Nobeard     Well, there's an upside and a downside to answering the distress call. Thing is, the dwarven citadel is in space. Wildspace. Air isn't so much a problem because, well, Wildspace has some weird physics that give even people a little bit of air, though only for a couple hours at most. Thing is, you gotta GET there, and the citadel is in space as mentioned. This is going to make it difficult for people without a ship.

The good thing is there are ships! Aside from Nobeard's ship, the One-Eyed Jack, which is on approach, there is also a Spelljamming vessel on the ground, at the settlement in question. This is where the distress call is coming from! It is, however, a settlement of minotaurs, which are frantically hammering together the ship. A couple of grizzled, greying minotaurs are gearing up, swinging ancient axes and the like, and prepping to get onto the ship. Looks like these are the... spacefarers?
Alexis Maaka     SPACE

Maaka luckily doesn't have a problem with air either way, as her suit seals up hermetically and feeds in O2 once the Spectre's cargo bay opens up. "I recognize that ship." She says, pointing out at the One-Eyed Jack, before she heads toward the massive citadel, and she orders the ship to angle towards the Citadel directly, hailing the other ship by radio. "Ahoy! What the hell am I looking at here?" She asks over broadband.
Rory White It's now a very good thing that Rory saw fit to start deploying relay satellites in the places she did, or she might not have gotten the signal as early as she did.

Space ripples and brilliantly flares as a fairly sizable ship drops out of FTL! The COGNIZANT ODYSSEY as it identifies itself over multiple IFF methods, is categorized as a research and humanitarian aid vessel. Roughly a hundred meters long, with powerful thrusters at the aft and a rather obvious bridge at the fore. Cargo bay doors on the lower sides of the ship's midsection, and the whole thing unfolds a variety of antennas, dishes, comm arrays shortly after it decelerates and begins establishing orbit.

It doesn't take long for Rory White's AIs to locate the citadel or plot an intercept. It will take a while, as space travel tends to. With her FUSION ENGINES though... less time than one would expect.

The Cognizant Odyssey slips into orbit, taking a course that brings it precariously maintaining slightly higher altitude without drifting too far away.

Sure, she might be able to get a lot closer, but...

"Um." 'Dwarven Citadel,' the message had said.

Now that the Cognizant Odyssey is in decent proximity, she's not so sure she wants to get ANY CLOSER to such a ridiculous... that thing IS a spaceship, right?

Well, it's getting PELTED BY HER SCANNERS.

The Odyssey's Cargo bay doors open, giving anyone who's decided to come along an opportunity to grab hold of some box-shaped Automechs equipped with vector thrusters running on monopropellant. These drones aren't exactly designed for passengers, but they can guide people to... well... the most obvious way into this bearded monstrosity.

Vacsuits are provided, but the local space seemingly doesn't have any environmental issues to worry about? Wildspace is weird indeed.

"... that thing... is... stunning. Terrifying. Something. The eyes make me uncomfortable."

Of course. OF COURSE. It would take a FREAKISHLY designed spaceship to unnerve Rory White. A Spaceship with a big bearded face. Not an actual person with a beard.

A.G.I. Aesthetics is also weird indeed.
Laer     Getting there wasn't really a problem for Laer, but she didn't have her own ship. As such, she'll have to negotiate an arrival there, one that she's totally willing to share with any other Confederates who want to come along with her.

"Don't worry. These people are all fond enough of me to invite me along." Will be her reassurance from their own Citadel before a shimmering portal opens to the One-Eyed Jack, the elf stepping through first. There's a solid twenty seconds or so before it'll close behind her, plenty of time to get through.

"Hello!" Laer will yell once she's through, carefully fastening an eye patch over her eye. She does have to fit the part, after all.
Lyria Mason Lyria Mason had hitched a lift from Alexis and grabbed a quick and dirty space suit, some strange advance one which felt a bit more like a dive suit other but it was better than nothing as Lyria took one last moment to adjust the helmet and her movement system was ready. She was thankful the Daedalus Initiative was willing to loan her what was the term? A Vac suit, she had some experience in space before but made ready as she checked her gear one last time and seemed ready to go as she made for the teleporter pad on the ship.

"Ready to board think about the loot in there once we stop it from crashing Alexis! It's going to be a pile of fame and gil!"

She's pretty excited about that it seems and she's certainly ready as she's ever going to be.
Camilla Ulyssa     Camilla is among those who take the free ride from Laer and her contacts. A free spaceship ride is a free spaceship ride and it's a cool novelty even if it doesn't last long.

She's behind the 'pirate' as she steps through the portal, following along without complaint. She glances left and right, taking in the sights and oooohing and aaaahing at everything. She hardly fits the bill of a pirate, visually, but she'll compensate with enthusiasm and cheer.
William Pauwel     What in the hell is even this thing. Is that a beard? Is that an AXE!? What kind of monster and/or awesome person builds a thing like this? Nevermind. It doesn't matter. What does matter is that they're IN SPAAAACE. For most of these people, that's old hat, but Will is Will, and Will NEVER gets to be IN SPAAAACE, so he's understandably JUST A LITTLE BIT GIDDY.

"Hey miss Rory!" Will calls from his spot on one of the Automechs. He's in a space-suit, of course, but for some reason he's STILL WEARING HIS HAT. It's just kind of perched on the top of his helmet and held in place by some duct tape and a bunch of string. "What do y'all reckon we'll find in there?"
Melissa     Well that's one way to get in. Melissa slips through the portal carrying a rifle of some sort, figuring that the inside of a citadel is probably close quarters enough she can rely on her speed and fists. She doesn't dress up, but then wearing dragon hide armor should be good enough. "Heh. Nobeard's ship, huh? That's one I've only hear about."

... "Are we on an open deck in space? Is there a force field or something?" This really does make her curious, and she removes her helmet - her suit being sealed with air supply - to just sniff the air and peer at all the strange creatures. "Not really interested in much beyond- wow, that is one heck of a citadel."
Nobeard     Nobeard turns several eyes toward the new arrivals, the Beholder on deck for once... along with Jack, the First Mate. It's Jack who speaks, actually. "We can expect, if we're luck, gold and jewels and some equipment, maybe magical. But it looks like we have some... interference coming. The Captain prefers bloodless if possible, but hey... " Jack shrugs. They ARE pirates, and loot is loot.

Nobeard clarifies, "They should be more interested in stoppin' the citadel than messing with us. Might as well let them, eh?" It's not like it hurts to spare the settlement.

The rock is approaching quickly though. It does look to be in free fall... and it's hollow, any scanner can say. There are several methods of ingress, from the eyes to the mouth. The mouth probably being the easiest point of entry to reach.
Rory White "As a wild guess? Nothing resembling a spaceship I know of. Probably swords and gold coins? It LOOKS like something out of a fantasy game! A very... strange fantasy game. How was this even BUILT?" Rory's voice comes from the Automech. She is currently sleeved into the ODYSSEY ITSELF, taking advantage of its improved processing power and communications gear to command her small legion of drones.

One spare, clearly-robotic Synth body departs from the Odyssey carrying only a rifle and a pistol on mount points. It's a disposable bunch of hardware that she'll use for tasks that require human dexterity.

And the whole procession heads for the mouth. This may be a rough landing, depeding on whether or not the citadel has its own artificial gravity. Given the castle design Rory's fairly sure it is SUPPOSED TO. Whether it's still working or not remains to be seen...
Laer     "It's possible to make it completely bloodless if you do things right." Laer suggests, absently. "Particularly for dwarves. They mostly have very clogged arteries." Of course, she won't actually mind people trying to stop the citadel from collapsing onto the settlement, though she won't really care to help.

"Well. We should go in through the mouth, maybe. Or cut through the eyes. I can offer flight spells if anyone needs? And if you lose control then you'll probably just get crushed between the citadel and the ground when it crashes, so at least you won't die in a boring manner like suffocating!" Laer's gotten bleaker over the years, really.
Lyria Mason Lyria Mason says "No it would not hurt captain and it might grant you a port of call in return for not making it harder right? I'll leave ya to your looting then but jmight grab a little once we're done stopping the drop." She gets not everyone will want to help stop it but if they don't interfear with those stopping it? It's all good to her she semes reayd to board now and get in on stopping it from dropping. With that she's going to join those in teh attempt to stop it by getting in through the mouth...
Alexis Maaka     THe Spectre will land around the mouth of the Citadel, or at least it'll hover where everyone is gathering. Maaka hops out, her suit sealed and her EM rifle on her back. "Who knows, maybe we'll stop the thing by plundering the shit out of it and there's a 'press to avert disaster' button inside." She says, landing near NObeard and company.

She'll head to the mouth, making her way inside with night-vision on. A big ancient space ruin like this can't be too big on light, after all.
William Pauwel     "Not sure I understand entirely why somethin' in space would have things like gold coins and swords, but okay!" Will seems eager, at least! Even though, like the average puppy dog, what he has in enthusiasm he completely lacks in awareness about what to expect from the next twenty minutes. Will's cube follows Rory and Maaka into the enormous dwarven mouth, even as the thing continues its descent into apocalyptic doom.

"So uh. I'm guessing priority's probably figuring out how to keep this thing from killing us all," Will asks nobody in particular, "Right?"
Camilla Ulyssa     "Looks like it!" Camilla answers Melissa. Not that it made a difference to her-- the fox isn't wearing an ounce of space gear, relying on her usual double magical uniform setup, which handles things like no air just fine.

"I can fly, it's fine!" she tells Laer, "Eyes, mouth, as long as we get in, right? Say, what are the odds they've got some champion in there just itching for a fight and looking to stop opportunity looters?" is her question for Nobeard and Jack. Riches, she's not really interested in. A good rumble would be a lot more interesting, but she can't help but be curious what sorts of valuables are on a spaceship of that shape. Calling that a spaceship at all just feels weird, but then the One-Eyed Jack isn't that much more spaceship-looking.
Rory White "Me neither!" Rory agrees with Will, her voice gently emanating from Will's Automech. It's going to follow him and provide assistance where it can. It has a multitude of tools and utility arms, though it isn't the most graceful or mobile of machines. Stairs are going to slow it down considerably if there's gravity in there...

Rory's Synth, on the other hand, pulls up near Will. It's a skeletal monstrosity of metal with no semblance of humanity, hardly even a face. Just glowing optics and a grillplate for a mouth. Bare minimum. A low quality robot body indeed.

"Mission goals! The locals should know how to get the ship operational again and fix the orbit. However there's no telling what's aboard this ship. Why was it abandoned if it's still operational? Be on the lookout for anything. Perhaps some invasive species or rogue security systems. It's imperative the colony crew reaches their destination!"
Melissa     Melissa does have a flight system. She scowls at the whole matter, "Eh, I'm hoping they have something. Money's nice, but I'm with Camilla here. I'm kind of up for a fight." She twists about, then moves for the front of the ship. "Never met one of your kind before. Heh. Then again, the CS wouldn't really tolerate it. Nice to meet you, Captain." She's going to consider then.

"Eh. The mouth is fine. I'm a direct sort usually."
Nobeard     Mouth it is! Fortunately, everyone agrees, which is uh... amazing, for once. And the boat that is approaching with the minotaurs is also coming up fast! The pirate ship docking has them a bit worried, but with no demands being made, they're (rightly) assume that they're here for loot rather than to fight. The bullmen call out to the others, "HO! What are you doing here?" They don't actually seem... aggressive? They're all kind of old, and they have a couple dwarves with them, on the deck, with crossbows and hammers.

Of course, inside the mouth, should anyone peek in first, is a 'landing bay' full of clutter. Nothing useful so far, just... junk. Rusted metal and trash so far, with a couple passages. Nobeard is floating in, and calls out to those present, "Heh. These guys might know the way to the forge. We're all here for different reasons, but does anyone want to fight it out?"
Alexis Maaka     "Nope." is Maaka's reply, without hesitation. "I say we just tell him what's going on, ask them if there's a way to correct the Citadel's course, we get the hell outta here." SHe decides pretty quickly, before she puts her rifle on safe.

Coming out, she raises her hands. "Safety's on, don't shoot!" She calls, speaking clear and direct. "We're here because this place is on a collision course with a settlement, and it's close to impact. You guys wouldn't know how to make that not happen, would you?"

    This can't end poorly.
Lyria Mason Lyria Mason salls back to the massive bull men. "I can't speak for anyone else but I'm here to stop this station from crashing into the settlement." She might have loot plans for later for now she wants to stop it from crashing and doesn't think Nobeard and company will /take/ everything? Even if she gets letovers it's fine with her. She shifts her weight for a moment looking up at the much larger bullmen. "If your here to stop it too? We shouldn't waste time and if you know where and how I'll happy defer to you on it."
Melissa     Melissa glances at the minotaurs, shrugging her shoulders. "I'm hoping there's something to fight. Maybe a share of loot if there is. You guys don't look like the kind of person I'd want to fight." She jerks a thumb at Nobeard. "Maybe he would, but it'd be impolite to get into a spat with our ride, you know?" She looks at the others, then shoulders her rifle. "Well, nobody ever got anything done sitting and talking. Which way, my bovine boys? Let's get this over with."
Rory White Rory's remote-operated-Synth scans left. Scans right. Scans Nobeard.

My what a lot of eyeballs he has. AND HE'S FLOATING SOMEHOW. Yet one more bizarrity that the A.G.I. files away for later questioning. It's a rather fascinating-looking species... and a remarkably practical form, apart from the apparent lack of hands. Must have some other method, right...?

The robot turns towards the elderly Minotaurs and Dwarf-folk who've arrived. Its optics flash a few times and Rory's best efforts at a kind and gentle approach emanates. "Greetings! I cannot speak for the pirates, but the rest of us are answering the call for help. Unfortunately... you know how to operate the citadel better than I do, so the most I can offer is an escort, and a very iffy last resort option. My name is Rory!"
Laer     "I'm not really much for fighting tonight, but I wouldn't mind just getting some loot and then getting out." Laer will say, but she's always been the lazier sort. She'll offer something that roughly looks like it might have resembled a salute once upon a time.

Once they're in the mouth and looking around, though, she'll tsk to herself, frowning as she spots the junk all around. "...This isn't the kind of treasure I was hoping for. Did these dwarves not have a garbage disposal plan?" She'll look over towards the minotaurs and the dwarves with them, but she'll let Melissa take the lead. Because Laer doesn't really want to fight, but she'd rather someone who at least threatens one have their go.
Camilla Ulyssa     "I know, right?!" Camilla exclaims, as Melissa points out the rudeness of attacking their driver. "I'd totally pick a fight if not for that. These, uh..." She stares at the minotaurs for a bit. Bull-people, bull-people, there's some old legend about them, what are they called again... "Minotaurs! You're minotaurs, right? You don't look in your prime. Any of you actually guard a maze in your lifetime?" Why not ask and find out, right?

Either way, she's behind Melissa and lets the locals take the lead. Maybe something will come up, she's itching to unsheathe those swords. Maybe all those people who're responding. Union? Maybe. 'Heroes' either way. Usually worth the time investment of picking a fight with them.

    Things to consider.
William Pauwel     "Don't worry miss Rory. This ain't my first time wading head-first into something I've never seen before. I packed my gun, so I'm all kinds of ready!" It looks like Will's banking on whatever lives in here being vulnerable to being shot repeatedly by a plasma pistol. To be fair, that's usually a pretty safe bet. "I brought my tools, too, in case this thing's worse off than it looks."

Why ELSE would a huge stone face be falling towards a colony?

Will's supsicions seem to be (somewhat) confirmed by the welcoming wagon. A bunch of bull-men and... a bunch of short, ambulatory beards. "Oh wow, they've got these here too?" Mistaken identity!? "Howdy, y'all! We noticed yer course, and figured that there must be something wrong. What can we help y'all with?"
Nobeard     One of the older bullmen snorts, "We found some dwarves to help us get it moving. At least enough to shove it into the north where it won't hit anything important. We don't have the crew to move a vessel like this." Very articulate minotaurs! The dwarves shuffle in, glowering at Laer and Nobeard mostly.

There is unfortunatley a door in the way! Or there was. "Arr... let's see..." The minotaurs start to point, and then the door gets zapped by a green ray, vanishing in a flash of light. "That should be taking care of any traps. Let's go, eh?" He floats forward, and, well... it is actually kind of boring. Looks like the place was left in a hurry, so not even traps were set. Just junk... so far.

At least until the Forge is reached. These doors are partly open, and swing open easily. IT looks like there IS some treasure here... but the dwarves were either very busy, or had some powerful backing. A loud creaking sounds out, and from the shadows, a massive man of iron steps out, thudding into view with eyes surveying everyone who enters. Looks like all that gold - and the forge - has a guardian.
William Pauwel     "Well, ideally," Will answers with a slight frown, "We'll try to get it so it WON'T crash into the planet. I don't look like it, but I like to think of myself as something of a handyman!" Says the guy in a space-suit with a cowboy hat strapped to the helmet. "Look, can y'all show me to your... your engine room, or something? I might be able to at least delay things a bit."

Even if it means not actually facing the terrible golem-creature, or plundering so much treasure.

Will is clearly more concerned about the ~important~ task of everyone aboard this ship NOT DYING.
Rory White Rory's basic-Synth steps gingerly into the Forge section.... pausing to look around. It remains immobile even as the guardian awakens because with optics in every direction it has little need to turn its head.

If it's shaped like a man though, it might, MIGHT be intelligent. So although she readies a weapon - a rifle of Transhuman make - she does ask it, "Why were you abandoned?" An odd question to ask, but a dozen that she felt would possibly agitate or infuriate it - if it has emotions - have already been considered and discarded.

Not that this one is the best period.

Of course, if it does as she expects and simply closes to attack, she'll open fire with a few powerful armor-piercing rounds and hope for the best!
Alexis Maaka     Maaka nods to the minotaurs, before she goes towards the doorway, or what used to be a door, and heads through the opening towards the Forge entrance.

"Lot of treasure left, but-" Sadly she's cut off by the arrival of a massive statue thing, and she lifts her EM rifle promptly.

"So much for diplomacy, aim at the legs!" She calls out, firing rapid bursts at the golem thing's legs to slow it down.
Lyria Mason It seems everyone is trying to talk to thse new arrivals and she looks to them for a moment. She nods once to Pirate and the bullmnen and then moves it doesn't take long and it seems there are no traps she's actually going a bit wide eyed at hte forge guardian but out comes her pistol. She's not worrying about loot she's trying o figure out how o get past it.

"Keep the Dwarves safe they are the ones who know how to move this thing!"

She's going ot do that and she gets to work opening fire on guardian and is keeping an eye out to keep the team who know how to shut this down safe, not that she'll forsake Nobeard and his crew either.
Camilla Ulyssa     No answer? Shame. Maybe it's not polite to ask minotaurs about mazes. Or maybe it's a legend unique to her world. She wouldn't know! That's fine, though, because as they reach the Forge, they see treasure, shiny, attention-grabbing treasure. More important for Camilla, a very large man of iron, evidently here to fight. A grin spreads across her face and an aura of light surges out of her, mana just burning its way out of her and enhancing her body. It seems her drive forward is halted as people immediatly open fire, though.

"Ah, damn, what a buzzkill. It's overrun o'clock in here. Well, you guys enjoy this then, I'm going ahead!" It's with the white-ish blue aura still up that Camilla hops off the ground and flies straight ahead, over one of the golem's shoulders, past it and into the Forge. What other paths are there here? What about the treasure? Or that equipment those people came here to fix. Let's have a looksie without a guide.
Melissa     Wow. "A real golem! Nice!" Well, Mel does think it's a bit... different, considering their relative rarity in her world. The juicer cracks knuckles, and as everyone starts to open fire on the golem. Hm. Should she intervene?

Eh. They have plenty of high-powered sorts to handle this. Melissa likes this idea of Camilla's though. She dashes to the side, and on the way slams a kick toward the golem's leg, just to make it slow enough that the others can handle it. "Yeah, you guys protect the dwarves, I'll see if there's something personal in here."
Nobeard     The minotaurs are actually fine with leading, though they seem a bit grumpy. Unfortunately this is boring, at least until the golem appears. "Arr... I guess it's time te see our separate ways." The beholder blasts off another disintegrate at the golem, but while it hurts, it doesn't seem to actually disintegrate. Then he vanishes in a shimmering door, appearing on the opposite side and heading for the treasure room with the Feds. Because why not?

That isn't to say the others are left without help. Melissa's kick staggers the golem, making it slump to one knee thanks to her strength, and then the bullets and AP rounds start to pelt it. The EM rifle... doesn't seem to hurt that much, but it does notably slow the thing's movements, making its attempt to stand move at a crawl.

Meanwhile the dwarves are hurrying while the minotaurs all cluster around, taking quick steps in to chip away at the slowed golem while others are peppering it with bullets. This is keeping it busy while the dwarves begin the process of lighting up the forge, with muttering between them.

Camilla and Melissa will encounter... well, the treasure room? Not a whole lot of artifacts, sadly, but some very nicely-made furniture and jewelry, and a fair amount of gold is to be had. Of course the two stone golems rousing and creaking up, fists already lifting to pound the intruders, might be of some concern.
Alexis Maaka     Okay, okay, EM rounds aren't doing a thing to this golem. Maaka swears as she tries to load up her rifle's undermounted launcher with a high-explosive round, taking aim at the Golem. "Everyone get clear, firing!" She calls out, before the launcher issues a meaty THUMP as a 40mm round arcs towards the golem's knee.
Rory White "Enchanted.... solid construction. Incredibly dense, no vital organs, no apparent power source.." Rory White looks the golem over, searching for... perhaps an exposed jewel, or something else that screams 'shoot me. If so, well. SHE SHOOTS. Otherwise, well... more of the same. Its down and being pulverized. Which, she figures, is probably the only way you can deal with an ambulatory hunk of rock.

"Even high explosives might do little... laser heat weaponry might be the only decent option!" And she didn't BRING laser or plasma weaponry with her, dang it all!
Lyria Mason Lyria Mason keeps bouncing about now firing as she goes, she knows it be a bad idea to fight up close, but she does get an ide she shifts one of her two guns to lightning and the other to ice as she lays down the fire on the nearest of the golems to see if she can find if they have an element they are weak too, or she may have to bust out the Geomacey at this rate.
Camilla Ulyssa     "Stone, really? I feel shafted. Do you feel shafted?" Camilla asks towards Melissa, though at least it's two on two, not a million on one. Still better odds of getting a fight this way. She sizes them up, considers their strength. At least strong enough to move their bodies. Solid rock, that tall and wide. Not too hard to get an idea of the minimum amount of punch they can pack. Maximum, she'll find out the hard way.

One of her two blades comes out of the large, mechanical sheath hanging behind her. With a smooth but flat male voice, the blade intones: <Oh, are we actually doing this? Are we going to smash me against a big rock without any respect to the fact I'll have a headache?>
"Well for once we'll BOTH have one then, not just me."
<You have no respect for your peers.>
"You're a god damn pair of swords."
<I'm the most advanced Machina, thank you.>
    "Whatever! Too late, engaging!"

The blade comes up, halting the fists of one of the golems with a thunderous clash. It doesn't look pleasant-- arms and legs buckle under the impact, but Camilla just grins wider, pushing through the pain. "Heh! Mars, spin the wheel of fate." Her blade flashes, runes spinning on its surface like the tri-columns of a slot machine until a trio stop and carve themselves into the metal.

<Your fate is sealed: continuous wind beam.>

One moment the blade gathers green light, causing the wind to pick up. In a ship that might be odd. The next, Camilla slashes, backs away and points the tip of the edge forward towards her golem. A two meters wide beam of green light shoots out, wind-elemental and without restraint. And it... keeps going. And going. Up to thirty seconds, unless knocked out of it or given a reason to stop. She can keep aiming at the golem if it dodges, that way.
Melissa     Strong as stone is good. IT'll give Mel something to work with. The juicer chuckles, crushing the floor with the kick off she does to unge at hers. "Yeah, one for each of us. You should think about a less tempermental weapon," she teases. Not that she expects it to be heeded. After all, personality counts for a lot, right?

WEll, stone doesn't have much personality. Melissa doesn't waste time with her blaster rifle or whatever it is that thing on her back shoots, she just lunges forward, with a quick series of precise strikes, aiming at the joints of the golem to crumble it quickly. Just punches, nothing more.
Nobeard     No need to bust out bigger guns. A 40mm round and the blasts from the firepowre are... well, actually pretty good. IT's actually good that plasma and fire weren't used, as iron golems are pretty durable against those. Instead, the assault just chips away atthe staggered creation, making it lurch forward, swinging powerful fists, and batting a minotaur aside! ... before crashing to the floor, allowing the dwarves and minotaurs to drag it into the furnace to melt down and start crafting. The citadel shudders to life as the 'engines' start, somehow fueling energy into it. A very strange thing to fuel a ship!

In the treasure room, things are a bit more chaotic. Melissa's punches make the stone golem crumple, powdered dust flying everywhere. A wild swing tries to catch her, but it's really outmatched. These guardians are fairly tough, for mid-level adventurers... but Melissa and Camilla are pretty 'high level' as these things go. Camilla's takes a bit longer, but the stream of wind staggers it and ERODES the monstrous stone, making it stumble back, then start to crumble. Unfortunately, the gold coins are also caught up, a spray scattering them and wedging many deep into the stone walls, where they'll take a lot of effort to extract... and time that the group may not have before they need to leave to avoid atmospheric re-entry.
Alexis Maaka     Coins go EVERYWHERE, and the golem goes down thanks to ordinance and super attacks! Maaka feels coins streak across her armor, leaving shallow little scratches across carbon fiber triweave plates and damaging the cloth material in between each plate. She winces, trying to pry a coin wedged in her side out, before she pockets it. Waste not, want not right?

"Okay, who's go the Forge, then?" She asks, writing off the chance at any good loot today. She sighs, taking some solace in the option of at least averting a collision as she begins to approach the forge with purpose.

Then she realizes she has no idea what to make. "Uh...anybody know how to make this work?"
William Pauwel     Suddenly, there is SOMEONE THERE. It's Will! Where the heck has he even been? He sure wasn't shooting at the golem, because there's definitely been a noticable dearth of plasma shots streaking through the air. "Hey! I decided to take a look around," Will says, cheerfully. He appears to have found a whole bevy of miscellaneous parts, and a couple boxes worth of tools.

"Oh, I think I could probably figure somethin' out! Just uh. Give me a bit," he says, hopping back into what looks like a panel in the floor, "Trying to make sure we don't... plummet to our doom or anything like that."
Lyria Mason Lyria Mason has some experiance with magic givne her world runs on the force of magic and not science. They have gunned down the Golem and she's not looking for loot now the needs to start up the ship. She'll move to try and help get them more fuel for the fire, they need to change which way this is falling so it doesn't hit the settlement right but how are they going to get off.

"Anyone got an idea how to get off when we're done? I might be able to mange something with mey Geomancy if we get umm what's the term out of space, but once we're in the air I might be able to help us surive leaping out but that's a last resort."
