Alden Alden had been silent for a while, since the... encounter they had with the D-Reaper, and some other stuff he didn't have the chance to talk about. So chances are, Gao and his tamer got a bit worried!. Eventually, he did call them over via the phone, the voice sounding a bit odd. He simply asked if they wanted to come over for a while, simply talk, and perhaps train if things worked to that point.

The coordinates were his 'training' ground, not too far from his meat farm, and they find he had worked on it, adding a little running track, make the obstacle course a bit longer (and still facing the large crystal), some weights and other makeshift targets and things. Oddly, Alden was nowhere to be seen, but Fangmon and Blackgalgomon where there already, eating some meat and chatting.
Gaonoir By this point the electronic 'pttpttptt' of a certain scooter making it's way through the crystal landscape was hardly an unusual sound.

The main difference is that for once, instead of sulking on the back of the seat behind Erika, Gaonoir was sitting on what lap the small vehicle allowed, propped between her arms. Though it doesn't look like this is going so well for the small canine as he keeps having to crane his head and spit or try to wipe his mouth with the back of a gloved paw. "How do you not get bugs in your mouth all the time? Bleh!"

"Turn your head aside a little when you speak," Erika replies, while she does just that.

"Then how do you see where you are going?!"

"Look ahead when you're not speaking, duh," she replies, before turning forward again.

Gaonoir buries his face in one padded palm with a soft sigh. "I am starting to understand how you can't get a license for a -real- vehicle." Between dumb logic like that and the near constant texting...
Alden The two digimon hear the scooter easily, what with gigantic bunny ears, and just wild animal senses, and turn to face the visiting pair!. The Galgomon waves, using its long ears even, it's adorable, even for a critter with guns for hands. The fangmon meanwhile gets up and happily dashes to the scooter, making sure not to get in their way, "Hi!" he yips excitedly, smiling broadly, which might be... creepy, given all those fangs and long snout. From the area where the pair were seating, a Katze emerges!. She was apparently behind a small rock formation, being lazy, and she yawns a bit, "Let me call Alden!" she mumbles, touching the D-Arc and talking a second. "He is comming!".

It is not too long, before a small figure emerges from the large crystal that doubles as the final wall on teh flying course!. It's a small blobby thing, with brown fur, and a large, dark grey horn on it's head, and it bounces slowly towards the group, "Hi." it says, it sounds very... familiar.
Gaonoir Erika pulls the scooter to a stop, letting Gaonoir slink out of her lap while she puts down the kickstand and gets off herself. Just to nearly get run over by an excited Fangmon. "See, isn't it nice to have people actually glad to see you?"

Gaonoir snorts softly, doing his usual armfold of disinterest to keep his feelings to himself as usual. "Eh. He's acting more like a puppy than I do, and I'm the Child stage here."

Then the vagely familiar horned blob bounces into view after Katze's heads up. This gets a stare from Erika, eyes wide even as she squats down, adjusting her glasses to make sure she's not seeing things. "You look like someone stuck a machete through a pincushion."

Gaonoir doesn't react much than a vage raising of a brow, though the headband does make the expression a bit more noticable than it would normally be with his dark coloration alone. "Huh. Don't see a digimon in Baby stages often. Unless they just hatched."

"He'd be cuter if he didn't... y'know..." Erika wiggles a hand away from her forehead, trying to indicate the disporationately large horn without pointing it out rudely.
Alden The fangmon seems amused at being called a puppy, adn playfully leans to nuzzle the puppymon's ears, tho he is ready to move away, not overdoing it, just being silly and friendly. Then it goes to nuzzle at Erika. The BlackGalgomon gets closer, and snickers as he hears those words, "I think he looks cute enough." he says, "Right Katze?". Alden blushes redly at those words, "Hey, I am cute." he protests. Yep, that sounds like Alden!. He bounces closer, a bit embarassed, "So, hey Gaonoir, Erika." he says, while Katze hops atop him, "This is Alden!, at least for a bit longer." she says happily.
Gaonoir Gaonoir gives Fangmon a push away after the nuzzle, but its noticably more playful than trying to be mean than it might of once been. It's more like the way one guy would shove another guy after sharing a laugh over a dumb joke. "Do I even want to know what happened that would drain you badly enough to devolve past your base stage?"

Erika on the other hand gives the fox-like 'mon a scritch by the ear before flipping out the D-PORT and using it to scan Alden's current form. After a bit of processing it brings up the image and 'TUNOMON' but that's it. None of the data text the other digimon scans have had. "Oh good grief." She gives the digivice a light shake. "Don't tell me this thing is busted already!"

Gaonoir gives her side a nudge to get the girl to stop. "Calm down! It's likely because there's no data to show. Baby stages are rarely seen outside of a digimon devloping after hatching in my Digital World, and don't have any combat ability save some self-defense moves in desperation."

"Oooooooooooh." Wait. Erika tilts her head at Gaonoir. "He's not from your world, though."

"No, but the D-PORT is made from code from my world. So it likely functions on our specifics."
Alden The giant (and freakislhy thin) fox yips playfully, glad Gaonoir seems playful, chuckling a bit, "Sorry, I just like you guys, you are really nice, and strong!." he says happily, before returning to casually pester poor Alden, by 'grabbing' the plump thing and bring him back. Alden appreciates the help, even if he seems embarassed, "It's the same in my world." he begins, defending Gao's explanation.

After a moment he adds, "I got trashed badly." he says softly, letting out a sigh, "But I think I am ready to get back to normal." he says, before grinning to Erika, "Just wanted to let you look at it, since I know you liked seeing other digimon." he says. He even blows some bubbles, "That's about the only thing I can do like this." he explains. The BlackGalgomon grins and moves closer, offering Erika a friendly pat on the head. "The Sovereigns all claim to be sorry for the incident we had, but... Zhuqiaomon seemed to be mad you guys got unscathed from it... I think they might reconsider letting you enter, even you.".
Gaonoir "If they're going to be pissy because someone actually used some sense and tactics, that's their problem," Gaonoir retorts, recrossing his arms. Though after a moment, his gruffness fades a little. "Besides, I think I was more lucky I'm a digimon with abilities they had never experienced before. I doubt that luck is going to hold out the more that we encounter them."

"Besides." Erika nudged her glasses back onto the bridge of her nose with her thumb. "They're not going to exactly stop us from trying to help just by being jealous of another world's type of Digimon."

Which actually gets a faint snickering "Heh" out of the shadow boxer. "I'm not exactly known for listening to so-called authority that is in over their gigabytes and too arrogant to admit it."
Alden Seems the Fangmon and BlackGalgomon feel similarly, the bunny one nodding, "Well, to be fair, of the four... one of them hates humans and things from other worlds, and the digimon traitors that help humans... two seem... neutral about it, and one is trying to talk teh others into realizing that at least... it might be useful to have friends elsewhere, especially in our situation." he says, smiling, "I hear that the incident was solely caused by one of them... perhasp to see if he would herd the D-Reaper away, give it something else to attack." he says in a soft, conspirational tone, "But the other three stopped it."

Alden shakes his head a bit, "They blocked the way to the human world from the portal, so I can't go back adn visit." he explains for a moment. He grins after a bit, "But, anyway, I think I am ready to evolve back to normal... let's see if I can at least manage that without the D-Arc." he mumbles. Katze moves to wards teh pup boxer and Erika, holding the device. It begins to glow, tho there are some momentary error displays. Alden glows brightly too, emiting a few faint... concerning noises (like glitched audio), before his form 'explodes' adn is revealed as a Gabumon again!. "That was a bit harder than I remember." he muses, looking over his shoulder, "Am I complete?" he asks. (yes, he is). The Fangmon paws at his face, "Warn me about that next time, it was too bright." he complains.
Gaonoir Erika rolls her eyes aside while tapping a couple of fingers to her cheek. "Gee, where have I heard that sort of story before."

Gaonoir snorts in the opposite direction. "Yeah yeah, there's similar divisions between the remaining Royal Knights. Who are too stuck up in their own stuff and their precious isolation to do anything. That's why *I* am here, after all."

"So either one of them has a big chip on his shoulder," Erika continues, ignoring the retort in favor of Fangmon's potential conspiracy, "Or that incident was the Sovereign equivilent to Ding Dong Doodie." Which probably no one else in the conversation is going to get.

Besides, the conversation gets interrupted again by Alden evolving. With a bit of distortion (fortunately the D-Port is resistant to disruption) and a flash bright enough to make both Digimon and Tamer shield their eyes. "This must be why Digimon stay out of public until they're fully grown. Moddammit that's annoying."
Alden Alden blinks a bit as everyone seem annoyed, "What happened?" he asks, before stretching, "IT feels nice to have limbs again." he says, doing a bit of punching at the air, and reaching to tug on one of the BlackGalgomon ears, "That's for treating me like a baby when you saw me earlier." he says playfully. Fangmon seems intrigued at the mention of the Royal knights, "That does sound familiar." he says, nodding a few times, before turning to Erika again, "Both are options... Zhuqiaomon is... not the nicest person." he says weakly, as if affraid someone might hear. The BlackGalgomon rubs its eyes a bit, "Too bright." he mumbles, before smiling, "How have you two been?" he asks.
Gaonoir "Yeah, that was brighter than the usual evolution," Gaonoir confirms along with BlackGalgomon. While trying to not snicker at Alden yanking on his ears in revenge for earlier slights. "Though it might just be because of how much of a jump in energy going from your Baby stages to a normally developed Rookie stage." He remembers this time to use the stage denotations Alden and his friends are use to at least.

"Busy enough." Erika takes her glasses off to rub the lenses with a corner of her sweater between two fingers. "The net cafe finally reopened, but I've only been doing part-time shifts so I can be around when Gaonoir might need me. Though the Fleet keeps him pretty busy, too." She sounds slightly disappointed she doesn't always get to go on those missions, but doesn't linger on the moment. "Never a dull moment, that's for sure."
Alden Alden nods a few times, chuckling a bit, "Yeah, while I do want to see my old tamer again, not sure I can ask him to come with me into this place... he is still in school, and has a family and stuff." he says, "I hope he is ok." he says. He looks away for a moment, before he grins and shakes his head, "Thanks for using those terms, Gaonoir." he says, his lizardy tail wagging. "I feel like I should punch something, I know it sounds odd since I finished recovering from a nasty thing, but anyone wants to spar?, or at least a bit of practice?, would like to get used to some cards." he asks, "I would use the practice." he adds.

The BlackGalgomon yanks it's ear away, "Only if I get to shoot at you." he says playfully, "Or him." it adds, looking at Gaonoir for a moment. The Fangmon yawns broadly and stretches, "I'm game, the last time I got to do something like that was our last spar."
Gaonoir Erika nods a bit. "Yeah. Gaonoir won't let me go with on the really dangerous missions for the Hikari Fleet, even if he can't use Umbra Gaogamon without me. Not until I get more experience dealing with things other than chasing down stray monsters and crazy conspiracy theories." And then the boys all start talking about brawling again. "I think that's our cue to back up some," she remarks to Katze as she takes a few steps away from the group herself.

"Eh." Gaonoir puts a gloved paw on the opposite shoulder to wind his arm a few times and stretch. "I suppose I could use a chance to punch something other than unworldly elderitch abominations that should of stayed at the bottom of the ocean."
Alden Katze climbs on Erika's shoulder, "Why don't you ask around to see if there are classes for that kind of stuff?" she asks, "I mean, I bet there must be a school of some sort somewhere, what with all the heroes and crazy things!" she says happily.

The pair of digimon grin, "How far do you want to go?, I don't mind something like last time, but we can go to a more calm pace too." says the Black Galgomon, before it evolved into the Rapidmon. The Fangmon digivolved as well, the armored Catsuramon taking his place and stretching, long, flowing tail wagging.

Alden makes a motion to Katze, who uses a card for him. The evolution is quick, and 'normal' this time, before the WereGarurumon stands there again, cracking his neck. "We can do this like this and fight with MachGaogamon, or Umbra."
Gaonoir Gaonoir smirks a bit before evolving in his more darkish glow... But unlike the others it only ends up standing his bulkier bearish Black Gaogamon form. Despite being surrounded by three Perfects? This is the sort of odds he -use- to fight, which is probably why he is grinning even as the scarves flick around behind him. "Let's worry less about winning, and more about technique." Paws curl to dig his claws into the ground. "I need to stop relying on my big forms so much, anyways."
Alden Alden smiles and nods, he still thinks Black Gaogamon is adorable, and would hug the big, bearish wolfbeast if he figured he'd get away from it with all his limbs intact. He seems a bit surprised at Gaonoir taking it taht easy, "Maybe we should tone down a bit... I feel we might be going too harsh on him." says Alden. Of course, the others simply start, with BlackRapidmon a short burst of energy blasts, "Rapid Fire!". The armored dog meanwhile rushes to stand in front of the other canine, waiting this time.
Gaonoir "Harsh?" Gaonoir barks back with a bit of a laugh. "I could beat up any one of you on my own most likely even a stage lower." Even with lightening up Gaonoir is still rather cocky. But it's not entirely misplaced, either. You don't live long enough to get an attitude like that without being able to back it up to some degree.

The energy shots burst against his form, but the thick darkness-infused fur covering his body is almost as effective as any sort of armor in difusing the damage done. "Don't forget." The end of one scarf-limb curls up like a fist as it thrusts out in a punch, stretching with considerable speed to reach the distance Rapidmon is firing from. He knows he's not as fast as a normal Gaogamon, but that's why he's got the reaching attacks that are quick instead. "I was -made- to fight stronger things and bigger odds than my own form!"

"Just between you and me," Erika murmurs to the Shinki on her shoulder, "I think he wants to get beat up. He's not the sort that can just tell themself to be more modest."
Alden Alden simply nods at those words, "Ok, just don't complain when you end up as a pile of limbs on the ground." he says playfully. He begins to circle as well, tail wagging, "Let's go!" he calls Caturamon, even as he charges at the big, fluffy 'canine. "Wolf Nail!" he exclaims, claws glowing crimson as he slashes the air in front of him, leaving a large energy X in the air, that flies towards the canine. (I believe this is more of a 'really hard slam' kind of attack, maybe slashing too, given how it worked in the anime).

On the other side, hopefully on the direction Gao might take to dodge, the armored canine tries it's main physical attack. "Bao Tsei!" jumping and somersaulting, his armored body somehow turning into a large, metallic mallet/hammer, swinging on it's own to hit the big beardog.

Of course, the Rapidmon is swift, moving aside, only to fire again, a pair of missiles this time, "Homing missile!" he adds.

Katze tilts her head at that, ears twitching, "You think he is trying to learn to be less... over confident?".
Gaonoir Unsurprised that Rapidmon dodged even a quick long-ranged jab, Gaonoir slams a clenched paw into the ground in front of him and throwing up a discharge of crystalline debris in the path of the missiles and detonating them upon impact. It's a clever use of the natural terrain around them, give him that much.

But Alden and Catsuramon have the right idea when it comes to tactics, flanking the burlier digimon from two sides at one time. Gaonoir swings one stout forlimb to swat the Kaiser Nail attack, smashing right through the energy slashes composing the X-shape. The other digimon drops the hammer at the same time though and gets in a good blow while Gao's still not on stable footing from the last two defensive moves. Back claws dig into the ground to keep from skidding backwards too far, huffing as he settles back onto his feet. "Okay, I'll admit, usually when I was fighting three or four Demon Soldiers at once they weren't so great at working together," he admits.

"Mmhmm," Erika replies with a little nod. "It's just... the way he is. Some things take being beat into his thick skull -- literally. But he's realized that, and is trying to use it instead of suffer from it."

With the two closer to him now, Gaonoir twists and rears up on his back legs much like a grizzly would. Though instead of swiping with claws, he sweeps an arm to grab Alden's sleeker form, heft him off the ground with the twist, and then slam the wolf down between his bulk and the hard ground.

"He's also been watching pro wrestling," Erika adds, bemused a bit. Just because it's fake for humans doesn't mean a clever monster can't turn it into something more real. "I think he got the idea from Beelzebumon, even if he won't admit it."
Alden Alden growls as Gaonoir just... destroys his attack, and charged forth!. That proved to be a very bad idea, when it ends up with him being subjected to a wrestling move!. A very painful one, causing the were to yelp as he is slammed painfully, squirming under the giant dog. Caturamon bounces back, returning to it's regular form, "Nice move!" he praises, "Looks painful." he adds casually, waiting a few moments, before moving to help, by which he means, trying to tackle the big fluff dog from over Alden. Rapidmon wastes no time, zooming around from another angle and trying again, "Homing missile!".
Gaonoir For as much as Alden pays for just rushing in, Gaonoir gets it in return because it takes him a breath of time to get back onto his paws afterwards. A few seconds off is all it takes in a fight. Caturamon plows into him, the other canine smaller but that metallic body makes an effective battering ram. It's enough to knock Gaonoir backwards, and off-balance just long enough that he can't do something to deflect the missiles. This time Rapidmon is rewarded with a big explosion of successful impact.

Clearly he's not down yet though, as the scarves come whipping out of the cloud of smoke, whizzing right past either side of Caturamon. The counter-attack missed!

... Or did it, as the clawed ends dig into a crystalline rock. And moments later they work much like the bands of a slingshot, as Gaonoir's bulk comes hurtling out of the fading smoke with the yank, right towards Caturamon!

Feels like he's trying to focus on individual attackers in turn, instead of just rampaging in his usual wrecking ball collateral damage recklessness.
Alden Alden gets up slowly, rubbing his head and back, "Ouch." he says, before focusing on the action. He watches the slingshot attack, and makes a hand motion to Katze, who quickly tries to figure out a card, "Which one was it..." she mumbles.

Meanwhile, Caturamon's smirk from seeing the explosion twitches at the 'failed' attack, only to get hit on the face by a gaogamon that apparently played angry birds. It makes a rather loud clanging noise, and the deva wannabe is sent down flying back, extra bulk or not, one of his tooth cracked. The rapidmon is stunned as well, but cheers on at Gaonoir for the maneuver, followed by a barrage of energy blasts, "Rapid shot!".

Finally, Katze finds a card, adn slides it!. Alden smiles as something appears, only to grumble as it turns out to be an oversized brush, "Darn it... oh well.", he mumbles. He rushes forward, and uses the large brush to paint a kanji like symbol in the air, (a bit sloppy) "Bonhitsusen!". The symbol glows red at first, before it begins to emit white light like a powerful lantern, holy energy burning the area ahead, it hits a rather broad area, and might be quite painful to dark creatures/evil.
Gaonoir Gaonoir hits Caturamon with enough force that it snaps his scarf free of its anchoring, feet dragging on the ground to stop as the other digimon tumbles away from him. He sees Alden gesturing out of the corner of his eye, but before he can do something about it he has Rapidmon being strange by both cheering and attacking at the same time. More of the energy burst thoom softly against his form, though now he is starting to show the wear of battle finally. With a grunt he turns around, and does his Big Bad Wolf impersonation. "DARK VORTEX!" Which sends a spinning cyclone of shadow energy hurtling towards Rapidmon.

Except it gets cut off slightly short when Alden decides to play pictomancer. Okay not quite but that's the closest joke I could make to drawing holy symbols in the air. The energized strike is enough to send him reeling over, as while not evil being an embodiment of encoded shadows does pretty well count as 'dark'. Remember kids, despite what other franchises try to tell you, DARK IS NOT NECESSARILY EVIL!

Gaonoir tumbles head over huskie tail a bit, but then the rolling actually gets faster. Fast enough that he stops briefly from the counter-momentum, and then goes tearing across the ground back -towards- Alden like a giant black and purple wheel. It's a bigger, bolder version of the Rolling Counter of his lower stage.
