Lunara Things have been rather quiet lately for Lunara, and today the dryad decides to leave her home and go wandering a bit. She never quite expected what she ultimately wandered into however. The Great Forest was certainly a sight to behold, and surely lives up to it's name. Though she is sad to see the more polluted areas that have already been cleared with no apparent attempt to clean up the land and re-plant, she moves past that to explore the healthier parts of the forest, taking a moment to wonder if this forest is really anchient or if these trees just grow very quickly, either naturally or by magic. She walks up to the trunk of one massive tree and places her hands against the bark while looking up into the far off canopy.
Fayt Ravus     The first thing Lunara would hear is the noise, the scream of damaged engines as something tears across the sky over the Forrest. A damaged freighter passes overhead, trailing black smoke behind it and it leans oddly to one side. As it flies off into the distance, something falls out the back of the ship. hitting the ground with a loud THUD very close to where Lunara is.

Somewhere, way back in Njorun, and alert goes out...
Lunara Lunara attempts to use her magical connection to nature to sense any latent power within the tree, but she doesn't get much time to dwell on the thought before a very ominous sound reaches her ears and has her looking up. She may not know much about machines, so she isn't quite sure if the black smoke is normal or not, but the craft certainly doesn't seem to be flying very well and then something falls out the back. Her eyes widen and she quickly moves to avoid being crushed by the falling crates, still jumping a bit at the thud as they hit the ground nearby. Suddenly there is a cruel looking spear in her hands as she slowly approaches, wary of what may be held within the crate.
Fayt Ravus     The crate simply sits there, dented but fortunately still sealed shut. the thicker walls and heavy joins marking it as reinforced. Apparently whatever's in there is not meant to come back out easily.

THe crate isn't the end of things though, as someone quickly approaches. It's Fayt, flying low to the ground on a pair of blue and green wings, looking more than a bit panicked. "oh please tell me we didn't loose this thing. It'd be a disaster if I don't get hold of it again." He's headed right for where Lunara is, but doesn't seem to have noticed her yet."
Xiaomu Given the thickness of the trees, Xiaomu has elected to stick with navigating the forest on foot. She's looking up frequently to keep track of Fayt's location, particularly since he's the one who knows exactly where the crate is and how best to home in on it; however, she's also parkouring off of tree branches (and occasionally trunks) with some adeptness.

She might well pick up on Lunara's presence faster than Fayt does, but that depends on how much Lunara is hiding from the approaching duo - and while Xiaomu isn't exactly trying to sneak up, she's not making a *lot* of noise, either.
Lunara Lunara isn't trying to hide at all, as at the moment she doesn't really feel there is anything she should be hiding from. Though depending on which direction Fayt and Xiaomu are coming from she may be obscured by the crate itself. Speaking of the crate, she moves closer still and firmly pokes it with the end of her spear, listening for any signs of life inside as her fluttering heart starts to calm after the shock of nearly having a crate from the sky fall on her head begins to pass.
Fayt Ravus     Fayt touches down as soon as he sees the crate, his wings disappearing in a blur of motion as they turn back into a scarf. Carefully he approaches the crate, kneeling down to look at it. "Looks like it's still in one piece, we're in... luck..." Slowly, Fayt realizes there's someone else here, he carefully turns his head to look up at Lunara.

He stares awkwardly for a moment, looking just a tad confused.

Heuddenly the pale little mage nearly jumps. "GAH!-I mean um... hi? Yes? can I help you?... Sorry?"

Apparently Fayt's having one of those days.
Xiaomu Xiaomu lands from her final leap, the rings atop her staff jingling at the sudden transition from 'in movement' to 'stationary,' and looks around briefly before waving to Lunara. "Hi! Hope you didn't have to pry yourself out from under that big heavy box, but you don't look like you got hurt all that badly ... my name's Xiaomu, this is Fayt, we came looking for the crate that fell from a passing sky-ship."

'Sky-ship' presumably being her choice of words for the freighter that the crate fell from. Considering that the sage fox isn't sure whether it was an aircraft or a spacecraft, that seems like the best way to describe it; she's not trying to dumb things down for the ...

Xiaomu pauses, looking Lunara over a bit more closely, then bows - much more formally than her initial greeting. "This is your part of the forest, isn't it? I'm sorry about our poor first impression."
Lunara Lunara gazes back at Fayt with in a somewhat equally awkward manner after their eyes meet, only to be distracted by Xiaomu. She takes a moment to take in the appearance of the pair before speaking. "My part of the forest? No, I'm just visiting. I'm from a world called Azeroth. But as for this... box, I must ask what is going on? This 'sky-ship' of yours soars by making an unholy sound and trailing thick black smoke, and then this huge box falls from the sky. I guess I should be glad for the noise as if I hadn't looked up, I'd be a lot more flat right now..."
Fayt Ravus Fayt takes a moment to catch his breath as he rises back to his feet. "Erm, sorry about that. That ship just escaped a bandit attack, accidentally lost this thing through a hole blown in it's rear." He motions to the crate he was just looking at. "I was called out here to try and retrieve it. My apologies if it almost hit you."

The tiny trader lets out a sigh, "fortunately, I don't think it opened. We might of been in some trouble if it did."
Xiaomu Xiaomu looks mildly relieved, nodding to Lunara. "Still good to meet you," she states to the deer-centaura/dryad/whatever she is. "Yeah, it looks intact to me ... is a specific side of this crate supposed to be up, or can we afford to tip it up onto a different side to check the 'bottom' for damage?" she asks Fayt.

Then she looks around, wondering how to get the crate onto ANOTHER ship ... well, that's technically Fayt's problem rather than Xiaomu's, but still.
Lunara Lunara lowers her spear and sticks it's end into the ground as she decides these two are not hostile. As Fayt's apparent relief at the fact that the box is intact, she wonders. "Is there something dangerous inside?" As she takes a couple steps back, turning from the box toward Fayt and Xiaomu. "My name is Lunara by the way..... and since I'm here, I guess if you need my help in dealing with this thing, I'll do what I can, though I'm not really sure what that would be."
Fayt Ravus     Fayt kneels down next to the crate. "I think it's on it's side actually..." He looks back up at lunara. "seeds for various plants. Harmless on it's own, but not something you want to leave sitting around. Various local laws, problem with upsetting ecosystems... if it's floralmechnical you end up with weird stuff like 'why is the forest glowing?' Basically, I have to secure it so I don't get in trouble if something bad happens down the road."

With that said, Fayt starts to push on the side of the crate, it doesn't move much. "Hmm..."
Xiaomu Xiaomu moves to help Fayt, trying to wedge her staff underneath the crate's edge to help use as a lever ... although given its apparent weight, she backs off quickly. "Hang on, I have an idea here. Let's see if this works ..."

And rather than simply using Suiren as a lever, while she *does* try and poke her staff under the edge of the crate again - using the headpiece instead of the butt, this time - she's not trying to push it as deep ... and is, instead, trying to start generating enough ice to help push the crate up and roll it over.
Lunara Lunara nods, suddenly even more invested in helping after hearing Fayt's description of what is inside the box, not really needing to be told what would likely happen if a bunch of strange seeds were unleashed into an unsuspecting ecosystem. However as soon as she is about to move in to lend a hand and a spear for leverage, Xiaomu proclaims to have an idea and as Lunara watches, she sees it seems to be working. So instead she goes for a different approach, adding some of her own magic and causing some roots to grow under the crate and help push right-side-up.
Fayt Ravus     Fayt yelps, quickly backing away as Lunara and Xiaomu use magic to set the box upright. Carefully he approaches it again. "Well... the top of it's smashed in, might need to get someone to cut it open, though I won't do that until I can get it back to a warehouse. doesn't look like it's had any holes torn in it though..." He nods. "Again, sorry about the scare."
Xiaomu "What was in this one, anyway?" Xiaomu asks, looking at the damage to the crate. She's placed orders through Black Dragon Shipping often enough, and a lot of them are for relatively fragile items ... and falling from a freighter would likely do serious damage to some of those, unless the packaging happened to hold together just right.
Lunara Lunara nods to Fayt. "Well, it certainly did get my heart racing a bit but no permanent harm done. Thank you for your concern though." She then looks between the pair as they discuss the condition of the box and Xiaomu asks what specifically is inside. "So, how exactly are you two planning on getting this thing out of here if we can hardly even make it budge without magic?"
Fayt Ravus     "Like I said, it's full of... seeds..." Fayt suddenly stands up turning to face Xiaomu, his eyes narrow. "Xiaomu... are you here because you we're afraid it was yours?"

Lunara fortunately, snaps him out of it. "Huh? Well since the previous ship was attacked I can't risk calling in another right away. though the ship reported they lost their attacks pretty quickly. I'll probably just radio the Union, ask them to send help."
Xiaomu "The fact that I was wondering if anything of mine was in here has nothing to do with coming to help recover the crate," the sage fox says breezily, as if she didn't notice the way Fayt's eyes narrowed. The fact that she's making sure her conjured ice melts back off (without damaging the greenery) might help to explain her lack of attention to the trader's mood. "Besides, I make your life interesting enough that earning extra favor can't possibly be a bad thing, right?"
Lunara Lunara nods at Fayt again before grinning a bit at the back and forth conversation between the two. "Well, sounds like you both have things well enough in hand then. So unless you want me to stick around for some reason, I guess I'll be on my way." She states as she moves to pull her spear out of the ground.
Fayt Ravus     "I'm not sure I'd call it interesting but ok..." lunara speaking up against snaps him out of it however. "Oh, wait!" He walks over to Lunara, handing over a business card. "I've been to Azaroth a few times. Here, feel free to get in contact with my company if you ever need anything." He frowns a bit. "Erm... After what just happened, offering a good deal is the least I could do."
Xiaomu The crate seems intact other than the damage with Fayt already spotted, so Xiaomu just waits for Fayt to finish talking. "It's good to meet you, Lunara!"
Lunara Lunara takes the card with a smile. "Nice to meet you too." She says before offering a wave. "Maybe we'll meet again soon. Good luck!" She finally comments before bounding away into the forest.
