Marrik Njorun was, put blunt, Huge. Considering it was the central seat of the Union's presence in the multiverse it should be expected that it would be big. That only hints at how hard it is to find anything if you aren't used to the place. This was Marrik's problem; he was very thoroughly lost, or at least would be if he had a destination in mind. As it stood though he had his traveling supplies packed and inventoried and it was just him out enjoying the weather.
Leyanne Mace Leyanne Mace cuts a very striking figure in white fur, from quite the distance away. SHe's just cruising along on one of the many highways, a short distance ahead of Marrik, on a much more modern -and customised- Harley Davidson. Of course, even with her head hidden under a helmet (that's got big ear protectors) she's recognisable as the mouse who's just got back.

She pulls into a gas station and stops her bike, unaware that there's any other Elites nearby
Marrik Marrik's bike rumbled low as he stopped at the same Leyanne did and pulled his black helmet off. Funny. rough canvas coat, fresh off the farm sort of guy, and puttimg gas into a bike that was new during the second world war.

He looked over at Leyanne and quirked an eyebrow. "So Tiny is supposed to be one of those funny nicknames huh?" Kinda like how his pa's hunting dog was called chicken. Then again that dog liked chicken. Maybe the mouse was small for her people? Still, definately more solidly built than bermucians. "Had wondered how the ears would fit in a helmet."
Leyanne Mace Leyanne Mace pulls off her own bone-dome, shaking out her long, blue hair. She nods "Yeah, I've had the nickname since Boot Camp. I'm tall even for my species." She chuckles, hooking up the fueller. "You'd be... Marrik, right?" She asks, trying to link the voice to the face
Marrik This skinny red haired guy smiled and bowed slightly, "Nice to meecha." He offered a well worn and calloused hand to the biker mouse. "Just taking the day off before jumping into work, cracking heads, all that." Soft chuckle before looking over at Leyanne's bike. "Looks kinda like you started with the kinda bike the dealer wanted me to take." More laughter before he added, "Guy said I could have anything on the lot for helping with his ghost problem, and his museum was technically part of the lot."
Leyanne Mace Leyanne Mace laughs and looks it up and down "I can't argue with your reasoning..." She walks over and looks at the old Harley "She's even prettier in the steel." She comments, amused. "So you're a ghost-buster?"
Leyanne Mace Leyanne Mace seems amused by the story of how the bike came to be
Marrik The bike rode in on even had the leather saddlebags and a rifle holster, though the latter held a rune covered wood staff. Marrik smiled warmly, "Bit more than that. Try seeing what they want, help who I can or if it's like a poltergiest or posession ward them away." He kept the explaination short since no need to complicate matters. "Got a few other things going for me, so it's not like I'm flat useless." He gave Leyanne's bike an approving nod. "I take it all the mods are your own doing?"
Leyanne Mace Leyanne Mace nods as she listens to the procedure, nodding. "Makes sense, though I get the feeling that's the short version of what you do." She says, grinning. "And yeah pretty much, it's got on-board AI, couple of tuning tweaks, and a pair of twenty-five mil cannons in the panniers. Among others"
Marrik More laughter from Marrik, "Definitely not stock." He felt comfortable talking, maybe it was just from being here, maybe that was just him. "Picked mine up off the advice of an army grunt that helped me out." Nice guy, moved on after the job was done. "Ended up liking it because the left handed controls. Leaves my right hand free for spells." His hand went to hover just above Leyanne's bike. "And the lomg story would take a good deal of the afternoon and I kinda get the idea we need t'stop blockimg the pumps." Then a thought hit that made him smile, "Where's your shop? Hear you say something about bleeding the fuel or somesuch?" He guessed it was essentially getting a long dormant shop back in order and gas laying stagnent in lines is bad.
Leyanne Mace Leyanne Mace chuckles "An old Harley like that's not gonna really break down on you." She agrees, then points towards the Roots "It's quite a ride, all the way down on one of the Earths somewhere." She grins. "And I meant the gas for the cutters - propane gas, not petrol." SHe chuckles, paying for her fuel and starting to put her helmet back on. "I got it on GPS, you think you can keep up?"
Marrik Marrik merely grinned and donned his helmet before revving his bike's engine. "Normally it'd be no contest, but the thing about magic is. Wait he was still working on adapting kenetic shove to something like this. Still, it's not like the harley didm't have get up and go. It was just a largely stock bike going against a gearhead's baby. Seemed like a good way to spemd am aftermoon though.
Leyanne Mace Leyanne Mace grins and puts her skid-lid on, tapping a few buttons on the tank. "I won't put her in pursuit mode, then." She giggles, stepping onto the bike and firing the engine. It's got the typical Harley growl, but it's a little deeper, and there's a percussive 'ploing' note to the exhaust. She sets off fairly slow, glancing back to make sure Marrik is still behind her - and gradually cranks up the speed
Marrik Surprisingly Marrik's able to keep up just fine, at least while they go at highway speeds. The engine isn't entirely stock, but he knows just enough to never push as hard as a thing will go. Nevermind the fact there were a pair of spooks flying along either side of him hurling insults Marrik wasn't going faster. He simply didn't want the bike to blow up.

That and Traffic was getting to the point where he wasn't confident flooring it. Boring but he liked living thanks.
Leyanne Mace Leyanne Mace stays close enough that you can see her, but she keeps on teasing the other rider - she seems to know the limits of the old Harley too, and simply makes it a fun ride. It's a hell of a long ride to...
