Scene #4589: A Lost Faunus?

Mitsu Mirage	Afternoon in Vale, a lot of amazing things around... and this time, someone's not here to steal any of it. Wandering around the streets, a dust jacket wearing, shorts sporting, black eared and long haired "faunus" is making her way around the streets, looking into Dust Shops that line the area, possibly thinking about a few things here or there. Though, with her pacing, it almost looks like she's lost. A few scratches upon her ears, she gives a light mutter, "Man, these itch a bit more than expected. Then agian... it kinda was a bit hard... and odd." she shrugs, hoping that her voice was low enough to not be heard. A chime comes from Kratzenfaust's standby mode and a low voice, <Be wary. Who knows if Yang is around.> comes a reply, "Yea, yeah.. I know. Anyways, so, we're supposed to meet up with her right and meet them?" she questions to 'thin air'... leaning up against one of the Dust Shops... "So pretty..
Yuna Kagurazaka	Well, there is a blonde Huntress-in-training (sorta) around whose name starts with Y, but rather than Yang, it's Yuna Kagurazaka who's meandering through the shopping district. She's actually licking away at an ice cream cone as she walks: chocolate, from the looks of it. That's all she actually has at the moment - no bags with purchases from other stores or the like. Maybe she's just out sightseeing or window-shopping? Certainly she doesn't seem to have any business in any of the Dust shops, although Yuna does pause to linger in front of a couple of businesses: looking at the displays in a bookstore, giggling at an adorable plushie which dominates the window of a toy shop, lingering wistfully as she passes a clothing store ... "Oh, hello there!" she says with a smile as she greets the Faunus. "How are you?" There's no hint of recognition, at least not yet .... which may leave the rabbit girl wondering why Yuna slowed down to say hello.
Mitsu Mirage	Mitsu's actually, surprisingly, minding her own buisness! At least, until a certain blonde Huntress comes poking at her with verbal acknowledgment. She perks up, those ears perking up with which causes the 'Faunus' to shiver... she's so going to have to get used to those. She slowly turns around and... puts on a bright smile. "Hiya." comes a perky voice, "I'm a bit lost but I'm doing well. Just staring into those Dust shops with awe, a lot of those crystals are pretty, aren't they?" she gives a brief, forced, chuckle. -Play it cool, Mitsu...- "Hey, aren't you that idol? Yuki Kagurazuku? Yako Kago? Yuna Kagurazaka?" she shakes her head some.. "The name's Mit.... Magenta. You can call me Mag." Mitsu offers a hand over to the Idol for a greeting handshake... hope she doesn't blow this...
Yuna Kagurazaka	"Yuna Kagurazaka," the blonde idol replies with a smile, shifting her ice cream cone to her left hand and freeing her right hand up for a shake. "Magenta, huh? That's a cute name," she says, sounding genuinely appreciative. "And yes, the Dust crystals are pretty to look at ... but they're dangerous if you don't know the right way to handle them. I don't really need Dust for my weapons, either - at least, not what I've been using." "So what do you do, Mag? Are you a student somewhere, or already working ... ?"
Mitsu Mirage	Ah... she's touching the idol's hand. And she's not getting thrown or punched or anything! Ariah's RIGHT! IT does work to not go whole hog. "Ah. Right... I know a friend had one blow up on her. It... it almost hurt her." she gives a nervous chuckle, though when the question about student or working, she turns blank... "Ah..ah... umm..." She shakes her head, "Actually, I was planning on trying to enroll! With... all the people around with dust weapons, it gave me the start to be a great person, just like the people in Beacon! Maybe even a ..." pause, what was she again? She scratches at her rabbit ears slightly, wincing some, oh yeah. "faunus like me can become a person to help." another pause, "Umm, how would I go about doing that?"
Yuna Kagurazaka	Yuna hmms, "Well, if you want to enroll at Beacon, you have to go through the application process ... they'll want your transcripts from school if available, they may want to make sure you've already got some combat skills and experience - they don't have a 'beginner course,'" she says as if warning Magenta. "If you go to Beacon, either you've already made good progress as a Huntress trainee, or you have the skills and capabilities to keep up from other sources." A rueful smile crosses Yuna's face. "In my case, it was 'real experience' fighting everything from girls who'd been brainwashed to the Queen of Darkness herself to a wider range of monsters than I want to think about ... but, I'd been wondering where I could go to college, and Beacon seems like the best fit for what I need to learn. - Hey, are your ears okay?"
Mitsu Mirage	"Ah, I see. Well I... wait, transcripts?" she pauses, well, there's a snag. "I... I think I have those somewhere." she mutters, "And I do have plenty of combat experience, I went three versus me when it came to someone trying to hurt my dear father." she frowns, "I'm actually just kinda roaming around, a lone faunus." she gives a shrug, "Been working for small amounts of money to make sure I have clothes and food." Though, when Yuna explains some of her 'real experience', MItsu just... sighs, "Ah, yeah... umm oh, my ears? Yeah, they're fine, just a bit of an itch and pain, nothing to worry about. I'll be perfectly fine." she nervously cuckles and looks towards the books, "I don't have a weapon yet. I've been looking for one, though, a friend knows of a sword they're trying to get for me. Simple, but it works."
Yuna Kagurazaka	"Swords are good," Yuna nods. "Reliable, fairly straightforward, easy to take care of ... generally doesn't require ammunition, although in Remnant you never know ..." She grins wryly, but sympathetically. "So you said earlier you were lost ... where were you trying to get to? I might be able to help you figure out which direction you need to go in - or were you just hanging around for now?" She pauses, focusing on trying to finish off what's left of her ice cream cone - preferably before it melts.
Mitsu Mirage	Hmm, "I might have to try that... wait? Weapons here use ammunition?" she looks around, "So that's why I heard that noise..." she mutters, shaking her head, "Alright, well. As for me, I'm sorta just hanging around for now... I mean, I got nowhere to go and nothing to do. Maybe I might pop into the Dust store and see if they have any books about making your own dust weapon..." she gives a chuckle, "Did you wanna follow along?"
Yuna Kagurazaka	Yuna shakes her head, finishing off hre ice cream. "I've got some things I need to shop for, but Dust or weapons aren't on the list right now. A few books for school, earphones or a headset for my Scroll ... stuff like that. Assuming I can find a headset that doesn't cost too much." You would think, she muses, that with Remnant being part of the Multiverse now, SOMEbody would have worked out how to do third-party accessories for Scrolls, but whatever they use here, it sure isn't Bluetooth-compatible. Which possibly shouldn't surprise her, but still. "Anyway, it's good to meet you, Magenta, and good luck on getting into Beacon!" The blonde idol smiles brightly, then offers a more formal bow to the Faunus by way of goodbye-for-now. "I'll try to be a good sempai to you if you do get into the school," she adds with a more playful grin.
