Owner	Pose
Princess Peach	It's a quiet day in the Mushroom Kingdom, with a partly cloudy sky, and as things begin to pick up in Toad Town as the citizens head off to enjoy the rest of the weekend. Some fly kites, some throw picnics others just relax and enjoy a day in which they don't have any pressing duties. Nearby, behind the castle, Princess Peach is by a moderate size lake, sitting back in one of those reclining lawn chairs, beside a table with a large pink umbrella for shade. She gazes idly out at the still water, letting her mind wander as she sips at a cup of honymint tea. Toad is sitting beside her, looking happy that things are so quiet. Peach is dressed somewhat casually, in a light pink spring dress decorated with a subtle floral pattern, and while she still dons her crown, the rest of her usual jewlery is absent. She is barefoot at the moment but there are a pair of flip flops by her chair.
Alexis Maaka	Maaka's been waiting for a day like this, and a chance to sip Honeymint tea with a princess is as good an excuse as any to chill by the lakeside. She spent a good hour scrubbing antiseptic off of herself after decontamination to get rid of the smell, and now here she is clutching a pool bag and a folded up beach chair over her shoulders. It wasn't hard for her to get directions from the townsfolk to get to the castle, and security's oddly pretty lax today for royal detail. here should at least be a small patrol shadowing Peach by the time Maaka gets there, but there's not a single guard to be seen beyond the toads at the gates. "Gave your boys the day off, your highness?" she asks, setting out the chair before flopping atop of it, producing a book.
Alden	The digimon would use a break from... the darker areas of the multiverse, especially after the encounter he had a couple days ago... and he was curious about this Mushroom kingdom.. he had been in this universe before, but he was kind of caught with rescuing a person that claimed to be a princess from some weird walking plants. This time seemed more calm!. He admires the quiet town, and casually approaches teh palace, rather curious about it!. He gets distracted by the guards, who talk with the little digimon a bit, before sending a runner to ask if visits were ok.
Princess Peach	After a few moments Alden would be directed around to the rear of the castle and toward the lake. In the meantime Peach turns to greet Alexis and chuckles a bit at her question, smiling as she answers. "Well, some of them. The rest should be out patrolling. If they're not, they're getting dungeon duty, which is extremely boring cause no one is down there." She says with a grin. "In any case, who do I have the pleasure of sharing this lovely day with? Would you like some tea?" She asks before going ahead and pouring another cup and refilling her own cup, and sitting up to face Alexis.
Alexis Maaka	"Alexis Maaka, I think we met before working with Steve at the Flat Earth." The redhead introduces herself with a bow of her head. "Plus, we spoke on the radio a little bit ago." She says, peeling out of her dress to reveal a two-piece underneath. If she's gonna be at the lake, she'll dress accordingly, sunglasses and flip-flops included. Taking the tea, she raises her cup to Peach with a cheerful grin before sipping it. "Lovely, I haven't had a brew that wasn't just lukewarm coffee in a good while now."
Alden	Alden is as polite as he can with the guards, and once allowed to go further, he walks along, admiring the castle grounds, and tilting his head as he sees the pair drinking tea, and Toad, offering a friendly wave, before realizing that the princess was there, and offering a clumsy bow, "Hello." he says softly.
Princess Peach	"Oh right, you were recovering from decontamination. That battle must have been awful. If anyone deserves a day to relax, it's you." She says as she sips at her tea. Noting the swimsuit though, she continues. "Hmm, the water might still be a bit on the cool side, but a swim might be nice." As Alden comes up she notices him just before his bow and smiles. "Wow, another visitor? Is it the weather or did you both just want to come and keep me company?"
Alexis Maaka	"Yeah, you don't even know the half of it." Alexis nods, sighing as she takes another sip. "I'll take it over having to sit in decon again." She'll probably have a dip later, but hopefully the lake's not entirely a muck-ridden marsh. Doesn't seem like it, but you never know. Alden gets a nod from the cyborg, before she goes back to her tea and book. "is it often this nice out by chance?"
Alden	Alden tilts his head at the mention of decontamination, looking at Alexis curiously for a few moments, before resuming, "To be honest, was just exploring and saw this place... and figured I might just take a look at this nice place." he says with a chuckle, rubbing the back of his head, "I'll be glad to keep you company of course." he says, before adding, "Ah, right, I am Alden." the small gabumon saysr.
Princess Peach	"I can only imagine, and even that makes me shudder and feel like things are crawling on me... So let's not think about that. As for the weather, it is nice here more often than not. We do of course get storms that roll through from time to time, and a bit of snow in the winter most years, but there's no place I'd rather be. What are you reading by the way?" She asks, giving Alexis a moment to answer before turning back to Alden. "Just wandered in huh? Well I'm Peach, and I welcome you all to the Mushroom Kingdom. I hope you enjoy your stay, please let me know if you need anything."
Alexis Maaka	Maaka raises up her book to reveal a work by Milton. High brow for her, but looks can be deceiving. "I'm a sucker for the classics." She says with a little grin, before nodding. "I think I've got things covered, but thanks anyways." She adds, nodding to Alden. "Alexis. I think we've met before time to time on missions, right Alden?" She regards the gabumon for a moment. Sitting back, she begins to gently read while music plays in her head. Literally, she has an MP3 setup in her head's neural implants.
Princess Peach	"Oh, I see. I'm always on the lookout for good books to check out or even add to my library. The Multiverse seems to have an endless supply of literature." Peach says in response to Maaka before turning to Alden. "Oh it's no trouble at all. I always enjoy having guests from across the Multiverse. It's fun to meet different people and one can never have too many friends. Would you like tea? Anything to eat? The castle kitchen is open to anything you may desire." The offer of course extending to Maaka, but Peach was happy to give her a chance to read her book without distraction.
Alden	Alden smiles to Alexis, "Maybe!, you do look familiar" he sayss, moving closer to the princess adn offering a broad grin, "Thank you for the offer." he says, "It's a pleasure to meet you Princess." he says softly. He sits down besides the pair, admiring the water for a few moments. After a minute, Alden adds, "Hmm, perhaps something sweet?" he asks softly, after a moment, "Been a while since I had anything like that, normally I eat just meat." he says softly.
Princess Peach	Peach sips at her tea some more as Alden and Maaka finish their introductions with speculation about whether they have met each other. She ends up smiling a bit as she adds to the conversation. "There really are a lot of people throughout the Multiverse. Sometimes it is hard to keep track of everyone, particularly if you've only met briefly. As for sweets though, how about some cake? Do you like strawberries? I think we just got some fresh ones and I think it would be great to work them into a cake. How does that sound?"
Alden	The digimon turns his attention towards Peach, smiling broadly and nodding, "I'd love some cake." he says, licking his lips once, and realizing he did that in front of a princess!. "Yeah, it's a bit hard to remember all the faces sometimes..." he says, chuckling, "I... admit I am not used to humans, and you all sorta look similar at times."
Princess Peach	Peach grins a bit at Alden's response and licking his lips. "Alright, one cake, coming right up!" She says before turning to Toad. "Could you please relay that order to the kitchen dear?" Toad nods and quickly stands. "Yes Princess, right away!" And he scurries off toward the castle. Peach turns back to Alden as she adjusts her position in her chair a bit and takes another sip of tea. "Anything else you'd like to do around here? We were just talking about possibly swimming later, I'd just have to go change real quick but it might be nice as it'd be my first dip in the lake this year."
Alden	Alden smiles to Toad, "Thank you." he tells him, before the toad person runs away, and he focuses back on the Peach, his lizard tail twitching slowly behind him. "I admit swimming sounds nice, but I can't quite swim in this form... might need to change shapes." he says softly, "Otherwise, I admit I am not very familiar with this area, so not sure what else you can do around here." he says softly. He rubs his chin, "Do you like... dogs, princess?" he asks softly, smiling.
Princess Peach	Toad smiles and waves back to Alden before he runs off. Peach seems to think for a moment. "Well, there is lots to do around here actually. In addition to the lake here which I use both for swimming and ice skating, depending in the season, the sprawling castle grounds have everything from tennis soccer and baseball, to a full golf course and go kart track. As for dogs, they're nice I suppose, why do you ask?"
Alden	Alden grins, "All of that sounds great!" he says, surprised at the list of activities, "Maybe sometime I should try to learn how to use a kart." he says happily, before adding, "Oh... well, just trying to learn a bit, I don't want to make you uncomfortable if you happen to dislike canines or such... the form I might take for swimming looks like one."
Princess Peach	"When Bowser isn't invading, we often use these various activities to have some fun and see others from the Mushroom Kingdom and beyond that we might otherwise not get to see very often. In fact, because such a variety of participants have taken part in the kart racing, I'm sure we could modify a kart so that it would be easier for you to control and I could give you some pointers. As for changing into dog-like forms, well now I'm a bit curious to see." Peach states with a grin.
Alden	He listens curiously at that, "Bowser... I would have sworn I heard that name before." he says softly, thinking for a moment, "Oh, I had a question, did you know a Princess... Sarracenia or something like that?" he asks softly, "I once rescued her from a tower full of plants with spears and stuff." he asks curiously, before grinning wide, "I can show you, if you'd like, and maybe we can see about the karting sometime."
Princess Peach	Peach pauses to think for a moment. "Hmm, Sarracenia? Yes, I do remember her. We met only a few times, though as I recall she is the princess of another kingdom on this world, though we aren't exactly next door neighbors or anything. I don't think she liked me very much. You say you saved her from... those were probably piranha plants. Nasty things, and worse, some of them can spit fire. That is one piece of advise I can give you about this land. It may look happy and peaceful, and some parts are, but wander too far and you will find things getting very dangerous. Anyway, sure, I'd be happy to see your change, but if we're going to go swimming, let me change too." Just then Toad returns, and shortly after him, a few more toads with green, yellow, and blue spots respectively exit the nearest door to the castle, carrying a cake. When they bring it over, it is revealed to be an angelfood cake with strawberry flavored whipped cream as frosting, and topped with lots of sliced strawberries.
Alden	Alden nods, "They were walking... and there was a huge one!, really fat too... that oen was annoying." he says, "They kept trying to chase me, hit me with spears and burn me." he says, even as he thinks back. "I will try to keep in mind that warning, princess." he says happily. After hearing that he nods, "Sure, we can have the snack, you can change, and I can show you what I can do afterwards." he says. The sight of the delightful treat makes him lick his lips again, "It looks amazing." he says, "Thank you, Toad." he says, "And thank you, princess.". He grabs a slice and eats it quickly.
Princess Peach	Peach nods to Alden's recount of the encounter. "Sounds like you had quite the day. I've run into a few of the nasties myself, and have heard plenty more stories from Mario and Luigi as they've seen plenty in all the times they've fought to rescue me from Bowser." She says almost nonchalantly before turning her attention to the cake. It did indeed look delicious. After the cake is set down on the table, Toad cuts a slice for Peach, offering it to her before cutting himself one too. "Thank you Toad." Peach says with a smile before taking a bite of the cake. Once she's finished with her cake she stands and wipes her mouth with a napkin. "Alright, I'll be right back." Peach then quickly heads back into the castle and soon returns wearing a pink one piece swimsuit decorated with little golden stars, and also starman, mushroom, and fire flower designs, also in golden in color. She's carrying a soft pink towel and after she sits down Toad begins to apply sunscreen to her exposed skin.
Alden	Alden makes quick work of the cake slice... and another one!, he does not eat all of the cake obviously but... he eats a fair bit, smiling to Toad adn the others, "That was delicious." he says happily, using a napkin to clean his muzzle. He has no issue waiting for Peach to return, lizard tail wagging behind him. He blushes a bit at the rather cute swimsuit, "You look pretty, Princess." he says, before he gets up and moves a few feet. "Ok, let me show you." he says gently. He reaches for the device on his 'belt', and a card, sliding it. He does not scream the name of the card this time, simply placing it back on the box, before he begins to glow brightly!. It lasts a moment, before he 'explodes' into voxels, revealing a rather large, four legged wolf beast, long, ropey tail, light blue fur, a large head and muzzle. Any initial impression of being 'fierce' is dispelled as he takes a rather happy expression, tongue hanging from his muzzle like a derpy canine.
Princess Peach	Peach grins a bit as she notices that a good portion of the cake was gone when she came back and grinned a bit. Guess there won't be much for leftovers. That grin is quickly replaced as she blushes some at Alden's complement. "Thank you, this is a new one, decided to try it out." She explains as she lays her towel out on her lawn chair. She then turns to watch Alden as he changes, blinking a bit in surprise. "That's really pretty amazing. You're pretty big now too. What does it feel like when you change forms like that?"
Alden	The big wolfish beast stands there for a few moments, letting Peach react, before sitting down adn itching it's left ear. Finally, it gets up and pads closer, the long tail swishing, "It feels... nice I guess, can't really explain... it's like stretching." he says happily, and proceeds to streetch a bit, before he sits down again. "I mean... It's like being able to stretch after being cramped down for a while."
Princess Peach	"Interesting. I bet you're a lot stronger after that too. Anyway, shall we stretch some more in the lake?" Peach asks as she stands and stretches a bit herself before heading over toward the lake and wading into the cool water. Once she's in deep enough water she pushes off and begins to slowly, casually swim around the lake a bit in a leisurely backstroke. "Not bad... pretty nice in fact."
Alden	Alden grins at that and nods, "Well, I think I am stronger at least!" he says, wagging faster and somehow pulling the device from his neck, to place it on the ground near Peach's towel. "Sure." he says, watching her swim with a grin, before he takes a running start and simply jumps into the calm water, doggie paddling around.
