Alice Margatroid     It's afternoon in Tomoeda's Shopping District, people are running around doing their day to day things, some are even out eating with their loved ones, best friends or even just by themselves. However, in a little pocket corner sits a building no bigger than a small fast food parlor, it's bright, colorful and the sign looks to be very devilish what with those two devil wings upon the sign stating "Devil Wing Bakery"!

There are many people waiting behind a red ribboned barricade preventing those from getting past and inside the building sit a few devil winged women in maid outfits along with two other maid outfit wearing women that don't. One done up in a sky blue and one done up in a red.

The red one steps out of the building, a bright smile upon her face. Yumeko grins a bit and looks at those present. "Good afternoon, with this we are glad to be here to provide for your sweet tooth! Please, enjoy all the snacks my girls have to offer. The Devil Wing Bakery is officially open!" and with a magically summoned SWORD, the ribbon's cut and Yumeko stands aside, doors open!
Sakuya     One instant, there's nothing.

In the next instant, a silver-haired woman in a black pinstripe dress stands beind the blue-clad maid.

Almost casually, she tucks a silver knife away inside her sleeve, eyes closed. With no impending violence, it would seem her supposition is (thankfully) wrong and demons are not, in fact, invading this delightful Japanese town. Only once her weapon is out of sight, and therefore out of mind, does the mysterious woman announce herself.

"I don't think that look suits you, Margatroid," Izayoi Sakuya states evenly, "Your usual blue dress and bonnet are a better look for you."
Reimu Hakurei
As expected, Reimu is currently waiting in the back of the crowd. After all, there's no point in waiting in the crowd who will most likely push others around. For once, she doesn't have her gohei with her at the moment, although that doesn't make this any less awkward. The cafe owners were once people that she actually shot at and they haven't exactly talked ever since then. So, hopefully things turn out well.
As the crowd rushes inside, she walks through the doors as well. As she walks in, she searches around the place for a moment. It's a good thing that Alice mentioned that this was a restaurant opening or otherwise this probably might have been problematic. As she walks inside, she can easily notice Sakuya apparently wearing something other than her maid outfit along with Alice standing right next to her. The miko nonchalantly walks over to the two of them,
"Hello, Sakuya. Hello, Alice." She greets casually, "Have either of you noticed Marisa around here by any chance?"
Evangeline      Just as Yumeko starts to speak, an unusual girl who floats through the air effortlessly approaches the gathering. She is holding a small flyer for the grand opening in her slender hands, her fingers the only things sticking out of her sleeves. She also seems to lack any facial features. As the ribbon is cut, she floats slowly into the bakery. She pauses when Sakuya appears, and goes on guard herself as she sees the flash of the silver knife. But, as Alice and Sakuya seem friendly, the unusual girl floats her way into the bakery and looks for an open seat.

Even without features or much body language, the floating girl that is all metallic black looks a bit uncomfortable and unsure. Holding the flyer in both hands in a child-like way, almost as if it will protect her in some way. Finally, she floats over to an open table (if there are any left) and she takes a seat before waiting for a server.
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa had not been able to get out much it had been one job, or crisis after anotehr for the young cyborg and toiday she needed to take the day off, she was dessec pretty casually and seemed mostly in good spirit as she was checking out the market and the Devil Wing Bakery was not there the last time she was here and thus that got her intrest. She pauses as she arrive she knows Alaice and grins waving to the doll maker.

"Hey! Alice! Tomoyo Good to see you! Marissa? Can't say I een her lately."
Tomoyo Daidouji     Tomoyo hasn't been in the best mood of late. The debacle at the auction weighs heavily on her shoulders, as does the insurance money burning a hole in her pocket. She really just doesn't know what to do.

One of the best cures for the blues is cake and friends. And now, a new store in Tomoeda can provide both at once!

Thus, Tomoyo is in the crowd, accompanied by an older woman with brown hair, clad in a crimson business suit. They're actually holding hands as they look around the crowd. "It looks like there's a lot of off-worlders coming. Anyone you recognize Tomoyo?" The young tailor peers around, spotting the likes of Reimu, Sakuya, Evangaline, and Kotone... but no-one she really recognize immediately. "No Mother."

When the ribbon is cut, they join the crowd as they go inside, the older woman making a beeline for the display! "You've been to Gensokyo Tomoyo. Any local delicacies I should know about?" But Tomoyo is distracted by a certain blonde in a maid outfit! "... Alice?"
Yuna Kagurazaka There is very little that can stop Yuna from going out to support her friends. Apparently, not even having a hole in her foot and some other injuries which are still healing will be enough ....

Because despite her right foot still being wrapped in bandages, despite the doctor's warning that she really SHOULDN'T put any weight on that foot, and despite a few other cuts and bruises which are still mending (underneath their own bandages in the former case), Yuna's made her way out to Tomoeda, even though she's in a wheelchair this trip. Elner is tagging along next to her as seems to be usual; the girl who's pushing Yuna's chair has dark purple hair gathered into fairly stiff-looking twintails, and topping off her rather sporty outfit with a jacket with three straps for fasteners, arranged akin to a capital 'E'.

"Hey Tomoyo!" she waves to the seamstress. "Sorry I haven't been by to visit lately, I hope things are going all right? - Reimu, Evangeline, how's it going?" Yuna may not have met this iteration of the Hakurei miko, but she still recognizes her, and as such, greets Reimu without really thinking about it.
Konoe Kanno      Among the crowd of people come to witness the opening of this new bakery run by offworlders, is one particular girl, wearing quintessential set of modern day clothing consisting of blue jeans, sandals, a cream colored blouse, a light jacket, a somewhat big hat that seemed to cover a lot of her white and red tipped hair, and a pair of sunglasses to top it off.

She did /not/ have a tail either. But surely this is who you thought it was. She adjusts her sunglasses, recognizing several people(by smell no less), but she doesn't call out to anyone or try to be terribly social. She's just....here. ...Present. ....Silently, secretly supporting a frie-...rival.

She didn't even like sweets anyway.

What's that? 'Konoe, just reveal yourself and be happy with your friends!'? Shut up, it's not that simple!
Marisa Kirisame     A few months ago, the good people of Makai made a particular burglar-witch very unhappy indeed. In response, she viciously abducted every single hair-dec she could find in that hellish place. But what was it that they did to anger her so? What drove this witch to such terrible ends!?

Apparently, 'tourism offices.' Or rather, opening those offices without telling anyone. Again.

Marisa Kirisame's heart is full of warmth and compassion, but boy does she know how to hold grudges.

None of that matters here today, though! Marisa has come to eat DELICIOUS PASTRIES. She's heard that the devil's food cake is particularly good. Marisa saunters in through the doors almost like she owns the place! She's... Dressed about as one might expect her to dress. She might be a little more well dressed though; did she polish her boots? Wear the *good* witch-dress? Maybe. Just maybe.

Will she return any hair-decs?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

no
Reimu Hakurei      She sighs for a moment before grumbling under her breath, "It figures that one of the few times I'm trying to find her, she doesn't seem to be around." Her slight frown forms into a small, pleasant smile. For once, she isn't being shot at so at least things are going more smoothly than normal. She glances back to the rather unfamiliar arrivals. Even though, the miko doesn't know them, she should still try to be friendly.

"I honestly wasn't expecting anyone outside Gensokyo knowing me today. This is really kind of a first for me." She grins nervously for a moment and continues with a slight hint of urgency as she speaks, "I'm actually here mostly to see how Marisa is doing and inform her about Sanary's current situation. It might help if I know a few more things about her since she hasn't exactly been okay lately."

She glances to the late arrival, before setting her attention back to the rest of the group. "I've also gotten back from a job that I wasn't really paid for." She chuckles for a second and continues brightly, "They didn't do the research and they hired me to help an army of evil spirits, even though that's normally wha-." As Marisa makes her through the doors, Reimu hastily rushes toward the witch, her eyebrows furrowed down and an obvious frown on her face.

"Marisa, I need you to see Sanary. She really needs to be kept away from that undead creature, because she seemed to have a bit of a fit after I noticed her on my last job."
Alice Margatroid     Already, after the ribbon cut, does the store get busy. A spattering of Koa-maids work with each customer to make sure everyone is happy, well fed and ready to face the next day with vim and vigor. Or a sweets induced headache and diabeties, but what's the difference. Overhead, there's some Koakuma flying to make things easier for the customers to get around while Yumeko heads over to the corner, watching. "Well, Alice you had a good idea, I'm impressed." comes the red-dressed maid. "Alice, what ... Alice?" she facefaults a bit, ".. Bother."

During the whole rush, Alice is caught up in a few orders of her own. "Right away, Master~" she comments with a smile, her two dolls bowing in mid air before they make their way towards the back. Alice, herself, would have gone to the back but suddenly, there were people who recognized her... near immediately. She hands the order slip to one of the overhead koakuma, turning towards Sakuya. "Izayoi." she says a bit flatly, "I'm just helping out the bakery for a day, I'll be back in my normal outfit soon enough." a pause, "Though why doesn't this suit me?" she twirls slightly, "I think it looks nice." And now there's a Miko. "Reimu, glad you could come. I hope you enjoy some of the sweets. Mom even baked a cake to sell here! So what brings you two here?" she questions the Maid and the Miko.

Meanwhile, one of the Koakuma drop in front of Evangeline, a grin on her face, "Hello, welcome to the Devil Wing Bakery, what can I get you today, Master?" she questions with a cheerful voice towards the Neuroi, "I recommend the Power Chip Chocolate today."

Back at the small little gathering, Alice bows slightly when Kotone makes herself known. "Good day, Kotone, good to see you here. What brought you by?" she questioned a bit, her head poking around a bit. When she sees Yuna in the wheelchair, however, she frowns. "Oh dear, what happened? Hopefully you'll be okay." a quick wave, "Go get a slice of MOther's cake for her." and with a nod from the Koakuma, she's off and about.

One koakuma notices Konoe and dives down, "Let's find you a seat, Master, what can we get you?" she smiles, offering a seat closer to the gaggle of girls around Alice. "We have some good chocolate and a Devil's Food cake made by an actual demoness~. It's divine!"

Marisa gets a few odd looks from most of the Koakuma there. In fact, everyone of the Koakuma gets this beady eye look at Marisa... "Hello, Witch." comes one, "Have a seat where you llike, we'll be glad to serve you..."
Sakuya     "Countenance," Sakuya states simply, "Call it a maid's intuition." Her arms fold loosely, eyes travelling the demon-filled establishment, moving from guest to guest, "It seems that advertising this as a bakery run by devils has called out more than myself from the 'incident resolution' profession." A simple nod, "Hakurei. Kirisame." There's a slight turn of her head, then, "All that is missing is Kochiya and, if one were generous, Konpaku."

Sakuya raises a finger, then, "Kirisame, you don't seem to have many friends here. You may want to read the atmosphere before you get too out of control." In reference to the various devils giving her the evil eye.
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa is just enjoying hr self she does see Tomoyo is with someone she's not seen before but she does se they might be busy and somewher she suspect that Konoe is out there somewhere. Then Alice returns the favour and she answers.

"I am just trying to take a day off, things have kept me busy for the last week or so and I needed to get away from things either with the Flotilla and back home. Also when I caught site of a bake shop how could I not take a look?"

Then comes the offer of Cake and she sees Yuna whose not looking very good.

"Yuna?! What hapepned?!"
Evangeline      Evangeline looks over as she hears Yuna greet her. She raises a hand to wave to Yuna before she looks at the Koakuma. "...okay...a Power Chip Chocolate Today sounds alright..." she says. After placing her order, she floats out of her chair. "...would you please have it delivered to me over there...?" she asks, pointing toward the group before she floats over to take up a spot by Yuna. As she hears Sakuya, the little Neuroi tilts her head. "...are devils bad..?" she asks softly, her voice coming from the strange watch around her wrist rather than her face. She is quiet after that, just floating silently a few inches above the ground.

Kotone's exclamation draws the Neuroi Girl's attention back to Yuna, then she looks down. "...you are injured..." she says to Yuna.
Marisa Kirisame     Suddenly, there is a Reimu! Right up in her grill. What're you doing up in there, Reimu? Apparently, asking about... Sanary? "Uh, what're you talkin' about?" Marisa blinks as the Koakumas give her the stink eye. "What's up with Sanary? I haven't seen her in a little while."

It's probably fine! Probably. "Ah well, just tell me what's going on over some cake or something," Marisa grins, sinking into one of the booths. "Come on, we'll order somethin' good!"

She cranes her neck over towards Sakuya, blinks, then looks over towards the Koakuma. "Aw, don't you worry," Marisa grins, "This is their chance for a fresh start! It'll be fine, it'll be fine. I'm sure they put a lot of work into makin' sure today goes smoothly."

Riiiight?

But she also catches sight of SOMEONE ELSE! Specifically, Alice, twirling gaily in a distinctively maid-enly dress. Marisa's grin widens. Can she resist?

Are you kidding?

There's a shrill, sharp whistle. A... distinctly wolfish whistle. "Aliiiice," Marisa calls, waving her over! "You're lookin' good! Really dressed up for the big opening, huh?"
Yuna Kagurazaka Yuna smiles sheepishly at Alice, Kotone, and Evangeline (in turn or all together), "I'm still healing up - I was hoping I'd be fully back on my feet for your grand opening, but apparently my body didn't read the memo. Still, I couldn't totally skip this, could I?"

She pauses, glancing around at the looks being directed Marisa's way. "Um. You know we're not going to be able to dodge magi-bullets while we're eating our cake, right? And some of us are going to be at a disadvantage anyway ..." Then again, this *is* why she has Erina pushing her wheelchair. Just in case. Elner's going to try and exhaust every option for Yuna's safety that *doesn't* involve Yuna transforming into her Light Suit, though, and Yuna would be just as happy not to get caught in anyone's crossfire.

"Anyway, Alice, it looks like the bakery's off to a promising start! Lots of people coming in for your grand opening, and hopefully it'll add up to a lot of repeat customers ..." She accepts the plate of cake when it's offered to her by a Koakumaid, and cuts a bite off the corner with the side of her fork before holding that forkful up as if she were lifting a glass for a toast. "Congratulations!"
Tomoyo Daidouji     Goodness, the place got busy very quickly, didn't it? Tomoyo and Sonomi look around at the flood, at the devil girls flying overhead to keep the paths clear. The mother seems amazed, having had less exposure to the Multiverse. Tomoyo just looks kind of tired as she regards the enmaided dollmaker. It's a pretty cute dress, but she seems awfully busy. Best not to distract her.

But, Yuna calls out to get her attention. Tomoyo turns, and sees the idol in the wheelchair. "Yuna? Oh no, what happened?" All her own worries are blown away at the sight of the other girl so banged up. "Oh, I'm okay, but you..." At that moment, Sonomi puts her hands on Tomoyo's shoulders and asks, "Aren't you going to introduce me?"

Tomoyo blinks, and quickly says, "This is my mother, Sonomi Daidouji." The CEO smiles and bows. "I'm always happy to get to meet Tomoyo's friends."
A-ko Magami Nearby, the sound of something arriving rather fast can be heard, before it screeches to a stop. Of course, once that arrival comes to a stop, one can see it's actually A-ko Magami. A bit late on the arrival, but arriving nonetheless. She enters where the others are and looks around for someone she knows. "Uh, hi, sorry if I'm a little late," She says with the hint of a sweatdrop. "I guess school got a little out of hand."
Konoe Kanno      Konoe jumps in surprise at being called on, and she peers at the approaching Koakuma. "I..." Oh god, chocolate? She hated chocolate! The last time she ate it, she hurled! It was terrifying! "Um...do you have anything that's not chocolate?" The TOTALLY NORMAL GIRL(Don't mind the fact that her hat twitched a bit) asked, while being lead over to a seat, which was coincidentally nearby Alice and her growing friend harem.

Despite being inside, she keeps her sunglasses on, for maximum anonymity. This was a sneaking mission!
Reimu Hakurei      Reimu sighs for a second before turning towards Alice, "Well, I was going to find Marisa so that I could tell her that her student isn't doing so well at the moment. Specifically, I found her on my last job working with the person who I was trying to deal with." She glances back towards Sakuya and she sighs, "Well, speaking of that, I was actually trying to get some work done so that I could get more money for the shrine."

From there, she switches her attention directly back to Marisa and continues with a hint of annoyance in her tone, "I happened to notice her screaming while trying to drown one of the Union members in the swamp. She's been working with Drowned Ophelia and considering how she was the last time I saw her, I really think you might want to look into it since she might need your help."

Afterwards, Reimu begins to mumble under her breath, "I'd rather not have to shoot her again."
Alice Margatroid     The Maid-Koakuma serving Evangeline gives a nod before flying off, it'll be a few minutes before the Power Chip Chocolate's ready. "We'll bring it right over!" she replies back to Evangline before dissapearing into the back. With here, the doors are actually upside down and made in a way to make flying through easier. The Maid-Koakuma near Konoe, however, thinks a moment, "We have some pasteries like the Blueberry Bomb Biscuit and the Starfruit Star Peice donut. Will those do?"

Back to the 'friend harem', Alice chuckles, "I'm not here to take your job as a maid, Izayoi. Even dollmaker's have to take a break from what they normally do." a pause, looking around, "True. Reimu, Marisa... YOU." and a lesser extent, herself... "I promise Mother isn't up to anything aside from serving people good snack food." Kotone, however, gets a brief nod, "Well enjoy yourself! We'll be open until late tonight." she nods, turning back towards the group... and that whistle that Marisa makes. She gives an embarrased blush, and turns to look away, "It's ... it's the dress code of the store. I didn't dress up just for you, Marisa." Shanghai and Hourai come out with a slice of cake, making a beeline towards Tomoyo "Here you go!" "This is on Alice!" they chime out, "We're glad you're here!" and off the two dolls go to help others.

Alice turns back to Yuna and smile, "Thank you, I'm glad." she looks around, "These girls just want to make an honest living and have fun doing it. So why not." Alice perks up, though, when Tomoyo is mentioned. "Excuse me a moment." as she ducks away and appears near Tomoyo. "Tomoyo! I'm glad you made it, I'm happy you're here. If there's anything here you want, it's on the house." Though, when Alice looks at the woman beside her, Alice is immediately in a respectful bow. "Lady Daidouji." for those who know Alice, that tone she gave is incredibly respectful. "Thank you for coming here, your daughter has been an amazing friend, I'm glad to have met her. The offer stands to you too, Lady Daidouji." She only gets up from her bow after a minute, mainly to respond to Reimu. "Today's just a day of enjoyment and relaxation, treat yourself Reimu and let's leave some of that behind, it's unbecoming of a bakery."
Marisa Kirisame "Ahh, don't worry about shooting her," Marisa grins at Reimu. "If Sanary's being dumb, just hurl a few talismans in her face and it'll be fine. She's a tough girl!" There's a beat as Marisa leans back and pulls what appears to be a rather well-repaired tome from a pouch sewn into her dress. She sets it aside and, with a flash of purple light, the book is replaced by a sleepy-looking girl in... gothic lolita fashion.

She picks up a menu and starts looking through.

"You've never met Celly before, have you?" Marisa asks over the table. "She's my new roomie! Well, 'new.' I picked her up months ago, now. Anyway--" The witch clears her throat, "If you think Sanary's in trouble, I'll go look into it. Can't have my students running off and getting themselves screwed without my approval, after all."

Marisa glances over towards Alice, then, and sloooowly grins. "Aw, but you do look good! Don't worry about me, just keep on doing what you're doing, Alice~"
Konoe Kanno      ...She'd never had anything like that. Well, it wasn't chocolate, so surely it wouldn't make her sick to her stomach after. Let's give it a shot. Konoe smiled and nodded. "Okay, I'll take one of both, please." And after placing her order and being seated, her eyes begin to wander, taking in the bits of conversation her muffled ears can pick up under her obscuring hat.

...Something about Sanary going insane...Tomoyo's mom? Huh. ...She would have asked her mom to come, but there was no way she was going to be awake for that. Wakahirume? She laughed it off. Sigh. Yuna being in a wheelchair was somewhat worrying, but the girl seemed pretty well despite, so Konoe nodded to herself an let it be.

....Marisa was as Marisa as ever. Which was nothing new. And Sakuya was about as scary in person as she figured the maid would be. Kotone... Ah, she remembered her from...where was it? Flat Earth? Back when they were in the middle of this Makai nonsense before...right? Hm.
Evangeline      Although not really friends with anyone here except Yuna, Evangeline bows politely to Tomoyo and her mother. "...I am not sure I am Tomoyo's friend...I do not believe we have met...but it is nice to meet you anyway..." the little Neuroi says as she floats there. After that, she gets quiet again. She listens to the conversations going on around her, her head turning slowly between speakers.

"...is that sort of clothing special..?" Evangeline asks outloud to no one in particular, though she figures Alice or Marisa will answer. After all, why else would a server's attire bring her under scrutiny?
Reimu Hakurei      Reimu finally begins to grin again and she takes a deep breath, "Thank you. I've been trying to contact you for a bit and I'm glad that you'll do something about it." From there, she sets her attention back to Alice and chuckles as she scratches the back of her head, "Sorry about that, Alice. I tend to get caught up in the moment. Anyway, I'm just glad that the business is actually working out for once."

After setting her hand back down, Reimu checks one of the pockets in her skirt for a second and she brings out a few yen and holds it out in front of Alice, "Will this cover a small slice of cake by any chance?"
Tomoyo Daidouji     Both Tomoyo and Sonomi are surprised by the sudden, grave respect that Alice pays to the latter. But the CEO just giggles, covering her mouth with her fingers. "Please, just call me Sonomi. Lady Daidouji makes me sound so old!" Well, there ARE a few grays mixed in with her brown. But it might be wise to not mention those.

Looking to Evangaline, Tomoyo tilts her head. "I've heard you on the radio a few times I think..." Normally, she would be able to place a voice right away, especially one as unique as the Neuroi's. But her thoughts are elsewhere right now. "But, I know you're in the Union. And I consider everyone in the Union my friend."

And then, looking through the crowd, she spots someone. Someone trying very hard to go unspotted. For the first time in a while, a soft smile graces the tailor's lips. It's cute, really.

"Oh, Konoe. Is that you over there?"
Konoe Kanno      "Eh!?"

Konoe jerked at the mention of her name and looked at Tomoyo, her sunglasses obscuring her eyes, but the way her mouth contorted about made it plain as day what she was feeling. "Um..." She cleared her throat quickly, trying to change her voice. "You..have the wrong person?"

She smiled a shakey smile towards the tailor, lips trembling nervously. Nope! No Konoe's here! Look, I don't have a tail! I'm wearing totally normal human clothes! And there certainly aren't a pair of kitty ears under that hat either!
Sakuya     Eyes closing, Sakuya rests her chin on one hand, elbow cradled in the other, "One must recall that I am not the Sakuya that you know. I am no longer a full-time maid." Thsoe eyes open, narrow slits with a faint crimson glow, "I have embraced the vocation of youkai hunter, now. Maidery is merely a hobby of mine. And so no, I do not feel threatened in the least, Margatroid. My comment was merely for your own benefit."

The glow is gone as quickly as it was there-- was it even really there? A trick of the light?

Those eyes swing towards a nonchalant patron trying to be inconspicuous. But with someone else addressing them, the 'scary' maid simply returns her attention to Alice, Marisa, and Reimu. Though she doesn't seem to have much else to say.
Kotone Yamakawa Friend Harem that might be a thing to call it when one thinks about it. She seems to be in good spirits but she's not sure about Reimu sthough she can't recall if she's met her before or not. Alice gets a grin for a moment and looks the outfit over for a moment.

"You are looking pretty good Alice."

With tht Kotone gives Yuna a sympathic look and is heades to get an order of her own and just enjoy the company here.
Marisa Kirisame If anyone has a Friend Harem here, it's Marisa Kirisame!! >:(

"Yeah yeah, don't worry about it," Marisa says to her bestest Miko-friend this side of Sanae Kochiya. "I'd be a pretty shitty teacher if I didn't worry about my students, right? I'll look into it."

Then someone mentions... KONOE KANNO.

Marisa's head swivels around like a mongoose that just saw a snake. Her eyes swivel across the room before finally settling on that... utterly inconspicuous woman in the sun-hat and the red-tipped hair.

Marisa's lips curl into a terrible, awful smile.

She sort of leaaaans out of her seat, reaches up, and...

Goes to snatch the hat from the woman's head.

This'll be awful if she's not who she thinks she is, but there's only one person Marisa knows with THAT kind of hair!
Tomoyo Daidouji     Suddenly, a happy jingle emanates from Sonomi's pocket. Reaching in, she fishes out a cellphone and puts it to her ear. "Hello?... oh no, I told them not to... oh fine, I'll be there soon." She hangs up and looks apologetically to everyone. "I'm sorry, an issue cropped up at work that needs my attention. It was so good to meet you all finally!" And with that, she's power-walking out the door, a car pulling up on the road for her to get into.

Tomoyo looks around at everyone and quietly buys a whole cake to bring home before slipping off. Anyone who notices receives a polite wave as she makes her exit. Right now, she feels she wouldn't be very good company anyway.
Konoe Kanno      Sakuya stares at her for a moment, and Konoe averts her eyes. At least until she turns her attention back to the others. ...Suddenly it was terribly uncomfortable in here. ...Where was that koakuma with her pastries? She should pay and skedaddle!

Or at least that would be the plan, were it not for Marisa sneaking up and pulling at her hat!

     "Hwah!?"

The hat is freed from the clutches of the head it is upon...wait that's not right. Well whatever. What's revealed underneath is.... is....!?

     Hah!

You thought that it was Konoe Kanno, but it was me! Di- Oh no...no, that was Konoe.

Because a pair of kitty ears spring free, twitching a bit as she blinks in surprise. "Ah!" And then she covers her ears with her hands, folding them back down uselessly! "Marisa!" She groaned in annoyance, cheeks flushing red, though her eyes were still obscured by sunglassess.
Marisa Kirisame A CAT WAS ADDED.

"Nyahahahahaha~" Marisa laughs, twirling the hat around and placing it... On top of her own hat. It sort of balances on the floppy cone-top tha is Marisa's distinctively witchy hat. She sinks back into her seat and props her chin and the GREAT, BEAMING GRIN above it atop her hands. "Hiii Konoe," the witch sing-songs and inclines her head curiously, "You got somethin' on your head? Tryin' to cover somethin' up, aren't you?"

"Dunno why though," Marisa grins. "They're pretty adorable, you know~?"
Reimu Hakurei
Reimu watches as Marisa returns to her seat with the second hat on her witch hat. For a moment, Reimu doesn't really know what to think at this point other than to possibly question Marisa's sanity. She could try to force Marisa to return the hat, but that would take too much effort. Besides, it might get the both of them kicked out which means no cake for either of them. Of course, she might be able to get cake for the both of them just in case.

She stares at Marisa and sighs as she still holds out the yen, "Marisa, sometimes I wonder if Mima didn't drive you insane.
Sakuya     "That would imply," Sakuya states evenly, "That there was any driving to be done."

The maid's outline distorts briefly. Just like that, she's holding a teacup and saucer in both hands, and one of the Koakuma servers is just as suddenly missing the one she'd been carrying. In its place, a neat stack of yen coins. Nonchalantly, she lifts this to sniff, then sip, "The tea is adequate, at least."
Alice Margatroid     "Thanks, Marisa." she smiled at the Witch, apparently happy for the compliment. "Just make sure you pay for your snacks here, Marisa. I don't want to have to chase you all over Tomoeda and Gensokyo for it." she chuckled. The Maid Koakuma near Konoe gives a nod and is gone in a flash.. to bring back what looks to be a blue square pastry with the letter B in it. And a green star-like pastry with a 1-UP made in it... who knows where they got those symbols...

To Evangaline, Alice nods, "It's, at least for this place, a symbol to make sure you know who's working and who's just there. It's a uniform." she nods towards Sonomi and she bites her lip, "Okay, Sonomi. Please do have a good time here." Alice turns towards Konoe curiously only to turn back towards Sakuya, "I see. And I knew that, you're a lot less... something that our Sakuya has. Oh well." but when Tomoyo heads out, she gives a brief wave back to her, a light frown. A Maid Koakuma brings a slice of cake and takes the yen that Reimu's holding, trading it out for that plate.
Reimu Hakurei
She smiles softly and nods politely, "Thank you again for the cake." She immediately takes the plate over to the same table that Marisa is currently sitting at immediately sits down next to her. She looks directly at Sakuya for a moment and chuckles, "It looks someone is certainly enjoying their ability to stop time."
Konoe Kanno      A CAT DID NOT WANT TO BE ADDED. THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A SNEAKING MISSION.

     Konoe? ...Konoe!? KONOOOOOOOOOOOE!

     PSHEEEEEW DA DA DUN!

Well, now that the mission was utterly failed, the off-duty miko sighed and lowered her hands from atop her head, letting her ears spring back up to their natural state. "I was just supposed to get in and get out!" She grumbles and crosses her arms. Damn it Tomoyo!

How dare she make Konoe SOCIALIZE!? Oh god no, please.

"...Hi Reimu. Sakuya. ...Alice. Kotone." And then she glared at Marisa again. "And they're not adorable!" Her order came out right then, and she sighed. "Thank you." She smiled to the Koakuma who served her, and then dropped her smile once she was done being courteous. Sigh. "...So what's this about Sanary going insane?" She asked, sticking a fork into her pastry.

...How did they get those symbols on there?
Yuna Kagurazaka Once Yuna actually starts eating, she pretty much drops out of conversation for a while - apparently, fully absorbed by how delicious the cake is.

There are a couple of philosophical schools of thought about what devils' cuisine is like. One school attests that devilish cooking is unspeakably delicious, the better to seduce mortals into the sin of gluttony; the opposing school states that devils can't make good food because of their evil nature. If Shinki's homemade cake (and Yuna's reaction to it) is any indication, then at least in Gensokyo's adjacent hell, the first school of thought appears to have a leg up.

"Mmmmm ..." Yuna smiles contentedly, setting her fork down on her empty plate. "That was *delicious*, Alice! Please tell your mother I said 'thank you' and how good it was .... I might have to buy a couple of whole cakes to take back to Shiraokadai with me ... probably ought to send some to Hikari Seaport, too ..."
Marisa Kirisame     "Naw, I was crazy even before I met Mima. Takes a crazy person to run headlong into the Forest of Magic, after all~!" Usually a crazy and soon-to-be-dead person, at that. Fortunately that didn't happen! How wonderful!

For Marisa.

Maaaaybe not for other people.

"Don't worry Alice~" Marisa grins at the Enmaided Puppeteer. "I ain't the type to eat and run! Not from a place run by a friend, anyway. Though then again..." Her lips curl mischeviously. "I wouldn't exactly mind bein' chased around once in a while.

She wouldn't.

...Would she?

Solid Konoe has fallen to the terrible power of Laser Witch. Marisa lightly plucks the hat from HER hat, and lightly twirls it around her finger. "They are, though!" Marisa snickers. "Soft and fluffy, they tempt all who see them to reach over and pet them. Why, if I were not THE GREAT AND EXCELLENT MARISA KIRISAME, I might actually be petting them right now!"
Evangeline      Evangeline tilts her head slightly at Alice's response. "...I...I know that..but you were being teased for wearing it...I thought perhaps there was some other meaning to the outfit..." she says quietly before lowering her head a bit. Seems she still has things to learn about humans. Why do they make such a big deal about clothing, anyway? Perhaps there is some sort of power in clothing that Evangeline hasn't experienced.

Since everyone one else is doing it, she tries some cake. She has practiced long and hard to give the illusion that she eats like other people, and so as she floats there with a piece of cake, Evangeline uses a fork and carefully takes a forkful before bringing it toward her 'face'. An opening appears where there wasn't one before, and she slides the forkful inside before the opening slowly closes. There is a slight 'clink' as she pulls the fork back, then...she pauses, staring at the fork. Which no longer has tines. "...ah...forgive me..." she says, then sets the fork on the plate and just holds the cake for now.
A-ko Magami Meanwhile, A-ko has tried some of the cake as well, and then looks to Yuna and smiles. "Good to see you again, Yuna!" She says cheerfully. "You'll have to pardon my arrival in my school uniform though. I was in a bit of a rush. You know how things are when B-ko causes trouble at school!" She grins a little.
Reimu Hakurei
Reimu sighs in disbelief as more than a few eyes are probably staring at the both of them at this point. She immediately rubs the temples of her head at this point while she picks up the nearest eating utensil, "Marisa, is this going to happen every single time you come to a restaurant?" She merely shakes her head in response before smiling softly to Konoe,

"I'm sorry if this has happened before. She has actually been this way for a long time now and she even acts like this in front of deities as well."
Yuna Kagurazaka "I'm pretty sure Konoe had a front-row seat when Marisa gushed over Lady Amaterasu's adorably soft tails," Yuna comments with a smile as she rolls over to where the miko is talking to her fellow Gensokyo-ites. "I apologize, by the way - I went ahead and called you by name earlier, but we haven't actually met off-radio yet, have we?"

It's hard to bow when you're sitting in a wheelchair; Yuna does the best she can. "I'm Yuna Kagurazaka. It's a great pleasure to meet you!" she introduces herself (properly) to Reimu.
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa has got something or another to eat and seems to be quite happy she grins at Kotone now for a moment as she's pauses at Marisa and also takes a look at her fgor a moment.

"They really are adorable when you think about it."

She just was looking for a moment to chill out, relax and things seem to be going very well along those lines. She also takes a look over to Yuna as she's eating.

"Looks like things are a success, for you and your Mother."
Konoe Kanno      Konoe sighs.

"Yuna is right." She asides to Reimu. "I've been around long enough to see......" Pause. "...plenty of what Marisa has to offer." That's putting it lightly, considering she vaporized her family's house, killed two of her siblings, and a whole host of poor innocent fairies that were simply failing at doing their jobs! Not to mention diving into her mom's tails!

     The inhumanity.

Konoe narrows her eyes at Marisa. "Uh-huh..." She mumbles before munching on her pastry a bit. "..So, great and excellent Marisa...my sister tells me you've been picking on her recently." She stares aside at Kotone right after and frowns. "They aren't!"

Said ears twitch and turn, as if to disprove her protests. Traitors.
Konoe Kanno      And lets not forget beating her up and drugging her with catnip, and then tying her up and interrogating her! That was also a thing!
Yuna Kagurazaka Yuna also looks up at A-ko, smiling. "You're here, and decently clothed. I don't tihnk it matters that much how you're dressed, does it? It's good to see you again, though!"
Marisa Kirisame Technically Marisa drugged her several times. She's also consigned two of Konoe's siblings to the fate of suffering Keine's elementary school, driven another one into harboring a frankly unhealthy grudge, and has accumulated an entire pile of blackmail on the eldest sister.

What a terrible person.

"Oh, yeah totally," Marisa grins at Konoe and gestures to the book-girl next to her. Celly hands over a... Cellphone? Where did Marisa get one of those? Regardless, she flips through some of the options and punches a button.

The result:

Wakahirume says, "Nyahahahaha~"

Marisa griiiiins at Konoe.
A-ko Magami A-ko chuckles at that. "That is true, yeah." She then takes notice of Yuna being in a wheelchair and says, "I hope you recover soon. I heard what happened to you. That sounds awful." She smiles gently. "Then again, we have the best medical staff here, so that shouldn't take too long."
Reimu Hakurei She turns to face Yuna as well, "Thank you again, Yuna. I'm Reimu Hakurei and it's nice to meet you as well. Then again, it's also nice to not be shot at for once." She relaxes for a second enjoys a nice bite of cake for once and after swallowing she continues, "It's been a long time since I actually had cake though. Yukari isn't really the type to let me relax at all."

She cringes for a second as she remembers the last few jobs she had from her and she smiles for a moment before glancing back to Konoe, "Err, yeah, like I said. She does this to basically every single youkai she has met." She glances at the cellphone for a second and casually asks, "Marisa, what is that and why does it sound like Wakahirume?"
Marisa Kirisame "This, my dear Reimu," Marisa chimes cheerfully, "Is something I twisted Kourin's arm for. It can record voices! And that's why it sounded like Wackysacky. Because it WAS Wackysacky."
Konoe Kanno      "..........."

Konoe facepalmed. "She fell for it too..." SIIIIIIGH. The good ol trick the cat/fox into laughing like a fool and then recording it.

     It never fails.

Konoe's hand slid down her face. "What...do you plan on doing with that?" She asked tentatively, taking another bite of her pastry in the meanwhile.
Marisa Kirisame "Adorable, right?" Marisa smiles at Konoe. "I'm not gonna do anything untoward! Just, you know, bring it up when she's getting all megalomaniacal again. And maybe show Ammy. I think she'd get a kick out of it."
Alice Margatroid     With everything that's going on, Alice slipped away to help more and more customers. It didn't help that she was also getting a look from Yumeko. After all the current customers are taken care of, she heads back to the little gaggle of friends after Yumeko's approval and sighs, "I didn't expect to be /this/ busy today..." a pause, "Then again, I never expected to help run a store." she gives a chuckle and offers slices of cake to those present. "Ummm, so, I hope everyone here enjoys the bakery. I mean... it's not much but, we are trying."
Reimu Hakurei
Reimu swallows another bite of cake and nods politely, "Considering what my memories of how we usually meet go, this is a very welcome difference." She glances towards Yumeko for a moment and smiles nervously, "This is really quite the change of pace though. I honestly never expected something like this to happen for a long time, but I'm actually pretty happy for them."

As she looks at Yumeko, certain memories begin to resurface. Most of those memories involve knifes, lasers, frantic pursuits, and finally several barrages along with Shinki's rather elaborate final assault. For a single second, if one was looking closely, they could see that Reimu actually smiled more than usual, before her smile shrinks again, "I'm just glad that grudges weren't held over what happened."
Konoe Kanno      "...." Konoe tilts her head. "Well..I guess mom would find it amusing..." She shakes her head. "But poor big sister..." Ever since Amaterasu woke up, she's been nothing but the butt of jokes and blackmail collection. She kind of felt sorry for her now.

Even if she did kind of deserve it.

Ah well. Alice soon comes back after working the floor, and Konoe nods. "It's been...interesting." She smirks in a way that only a cat can. "It beats chasing you and those demons across worlds and getting into spectacularly dangerous shootouts."
Reimu Hakurei Reimu brings the utensil to the plate only to hear a clank instead. She looks down and notices that the cake is gone. "Anyway, I better head back before some of the fairies realize that I'm gone and they start trashing the shrine." She gets up from the chair and bows politely to everyone, "It's been very nice to see you guys again and I hope that business goes well with you. With that, she walks out of the door and off to the nearest warp gate.
Marisa Kirisame     "Aw, I'm enjoyin' it fine," Marisa says to her bestest puppeteer friend. "I mostly came here to see all of you guys. I figured you'd be here-- been a while since we had a little get together like this, you know?" She pauses a second, tapping at her lower lip. "Though I'd really like a fruit parfait."

KONOE. "Aw, don't feel too bad," the witch answers with a sharp laugh. "I just want her to relax a little bit, you know. Loosen her collar." There's a beat as she thinks for a moment. "You might wanna watch out though. She might think that you're competing with her to be Amaterasu's Favorite Tail Buddy."
Konoe Kanno      Konoe facepalms again.

"...Well good luck with that. She doesn't seem like she relaxes very easily." She plopped the rest of her pastry into her mouth, chewing as she got out a purse and left payment on the table. "Anyway-" She stood, taking her hat back and putting it on.

"Don't tease her too hard. She's- ....Oh?" The cat blinks. "....Favorite tail buddy?" Her shoulders slump a little as the incredulity kicks in. "...What?"
Marisa Kirisame "Yeah," Marisa smirks. "I caught her snuggling your mom's tails while Ammy was asleep. Anyway, she thinks you might want to take her favorite spot. So you might want to keep an eye open."
Konoe Kanno      "But I don't...wait huh? She does that?" Konoe processed this information. ....Loading....loading....loading....loading.....loading....

     Error.

Konoe just sort of blankly nodded. "Um...I'll keep that in mind." She mumbled, turning away and shaking her head in a disbelieving manner. Never a dull moment, huh? "Later, Marisa, Alice, Yuna, everyone." And she saw herself out the door.

     That was somehow exhausting.
Yuna Kagurazaka "Seems like everyone's already getting their fill of cake," Yuna muses as she waves good-night to the departing Reimu and Konoe. "It all really is delicious, though - I'll have to start visiting Tomoeda more often."
