Inga Freyjasdottir It's a sleepy day in Chicago, at least for Harry and Inga. It's sunny but cool and Easter day. Almost everything is closed, which baffles Inga, who is likely doing a good bit of grumbling about zombie gods and what not. She'd meant to go food shopping today, too! There was nothing much at the appartment.

With a sigh, Inga closes the fridge and the cabinets after searching for something to cook. "Well, do you think Mac's is open at least? I'm starving," she says, turning to Harry.

Inga is dressed for the city, wearing a long grey skirt and a light blue sweater with a v neckline, displaying her hammer pendant against her neck. She's not wearing all her usual talismans. Hopefully they wouldn't be needed!
Harry Dresden     Harry, for his part, is home from his duties of 'go to St. Mary of the Angels to listen to Father Forthill's sermon'. Not the worst one he's ever heard, but the Wizard is likewise feeling a litle over-Godly right now. "Hnnng. Maybe? I hope so at this point."

He's dressed in his 'formal' outfit, including an anctual tie of all things, grey shirt and black pants and a belt even. How fancy. He lifts a hand up from his spot on the couch and makes a little grabby gesture. "How's about a kiss to start and we'll figure it out from there?"
Inga Freyjasdottir "I hope so, because we have very little that is edible here," she replies.

At his grabby gesture, she smiles and moves over, settling down into his lap and wrapping her arms around him. "I think I can do that," she says, leaning in to kiss him.

Inga may not be a fan of Harry going to Church of all places, but she does get to see him all cleaned up nicely, and that's always a little treat. "You've been working hard. I think you deserve a couple of beers. I've been slaving in the garden, so I deserve not to cook," she says with a grin.
Harry Dresden     A snort from Harry as he ooofs. She was a weight on him, but she was his weight. "Well, look. SI7 wanted an outsiders look at a murder and who am I to turn down a trip to Orc and Human lands? I brought you back all that fancy meat and stuff for the cabin at least. But." He grumps and nuzzles at the small of Inga's back, sighing. "Dun wanna head to the Dun today."
Arm wrap around her waist, and the wizard sighs warm breath against her. "Hi." It felt good. So nice to have her. He'd even forgotten long ago the idea that this couldn't last, wouldn't ever last.
Inga Freyjasdottir Inga laughs softly. "I should have gone with you. I haven't done much of note besides dig our garden at the Dun. Well, I investigated a supposedly haunted house at some point with Riva and Psyber. That was noteworthy I suppose. I think we are scheduled to return at some point and investigate further. I thought, perhaps, I might volunteer my services to Psyber's organization as well. Get out more, I hope," she says with a small shrug.

Inga leans back against him. She's not /that/ heavy! Especially compared to mr. giant wizard. "No, I'm in the mood to stay in the city today too I think. We've two homes, have to divide our time," she says with a smile, running her fingers through his hair, ruining a bit of his fanciness. "I can practically hear you thinking. What's going through your mind hmm?" she asks.
Harry Dresden     "Mmmmh, well." A little thoughtful noise. No, don't lie. "The thought that I still don't deserve this." Harry snorts and grips Inga's belly a little more. "And yes yes I am aware that I am a Good Person and I deserve this so..." He shakes his head and kisses her. "Just my mind telling me lies again." A warm breath.

"Just lies and falsehoods. Because you deserve love too and..." He sighs. "Bah. My brain's stupid, is all."
Inga Freyjasdottir Inga rubs his back gently, lays her head against his shoulder. "Deserve? Well, we rarely get what we deserve, for good or ill. But as for what you deserve...heh, I would say you deserve better," she says, returning the kiss.

"I understand though," she replies quietly, nuzzling against his neck, pressing a few small kisses there. "I worry. I try to chase those worries away...but we'll always worry the loss of what we love, won't we?" she asks. He may be a wizard, but he's mortal and she's....not. Those thoughts plague her from time to time.

Inga turns placing her hands to either side of his face, leaning in to press a kiss to his brow. "Stupid? No. Just human," she smiles. "And before you say anything, so am I," she adds, poking him gently in the ribs.
Harry Dresden     The wizard grumbles happily up at Inga at the kissing and the nuzzling and sighs. "Only human. Both of us. Even when we're supposed to be more than that." A little shake of his head, and Harry Dresden... hands get a little grabby possessive around Inga's waist, holding onto her for a moment like she was going to fly away, the poking at the ribs only egging the hold on.
"Hnnn." Words catch in his chest, and he mumurs against her neck. "Love you, Inga Fryersdottir." This time the kiss on her lips is firmer, more insistant. Love you. The emotion rings through him, tingles through his Wyrd, suffuses the room.
Inga Freyjasdottir Inga lets out a small squeak of surprise as she's held tighter, the little gasp melting into a breathy laugh as she tightens her grip on him as well, trying to press every inch of herself against him it seems.

She swallows hard at his words, tears rising to her eyes. She's not sure what brought this on. Even being a Seer, she can't know everything, but there's powerful emotion here, radiating, sinking into the walls, the floor. So that's what the magic of the threshold is all about.

Inga kisses him with a sort of desperation. "I love you too Harry Dresden. I may lose my mind, but I'll never forget you," she breathes.
