Count Kord     One way or another, Kord got in contact with Alden and invited him to visit some farm land out in the middle of Dragoni. It was emphasized that he should feel comfortable and that there was no particular rush but that it was preferred he showed up today if he wanted to visit. The directions would lead him from the warp gate on the main route between Archengart and Dragoni to a little area of open land where some tables and chairs had been set up and... there's Kord.

Except Kord is not dressed in his armor. He's dressed in plain brown pants, a brown vest, a white shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows to show off that his hands appear to have the shape of claws to a certain degree, much like Yveltal's wings, which explains the use of his gauntlets a fair bit. It must be for the sake of using certain Pokemon moves when he gets disarmed. He's also got a tail like Yveltal's, which is unfurled and draped in the dirt, the claws on the end of the fanning shape shining dimly in the cloudy sunlight.

Kord is a big guy, with weird physical features, but his posture fits right in and from a distance one would expect him just to be an odd farmer. He seems so relaxed.
Alden Alden was easy to get in touch, so if Kord can get on the normal channels, it was a snap to contact the digimon!. He accepted the invitation happily, a chance to take his mind out of some stuff, and he wanted to make sure he didn't make him wait!. His arrival might be a bit... surprising, depending if Kord was aware or not of Alden's abilities, since a large quadruped wolf is what approaches the meeting point, not outright running, but moving at a rather brisk pace, long tail twitching behidn him. "Hi Kord!" he woofs.

As he approaches, he begins to slow down, a smile gracing that lupine muzzle, "Sorry if I made you wait.". While the digimon does notice the odd... details, including the tail, he has seen even weirder stuff, and he might think this is just normal on humans on other universes!. The wolf approaches casually, and goes as far as politely sniffing the human, before he realizes he was still in his evolved state, "Sorry!, I forgot to change back." he mumbles. A bright flash of light, and the petite gabumon was standing in it's place. "There, hope I did not freak you out."
Count Kord     Kord watches Alden's approach, not frightened in the least. Despite how deep his voice is and how silent he moves when he's in his 'uniform,' this casual state of him shows how expressive his face is. And he looks much younger than his voice would suggest, or how he refers to himself or others. He smiles patiently at the Digimon, and even makes a wider smile like he was about to laugh from the apology, one of his claw-tipped hands raising to wave off the apologies.

"I was worried I would be the one to scare you, actually," he tells Alden, "These features are abnormal in Bayern, and even seen as monstrous in some towns. In Dragoni, I'm practically a saint or a demigod." He waves one of his hands at the Digimon. "The Pokemon around here are instinctively afraid of me for it... It doesn't matter. Welcome. Thank you for coming," he says, "Since you are unaffiliated, and not of my world, and not human, I thought I would show you around. Would you like that?" He's blunt about it. "And do you want something to eat later? The farmer that owns these lands has been cooking something for supper and said there would be plenty of extra."
Alden Alden shakes his head at the mention of being scary, "Not at all, but then again, I guess a lot of my friends from the digital world might be scary to most people." he says with a chuckle, rubbing the back of his head, before offering one of his hands to shake, "So don't worry." he says softly. The mention of the important rank on this land does impress him, eyes opening wide, "Wow, so you are like one of the devas of your world or something?" he mumbles softly, before nodding, "I'd like that, I enjoy exploring, and it might take my mind out of some stuff." he says, "I admit to be curious about... pokemon was it?" he says, "They look kinda like digimon."
Count Kord     "Something like that," Kord replies, agreeable to the comparison of devas. His hand, when he shakes Alden's, would feel cold to the touch... despite having a warm body temperature, and it would leave the fingers feeling a little tingly, perhaps. It's clear there's more to those hands than their appearance. "Follow me," he says, turning to start walking down a path down the farm, over some short hills. There's a Ponyta grazing in the distance that he leads Alden toward. "You look like a Pokemon. That was one of my first thoughts when I first met you. But the differences are clear."

Once they get close enough to the Ponyta, he beckons the creature over. It hesitates, nickering at him in protest, but eventually and tentatively approaches. He watches the fire-type horse carefully, and indicates, "This one is named Daisy. She's still a young Ponyta." He breathes a sigh. "Pokemon, at least here, do not speak. They are... smarter than animals, but not smart enough to hold a conversation in most cases. Ghosts and psychics are the exceptions, of course, but they aren't the same as humans in their thinking."
Alden He does not ask how Kord knew what a 'deva' was, but maybe there were similar things elsewhere!. He shakes vigorously, tingles or not, and looks down at his hand for a moment, smiling and simply deciding to ignore it. "Of course." he replies, reptile tail wagging slowly behind him as he follows Kord, admitedly, looking at the odd tail a bit. He has the odd impulse to try to bat at it, but... decides against it.

"I noticed that too... saw one that was walkign on two feet, blue and cream colored, with black hands and feet, looked kidn of like a dog, reminded me of a digimon." he says, describing a lucario. He waves to the nervous fire equine, "Is that fire on Daisy's mane and tail?" he asks curiously, moving just a bit closer. "I see, there are some digimon like that too." he muses, rubbing his chin. "But, you say most normally can't talk, right?" he asks.
Count Kord     "That's a Lucario," Kord tells Alden, "Steel and Fighting. Formidible creatures, and more intelligent than most Pokemon."

"That IS her mane and tail, it isn't real fire," Kord explains, "And the Pokemon in Bayern mostly don't talk. In other worlds, it is completely normal for them to speak. I don't know how anyone travels in those worlds without a flock of Spearow driving them batty," he says, amused by the mental image. The Ponyta steps around Kord and leans in to sniff at Alden's face, intrigued by the unusual creature and unable to piece together what he's supposed to be.
Alden Alden laughs at the mention of a flock of talking birds, "You eventually get used, or you try to destroy them on sight." he says softly, "It happens back at home too." he says with a grin. He reaches to brush the Ponyta's chin when he gets sniffed, and tilts his head, "I see!, the multiverse is odd." he adds, about the 'here they don't talk, on other places they do' bit.
