Owner Pose
Mitsu Mirage     It's late afternoon at the Archipelagos, on one of the many... many islands around. Water is crashing on the island's beaches and there's a white dressed woman with ovesized gauntlets standing with her hands upon the hips. "Now, where are we.." she takes a brief look around and as a wave crashes into the back of her legs, she's bounding off like a rabbit in the direction of those fields. It's not a heavily forested island but there's trees and the like around.

"Logia oh Logia, wherefore art thou Logia..." she bounces off a tree, kicking off to hop into the air and, with eyes closed, looks around without direction... "And... there you are..." and off to the north east she bounds towards...
Fate T. Harlaown When alarms began to blare over TSAB frequencies, word traveled quickly through the Enforcers about the presence of a Lost Logia. It may not be a high energy one, but it was still a Lost Logia, and still should be recovered and sealed.

That is what brings Fate T. Harlaown to this planet, appearing in a large teleport circle in the sky with a bright flash of yellow. She has no reason to be stealthy, so her entry is not exactly hard to spot. "Mmm. This is the place. Bardiche, begin a search."

~Yes, Sir~
Mitsu Mirage     No one's contesting it, it looks like. The former Rabbit of TSAB is bounding her way around trees, rocks and what have you to find this Logia, because by now, she thinks, someone from the TSAB should have picked up on it and sent someone. Doesn't matter, though, Mitsu's got this one in the bag... at least... she hopes in this case. "Kratzenfaust, local scan. See if you can find it... It might be buried."

    ~Understood...~
Fate T. Harlaown Rather than drop to the ground, Fate remains in the air, flying over the treetops. All the better to scan rather than from the ground, though it's hard to make much visual contact through the leaves.

~Sir~

"Mmm? Find something, Bardiche? The Lost Logia?"

~No, Sir. Device signature detected. Kratzenfaust.~

"...I see." Fate presses her lips into a line for a moment, then nods slowly. "Let's go pay a visit, shall we? Keep scanning for the Lost Logia, though." A soft chime is all the reply she gets as she banks through the air and descends down through tree branches, coming into view a short distance in front of the bounding bunny. She's smiling, at least. That's a good sign, right?
Mitsu Mirage     "Okay, it should be around here somewhere, isn't it, Kratzenfaust?" she looks to the gauntlets and frowns, "I said isn't it, Kratzenfaust?!" that smile is gone away and she skids to a stop as the device makes a few bings. "What is it?"

~Three hundred meters away sir...~ the device pauses ~And a second signature. Device. Bardiche.

Mitsu frowns, great, one of the best of the TSAB is here and she's not even close to the Logia. Welp, play it cool..

"I know you are there, TESTAROSSA!"

    That wasn't cool.

    "Kratzenfaust, Wild Strike Form."

~Understood. Standby. Loading cartridges.~ The gauntlets make an ammunition loading sound and soon, the bunny bounces off again and starts running towards the location of the Logia. "Get ready, Kratzenfaust..."
Fate T. Harlaown No, that was not cool at all. And even though she looks surprised, Fate doesn't really look angry. "Really, Miss Mirage? I never expected that you would follow the Lost Logia signature here."

The blonde lets out a soft sigh, shifting her grip on her Device. So far, she's yet to make an aggressive move, but she's also not stupid... especially now that she's heard Kratzenfaust charging up. "Be prepared, Bardiche." A soft chime sounds in reply, and then Fate isn't there anymore.

~Sonic Move~

She is, instead, right by Mitsu's side, armored boots touching the ground. "I think it would be better if you calmed down so we can talk, Miss Mirage. Don't you think that would be the easier way?"
Mitsu Mirage     ~Warning.~ comes the chime from Kratzenfaust, Mitsu's head perking up from it. "What in..." when Fate suddenly appears at her side, she bounces backwards and skids to a halt. "I forgot... your speed is legendary amongst the TSAB there, Fate..." comes a slightly annoyed voice... "What, did you come here to get /my/ Logia?" she snaps back, "And talk about what, how the TSAB is gonna cover this one up too? Tch, it'd be better if the TSAB didn't exist."

~Target is close.~ "Really?" a pause is given, causing Mitsu to scan the area, "Heh... so there it is... I'm afraid we may have to talk later, I know where it is and I'm not going to let you beat me to it." Mitsu crouches down a bit.. "Now if you'll pardon me, I'm afraid we don't have much to say."
Zephyr Windstar     <Approaching Target Location now.> chimes Divine Wind, as Zephyr streaks through the sky. "Got it, scan for magical signatures, shift to Mistral Form and deploy Storm mode. Seeker formation."

<DEVICE SET. MISTRAL FORM. MISTRAL STORM. SEEKER FORMATION.> The Device shifts to the smaller axe form, and three Bits spall off of it, forming up around the flying mage like Options, circling around her midsection as they gather magic into their centers, ready to fire. A pulse of magic rings out, seeking sources of active magic in the designated area. "Gotchya." Zephyr wings over, and approaches Fate's position. "Captain Harlaown, I got your call, I was dispatched as the closest asset available!" she calls out, landing heavily with a sudden burst of dust as she arrests her speed.
Yuna Kagurazaka Zephyr's not the only other person approaching, although Mtsu and Kratzenfaust wouldn't pick up any TSAB-type signatures from this one. Or maybe they would; Yuna doesn't have a Device per se, but the battlesuit she uses might seem like comparable tech ...

Either way, Yuna is flying in from a different direction - and she is flying, already in her Flight Form armor with the winged flight pack propelling her through the sky. Spotting Zephyr and Fate, the battlesuited blonde angles to form up with the former, coming in a little higher than the two TSAB magi; the tiny robo-faerie form of Elner is accompanying her. If Jiina or Marina are en route, they haven't gotten into sight yet.

"Fate, Zephyr," Yuna greets her allies. "Elner told me something was up and that an extra hand might be appreciated ... ?"
Fate T. Harlaown That reaction brings a faint smile to Fate's lips as she tilts her head. "If you know about my speed, then you know it will be a lot easier if you talk instead of trying to run..." She can hope, can't she? "...your Logia? You realize how dangerous these can be, right?"

A frown comes to the Enforcer's face, though she looks up again as her Device pings softly. "Mmnn. I'm afraid I can't let you do that, Miss Mirage." Fate glances up briefly as Bardiche gives a ping of acknowledgement to the arrival of Divine Wind and her master, along with Yuna. "Glad to have you here, Zephyr. If things go well, this can be resolved without a fight." Crimson eyes focus sharply on Mitsu at that statement. Whether or not there's a fight is not going to be Fate's decision.
Mitsu Mirage     ... OH great, THREE people who can fly. Well, this wasn't going to be easy... and when did she send for backup?! "Yes, /my/ Logia. I know how dangerous they can be, I helped in a few when I was still with the TSAB. I'm sure my file would show that, if you haven't deleted it..." she shrugs and looks down to her gauntlets, "And I snagged a few for my family when I was let go." she gives a bit of a shrug once more and starts walking away.

"But hey, I guess you're just a little shit that can't do things alone. I detected this thing far before you guys did. As I said, there's nothing to talk about... and I don't think you can tell me what I can or can't do anymore, 'boss'."

She gives a look between Zephyr and Yuna... another device and... an armored woman. This might not go well if she does... but.. "Gotta run." the sound of a cartridge loading into the gaunlets echo out, "Kratzenfaust. Let's do this. You know what I need." she points her gauntlets at the ground and a chime is emitted from the device.

~Standby. Set up. Tempest Claw Storm~ MItsu slams both her hands together and, with a spell circle for belkan magic appearing, a small gust of wind and blue lightning crash around, kicking up a dust storm from the ground, using this as cover, the Rabbit starts hopping off at a high rate of speed, towards the Logia!
Zephyr Windstar     "A Device!?" exclaims Zephyr, "Modern Belkan too... so that was..." She grips her own Device a bit tighter. "Waiting on your orders, Captain... We have the speed advantage, if we need it, but I don't think I could take her at cross-range. If that's really an Armed Device..."

<REROUTING POWER. INCREASE CIRCUITS FULLY OPEN. READY FOR STRIKE.> chimes Divine Wind, as the blade glows a boiling purple with her mana coursing through it.
Yuna Kagurazaka It's Elner who sends the reply ping on Yuna's behalf; where Bardiche and Divine Wind are capable of communicating *and* acting as their partners' weapons, Elner's functionality is pretty much all support. Yuna has to do her own heavy lifting when it comes to combat, and her actual weapons don't talk. Still, Elner also provides protocols to the two Devices to set up a quick (and dirty) tactical network, which should help with their coordination somewhat.

Rather than conjuring one of her weapons, though, Yuna looks at Mitsu powering up her own Device and calls out, "Shugoseiheki!!" as she brings her left arm up in front of her. And what materializes in response to the call is, indeed, not a weapon.

Unless you count a large kite shield as a 'weapon'. She's not wielding it like she plans to shoot energy beams from it or anything, though - just getting ready to protect herself, in case anything gets launched at her. She's mostly holding position, 'drifting' up a bit higher to give Fate and Zephyr extra room to work; once she knows where she should go, she'll stop hovering and head in the appropriate direction.
Fate T. Harlaown "If you know how dangerous they can be, then you know why I'm here, and why I can't let you walk away with it." Fate frowns slightly at the insults, but she lets them go for now. She's aware of some of Mitsu's past dealings with the Bureau, even if she wasn't directly involved. "...I was never your boss, you know."

When she sees the Belkan glyph appear, Fate prepares a defensive shield... but it seems that wasn't necessary. "Just a transportation spell, then..." The blonde glances back, nodding toward Zephyr and Yuna. "Pursuit only. We're not to engage or attack unless she attacks us first. Just be ready, though. I'm not sure how deep her grudge against the Bureau goes."

Crimson eyes close briefly, and Bardiche give a soft chime. And then Fate is off, flying in the same direction Mitsu leaped. "Bardiche, keep scanning the databases. We need to find out what this Lost Logia does before anyone can touch it."
Zephyr Windstar     "Got it, defensive combat only." responds Zephyr, gathering herself up and leaping into the air, arching around to the right 'flank' while Fate goes down the middle. "Dee, shunt power into Area Search. Magical signatures. If she's using her Device actively, she'll be kicking off a lot of mana." she orders.

<UNDERSTOOD. AREA SEARCH!> replies Divine Wind, as it spits out a set of wisp-like search bodies, which shoot off in the general direction of where Mitsu went. They don't give visual feedback, but are actively scanning for magical and any other kind of signature. "Maintain a Shield at ready 1 standby... if she tries to get the drop on us, I don't wanna get slapped down like a rookie." Divine Wind just chimes wordlessly in response.
Mitsu Mirage     The chase is on with the three hounds against the lone rabbit. "Heh, they'll never catch up now." famous last words. "Alright, Kratzenfaust, area search, give me the location down to the meter!" and with just a simple chime it starts working at it, shunting some power towards it.. Mitsu's own sense of logia hunting is quite good but even a bit of help will go long. "Alright... where is it." she mutters, "Should be here... or was it there?"

~Warning. Incoming Magical Signatures. Two Devices and unknown.~ "Damn, well, this is an island, they were bound to catch up." not that Mitsu went TOO terribly far. Well, maybe this will deter them. She kicks forward, just to turn her back towards her traveling direction and with a pair of large swipes, she sends six total waves of blue lightning arcs towards the ones following. "Maybe that'll tell them to back off...!"

~It's been found. Two hundred meters. North east.~ "Good..."
Yuna Kagurazaka Yuna nods to Fate, but rather than heading off in a straight-line pursuit course after Mitsu, she's actually angling off to one side a bit - just by a degree or so, and then narrowing back in so she doesn't get TOO far separated from the pair of TSAB agents. Apparently she's thinking in terms of trying to 'catch up' and encircle the unknown Device-user.
Fate T. Harlaown A soft chime from her Device warns Fate of the incoming attacks. She shoots a quick glance at Zephyr to make sure the younger Mage is aware that it's coming, then begins her own defensive maneuvers. With a streak of golden light in her wake, the blonde moves in a tight loop, neatly circling the first two blasts heading her way.

A moment later, a round glyph appears in front of her, deflecting away the next blast as she speeds toward Mitsu. "That Device is a powerful one... Be careful, she knows how to use it."

After a few more seconds of giving chase, Fate extends one hand forward. "Let's see if we can slow her down. Ready, Bardiche?" The device chimes softly, and yellow light begins to form around Mitsu. If she doesn't notice it in time, it becomes a solid band circling around her, contracting quickly!

~Lightning Bind~
Mitsu Mirage     "Heh, they don't know what's comi..." a warning chime comes from Kratzenfaust but it comes too late as the binding spell takes hold and binds her arms up towards her body, holding everthing tightly together, the sudden bind also causes Mitsu to trip over herself and roll to a stop. "Aaaaugh! No.. ow..." she groans a bit, struggling against the binding spell. "Damnit..." ~Master?~ "OH NOW you decide to call me Master... what else have you been hiding from me, Kratzenfaust?"

~Warning. Get up.~ "Nngh." she slowly crawls up to her knees and soon, literally bunny hops to stand back up. "Stupid binding spells..." she grumbles, "Why didn't they teach me that..." she shakes her head and waits. "Damn it all. I was so close too... What other tricks do you have up your sleeve, Kratzenfaust..." ~Lightning Dagger. Set up.~

Another cartridge loading noise along with shells being ejected, the blades glow a bright blue... "Alright, let's wait..."
Zephyr Windstar     <MASTER! EVADE!> "I got it!" the pair jink out, and do a tight barrel roll around the incoming slashes. As Fate sets up her own binding spell, Zephyr comes in with something of her own. "Ready, Divine Wind!" <Made ready, Master.> a pause, then <STORM BIND FORMATION!> The Bits fly out, and form a triangular formation around the rogue mage, then lash out with their own, albiet weaker binding ribbons to add to Fate's Lightning Bind. "Restrict Lock!" <LOCKING.> Zephyr then lands nearby, brandishing her Device. "Stand down... we have you outnumbered and outclassed."
Yuna Kagurazaka The successful Lightning Bind brings Yuna to a halt - not for being captured by it, of course, but because the Device-user has been brought to a rather uncomfortable-looking halt, and Zephyr's addition to it seems to clinch things.

On the other hand, the brightening glow of those blades is a blatant clue that Mitsu isn't going to give up that easily. Yuna doesn't know if the unknown Device-user is going to be able to break free of the binding spells, let alone how much effort it'll take ...

The blonde in the purple-and-white battlesuit bites her lip slightly, then takes a deep breath, a pistol materializing in her right hand. She doesn't take aim with it or anything, but she's maneuvering to put herself in Mitsu's field of view, and she's not hiding her weapon.

Elner's maintaining scans of the area for good measure; the robo-faerie's sensors aren't really good at picking up raw magic, but the *side effects* of magic - energy surges without a source, temperature changes with no detectable cause, and comparably unexplained phenomena - tend to show up well enough to classify as 'magic at work' under Elner's analysis. If the Logia is acting up, Elner might notice - even if it's after the Devices (which *CAN* detect magic directly) would identify it.
Fate T. Harlaown Once her bind takes hold, Fate lets out a breath. "Good. Now..." She glances back at Zephyr and nods once. "Let's not be too harsh on her. I know she has some history with the Bureau, and..." The blonde pauses and shakes her head. "It's not my place to go into details now. Let's say she has a right to be upset with us."

Armored boots touch down not far from Mitsu, and Fate takes a few more steps forward. "Miss Mirage. I can see that you and Kratzenfaust have begun to work together pretty well." Her voice is soft, though there's still soem caution in her posture. "We're going to find the Lost Logia and seal it. And then I'm going to release you. You technically have not done anything wrong yet." She'll overlook the whole attacking an Enforcer thing, since she and Zephyr managed to weather the attack without injury. "You're free to hate me if you want, but don't confuse me, the individual, with the entire organization of the Bureau that existed years ago."
Mitsu Mirage     The second binding spell locks her even further into place. "God damn..." she squirms a bit, trying to break from the twin binding spells...failing horribly at this. BUt as Fate gets close, she bounces back a way, taking more bunnyhops. "Damn right I have a reason to be upset." a pause, looking at her gauntlets, "Kratzenfaust still has secrets I've yet to unlock... I think it's still mad at me." of course, anything sentient and used after getting stolen would be mad, right?

"You can't seal it..." she scoffs, "I found this one first... you know... the TSAB knows my rangefinding capabilities. I unwillingly led you here for my prize..." she bounces back once more, "Blue Lightning Storm..." ~Understood.~ "Considering you're binding me without reason, I'm going to give you one." the blades of Kratzenfaust extend out and drape on the ground with a stiff, but flexible metal rope attached between them. "I know the exact location, and you're not going to get it!"

Mitsu bounces up and starts spinning around, the blades start whipping around in a fury. Claws whipping up like a frenzy of crazed rabbits. Blue sparks emitting from them as she makes her way towards the Logia. "You thought binding my arms would stop this?!"
Zephyr Windstar     <MISTRAL STORM OUTRIGGERS REACHING CRITICAL STRESS!> warns Divine Wind, as the Bits are pulled in by the spinning rogue. The ribbons crack and begin to unravel, before they snap completely, causing the three Bits to fall to the ground in a sparking disabled state.

<MISTRAL SYSTEM OFFLINE. REDISTRIBUTING POWER.> "Damn it. GET BACK HERE!" She gathers up, ready to lauch after the rogue mage down the hole she's digging, her Flight Spell manifesting as four purple pixie wings on her back.
Yuna Kagurazaka So much for the (rogue) Device-user being stopped. Yuna grimaces as she flies ahead again, letting the pistol disappear from her hands - and then she just drops into Mitsu's path with Shugoseiheki ready and braced.

It's a calculated gamble: Shugoseiheki would be a strong defense even if it were still the straightforward kite shield Yuna was first given, and the Mizzium reinforcement it got from Niv-Mizzet when he helped integrate it into Yuna's equipment just made it even more sturdy. Actually being *part* of Yuna's equipment and powers gives the Wall of the Guardian Star the benefit of conducting her battlesuit's protective aura - at the cost that potentially-damaging impacts to the shield take their toll on the Light Suit's power reserves.

Still, Yuna's willing to pit her endurance against Mitsu's blades. "Why are you - so fired up about - getting that Logia, anyway?" Yuna calls out, bracing against the bladestrikes as best she can; the shock of impact is what interrupts her question, more than anything else.
Fate T. Harlaown "Mm. Is it?" Fate tilts her head slightly. "Kratzenfaust, what do you think of Miss Mirage?" She talks to Bardiche and Raising Heart all the time, so directly addressing a Device is nothing new to her. She suspects that the Device likes Mitsu more than the rabbit realizes, too.

Hearing the name of the attack gives Fate the split second she needs to prepare for it, even if she isn't sure exactly what it will be. "I didn't Bind you to stop you, I did it so you'd have to listen..." Fate lets out a soft sigh. Nanoha probably would have blasted her into a crater by now to make her sit still to talk. Of course, the attack weakens the Bind... and it's only a few seconds before the blades manage to strike it enough to shatter it.

The Enforcer doesn't give chase just yet. She takes to the air, though, and begins flying alongside Zephyr. "Remember, Zephyr, try to stay calm. Doing something rash against an opponent is going to get you in trouble." She glances back to Yuna as they give chase. "Most likely because the Bureau wants it..."
Mitsu Mirage     ~Mirage is Unrefined. But takes care of Kratzenfaust~ the device responds before the rabbit bounds away once more, the blades retracting when the bind is broken. Maybe the device actually does like Mitsu, but right now, Mitsu's running away. Again. Though, Mitsu does get one response out at Yuna before she runs again. "Because of the Bureau, that's why!"

"Nngh... where the hell is it... how close are we?!" she grumbles, hopping away from one tree to another... "Grrr.." ~One hundred feet. Fifty feet. North east.~ "Finally..." once more, bouncing into the direction,... she comes across a small device, a disk in shape with a large black spot on it... "This... is the logia?"
Zephyr Windstar     Zephyr grumbles to herself, but takes a few breaths as Fate falls into formation with her. "Yeah... I got it." she replies to the elder mage, turning to follow the rogue Device user. "I wasn't fond of the Bureau to start with either..." she remarks idly, shaking her head before she wings over, angling down to interpose herself in front of Mitsu.
Yuna Kagurazaka Right, Yuna thinks. Mages from the TSAB's general neck of the Multiverse can not only move that fast, but can *dodge* when moving at that speed. She shouldn't have led so much.

But then, Yuna also doesn't really want to hurt Mitsu, either. Just because she can hold most of her weapons down to a non-lethal level of output doesn't mean that letting the other girl slam headlong into Shugoseiheki wouldn't hurt her proportionally to the force of her impact. But 'because of the Bureau' doesn't really answer her - and now that Mitsu is apparently right on top of her target (or at least has stopped running, and sounds like she spotted something), Yuna is running out of ways to stop her, or to help Fate and Zephyr.

"I'm not a member of the Bureau," Yuna notes as she approaches the spot where Mitsu is now standing; Yuna's still airborne and still has her kite shield at the ready, but her right hand is empty of weaponry. "I know I'm helping two members of the TSAB, but - what's your grudge against the Bureau? Why work against them this intensely? And what do you plan to do with this Lost Logia?"

Yuna slows to a halt, too far away from Mitsu for either of them to execute an easy melee attack without moving. Of course, either of them could easily close that distance for a strike - and both of them have ranged options as well. Still, Yuna is trying to engage the rogue mage - not in combat, but in conversation. She doesn't know what Fate or Zephyr have in mind, she's just trying to get the other girl to open up at least a *little* bit. Maybe that would create the opportunity to finish this by talking instead of fighting.

Of course, if it's still destined to be a matter of combat, there won't be a lot Yuna can do - but she's not letting her guard down, at least, not enough for her shield or her battlesuit to go anywhere.
Fate T. Harlaown "It's good to hear that you're getting along." Even if it was stolen, Fate is glad that someone is getting along well with their Device. "Mmm... Nor was I, Zephyr. Being at odds with the Bureau isn't terribly uncommon." The blonde smiles softly. "That doesn't change what's right, though."

Rather than attempting another Bind spell, Fate glances quickly aside at Yuna and Zephyr, coming up short of Mitsu and touching down softly. "Miss Mirage... if you're not even sure if that's the Lost Logia, then it's even more dangeorus to try to use it, let alone touch it. Let's at least seal it before we go any further."
Mitsu Mirage     They caught up, as figured. She takes a breath and turns around, only to have a face full of Zephyr. "Yo." she responds, clutching onto the Logia tightly, turning towards Fate and Yuna.. "All this over a mage who wants a Logia. I know how dangerous these are, that's the reason why I'm taking them when I can. I used to help the TSAB even after being fired, my knowledge and my sense to find them helped a lot for some of the Logia. Even when I did my treasure hunting days."

Mitsu walks backwards a few steps before tripping on something.. the Logia goes flying from her hands. "NO!" ~Detecting activation... magical levels rising.~ "Eh?" making a thud on the ground, Mitsu looks at the Logia in the air... and a pair of black holes being made. It's not those that are gravity wells, fortunately... "What in the world?"
Zephyr Windstar     "Hey." replies Zephyr, taking a half step back when Mitsu does... and then the Lost Logia starts activating. <Lost Logia has activated. Magic levels rising rapidly.> concurs Divine Wind. "Not good..." she then leaps up and snatches the artifact, expanding her magic field out around it. <Initiating Sealing. Standby.> chimes Divine Wind, as Zephyr winces while pushing the expanding magic field back in with her own.
Yuna Kagurazaka At least Mitsu answered, and Yuna nods to her - just before the Logia is dropped, floats in the air on its own, and activates. Neither Yuna nor Elner need to measure the rise in mana levels to tell that much.

Yuna flits backwards, Shugoseiheki disappearing in a shimmer of light before the Matrix Divider forms in her hands. "What do you need me to do?" she calls out to the experienced mages; she can dish out a few different forms of firepower, but she CAN'T help with the actual sealing - and simply launching attacks willy-nilly could very well make things worse, if those holes would absorb the energy and add it to the Logia's stores thereof.
Fate T. Harlaown "Then I'm sure you'll understand why it's best to keep it somewhere it can't be accidentally activated until we know just what it does."

...like what just happened.

Without even a moment of hesitation, Fate snaps her arm up, forming a shield in between Mitsu and the black holes formed by the Logia. "Zephyr, see if you and Divine Wind can seal it. Scan it at least. Yuna..." The Enforcer glances back briefly. "How well can that thing handle shields? I know Miss Mirage has a lot of experience sealing Lost Logia, so if you can watch her back..." Crimson eyes focus on Mitsu for a moment, waiting to see if her unspoken offer of a truce will be taken.
Mitsu Mirage     Mitsu's on the ground and she can't even hop up in time to try to get to the Logia as the shield's erected around it and Zephyr going insane to seal it. "Ugh, all this way and..." she curses something under her breath as she keeps herself on the ground. At this point, there's nothing she /can/ do... she's done sealing and has seen enough sealings to know how it's done... She /wants/ to interrupt it... she /wants/ to see what it does. So what does she do?

Thankfully with the competing magic fields there might be an opening to do something. Though, with those crimson eyes on her... she just waits a moment and when she gets a chance, she lobs a rock around the shield and into one of those black holes. And the rock... goes shooting away from the OTHER hole. Oh how Mitsu will have /fun/ with that one.. ~We will comply~ comes the response from Kratzenfaust, just waiting for the Logia to be sealed up now.

"You're going to release it to me when you're done..." she demands, "I've at least cooperated in this much, you can let me leave with what /I/ found first..."
Zephyr Windstar     <Enclosing perimeter. Executing triforced packet entrapment. Extending enhancer chain. The Lost Logia will reach critical magical expansion in three minutes.> states Divine Wind as small purple ringlets appear around the central 'core' of the Logia. Zephyr's hands begin to smoke as the conflicting mana fields fight back and forth, the black of the Logia sparking against the dark purple of the Wind Mage. "C'mon... C'mon!" she growls jaw clenched and mismatched eyes narrowed in consentration.
Yuna Kagurazaka Yuna blinks a bit at Fate's question. "Um ... if you want me to help break through the Logia's barriers, I can do that, but my heaviest firepower is in Powered Form and I didn't bring Jiina. Otherwise I can just blast away at it with the Matrix Divider and my pulse blasters, try and wear away at its defenses that way. But I can definitely watch Mitsu's back if you'd rather have me focus on that - trying to counter or block whatever attacks the Logia lobs at the rest of us."

Of course, most of what it does might amount to intercepting attacks with one portal and using the other portal to stamp them all 'return to senders' ... and Yuna remembers at least one enemy who made a habit of doing the same thing. "I wonder if coming in from three or four directions would mean it can't deal with all of us ..."
Fate T. Harlaown "I'm not sure -what- this might do. It's better to seal it now in case part of its normal function includes explosions." Fate has lost count of how many Lost Logia she's come across that can explode. She blinks in surprise as Mitsu moves to throw that rock. "Ah, wait--!"

But then she sees what it can do, and she just blinks slowly. "...huh. At least that doesn't seem to be immediately dangerous." She doesn't answer Mitsu's demand just yet, but the Enforcer does reach down to offer a hand to help the girl up.

"...I would rather scan it before deciding where it's going to go." Fate is trying very hard to be noncommittal, though, not wanting a firefight to break out. "It seems to be peaceful for now, Yuna, so perhaps it doesn't have a programmed directive. It may just be useful. How does it feel to you, Zephyr?"
Zephyr Windstar     "It's... not actively fighting back, there's just a /lot/ of stored power in here." she strains out. The ringlets begin to rotate around like one of those ring-inside-ring desk toys, before they lock into place one after another. Divine Wind chimes resonantly. <SEALING!> as the last one locks in, then they all constrict down around the disk.

The entire thing suddenly goes silent, the small 'portals' cutting out an instant after the core is sealed. Zephyr's hands come to rest on the device, and she slumps down, to her knees, letting the disk fall into her lap as she looks at the palms of her hands, gloves burned away with some nasty magical burns on her palms.

"Ow? I think I'm gonna go with 'ow' here." she comments distantly.
Mitsu Mirage     Mitsu takes the offer and stands up with a bit of help from Fate, though with a slightly embarrased look, she looks away from Fate and mutters "Thanks..." and with a sigh, she looks at the disk in Zephyr's lap, damnit, her one chance to get the Logia away from the TSAB... and she failed it. "Look, if it's more dangerous than I can handle, I'll..." she pauses, "I'll send it back to you, but we four know it's not dangerous... not at all." at least, not in THEIR hands...

"Of course there's a lot of power... you saw what it did or were you too focused on sacrificing yourself to seal it? I swear, you might be more reckless than me. Careful you don't get kicked out of the TSAB there, Windy." she looks at the three, she's still armed and ready, the device on her arms sparking slightly, the magical power within the quite high. "Now what, are you going to arrest me and throw me in the brig, Testarossa?" she scoffs slightly, "Somehow, I don't think you're going to be that cruel."

She turns to Yuna, "So you're just hired help then?" she questions, "So was my family. Went out to places that the TSAB couldn't scan. What about you?"
Yuna Kagurazaka Yuna shakes her head as she descends to hover a few inches off the ground. "I'm not on the TSAB's payroll; Zephyr's a friend, and Fate is ... well," she gives the twintailed blonde a wry grin, "a friendly acquaintance and a fellow Union member, if not a friend." She looks back at Mitsu, her expression somber. "I'm guessing by your grudge against the Bureau that your parents died on one of those missions ... but I'm gathering there's more to it than just that, if you're former Bureau personnel yourself."

She pauses briefly, a mildly awkward look on her face, before she winces. "Oh, I didn't - I'm sorry. My name's Yuna Kagurazaka; my 'day job' when I'm not assisting the Union is 'idol singer'. The circumstances could've been better, but it's nice to meet you ... uh, Mirage, was it?"

She offers a handshake ... although she's at least paying enough attention to offer the hand that (were Mitsu to return the handshake) she wouldn't have a sparking, highly-charged Device strapped to Mitsu's handshake arm. Yuna may normally be right-handed, but she's ambidextrous when it comes to handshakes.
Fate T. Harlaown "Yuna doesn't work for the Bureau, like she said, and doesn't get paid for coming along today. she's just here to help a friend." The Enforcer hums softly, glancing vaguely upwards. "I am technically not here officially, either. I'm trusted as an Enforcer to make the decisions that need to be made without having to check in."

Fate wrinkles her nose slightly as she sees the younger Mage's hands. "Zephyr, that was dangerous..." Letting out a soft breath, she walks over to pat the girl's head. "Good job, though. Just.. be careful." The blonde reaches down for the sealed disc, holding it up to look at it carefully. "Bardiche... do a scan." The Device lets out a soft chime in compliance.

Fate spares a glance up from the disc to look at Mitsu. "Hmmm? I don't recall anything happening here today that's worthy of an arrest or even a reprimand." There's the faintest hint of a smile on her lips, but it shows quite a bit more in her eyes. "Now, while Bardiche is scanning this... why do you want it?"
Zephyr Windstar     "Yeah, I'm reckless... it's why I'm still only a B-rank and a third-class Private in the Ground forces." she replies back to Mitsu. "I never got on with the Bureau either... longest time, I was just some out-for-myself merc with a hand-me-down Storage Device."

She stands, and winces as she grabs Divine Wind up again, flinching a little at the headpatting. "So, what's your beef with the Bureau?"
Mitsu Mirage     "Mitsu "Inaba" Mirage. Double A rank mage, former TSAB. Since you felt like muttering your rank." she smirks to Zephyr, and eyeing Yuna's attempt at a handshake. "Power down, Kratzenfaust." ~Understood.~ and with a bit of a light flash, she's in her normal outfit with white bracelets upon her wrists. Her outfit... is decidedly rabbit themed as well. Then she proceeds to shake her hand, at least they don't /need/ to know she's a Confederate ally...

"Hand-me-down Storage Device? I sto... Kratzenfaust was given to me as well." the device chimes a bit confused to try to cover up the error. "You do not think that the holes it makes are pretty useful? Sure, it might make a few people lazy but I can use that to hold up a Lost Logia from far away and make sure it's good to handle. Wonder what else it could do..." she ponders a bit at this, "Maybe it'll help me get to some higher places I can't reach. Never did learn how to fly."

She pauses a moment, "Guess that's why I got the nickname Inaba. Bounding everywhere just as fast as some people could fly. Decidedly rabbit like." though, when the question about her beef with the Bureau is asked... "A coverup. That's all I'm gonna say. I'm sure you can find the ... falsities in the databases."
Yuna Kagurazaka Mitsu's being a Confederate ally wouldn't necessarily make Yuna take back her greeting, much less her introduction. But it's probably still just as well that it doesn't come up. "I'm not really a mage, either," Yuna notes while shaking hands. "It's a long story to explain, and I don't think we want to stand around while I tell it."

And Mitsu 'explaining' that her issue with the Bureau is some kind of 'coverup' sounds an awful lot like dodging the question, but again, Yuna's not about to pry. If Fate or Zephyr think the details should be shared, Yuna will trust their discretion on the matter - and in a way, it's more honest of Mitsu to say that: she's basically leaving them to find out whatever the Bureau's records say instead of simply telling her side (or version) of it. "So do you prefer being called 'Inaba'?" is Yuna's only real question at this point.
Fate T. Harlaown "Mmm.." Fate can only hope that Zephyr will get used to her headpats. It's a show of motherly affection, after all! "For a long time, Yuna, some of the leadership of the Bureau was corrupt. Most of that is gone now, but..." The blonde offers a sad smile. "It's hard to fully get rid of it. There are lots of things that were done off the records or behind the scenes that we're still dealing with today."

Fate glances back at the Logia briefly, before nodding to Mitsu. "Miss Mirage..." She pauses to give Mitsu a light pat on the head also. Soo? Nobody is safe! "...undoubtedly suffered from something like that. I won't judge you feelings toward the Bureau, but I'd like you to understand that we aren't all out to get you." She tilts her head toward Zephyr. "Isn't that right?"
Zephyr Windstar     Zephyr frowns a bit at the 'Windy' comment. She shrugs, and just stands aside, passively while her hands throb and ache from her reckless sealing technique.

She looks to Fate when addressed, then shrugs and nods. "Don't go messing with my friends or my home and you won't have to worry about me." she remarks offhandedly. "Live and let live, y'know?"
Mitsu Mirage     The head pat makes Mitsu make some sort of adorable noise... "So, not a mage and two TSAB mages.. I just run into the worst luck, huh." she gives a bit of a shrug, turning to Yuna, "I don't mind if you call me Inaba, was my codename for a few things. Inaba, rabbit... just not 'hey you'. I'll punch you if you do that." it's hard to tell if she was joking with that or not. She soon turns to Fate and Zephyr, "Yea, yea... some of you guys aren't bad... some of you guys aren't corrupt."

Mitsu sighs some, "You know how much I've heard that? Doesn't change what I feel about the Bureau." she mutters, a chime from Kraztenfaust gets her attention for a brief moment. ~You should return home, Master.~ ... "Kratzenfaust's right, it's late." her eyes fall upon the Lost Logia. "What's Bardiche say about it?"

She focuses on Zephyr directly, smirking at the frown. "C'mere... I have something to take care of those burns. Least I can do after seeing that stunt...."
Yuna Kagurazaka Yuna winces a little at Fate's explanation about the (hopefully former) corrupt elements within the TSAB's command. "Let me know if you need my help dealing with any of the pieces," she offers. ".. Or if there are any holdouts that you need non-Bureau firepower to help pry loose from their positions, or from their ill-gotten gains, or vice versa."

She nods at Mitsu/Inaba. "I think I can remember to call you by name or codename. You can call me Yuna. - And it's possible that your luck was at least partly good tonight, Inaba; would you have been able to deal with that Logia if you'd been all on your own ... or rather, if it'd been just you and Kratzenfaust? Granted, it turned out to not be that hard to seal, but you never know ..."

She punctuates that suggestion with a smile - not just a quick one, or even terribly wry, but a genuine, warm, bright smile. She really *is* happy that things went as smoothly as they did, and it's always good to make a new friend.
Zephyr Windstar     Zephyr gives a slightly dubious look, glances to Fate briefly, before dismissing her Device and Barrier Jacket. She sets the coin of her Device into the bracer on her right arm, wincing at her hands once more.

She then steps over to Inaba, tilting her head curiously. Her right hand is much worse off than her left, though both have some pretty nasty burns across the palms.
Fate T. Harlaown "Inaba is a pretty cute nickname," admits Fate with a smile at Mitsu. "All I ask is that you judge me for myself, not as an Enforcer with the TSAB. I offer you the same courtesy, knowing you for yourself instead of a former Bureau Mage." She'll still look at those old documents in detail later, but...

"I definitely appreciate the offer, Yuna. Hayate has been doing a lot on her own to work toward that, but it's a long-term effort." And now it's Yuna's turn for a headpat, along with a grateful smile for the assistance. "Mmm, this is true. Do you have a place to safely store any sealed Lost Logia you find, Inaba?"

Fate looks down at Fratzenfaust, then tot he sealed disc in her hand. Well, she has a few moments while Zephyr's hand is seen to. "...can I ask what you would do with a Lost Logia like this one?"
Mitsu Mirage     Out of one of the many pockets in her jacket, she pulls out a small, portable first aid kit.. "Alright, just hold still. Look, sorry for attacking earlier but you gotta understand, I was just doing it so I could get to the Logia first." she works on applying a few medical creams and gauze to keep the hands nice and ready for healing. "It will sting. Replace every three hours and use a stronger bandage when you need to go to bed. This should get you good to go."

She turns towards Fate and shrugs, "Well, when you move like one, have the speed of one and can't fly... it fits." a pause, "Yea, I have a place to safely store them. My home has a good bunker for them, magically shielded too." mainly so no one finds out where it is... "As for what I'm going to do with it, I told you, it's to help access some Logia that even I don't want to fully get near. I'd rather a hand get hurt or some sort of tool get hurt than my entire body."

Really though, she's going to use it to beat up things. "And, I guess I can. I mean, you're not arresting me or rebinding me... so I guess I can consider you one fo the few... 'good' people of the TSAB..."
Yuna Kagurazaka Yuna blushes faintly at the headpat, but she nods to Fate, returning the smile. "Anyway, I'm glad I was able to help out with the situation tonight ... and no lasting harm done, so no hard feelings?"

She does give Zephyr a slightly sheepish look as she says that; Zephyr's visibly the worst-off of the group, although that salve of Mitsu's should make sure the burns heal without residual scars. Or so Yuna hopes.
Fate T. Harlaown "And we can visit medical once we're back home as well, Zephyr." Either Union medical, or Shamal. Fate trusts them both!

And now Yuna knows what it's like to be around Fate. No head goes unpatted! There is no escape from motherly affection.

The blonde seems to be considering for a moment. "I'm glad you think of me that way. And I can understand that. But..." She holds the disc loosely in her hand. "If I let you walk away with this, I'd like your word that you won't mis-use it. And... if any Lost Logia you come across, including this one, proves too dangerous to seal, or even seems dangerous after being sealed, I want you to contact me immediately."
Mitsu Mirage     Mitsu gives a slight nod, "You have my word." as much as she can really say here... "And yes, if there's anything I can't seal or proves too dangerous, I'll give you a contact. I assume I can contact the TSAB base again at this point? she smirks, "Just next time, when the Rabbit wants to get something, just let her. She knows how to do it just as well." with this, she grins slighty, hand open to recive the logia.
Fate T. Harlaown Bardiche chimes as he transmits some data to Kratzenfaust. "You can contact me directly, if you'd prefer. I've had Bardiche send you my contact information." The blonde smiles softly. "I know there are some elements in the Bureau you'd rather not have to deal with directly."

Rather than immediately offering the Lost Logia, Fate instead reaches to pat Mitsu's head again. "You seem like you're someone I can trust not to abuse this power. I'm sure you won't betray that trust." And, with a warm smile, Fate lays on perhaps her strongest deterrent against misbehaving: mother's guilt. One more pat on the head for the Rabbit, and Fate presses the sealed Logia carefully into Mitsu's hand. "Remember.."
Mitsu Mirage     Kratzenfaust chimes back after reciving the data. "I see. Thanks for offering me that respite." she nods, and when she's patted, she makes that adorable noise again. "I do try to make sure I don't... abuse things." she nods, clutching onto the sealed Logia into her hands. She gets a smile at this, nodding some only to make that cute noise once more once she's patted again. "I'll remember alright." she nods, "I'll remember to not abuse it. It'll go for the good of helping get more Logia." She does pause a bit... looking at the rest...

"Eheh... my boat probably left... could I get a lift? I can't fly. You can drop me off at the nearest warpgate."
Yuna Kagurazaka Yuna speaks up, "I'd be happy to run you over to a warpgate, Inaba! I guess rabbits can't jump on water too well, huh?" she teases gently. "If you don't mind me carrying you, anyway ..."
