Ira MacNally     Ira can't really understand exactly what makes this barren-looking place so valuable at first glance. There isn't actually a factory here-in fact, it looks like a giant mine of some kind ripped straight out of one of those video games made out of extremely pixellated graphics. Not that Ira plays those or watches people playing those. Nope.

The six foot tall Irish teenager crouches over the long-dead pieces of one of the spider drones, poking and pulling with interest. She knows nothing about robotics or engineering and how exactly these things work are beyond her but there seems to be something /else/ about the robotic corpse drawing her interest. She grips two of the thin, sharpened legs still attached to the robot's carpace and pulls. Metal twists and screetches, Ira's grin widening as it does, and with a flourish and grunt, she yanks both legs free simultaneously.

"Nice." she says, revelling in her newly acquired increased strength. Stretching out her back, she flips both ends of the drone legs over in her hands, gripping them by the base, giving her a pair of somewhat awkward spears. With these in hand, she stalks deeper into the Factory, further exploring.
Taylita      As Ira heads deeper into the crater that is the Factory, there is a sound like a jet engine approaching. It makes its way steadily closer, and steadily grows louder. If Ira looks up, she would see what looks like a blue comet flying through the air. Which is not far off. But, rather than some frozen rock core, the core is a young woman with red hair and a monkey tail.

She is surrounded by a blue corona of energy which is leaving a long streamer behind her. She closes in quickly on Ira, then circles around to land in front of the other woman, sending up a cloud of dust from the power of her landing. Even after she lands, Taylita stays cloaked in the blue flames of her aura. She stands tall and crosses her arms over her chest, her tail swaying lightly. "So, who are you?" she asks amicably while a light smirk stays on her face. She doesn't seem overly hostile, but she does look eager to fight.
Ira MacNally     Ira hears that noise alright. It actually worries her a little-she didn't consider that one of the factions might just decide to bomb the shit out of her instead of, well, facing her one on one. Maybe the Persona could let her survive a carpet bombing? "Clearly /I/ count as an Elite now." she mutters to herself as she turns to watch the noise.

There's some relief as she sees it's not a jet but a flying person that sounds like a jet. "Alright. A flyer. I can deal with that." Though she seems just as okay with her landing on the ground. Ira eyes up the monkey-tailed woman, catching the look in her eye, which she understands all too well.

"I'm Ira MacNally. I'm from Earth and I go to a school called Drachenblatt." She twists her wrists outwawrds, holding the leg-spikes out at her sides as if they were swords. "You here to make me leave? Who are you and where are you from?"
Taylita      Taylita switches her stance to an obvious martial-arts style, then grins. "I'm Taylita, honorable Saiyan Warrior from the planet Corlan. You might've encountered some of my kind before, but no matter what kind you met, you haven't faced any like me." She eyes those sword-like spider arms, then smirks. "What, don't have enough strength to fight without those pokers?" she taunts.

Whether Ira keeps them or not, Taylita seems confident and ready to fight. "So, you want me to force you to leave? Hope you were ready for a fight, then. Unless you just want me to pick you up and toss you out of here." She must be expecting to fight, because energy starts to build in her palms, forming into small orbs about the size of softballs.
Ira MacNally     "I have no idea what that is." Ira states bluntly. "Some kind of monkey thing...?" she looks meaningfully at the Saiyan's pretty obvious tail. At the taunt over her makeshift weapons draws a laugh from the study-looking teenager. "Are you afraid of a couple of pointed pieces of metal?" she counters, definitely not releasing either one.

She flips them around in her hands and takes a step forward. "Yeah, that's exactly what I wanted, a fight." The energy spheres don't even make her hesitate. She charges the Saiyan.

Taylita      Taylita just smirks as Ira talks. "There are few things I am afraid of. Pointy pieces of metal are not one of them." she says. When Ira charges, Taylita does as well. She runs forward quickly, which makes it harder to dodge those pointy things, but hopefully makes it easier to nail Ira with both of those energy blast.

She fires them just before they reach each other, and each one would hit like a strong punch before exploding. The spider legs slash at Taylita's belly, drawing a short yelp from the saiyan as she passes by Ira. A bit of red flows down her toned tummy.
Ira MacNally     "Yeah? Then you won't mind if I keep these then." She says this /after/ she violently jabs the Saiyan with the bits of metal. But in the exchange, she herself doesn't come out unscathed-both strike true, though they don't exactly punch her back out of melee range like Taylita may have been hoping for. Whatever Ira is made out of, it's clearly something pretty bulky. A cringe does overcome her squinty face, lips pulling back into something of a snarl.

"Interesting." she remarks briefly before rounding on Taylita. She jumps in the air, both 'spears' turning over in her hands as she stabs them both downward into the Saiyan's shoulders-or shoulderpads rather.
Taylita      Taylita wasn't expecting Ira to go down after one attack. That wouldn't be fun, after all. When Ira jumps, Taylita braces. Then as Ira comes down, Taylita leaps upward. She spins as she rises to throw off Ira's aim a bit, though she still gets a nice cut in one shoulder. But, that leaves her free to send a knee up at Ira's chin as they pass in mid-air!

Whether the attack connects or not, Taylita lands near where Ira lands. Seems the saiyan is not afraid to stay up close and personal, despite the growing number of slashes in her tanned skin.
Ira MacNally     Taylita's strike definitely lands right under Ira's chin. Her head jerks upward but there is no accompanying bone-crunching snap a person is likely to hear after being hit like that by a Saiyan. She falls backwards, head still tilted upwards. As it looks like she's going to land flat on her back, her arms swing behind her to stab the drone legs into the grounds, stopping her fall like a skiier might prop herself up with her skis. Her thick arms pull forward against the metal, using her strength to launch herself forward and rip the pointed bits right back out of the ground.

Her momentum carries her forward and she grins fiercely, swinging both bits of metal at Taylita in a scissor-shaped chop. "Not bad so far! I hope you can /continue/ keeping up!"
Taylita      Even after the x-slash cuts into her, shedding more of her blood, Taylita continues to grin. "Don't worry, I can!" she says, though she stumbles a bit from the pain of supporting herself on an already badly slashed torso. She is hoping with Ira so close she can get in some hits of her own.

Taylita sweeps low with a leg, trying to take Ira's feet out from under her, then she follows that up with a falling kick aimed at Ira's midsection, attempting to smash Ira into the ground. It is likely to leave a small crater in the ground after the hit.
Ira MacNally     Ira is close enough and she's not exactly the most dodgy of people either. Despite her weight, her tallness does give her a higher center of gravity, making Taylita's leg sweep pretty effective. This time, she doesn't have the chance to stick the spider drone legs behind her to proper herself up-and even if she did, it would have made Taylita's follow up all the more painful.

As is, rather than being disarmed, she leaves a nice big dent on the ground that is probably a little deeper than Taylita was expecting. The 'bigger they are' adage must have some truth to it with Ira.

Despite the pounding, she seems pretty quick to relinquish her grip on one of her improvizational weapons so she can suddenly make a grab for the foot that didn't kick her to the ground, trying to drag Taylita down with her.
Taylita      Taylita grins as she lands her attacks, but is surprised when Ira has enough quickness to grab her foot. The Saiyan is pulled down, landing on her chin on the rocky ground. She groans, a bit embarrassed by that, but rolls so that she is on her side.

Then, holding her foot might be a disadvantage. Because with the other she kicks right at Ira's head a few times! "If you wanna roll around in the dirt with me, you better be ready to take some more hits!" Taylita says, grinning, as she kicks at Ira.
Ira MacNally     "Ow!" The first kick doesn't dislodge Ira. Neither does the second but the third finally makes her let go, which Taylita will feel easily.

Moments later the Sayain wil find that Ira has flipped over onto her belly and is pouncing over the Saiyan while Taylita's still on the ground. "OFFER ACCEPTED!!" Both hands are clutched around the one single spider drone leg she had held onto, which she leads with, not with to stab, instead holding it out horizontally in front of her. Ira attempts to drop her entire weight on the Saiyan's chest, shoving her knees underneath her armpits. The metal piece drops downwards, pressed against the Saiyan's throat in a clear attempt to choke her out.
Taylita      Taylita tries to roll back to her feet once Ira has let go, but the other woman is faster than Taylita thought! Taylita grunts as she is pinned beneath Ira, then her breath catches as that strong metal piece is pressed against her throat. Taylita's instinctive response is to flail, and her limbs twitch a moment before she asserts her training, forcing herself to relax rather than panic when her throat is harshly compressed and her air is cut off.

Ira might be on top of her, but Taylita's limbs are pretty much free to move. So...Taylita relaxes a moment, taking all of her training to keep herself from twitching, then brings her elbows and knees in toward Ira at the same time. With the strength of all four limbs she tries to crush Ira's lower ribs before bucking beneath her to try and throw the larger woman off!
Ira MacNally     Usually people do start freaking out once their air supply is cut off. Ira's kind of impressed with how Taylita actually handles this-at least up until the point where her lower ribs crunch inward and the breath is pressed out of her body. She's flung over Taylita's head moment's later and hits the ground a few feet away, flat on her back.

She wastes little time getting up, transferring the metal pole to her left hand as she does. "Alright, guess I can't really afford to hold back."

Her right hand digs into a skirt pocket, pulling out a silver zippo lighter. She clutches it in the palm of her hand, looking down into it, catching the slightly distorted vision of her eye staring back at her. "Persona." she growls.

Red light bursts around her feet, a sudden wind swirling around her and stirring her hair. From behind, or perhaps around her, an ethereal monster emerges. It stands at nine feet tall and appears to be a gruesome cross between a black-furred boar and a gorilla. Tusklike fangs jut out from its lower jaw and its back hunches forward, perhaps to accomodate a massive barrel-like chest and enormous arms. Strangely enough, the creature wears an impeccable white suit with gold trim. A red rose corsage is pinned to his left breast.

The Beast roars as both he and Ira turn on Taylita, though it is the Persona that lunges forward to attack, bringing down a massive fist onto the Saiyan.
Taylita      Taylita may have been able to control herself, but when she is able to breathe again she is left coughing and gasping for breath. She makes it back to her feet as Ira calls forth some sort of creature. Taylita, still clutching her throat, has just enough time to wonder why such a creature is wearing such a fancy suit and to exclaim, "Woah! What th-". Then, she is hit hard by a giant fist and sent flying back before landing on her back and tumbling backward several times.

She finally arrests her tumble, ending up in a crouched position with one arm held out at her side. She stands up again, grinning despite her coughing and the blood now seeping from her mouth. "Can't say I was expecting...*cough*...something like that." she says, then she rushes back toward the Persona and his owner (controller?) She looks like she is going to attack the Boarilla, but at the last second her form blurrs.

A moment later, she is above Ira. Already in the process of a flying somersault kick, aimed downward at her head. If it hits, it is likely to create another crater like the last time Taylita managed to pin Ira against the ground with a foot.
Ira MacNally     The Beast seems to linger, though as he does, he looks slighty ethereal when not actively attacking. It continues forward-not running, but walking with big, loping steps on its two thick legs that look like they might burst from the confines of the fancy suit at any moment, yet somehow don't.

"This is my Persona! This is me!" Ira declares, "This is The Beast!"

Were Taylita actually have hit the Persona, she'd discover that it definitely is corpreal to a degree. But, perhaps instinctively, she decided that attacking the user directly was the better plan. Her judgment is spot on here.

Ira's eyes widen as Taylita seems to vanish on her. Magic? Teleportation? Pure speed? She doesn't know what, but such an ability usually lead to an attack outside the immediate field of vision. A growing shadow above her is the only tip-off she has and she is just barely able to turn herself in time, throwing both arms in front of her in an x-shaped block against the descending foot. The forearm on top fractures a little from the strength of the blow and it does produce the intended crater around Ira's feet, dropping the metal-strewn earth about a foot. Yet Ira remains standing, straining against the Saiyan's power.

Ira does nothing, remaining still, as the Beast lopes over, pulling back a meaty arm to swat Taylita out of the air.
Taylita      Taylita actually seems a bit annoyed when her attack is blocked. That attack always works! Instead, she bounces off the block, then gets swatted by the giant pigman. Taylita is able to block herself, but rather than an X-block she uses one foot to catch the Persona's wrist and uses the momentum to send herself spiraling up into the air.

Where, she stops and just floats there. "Alright, I can't lose to some random fighter in a Union-held area!" she calls out, then holds up a hand. Energy builds in it before a blue beam fires up into the air. It lasts a few seconds. For a moment it might seem like nothing happened. Until...a roar similar to when Taylita was coming toward Ira is heard. And a glance upward shows a similar blue comet thing is coming toward Ira and The Beast.

Except this one just keeps getting larger and larger, until a ball of energy the size of a bus is falling toward Ira at the speed of a meteorite. When it hits, it explodes like a small nuclear device. The blast radius is several hundred feet, and the explosion has all the power of conventional explosives combined with the searing cosmic radiation of a star. It has no red or yellow to it. This explosion has only blue and white energy, putting it on a higher energy spectrum than most other explosions.

"Staaaar Chiiiild!" Taylita is calling out nearly the entire time, up until the mushroom cloud starts to form.
Ira MacNally     "OH YOU'RE UNION?" Did she...not actually know who owned the area beforehand? "YOU KNOW THE UNION CAN ACTUALLY BUY IT BACK IF I..." she trails off for a second, seeing the energy build up, then fire upward. It gave her a bad feeling-a very bad feeling.

The blast is too big to outrun. It also doesn't seem like she has any sorts of shields to raise, The Beast offering no such abilities. All she and her persona can do are brace for the impact-which she does, becoming briefly lost in the brightness of the resultant explosion.

When the light clears, The Beast isn't visible, and Ira is down on one knee in the middle of a much, much more massive crater. Her remaining makeshift weapon is also missing, perhaps reduced to one of the many puddles of metal pooling in the crater.

With a shake, she pushes herself up to her feet, breathing hard. After a moment, she calls up, "HEY, YOU GONNA COME BACK DOWN HERE TO FINISH THIS?" But even as she speaks, her Persona is at work, scaling one of the massive spires of minerals to get the height needed to launch himself at the flying Saiyan and pound her straight down out of the air.
Taylita      Taylita stays back as her attack hits. Even she might be in danger if she was in range of her own attack. The Factory, such as it is, seems mostly unharmed. Oh, sure, rocky spires were destroyed and there is a crater in the ground, but the true wealth of the Factory is revealed by it. The many ducts that house the robotic residents of this area are revealed in a small radius around the impact point, and dozens of the little spider-bots emerge to collect materials that Taylita just knocked loose.

When the Beast comes clammering up one of those spires...well, it gives Taylita plenty of time to prepare. She catches his first attack, having to take the brunt of it, then spins and sends him falling back to the ground.

Then, she blurrs again, like she did before. But, this time she ends up right in front of Ira. Probably hoping to startle Ira with her sudden appearance. "Of course I am!" is all she says before she leaps up. She aims a knee at Ira's chin again, then follows it up with an aerial roundhouse kick.
Ira MacNally     Unfortunately, Ira doesn't seem that startled when she reappears. She's caught onto what that blurring meant really quickly and she knows that Taylita won't "waste time" attacking the beast. Though Ira does know that if the beast gets hurt, she feels it too-but no need to point that out if the Saiyan was so intent on getting up in her face.

"GOOD!" This time the knee to the chin is denied as she leans backwards just enough for it to miss. The roundhouse kick lands, but Ira manages to hunch her head down and absorb most of the blow with her shoulder and arm. It still hurts like hell but it didn't break anything this time.

A roar not unlike that of her persona escapes Ira as she suddenly lunges forward in that moment after the strike, reaching out to grab Taylita by the shoulders. She drags herself in, head hunched as she slams the crown of her head right into the Saiyan's face.
Taylita      Well, Ira has turned out to be a fierce fighter! Taylita is actually getting pushed to her limits here! But, one thing about Saiyan heads. They are hard. Like iron, really. When Taylita's shoulders are grabbed, she lowers her head instinctively, so Ira's head impacts the hardest part of Taylita's - her forehead - rather than smashing in Taylita's face. It hurts, and a bit of blood flows from the Saiyan's forehead, but it wasn't nearly as bad as it could have been!

Taylita brings her arms around and in front of her before pushing outward to break Ira's hold, then pushes Ira back before charging in with another kick, this time aimed at Ira's chest. But, she doesn't stop with one kick. She keeps kicking like she is pedaling a bicycle, following after Ira as she is kicked backward.
Ira MacNally     Two seemingly unbreakable objects collide to pretty little effect, it seems. Ira doesn't seem all too hurt by her own headbutt-not even woozy from the look of it. Rather than being caught in a grapple, she moves with the push, stepping backwards and getting ready for something. What exactly will not be seen, however.

She takes a direct blow to the chest-several in fact, that send her flying backwards and dragging along the ground until the friction of pushing up enough dirt and metal stops her. She starts to get up and suddenly coughs in her hand.

Blood covers her palm. "...well that's...new..." she mumbles before flopping backwards. "...ugh."
Taylita      Taylita lands in a crouch after the last kick, panting heavily from her own injuries and the effort of combat. She stands slowly, coughing a bit herself. Blood is flowing from her mouth and from several places along her body, but that is nothing new for her. It happens when you bring a fist to a knife fight.

Once Ira flops back, Taylita walks over, then holds a hand out in an offer to help Ira up. "Alright, now I have to kick you out. It's part of the deal." she says, smirking a bit.

She assumes Sanary is somewhere nearby, given their radio communications, but Taylita isn't about to not carry Ira to the edge of the Factory and drop her off, whether Ira agrees to it...or she is kicking and screaming the whole way.
Ira MacNally     Faintly, Ira hears Taylita walking over and at that, she starts to move, on account of not knowing if a killing blow is coming or not. If it was, she was going to be ready to fend it off, injuries or no. The lighter is still clutched in her right hand.

"Oh." she drawls, letting herself flop backwards again for a few seconds before pushing herself up, refusing the offered hand. It doesn't look like she should be standing, but she does, determined not to show any sort of weakness. She folds her arms over her caved chest, her voice sounding wheezy, "Well, go ahead." she dares.
Taylita      Taylita grins at that. "Alright." She then moves to scoop Ira up and carry her in the classic damsel-in-distress position. One arm around Ira's back, the other beneath her knees. Then, Taylita leaps into the air and starts flying toward the edge of the Factory. "What are you so upset about, anyway? You wanted to see how long it took to get kicked out of the Factory. Now you know!" Taylita says cheerfully, if a bit smugly.

Once they have reached the edge of the Factory, Taylita sets Ira down gently. Assuming Ira hasn't struggled free at some point.
Ira MacNally     "-hey!" Ira sounds indignant over this particular manhandling. She even squirms even if she might not be in the best of conditions to survive some fall damage. Taylita can feel that she's pretty worn out by the fight, though, so it doesn't get so bad that the Saiyan can't hold on.

"That one rich kid on the radio was offering me money for the Factory if I held it." she says crossly, huffing as she's set down. "Coulda used the cash."
Taylita      Taylita grunts every now and then as she carries the struggling Ira, then giggles a bit as she mentions getting paid. "There are easier..." She pauses. "..well, less dangerous ways to make cash. That syndicate network is supposed to have plenty of mercenary jobs. Attacking the holding of a superfaction all by yourself is just asking for trouble." she says once Ira is set down.

Taylita spits out a bit of blood, then grins. "Good fight, Ira. If you ever want another, gimme a call." Taylita actually leaves her private communication information, then steps back before she takes to the air again. "See you later!" she says, waving to Ira before she takes off for home.
Ira MacNally     "That's on the to-do list." Ira remarks, sitting down on the ground after she's set down. She fishes through her pockets, pulling out a battered cigarette. "That Syndicate stuff. Need to ask that Arthur guy." she sticks it in the side of her mouth but doesn't light it. "I'm gonna wait for that Sanary person to get here."

Shrugging, Ira takes out a cell phone and puts in the number, a neutral expression on her face. "Seeya."
