Gaonoir "I'm pretty sure he's not here anymore." Gaonoir grumbled to himself as he perched on top of a thankfully closed dumpster. He knew Dukemon had already left for some other era, but Erika was insistant to look for herself. She did actually listen to him and not try to tag along last night, so he was at least humoring. "Unless your little gizmo is picking up something I'm not."

"Nope, not a thing." Erika shook her head as she looked up from the digivice. "But better to look and not find anything, than not look and miss something~"

Gaonoir just rolled his eyes as she tried to spin it positively again. "Yeah, whatever." He hopped down from the dumpster and started to walk back towards the main stretch of Urbania. "Let's just go get something to eat."
Alden Urbania seemed a nice and familiar enviorement for the now more doglike digimon by now, after all, he visited a few times!. This was one of such times, wanting to eat something besides the meat from his orchard!. And thus, Alden and Katze set off in an amazing adventure in search for junk food!. The pair walk around casually towards the nearest food area, not really paying much attention to their surroundings.
Gaonoir Erika emitted a small huh as the digivice in her hand did start to beep again. "Hey, it picked up something after all!" Then she actually looked at the screen only to see it was detecting a familiar digital signal. "Oh, it's"

"Alden," Gaonoir finishes, making a scrunching face. "The X data has a very distinct... scent to it." It technically wasn't a smell his senses picked up on, but that was the closest approximation a human would understand. "Now about that foo--" Gaonoir cuts himself off by slapping a gloved paw to his face when Erika prances off in the direction of the other digimon. "Why do I bother..."

"Hi Alden~!" Cue one of the girl's surprisingly strong for her light build hugs.
Alden At teh same time, Alden perks his ears, "A digimon is nearby." he mumbles, looking around a few times, before suddenly realizing who it was!. He was already on his way to the pair when Erika decided to get closer. The now fuzzy gabumon all but pounces on the tamer, giving her a friendly hug, "Erika!" he chirrs happily, wagging his tail, "How have you been?" he asks. Of course, Alden is relatively different now, he has a bushy tail!. Katze meanwhile waves to the human, smiling.
Gaonoir "Things have been fairly quiet lately." At least this digimon doesn't complain about being hugged. The pounce just makes it easier to catch hm and do so! This lasts for a few moments before Erika sets him back down.

"Other than a brief chitchat with Dukemon last night," Gaonoir adds, going back to his usual social dourness. "He's having... issues. Probably because of how that new form contradicts itself." Probably not, but he's at least polite enough to bring up what's really going on.
Alden The fuzzy gabumon nods a few times and rumbles contently, smiling to Erika, "Glad to know things are okay, I don't have much to tell myself, beyond being kind of turned into the ambassador of my digital world, ugg." he mumbles. He rubs his head, before turning to Gao, moving to the dogmon and offering a hand, "I'm glad to see you as well." he says, smiling softly, before tilting his head, "New form?" he asks.
Gaonoir "I think he means how trying to scan it made my digivice go all screwy."

"Kinda, yeah." Gaonoir... huffs softly, but since Alden didn't try to annoyingly hug him does grab with his own glove paw and shake it lightly. "His X form is somehow a virus -and- a vaccine type. It's... not suppose to be possible." He shrugs a little at that. "But then again, neither is this." He jabs a thumb in Erika's direction. "At least not where I'm from."

"So... he's like a Jeckle/Hyde type deal now?" Erika chimes in.

"... If we had any idea what that was." Oi, nerds. Can't just say things like normal people.
Alden Alden nods a few times, listening to the answer, "That must be really confusing... I am still unused to the change, even if I have to admit I somehow feel like... this feels right." he murrmurrs, smiling at the shake, appreciating the gesture. "I haven't tried to do much with it since that fight... had some odd glitches and been affraid to try to use attacks or digivolve much." he says. He tilts his head at the reference, "I hope he can make sense of things."
Gaonoir "Yeah, glitches." We'll just leave it at that for now. Duke has enough issues with what's going poking around his head right now... and why Gaonoir even -cares- still confuses even himself, but whatever.

Instead he walks a few paces around Alden, looking his more wolf-like form over. "At least you don't seem to be as scrambled as Golden is. But... it's almost like there's still something missing." He shrugs his shoulders. "Something the X-Antibody can't just fill? I don't know. I wasn't made to analyze these things."

"That's what I'm for!" Erika adds way more ethusiastically than was probably needed.
Alden The gabumon stands still, letting Gao walk around, his tail giving a few flicks, wagging steadily. "Indeed." he rumbles, before letting out a sigh, "I hope Golden is Ok." he adds for a moment, turning around to glance at Erika, "I feel better, maybe I'll adjust and the glitches will stop?, but, I do realize that I am not completely fine, otherwise, that D-Ark would be a paperweight, without Daichi around to use it."
Gaonoir "Maybe that's what's missing yet." Erika kneels down to pat the shinki on the head. "Not that Katze isn't doing a good job. And Golden said he needs to get his Crest back."

"Might help. If it was an actual part of hi--" Pause. Then Gaonoir narrows his eyes a little. "--Don't tell me you didn't already volunteer."

"He asked if the digivice might be able to locate it! I said it was worth trying, that's all!" Erika replies in a fluster.

A drawn out sigh is the only response she gets.
Alden The gabumon smiles, "I'd like to help as well, but I don't even know what the crests are." he mumbles, rubbing his chin, "So I am not sure I would track one." he admits.
He turns to Gaonoir, "I can tag along, if that might help?" he tells the poor Gaonoir, his tail wagging.
Katze leans into the pat, and jumps on Erika's shoulder, "I am the best digimon trainer!" she exclaims. "If by training you mean trying to make me do stuff for you, like in that talent show."
Gaonoir Gaonoir hmphs, crossing his arms. "He'd probably appreciate the help... and you'd be better off asking him to explain. I just know it's something that's an important part of him."

Well that's not entirely true, but Gaonoir doesn't feel inclined to get into elaborate details when there's a more direct source available to ask some time.

"Other than that, practice. Think of it as a new evolution. The only way you'll learn what it can do is use it."
Alden Alden nods again, stretching a bit as he looks around, "Fair enough, I just haven't seen him in a while." he explained, before smiling, "Perhasp we should spar again sometime." he says, "If you think you are up to it!." he says with a grin, "I think I have better aim now.".
Gaonoir Gaonoir shrugs. "You can probably still use the work out." He starts to say something about part of what he was made for was fighting X-digimon, but instead just hffs softly and ambles back over to Erika's side. "Just don't feel bad if I beat you again." Actually wasn't it more of a stalemate last time? Granted, that was between three of them. Two on two might be different. Or it might not.
Alden Alden chuckles, "I won't, I know you are strong, and I can call my friends over, if you think they might make things more even." he says with a grin.
Gaonoir "If you're that worried about being too easy." And Gaonoir has gone back to being his usual self. Tch, he just can't let go of that tough guy act yet. He gives Erika's an arm a tug before starting to wander away. "Com'n, I'm hungry."

"Oh, right... Uh, stay away from that barbeque buffet." She rubs a hand on the back of her head. "They didn't take very well to Golden almost eating them out of business."

"Pfff. You'd think with all the saiyans around they'd use that as a marketing strategy instead."
Alden The digimon laughs, "All you can eat is a lie." he says playfully, smiling to Gaonoir, "Ok, well, see you soon for that fight, and take care you two!" he offers with a grin, giving Erika another hug, because... why not!.
