Yari Takane The restaurant that Yari has chosen for this little gathering of newly minted Concordites is akin to a high end japanese teahouse with a full spa and bath slapped in for those particularly indulgent. That's not Yari's aim, however, at least while she's meeting with her new allies. No, she's rented a good chunk of one section of the restaurant area, a large table set out with plenty of room for maps and other diagrams on one end, and already festooned with various local sushi-like edibles. There's a menu as well, and sake aplenty.

Yari, dressed in a midnight blue kimono with one arm free over mesh armor, has her hair tied up in a ponytail as she awaits her fellows. A parade-shined gunblade sits at her side, peacewrapped out of respect.

For now, the ninja-soldier simply waits, legs crossed and tail flicking as she idly samples some of the food with chopsticks.
Tesla Armadia Having the oppritunity to actually celebrate and simply enjoy a taste of the new prosperities to come was certinaly nice. But such is life that the next day it is back to work once more. Not that Tesla Armadia has a problem with this, she prefers to keep busy and productive, even when resources were still at a premium.

The mutant mastermind is difficult to miss upon entering, even with the mixture of races from various worlds populating Dorado few can rock the combination of labcoat over partial body armor the way she does. A simple inquiry of staff is all it takes to be pointed to the proper reserved section of the resturant. Prompt and efficient service. Yari chose her local well.

Speaking of the nin, a polite nod is given to her as Tesla walks up to the table. "Good day, Miss Takane."
Kushiko Sadly, Tenno do not eat. At least in theory. It is a mystery what they function on asides murder and more murder and maybe nano spores.

In the interim, Yari's introductory notion had caught the Tenno's attention but she hadn't particularly /spoken/ on it. With a pair of her frames far from here on different operations, this meant that the Warframe Yari might see is a bit different than the one she spotted before. Well, when she spots Mag Prime at least--the more traditionally configured Warframe (insofar as the feet resembling tabi socks) would actually be the second thing that suddenly appeared.

The first would be a particularly sizable dog. Or hound. It was hard to really be certain since aside the canine aspect, there were hints of batlike features such as that snout and those massive ears and paws that were not at all like a dog's. There /was/ a clear hint the Kubrow just dropped a cloaking field, an odd pulsation in the air as she simply /*wuff*/'s at Yari and seemingly grins at her. Food... technically wasn't what she wanted, but the black and purple fur of Kiras may have been going for the sudden surprise factor.

Tesla probably remembers that one: on the other hand, the Mag Prime Warframe is starkly different and adheres to that 'traditional' ninja look, excepting for a particular cyclopean helmet that, within is an oscillating storm of energy and light in the upper part of the semit-transluscent dome of a head. Light flickers there as do tendrils of some quantum points of energy her shoulers sport. There's a few pieces and accents--wreathed in ruthenium gilding that lends a quietly austere demeanor to the Tenno as she joins the visible spectrum.

<"You'll forgive us if we do not eat,"> comes the projection of that feminine voice. <"Kiras might, however."> Something better than Corpus or Grineer treats as it were.
Yari Takane The Scientist-Warrior has Yari quickly standing up. Her salute hasn't lost speed or form as she clasps her hand over her heart and those wooden geta clack. Not quite a heel snap, but it'll have to do.

"Welcome, Miss Armadia. Glory and honor, Ma'am! Please, sit. Can I get you anything?" Yari also can't drop the social training either.

It's rare that Yari gets snuck up on, but seeing an old officer of the Feds in the flesh has her a bit distracted. Thus, when that dog pops in with its purple and ridiculous size, the ninja acts on instincts. With a sudden hiss, she's leapt up half-way towards the ceiling and is three handseals into a fireball!

'Wuff'. There's this moment mid-air when Yari realizes the dog isn't actually hostile. Then she gets a good look. She lands her jump with some vague amount of dignity. Then immediately loses it all as she fails to stifle an outright 'awwww' more at home from a schoolgirl than a hardened assassin.

Her gaze falls from dog, to Warframe, to Armadia. Her face flushes in embarrassment. She immediately grabs a bottle of sake, downing half the thing, before finally returning to the duo. Salute!

"That is alright, ma'am! Is he your compatriot? The food is for any member of Concord." Clearly this means the dog. Her eyes shift from dog to Warframe and back again. There's a silent question here.

"Centurion Takane! A pleasure to...have we met?" That voice nags in the back of her mind, but she can't quite place it.
Tesla Armadia Tesla Armadia chuckles softly. "Come now, there is no reason to salute me any more... Though it is good to see your form hasn't faultered any." She's amused by the formality, if anything.

And then more arrivals, of the stealthy kind. To her credit Tesla just takes a step to the side, and it might be more to avoid the fireball that never comes, thankfully. Then gives a curious look more to the dog-like creature first. "Interesting. Is that a natural species to Origin Space or an articially created one?" Either she missed Yari's fumble, or is politely acting like she did.

Then lifts her attention back up to the Warframe proper. "It's good to have the new faces amongst us as well as the familiar ones." By the way she smirks just faintly at one corner of her mouth, the 'face' part was entirely tongue-in-cheek considering the frame's head more-so resembles one of those lightning spheres you see in sci-fi flicks.
Kushiko Oddly, the Kubrow simply tilts her head--not that Takane /knows/ Kiras is a she, but that's okay, it's the kind of thing that will become informed on later. Regardless, the Kubrow seems singularly unconcerned over the possibility of being fireballed, the massively tall (seriously, top of her head reaches just under 5 feet for a quadraped.) hound simply /wuffs/ again, tail wagging. Which given that short nubbly tail, is oddly endearing, potentially.

<"Good eye, you're half right."> the Tenno remarks. Walking over she threads a her hand through that fur, tracing along her 'collar' that was attached behind her neck and shoulders. <"And she,"> the oddly resonant projected voice continues, <"Is one of my companions, yes."> Then to explain to Tesla, the seemingly unarmed Warframe continues: <"Kubrow were originally way different than they are here. They were genetically engineered and uplifted generationally by a now dead empire. We use some of their techniques and the breeds recovered from ancient archives. This in particular is a Huras Kubrow.">

The cyclopean head of Mag Prime bobs once to Tesla. <"So lots of genetic engineering over time on a preexisting species is pretty accurate."> Then back to Yari: <"We're not surprised you do not quite realize who we are. It was some time ago. Remnant."> And you know, completely looking /different/.
Yari Takane Gulp. There's a brief awkward look, and Yari's eye closes a moment. "I...suppose you're right. Still. You're a powerful soldier." That awkwardness extends to her voice. For all of the meritocracy of the Concord, Yari can't quite pull herself out of the military mindset.

Dignity now somewhat restored, she nods in agreement with Tesla. "Nnn! I'm very much interested in our growing heirarchy, such as it is. The Concord feels...like the Empire, in many ways." Almost like a growing home.

Kushiko's Warframe gets a blank look, before finally, her gaze widens as realization downs not once, but twice. "Remnant. And..." A glance to Tesla. "The Confederacy is gone. It doesn't matter anymore. How could I forgot? You helped me save her. Helped me save Sanary." Her words, and gaze, go unfocused as if she's peering through the Warframe like she isn't there. Lingering shock from recent events? There's far too much growing fear and worry in them.

Her armlet flicks up, projecting a small screen. A quick search, and she sees the introduction, and most importantly, the name. "Miss...Kushiko? It is an honor to be working with you properly now. Thank you. I can't repay my debt for what you've done for me."

She drops into a deep bow. Then, she straightens and salute. "Glory and honor! Miss Armada. Miss Kushiko. Let us discuss what I can do for you both." She sits down, pulling herself together, picking up chopsticks. She takes some of the sushi, and offers it to the purple Kubrow!

Her tail might be starting to pet the massive dog.
Tesla Armadia Tesla Armadia aaahs at the explaination. "A variation of something similar I have done as well." A pause to readjust her glasses. "Though instead of generations of breeding and conditioning by hand I put the genetic sequences through a simulation that accelerated them through several centuries worth of conflict for survival and dominance, and used the few prime specimins to survive as a basis for the actual cloning process."

With introductions and greetings out of the way Tesla settles herself into a seated position, picking up a pair of chopsticks and giving them a few testing gestures between her clawed fingertips. "It is true the previous establishment is gone... But in some ways, it is for the better. The Concord has already proven itself to be much more focused in intent and driven in execution."

Having acclimated herself with the sticks she picks up a sushi rool between their tips. "All the same Yari, you posess a very intricate skillset that is difficult to come by in conjuncture with experience." Because spies and assassains that aren't good tend to not survive to gain said experience you know. "I doubt you will have trouble finding parties interested in your work."
Kushiko To be fair, even with the Confederacy gone, there was a matter of secrecy--she wasn't going to explicitly reveal it unless Yari was alright with it. <"It's alright. This is a form of us you have not quite seen before."> A pause. <"Then again, as we understand it, that one had vanished as well. Or executed. We are uncertain but there's little doubt to us that they aggravated the wrong person."> If the Warframe could smile, she--it--would.

Sadly, such a thing is not possible, but there's no mistaking the faint hint of a smile in her voice. <"Yes, that is us. We may have introduced ourselves properly before, though that may simply have been the Lotus."> Truthfully, her memory was never quite the best in terms of function at times. Still, it's been getting markedly better.

The Warframe cants her head slightly, as Kiras wolfs up a bit of the asian cusisine that's being offered, making a quick snapping motion before seemling to make a rumbly whine. Contentment, near as one could see from those eyes. <"We've been keeping an eye out for her as well."> Sanary... as far as the Tenno knew she hadn't joined a particular faction, but...

Then Tesla's words are considered fully, <"For all we know, that may be how the Orokin did it. Some of the breeds were as much trophies to demonstrate their wealth and status as much as anything else."> A hint of disgust could be inferred in those words, in the ethereally resonant words.

<"As to what you can do for us, well, we were curious and wanted to see how you were doing. We remember you as we do some others. Those who still remain and who have fought with us..."> A slight pause. <"As to the debt... the fact you were willing to risk everything as you were was reason enough for us. It's good to see you're with better people here."> The faceless Warframe shifts slightly, <"All respect, Tesla Armadia."> Yeah, no the Tenno had /very dire opinions/ regarding the former superfactions as a whole, and some people were questionable on both sides.
Yari Takane Tesla gets a small smile. "Nnn. I no longer need to bow to the /things/ in the Confederacy that were all but Eikons. It was a stain on the Empire's honor. Though, of course, I would never question the wisdom of the Emperor in signing on to the Confederacy. Here, I can grow stronger and help expand my homeland while destroying similar threats abroad."

Her eyes close. "It was too easy to become complacent. Too many chains that weren't rooted in discipline, purpose, and honor. The Concord...I may just be able to act, rather than simply seek." It's almost whispered, the ninja half acclimating, half awash in a sea of new opportunities. She might sound a little lost.

Yari chuckles to the Warframe. "I suppose a bit of memory loss isn't too bad. Things were...messy. I still have friends I need to find, from both sides." Her gaze doesn't hide the worry when Sanary is mentioned.

"You haven't heard from her either? Anything, Miss Armadia? I would like to ask both of you a favor, as well. You already know Sanary."

REaching into her kimono, she pulls out two pictures of a young asian girl, human at that. She offers them to Kushiko and Tesla alike. "This is Linh, she is my foster daughter. We were separated during the events that destroyed the Citadel. If you find her...or Sanary..." Her voice cracks just a moment, and she tries to put on her best stoic military face. If either of the two can detect her heartbeat, it's far too elevated. She probably should visit that spa after this.

A deep breath. "Then I look forward to helping your own efforts, Miss Kushiko. I haven't been able to fully study the report, but I believe you're pursuing an operation in Rathuum? If you can forward me tactical and political details, I can start attempting intelligence operations. I hate going into anything blind." The ninja, it seems, is eager to start. Or she might just want to distract herself from her worries.
Tesla Armadia Tesla Armadia munches on her sushi while the other two talk for the moment, then sets the chopsticks aside so she can get a cup of sake to wash it down. "Your Emperor made the same choice many had to -- pick a side or be smothered by both.. He cannot be faulted for doing what was best to prevent his people from being overrun from multiple sides."

The sake is sipped down, and then Tesla reachs over to take the picture with one hand. Looking at it brings a bit of a frown to her expression. She had expected the talk was about Sanary... but finding out it is also the adopted child that has gone missing? Tch. She's not an emotional sort, but she can still sympathize with how much this must be hurting Yari. And how hard she's fighting to not show it.

"Last I had heard from Sanary was her reporting on the events in Ravnica shortly before the multiversal disturbance. As for Lihn, certainly she must have been amongst the evacuees. But that was a great many people being moved out in short time, she could of easily gotten displaced in the shuffle. I would suggest investigating the locations the various refugees have been relocated to, and work from there."

That said, Tesla tucks the picture away in the pocket of her labcoat. "I will have Saiga and Montage go through what records and footage we have of the evacuation, and see if they can't pick up a more solid lead."
Kushiko It's an odd little comfort--everyone had their reasons--good, evil, in between, or 'q' alignments, but the presence of the Superfactions all led to those here, Concord and possibly beyond--to very similar conclusions...

...albeit in some cases, a bit different in terms of true alignments. She knew too well what it was to make the 'better of two evils' choice.

<"It seems we had made the right decision to not ally with either side. As many worlds as there were in ours, and the way we kept things... relatively quiet, it seemed to work out."> However, she does fall tacitly silent when it comes to the notion of the missing. Without hesitation, after Yari's words, she extends a hand--a device unfolds out of latticeworked energy and scans both pictures in. She knew of Sanary but not Linh. Given what she knew of the Citadel's fall, she may have to employ a particular method to securely look for her.

Such is the burden of search and rescue after all. <"Certainly will, on both. Guard your strength."> Kushiko intones softly, <"And hold onto that. We have mimeographs of Sanary besides, and that picture is now scanned to our records. We'll keep an eye out."> The Mag Prime's head lifts as somewhere in the midst of all the attention the favor is being paid, Kiras may be soaking in the snootle boops and belly rubs and snuggles. Comfort doge is comfort, yo.

Speaking of keeping track, she brings her hand close to herself, extending it once more and opening up a transmission--packaged data for comm frequencies and other dispatches about the shuffle as it's gone by--and the main commline they use for Origin System-based ops. That much will do well enough, no doubt.
Yari Takane Yari takes in the information with a slow nod. "Nnn. That could put Sanary anywhere. But at least I can narrow down places to look for Linh." She mutters to Tesla. The picture is taken. A bow is given, and a similar one to Kushiko as she too takes the picture.

"Nnn. You saved headache and grinding, pointless war." Yari's all for war. But not pointless ones. The ninja bends down, and finally, just straight out hugs the big dog on the neck, giving plenty of rubs. She needs it right now.

She comes back up looking at least a little better. Which is exactly when a Concord local military member enters the restaurant. "Partner Takane? Your equipment has arrived, ready for your inspection, ma'am." The ninja snaps a salute, then turns to the others.

"It seems I'll have to call this meeting short. Feel free to eat as much as you like...erm, Miss Armadia, and for your friend, Miss Kushiko." /Tenno/ and their lack of eating! Yari reflexively salutes again, and then she's off!
Tesla Armadia "Take care, Yari." Tesla is already helping herself to some more sushi, particularly when she finds some of the more exotic variety from some world that also has a dead insect stuffed into the middle. Armadillos are primarily insectivores after all.

"She's right, you know. You saved yourself and your followers a fair deal of trouble. Regardless of what purpose it had been started upon, it had become no more than a war of unadvancing attrition... It's almost as if this upheaval was the Multiverse itself saying to stop it."
Kushiko The Tenno returns that bow in that elegantly graceful fashion by which her Warframe can move, though far and away from here, Kushiko--the child of the Void, can't help but grin a little. Ah, Kiras was getting to be a spoiled little love sponge, wasn't she? Still, having others as potential allies seemed to make her fight all the stronger, so...

The diode in the center of her 'face' pulses a little, the magnetic disk in front revolving slightly as she does not yet speak until Yari's departed, though she does give a little, <"Be well, until we meet next,"> and then she's alone (sortof) with Tesla. <"We have no followers, but we understand what you mean by that. The Union... for all their good intentions sought control at the end of the day. The Confederacy allowed some to flourish unbalanced... so perhaps it was the will of this Multiverse at large."> There's a slight shrugs from her as she uses some of her electromagnetic control to lift a metal platter of sushi to Kiras, who happily wolfs it down.

<"Still, we are glad of it. This shall be... interesting, going forward.">
