Lyner Barsett      Another long day, another return to Misha's apartment. Like usual, the lock on the front door clicked open, and the door followed. In strode Lyner, Knight of Elemia, in his usual cape and quarter armor. "Phew! Man, that was something else..." He muttered after letting out a huge, relaxed sigh.

As he stepped into the apartment proper, he began to undo his armor, pressing release buttons, which caused a low whirr of turns and clicks before the gauntlet and shoulder guard expanded off of him enough to be lifted off. It was set aside, and then he flopped onto the couch.

"Ahhhh...." Silence. After a few seconds, he wondered aloud to himself. "Huh. I haven't seen Mir in a while...I remember she lived here last time." Crossing his arms behind his head lazily, Lyner leaned back on the couch, talking to himself. "Wonder what she's up to now..."
Jakuri     "I still do," the dark-haired Reyvateil replies. Rather than walking in on her, for that would be far too simple, she is... Well. Hanging upside down from the ceiling. Letting herself down from an exercise bar she appears to have hung there, she drops to her feet and quirks her brow slightly. "So, are you bumming here? I'd have thought you'd be living with... Whichever one of the idiots you decide to be with." After making a brief face, Jakuri shrugs and moves to flop into the couch. "Hi."
Lyner Barsett      "BWHARGHDSHF"

That was the sound of Lyner jumping out of his seat, flailing backwards, and then crashing backfirst into a wall, finally followed by scurrying aside. "M-M-M-" Unable to get the words out due to his surprise, he just stood there, back pressed up against a wall, pointing comically.

"M-Mir! When how what why...WHY?" And what finally came from his mouth was a stream of confused gibberish as he pointed from the Reyvateil, to the exercise bar up above, then back to her.
Jakuri     "...I live here?" she replies, taking the question as 'Why are you here?' rather than 'Why are you hanging from the ceiling?' She can't help but snicker at the flailing however, looking altogether rather smug. Mir is a terrible, yes. "Do you always crap your pants when you see me, or are you suddenly afraid that there are ghosts in Misha's apartment? Although I *suppose* there was the Ghost of Dinner's Forgotten..." A wistful look plays across her face at that. Ah, memories.
Lyner Barsett      "N-Not that! I mean why are you--" Lyner stopped mid-sentence, and then just sighed. "Nevermind." And with a grumble, he got off the wall he was leaning back against and stepped forward a tad. "A-Anyway! I dont always 'crap my pants' when I see you! It's just...you were hanging from the ceiling like a bat this whole time! I didn't know you were there!"

Another deep breath to calm down, and then Lyner moved back over to the couch, flopping down with a sigh. "I-I'm pretty sure there aren't any ghosts in here. ...Maybe." Pause. "...I hope." At the mention of 'Ghost of Dinners Forgotten', the young man gave Mir a sidelong glance. "...Ghost of what now? Do I want to know?"

He probably didn't, if he remembered her cooking right.

All of that aside, he smiled. "Well, it's good to see you again, Mir! It's been, what, almost two years now?"
Jakuri     "Because," Mir retorts without any further explanation. And why should she explain?! Such simpletons! "There are no ghosts here, you dweeb. Geez." Shaking her head slightly and proceeding to curl a finger in her dark hair while lounging in her chosen seat, the Reyvateil gives an almost exaggerated yawn besides. "Oh, something like that. I imagine you're still being the big dumb hero, hmm? It always seems to charm Misha, for some reason." And yet if asked why she likes Croix, who is similar... Well. She'd sock someone one!
Lyner Barsett      "Uh, but that doesn't really-" Oh nevermind. If he questioned her logic, he'd probably get punched. Better leave that alone. At being called a dweeb, Lyner just laughed, rubbing the back of his neck in a sheepish manner. "Well you never know!" So he says.

He blinked slowly, after witnessing Mir's almost exaggerated yawn. "Are you getting enough sleep? If you aren't, then you really should! Proper sleep helps the body grow!" Nevermind that Mir wasn't going to grow anymore. "Me? Hero? Haha, no way! I'm just a guy who helps out when he can! Who actually calls themselves a hero?"

Mention of Misha got a chuckle out of the blonde then. "Haha, well...Misha and a few of her friends found me recently. I uh...well, she was pretty mad." Well, you were gone for almost two years, dork.
Jakuri     "No, I guess we don't. The Multiverse is a weird place. At least there's plenty to do." ANother shrug at that, before being asked about... Sleep? "Of course I get plenty of slee--ARE YOU IMPLYING MY BODY IS NOT FINE AS IT IS?!" Sudden eyes of thunder as Mir fixes him with a look that could kill a lesser man. Or, well. Probably Lyner too if she had eyelasers. "Idiot! Of course she was mad! I'm mad for you making her worry! AND FOR INSULTING MY PERFECT FORM JUST NOW."
Lyner Barsett      "WHOA HEY-" Suddenly feeling like a mouse in the lion's den, Lyner's hands shot up in a defensive manner. "I uh-, that's not what I meant! Really! I was just saying that, y'know! Um...UH..." What to even say? Any more and she just might blow him up.

     "......"

It was time to do THAT.

Lyner flew to the ground, bowing on his knees with his hands to the ground, head and body lowered dramatically. "I'm sorry! I didn't mean to insult your body! Please forgive me, Mir!" It was either that, or have Ar Tonelico sung at him.
Jakuri     Crossing her arms as she stands before his cowering form, for a moment Mir has a look of fire upon her features. It eases into a smirk after a moment more however, and she hops back to her seat with a smug look upon her features. "You scare too easily, for a tough guy." Giggle. Mir is TRULY a terrible. "Get up already, you're making the carpet look bad."
Lyner Barsett      "...Eh?" Lyner raised his head tentatively, peering at Mir and her smirk. ".....Gah-" He grumbled and stood back up to his feet. How /did/ Croix manage this one? If he ever met the guy, and became aware of him, he would definitely have to ask.

But that would not be this day.

With a sigh, he sat back down on the couch. "Bodies aside...what /have/ you been up to anyway? Misha said she was traveling around as a singer, but what about you?" He was actually curious. It's been forever after all.
