Ferham      The mechaniloid deployment center had been sending out automated reports of malfunction, and due to the reports of malfunctioning robots wandering around the area it had gotten Ferham's attention--apparently it had also incited interest from the union, as well. Ferham had just finished taking care of a few rogue highway repair bots in a corridor inside the large facility, which had the feel of a car production facility--but was obviously more advanced, containing a lot more automated production machines. The robots that built the robots that built the robots, one might say.

Hitoshura may hear Ferham's approach from around a corridor--her footsteps were lighter, more casual, the sound of what sounded like... high heels? on concrete, yet still retained a metallic quality to it--was it another haywire robot??

He might be surprised when she finally comes around the corner, however--most of the drone robots and repair bots there didn't have gams like her, after all. She was definitely humanoid, and definitely feminine. Her green eyes peering out from beneath her helmet would blink upon noticing him, pausing to stare for a moment.
Hitoshura Hito and King Frost, a fattened up, more regal version of Ice King from Adventure time, came down the corridor. In fact, King Frost was huge, and unfortunately for Hito, Hito was wearing his Union Elite uniform this time. His eyes and tattoos pulsed light occasionally, but other than that and the spike coming out of his neck, he looked pretty human.

"Shouldn't you have summoned Thoth, Hito-" King began, just as they rounded the corner. King seems to be sliding across the ground (maybe on an ice patch beneath his frame?)

They both see Ferham. Hito takes the lead, "Hi. We're here to help with the facility. I don't have any tech support, but I am combat ready. Do you want assistance?"

He's not surprised to see a gynecoid, not here. Now, if she were in a human city, maybe it would be different, but Hito's normal is everyone else's weird. Frost is thinking, but makes no aggressive moves, although his demonic instincts tell him otherwise.
Ferham      Ferham's eyes moved from Hito, to the much larger and white King Frost, noticing the trail of ice it had left underneath it--before looking back up to the humanoid.

"Tech support? I'm not exactly that, but... I'll assist you if you need it," Ferham had just gotten done being repaired by Staren after his run-in with X and the incident at that city with the clockwork bots, but even then she hadn't been exactly hostile towards the Union even then. Her issue had been with X, after all, but now things seemed different there, too.

"I see you have a body-guard? I too am pretty good with zero-temperatures, myself," Ferham looked down a corridor which seemed to lead to another chamber. The place still seemed dangerous, as when Ferham continued along in front of them down the hallway the place sounded some warning klaxons.

"Central computer room, I think security is still active, you want to give me a hand?" she turned to him and King Frost, gesturing for them to follow.
Hitoshura King smiles at hearing the comment about zero temperatures and says,"You don't say. I think we will get along nicely with you," He's referring to himself in the third person, though it's not immediately obvious. Eccentric is putting it mildly.

As to the comment of a bodyguard, Hito says,"He's my demon partner. Er.. spirit partner. Anyway, he's one of six, and I'm only half-human. I can handle most little threats on my own, but there's no sense taking extra risks by going it alone,"

"Yeah, we'll give you a hand," Hito says. Apparently Hito is the leader, at Frost doesn't bat an eye or even discuss other possibilities. "What will we do once we reach the central computer room? Shut it down? Repair it?" Hito asks, not being really good with anything higher than 20th century tech, of which he only has a basic knowledge. Hito and King follow Ferham, keeping alert for traps or enemies.
Ferham      It seemed the femmebot was used to eccentric by now, as she seemed to not be too weirded out by it. "Demon partner, huh? I guess you're the handler of this guy here?" Ferham asked as she manipulated the door controls for the central computer chamber, at first messing with the pad on the side before balling her clawed, gloved hand and giving it a good smack--causing it to short out and the door to release.

"Works every time--lets move fast," Ferham ducked under the door as it rose, making sure to keep her wings from bumping into the frame--not noticing that the chamber had some... guests.

"We need to disable security and turn off the production lines, this facility has been producing maverick mechaniloids," Ferham began, however as they entered the room security had already arrived, it appears.

A large semi-humanoid green and yellow mechaniloid with three-fingered pincer hands and a bizarre snake-like head stepped out from the far side of the room, flanked by a couple of much smaller buzzing dragon-fly like robots that hovered around it.

"Watch out!" Ferham cried out as the larger one raised it's arms and fired lasers at them, trying to push Hito out of harms way and take cover against the floor.
Hitoshura Hito is pushed out of the way, thankfully, and rolls with the push, coming to rest behind a column. "Oof, thanks, I think," The hiding spot might fit another person, but not Frost.

King quickly hides behind a box of crates, and aims icicle darts (bufu) at the dragonfly things. Occasionally he charges more energy for a large piece of hail (bufula) at the dragonflies, but doesn't yet know if he'll be fast enough to take them down.

Meanwhile, Hito thinks lightning is going to be his best bet against this monstrosity.. He pops back and forth from the crates, aiming mid-level electricity (zionga) shots at the radar killer, while trying to avoid being shot himself.
Ferham      The large humanoid insectile mechaniloid, known colloquially as a 'Radar killer' had opened it's jaws wide and fired another laser from it's mouth Bubblegum Crisis-style after giving a one-two series of shots with both hands. This particular one is equipped with three legs (as opposed to the two-legged variety used by Sigma's forces during the maverick wars, which apparently had stability issues due to being top-heavy) allowing it to jump back in defense from the zionga blast, though one of the dragon fly bots is not so lucky. The one that goes down is the less advanced Pararoid R-5, which is green--and got caught in Hitoshura's electric magic, causing it to explode. The second, is a similarly winged but pink model Pararoid S-38, also referred to as a 'Metaroid'.

Hitoshura is about to realize why the pink one is different as it buzzes around him, his demon and Ferham and despite the latter's attempt to snag it with her whip swoops down and attaches to her back.

     "Ahh! Hito--W-Watch out!"

Connecting the dragonfly-fly 'sting' to Ferham's back after latching onto her it soon assumes motor control over her body and causes her to whip around towards Hitoshura with awkward, wind-up toy like movements, swinging her whip around menacingly.

"I can't stop it!" uh oh.
Hitoshura Hito jumps over the laser blast, and studies his opponent. Okay, maybe if he hits nearby with a area of effect lightning (Mazio?) He aims a blast at the floor near the Radar killer, and this one radiates out a bit.

Oh snap! Puppeteer controls! Hito manages to avoid most of the whip, but does get grazed on the side. He is shocked and burned, and grunts.

"It .. can control you?" He wheezes. "No fair! K-King, help her! Remember, she can stand the cold!" Hito orders. King quickly glides over to behind Ferham. His girth protects him from the worst of the whip, and he quickly lowers her temperature and that of the attached robot, hoping to disable it and not her.

Hito backs out of the range of the whip and tries to go back to fighting the Radar killer. This isn't going so well, he thinks.
Ferham      As the Radar killer lands on it's strange 3-legged body it is caught in the blast of electricity that radiates across the floor, causing the electricity to flow up through it's legs and it's arms raised up and it whirled around the room recklessly, spazzing out.

Hitoshura on the other hand now has a possessed femmebot on his hands as Ferham took a few more steps toward him, her arm raising the whip and bringing it down against the floor like a lash--clearly without the skill and finesse that the owner of the body retained--this was more like it was trying to use her body to attack Hito rather than accessing any of her memories or abilities--this was pure motor control.

The whip of Ferham's might come down hard against King Frost, leaving criss-cross marks against his front, then she's blasted by the cold wave by King Frost--blue energy and ice forming over her body as she's stopped cold, leaving what looks like a frost-clad avant-garde statue in her place of Ferham standing there with her arms out in an action-ey pose, the Pararoid still attached to her back, however--perhaps it could be pulled off like that?
Hitoshura King tugs on the metaroid's tail, trying to pull it out without damaging Ferham. He is rather strong, so tries to do it gently, gradually applying more force as needed. He is hurting from the whip, and now there's an out of control Radar Killer spinning around like a doomsday top.

Hito puts himself between the radar killer and his friends, and closing his eyes for the briefest of moments, erects a barrier in front of them all.

"Rakukaja!" A bright purple barrier forms in front of them, hopefully keeping the rather large bot at bay, as well as boosting their defense somewhat.
Ferham      Ferham had been stopped cold (d'ohoho) by the blast of frost from dah King, leaving her standing there as that interesting femmebot frost-statue. As he pulls the Metaroid free she seems to stay stock-still as she's left there frozen, the frost falling away from her face as she huffs and blows it free, looking around as she's still stuck there.

"Pfft--well, this is embarrassing," Ferham seemed to be better now, though she was still an attractive looking statue for the moment. "Hnnggh--" she struggles as she slowly breaks out of it--apparently left-unharmed by the cold while the Pararoid-variant was left disabled and frozen-solid.

Meanwhile, the Radar killer whirls around and seems to have somewhat recovered, but electricity can still be seen running through it and it looks like ozone gasses waft up from it's frame, clearly damaged. It takes two steps, stalking towards the two, now shielded by the barrier--opening it's mono-eyed snake-like mouth and prepared to fire again...
Hitoshura King attempts to break the now hopefully frozen bot. If successfully, he will strengthen the barrier with a gesture reinforcing it. What was a mediocre shield is now tessellating like snowflakes and much sturdier/larger. It also takes a hexagonal shape.

"Okay, after the blast, all out attack, triple team 'em!" Hito says in between gasps. "Definitely," King says. He is bleeding blue ichor from the whip lashes, but it doesn't seem to phase him, unlike Hito. Must be a tank type in addition to cold manipulation.
Ferham      "Mmphh... nnghhh--" Ferham still seemed to have a bit of a problem speaking as she reached back and put a hand over the pararoid still stuck to her back, dislodging the 'sting' on it's dragonfly-like tail and holding it up as the ice continued to break and fall down it's body. "Sorry hon, your motor control days are over," Ferham then whipped the frozen mechaniloid directly at the still going Radar-killer, likely letting it get caught in it's incoming blast.

"Get down!" Fer attempted to pull Hitoshura out the line of fire by grabbing him by the shoulders--the Radar killer's mouth-laser came right for them.
Hitoshura Hito gets down with Ferham's help. King slides away from the blast on the opposite end. Maybe he was slightly out of range? The barrier did deflect some of the blast, but not all. It's a good thing Hito had help. Is it a New Moon? Is that why he feels so weak?

King attempts to bombard the Radar Killer with large icicles. Hito, however, is ready to listen to tactics. "All right, how do we defeat this thing?"

He will let Ferham take the lead, since she knows much more about this creatures than he does. Machines were never really his thing, although the occasional machine spirit like a gremlin or poltergeist has been seen where he is from.
Ferham      The Radar killer rears back as the icicles pelt it--looking as if it's large but light-weight frame is thrown off balance by the heavier chunks of ice--Ferham's whip wrapping around the creature's neck as she keeps it from firing it's mouth-laser again at them.

"You've got to destroy it's head, don't you have a weapon?" Ferham, now free from her icy bonds, seems to be straining with the whip a bit--until the electromagnetism in the length of whip begins to paralyze the mechaniloid. "Might need a little help over here!" she holds onto the whip handle, bracing it with both hands.
Hitoshura "Okay, I'll try," Hito closes his eyes, breathes deeply, and then forms two neon longswords attached to his hands. He rushes the mechaniloid, and tries to catch the head between the two blades in a scissor motion, hopefully cutting the head in half horizontally.

Meanwhile King begins a healing spell, a slow regeneration of energy and body centered on Hito, as his wounds are the greatest other than king's own. "Diarama," he mutters.
Ferham      "Ouch, remind me never to ask you for a haircut," Ferham winces as she retracts her whip back into the handle, letting the mechailoid go. The Radar killer's head was mangled by Hitoshura, and it wasn't going to work anymore. The entire frame of the thing slumped over, still on it's 3-legs, it's large frame propped up by it's own weight, like some kind of dead dinosaur.

"Alright, lets shut this place down," Ferham was now finally able to get to the main computer console, and within a few seconds of her tapping at the keys there was a large-scale electrical hum of many different machines went off at once, the sort of sound you hear when there is a brownout in your house and everything powers down at once.

"Okay, that should stop this place from producing anymore maverick robots, sorry about your friend there," she turned and faced King Frost. "That thing uh, took control of my motor functions," she gestured with her chin to the now melted remains of the pararoid.
Hitoshura King shrugs, looks over to Ferham, and smiles,"Not a big deal. I'm used to this being Hito's partner,"

Hito begins to heal King's wounds to the point where they stop bleeding. "Are you hurt at all?" He asks Fer. He doesn't want to overlook injuries when he is able to help heal them.

After the healing bit is over, Hito asks Fer,"You shut that down pretty quickly, but who started all this? Is there some kind of master robot in charge that manipulated all this, or..?"
Ferham      "Used to it huh? That's handy, I suppose," Ferham put her weapon away as she turned to face Hitoshura. "I have to apologize to you as well, I didn't know there'd be any of that particular model here--it's specialized, they can take control of other robots--that feature isn't standard," she sighed, and shook her head gently. "No, I'm fine, I wasn't damaged at all," she tilted her head. "That I can't tell you, seems this place was running automated for a while before it began to produce mechaniloids with corrupt programming," she shrugged. She wasn't sure exactly what caused it. This was what Reploid scientists like Doppler or Gate were for.
Hitoshura Hito nods after a moment. "I see. Well, at least the problem is resolved, but where did the distress call come from? Was it automated?"

King and Hito seem to be much better physically, although they appear a bit tired from using the magic. That's just the price you pay though. King seems to have more magic reserves than Hito. In fact, it seems that King is slightly stronger than Hito, except for being less versatile and agile.Hito must rely on his partners a lot, although it is surely mutual.

Anyway, it looks like things are wrapping up.

"Well, if you need my help again, let me know. Maybe we'll meet under better circumstances," Hito says with a smile. He proffers a small disc with his private radio frequency. ((Hito joined your party! Okay, not really. ))
Ferham      "I'll have to look into this a little further, this didn't seem to happen on it's own," Ferham nodded quietly, before turning to move closer to the door. "You think you cna use any more of those electrical powers? We might need to power a door or two to get out of here," she smiled as she turned to the demon-man.

"Powers like yours could come in handy during a black-out," she seemed to be teasing him just a little, however good-naturedly.
Hitoshura Hito smiles and says,"Sure. And if we run into any mechanical lions, you can take care of them with your whip." More teasing, also good-naturedly.

He and King follow her out of the compound, and to the warpgate. King grimaces at the desert, and Hito is glad to have found a friend.
