Alden      Crystal lake was a rather interesting spot, and very pleasant to the eyes, plus the crystals and the odd properties usually caused people to be intrigued about them!. And as such, Alden decided to roam around away from his friend's place, where he was living in, to explore some more, lizard tail swishing behind him. He was not carrying much with him, just his usual belt with his D-Arc and the deck box, and a large piece of meat on bone, which he was gnawing on. http://thumbs.dreamstime.com/z/meat-bone-5392494.jpg
Hitoshura Hitoshura found himself in a rather unusual part of the multiverse. Then again, there were so many places like that, hypothetically, so was it a usual part of the multiverse? He had heard of the unusual nature of the crystals, and wondered if they could be used as a fuel source, or perhaps charged to serve as a battery of kinds. However, this kind of knowledge of engineering was beyond him. Maybe he could take some back to Thoth (not knowing that they lose their power outside of the area).

He thought he saw something out of the corner of his eye, but wasn't sure. He didn't sense any spirits or incredible levels or power. He instinctively assumed his summoner's pose, but forced himself to relax. What was that thing? At least it wasn't hungry. It already had food, so.. maybe Hito would not be on the menu? In the distance he sees the crystal lake, and makes it a point to investigate that later if possible.

"Hello?"
Alden The digimon was small!, he is more on the side of d'aww than the 'oh god don't eat me' on the scary scale. He was facing away, and unaware of the approaching human, and the wind was not helping either, so he was completely surprised when someone greets him!. He almost drops the sizable meal, but manages tohold onto it, turning to smile at him and wave one of his paws. "Hi!" he chirps happily. He is a bit surprised at the human in uniform, more used to perhaps tourists!. Still, he is a curious digimon, so he begins to walk closer. "I'm Alden!"
Hitoshura Hitoshura smiles and says, "I'm Hitoshura, but you can call me Hito."

Hito feels a lot more comfortable now. He's used to even things the size of your fist being sentient and trying to kill you with magic on his world. "This place is beautiful," He walks closer to Alden. Since Alden is holding food, Hito decides a handshake would be a bad idea. He opens a small pouch from his pack and pulls out some slices of a purple melon. "This is part of a gift melon. They're pretty popular where I'm from." Taking a bite and swallowing it, he shows it to Alden.

"It's safe. I ate some, see? You don't have to try it if you don't want to," he says. If accepted, he will share with Alden, and if not, he will return it to his pouch, wrapped in some kind of strange metallic looking cloth. It's probably one of the tastiest, sweetest melons Hito's ever eaten. It has a faint aftertaste of licorice.
Alden Alden is not really familiar with magic, but does know some digimon that claim to cast spells. In any case, he smiles warmly in return, holding the meat carefully in one hand, and considering a handshake but... better not. "Yeah, it is, there isn't anything like this back on my home." he says, reptilian wagging behidn him. "Pleased to meet you Hiro." he rumbles out, reaching for the fruit and carefully tasting it, "It's really good!" he says, smiling broadly. "I'd offer some meat... but I know most people prefer to eat it in dishes and forks and such." he says with a grin. "It's good tho." he adds.

Alden looks around for a moment, "Are you a tourist?" he asks curiously, pleased that someone approached, rather than decide he might be dangerous.
Hitoshura Hito smiles again and says,"Yeah, that's okay. That melon was all I needed. I ate a little while ago. You never know when you're exploring and going to get hungry."

"Tourist? Yeah, kinda. I heard these crystals stored energy and was hoping to sample a few of the small ones. Thoth could probably research them, but yeah, I heard how beautiful it was here and thought I'd find out for myself." Hito looks around a little.

"Someone said there was a lake? Can you show it to me?" Hito asks. Hito is used to non-humans and non-humanoids instead of humans, so he's pretty comfortable with Alden. He's probably more relaxed around non-humans, just because there weren't many humans left in the Vortex World.
Alden Alden nods a few times and takes a bite of the meat!. It looks... it's hard to tell what kind of meat it is, it looks more like a generic representation of cooked meat than anything in particular, it does smell nice!. The mention of a lake makes the digimon grin, "Yeah!, it's not too far." he says, pondering for a moment at his new friend, "If you give me a second to finish this, i can give you a ride." he offers, starting to eat the meat quickly until the bone was picked clean. "I insist." he adds, before he can protest on teh offer.

The digimon takes a few steps back, and licks his nose, reaching into the deck box, picking a card, and slashing it through the odd handheld on his belt. "Digi modify!, super evolution chip S!". As soon as those words come out, his body bursts into light, and by the time it fades, he is replaced by... a fairly bigger creature.

Hito might notice that the quadrupedal... wolfish creature looks remarkably like the pelt Alden was wearing, except... bigger!, the wolf as tall as a normal adult, or almost. "Don't be scared." he says softly, realizing he shoul dhave warned Hito before doing this.
Hitoshura Hito says,"That's pretty cool. I'm actually used to riding. My partner Cerberus gets me around pretty quick. You look a bit faster than him, though"

Hito tries to ride Alden, if that's okay with him. He's not exactly sure where to hold on, but he seems like he's experienced in riding animals. Maybe he can hold on with his legs? Cerberus had a mane, so that was a little easier.

"Okay, I think I'm ready. Thanks for showing me," he says.

What he doesn't say is how he's impressed with Alden's ability to change forms. It's a good thing Alden wasn't hostile. Without a partner, Hito probably would've been in trouble. He feels a little nervous for some reason riding Alden, but decides that if nothing else, he'll get up if he fails off. What other forms is Alden capable of?
Alden Alden perks his ears, "Oh, cerberus!..." he barks, thinking of a digimon he met, Cerberumon, "Is that some big dog with multiple heads?" he asks curiously, even as he waits for Hito to get settled, "Careful with the feathers on my shoulders, they might be a bit sharp on the edges, you can grab onto my ears, as long as you don't yank too hard.". The 'wolf' fur was soft, and he seemed to know how to handle a rider, so the trip goes without a hitch.

It is not long before they reach to the edge of the lake, skidding to a halt, the wolf panting a bit as he slowly lowers himself. "Hope that was ok.". If asked, Alden might gladly mention having a couple more forms.
Hitoshura Hito shakes his head,"Not exactly. Cerberus is more like a large lion with a metallic tail. Not the traditional cerberus." He holds onto the ears very lightly. He becomes more comfortable as the trip proves to be without difficulty.

He carefully hops off Alden as they reach the lake and says,"Thanks. Do you need an energy boost? I've got a skill for that. How did you do that transformation thing? Do you have any other forms? I can't change like that, but I can summon partners that help me do different things. Although, I doubt you'd want to see that, and they might get irritated at me for summoning them without needing them,"

A quick 'dia', a curative spell, would ease the fatigue of the run, if Alden needs it. If not, Hito takes a good look at the lake. It's everything it was said to be, and more. "Wow. This place defies description,"
Alden Alden seems to be doing well enough, even if he is curious about the magic. "Oh, you can do spells?" he asks curiously, that long, whippy ail wagging, "That Cerberus sounds awesome." he says. If at any point the Garurumon looked like a fierce, regal beast, that illusion was long gone when the canine sat on his haunches and itched his left ear, tongue hanging from his muzzle.

The barrage of questions makes him smile, "I am a Digimon, almost all digimon can do that." he says, "I used my D-Arc and cards." he adds, tilting his head to expose a collar, which used to be his belt in a smaller form, and the device he used earlier. "I do, two more shapes, stronger than this one." he adds, before chuckling, "I admit to be curious, but I don't want to annoy your friends." he says, the big dog turning to face the lake, "It's really pretty, and so are the stones, but I heard they kind of lose power if you take them out of here."
Hitoshura Upon being asked about magic, Hito says,"Yeah, a few elemental attacks, some healing and enhancement and hexes with Parvati, and a few other minor things. Thoth is the real magic expert. He's descended from an Egyptian god, or so he says."

"Diggymon? Oh, Digimon. Huh, that's pretty cool." Hito notes the collar and listens carefully to the explanation. He looks at the lake for a while. It's so relaxing he could almost fall asleep. He finds a place to sit where he hopefully won't get his uniform dirty.

"Yeah, I could probably summon Parvati, if you want. She's the friendliest of all of them. She's a real goddess, too, or so she claims." Upon hearing about the crystals. "I might take a small one. Once it loses its power, I want to see if it can be charged with other sources of energy . Thoth can probably make his own crystals off this one. Just for research. I'm always bringing him home interesting finds. I don't have any plans for them," Hito confesses.

"Do you think that would be okay?" He asks.
Alden      Alden tilts his head and smiles to him, "A goddess." he muses, before nodding, "If you think she won't get too mad at me." he says happily, wagging slowly, yawning as he was getting kind of relaxed too. "I don't think peopel might mind, there are enough crystals around, if you can get one." he says with a grin, "The important ones are the huge ones, or so I was told."
Hitoshura Hito stands up and claps his hands together. "All right, one goddess coming up,"

His tattoos and eyes glow a seafood green, and he chants,
"Consort of the Destroyer,

Goddess and Mother,
Matron of Hearth and Home, Hisppear before me, Parvati!"

A summoning circle forms on the ground nearby. There is a sweet diffuse of incense, and a bronze skinned goddess in a brightly colored sari suddenly hovers several feet off the ground. She is clearly Hindi, if such a designation exists in the multiverse. The circle fades, but the goddess remains.

"Hito," she says. "Are you in need of healing?" looking him over in concern. She looks at Alden and asks,"Is this one of your friends? You're not replacing Garm, are you?"

"This is Alden; he's my friend, a digimon. I thought maybe you'd like to meet him, and get a quick look at this beautiful lake," Hito says.

"Sure, but I must return shortly if I am not needed. I have my own business to attend to," she says sweetly, "Hello, Alden."

Alden Alden lets out a rather cute yip at the magical circle, getting on all fours and sniffing curiously, before the hindu goddess appears!. He... looks like an oversized, happy dog at the moment, with his tongue hanging out, and that odd tail wagging around. "Hi!, I am Alden." he barks happily, doing an awkward bow, "Nice to meet you Parvati." he offers.
Hitoshura Parvati smiles and says,"It is a pleasure to meet you Alden. What a lovely place," she says, looking over the landscape. "I really must be going though." She laughs almost musically. "What a wonderful place the multiverse is." She curtsies to Alden, and then disappears in a flurry of blossoms.

Hito grins and says,"Yeah, I'm pretty lucky. She's an amazing healer." He gets his gear together," I'd better go. I've got something I've got to take care of on Ai. You ever feel like hanging out again, let me know. Or if you ever need some help healing or just defending your turf, I'm your man.Do you have a radio?" Hito attempts to give Alden his private radio frequency, however that works.

He digs up a nearby small crystal, and puts it in his bag. "It was good to meet you, friend," Hitoshura," Again if you ever need my help, just radio me," Turning to go,"Bye Alden, hope to see you again soon,"
Alden Alden seems to find the godess cute, sniffing at her, and bowing again before she fades, leaning to nose at the blossoms left by her departure, "That was rather nice." he says, grinning widely and offering the friendly human a nuzzle on the cheek. He nods, "I do, I talk on the radio sometimes." he barks happily, "I hope you have a safe trip!" he says.
