Yunomi Stadler THE CHARRED LIBRARY -- NIVIX -- RAVNICA

"I've got this feeeeelin' it's in my bones -- it goes electric, wavy when you turn it on. All through my citaaaaay all through my home. It's goin' up no ceilin' when we in our zone~" Croons a radio tuned to somewhere's Top 40, and Yunomi is taking a little time to refamiliarize herself.

She has a staff in hand, drawing it up and in a slow arc around her as she stretches her limbs. She's wearing just a pair of sweats and a sports top, showing the various scars on her arm, along witht he long, healing injury on her left forearm, slightly discolored from the Simic taking a look at it to figure out just WHAT was used on her.

"I've got that Sunshine in my pocket -- I've got that good song in my feet--" the song continues, and Yunomi goes through her forms, spinning the staff around herself, twirling it and bringing it to a stop in a blow against an imaginary enemy, but she's in high spirits. She's moving with the regular familiarity with her body again, the tiredness from the events of last mouth finally beginning to wash from her bones.
Rhapsody     Finally, time for everyone to relax. Time to reflect. Time to just not have to worry about all the pressures of the guild. It was -liberating- to be able to walk around the halls of Nivix and Thirix and know that those within the spires were, hopefully, just having a good time. With all the paperwork needed to get so much time off, done in tandem by Rhapsody, Thianel, and anyone else that wanted to help, the vacation actually came a week earlier than expected! Wonderful thing, that.

Random steps had led to a set of doors that the guildmaster hadn't set eyes on in months. She recalled a magewright coming to her to mention that one of the doors had been defaced, broken down, and immidiately had it repaired. That was weeks, ago, though. Now, the sound of a rather energetic tune is wafting from the charred library and it has caught her attention.

Almost like a cartoon, the dragon's head peeks around the doorframe first, peeking in, smiling at what is beheld. This was a sight so needed that if she had -any- dark emotions clouding her for whatever reason, this had dispelled them.
Yunomi Stadler     Watching Yunomi work through kata to pop music can lift many a weary soul.

Yunomi herself doesn't appear to realize she has a watcher, sliding one calloused foot along the charred and smooth floorboards as she ducks low, bending to one knee, her hair loosened and flying behind her as she moves, and then springs backwards and up, using the tip of the bo as a vault to send her airborne before coming down to the ground, sending a scattering of dust as she comes down -- and it's apparent why her breathing might be a little weird.

She's singing along "I got this feein' in my boooodaaaaay o/`"
Rhapsody     R.I.P. meloncholy emotions. Why did Rhapsody have any to begin with? Probably some random thought that made her wonder about some other random thing, but thanks to this? Gone, and probably never to be remembered. It wasn't that important! Her head slips away from the sight seen, she considers how to wander in, considers not wandering in at -all-, but no. This was the first chance for a bit of quality time Rhapsody had found in a while. Not to say Thanksgiving was bad, but that was a lot of new people all at once! This was.. different. A breath, a content exhale, and then she slips fully into the doorway and knocks on it,

        *Knock Knock*
        "Hellooooo?" Smile.
Yunomi Stadler     Luckily, Yunomi was on the ground. She hops up her hair wrestling itself into a ponytail before she turns to face RHapsody, and her lips purse. She raises her eyebrows, and gives a wry little grin before she reaches with the staff and hits the 'pause' button on the player.

"Hey, Rhaps." she grins as she greets the Guildmaster, leaning a bit on the staff. "... so. AH. I was just... practicing. You know. Keepin' the ol' skills sharp."
Rhapsody     "Nothing wrong with that, just as long as you remember one word, Yunomi. Vacaaaaaaaation." Another smile, and then she'd wander on into the room, "I have to admit, its been a good while since I've been in here. Glad to see it back in use again. Training, katas, singing," she says, tagging the last word on after a moment's pause. "All wonderful things," she adds, attempting to diffuse any shyness, if any, about participating in the quite-energetic tune.
Yunomi Stadler     Yunomi gives a soft snerking sound through her nose, and a laugh. "Yeah, well, I figure after introducing you to my grandparents at Thanksgiving, you might need some space. Table settings aren't made for dragons, and... I don't think dad expected me to introduce you to Pops and Gram as my girlfriend." Yunomi admits, giving a smart bow to RHapsody, but straightening up quickly, keeping her eyes on the dragon. "And yeah, vacation, but danger doesn't sleep."
Rhapsody     The bow is returned before the guildmaster slips back to simply standing, tail idly swaying behind her in that new trenchcoat. Color change! "I think everyone was a bit surprised, but I enjoyed every moment of it. Especially that turkey, absolutley divine. . . I don't have a lot to judge from though. I think that may have been the first one." A light nod is given to the trailing thought, "Mm.. no, it never does. That's why we have allies, though! Aurelia was kind enough to lend some Wojek patrols during our break, some skyriders, and so on. I imagine the League will have to repay that favor soon enough, but I can't even imagine the Boros ever even wanting to go on a vacation."
Yunomi Stadler     "The Boros are anathema to vacation, kind of like the Senate. SPeaking of which, the Kodama have unilaterally voted that we should paint their pillars on their main library bright pink with sparkles by Easter." she jokes, and she taps her side, taking out a scroll and unfurling it. "Also there are some of O-Hiko's children who would like to apply to join the Guild, and report that the shantytown is now a second Namamura District, though it is Yokai. They ask for permission to formally have the district named Ryuumura."
Rhapsody     A blink. Paperwork. AUGH. Wait no, this paperwork is fine. "Well. We can see about that pillar a little closer to the holiday." Serious? Teasing? WHO KNOWS! "As for O-Hiko's area, I'd be delighted to let them rename their .. home.." she trails a little, hearing the name. Considering how much research her father did on his kin in the multiverse, she recognizes at least half of the name that was suggested. "I wholly aprove that name.." She may be thinking that the Yokai are thinking of Niv and not a certain other guildmaster.
Yunomi Stadler     "In honor of the dragons who have served the Izzet as guildmaster, they wish to rename the village to the Ryuumura -- which basically means 'dragon village' district. Kinda like how Namamura means 'River village'." Yunomi gives a small grin, and she shrugs, "and it sounds far more friendly than 'spider village' or 'shanty town'." Yunomi replies and she rubs the back of her head.
Rhapsody     Oh. OH. Now she understands it the way it is meant to be understood. "Ah haha, that's.. very kind of them," Rhapsody muses, rubbing at the back of her own neck. "I'd happily sign off on that, and any one down there that wishes to join the Izzet. They can serve more as scouts and surveyors, and if any of them feel they really do have a flair for science, well, who am I to stop them?"
Yunomi Stadler     "Good, good... because Meeko was totally trying to sneak in when she got caught by one of the weirds. Her shapeshifting isn't that good yet." she ofers as a joke, leaning against a window, peering out of it. "Looks like rain again." she states, and rubs her left forearm, nails lightly grazing over the scar.
Rhapsody     "She can shape shift? Ahahahaha, that's wonderful!" There's a slight hint of nervousness in that laugh. Arachnophobes of the Izzet beware! Rhaps will have to get over -that- fear pretty soon. When she settles from that news, the dragon blinks, glances over, and then hrms, "How's the arm?" she had basically -insisted- that the Simic take a look at it at one point or another.
Yunomi Stadler     "Well, yes, I mean, the --" Yunomi pauses, and she glances down at the arm, and then slides it behind her back as she tries to steer the subject back.

"So, you're afraid of spiders?" Yunomi questions, her eyebrows rising up as her li ps purse. "If I'd known, I wouldn't have brought you down to meet O-Hiko's children with such a... cavileer attitude."
Rhapsody Starts waiving her hands, "No no no no! It's fine! I had an idea of what I was getting into just going down into the undercity toward greener lands, so, it's ok! I'm .. getting better about it," she insists, though she did notice how the arm went from attention to hidden. Mm. "You know, I don't hold any of it against you, right? You don't have to hide it.."
Yunomi Stadler     "It's not that." Yunomi begins, and then she looks at the scars, and frowns. "Yeah, it's that. I feel a little like I was forgiven too easily. I mean, yeah, I died, but I came back thinking there was going to be trials, punishments... not... vacations because you found the stupid red notebook of wishy-washiness." Yunomi replies dryly, and she sits on the windowsill, leaving plenty of room to Rhapsody to join her.

"This wound was killing me. I only lived so long because I dug a red-hot iron knife into it to try and cauterize the infection. I lost the use of the hand entirely, but I know that if I gave in and just died... that there was a chance you would die. And I couldn't rest in peace with that idea." Yunomi admits quietly.
Rhapsody     The guildmaster listens, going silent, but taking the open space on the windowsill. "Everyone here refused to listen to Ijiwaru, but on the other hand, I don't think any of us knew that you were in so much danger.. well, not danger from an infection, I suppose. We were worried Ijiwaru would find you first, but none of us knew about the wound you had." If allowed, Rhaps would slip an arm around the tanuki's shoulders, glancing down at the scars.

"You're here, though. Why wouldn't we forgive you? What you saw, what you knew was going on, you gave -everything- to protect Ravnica, the Izzet, -me-, and your innocence was proven through Ijiwaru's actions at the end, the Dimir showing themselves." A pause, then she just looks over at Yunomi, "I can -never- thank you enough for what you did, Yunomi. Whatever Niv-Mizzet did for you... you earned it."
Yunomi Stadler     "ANd for your beleif I am thankful. I couldn't have pulled any of it off without that." Yunomi gives an uneasy smile, buyt lets Rhaps wrap and arm around her as she leans into the dragon, looking down into her hhand a moment, curling her fingers and then turning her head and just resting it against Rhapsody's shoulder.

"He sent me back to you." she states, firmly, against the jacket. "For that I will be eternally grateful, because I would give everything again for you."
Rhapsody     A firm snug is given as Yunomi leans in, and then Rhapsody's head would settle down atop Yunomi's. "You and him are the most important people in my life, Yunomi. I think by now, you know it, and I can promise he knows it... he did send a gift back with you, for me.." she muses, thinking about the scales running down head and neck. "I hope you never have to go so far ever again. And my faith will -never- faulter.."
Yunomi Stadler     Yunomi gives a bright smile, and her arm rises up, wrapping them both the best she can around Rhapsody.

"He knows." Yunomi replies quietly. "Why else would he have sent me back?" she jokes, "You would have shown up there if we were both there!"
Rhapsody     That gets a smile, "I won't deny the thought crossed my mind, I think if I had tried there would have been about 20 people making sure I wouldn't get anywhere near the Window!" She'd rather not go into how she wanted to go right over to the Senate and burn it to the ground. "I'm so glad you found him, Yunomi. I'm glad he helped you back. Hopefully," she trails a little, the end of the sentence pretty obvious, "Someday.."
Yunomi Stadler     "No Hopefully." Yunomi states, and she straightens. She brings her hands up to either side of Rhapsody's face, and she gently rubs her hands there. "Someday. He /will/ return." Yunomi breathes, and she then just hugs Rhapsody again.

"Just... don't go off in a big rush. The Blinding Eternities nearly ripped me apart. If I lost you, I don't know what I would do."
Rhapsody     The guildmaster's eyes end up locked on Yunomi's. The determination, the -will-, maybe not tears, but there's a glistening that hints at just the amount of weight the words carry. When the hug comes again, she replies it tightly, "I won't. I would follow you anywhere if I needed to, but that place is a realm I dare not step into.." A sigh, a hug is continued, "But .. yes. Not 'if only..' instead, -we- -shall-."
Yunomi Stadler     "That's right." Yunomi states gently. She takes a deep breath. She lets it out slowly, and then she draws back, and presses a soft kiss to the end of Rhapsody's muzzle. "It'll come to pass. At the darkest hour, when all things seem lost, when our spires and bridges and the very bonds that bind us together seem threatened, that the mountains will tremble, the skies will rain fire, and together we will make the worlds stop. All eyes of Ravnica will look to us, and we will look to /him/." Yunomi whispers, quiet enough that it seemed like it was meant only for Rhapsody to hear.
Rhapsody     If only that moment could last, but the guildmaster settles into it, eyes closing for the moment, only opening when Yunomi speaks again. "...And he'll finally find his way back to us.." she whispers back, overjoyed at the moment and the thought combined. "Thank you.." she says even -more- quiet that a moment earlier. "We -will-."
