Alice Jones     Alice is currently wandering through the Crystal Valley as she occasionally taps out a beat on one of the crystals, causing a few chiming notes to ring out. "...Nice place." she says, though occasionally her shadow does in fact flicker. One moment it looks like her own, another it looks like a hulking, clawed figure. For a few seconds, it even splits in two. But then, this place is known to cause strange phenomena and her presence doesn't seem terribly unusual beyond the fact that she's here at all.
Alden Alden is thinking, looking at a group of cards from a trading card game, and a device in his hand. He also is seeing a couple of rather hastily and crudely built targets near a rather large crystal. "Mmm, need to figure out how to do this without help." he mumbles. He is distracted enough he does not really notice anyone else coming.
Alice Jones     Walking up to the targets, Alice sees Alden looking over them and tilts her head. "What're you doing out here?" she asks. "You're not the sort of thing I've seen that much before." as she crouches down to get more on eye level with him. "Hello!" she says, holding up her hand and then offering it to him. "Alice Jones. Yourself?"
Alden The gabumon squeaks in surprise when he realizes someone was so close!. He drops the handheld with a surprised squeak, looking even cuter than normal. He appreciates her leaning down and smiles, "I was trying to train." he says softly, pointing to the targets, and then blushes a bit, "I'm Gabumon... erm, I mean, Alden!" he says happily, lizard tail twitching, "Nice to meet you Alice."
Alice Jones     "Nice to meet you then." Alice says, standing up. "You need a sparring partner, or just trying to figure out a good exercise? Can't always have a sparring partner after all."
Alden Alden offers one hand to Alice, and smiles a bit more, tail giving as wide a wag as such a short thign can. "Either... both really." he says with a chuckle, rubbing the back of his head. "I need both things... need to learn how to fight better, practice... get stronger."
Alice Jones     "Well then." Alice says, taking a few steps back. "Come at me..." she offers as she makes a, 'Bring it' gesture. "Just be prepared for a bit of a surprise. I'm not as weak as I look. Not precisely me though, ah... You'll see." she hints.
Alden      Alden shows quite a bit of surprise at that offer, moving back and nodding, "Yeah, I learned humans are really, really really strong." he rumbles, "It's not the case where I come from." he says, even as he picks up the cards, the fallen D-Arc and places them on the cardbox on his belt. "Ok!" he chirps.

"Here I go!" he chirps, opening his muzzle. There is a blue flash, and suddenly a blue fireball is launched towards Alice, "Gabumon shot!" he somehow says at the same time. He is really starting it easy.
Alice Jones     Whabam! Alice seems to swat away the fireball with an unusual amount of ease. But as it passed her by did he just see a... Clawed arm? Must've been his imagination. Weird place with strange happenings, right? Or maybe not... "Come on, give it more oomph!" she says, "I barely felt that one. You can do better." she says, grinning. "Or are you afraid of hurting me?.." she asks.
Alden      Alden is both glad, and quite surprised, tilting his head to one side as he saw... another arm?. He blinks and sniffs the air as if to make sure they were alone. Still, he recovers rather quickly, nodding and rubbing the back of his head, "A bit." he says.

The digimon broadens his stance a bit, before a brighter glow appears in his muzzle, this time, rather than a simple fireball, a stream of blue flames flies from the open jaws towards the girl. It is a bit stronger than before, and it's a continuous stream, so it is a bit harder to just swat away. He continues for a few seconds, before he stops.
Alice Jones     And that's when Alice braces herself, and the arms appear again, the figure overlapping her and appearing about half a foot in front of her as it phases out of her torso. It's definitely something unusual, the creature though it's a bit hard to see through the light of the flames becomes more obvious once it stops and hovers to her side. It looks like a masculine figure of about a foot, maybe a foot and a half taller than she with dark blue skin, glowing yellow eyes, and black flames for a hair and bracelets. "Not trying to play games with you." Alice says, "We're partners in crime, so to speak. Inseparable, even." she notes. "Let's see how you deal with a little... Counterattack." she explains as smaller bolts of fire appear on the Stand's claws and fly towards the little Gabumon! They're not meant to harm of course, but they might sting a bit if they do hit.
Alden      Alden sees the arms properly this time... the shadowy figure!. "Who is that?" he asks, recovering his breath a tiny bit while looking at the dark colored creature, feeling a bti intimidated. At least he kept his cool to try to jump out of the way of the fire bolts with a squeak, pulling the fur cloak in front of himself as a shield of sorts. If the bolts are not too strong, they just hit the cloak harmlessly.

Alden smiles, "That was neat, didn't know humans would do that." he says happily.
Alice Jones     "Judas Priest." Alice says, "Good friend, been together for a while. Gotten me out of more than one scrape, lemme tell ya." she says, giving him a playful punch in the arm. The Stand seems unfased though. "Round two then!" she notes, "And he won't hurt you... Well, not beyond a few scrapes that occasionally come from sparring. He's not a bad guy, just a bit scary looking is all." before the Stand floats around Alice, drifting here and there. "But yeah, I guess if you consider him something other than human... Or me, by virtue of him being linked to me somehow, then humans can't. But ultimately, it doesn't matter too much."
Alden      Alden nods a few times, "That sounds very nice, so he is like a guardian angel of sorts?" he asks softly, before nodding. "Round two it is." he says. He reaches for the device in his belt, and a card, watching them for a moment, before he slides said card into the card reading slot of his D-Arc. "Digi-Modify! Evolution chip!".

. The gabumon's body glows brightly, enough to make most people look away, while his seems to break appart and reform into a far larger one. Once the glow fades, there is a fairly large (able to reach teh chest of a normal adult), and with a striking resemblance to the pelt the gabumon was wearing. "Garurumon!".
Alice Jones     "Yeah, kinda." Alice says, "Looks like a demon, acts like an angel, quite the contrast." and then grins, "Well then. You want to make this a bit more hard? I'm game." as the Stand stomps the ground and sends both of them flying as it calls out, "GURAAAAAAAAAA!" and attempts to land a relatively heavy punch on the newly modified digimon. He /does/ look tougher after all.
Alden      Alden nods, sniffing the air again with a far more sensible nose now. He barely has time to react now, jumping back while screaming "Ice wall!." A blast of blue energy emerging from his muzzle, aimed at the ground, causing ice to form and raise as a wall in front of him. It seems to block the punch, shattering, and pelting him wiht ice chunks instead, which causes a series of yelps of pain, but no other serious damage. "That was close.".

. He barely takes a moment to regain his balance, before he opens his maw, "Wolf cry!" he somehow mumbles, howling loudly and blasting Alice and Judas with a powerful shockwave, not so much a damaging attack, as attempting to push the pair away from him.
Alice Jones     Skidding back, Alice tumbles a bit as Judas fades for a moment before she stands up and he re-emerges from her body. Dusting herself off, Alice grins. "Got a good voice on ya." she says, "So what are you anyway?" she asks, attempting to run past him and strafe him with smaller firebolts.
