Princess Luna      Early night in Equestria. It is peaceful, serene, and lovely. The dark blue sky is filled with countless stars and a full, radiant moon. The royal city of Canterlot is mostly asleep except for the night guard and the night princess, Luna. The pony princess is out on her rounds of the kingdom, her large wings carrying her effortlessly over the vast fields and forests that make up Equestria.

But, as she nears the Everfree Forest, Luna feels something unusual. She makes her way down and lands at the edge of the forest not far from a small town called Ponyville. The tall alicorn peers into the darkness of the forest, then says to herself, "...something is amiss."

Not certain just what she senses, other than a disturbance in the magic of the area, Luna waits to see what might approach her. As she waits, she raises a hand and summons her magical weapon, Nightsong. She always hopes she will not have to use it, but she also always accepts that it may be needed.
Ela'Ashbel     Following a sharp drop in temperature, there a thunderous sound like that of a rockwall splitting and the matter of the verse breaks open, admitting the Farseer, Ela'ashbel to the world of Equestira before closing behind her. The eldar, helmeted, armored, and armed with her witchspear, is likely not something that would be familiar to most denizens of the world, but she strode across the ground with purpose.
Was this the cause for the strange feeling? Or was there something else out there? Considering the feeling probably gets worse with the arrival of the farseer, it could be concluded that she had something to do with it.
For Ela'Ashbel, she knew the feeling of the warp. It was here. Though its pressence was small, it needed to be stopped before something terrible happened. This world, nor any world, for that matter, was equipped to effectively fight against chaos once it gained a solid foothold. So, Ela'Ashbel raised a hand, releasing a wraithbone sigil into the air which glowed with an eldritch light to guide her path forward.
Spotting Luna was not something she would be doing, yet, at least.
Princess Luna      Luna might be missed by Ela'ashbel, but it would be hard to miss the Eldar's entrance into this world. Princess Luna almost leaps into the air at the sudden sound. Ela steps toward the forest and Luna moves toward her. Even if Ela is somehow linked to the strange feeling, Luna has learned over the years not to act in haste. She approaches openly and without trying to hide her presense. She even raises her free hand and calls out a greeting.

"Salutations to thee, knight. Art thou seeking the same sensation as I? Something feels...different within the Everfree Forest. Is it linked to thee in some way?" Luna says as she approaches. She has her scythe, but it is lowered in what she hopes is a clearly non-threatening posture.
Ela'Ashbel     When Luna approaches closely enough, Ela'Ashbel pauses and turns to look at her. The crysal in the center of her gelm gleams in the moonlight, but also seems to radiate with a light of its own. "Everfree... hopefully it remains that way." She glances off into the distance before returning her attention unto Luna. "I am Ela'Ashbel, Farseer of the Kaelor craftworld. The... sensation you feel, it is the pressence of the greatest enemy the materium faces. A force that change manipulate, change, corrupt, and destroy and cannot be stopped. But, we must stop it."
She holds out her hand and the rune that she had released into the air floats back over to her and hovers over her hand. "This will guide us to the breach. What we find there may no longer make sense. It could be anything. It may be unrecognizeable. It may be that anything nearby has been corrupted by madness. You must be prepared if you seek to protect your world, for your life, and the life of every being you protect is on the line now, and we only have so much time."
Princess Luna      Princess Luna listens to Ela'Ashbel, and as she does her expression goes from cordial to serious but skeptical. "I am Princess Luna, and it is my duty to protect the ponies of this land. I am not unfamiliar with world-threatening dangers, so let us enter the Everfree and beat back whatever might be inside. But, be warned. The Everfree is already a land of magic a mystery. Not everything we encounter may be of the type thou art here to combat."

With that said, Luna motions for Ela'Ashbel to lead the way. It might seem overly trusting to just go with someone who appeared from nowhere and talked about a threat which Luna has not encountered before, but at the least Luna figures it may be a wild goose chase. At the most, they will have to stop something very dangerous.
Ela'Ashbel     Ela'ashbel seems to stare at Luna for a time being, as if gauging her. "A princess. Then you understand, as you say." She turns her gaze towards the path ahead. "I do feel this is no ordinary forest. But that is what makes it worse. Chaos corrupts. Changes things. The threats you are aware of here may not be what you are familiar with anymore either. It will take both of us to ensure success." She then releases the rune and follows after it at a slow jog.
Princess Luna      Princess Luna frowns at that. "I have experienced chaos before, but even it was of a controlled nature. Nothing was turned to a truly dangerous threat. Hopefully the magic in this forest is enough to keep this corrupting force at bay until we reach it." Luna says as she follows after Ela'Ashbel.

The Everfree Forest is already comprised of very tall, gnarled trees and lush undergrowth that makes it difficult to navigate. At night, it is even harder, and just about every large bush contains a pair of glowing eyes that watches the pair as they pass. To those not used to fear, it would be quite spooky, especially with the many growls and howls and cries that flow from the darkness.

But, as they continue to travel, the already dark forest turns...even darker. The trees, already unusually curvy and curled start to become jagged and seem to have jack-o-lantern faces. Large branches start to resemble giant branch hands. And...start to seemingly grab at the passing pair.

Wolf-like howls soon fill the air, and those many glowing eyes start to gather together into an obvious pack moving through the darkness and underbrush. Luna raises her scythe. "...Timberwolves. If they have been infected by this chaos thou art battling, it could become quite a problem."

The wolves pace Luna and Ela'Ashbel, flanking them on either side, and Ela would likely feel it when they are about to strike. Still, it is with sudden and decisive swiftness when three of them leap at Ela in unison, and another three leap at Luna!
Ela'Ashbel     "The magic of the forest may prevail for now. But the warp will grow, and chaos never stops. It will likely lose unless someone like you steps in to protect it."
The pressence of the timberwolves does not go unnoticed, and Ela grips the haft of her spear tightly. "It seems we are not longer alone." She comments in a cliche fashion. "If they are dangerous to begin with, we can only assume they will be doubly so, now. And insane. Saving them may.... not be an option, but we shall see."
When the wolves leap towards them, Ela'ashbel twirls around and moves close to Luna's side and slams the butt of her spear down releasing a powerful shockwave of psychic energy that creates a barrier around them long enough to impede the first attack from the timberwolves.
"We will need to work together to overcome this foe."
Princess Luna      Luna is just about to create such a barrier herself when Ela leaps into action. Luna stands at Ela's back after the shield is formed and the timberwolves smash into it. "It seems they have been affected. Timberwolves are already dangerous, but these seem...larger. Stronger. Usually smashing into a barrier such as yours would splinter a Timberwolf." Luna says as the wooden creatures bite and claw the shield. It wouldn't be long before the shield starts to weaken.

And Ela may be dismayed to find that the very plants have joined in the assault. Roots and vines around their feet have started to move, trying to stealthily wrap their way around Ela's and Luna's feet. Luna doesn't seem to have noticed this yet, as she is busy using her magic to reinforce Ela's shield. "Timberwolves are rarely actually killed, so do not feel restricted in the strength of thy attacks. The forest will recover quickly, and the Timberwolves will recover eventually." Luna advises.
Ela'Ashbel     Ela glances about, taking in the scene. Six of the timberwolves and plants. Could be quite dangerous. "I'm dropping my shield. We need to eliminate them and move on." The barrier then drops, allowing the wolves to come forward, but Ela is prepared for them.
She lashes out at one with her witchspear, the blade colliding with one of the wooden beasts with enough force to launch it into a second before she raises her hand and fires a blast of psychic enery into the third. She figured Luna could handle the other three.
Princess Luna      The warning gives Luna time to prepare. When the barrier drops, Luna's scythe lashes out, lopping one Timberwolf in half in the blink of an eye before the shaft of her scythe swings around and smashes the second and a swift kick from her hoof shatters the third. The six fallen piles of timber smell terrible, and still glow softly with magical power. Luna huffs. "We must hurry. They will not stay down long." she says.

Then, Luna blinks as she realizes she has been rooted in place by the plants. She mmphs in annoyance and slashes at her bindings, then kicks free. "The entire forest is against us?" she says grumpily.
