying to clear her thoughts about what lay ahead in her life. Given what had happened to Miho her cousin she'd needed a place to just well get out and this forest seemd to be the best place well until she hears the booming voice of Peridot and she alls out to her as she closes only then catching sight of Peach and Toad.

"Wait really? Your that one from the radio and why should we prepare to be documented?"
Princess Peach      Peach stops suddenly at Peridot's command, following the voice with her eyes she finds the odd looking woman standing on a log, eyeing the device in her hands. Toad, in a moment of bravery, moves to stand between Peach and Peridot, even though they've been told not to move.

"Documented? What are you talking about?" Toad asks with a tone of confusion with a tinge of nervousness. Peach catches sight of Kotone as she comes near, but says nothing while turning her attention back to Peridot.
Peridot     "Because!" She responded. "You are.. trespassing on official Homeworld business! I will need to know your basic composition and what manner of energy signatures-- weaponry you might posses!" She answers tapping away on her device. "You a-" She pauses, looking up from her device. "The radio..?"

Her lips purse. "Which radio? who are you exactly?" She says, lowering her device. Though her expression was still suspicious. Her scans incomplete. "All three of you! Identify yourself!"
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa says "One of the Gems from the broadband channel, you with the confederates right? Have you ever considered politely asking it would go a lot farther you know."

She looks Peridot over for a moment her eyes narrowing a little bit as she looks at them.

"How about you try hello? I am Kotone."
Princess Peach      Trespassing? Well this gets Peach's attention. "We're in the middle of the forest, how can we be trespassing? There were no signs to warn that no one should be here, and even so, I'm sorry, but we're actually lost and trying to find the way to the nearest warp gate. But if you must document who we are, I am Princess Peach of the Mushroom Kingdom, and this is my attendant, Toad." Peach says firmly before turning again to Kotone and waving. "Hey, Kotone, how have you been since we last met?"
Peridot     "Cottony." She says, before clearing her thoat, struggling a little with the pronunciation. "Kotone." She corrects. Peridot inherently didn't seem the sort who did things politely. Without a compelling reason to do so, that is.

She looked around suspiciously, as Princess Peach spoke. "Ah. Full disclosure. A wise maneuver. Cooperation will go much easier for you." Despite her veiled threat, she didn't appear to possess much in the way of weaponry, or physical prowess.

"I see. You are some manner of.. monarchy... and Lost? If what you say is true, I suppose I can forgive your transgression against the Homeworld empire." She rubs her chin. "Were you on some manner of political mission? I am the planets single Homeworld Gem diplomat. Peridot." Her posture relaxed, slightly. Though the gem woman still seemed guarded.
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa says "I was jus tout to correct my head. She looked the Gem over a bit more over for a moment.

"I'm just trying to get out and clear my head got some nasty business I'm dealing with and that's all you need to know about it."

She looks Peridot over for a moment longer and does seem curious.

"So your a Gem, which means your an wholy inorganic lifeform, right?"

She gives Peach a look.

"It's been as grim as I say, I don't think you wish to know what's up."
Princess Peach      "The Homeworld Empire? They control this forest then? I'm not on any sort of mission, like Kotone, I just came here to get out and enjoy the forest. I didn't realize that was a crime..." Peach then turns to Kotone with a sympathetic frown. "Oh, I'm sorry to hear that things have not been going well. Not anything I could help with is it?"
Peridot     "Yes." She answers. "Gems have little in common with biological life, save for some superficial aspects of humanoid form and internal structure regulation. Our bodies are light constructs given solid form."

"Well, no this forest is not technically owned by the empire save by some of our invader force bylaws. Technically wherever I conduct business becomes Homeworld property with some exceptions. But a part of our property fell here, and I've come to see if we left anything else."

She puts away her scanning device. "So far, the answer is a resounding no. And I have to say, I would be eager to renounce Invader rights. This... forest is teeming with growth, pest, microbial life... very unsanitary."
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa says "I didn't see any sign of claim to this land to be hones."

She nods for a moment and she looks at Peridot for a moment.

"So you cam to recover something I see that soudns legit enough to me. Heh don't take well to organic life do you? Does your palent have some sort of inorganic ecosystem of some sort?"
