Yuna Kagurazaka No matter where you are in the Multiverse, a hospital generally seems like a hospital. Carefully sterile, varying amounts of institutional, arranged for what the architects and staff consider most beneficial to delivering medical care in an efficient manner to those who require it.

Yuna Kagurazaka has been fairly lucky in her stay; while her injuries from the last mission of Operation Rei-Go weren't anywhere near life-threatening, she did need more attention than outpatient care would have provided. Technically, the only real reason for her to stay in the hospital is to make sure she doesn't do anything to mess up her foot while it's still healing. She's still debating whether she should request a wheelchair or something.

In the meantime, though, she's got a bunch of homework to work on from Beacon Academy, and while she's not really supposed to practice any of the songs she's learning, she can hum quietly - or just listen to the songs on a pair of earphones or something, and review the lyrics.

Right now, though, she's just sitting in her bed, her attention alternating at intervals between the window and a datapad.
Nagato     And no matter where you are in the Multiverse, when a friend is injured, one should be there to see how he or she is doing, more so when it's a very close friend and fleet member. Some quick calls get Nagato's attention and with some rapid travel, and an outfit change, the fleet Admiral heads over to Shiraokadai.

It's strange, to be in a human hospital. She's only been in one before due to Momoyo... and it was for one of Momoyo's friends, however, this is more important. Yuna was someone close to Nagato, one of the first to be part of an experimental project, one who took to it like she was born that way... and one who showed immense care for those in the fleet.

That, and Nagato had Shiraokadai as a vacation spot next in her list /anyways./

Getting the permission from the nurses to head up, Nagato makes her way up the elevator to Yuna's room, showing up in a black buisness suit instead of her normal outfitt. "Yuna, it's Nagato, may I enter?" she questions, giving a few taps on the door.
Yuna Kagurazaka "Hm?" Yuna blinks, drawn back out of her momentary reverie by the light knock at the door. "Nagato? Sure - please, come in!" She makes a quick effort to tidy up the bed table, rearranging the books and such on its surface so it at least *looks* orderly and somewhat organized. She also fiddles with the bed controls briefly, elevating the head some more so she's closer to 'sitting up' than lying down.

She also looks fairly well-rested ... which is probably to be expected, given her circumstances.
Nagato     Nagato makes her way in slowly, the Admiral looking professional as all get out. Even on Vacation... she's still the Admiral. She does hold a small box in her hand, standing about a foot from the bed once it's lifted. "Yuna. Thank you for your help, I'm sorry my actions and requests put you into the hospital." she bows deeply, offering the box of chocolates as an apology. "I'll cover any of your expenses here with the fleet's funds." she offers.

Nagato doesn't lift herself up until Yuna allows it, waiting for those words. "You've been there so much for the fleet and I asked you to do this and you get injured... not even thinking about your idol carrer. I do hope I did not ruin it for you. I could not allow myself to be forgiven for it."
Yuna Kagurazaka "You didn't know who the Abyssals would get help from, Nagato," Yuna says reassuringly. "I could have been up against anyone, please don't blame yourself so much." She reaches out to accept the box of candy. "And please, lift your head again. I'm glad I was able to help see Rei-Go through to a successful end; I got off lucky ..."

She trails off abruptly, remembering some of the others who WEREN'T as lucky. "Pull a chair over?" Yuna asks, trying to muster another smile - and for once, coming up just a little short. "Anyway, the doctor said I'll be fine, it's just going to take some more time before I can use this foot. I think he's erring on the side of caution, but I don't blame him."
Nagato     "I could have known." she whsipered "The patterns... the expectation..." she frowns a bit, "You're part of the fleet, Yuna. You're my responsibility when it comes to sorties... It's... it's my job to blame myself for things like this. For all of that." she lets the box go and she lifts her head, Nagato's face showing at least some semblence of being pulled together. She gives a brief nod and a chair is pulled over, moving to sit herself in it, hands crossed over her lap.

"I'm.. I'm glad it's not going to be any permanent damage." she comments, "How are you holding up, hopefully it's not delaying anything major for you."
Yuna Kagurazaka Yuna grimaces slightly, "Not delaying anything we'd announced a solid date for, although I can't practice dance routines at this point. Other than that, I'm doing okay - it's a chance to catch up on assignments I'd been putting off," she taps a couple of books from Beacon Academy. "Oh, and my manager mentioned something else we might be gearing up for ..."

She pauses, closing her eyes for a moment. "Although, I'm not sure if I'm allowed to talk too much about that yet ..." She makes a face. "Anyway. How's the rest of the Hikari fleet doing? And how's your vacation? I heard there's some rumors about you and Commodore Thompson ..." She grins impishly, "Not that I really believe the rumors, mind you~"
Nagato     Nagato gives a brief nod. "It's always good to catch up on things missed, though it's sad that you won't be able to practice, maybe there is something I can assist with." she gives a look towards the books that are tapped, tilting her head at that, "Maybe I should see about Beacon Academy myself." she hmms, looking at the books a bit, though when she mentions something about her manager...

"What is he planning? On my word, it won't leave this room." she nods, but when the rumors come up.. "I was just on vacation, nothing happened. Though, I have to admit, being in a hotel is different than being in the barracks." she thinks a moment, "Though, Commodore Thompson did lay on a few things quite thickly for the tabloids there... it's strange." a pause, "And I think I might have seen Destroyer Division Six there..."
Yuna Kagurazaka "Her world, her mass media," Yuna muses. "Maybe she was trying to throw them off the 'correct' trail by making it look like something else ..." She shrugs gamely. "Anyway ..."

She pauses, chewing her lower lip for the briefest of moments. "Heck with it, there's already some rumors - you remember Star Ship Shoujo, that manga I donated to the Hikari base library for Christmas?"
Nagato     "You're right." Nagato chuckles, "Perhaps she might have something under her sleeve I'm not catching either..." she gives a brief shrug, only to look at Yuna with a smile. Though, when the mention of Star Ship Shoujo... Nagato gives a brief nod. "Yea. I've not been able to check out the last volume... someone else seems to have it and Ooyodo isn't telling me who."

Nagato pauses... "Something tells me this will involve the Fleet."
Yuna Kagurazaka "I wasn't going to go that far," Yuna smiles - no 'tries' about it this time, just a straight-up look of happiness. "Or maybe it will, but - the manga's still selling really well in reprints, and the authors have announced that they're working on a follow-up series. And," she adds, raising a finger as if to emphasize the addition, "the ongoing interest has Kadokawa - the publisher - planning an animated adaptation. That's still in the early stages, they haven't made decisions about who's playing which roles or anything - and that's why I wasn't sure if I'm allowed to say anything."

The blonde gets a sheepish look on her face. "I mean, if somebody overheard me talking about an anime that's being planned, the obvious jump for the rumor mill is that I'm going to have a starring role or something, and I don't even know for sure if I'll be involved yet."
Nagato     "Mmhmm." Nagato returns that smile with one of her own, "Perhaps I should grab the series for my own personal library. And end up losing it to my sister and Atago." she gives a brief shrug and a shake of her head. She does pause a moemnt, "Animated adaptation?" she ponders, "I see, well..." she takes a breath, "Let me know when they are wanting to do any of the roles, Perhaps I might show up to see how it goes, I've been curious."

She nods slightly, "You /are/ a popular idol, so I would not doubt those rumors being true. Perhaps you should spring for it?"
Yuna Kagurazaka Yuna rubs the back of her head, an embarassed smile on her face. "Well, if nothing else I'll probably record another image song to go on one of the anime soundtracks or song collections or something. I'm not holding out for too much, but we'll see what happens, I guess. - I'll be glad to keep you updated on what I hear, though, at least that I'm allowed to pass along."

She pauses. "Nagato ... would you actually want to have a voice role in the anime? Or do you think any of the other girls would? Voice acting isn't quite as easy as it seems like - it's actually harder in some ways."
Nagato     Nagato gives a brief nod, "I'll be glad to hear it and add it to my collection of music." she comments, looking around some. "And thanks, perhaps it can be worthwile to see what goes on in something like that." she smiles slightliy and gives a pat to Yuna's shoulder.

Then... the question. Nagato looks away from Yuna, a sheepish looking face upon her head. "Yuna, I promised you I'd take a vacation once Rei Go was finished. And I've been curious about a lot of things in my time in the Multiverse." she turns back to look to Yuna, "It's why I play ALO... and enjoy it. And perhaps, trying this hand at a role in the ... anime... will help sate some curiosity in that event, even if I do not get it, knowing I tried is good enough for me."
Yuna Kagurazaka "Hopefully I'll get a chance to show you around some parts of this world - and its neighbors - that I love," Yuna says. "As for the anime - I'm sure they'll do auditions, if mainly to match up available voice actresses with the different roles. I'll see what I can find out about extending some of the auditions for the Hikari girls, including you, to see if the production staff think you'd be a match."

Another awkward pause sets in; this time, Yuna grimaces as if bracing herself, and asks the question that's circled back across her mind ...

"Any leads on Kuma or the other girls we lost during Rei-Go ... ?"
Nagato     "I'll be renting a hotel here for a few days then so you will have that chance, Yuna." Nagato comments, "And I'll be glad to join in on this and if you want to give me a tour of the place, just keep in mind, I can't fly outside of ALO." she gives a bit of a chuckle to ease things around, but when that grimace is seen, Nagato knows what's coming next.

"I have no info yet. Ooyodo's been on constant alert, I've had expeditions looking for them. I'm doing my best with what I have available to find them.. and we'll bring them home, Yuna, I promise."
Yuna Kagurazaka Yuna nods. "Once I've got some time available to come back and help with the search, I'll let you know. Maybe they'll turn up before then, but either way .."

This does loop back to what Nagato said earlier, when she was apologizing, doesn't it?

"Nagato, I've been glad to help you all out as a special light cruiser," Yuna continues, smiling. "Once I got used to sailing the way you all do, I got to really liking it, and more than that, I know I'm helping take back the oceans of your world so regular people can travel safely by water. Even with my Light Suit, though, the danger has never *not* been there; no matter how good someone's armor is, there'll always be something that can get through it. My life has been on the line from the first time I met Elner and had to go into battle with little explanation."

Yuna takes a deep breath, looking at Nagato. "Even without being Special Light Cruiser Kagurazaka, I'm sure I would have been out there helping you. You didn't drag me into harm's way by giving me a chance to fight the way you do; what you *did* was give me a closer understanding of what it's like to be one of the Fleet Daughters ... and that's been a greater chance to forge my friendships with you, and with your sisters-in-arms. I wouldn't give that up for anything."
