Blurr Cybertron. A rusted husk of what it once was. Cities lie in ruins, and the surface is rugged with broken terrain. What's more, the savage Insecticon swarm roams the surface--cast out, starved, desperate--eager to devour anything that moves. It's like the last place in the galaxy anyone would want to be, so there has to be a reason Blurr is there, sifting through the piles of rubble in the tattered remains of what was once Iacon. An important one, too. Perhaps he's looking for something...
Alden Someone should give Alden a panphlet about 'areas to avoid unless you are crazy' or something!. He is still trying to learn more about the multiverse, and take his mind out of... things, so he stumbles out into the apparently dead planet!. He wanders away from the gate for a bit, before he realizes there are flocks/swarms of... something roaming nearby!. The small digimon quickly running away from them, and apparently, in the direction of Blurr.
Blurr Broken pieces of metal and other rubble clatter at Alden's feet, and Blurr turns in the direction of the noise abruptely, raises his weapons immediately for fear the Swarm has found hima again. But once he sees who it is, he lowers them again.

That little guy looks familiar, but he can't quite remember where he saw him before or what his name was. Well at any rate he has no idea why the guy is here. "The smelt?! What are -you- doing here?" he exclaims, surprised.
Alden Alden stops as he sees the gigantic metal humanoid machine, panting a bit and not even bothering on considering how odd or not the transformer is, then again, digimon! they are a bizarre bunch!. He tries to catch his breath, "I wasjust exploring... came out of the portal... then a huge bunch of... things were scavenging around and I got scared...."
Blurr "Those 'things' would be the Swarm, and you're right to be scared of them because they are a nasty bunch." Blurr replies, crouching down as far as he comfortably can to get a better look at Alden. "You look familiar. So wait you were 'exploring'? This isn't exactly the best place to go 'exploring', if you haven't figured that out already."
Alden Alden grumbles a bit, "I noticed when I saw those things... but I am new here, I still don't know anything about the portals or where they lead." he says quietly, rubbign teh back of his head. He smiles somewhat after a moment, "I guess that was careless of me tho." he says softly. "I'm Alden."
Blurr "Alden!" Blurr exclaims. "Right, oh yeah I did meet you once, I think. You're one of those 'digimon' things, right? I told you about how I met one of you before, though he was annoying." he frowns a little bit. "Anyway, this place isn't safe for you."
Alden Alden smiles, "the one that ate a lot of food?" he asks, thinking back to the conversation, before noticing the frown, "Please don't worry, I am far from helpless, even if I don't look like much." he says softly, trying to reassure Blurr.
Blurr "Oh I didn't say 'helpless', I just said it wasn't safe." Blurr corrects. "And yeah, the one that ate a lot of food and almost got himself killed by stowing away on my ship." He shakes his head at the memory. "He was kind of a nuisance. Can't remember what his name was though." He waves a dismissive hand. "Pff, not that I care anyway."
Alden Alden nods again adn flicks his tail, moving until he is next to the machine, "Fair point, I agree." he says softly, "So you come from this place?" he asks curiously, looking around again.
Blurr "Yeah," Blurr confirms, bending over to start rifling through the rubble again. He pulls out a scanner and runs some sweeps as well. "Unfortunately." he adds in a low tone.
Alden Alden nods and looks a the scanner curiously, "Oh..." he says softly, looking away for a moment, "So... all your planet is like this now then?" he asks, "
Blurr "Sure is." Blurr once again replies with a nod. He reads the results on the scanning device, then sighs, shaking his head. "Been for a while, too. Ever since Simanzi."
Alden Alden nods, "I wish I would say I don't know how it feels when your home is... ruined like this..." he says, "At least part of my own... home universe is in pretty bad shape." he says softly, "Are you searching for something?" he asks curiously.
Blurr "Yeah? Doesn't surprise me, seems to be a common denominator with a lot of people." Blurr sighs. He nods at the question. "I'm looking for something, yeah. I'd tell you but it's classified. And you're not even Union, are you?"
Alden Alden shakes his head, "Been considering joining... or perhaps the syndicate... hard to decide, got friends on all... the organizations." he says softly.
Blurr Blurr raises an optic ridge at Alden. "Even the Confederacy?" he asks, sounding somewhat incredulous. "Mostly scrapheap types who join them, you know. It's easy to be nice, of course. When you've got some agenda you need to get after, right?"
Alden Alden sighs, "Well, I know that, but the ones I met seem to not be that bad, even helped me into some... hard situations where it might have been better to just leave me be." he says softly, before adding, "I like to think they might not be that bad at least, but might be wrong." hesays. The digimon streetches, "I have considered joining either the syndicate or Union."
Blurr "Like I said, easy to be nice when you have an agenda in mind." Blurr reminds him. "If anyone knows that, I should. I'm sure they just want you to join them, that's why they helped you."
Alden Alden does not want to argue about motivations or such of other people, so he simply nods, "Who knows." he says softly.
Blurr Blurr keeps searching through the rubble. "You sure you want to stick around here, Alden?" he asks. "Like I said, not exactly the prettiest place in the galaxy." He glances around carefully. "Unless you've got a pretty good reason to be here, risking getting eaten by the Swarm isn't usually worth it."
Alden Alden ponders for a few moments, "Well, I guess I am not likely to be much help for you, especially since this is some classified thing." he says softly, "So I should likely return to the portal... I am tempted to explore but the other machines seem a bit too dangerous." he says, "I am sorry for interrupting your work."
Blurr "No, I was about done here, anyway." Blurr says, shaking his head. "Don't think it's here. I could take you to the Ark, that's a lot safer." He suggests. "Ever been there?"
Alden Alden smiles, "Nah, never been there, I haven't been in many places really."
Blurr "Blurr puts away the scanner. "Well you want to see it? Since you seem to like exploring. Would be a lot nicer than here, that's for sure."
Alden Alden nods and smiles a few times, "It sounds good." he says, "Let me do something so I don't slow you down while we get to the portal." he muses. The digimon reaches around for the belt he is wearing around, and picks a card from a box, sliding it around the handheld thing he was carrying. There is a rather bright glow that engulfs the gabumon, before he bursts into voxels!. IT reveals a fairly different, and larger creature!, a quadrupedal, adn seemingly robotic/android wolf, with rocket launchers on it's shoulders. "I think I should be careful and not risk it." he explains, in a somewhat deeper voice.
Blurr "Risk what?" Blurr asks, optic ridges raised as he watches Alden transform into something larger. "You think you can handle an orbital jump? It's like a teleport."
Alden "I was just worried about the bugs if we erturned to the portal." he explains, his tail giving a flick or two, "I don't recall teleporting like that before, but I don't think it might be too bad."
Blurr Blurr chuckles. "If that's the case, then you shouldn't have to worry about the bugs. I'll just tag you, activate my recall, and--" He says, pausing for a moment as there is a bright flash of blue light and the two of them are not on Cybertron any more but on a small Autobot stealth vessel in orbit. Well, it is small by Cybertronian standards, but by human standards it probably still seems quite large.
Alden The digimon blinks at the flash of light, and looks rather surprised, sniffing the air and looking around a few moments, "That was fast." he says, his tail wagging a bit.
Blurr "I did tell you it was like a teleport." Blurr laughs a little, moving over to the controls to start setting a destination in. "Now we'll dock with the Ark in a bit and I can show you around a little." Not too much though. Some areas are strictly for allies, like the Union.
Alden Alden laughs and twitches his tail more, "True, still, it was fast, did not expect the teleport to be done so quickly."he says, padding around slowly, but making sure not to touch anything. "Eh, I will be glad to to see it for a second before returning home." he says, grinning.
Blurr "Yeah? Where do you live?" Blurr asks as the engines fire up and the ship jumps to hyperspace.
Alden "Eh, don't think I have seen anyone from my world outside in the multiverse, so not sure how much saying 'the digital world' can help." he chuckles, "I met other digimon but they are all from other... universes, so it's not even teh same one."
Blurr "'The digital world'? Is that a planet somewhere in some sector?" Blurr asks. "Or is that another dimension?" The hyperdrive engines burst to life and the stars streak by as the vessel accelerates to FTL speed. Once everything is locked in place, the racer turns away from the controls and looks at Alden.
Alden The digimon sits on his haunches, "It's another... dimension I think?, another universe? not sure the terms on the multiverse just yet." he says with a grin, the robot wolf poking his head arounhd at the controls.
Blurr Blurr nods. "Another dimension, interesting. Sometimes I wonder how many of those there are out there, heh." The vessel slows suddenly, dropping from hyperspace. Before the front facing window the massive Autobot flagship looms.
Alden The big wolf thing tries to peek at the window, and sits as close to the autobot as he can, "Wow, that's the Ark?" he asks, a bit of a dumb question really.
Blurr "Sure is." Blurr confirms. He opens a comm to request docking, reciting an IFF code along with the ship's name. "Well I mean, I don't know if I could say it's THE Ark, it's Ark-32; there are more than a dozen others just like it. Not sure exactly how many, that'd be a question for uhm, someone other than me."
Alden Alden almost looks like he wants to stick his head through a window, eyes fixed on the approaching, massive ship, "Wow." he says again, blade tail twitching harmlessly, "I see, guess that makes sense, evacuation ships?." he asks.
Blurr "Evacuation? Uh, no not exactly." Blurr shakes his head. "They came from a time long before the Exodus, actually. War machines mostly, built millennia ago by Nova Prime." He explains, though he -conveniently- leaves out the 'conquest' bit.

The hangar doors open before them as the ship pulls in and docks at one of the fueling stations inside.
Alden Alden tilts his head, "ah, the name ark kind of hinted a tsomething like that." he says, "So that's a war ship?, amazing." he says softly. The digimon glows brightly, before he seems to revert to the form he had earlier. "Thanks for inviting me here, I hope you won't get in trouble."
Blurr ""Really," Blurr peers at Alden curiously. "'Ark'? Evacuation? Uhhh...must be a weird translation thing, then." A more accurate translation would have been 'vanguard', but again, he leaves that part out as well. The airlock opens with a hiss and he starts moving toward it. "And I won't get in trouble--as long as you stay out of prohibited areas, that is."
