Golden     Slum Urbania is not the prettiest place in the Multiverse. Actually it might be one of the ugliest places. The area has an air of black despair mixed with raw anger at the people who keep things the way they are. But there are people here too that make the best of a bad situation. This is a long broad avenue, abandoned many years ago to disrepair, called 'Main Street' by the locals, in spite of the signs that label it as 'Bleecker Avenue'. The place is part ramshackle open-air market, part housing, and part street fair. It is lively today as the locals celebrate the coming of spring with roasted rat stew and patchwork costumes painted with bright colors.
Alden      Alden was on a big 'let's see all I can see of the multiverse' mood, so he eventually found himself visiting Urbania, on what seems like a rather happy time of the year!. He hopes his appearance won't cause issues, roaming around with wide eyes as he admires the 'fair', and the stands. He was... hard to miss, even with the costumed locals.
Golden     The locals aren't just humans, but non-humans of many sorts as well. So Alden isn't really out of place, thankfully. There are certain groups of the population who alternate between calling Alden 'wicked cool' and 'super adorable'. Both types fuss over Alden for a little bit and offer him some little snack type things in exchange for his time.
Then what electric lights are present flicker, causing the crowd to pause and look around. They flicked more and the ubiquitous transistor radios that serve as information and entertainment in this part of the Multiverse squeal and spit out bursts of static. This repeats, getting longer and more frequent. People start packing things and finding shelter in the slums and shanties, unsure of what's going on.
Alden      Alden seems to be perfectly fine with either name, and all the attention!. He chirps happily, glad to talk, and accept the snacks, thanking profusely at the people, even as he makes his way down the road. He seems rather content, tail lashing behind him, gnawing the latest of snacks. The power failure makes him blink, going still, trying to focus on his 'digimon sense', or at least, scanning for anything he might be able to detect, noticing that something is... off.

As soon as he focuses, his eyes open wide, and his pupils shift for a moment... a materialization event!. He looks around several times, trying to focus on the familiar feeling, to get a ping of where exactly was this thing going to appear. He rushes tohelp the people away before whoever is approaching... pops 'in' this area.
Gaonoir The disruption attracts more attention than just those in the streets scattering for cover at the peculiar occurance. Fortunately thanks to supersonic speed and warpgates it's not hard to get to Urbania from Hikari in a decent amount of time.

Not that Gaonoir was any happier about it, glaring at the little comm window of Magnamon on the HUD of his visor as he rocketed towards the city. "This better be worth it. I've got other important things that need doing as well."
"The sheer number of iteration variables make it difficult to deter which localization the manifestation is potentially from," replied the Knight's sys-operator, unflustered by the canine's gruffness. "It needs to be checked out personally. This -is- what you were assigned there for, after all."

"Yeah yeah, I know. Just lemme do my job then." With a huff Gaonoir tapped the side of the visor to shut off the link, and bleed off a little speed with a banking maneuver to dive towards the city below.
Golden     There! In the sky! A spherical emanation of digimon script bulges outward in mid-air, the electrical disturbances and radio noise intensifying as it bulges outward from nowhere. Eyes gaze skyward at the strange phenomenon, wondering what in the world it could be.
The spheroid shatters into countless bright pixels that fade quickly from sight, revealing a blue serpent beast, with bright vermillion wings, a skull-like white dragon-face with odd truncated horn-like things, and bright orange-and-yellow feathers in a sort of cowl around its neck and at the tip of its tail. The bat-like wings flap as it gains its bearings. It smells the food on the street below and decides that the first thing it should do in this strange new world is try the local cuisine! It dives towards the wide avenue below even as people are screaming and hiding from the monster.

Alden      Alden is unaware of Gaonoir's arrival, focused on helping the people out of the way, and keeping his eyes in the sky, he is certain whatever is coming is going to appear up there!. As soon as the creature finishes realizing/materializing he grumbles, "Flying, why a flying one." He has enough time to reach for his D-Arc, and decides staying as a Gabumon is a dumb idea, so he uses his evolution plug-in card to evolve to his Adult form. Later he might regret it, but he was in a rush. Soon enough, with a burst of pixels not unlike the Airdramon's appearance, a Garurumon was there, growling at the winged serpent, and trying to intercept it before it accidentally or intentionally hurts someone.
Gaonoir Gaonoir abruptly has to veer off when the disruption manifests itself mid-air. A bit of an awkward change of direction, having to flip over the opposite way he was going to get his feet under him. The pavement suffers a bit as metal legs impact and Gaonoir scrunchs down to dig one set of fingers into the street as well to keep from skidding backwards too far.

He's got exploration missions and a mass assault to prepare for, so lets make this quick. He pushes himself back upright, clenching his hands and the large mechanical gauntlets digitalizing into existance over them as he strides in the Airdramon's direction. Really Magnamon, you dragged him out here just for a wannabe dragon Adult? Granted, she wouldn't of known what it actually was. "Hey, snake butt! Don't ya know it's rude to just stuff your face at first sight?"
Golden     The airdramon is not /small/, but nor is it an enormous digimon like some. It's about twenty feet long, with a wingspan to match. It gives Gaonoir a baleful look with its recessed red eyes.
"Aw look, it's a rude dog that's rolled around in the dirt too much! You should take a bath before you get mud all over your owner's house!" It's mouth is spewing little bits of shattered wood, plastic, and food from the little ramshackle food stand it just raided. What a messy eater. And rude! It's talking with his mouth full! The airdramon swallows what was in its mouth and addresses Gaonoir again. "How about you amscray?" And with that, the serpent's tail flicks at Gaonoir, attempting to knock the stronger digimon away. Clearly this digimon doesn't know what a MachGaogamon is.
Golden     Alden is not unnoticed by the Airdramon. It seems rather annoyed though. "More dogs! And here I was thinking I could have a nice vacation, enjoy the sights, eat some food." It opens its mouth to spew a violent gust of wind at the Garurumon, a tornado of flame and dust.
Gaonoir Gaonoir uses two fingers to pinch a fruit rine and flick it off his visor. Mistaking his dark colors for being dirty isn't very new, it's an easy assumption to make since, as far as he knows, his coloration is one of a kind. "This isn't the Digital World, you can't just go around being a jerk doing whatever you want." Maybe a little calling the kettle black, but at least he didn't go around stealing random food.

The Garurumon growling at the Airdramon probably doesn't help. Wonder if that is ... Not enough time to ponder it as the thing decides to just attack. The tail smacks against metal as Gaonoir uses one gauntlet to intercept it, then grab onto the serpent before he can yank it away again as he turns to spew hot air (so to speak) at Alden. "Hey, I wasn't done talking to you yet!" Gaonoir yanks on the tail, trying to whip Airdramon back in his direction.

And greet it's bony head with the other metal fist. "Now sit down and shaddup."

Let's face it, there's a reason he's a warrior and not a negotiator.
Alden      Alden was too slow to stop the Airdramon from landing and begin eating a stand!. He did spot Gaonoir now, hard to miss him, so he starts to feel a bit bad when the dragon digimon chooses to insult the dark colored digimon like that. Still, any thoughts on the subject get interrupted as he is attacked!. He decides to block the attack, slamming his forepaws on the ground and opening his muzzle wide, breathing ice on the ground, raising a wall of ice to try to stop the short burst of fire and wind from hitting him.
Golden     The airdramom awks! as Gaonoir whips its tail, smashing a steel-bound fist into it's skull mask thing, knocking it for a loop. It's dazed and confused for the moment!
Alden's icy breath is a natural counter to the flaming tornado that came from the large adult digimon, creating a nice cool cloud of steam when it hits the wall of ice.
The locals are cheering on Gaonoir and Alden. Something about a party for them later.
The airdramon recovers from its brief fist-induced stupor, shaking its head to do so. It flaps its wings trying to catch some air, but Gaonoir still has hold of the feathery tip of the tail. Frustrated, it growls at the black dog. "LEGGO!" and its wings flap again, unleashing two cutting edges at Gaonoir from the air power the flapping has generated. While Alden is a concern for it, the serpentine digimon is far more concerned with being caught by the tail, leaving it wide open for Alden to attack.
Gaonoir Gaonoir is trying really, -really- hard not to just pound the jerk into submission. As much of a show that would put on for the crowds cheering and probably snapping smartphone pics. But just thrashing someone for being a jerk tends to make them more of a jerk, or so he's been pointedly told a few times. Multiverse is a weird place. On the other hand, fighting is the most instinctual way for digimon to get a point across. Almost like they were programmed for it... Okay, maybe that was a little too meta.

Gaonoir grabs onto the tail with both gauntlets when the Airdramon tries to take off again, insistant on holding him down. Although that does leave him open to the air blades slicing into his shoulders. "Stubborn git aren't ya? Guess we'll do this the old fashioned way."

Gaonoir twists around, yanking on the tail and trying to whip the Airdramon away from the stands and into the street where its open. Less collateral damage is better, right? "I think you should help him cool off."
Alden      Alden is quite glad with the fact his idea worked!, and the cheering is nice. Still, he focuses on the annoying Airdramon, rushing closer, but letting Gaonoir handle the trashing beast. Still, as soon as he sees an opening, he charges throug, pouncing on the large dragon as it was whipped to the ground and trying to hit the back of the beast hard!
Golden     The airdramon is battered about by Gaonoir and Alden, thrown into a relatively clear area before the Garurumon pounces it, smashing its face and body against the broken asphalt and concrete.
"Ow! Uncle!" it shouts, clearly having had all the fight knocked out of it by the two other digimon.
Gaonoir See, fighting just helps get a point across. It's the Digimon way! Gaonoir lets go of the tail once the winged serpent surrenders, internally impressed with his own restraint. A few months ago he would of just blasted the rogue digimon, yanked out it's DigiCore, and that would of been that. But things have changed since then, mostly due to Multiversal intervention.

With a few steps Gaonoir gets closer to the Airdramon's head, if only to be able to actually look it in the eyes. Darn long lengthed digimon. "Good. Things go easier when you listen to reason. You're not in the Digital World anymore; you can't just go marauding around doing whatever you please."
Alden      The garurumon remains atop the large dragon thing a bit longer, before climbing down, and suddenly itching his left ear. He spares a moment to look at Gao, "Hey Gaonoir." he says softly, before turning his focus on the winged snake. "Yeah, he is right." he says, "Things are different here."
Golden     "How was I supposed to know it wasn't the digital world? I thought it was some other part of it with more humans." The airdramon whines.
It gets up slowly, not wanting to upset Gaonoir or Alden again, and shakes off the dust it accumulated from the fight. It looks from Gaonoir to Alden. "Not going to punch me anymore?" It asks sheepishly.
Gaonoir Gaonoir raises a brow from behind his visor a bit. 'More humans'? There were Digital Worlds were humans were an actual thing? That would give some of the purists back home fits. However he does disengage his gauntlets, mainly for show. And he's hardly defenseless without them active. "Yeah, as long as you behave. You can't just assume stuff like that, it's what gets people into trouble." A chuff and he crosses his arms over his chest. "I know the realization or whatever they call it in your world can be disorienting, but take a little time to look around. Most of these people will help as long as you don't mess 'em up."
Alden      Alden is surprised to hear 'more humans' from the digimon, and gears seem to turn in his head, before he slowly turns back to Gaonoir, "I think he comes from my... version of the digital world." he tells the Machgaogamon. He sits besides Gaonoir, tail witching. "I found out people here are rather nice, as long as you don't go around smashing their stuff... otherwise... you might end up in big troubles... trust me."
Golden     The airdramon seems suitably chastised. "Uh, okay, so where am I? And what do I do now if this isn't the Digital World?" Good questions for a newcomer to the Multiverse.
Gaonoir Gaonoir tilts his head at Alden for a moment. "Yeah, seems that way." He shrugs a bit and unfolds his arms. "Think you can handle accustoming him to things Alden?" There's a dual click as his booster engines extend back out, thrumming to just enough life to lift Gaonoir slightly off the ground. "I've got an expedition and stuff to finish preparing for."
Alden      Alden smiles and nods to Gaonoir, "I hope we can talk soon!, let me know if I can help with that!" he calls, before finally facing the Airdramon, "You are in... well, people call it the multiverse." he begins, one paw pointing around, and trying to explain at least somewhat about how it works, "We can find a gate back to our world..." he adds, slowly moving away, with the Airdramon on tow.
