Yang Xiao Long     Various channels record a large movement of Grimm on the world of Remnant. Multiversal responders would be directed to the woodland area known as Forever Fall.

As its name suggests, the entire area looks like it's the middle of autumn, golden, red and brown leaves wafting through the area, the trees though, seem to regrow their leaves quickly, as there's a cover on the ground, but the trees aren't bare.

The ground is shaking under the footfalls of dozens, maybe even over a hundred sets of feet and hooves running. Black shapes darting between the trees... chasing a blonde woman in a light-weight outfit and sporting a pair of gold and brown gauntlets, turning and firing explosive bolts when the opportunity presents itself.

"Beacon? It's Yang, I'm right in the middle of that Run, they just hit Forever Fall and are headed right for Vale! Get ready!"
Karian Icefang     Karian overheard something about monsters popping up and the fact they seemed like something out of the warp inspired the Space Wolf to go and have a look. He didn't know what they were, or what they could do, but evil must be destroyed. Of course, landing near a settlement clued the space wolves in on what they were dealing with too. Following the sound of footfalls, and any tracks left, the marines gave chase.
Yari Takane Yari had simply meant to do some scouting with local villages, maybe pick up a few contacts that could possibly make the beginnings of a Fed presence on the world. Instead, the ninja has gotten reports of monsters attacking an area. Hard to build relationships when your potential targets are dead.

Thus it's to the forest Yari's gone, leaping from tree to tree in traditional ninja style. As she arrives on the scene, first noting the black shapes, and then a rather familiar figure of Yang, she simply flicks a good dozen kunai at the creatures that dart in and out. Poisoned, of course, but who knows if the venom will actually /work/ on these things! Otherwise, she tries to get an eye on some of them to see what she's working against.
Yukihana Masamune     Being a spacefaring vessel, the One-Eyed Jack has no issue travelling from world to world, seeing new sights, and performing general acts of piracy towards them. As it so happens, one of the crew is on Remnant as a result. Though there is no piracy occurring here. Today.
Yukihana Masamune is simply not the type to indulge in that sort of buccaneering chicanery, though she can understand the allure that the rest of the crew feel towards honorable pillaging, and being hearty and drinking grog and the like. But no, she's here on other matters.
Every new world simply means one thing to the smith: potential new materials to work with. And after wandering a few towns, finding her way somehow out further into wandering between varied nomadic settlements, she had managed to get her hands on some nice quality but rather mundane metals to work with and bring back with her.
When one of the nomad groups she's trying to trade with up and packs bags and bails however, something is... Very off.
The fact of the matter is, there is now a silver-haired fox-girl, confused, lost, and alone in Forever Fall. This doesn't bother her too much as she tugs the elegant and ornate silks of her kimono a little tighter, resting a hand on the tsuka of her equally ornate katana and simply gets back on her way.
... Until the ground shakes. Until her ears perk; and she realizes: Something is coming. Maybe there's a reason she got ditched.
Tomoe Tomoe picked up the call about Grmm, and Eisen s she's goes by in this form has been very stubborn about sticking to the same avatar of the read headed gunner lady. She seems to be in rapuidly responding to the attack clad in the strange body fitting stealth armor and already she's got a spaz 12 out seemingly reayd for more trouble she seems on edge as she checks about her, how many of them are there out there?
X X has NO idea what Grimm are. But the radio announcement made it pretty clear that, WHATEVER they are... they're not good. And as he was just a few warp gates away, he decided to high-tail.

Now, if only the Teleport Grid reached this far, he could respond almost IMMEDIATELY.

    Instead...

The nearest warpgate flares to life moments before it spews forth a blue-armored robot riding a WACKY-looking hovercycle - the latter, done up in wildly garish primary colors. Though shaped generally like a motorcycle, the 'front wheel' is a flat pad and the REAR wheel... some kind of rockets. Plasma rocket thrusters, perhaps. Whatever the case the vehicle makes an AWFUL noise, a hissy-whine as it WHOOSHES along the ground fast enouggh to kick up a mighty wind in its wake!

X clutches the handlebars, carefully navigating his way through the forest at breakneck speeds! There's a few close calls with larger branches and badly-placed stumps.

It's the GUNFIRE that draws his attention, along with the nearby radio-burst! Pretty soon he swoops around and pulls up alongside Yang, throttling down to match speeds!

Thankfully, the thing's way less noisy when it's going slower...

"So these are Grimm? They DON'T look friendly!"
Kushiko --Sometime prior..

<"Tenno, there is a notice of combat activity originating in the Multiverse. I have uploaded the relevant data.">

At that point, the Tenno had been reviewing weaponry, and given the data listed with regards to the alert, these 'Grimm' were something she had very basic data on. And given the terrain.. fire had come to mind, but maybe not /too much/ fire.

Closing her eyes, her consciousness shifted and resurged in another shell, another Warframe before the Liset would disembark from the Orbiter and cut a path through the stars to the world of Remnant.

--Shortly after...

A spade-shape was the most notable element of the ship that decloaked far above the forests of Forever Fall. No point in risking bringing the vessel in too close, Ordis had decided. From the underbelly of the ship, a cylinder rotated once, revealing the hanging shape of a humanoid figure--some sort of rifle in one hand, gun attached at the hip and a long blade at one side. And then? .. then she dropped.

From quite some height, if one was to have the chance to glance upwards. And she fell, arms at either side as though to accelerate and control her descent rather rapidly even as the Liset's engines pulsed and took the ship away from the dropzone. The faint signs and sounds of firepower--familiar kinds--caused her to adjust her body's weight, funneling void energy to focus and glide.

But once she had reoriented towards where the pack of these Grimm were, she gestred with a hand. A pink-purple doorway opened, and as she glided, she fell through it, bringing her all the more closer towards the pack--and more importantly, towards it's head.

And emerging from the other end of the Wormhole just above the trees, she dropped down to one of them, but didn't stop moving. Sometimes just bounding off one with scarcely any sound, her intent was plain expediency as she sought a better position to perform a particular delaying action. Yari might catch sight if briefly of the black-suited figure, hints of dark blue purple and silver upon the combat frame of Nova Prime.
Yang Xiao Long     BLAM, BLAM.

Yang ducks under a Beowolf as it leaps at her, uppercutting it with an explosive punch, sending it skywards with a sickening crunch.

Yari's Kunai find their marks, and angry snarls come as the Grimm as they turn on where the thrown knives came from. They seem to be slower though, perhaps the poison, while not lethal, is having some effect after all.

Karian's pursuit would show there's dozens of tracks, all different types and sizes, from large paws to small trotter-hooves, and the spear-like tips of some huge insect... it's a massive group.

Yukihana wouldn't be left too long to wonder what was going on, as an outlier pack of Beowolves, large wolf monsters with white bone masks, come bounding out of the forest, snarling and gnashing teeth at the kitsune.

Eisen's approach gives her a few minutes to assess the situation. There's Beowolves, Ursa Majors and Boarbatusks... but there's something HUGE following them. Insectile with a thick carapace and a curved tail with a wicked stinger on the tip.

X's approach is a noisy affair, but he's moving so fast that the Grimm can't get a bead, until he slows down to fall in beside Yang. "They're not! Be careful, you might be an Android, but these things can tear straight through hardened steel like it was wet tissue paper!" warns Yang, as she turns again and roars a challenge at an Ursa that lumbers out of the forest.

Finally, Nova appraoches, teleporting into the fray and finding out what the info meant by 'highly aggressive'. A Boarbatusk comes to a stop as Beowolves and Ursai lumber past, turning to the Warframe and stamping the ground, readying to charge. It doesn't run, though. Instead it starts to rapidly spin end over end like some demented catherine-wheel, before it surges straight at the 'frame with impressive speed.
Yari Takane A very /not/ Kagenashi-flavored fox girl, a gun toting soldier, a motorcycle-riding crazy armored man, and as she looks ascance, some oddly armored figure moving silently. All Yari can assume is that there's a group of Elites that met the same call as her, as they certainly don't look local.

After a moment, the ninja decides to shadow Kushiko from the trees. She'll send a discreet burst of radio over to the figure, hoping she can catch it.

"I'm not sure who you are, but I'll assist if you're here to do something about these creatures." offers the ninja, Just before chucking another kunai at a Grim shadow that she views as too close to herself and her stealthy 'partner'.

Ninjas unite.

Best to show she means it. As that massive boar-creature starts ready to spin-charge, the ninja tosses three spherical objects at the creature. They explode, blanketing the creature in a mixture of flesh-devouring acids and vinegar. Yari was feeling mean when making that particular bomb.
Kushiko Highly aggressive things is something Nova and to a greater extent, the Tenno are very, very familiar with. Though these are somewhat different from the Infested, certain concepts seem to draw an instinctual memory for the Tenno operating the 'frame. As to Yari's offering, she simply nods once--her assistence will alleviate how quickly she needs to move.

Regardless, she doesn't dawdle very long where she's at. She gathers a surge of energy first and foremost, lifting her hand up as antimatter energy coalesces into the palm of her hand and then a tightened *BLMF* a noise might be heard by Yari, Yang, X, and anyone near that group. Such a motion precedes her unleashing an expanding wave of force, seeking to bathe the immediate area and beyond in antimatter energy; pink-purple and lines of light crisscrossing one another with a very visible band at it's equator, the sphere of Molecular Prime unleashed.

Even if it takes just a hint of time, she's going to start moving, the casings surrounding the points behind her head and on her back expanding, the twin sets of energy coils glowing all the more brightly from the release of molecular prime--intent as she is to quickly /leave/ the tree to somersault out of the way, her body twisting with a burst of void-infused speed.

If all goes well, the wave of energy as it radiates outward, once it comes into contact with it, should slow not only the boar down, but any other Grimm in a 25-meter diameter of a bubble. The Warframe seems to have impressive control over that power: Yari would certainly see it, as would others, but the energy wave passes over harmlessly, as would the explosions that would come should Yari's attack manage to strike while the boar Grimm has been primed.
Tomoe Tomoe has no idea about the tenno that had just dropped in but she would appear strange to whatever senses the Tenno had. She was a projection of some sort for lack of a better term. Still she seem to be able to interact with the world and she now jumps into the fight opening up on the Grim as she. Sees the various girm but it seems there's something even bigger. She changes the ammo in her shotgun to a type of mini grenade and then moves in to star blowing into the lesser GRIM.

<<HEy if anyone is listening this is Eisen! We got a prob lem there's a giant Grimm I never /seen;/ before ad it's bug like with a nasty looken tail.>>
Yukihana Masamune     The rumbling ground was sign enough that something was wrong. But when massive beasts erupt from the treeline and come right at her, that is definitely... A thing.
Scarlet eyes blink. For just a beat or so, Yukihana is left staring like a deer caught in the headlights of a truck, before her reflexes kick in, in a bit more of an instinctual manner.
The elegantly dressed kitsune is... Suddenly up a tree. It's a very inelegant response to an inelegantly horrifying situation as Yukihana scampers up the nearest trunk, gekkering wildly, before she stops at a higher branch. There's just a breath to regain her composure... And then she is a mask of serenity once again, as though that completely embarrassing fit had never caught her in the least, even though she is effectively stuck up a tree. She draws a deep breath.
"How uncivilised." Huffed to herself. Before she expels the breath in a chill-hot plume of snow-colored foxfire at the Beowolves down below.
Karian Icefang     Karian notes the size and variety of the tracks. He gives chase on them, mounting onto his massive wolf. As he draws near, the Grimms may hear the howl of at least a dozen wolves. Of course afterwards come the roar of bolters, the rev of chainswords, and the sight of massive armored warriors.
X "Noted!" X exclaims a moment later. His response to so many Beowulves getting rowdy is to aim his right hand back behind him while continuing to steer with his left. MOOOORE or less straight. he has a close shave with a tree, but...

Well. Yelling angrily, he unleashes a stream of shots from the X-Buster at all the nearest Grimm. Nothing concentrated enough to kill any, most likely - not that he's of any mind to spare mindless creatures...

There's just so damn many and he needs to beat them back for BREATHING room first. At least... the nearest ones.

X ends up revving up the Cheval just a bit... but only to plow it into a giant pile of leaves after putting on the engine. It WHUNKS into a tree... but thankfully doesn't explode or anything. Not at these speeds.

X doesn't ride it into that halt though. Instead he vaults up and off of it, slamming against a tree trunk at a weird angle that leaves him SLIDING DOWN it...

And with beasts chasing him in a mad, snarling bunch... that gives him an opportunity! "Got you!!"

Gathering most of his robotic strength, X springs downwards at a leaping Beowulf, his whole body flashing into shades of yellow.

The X-Buster reconfigures, reshaping itself into something more like a gauntlet around X's fist.

And he drives that fist straight down into the Beowulf's noggin'. KER-BLAM!

The beast might be simply blown to pieces just like that. The two others that leapt along with it from the sides though... X twists around in midair to evade one, but the other catches him along the side with outstretched claws. Titanium-X skin tears and ruptures, leaving a gash that sparks and leaks bits of fluid. But X barely notices this upon landing apart from putting a hand over it.

"Pretty weak individually, but there's a LOT of them!"

The two move to flank him, but he's having none of that. The gauntlet reconfigures into the X-Buster and builds up a charge with the few seconds he has. X DUCKS under one's leap, only to rise and plant his opposite fist into its belly. In almost the same instant he springs up and around, plants a foot in its gut and PLOWS the beast into its fellow, then BOTH into a tree. For good measure he then levels the X-Buster at the creature's heads and unloads a massive ball of plasma at nearly point blank!

Yeah, not gonna be much left of those two.

    The only trouble is...

There's a lot more out there where those came from.

    "Any ideas?!"
Yang Xiao Long     Nova's Priming of the Grimm make the monsters recoil... they know /something/ happened, but they aren't sure what... the creatures are accutely aware of their own forms, so the change is instantly detected, but the nature isn't.

Yang remembers that pink-purple energy from the Grineer ship, and she calls out over local radio. "Hit the glowing ones! They'll explode and maybe chain react!" She fires her gauntlets at the Ursa bearing down on her, peppering it with red explosive bolts, which stagger it and earn an angry roar.

Yukihana's foxfire burns the Beowolves as they claw at the tree, snarling up at the Kitsune, before they're consumed in the magical flames, bodies dissolving in an acrid, short-lived black smoke.

Yari's bomb catches the Boarbatusk as it rolls, it starts to melt and squeals in agony as the acid eats into it, and the vinegar stings the wounds... it loses control, and as the antimatter suffuses it, slams into a tree, and subsequently explodes.

Eisen's mini-grenades thud and explode amongst the Grimm as they charge. Direct hits blowing the Beowolves to pieces, but making the larger, tougher Ursai growl angrily and charge the shotgunner.

Karian's charge of Battle Brothers diverts some of the Grimm away from the main run, Beowolves felled with bolters, while Ursai grapple with Thunderwolves, being torn up by chainswords, and snarling into the helmets of the Space Wolves atop their mounts.

X gets his close combat on, after firing snapshots back at the advance. Those shots, while weak, do punch holes in Beowolves. They're juveniles after all, weak, but numerous. Some fall right there, while the ones that leap fare a little better, they're no match for the Blue Bomber.

Yang, meanwhile, calls back over to X. "Focus on the larger ones! The Alphas are driving the group, take them out and the smaller ones will lose focus and scatter!" she then calls back to Eisen. "Big bug? Sounds like a Death Stalker! You fought one in the Initiation, remember? Be careful, it's like a living tank!"
Kushiko It was somewhat pleasing, Kushiko thought. That it staggered and made them reconsider, but on the other hand they sensed more was going on. They were intelligent, in their own way even as the Helios Sentinel flew about; scanning and adding the varying forms of Grimm to her Codex for later.

Nova Prime on the other hand, at the Tenno's direction thrust her hand outwards--antimatter once against coalesced into a hard energy shell of golden energy. An orb, no bigger than a basketball, as she then twisted her body slightly: this time, 7 smaller balls of energy orbiting her body. Not yet known, but a volatile orb of antimatter, energy wavering around it in bands. There would be shots that some might miss, and while she hadn't seen anything with ranged from the current Grimm, it doesn't mean it's an impossibility.

So that orb flew away from her, traveling over and across the heads of some of the Grimm, further down and acting as a sponge for the shots of Karian's battle brothers, or even the explosions.

Yet now, something more.. direct was necessary as she gave Yari a brief look--granted, it was more of a canting of her head, control surfaces flared and the orbit of tiny balls of antimatter swirling her--Null Star--before she descended from the trees. She targeted the closest groups first: the Boltor Prime she wielded slung not bullets, but 4 inch long bolts that screamed through the air in order to set off those explosions she so richly enjoyed personally.

For those that had a chance of drawing too close, the long blade at her hip remained sheathed as she leapt. The explosions themselves that she DOES cause.. and well, anyone else would feel something odd, if they had any sense of it: the explosions /should/ tear more terrain around them apart, but it's anything but. The void energy that fuels her antimatter generation makes the explosions not unlike a misting amidst the release of concussive force that would certainly be jarring, but surprisingly bereft of causing the amount of collateral damage one would assume capable.

Alarming precision with the release of her Molecular Prime besides, those that perish by the Molecular Prime's explosion have a very strong chance of dissolving with energy, clouds of energy erupting from their bodies as they melt away.
Yari Takane Yari makes a mental note to have a chat later with the oddly armored woman. She at first assumes it to be some sort of magic, but can't quite get any readings on it. Technology perhaps? Definitely worth some digging, in how it slows down those caught within and yet doesn't stop Yari herself.

The ninja also takes out her umbrella, holding it up to keep herself from being covered in bits of Grim. This kimono of hers is /nice/, darnit.

Taciturn hardly bothers Yari, and so she continues her strategy: staying up high, and supporting the warframe. As the woman seems to speed up, the ninja makes a few handseals, glowing briefly as magic infuses her legs. She moves more deftly, managing to keep up. Offending Grim are soon being met with a mixture of explosive kunai, and a growing miasma of poison that she's tossing around while making sure she doesn't coat the others!

Even Yang isn't getting a dose today.

But as Kushiko cants her head, leaps down to the ground, and the ninja follows suit. She doesn't have the defensive capabilities, and thus, does the smart thing: she uses Kushiko as a living shield. She stays behind the woman for the most part as she lays in with her slugthrower, adding the occasional poison bomb or kunai. A few grim that get too close? her hand flashes to her umbrella, and draws to swipe with the hidden blade at anything that gets too close. Ker-chck. Right back into the hilt. Soon enough, her tail is lashing out at any offending Grim with a kunai as well, the ninja making a deadly dance to go along with Kushiko's use of force, bullets, and antimatter.
X X hardly has time to spare a glance or two, but he knows a Warframe by now when he sees one! And he's all but forced to wince a little in sympathy. The Grimm have definitely run into a force to be reckoned with.

Not that the others are any less impressive. If only hae had time to more than glance about at some of the strange things on display!

"Does this happen often around here?!" Shouts the android, almost dreading the response. he's got a bad feeling it'll be 'yes.'

The blue robot takes a flying leap backwards whilst opening fire again with the X-Buster, peppering the enemy lines with shots in order to flush out his true targets!

The tallest of the bunch. Be they Beowulf or other, X takes aim swiftly... and charges. Brilliant light shines from the X-buster, radiating forth with enough intensity to make his Titanium-X skin seem to glow from within all across his body. The moment he's got a proper targeting solution locked on...

    "HOOOAH!!" FWOOOOOSH!

A roiling plasma bolt the size of his own body blossoms forth and races through the distance.

He repeats this tactic over and over, leaping back, beating back advancing waves with sprays of weak shots... then firing charged ones at leaders.
Karian Icefang     Grimm meet the determined force of the space marines. They tear into the grimm,s their blades singing true. "Die, deamons!" Howl's Karian, as his wolf bites and rends.
Tomoe Tomoe is letting them rip and bounces about, she sees the larger GRIM has it's attenion focused on her great, but she hears the call about the larger ones, and gets it. She'll turn her attention to the big one and that thing would find she's not shooting anymore, nope, she's bouncing about off the terrain in ways that Ksukiko might just approve of. At the apex of one of her leaps she was able to drop several grenade rapidly and wait did one have a smile face on it? Yes, yes it did.
Yang Xiao Long     The Grimm fall by the numbers. Elites are much akin to Huntsmen, in that their attacks are effective against the Grimm, and they are resilliant against return strikes. The Run is reduced to a few dozen in short enough order that the defenders aren't overrun. The Alphas gnash their teeth as their minions fall.

X's Charged Buster shots vaporize some of the Alpha Beowolves, but even they can't fully kill a Greater Ursa Major in one hit, though they are severely weakened.

Yari's bombs help slow the enemy further, finishing off weakened Grimm, especially ones that weren't fully finished by Nova's Boltor.

Karian's holding action in the rearguard slowly turns into a rout as the Grimm fall, smoking corpses evaporating under the concentrated fire of the Finest of the Imperium.

Yang, for her part, finishes off the Ursa she was fighting, blasting it through a tree with an explosive punch. She responds to X. "Not exactly common, but more common than we'd really like!" She then grits her teeth, as the large, living tank of a Death Stalker, literally a building-sized Scorpion with a glowing golden stinger, comes charging out into the clearing made by the recent combat. It chitters, rearing up its large pincers, before lashing out at Nova with one, and X with the other. It's stinger aimed at Yang with a lightning fast stab!

The Blonde snarls, and grabs the tail after jinking to the side, digging her feet in as Eisen's grenades shower the monster with explosions. "Everyone focus fire on this thing! It's armour is thick, so try going for the softer sides and underbelly! I'll keep it pinned as long as I can!" The local's eyes are burning red coals, and her hair a conflagration fo golden flame as she holds that tail, she's literally a burning effegy of a woman's form, glaring into the glowing red eyes of the monster she's got by the tail.
Kushiko Well. That.. that's a big one. That's a /very/ big one. Nova had not so much stopped to reload as she reloaded on the run--pulling back a levered point on the stock of the rifle, causing a ripple of movement up and down the rifle as she switched out for a new stock of bolts to the weapon itself, chambering it afterwards.

Much of the other Grimm had either been outright exploded or otherwise ruined in one way or another (one such Grimm's body was pinned to a tree) and she was progressing through with Yari fielding support fire as she could. Not that Nova Prime was a tanky frame. No, it was a damaging frame. And the full apex of that damage was due to be made known.

A nearby Beowulf attempting to waylay her was bisected down the middle by the flash of her Dragon Nikana before she sprinted, the control surfaces on the back of her frame expanding as she launched herself through a recently created Wormhole--it brought her quickly to the Deathstalker. But even as she came through the portal itself, she was already raising her arm up, nascent pink-purple mist and energy gathering from every little lit up point on her body. Another *BLMFHN!* kind of noise as the radial wave of energy blossoms from her, seeking to bathe the Deathstalker once more in that firepower--to bathe it as quickly as she could for everyone to channel their firepower through.

The antimatter orbs of the Nullstar orbiting her flung themselves like a halo of energy, light trailing behind in order to meet the steadily approaching antimatter orb.

Excess energy; energy from X's charged buster shots, the kinetic impacts of energy that resulted from Karian's battle brothers tearing through Grimm like nothing else, even the concussive force of Eisen's grenade launcher. All this and more culminated in the sphere suddenly turning /black/-purple. A veritable event horizon of energy seemed to indicate it had reached it's climax.

The Nova itself, while not necessarily showing anything like emotion and the like, might be concerned about Yang's position on the the Deathstalker. Especially with what she's seen before, the Tenno was preparing to use another Wormhole and a well-placed leap to go after her if needbe, next to Tomoe, who seemed to be handling themselves well with that terrain managing and transversal.
Tomoe Eisen is still bouncing about, and doesn't seem to be intending to stop, sure she's a bit suideal with things but that's when she's going to get in close on it, why? the thing's got a mouth right? Or the belly could work too, she smirks.

"All right critter you want some of this lets go."

She breaks into a run bouncing anf leaping as she goes to make herself a harder target she takes note of the Nova whose support has made things quite more interesting, she'll fire a few shotgun blasts at the incoming beowulves but she doesn't stop as she makes for her target.

She'll move to slide under the beast and she pops an item from her inventroy and it's a demo charge it latches on hopefully to the thing's belly and starts to tick down.

"Your time's over thing, back to the Abyss that spawned you."

she flips away, pulling her weapon again and keeps raining shots down as the timer on the charge ticks down to detonation. When it goes it will go off with enough force to breach the armor on a main battle tank.
X At least the Grimm are going down... and nobody's going to miss these monsters! But X is forced to just gape when he goes to regroup with the others and finds... ANYTHING that big.

"How.... does something that big even ..." Yeup. he's just STUPEFIED atht something this threatening even EXISTS out here and could come out of NOWHERE.

But that moment of hesitation costs him. The pincers carve into his innards even as X backpedals, barely avoiding getting himself cut in half.

And of course, YANG has to go and do something utterly INSANE!

"You can't hold that--" But... she does.

Well. That's another one to write home about. Are humans supposed to glow? He's pretty sure glowing is not healthy for humans. Far from it, really.

But speaking of glowing... it's not as thouggh he was idle that whole time. his own body burns brightly with gathering energy, until it's shining like a newborn star! Well... not THAT bright, but pretty impressively.

X clenches his teeth. "What a time to be outdated... rrrraaaghh!!"

X levels his buster, making miniscule adjustments as targeting reticules in his vision home in on a firing solution against a chunk in that thing's exoskeleton... and once he realizes how that will work out, he changes course.

With a fierce yell, X goes into a headlong plunge to slam his X-Buster's barrel up against that chink, hoping to PRY an opening... and then unload everything he possibly can at POINT BLANK into its softer innards!
Yari Takane With the call for focus fire out, Yari lets Kushiko pour on the firepower first. Several handseals later, and she draws her blade once more, now crackling with vicious lightning! With the giant scorpion flipped, she does the sensible thing:

Attack the underbelly. The blurr of a ninja leaps after the downed scorpion creature, bouncing along it's frame, slashing and stabbing with her poison-coated blade as if she were a butcher trying to make scorpion fillet!

She even slices through that orb as she leaps off of the Gri for the final time, sheathing her blade.

And then proceeds to spit a giant fireball to try to cook the thing alive!
Karian Icefang     The finest hold the line, and push forward. Their fury knows no limits, and they aim to cut through. Karian looks over as he hears his allies fighting as well. "Push through them! They will not keep us back, nor will they win!" He roars. His power sword swings at the nearest Grimm, as he bellows out a challenge. "Can none of you stand against me?!"
Yang Xiao Long     Well, the DeathStalker got more than it bargained for when it roused this Run! The thing struggles in Yang's armlock, pulling and chittering angrily as the blonde brawler uses every last ounce of her strength and Semblance-boosted power to keep it from escaping. "Not today bucky boy. You're goin' down!" she snarls at it, grinning ferally.

Eisen's underbelly assault makes the thing buck and squeal in agony, the softer underside showing bright red patches where the 'flesh' has been blown apart.

X's buster shot slams into the thick carapace. Even with all that power, it doesn't manage to break through, but it /does/ leave a spiderweb of cracks and a large crater in that armour, enough that Nova's next attack punches straight through into the flesh beneath, suffusing the beast with that pink-purple energy.

Yari's attack run adds more cuts and cracks in the things armour, the poison seeping beneath the protective bone plates and making the thing shudder. The fireball engulfs the beast, drawing another squeal of agony as it skitters from side to side, desperately trying to escape... it shows that these monsters aren't just mindless beasts. They have a dark intellect and a drive to survive, which only grows as they get older.

Karian's holding action finally whittles the Grimm down, to the point that the surviving Alphas and Greater Ursai are turning and fleeing, scattering into the forest to disappear, until another force rouses them.

Yang, for her part, finally shifts her stance, and with a loud kiai shout, hauls the Death Stalker up, and starts to swing it around by the tail, wheeling like a Hammer-throw contenstant, before aiming to throw the beast into Nova's glowing death orb. "Time to say goodnight!" she snarls... before staggering and falling to her knees, her Semblance fizzling out, hair turning back to normal, and her eyes losing their glow, returning to that soft lilac.
Karian Icefang     Karian looks over and see's Yang stagger and fall. He gives an order and bursts through the Grimm hordes, bolter and blade flying in rage. He makes his way for Yang, and offers a hand. "Looks like you could use a hand." He says, firing in support for the other elites.
Kushiko There exists just a moment where the DeathStalker comes into contact with that Antimatter Drop, that contained orb of delicious, wonderful death as it is, fully charged and primed. It very well seems to almost nestle against it for a split second in the air. Like the calm before the storm.

And then concussive release of energy is /staggering/. It's the kind of thing that could be felt in every direction even if one has no sense of it. All that force of the fight encapsulated and redirected results in a particular brand of explosion that causes a shockwave, a momentary buffeting of air pressure before the Deathstalker is practically /ERASED/ from existence, imploding inward before it's sihoulette becomes a hazy mist that, somehow the shadow of it's limbs from Yang's throw manage to flail slowly into nothingness.

And yet, just as quickly as the Antimatter Drop exploded with it's terrible force, the light show fades just as quickly--the contact with the orb ensuring that the chain reaction would bring ruin to any remaining Grimm unfortunate enough to still be breathing.

The Warframe, on the other hand, however, sprints her way over--double-jumping into a somersault as she uses the momentum from that jump to close the distance and partially glide to a sliding stop by her. Karian is given a momentary cant of her head, before she manifests a golden-edged disc which begins to pulsate with rejuvenating energy--it's not quite full on healing, but it should make things a little better for her until proper medical attention is had.
Yari Takane Yari, after her leap and stabs, turns to watch Kushiko. And more importantly, to watch a gigantic scorpion be imploded into non-existance, so much so that she gets to see anti-matter devour even the shadow of the thing.

She does this from very, very high up in a tree, because she wants absolutely nothing to do with that implosion. Sure, she believes that Kushiko isn't about to intentionally implode them all with space-magic-tech. But one can't be too careful. She /does/ try to use her magitek gauntlet to take readings as she can, however.
Tomoe Tomoe has blown things wide up for other follow up attacks, the red headed woman skids to a halt now as the Grim seem to be just about finished she looks about for a moment and shakes her hea da bit before her weapon vanishes in a burst of light.

"Grim's always the same, they go, hunt, feed on people. Man that's all they ever do isn't it?"

She aks also the Tennos anti matter antics has got Eisen's attention s she just kinds stares for a moiment longer at the Tenno.

"That ... was something."
Kushiko Nova Prime, in one way, seems to not.. well. Share much in terms of facial features and the like. The smooth curve of the helmeted, near featureless visage. Hell, closer inspection belies an oddly.. well. Potentially 'cute' look, given the heels on that armor and the lower legs themselves.

It's an odd thing, the way the armor is shaped and the various details on her. Now, as readings go, it's a curious thing; there is certainly antimatter energy but at the same time it's.. controlled, as if something was reaching through it and wearing it like a glove. How that might actually look on the gauntlet's readings is anyone's guess, and may take proper analysis.

Supernatural power is about the size of it when it comes to the Warframe being utilized by the Tenno, present name unknown--nor does the figure seem willing to volunteer it. The energy being used to control such antimatter is not something that seems willing to demonstrate itself as one 'type'.

It bears qualities of magic as much as it might be technologically formed and yet still some measure of spirit. Sometimes all at once. Sometimes one or the other. Not something one is going to get a complete picture of with only brief scanning. Speaking of scanning, a drone--a U-shaped construct with an oscillating central aspect hovers nearby, taking it's own scans. Yari would probably feel that she's being watched.

Not a single word. Barely a glance of the technosuited individual down there. But there is a subtle presence of the Tenno as she sets her Boltor Prime back on her shoulder once she's finished tending to Yang as much as she can. Her hand rests on the handle of the Dragon Nikana's scabbard almost.. contemplative? Hard to say for sure.
Yang Xiao Long     Yang looks up at the Wolf Lord, chuckling softly as she takes that big armoured hand, and stands up once more. "Heh, thanks big guy... nice hustle out there too, haven't seen coordination like that since well, since the last time the Academy sent a bunch of us here." she offers, then punches the Space Wolf in the shoulder playfully... well, it's playful to her, but results in a resonant CLANG of her gauntlet striking ceremite plating.

The blonde brawler then turns to look at Nova, and grins a bit more. "Hey again... thanks for the save on that ship the other day." she offers, holding out a hand, as her gauntlets retract to their inactive bracelet form. "Didn't introduce myself, name's Yang, nice to meet ya!"
Yari Takane To say Yari has suddenly become immensely interested is an understatement. She records everything that she can, nearly running out of storage on her armlet thanks to so much data! Magic, and flesh, and technology all in one. She openly stares in amazement.

Some Fed scientists would /love/ to tear into the Warframe. Nevermind her homeland!

Yari is slightly easier to figure out: the one-armed ninja has the spark of magic, though no where near the most prolific magic users of her world. She has the bearing of a soldier and an operative underneath that silken kimono, aside from the tail and scales running down her body. Unremarkable, perhaps, except in skill and loyalty. She offers the Warframe a bow, before she's off.

She'll have to look the odd being up some time.
Kushiko No doubt there's a list of those who would love to figure out how Warframe technology really works. After all, a certain scientist knows a good deal, but actually getting them to run properly other than merely being a puppet.. well. That's a special thing for another time.

Still, as it comes to Yang, Nova Prime extends her own hand. There's a kind of unspoken understanding there, strangely unvoiced as it were. There's more to it than she's letting on. The Helios Sentinel returns; it seemed to have catalogued all the data available; the Grimm, from the lowly Beowulves to the Deathstalker as it cants it's head around a little bit. The active control surfaces retract, folding back into their normal form.

Not long after offering that handshake, she takes a step back, offering a solemn, respectful bow, as the Liset craft decloaks not /too/ far away from them. Over the local comms, the simple question is asked, <"Everyone else okay? I'm not detecting any other hostiles.">
Yang Xiao Long     "We're clear." replies Yang, giving a salute. "The Deathstalker was holding the gang together, now it's dead, anything left alive will flee into the wilds until another big thing comes along to rouse 'em up again."
Kushiko A slight inclination of her head; with that established, the Warframe turns, casting open another Wormhole, disappearing into it to reappear elsewhere--mainly to get aboard her Liset once more, which had come down to a hovering point where she could pull herself into that humanoid-shaped recess. Locked in once more, the vessel banked, disappearing into the sky.

Well, there's that then.
