Owner Pose
Li Syaoran Li Syaoran was waiting in the arena, his sword out and practicing his katas. After his earlier match with Yang, he was looking forward to his current match, stretching and gently guiding his blade about. His motions were smooth and gentle, katas he'd practiced a hundred thousand times.

A crowd had gathered in the stands, a small one. After his latch match with Yang and a few other students he'd fought since, he was getting... well, people wanted to see what the foreigner could do. If nothing else, at least he was interesting.
Guest Vivio     It's Vivio's first visit to this world! Thankfully she doesn't get lost due to her excellent sense of direction. That and she has a map, complete with something akin to GPS positioning.

Entering the arena now is Vivio, whom Li may recognise as spectating his fight with Arthur. She walks up to Li with a little bounce in her step before coming to a halt and giving the boy a friendly smile, "Hello again! I don't think we've officially met sooooo~" She raises her hand in exclamation, "I'm Vivio Takamachi! Fifth grade elementary student of the Saint Hilde Academy of Magic and practioner of Strike Arts. And this," The small backpack she's wearing appears to wriggle for a moment, before a small plush bunny bursts his way out and moves to float next to Vivio, who continues, "This is Chris, my partner!" The plush bunny waves at Li.
Li Syaoran Li Syaoran blinked a few times before sighing. "Ah. another stuffed animal. How interesting." He moved to stand across from her. He leveled the sword at her. Okay, now people were just kind of... less excited. After all, he was going to fight a little girl?

"Well then, Vivio-chan. My name is Li Syaoran, heir to the Li clan. I am currently inbetween schools, but I attend the same school as Sakura-chan. A pleasure to meet you. I will do my very best to provide a good match. when you are ready." He slowly took his stance, left foot out, right foot back. Sword raise.
Guest Vivio     Vivio bows to Li, "A pleasure to meet you." She straightens again, grinning in anticipation of the fight, "Now then. Let me just transform~" She turns her head to look at her partner, "Come on Chris, let's do this!" The plush bunny Device nods in determination and Vivio calls, "Sacred Heart, set up!"

A sphere of irridescent light surrounds Vivio, mostly hiding her from view, leaving only her silhouette visible. It appears to grow in size and after a few moments, the sphere of light bursts with a light gush of wind, leaving an older looking Vivio behind clad in the combat outfit known as a Barrier Jacket.

Vivio throws a few warmup punches and kicks, before settling into a combat stance and smiling playfully at Li, "Ready when you are!"
Li Syaoran Li Syaoran cocked an eye when she changed. Well, he hadn't expected that, none the less it was at least enough to get the crowd reved up. Well, there was a light cheer. He didn't know what she was capable of yet, though. No weapons he could see. But that meant little to him.

He charged in and then whipped out with his blade, bringing it down on her left side. However, as he pulled the sword back, his left elbow shot out at her face, an attack from two different sides.
Guest Vivio     As the match officially starts, Vivio's expression becomes more serious as she locks her eyes on Li. Those vivid red and green orbs study the boy closely, taking in everything about him. His physical proportions, apparent body physique, his stance, weapon... Anything that could provide useful information to her.

Meanwhile, Vivio's own appearance is somewhat telling too. Though her Barrier Jacket does consist of some armored components, most of it appears to be a thin body suit suggesting magical defenses. A lack of visible weapons and raised fists suggest an unarmed combat style. This seems to be confirmed as Li charges in.

Vivio raises her arm to meet the boy's blade, a small amount of magic flashing on contact, protecting Vivio from a potentially serious injury. But the newly openned hole in Vivio's Barrier Jacket at the point where the blade cut indicates that the attack wasn't wholly nullified.

One strike handled, Vivio's eyes do not miss the attempt at a second. She ducks underneath the elbow swing, Li's arm passing just above her head. She then brings her fist up from below, legs pushing up as she channels her strength and magic into a rising blow to Li's torso, the magic exploding into light on contact.
Li Syaoran Li Syaoran eyed her as she moved. However, as shewatched, she might notice he was already moving to avoid her blow. Even before she started to make it. As if he knew where it was going to be. He brought his blade down, the flat of the blade blocking the blow and sending him stumbling back.

He quickly went back into position, blade out and ready. She was interesting. An unarmed combatant. He lifted his sword up and took a deep breath, before sheathing it. some might think he was going easy on her now.

He wasn't. He charged forward, thrusting in with a powerful right jab before yanking back, his left foot shooting out for a rapid flurry of blows at her side, moments before he'd step in for an open palm strike towards her jaw.
Guest Vivio     Vivio is impressed that Li was able to bring his blade around to block her punch in time! She may not be as fast as her mama, but she's still pretty speedy.

Vivio holds her ground and watches as Li sheathes his blade. She was perfectly content to fight against such a weapon, it wouldn't be the first time. But on the other hand, she did recall that Li also practiced martial arts and she was excited to see it. So as Li charges her, Vivio can't help but smile.

Vivio raises her arm again, Li's right jab smashing into it, another small flash of magical light signalling a successful strike. That and Vivio's slight wince, but it doesn't linger. Vivio jumps back just ever so slightly, dancing from one foot to another as she avoids the flurry of blows from Li's foot. The sudden step in and palm strike is a little more surprising, catching Vivio right where Li had aimed.

Vivio is briefly knocked off balance, spinning to the side from the blow. However, she recovers quickly, jumping back through the air a little before landing, regaining her footing. She holds her jaw for a moment, before grinning happily.

Vivio pushes off with a slight gust of wind, speeding in towards Li as she zigs right, zags left, then jumps and spins. Irridescent light quickly gathers around her leg as she calls out, "Revolver Spike!" Li better be prepared for the incoming strike as the magic-infused roundhouse kick has enough force behind it to hit like a freight train!
Li Syaoran Li Syaoran didn't even seemed surprised by the movement. Once again, his ability to see slightly into the future working with his techniques. He'd duck down and quickly go into a roll away, the kick missing by a long shot. Probably for the best, as he wasn't the most durable. It might have ended this too fast. He quickly got back to his feet, turning to face her, his left foot out again. "Your barriers are quite effective. I've come to found they are quite common in this new world."

He charged in. This time his flurry of attacks came from all angles. His left elbow went out, before he pulled it back and his right foot shot out, three quick kicks towards her own leg, trying to knock it out. Then the moment the leg came down her stepped in, thrusting his left knee out at her abdomen. It was a good thing she had that barrier, most likely. His martial arts were designed to deal maximum force in a single blow. But, sadly, he didn't have any fancy finisher attacks like hers, just his martial arts.

Well, he did have one. His right hand moved in next. "Heed thy call! Fire, help me!" Fire would erupt from his hand, aimed at enveloping the woman.

Yeah, he wasn't holding back at ALL.
Guest Vivio     Vivio is once more surprised by Li's ability to avoid harm... She really should stop with that! As Li rolls away, Vivio calmly lowers her leg once more, theng rins at his compliment, "Thank you! Though there are actually a lot of people in the Multiverse who don't have them." She motions towards Li himself, "I'm quite impressive with your reaction times! I'm not sure even Chris could do so well," Said plush bunny, who has just been floating in the air above the two watching, looks insulted... Or at least as much as he can as a plush bunny. Vivio finishes, "And he's a highly advanced artificial intelligence!"

But, enough complimenting each other, back to the match! The two close distance again, arm meeting elbow, leg meeting foot, foot meeting side, flashes of magical light emphasising each blow. Vivio does stumble a little from that last, giving Li the opportunity he needs to unleash his flames. Vivio is engulfed by the fire.

As the flames fade, Vivio can be seen panting a little. Her Barrier Jacket is scorched in several places, though her defensive magics kept there from being any serious burns. However, that's not all. A triangular spell circle is glowing on the ground beneath Vivio. And in the air around both her and Li, orbs of iridescent light float. Vivio starts, "Sonic Shooter..." She jumps, soaring through the air away from Li as she finishes, "Assault Shift!" The magic orbs shoot in towards Li, each exploding in a blast of magical light with whatever they come in contact with.

Vivio lands again, waiting for the smoke from her attack to clear and reveal Li's fate.
Li Syaoran Li Syaoran smiled. She was good. His ability to see the future gave him that added little reaction time. Not much, especially here. She still seemed able to match him quite capably. He couldn't deny he was impressed, not many who could do that. Even he, at that age, would have had difficulties keeping up with his current strength and speed.

Then she did that. Orbs of light exploded out. She'd see him pull out a talisman, moments before things started exploding. For a few moments there was smoke and his fate was revealed. Then it began to clear, revealing him. The scroll was on the ground. The dirt had risen up to form a... not quite a shield, but to dampen the blow. The ground was layered with dirt and holes where the damage had been most severe. But he hadn't gotten away, unscathed. In fact, he had a few bruises and was panting, scuffed up with dirt.

"You have quite a wide range of attacks. But so do I." He charged at her again.

"Force, know my plight, release the light. Lightning!" He thrust his hand out at her, lightning arcing off his hand, surging out at her. And he didn't stop there. Even as the lightning disappeared, he kept going in, stepping in close to her bubble before giving two quick, but powerful punches at her abdomen, before stepping back lightly. On kick to the leg, hip, then one high one towards the head. Followed by his left leg coming back down and him spinning around in a spin kick from the other direction.
Guest Vivio     Why is it always lightning? One of these days Vivio is going to start carrying around a portable lightning rod. Then all those lightning uses will be powerless! Muahahaha~

Ahem. Suffice it to say, Vivio's faced her fair share of lightning attacks. Even as Li thrusts out his hand, Vivio thrusts out her own. Within moments of calling his spell, Vivio manifests her own, "Round Shield!"

The lightning arcs out towards Vivio, but impacts the circular shield of light that forms just beyond Vivio's hand. The energy courses over it, Vivio visibly strained by the effort of defending against it. But finally it passes and Vivio releases her shield. But Li's assault isn't over yet!

As the boy charges her, Vivio shifts into a defensive stance. She starts to take Li's blows once more, Vivio's arms carefully placed to take the punches on the large gems on her sleeves. Her foot intercepts the low kick, her arm blocks the mid kick, but the high kick finds purchase on her head.

Vivio spins, Li's final spin kick coming in towards her. But Vivio's patience and studying of Li's movements finally pay off. She sees the opening she needs, iridescent light starting to gather around her left fist. Vivio begins, "Axel-" She ducks beneath the kick, slipping inside Li's guard and bringing her fist up towards his chin in a punishing uppercut, "-SMASH!"
Li Syaoran Li Syaoran launched his assault. Unfortunately, his ability to see into the future was only a split second. He realized the blow was coming only a moment before it would land. He couldn't stop it. Instead, he rolled with it. The blow hit his chin and he was sent flying into the air, tumbling. The crowd roared. He was down, he was... bruised, battered, but not out. He held out his left hand. "Heed thy call! Wind, help me!" he said. The wind picked up and sent him flying right at her. and... As he flew, he drew his blade, gripping it firmly in both hands. The wind pushing him right at her as he fell down. Then...

"Heed thy call! Lightning!" Lightning coursed through his blade as he launched at her, swinging the sword at her full bodily, the electricity flowing off it and erupting around them.
Guest Vivio     Vivio watches with interest as Li draws both his sword and upon the elements again. Her eyes watched with mild fascination as the lightning danced across the blade. A fine combination of abilities. But, enough admiring... Vivio acts. Possibly in the manner that Li least expects...

She raises her hand, catching the sword in her grip.

Electricity courses through Vivio, even as magical light flares inside her closed hand, keeping the charged blade from simply slicing through her gloves and into flesh beneath. Vivio grits her teeth at the pain of the energy flowing through her, doing her best to push it out of her mind.

Vivio pulls the blade closer to her along with its user. As she raises her hand towards Li, a spell circle appears on the ground beneath her and an orb of iridescent light appears in her palm, which she attempts to press against Li's chest, crying out, "DIVINE BUSTER!"

Li should feel honoured! Very few people have felt the touch of Vivio's Divine Buster at so close a range. Suffice it to say, it's not a very pleasant one. The huge amount of magical energy errupts from Vivio's palm, flaring out to such a large degree that it rips into the arena floor below and air above alike. Had Vivio not been using non-lethal magic, such a dangerous spell at point blank range could be extremely worrysome. But as it stands, Li is likely to just receive a brief but intense burst of pain, some serious but ultimately temporary bruising, and simply get blasted away from Vivio as she releases her hold on his weapon.

As the energy from Vivio's spell fades along with the lightning that had been coursing through her, Vivio drops down to one knee, hand placed on the ground to keep her upright. She looks battered and tired, though the strained smile on her face shows that she's definitely enjoyed herself. Still, she calls out to her opponent amidst rapid breaths, "I think... We can call it... There as a draw... Yes?"
Li Syaoran Li Syaoran stared. She caught his magical jian, covered in lightning. Bare handed. That. That was impressive. He stared and then his eyes went wide before she called out the name. Then the boom. He was sent flying back, his sword flying to embed itself into the ground besides him.

He slowly crawls to his knees, gripping the sword. He was coveered in bruises, his clothes were a little torn and he slowly started to get up, putting weight on the sword when he did it. He then, with difficulty, drew it out.

He walked towards her, lifting his sword up. Oh shoot, was he going to... nope. He sheethed it and held out his hand. "Good... match. A draw sounds fine."

He was putting on a brave face. The moment he was away from the crowd he was going to collapse in a tub of ice water.
Guest Vivio     Vivio accepts the hand with a friendly smile, pulling herself up to stand again before shaking it. Vivio says, "That... Was... Incredible!" Vivio is now grinning, her eyes sparkling with so much life and energy despite the fact that she'd just been seriously battered in a close match.

Releasing her hold on Li's hand, Vivio looks at him with some admiration, going on to say, "You'll do well out there in the wide Multiverse!" She giggles quietly, "And that you're worthy to stand beside Sakura~"

Vivio takes a deep breath before saying, "Chris, mode release." The plush bunny floats down and nods to Vivio in acknowledgement. She briefly glows with a bright light before it fades away into sparkles, leaving Vivio back in her normal child form.

Vivio looks up at Li with a smile and says, "I definitely think we'll be good friends! And if you ever want another match, just ask~"
Li Syaoran Li Syaoran nodded, his cheeks turning a bit red. He then turned away. "Yeah... stand besides her..." He muttered softly. "Not yet." He turned and started to walk away. "You're pretty powerful as well, Vivio-chan. I look forward to fighting besides you. And... I'll likely have to take you up on that offer." He walked towards the exit with a bit of a limp.

"But there are still more people I need to test myself against. More... challenges I still need to fight. I still have a long way to go. And... being friends would be fine. You seem like you'll be a strong and capable ally." He had to stop by the wall, putting his arm on it. Ow. Ow ow ow. Oh my gosh he hurt so bad. Ow. A long, long soak.
Guest Vivio     Vivio waves goodbye to Li before heading towards another exit, ready to head home and tell her mother all about what happened. But then she yawns... Okay, maybe the gossiping can wait until the morning. Right now sleep sounds like a better idea.
