Athela Valemore For all the social issues and shadowy forces it had lurking around, Bayern was not the worst place one could visit. Being set firmly admist the medival ages meant it was still full of natural wonder and beauty instead of having to contend with the intrusion of heavily industrialization. Conveniently the warp gate leads to the coastal shoreline as it is, greeting one with a pristine view of clear water and slightly salty sea breezes as gentle currents lap water against the beach. A seaside town and lighthouse can be seen farther to the north, and a sailing era ship or two slipping along the horizon.

The young Knight of Keldeo is not hard to find either. Athela sits atop of a small formation of seaside rocks, one foot resting down against a stone to keep herself steady so she can prop her sword against the knee while rubbing down the blade with a rag, humming some working shanty to herself softly.
Isabelle Mercer     That scathing letter that was delivered to her is still fresh in her mind, a frown upon her face as she heads towards the warpgate to Bayern. She spoke up on the Union channels about wanting to get more control over her powers and even more so, her capabilities to help the Union. With Athela's chiming in on things, what did she have to lose? She sounded well trained and noble, just the perfect person to learn from!

Stepping through the gate, she takes a good breath of air, the sea's wash and the air around her giving her a nostalgic feeling of France. Though, with a look around, she spies the Knight. Isabelle brushes her hair to the side, those twin tails swaying with the wind... "You're Athela, correct?"
Athela Valemore Noble in heart, sure. Pity most of her world only cares for the noble via bloodlines.

Athela looks up when she hears her name. "That is I." She stands partway up upon the rocks, tucking the rag away in a pouch and turning the sword to sheath it at her side. She takes a few light steps to get down from the outcropping, then pauses to sweep an arm up in front of herself and make an appropriate bow in greeting. "Dame Athela Valemore, Knight-Errant of the Sword of the Tides, Tide Caller of Keldeo." Then pulls herself back upright. "You must be Isabelle then, yes?"
Isabelle Mercer     Isabelle gives a bit of a nod, smiling. Her briefcase is set down near one of the rocky outcropping and she gives a bow in return. "I am, thank you. Such a beautiful place here, isn't it?" she does listen to the Knight-Errant's introduction and nods, "A knight, huh? May I ask what a Tide Caller is, and a Keldeo?" she questions, looking at the sea some and then back at Athela.

"Ah, but it's a pleasure to be in front of a Knight, I look forward to what you can teach me, Lady Athela." she gives a brief smile and stretches a bit, "So what is it that you would like me to do?"
Athela Valemore "It is, yes. I grew up on these shores," Athela replies as she turns to look out and the low rolling waves as well. A little shift in stance as she brings one hand up, and a few tiny dribbles of watery energy swirls briefly around her fingers. "Tide Caller is what the locals call those whom can manipulate the element of Water. That are not Pokemon, that is. Keldeo is the Legendary, one of the godly beings of this worlds, and guardian of the seas and waterways." She keeps the short exposition simple for someone whom would not understand all the intricate details.

She pauses for a moment, staring out thoughtfully at the water. And resist the habit of wanting to correct others about that title. In Bayern she was only considered a Dame as she lacked a formal nobility or order to serve; but the rest of the Multiverse prefered 'Lady' regardless and she had come to simply accept it as such.

"Well." Then turns her gaze back to Isabelle. "That depends on what you can do, and what you want to be able to do."
