Konoe Kanno      It has been nearly a week since the group went to Takamagahara, and faced off against Masakatsu in front of the Palace of The Sun. A fierce battle was had, and several questions were raised. Where was the Sun Goddess? Why was Konoe with them? What were they after?

They did not get the answers they sought then, due to interference from an unknown source. One whose name is only partially known as 'Waka'.

Well, it seemed that it would be time for answers to come. Off in the Forest of Magic, at Marisa's place, a certain miko laid at rest. A spot was cleared out for her among the mess, and a futon was placed down with the unconscious cat laid atop it. How thoughtful.

After several days of nothing, nothing, and more nothing... she stirred. "....Nnh..." Slowly, her red eyes fluttered opened. "....?" Blearily, Konoe stared up at the ceiling. Then she looked left, and then right. "....Where...?" A moment's pause, and then the cat recognized the mess. "Oh- Marisa-san's place..."

     When did she get here?

She sat up, rubbing the side of her head. "Marisa-san? ...Hello?" Is anyone here?
Alice Margatroid     Alice was in the "living" room, asleep on whatever passes for a couch here. The Dollmaker's without Hourai and Shanghai today, opting to leave them back at her cottage. When Marisa told her that the cat was rescued, she hurried on over and spent the night, she had many a question for the Mikokitty and she was determined to get some answers... and maybe a hug out of it. Though, it's not until Konoe starts calling out for someone that she stirrs from her rest.

Sleepy eyes look around for the source of the noise. "Mmph?" comes the sleepy voice of the dollmaker, rolling over a bit to get a better view of who is saying something, though, through her sleep induced haze, she recognizes something that vaguely looks like a red ribbon... "Re..imu?" she bolts awake, "Eh?!"
Konoe Kanno      Blink blink.

"Reimu?" Konoe froooooowned. Her ears flattening forward at that. "Who are you calling Reimu, Doll Creep?" she retorted, giving the Dollmaker a frown. After a moment, she lightened up and managed a small smile. "....Hi." And she averted her eyes. "....." Sigh. "...I guess I owe you and everyone else an explanation, don't I?"

     Yes. Yes she did.

Another sigh, and Konoe produced a talisman with a flick of her wrist. On it was the character for 'communication'. She spoke into it. "Um...whoever was at Takamagahara...please come to Marisa's house. I ...owe an explanation." And then the talisman burned up into nothing.

     ...Now to wait.
Kazuko Kawakami      Kazuko, as promised, arrives at the cottage good and early, and the martial artist is on her best behavior today! Sort of. She's not ransacking anything looking for snacks, at least, and she's left her naginata at the door just in case there's no room for it inside. She can still remember that barrage of ice and stars and lasers rather vividly, although the whole situation felt like something that'd be out of place even in her own world.

All the more reason to look into it now that she's in someone else's. How did she get in, though? It's probably easier not to think too hard about that. At least she's remembered to leave her shoes at the entrance with her weapon. Hearing noises from one of the rooms further inside, she hurries towards where Konoe and Alice are waking up, peering in at the two with a bright grin. "Hi! Are you feeling any better, Miss... Cat lady? And..."

Kazuko peers at Alice closely, circling around the two before settling in and holding her hand out to pat their heads experimentally. "Are you from Germany or Canada?"

It makes more sense in her head, at least.
Yuna Kagurazaka As luck would have it, Yuna even remembers where Marisa lives, after the whole series of 'demon invasions' here and there around the Multiverse. And she doesn't need her cruiser, or even her Light Suit ... but that doesn't stop Elner from accompanying her to and through Gensokyo.

She also brought snacks, because getting beaten up leaves *her* hungry once she finishes sleeping it off (especially if it was bad enough to break through her Light Suit's usual protection). Nothing too special - probably onigiri procured at the human village. She leaves her shoes in the entryway as well, along with the umbrella she brought to use as a parasol, and hopefully one of the dolls will show her to Konoe's room (if Marisa herself doesn't). Or she could just follow the voices.

"Good evening," Yuna greets those who arrived ahead of her, bowing politely and then offering the box of onigiri to Konoe. There's plenty to share, but if the neko-miko doesn't want to share, that's up to her and Yuna won't take it personally. She might get hungry, but she will refuse to take it personally.
Staren     Staren arrives at Marisa's house via broom. He's /not/ wearing his winter assassin's cloak and scarf, in fact he's not even wearing his labcoat, just a T-shirt and cargo shorts. "Hey!" He knocks on the door. "I'm here, and it's hot out!"

Once let in, Staren glances over the others here, nodding in greeting, then looks to Kanno. "So. What's this explanation?" He also looks for a place to sit.
Sarah Parsle "Suuuuup."

You thought you were safe. You thought you wouldn't have to deal with her. YOU WERE WRONG. Because Sarah Parsle likes to point out why you don't get good things. At the moment, the ecto-youth has approached, looking over those present and folding her arms. She slurps loudly from that drinky hat she's been wearing here constantly, but at least this time she's also using the environmental insulator belt Staren gifted her too... Which means now she more or less really is doing it just to be annoying. "I can't wait to hear why a cat was dancing on a hot gold roof and getting all tied up by her own people, presumably."
Alice Margatroid     Perk. Doll creep? There's really only one person who calls her that, and that was a very specific cat miko that's plagued her existance since entry into Gensokyo... the very same one that Alice missed. It doesn't take too long to see Alice go from couch to wrapping her arms around Konoe tightly, "Konoe! I missed you!" something was strange here. "Y.. you do owe me an explination, a lot of explinations! Where have you been, what got you? You had me worried!"

Then... people show up. Alice blinks... then lets go and quickly returns to the couch, "Don't do that again, Fake Miko, running off and dissapearing like that..." she humphs a bit, "But I'm glad you're okay and you're home again." a quick look towards those who showed up, only one was visibly familiar, two were familar via audio... and one was... wait, Canada? "I"m from neither... I'm from Gensokyo. Makai to be specific..."
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa is a bit late in arriving at this point but she is here at the mention of Doll creep that gets kotone drowning a bit but she wisly holds her tongue on the issue. She does not seem to o happy about the terminaologuy but given they want ot explain things she's going to hear them out. The young Cyborg crosses her arms and gives them a bit of a look as she waits to hear what they have to say. "So just what is going on Konoe?"
Marisa Kirisame This is Marisa's house, so it's only expected that Marisa has TOTALLY BEEN HERE THIS ENTIRE TIME. But... But where? Where in Marisa's home is the witch?

The answer might be given by the delicate rustling of a pile of precariously perched junk just off to the side of her lamplit living room. Suddenly, that pile TOPPLES OVER, and the witch emerges from... a door? There was a door back there? But how did she get in there to begin with?

"Oh," she says, peering into the room, and at all the people OCCUPYING HER SPACE and BREATHING HER AIR. There's a beat as she waves off some of the noticably spearmint-green fumes wafting from down below and gingerly closes the door behind her. She shuffles the pile more or less back into place before addressing the elephant in the room.

"I guess Konoe got back up, huh? Unless you guys are all just here to bask in my radiant personality." She turns, peeking over in Konoe's direction. Looks like she's up! Good! "So, explanations! I'll go get ready." By that, it seems she means 'pick a cushion off a nearby pile, set it down near Konoe's bed, and plop herself down.' "Okay," Marisa grins, "Ready!"
Konoe Kanno      "Wh-!" Konoe opened her mouth to say something, but then a blue and blonde blur tackled her back onto the futon. "A-Alice, I..." She wheezed. "...can't breathe." Whoops. Thankfully the Dollmaker got off once people started showing up, and Konoe sat up as well, catching her breath. "...Sorry." She offered quietly to Alice before looking towards ...Kazuko?

A headtilt followed. "...Canada? Germany? What's that?" No really, what is canada? What is germany? God damn it Wanko! Yuna arrived next, and the miko smiled. "...Hello Kagurazaka-san." The offered box of onigiri is accepted and opened. "...Oh." And then her stomach growled. "....." Red stained her cheeks. Okay, she hasn't eaten in a while. Without hesitation, she took one out and began wolfing it down.

The box was handed back, others could have some if they wanted. And then came Staren. "Hi, Staren-san." Konoe managed between bites of riceball. "About that. I-" And here cooooooomes Sarah! "....." Well, at least Sarah was still Sarah, no matter what. Konoe smiled and nodded. "Hi, Sarah-san. Thank you for your help back then." Really. And then came Marisa and Kotone. ...Well, Marisa being here was expected. Who knew where anything was in this jungle?

A sigh followed after she down the onigiri and then folded her arms in her lap. "Now... Where do I begin...?" She looked up at the ceiling, thinking on it for a few moments, before starting. "I guess from the start." A nod. "Well, you know about that island in the sky. Takamagahara. Intense sunlight, and so on." Let's get the basics out of the way. "Well, I saw it floating down from the heavens one night, and... I had a strange feeling. I had to go and check."

She chuckled wryly. "I actually left Marisa's house just like this back then too..." That's right. "Well...I flew up to Takamagahara by myself, and...well, I met everyone. Haruyama and Akiyama-kun were playing outside. Kuma-san was training at the stairways too. He tried to challenge me to a fight, but I just refused." She giggled a bit at the memory.

"The castle was unguarded. Masakatsu-san wasn't outside. In fact, he, Amenohohi-san, and...my sister, were all waiting for me." She paused at that, letting it all process for now. People needed time to absorb information and ask questions.
Yuna Kagurazaka Yuna does take an onigiri from the box - they're fairly big rice balls, and even a normal-size onigiri takes a while to eat if you're being halfway cautious about it - and then sets the open box on a nearby table, or if there is no table, passes the box around to the others while listening. She bows her head in greetings to the others as they arrive, particularly Marisa herself, and other than that, mostly listens to Konoe's story.

"Waiting for you as though they expected you?" Yuna asks when Konoe pauses. "And ... ah, is your sister the one whose name starts 'Waka' and tries to drown anyone who says more than that? Or is that somebody else? I tried to do some research, but there are literally too many kami for anyone to keep track of ..."
Marisa Kirisame "Soooooo just throwing this out there," Marisa suggests as she reaches around a nearby Pile Of Stuff to fish out a... Tea set? It has a little stand to put a pot on, too. Somehow, it's ALSO already full of water. Marisa sets the pot onto its platform, slides a distinctly octogonal block underneath it, and snaps her fingers.

A little green flame lights up underneath the pot as she sets it to boil.

"But I'm betting here that your sister is the mastermind behind this whole mess. And if we beat her up, we'll proooobably fix things, right?" She inclines her head and delicately leans over to pick a single sheet of paper off the top of one stack and sliiiides it over. There's a pen, too! "Can you write her name, or will trying turn my living room into a flood zone?"
Staren     Staren listens attentively... he looks confused as Konoe stops, and then /more/ confused at the others. "You're kidding? Is that seriously a thing? Geeze. So do we just call her Captain Soggy Bunnies then?"
Kazuko Kawakami      So many familiar and unfamiliar faces! Kazuko takes one of the onigiri and gives Yuna a grateful grin in-between bites of rice, listening intently once Konoe starts speaking. She can explain to the fox what those two things are later, but first: Priorities!

Of course, a lot of it might just be going right over the young brawler's head. "Mm.. So you went up to look into that weird floating place when the sun was getting super hot, you didn't fight a bear, and then you found your sister up there?" A bite, then a low hum. "But the guy I didn't see that got blown up wasn't there... Um. What about Kusubi?"

Somehow, she's remembered /that/ name. Or rather, that nickname. "And.. Yeah, so who do we have to go to to get this all fixed? Your sister, or one of those other people like Masa?"
Konoe Kanno      Konoe nodded to Yuna. "Yes. I don't know when she put that spell on me. ...It might have been that time when she hugged me." Frown! "But...yes, she put it on everyone else before the plan started. As insurance. She didn't want anyone talking before it was...time."

Marisa gets a look next. "........" Silence ensued. "...W-Write her name?" She averted her eyes, looking horribly shocked. "....(Why didn't I think of that!?)" Once the shock wore off, she gave a hesitant nod to Marisa, as well as a shake of the head to Staren. "I...I think I can write it. I've been practicing my writing a lot. I just can't say her name. But the seal might not transfer to writing."
Alice Margatroid     Sister? "I wasn't even aware you had a sister." she comments, listening to more of Konoe's story. An island floating down from the heavens. She picks up an offered onigiri, nibbles on it a moment and ponders a few things... "Unguarded? So why is it that when we went there to look for you... and try to convince them to move..." wait, it's Gensokyo, you know the answer, Alice. "What did you feel that you needed to go up there alone and without Marisa or myself? You know we would have gone with you."

And it probably would have saved Alice a lot of worrying.

Alice blinks at the suggestion to write the name. "Why does this seem a bit worrying to me."
Yuna Kagurazaka "Or you could write the parts of it that come after the first two syllables," Yuna suggests. "I mean, we know how the name *starts*, just not what comes *after* that ..."
Sarah Parsle "Anytime." Sarah replies. "I've been on the bad side of enough horrorterrors." She looks over at the others, then back to Konoe. "Your sister. Okay. So what's the point of all this? It's kind of stupid that she's trying to kill people who say her name. If you want to make it a surprise, don't tell your damn minions what it is."

She shrugs. "That's your solution to /everything/, laser witch." Sarah mutters. "Also, if her silly thing doesn't work on writing, that's a hilariously bad curse."

Yeah, you can more or less expect her to snark the entire time. "How about we play charades? Maybe do a rebus?"
Marisa Kirisame "Ahahahaaa, yeah," Marisa smirks and sort of... jabs at Alice's flank with a playful poke, "You know all about runnin' off and not telling what you're up to, don'tcha Alice?"

That friendly little barb done, Marisa turns her attention back to Konoe, "Well, it was either write it out, or you give it to us in code, but that would've been all kindsa inconvenient. So let's try it like this, first! Or just tell us parts in chunks here and there and we'll put it together or something."

"Soooo other question," Marisa says, leaning over CONSPIRATORIALLY. "All those other people up there are guys. And they're all her little brothers, right?" She smirks, because she is COMPLETELY AWFUL. "So did she call you up there for a reason, or did she just want a little sister to gossip with?"
Staren     Staren blinks. "Wait a minute... she /shows up/ wherever someone says her name? Why not just summon her into a trap? Or trap her in a large but strong container so she crushes herself with water when she tries to flood it?"
Konoe Kanno      At Kazuko, she gave a mildly incredulous look. "A bear? ...Oh, you mean Kuma-san. His name is Kumanokusubi. You might have seen him. Really big sword? Blue robes?" She gestured to make her point. "But... Well, that person you didn't see was Masakatasu-san, yes. He..." Pause. "...Did you defeat him? If you did, don't worry. He'll...be back. They all come back."

And then to Alice, Konoe sighed. "...I didn't know I had a sister until I went up there. But it's more than that." She hesitated for a moment. "...I also have a mother." She paused think on how to continue with this. "You remember when I asked you what having a mother was like? ...Well, it turns out that...um, apparently the Sun Goddess is my mother. Long with my sister, Masakatsu, Amenohohi, and Kumanokusubi. She's their mother as well." Pause. "You know her as Amaterasu."

And then Sarah. "I have no idea. I never thought about it because...well, it seemed obvious." And then a frown followed. "I think she just likes being mean though. She does mean things to the fairies in the castle when she's bored, and she's always telling off our brothers. I don't think she's evil, but...she... is who she is."
Staren     Staren listens, interjecting an "Aww, nuts!" when she saus Masakatasu-san can respawn.

"So, what are they doing, and how do we stop them?" He's very goal-oriented.
Alice Margatroid     "I WAS RIGHT!" she slams a hand into her lap.. "He told me I was wrong..." she's only interrupted from this revelation by Marisa's jab. "It was just that one time, Marisa. You're not going to let that incident go, are you?" she shakes her head and turns back towards Konoe, "I do remember. But I don't remember mother's stealing their children back..." a pause, thinking about Shinki. Nah, she wouldn't do that, would she? "Well.. she did ask if I ... No, getting off topic, sorry."

She leans back and listens more, wondering what she's going to have to do to them..
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa is listening now but doesn't seem to be going for the food, she's leaving it for those who can make better use of it than she can. She's clearly listening to what's being said here.

"Okay so wait you got here before the rest of us did?" She pauses with intrest on this. "So it's a family matter then? I thiunk I see where this might be going, and Amaterasu. This is getting more heavy than ... I thought."
Konoe Kanno      Konoe nodded to Yuna and then produced a blank ofuda with a flick of her wrist. "I'll... give it a try." She focused, and characters began to form onto the paper. ...Or, well, they had started, but then suddenly a gurgling started up from her throat. before the first letter could write itself. "...ghfk!" Nope! Nope. She dropped the talisman and immediately ceased. "Okay...nevermind. It covers writing too." Shame. That would have been a nice loophole. Someone was thorough.

Marisa gets a mild glare. ".......No. She didn't call me up there to have someone to gossip with! She didn't even know I was here until Takamagahara got close enough!" Seriously, you and your dumb questions, laserwitch! "A-Anyway... Here's what's happening..." She took a deep breath. "My sister lowered Takamagahara down into Gensokyo in order to expose it to sunlight. This is being done in an attempt to rouse mother from her sleep. It's been a really....really long time since Amaterasu went to sleep. And so everyone wants to see mother again. But nothhing they've tried has roused her spirit out of slumber."

Konoe gestured to the burning sunlight outside. "By exposing the palace to sunlight, it was our hope that she would wake up. And she's actually been stirring." A pause followed. "...What we didn't think would happen was that mother's sleeping spirit would intensify Gensokyo's sunlight and make...well, this situation as it was." She bowed her head. "I'm sorry! Even though it happened, my sister said to keep it going. And then she ordered all of us to be prepared to defend the place."

"I...don't want Gensokyo to burn, but I also want to see my mother wake up. That's why I've been helping them."

She gestured to her hair and tails after. "You probably noticed by now, but this happened when I stood in front of my mother's sleeping spirit. Something....resonated, and my hair turned white. I haven't been able to turn it back. So...I think it might be here to stay."
Sarah Parsle "Someone's a douchebag." Sarah verbalizes the actual thoughts that go through her head when she sees Konoe begin to choke when she tries to exploit the loophole that wasn't a loophole.

Sarah does lean over as she looks over the changed hair color. She reaches out and pats the catmiko. "It's okay. People like white hair." She says. It's not all that comforting. "So..... I gotta ask. Why Gensokyo? Can't you just use any sun?"

She looks over to Staren, then. "Hey catscientist. Can you has solar power?"
Staren     Staren scratches his head. "So that's what he meant by 'we need more time'..." he nods to Sarah, "She's got it..." he looks to the neko miko, "Are you sure /Gensokyo's/ sunlight is required? You could just take your mother out to some world noone's using and expose her to all the sunlight you want. Or, if Gensokyo's sunlight /is/ required, or you need to shine it on the palace... we could set up an array of mirrors to focus more sunlight on the palace, and cut the time needed down to a fraction!" Staren smiles.
Sarah Parsle Sarah points. "Maybe we can use that super weird mirror that one asshole had." She says. "That thing looked like it was heavy duty."
Marisa Kirisame     "I don't let anything go, my dear puppetteer. It only looks that way because I stop paying attention," Marisa answers with a cheery chime, "Until something reminds me, and then I pounce right back on it. Like the world's pounciest cat."

But, plot. PLOT. Accursed plot.

"So you're kind of like the other gods we beat up? Reincarnated after... Something or other?" It's not the weirdest thing to ever happen in Gensokyo. That dubious honor (at least within recent memory) still belongs to that one time actual UFOs showed up. That was weird.

"Well, whatever, you look cute with white hair anyway, so don't get self-conscious about it," Marisa continues, pouring herself a cup of... purple tea. Purple? What tea is purple? It smells... pungent. It steams suspiciously. "Anyway, if that goddess needs to be woken up, and if sunlight is what'll do it, then you're in luck! 'Cause yours truly has been working on a SECRET WEAPON that might just be enough to wake up even the sleepiest goddess. And if brightness is a problem, well!"

Marisa PUFFS OUT HER CHEST! It's still not very impressive. "I'm the brightest person in Gensokyo! So if anyone can wake her up, it's me." Or Okuu. But Marisa may have already accounted for that.
Staren     Staren shrugs optimistically at Sarah, then smiles at Marisa's proclaimed brightness. "And if that doesn't work, maybe someone could find Utsuho to make all the suns you could want!"
Yuna Kagurazaka Yuna headtilts a bit at Konoe casually dropping the bombshell that not only are the gods they were fighting Konoe's brothers and sisters, but that their mother is *Amaterasu the Sun Goddess herself*. And that in turn means ...

"So you're a goddess yourself then, Konoe?" the blonde wonders. "Does that mean 'Konoe' is just the name you use among mortals, or relative mortals at any rate?" Then Yuna looks at Marisa, either skeptical or just flat-out worried. "You're going to try waking her up with a laser-level beam of sunlight, aren't you ..."

It's not exactly a question.
Alice Margatroid     "I asked that the last time and they couldn't move... I even was looking for other places for them to go to and I couldn't find anything." seriously, she did ask about other sunny places that might work. "I mean, unless you want to try to pitch that to them. Though, what guarantee do you have that ..." she thinks, array? "mirrors would even work in that way."
Marisa Kirisame "NOPE!" Marisa grins, "It's a /SECRET/ until I deign to grace the world with its peerless brilliance." She tosses back her tea and then ~beams.~ "And even if it doesn't wake her up, it'll at least be fun to watch, right?"
Yuna Kagurazaka "Being the 'brightest thing in Gensokyo' *would* have to mean its brilliance is peerless," Yuna observes wryly, finishing her onigiri (having been eating slowly, almost nibbling).

She's pretty sure that Staren's idea with mirrors would indeed work, but she's going to let him answer Alice. Most of Yuna's attention is still on Konoe, anyway.
Staren     Staren shrugs. "We don't, but it shouldn't be /that/ hard to implement..." he stares off into space. "Should it? Failing that, I could try to do some conceptual analysis and see if I can figure out what part of the sunlight we need and some other way to get a bunch."
Marisa Kirisame "Well yeah," Marisa agrees cheerfully, "That's why I said it. I wouldn't've called it peerless if it wasn't, you know!"

She's almost.. Infuriatingly difficult to deflate.
Sarah Parsle "We don't." Sarah proclaims with a dark glee in response to Alice. "But hey, we've got a couple choices: Blow up the Palace, or give it what it needs. I don't think Konoe wants us to blow it up. Either way, we need to get sunlight to go onto the Palace instead of everywhere else."
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa says "Well if ut really bothers you I know some good brands of Hair Dye, if it's relaly abother still this is a problema nd re you sure tht would work I'm not sure how well science works out this way. I'm still shocked my body works here to be perfectly honest. Still it is is an idea maybe we could try."
Staren     "We don't even need to make, like, some kind of sky mirrors or giant reflector dish... we could just spread nanomachines over neaby uninhabited areas, that will grow angled reflector mirrors..." Staren blinks at Kotone. "Why wouldn't your body work here?"
Konoe Kanno      Konoe looks at Yuna. "Um...Am I? I don't know. I don't feel very...goddess-like." She wasn't that strong either. But it would explain why she was able to control fire and heat, maybe if she actually tried, she could control sunlight? ...Hah, maybe not. She was still too soon for that.

Marisa's comment about being cute earns her a glare from Konoe. "Sh-Shut up. ...I'm not cute." And she looked away, cheeks turning red again. She would always deny that. "...I don't know who I am. I don't remember anything. But my sister and brothers tell me I'll remember eventually. Something must have happened to make me forget... But I'm not worried about it right now."

Staren and Alice are given looks after. "Um...I'm not sure if that mirror thing would work, but... I'm willing to give it a try. She smiles back to Staren, and then nods at Alice. "I...think Amenohohi was just being obstinate. It's more work to move Takamagahara elsewhere. ...They just want to get the job done and wake mother up again." She sighed. "They...don't really give life the same weight as we do."

Kotone gets a nod. "Hair dye? ...Um...I guess. It looks weird, but... I think it would be a pain to dye my tails..." Seriously. Look at them. They're huge and fluffy. "A-Anyway, I-"
Konoe Kanno      There is a flash of light, and whatever Konoe was saying was immediately cut off.

"Once the light faded away, everyone would see that Konoe's eyes were now a glowing blue. "...Hello, little insects." Her voice echoed out, with a different, older feminine voice layered on top of it. "...I see you've been having quite a bit of fun with my dear, little sister."

     It was a possession spell.
Alice Margatroid     Alice gives a look back towards Konoe, a nod is given, "I didn't think I was incorrect.. but if it's work to move, sometimes it has to be done.. a minor inconvinence compared to the major one that's hovering over Gensokyo right now." she gives a firm nod as if her plan was the best... (It probably wasn't.)

Though when the voice that isn't Konoe's is coming out of Konoe, Alice's eyes glare, "Last I remember it was impolite to possess your siblings." she chides the possessing person, "What do you want with OUR Konoe?"
Marisa Kirisame     Suddenly, Konoe starts talking like a completely different person. It takes Marisa a moment to realize what's actually going on before her face falls. She sets her cup down onto its dish with a sharp clatter of porcelein. "Ohhhhh no," she says, "We're not having none of that."

She lifts her hand...

And, out like a shot, goes to start petting at Konoe's ears.

All the while, her expression is one of terrible, awful, god-splitting contempt. And maybe just a BIT of mirth. Because even if this doesn't work, at least she'll have had her fix of Touch Fluffy Cat for the month. It's long overdue.
Yuna Kagurazaka Yuna sits up VERY straight when Konoe's voice changes like that Or rather ... when Konoe's voice is REPLACED like that.

"She's a friend of ours," is Yuna's reply to Konoe's big sister - and she's still smiling, although it's not QUITE as warm and friendly as sometimes. "And yes, possessing somebody without their consent is rather rude, but since you're barging in on the conversation anyway, I don't suppose we could persuade you to tell us your name? If you're going to these lengths when all we want to do is help awaken Her August Radiance from an ill-timed snooze, and incidentally to get Gensokyo's weather and day-night cycle back to normal, you *could* at least let us know the proper name of the person we'll be dealing with."

She doesn't even care whether knowing the correct name confers any kind of advantage over Waka-whoever or not; if you're going to fight somebody (which seems terribly likely, particularly given Marisa's participation in this effort), you really should know their proper name and/or title.
Kazuko Kawakami      A sleeping sun-mother, some crazy siblings, and now a possession? What's a mere martial artist to do in this kind of situation where punching things isn't the answer?!

Join Marisa in trying to disturb whoever's handling the possession, probably. Shuffling along the ground towards the possessed Konoe not unlike a cockroach, Kazuko takes aim at her primary target: The tails! It's as good of an excuse as any, at least, and she gets right to work burying her face in them and petting them. As comfortable as she's getting, though, there is another trick up her sleeve in getting so close... It'll just have to wait for now.
Staren     Staren glares at Not-Konoe. And then claps his hands together once. "Ah! So you must be captain soggy bunnies." And then his ears splay at Marisa's actions. "Really? You don't have some kind of magic spell to forcefully cut her off? I mean..." he waves a hand between Konoe and Marisa. "This isn't my area of expertise, or I'd be chucking her in a magical faraday cage."
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa says "Some places magic and technology gon't get on very well or the local physics seem to change." Kotone shrugs a little bit at this. "Look I was just saying ither way STaren we need to focus on this, and it's just a thing used to colour one's hair but I do think you look good like this."
Konoe Kanno      'Konoe' smirked in a way that the real Konoe never would. Staren is looked at and she giggles. "Ehehehe, is that what you're calling me? How cute. The insects thing they've got jokes." A short laugh escapes her lips, and then she begins to say something... At least until Marisa and Kazuko INTERRUPT. "H-Hey! What are you doing? Stop! Not the ears! N-No! The tails are even worse! Hah! Hahahaha! W-Wait a second! Ahahahaha! W-Why! No! Stop! Hah! Hah!" ....She's having a tickle attack right there. Completely destroying her image. ...Well, clearly she felt Konoe's sensations during possession. Interesting information.

"Grrrah! ENOUGH!" She leapt back and away from Marisa and Kazuko. "Hmph." She fixe her hair and tails, even though they weren't her own. "Now then..." She looked at Alice. "This is MY dear little sister. And I will not allow you people to just walk away with her! That being said..." She looked towards Yuna next.

"As for you. ...My name is Wakahirume." A shrug followed. "I suppose that it's a matter of time before you stand before me. That said; I commend your respect for our honored mother. BUT... I'm afraid that I won't be moving our home even a single inch." She smiled pleasantly.

"Why? ...Because the lives all those down below mean absolutely nothing to me. We will awaken our mother. And Gensokyo can do naught but feel honored for having been given the task of sacrificing itself for our cause. There will be no mirrors, no moving, no deals. I have no reason to treat with lower life forms, after all."

     Someone was arrogant.

"I will allow you to keep my sweet little sister for now. But do be dears and sit quietly while our mother awakens. That is all." And then a FLASH follows, and Konoe blinked. Her eyes were red again. "....Eh? W-What was I...?"
Yuna Kagurazaka "........"

Yuna's smile is COMPLETELY gone by the time Konoe is de-possessed and allow to be herself again. In fact, she looks like she'd love to head back to Takamagahara right away and personally slap Wakahirume across the face until she listens to reason, 'lower life forms' or not.

She might or might not use her *hand* to administer the necessary slaps, either.

"So we have a name," Yuna says quietly. "And here I was going to start calling her 'Wakamama' if we didn't get that detail ... I might still." She lets out a breath, then looks at Marisa.

"Are you going to take your Deus Machina for the final fight? I still think it's bigger than necessary, but I'm ... seriously tempted to see if El-Line would do any good." More likely she'll stick with Flight Form, but depending on how much power Wakahirume can bring to bear, the Matrix Figure MIGHT actually be necessary - just so Yuna can get hit more than once without being blasted all the way out of Gensokyo airspace. It depends a lot on the laser witch's opinion, though.

Other than that, Yuna is attempting to keep her feelings and thoughts to herself. DELIBERATELY sacrificing Gensokyo when there are other possibilities which involve less collateral damage ... that's ... Yuna's not even FROM Gensokyo and she's not about to sit still for that - and as if proving the unspoken point, the blonde idol winds up getting up from where she's been sitting, beginning to pace about the room, rubbing her hands along her upper arms, as if - in spite of all weather-related logic - she were chilly.
Staren     "Staren glares at notKonoe, until finally she goes away. "Your sister posessed you." Staren states plainly. "I want to kill her on principle for being a tremendous jerk. She's probably going to attempt to sabotage anything we do with mirrors or whatnot..." Staren looks to Marisa with a smile. "So, I think it's time we got you a floating palace, such as the brightest star in Gensokyo deserves, right?"
Marisa Kirisame     It is actively impossible to be intimidated by anyone who you just saw almost devolve into a giggling puddle of feline bliss. Marisa shrugs off her AWFUL THREAT (!?) with the kind of brow-arched grin that only an expert in the art of the Troll could ever hope to manage. "Yyyyyyup," the witch waves the goddess off, "Just keep sayin' that lady. If you don't want to move your little floating island, theeeennnn we'll just move it for you!"

Potentially... World-breakingly.

"Don't worry Konoe," she says, polishing off what's left of her tea. "You were just possessed by your jerk-ass older sister for a second there. I was thinking of throwing catnip at you to snap you outta it, but maybe I'll save that for later.

"Eh, maybe," Marisa shrugs at Yuna. "I had other plans. I might need Lord Byakhee for somethin'... related. Like catchin' all the people we like if I end up punching a hole right through the island of the gods."

"Pfft, I don't need a floating palace. I've got my house right here and I'm very happy where I'm at," she smirks at Staren and gets up to streeetch. "It's too bright up there. Not enough darkness means not enough mushrooms. And all my stuff is down here. Nah, I don't need that thing."

"COULD claim the land and sell it to Kanako or something, though. Or park it over the SDM and charge for near-permanent night."

Is... She really thinking of using the Godly Plane as a money-making scheme?

"Aaaaanyway. I've got some prepping to do before we do this thing. I found the last bit of what I needed in some of master's old books, sooooo~" She griiiins, "Well, you'll all see soon enough."
Kazuko Kawakami      Settling back down once Konoe is freed from that spell, Kazuko grumbles as she slumps back down and finishes off her onigiri. "Wakaka's a jerk, yeah... Mm. So we're gonna have to fight her, then?" She shuffles over to where Konoe is to ruffle her tails one more time for good measure, then reaches over to hug her normally!

Relatively normally, anyway. She's feeling lazy today. "I don't know if killing her's a good idea, Mister Staren. She's still Miss Konoe's sister... But I got an idea on how to wake their mom up if I can get close!" She starts growling for a moment, but doesn't make any further sounds. A clue, perhapS?
Alice Margatroid     This right there causes Alice to frown, in a way that meant she was not in a happy mood. "Arrogant hag." she comments, hopefully before the possession ends. Alice's hands curl up into tighter fists as she produces a couple spellcards from it, one of them is definately familiar to Marisa, should she look. "I'm coming for you for what you're doing to Konoe... and come even the Shiki's judging call, I'm going to take you and your floating garbage pile out of Gensokyo."

She turns toward Yuna, "I don't know what you or anyone else is going to do but I'm going to have a few words with Wakahirume." a pause, "I just need to get Shanghai, Hourai and a few more spellcards to have my words." she grumbles, turning towards Konoe, "I'm going to take another visit to Takamagahara here shortly." then when Marisa mentions prepping, she gets a look, "Whatever you're oging to do, I'm going to help. I'm not letting this continue any longer."

With this, Alice leans over, ruffles Konoe and steps out the door, eight dolls appearing in a semicircle around the dollmaker and soon, she's taking flight.
Staren     Staren's ears splay when Marisa doesn't give the expected response, then he smiles and gives a thumbs-up when she suggests a money-making scheme.

Staren gives Kazuko a 'seriously?' look. "Regardless of who's sister she is, she stated an intent to destroy Gensokyo. She's too dangerous to leave alive, and if anyone here had the power to imprison her we wouldn't be having this problem."
Konoe Kanno      "Wh- huh? Possessed?" Konoe frowned pretty deeply, and then sighed and plopped back down onto her futon. "I didn't know she could do that." How annoying. And rude! Who possesses their younger sister like that!? Apparently Wakahirume did. "....." The miko closed her eyes and sighed.

"...I don't think I can help you. I still feel out of it, but... If you go up there to stop her...good luck." She wasn't going to beg them not to kill her sister. They came back anyway. They could take a few killings.

She shook her head. "I'd rather you didn't kill her, but...she'll come back so...don't hold back. My sister is...really strong. She can move that entire island by herself. So... Just please be careful, okay?"

     That was for everyone.
Yuna Kagurazaka "I was about to say," Yuna notes, "if we *do* kill her, she'll probably resurrect like her siblings ... but I'd rather stop short of killing her even temporarily, if we can help it."

Yep, even angry, Yuna is still trying to err on the side of mercy. It's plain enough that there'll HAVE to be a fight, though, and she's resigning herself to that fact. Or trying to, at least.
Staren     Staren rolls his eyes. "Did she sound like someone you can talk sense into? I mean, feel free to /try/, but isn't Gensokyo collectively worth more than her continued existance? We'll need to work on a backup plan to make sure she /stays/ dead. And we'll have to find someplace else to talk about it, does anyone know how she was able to listen in on our mirror plan, exactly?"
Konoe Kanno      Konoe raised a hand. "Um...it's probably me." She looked a bit ashamed. "I'm sorry... I didn't know." After a pause, she continued. "You should...have your talks away from me. She's probably hearing this too."
Marisa Kirisame "Yup yup, don't worry, I'm sure we'll all make a pretty big splash~" Marisa grins in the Aliceward direction as the puppetteer departs... And then she glances to Staren. She gives him a very, very long stare. "Maybe stop talking around the girl she's been able to possess?"

"And don't worry about Wackyhime. We'll deal with her... One way or another."

Yes.

One way... Or another.
Kazuko Kawakami      The confirmation from Konoe draws another hum from Kazuko, and she takes a moment to mull over that before nodding at Staren and Yuna firmly. "If that's the case... Then we'll do it if we have to! Even if..." She trails off while peering at Staren, looking troubled for a moment at the mention of keeping Wakahirume dead. "Yeah, that's an idea... But if you're listening, Wakaka?"

Kazuko clears throat, goes completely silent while approaching Konoe, then barks once as loudly as she can. Subtlety!
Marisa Kirisame "Eh, I'm not worried about her listening in~" Marisa chirps. "After all, we'll beat her even if she does know about our plans. Not that she's gonna hear about /mine./ But just in case she IS still listening...!" The witch steeples her fingers, "I've just got one thing to say to her."

"I hope she hasn't fixed her roof," Marisa slowly tilts her head in the most good-natured way possible, "'Cause I'm gonna blow her whole house down."
Konoe Kanno      AT TAKAMAGAHARA

     "EEP!"

Wakahirume jumped off the throne and hid behind it. "D-Damn stupid lower life forms!"

     GENSOKYO

...Konoe just blinked and took a step back.
Staren     Staren stands up. "Well, aren't you quite the big bad wolf." He nods his head slightly. "Well, I should be going. But I look forward to working together with you on this." He turns to leave. He has his own plan to start... He can't be sure stopping him /won't/ be a hassle for Captain Soggy Bunnies, after all!
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa looks to Konoe as she starts to her more about what's giong on as she gives her full name and she pauses for a moment at this point. "I respect her for what she did cultrally for my ancestors at least." Then she pauses at it doesn't seem to be Konoe and she steps back now as she moves to get her weapon ready.

"Oh is that it? Really? Guess what I don't worship you or your mother."
% Sh stands up for a moment.

"Don't count on it.... someone jacked control of your body from you. Someone asking to get their face punched in."
