Regina of Borg      Britt has come out alone today. The Borg Queen couldn't be bothered with recreational activities. So, the little nurse Shinki is standing on the play area of a shooting game, one of those with the large plastic pistol that you aim at the screen. This one is a beer bottle shooter. The shinki is doing fairly well, but may not be easily noticed upon first entering until her cute little voice cries out. "Take that, you nasty bottle you! Pew pew pew!!"

She seems to be having a good time, giggling as she shoots, though she can barely see around the plastic gun that is about twice her size.
Jonothon Starsmore     Perhaps in contrast to the nurse Shinki's fairly quiet presence, there's one that simply cannot be missed. No sooner does she arrive than she's making noise. Which is probably enough to tell what it is almost immediately. "GAAAAOOO~!" It is indeed a Gabrine. "So many games!" She's in default not-armored state. She's also carrying a bag of tokens!
Regina of Borg      Britt blinks in surprise at the excited cry, then looks around quickly before floating into the air. She is not armored really, but she is still carrying her large syringe and has her curved blades attatched to her back as wings. "Yeah! There's lots of games here!" the nurse shinki says. She's definitely not quiet, just small and easily missed without her Master around.

With another shinki in the area, Britt is quick to float over like some kind of nurse fairy. "Another shinki! Finally! I haven't met any others since my activation!" she exclaims, practically pouncing the other shinki and giving her a big hug. The Gabrine might notice that this Brightfeather is unusually equipped. Her outfit is black with green glowing accents, as is her hat except for the red cross on it. And her eyes are green as well. Even her syringe is filled with something green and glowing.
Jonothon Starsmore     "Wah!" The Gabrine is surprised by the sudden pouncehug, but doesn't fall out of the air or anything like that. "Oh wow, really? I heard there was a lot in the Multiverse," the Gabrine replies. "The Shinki shop said there was a lot sold just after our world unified!" She pauses, backing up to look at the Brightfeather. "...Custom armor?" she asks. And then starts to circle the Shinki to look at her.
Regina of Borg      Britt looks herself over, turning this way and that, then nods. "Yes! Well, sort of. It is not official Shinki armor. My Master made it herself. She said that if I was going to represent the Borg, that I should look the part. She even changed my eye-color! I kinda like the green eyes." she says, smiling brightly.

She bows politely after the hug is broken. "I am Britt. It's nice to meet you! And...yes. I was told the same thing, but after a few weeks you are the first I have met. I know there are at least 6 others, some in the Union and some in the Confederacy, but..." she sighs. "...I think they have been avoiding me."
Jonothon Starsmore     "I'm Gabby!" the Gabrine replies. As she's speaking Japanese, the 'I' here is spoken with doubly-boastful phrasing! She thinks a lot of herself, doesn't she? The armor is concerned. Borg, huh? "Ah, maybe I should have Partner make me some custom armor, too! He's all on fire in his chest! Maybe if I had some flames painted on my chestplate...!"

She pauses, though, tilting her head and frowning. "That's weird. Why would they be avoiding you?" she asks. "You're a nurse, you can help fix them, right? Seems like a good friend to make!"
Regina of Borg      Britt pouts cutely at that. "I know! I keep telling them, but no one seems to want repairs or to hang out." she says, crossing her arms over her chest. "I think it's because of who my Master is. The Borg are apparently not highly regarded by either faction." she adds before sighing. "Well, at least I met you! You seem friendly enough!" she says, smiling happily. "So! What games should we play? I was just playing Beer Shooter. I was looking for a Patient Injector game, but so far I haven't found one."
Jonothon Starsmore     "Oh that'd do it!" Gabby replies. "That's okay though, Partner's not in a faction, so that's okay." She grins broadly. "Can I keep you in mind if I need repairs? As it is I can only really go to the Shinki shop, and that won't do if my body gets destroyed. I don't have a spare. So right now I just have to be careful!"

Here she tilts her head, considering the games. "Those motorcycle racing games look fun! Partner has a motorocycle, but he never drives THAT fast! ...Oh but we're probably too small to move the bike, right?"
Regina of Borg      Britt nodnods excitedly! "I would be happy to repair you anytime, Gabby!" she says, giving another hug. "My Master has a lot of resources, so I could probably get a new body for you if needed. Although...she might insist it be a Borg body..." Britt lets go of Gabby, then twirls in the air. "Alright! Let's try the motorcycle game! Maybe if we both use one, we will be able to move it!" she says, floating over to the indicated motorcycle game. "Master doesn't use land vehicles. She only uses space vehicles since they can teleport her between places on the ground."

She lands on the top of the motorcycle controller, then moves to grip one of the handles. "Grab the other one!"
Jonothon Starsmore     "Oooh, I don't know," Gabby hedges, rubbing her chin in thought. Then she suddenly smiles. "But if it happens, it happens~!" The motorcycle game is noted, and Gabby nods! "OK! Let's give it a try! We'll have to work together!" she observes. Putting the tokens in, Gabby heads over to the other side of the handlebars. "What track do you want to race?"
Regina of Borg      Britt hmms, looking over the list. "Let's get the most squiggly, wiggly track there is!" she says happily as she slips a token into the slot, then heehees. "Alright...we'll have to both pull at the same time to make sure we can make the turns!" Assuming they can even move the motorcycle. Of course, shinki are stronger than they look, so they -should- be able to do it, right? As the race loads up, Britt looks over at Gabby. "Ready?"
Jonothon Starsmore     Gabby crouches on the handlebar like a canine as she waits. As the race begins to load, a grin spreads over Gabby's face, showing plenty of fang. She does have sharp teeth like a wolf. And at Britt's words, she agrees, "Let's /ace/ this track!" That grin widens and she shifts her feet so she can shift at a moment's notice!
Regina of Borg      Britt takes up a similar position, crouched with her stance wide on her handlebar, ready to shift her weight and pull in either direction when needed. The race starts! And...the bike doesn't move on the screen. "H-hey! Why aren't we moving?" She doesn't know how bikes work, or that you need to turn the acceleration handle to go forward. She starts moving back and forth, then nnnngs. "They are leaving us behind!!"
Jonothon Starsmore     Looking over at Britt and where she's standing, Gabby realizes what the issue is. "Oooh, you're on the gas thingie!" Gabby notes. "Lean your weight back and the handle will turn! That makes it go forward! I'll deal with slowing us down!" The brake lever is on Gabby's side anyway.
Regina of Borg      Britt blinks, then looks down at her handle. "Gas thingie...?" she says in curiousity before leaning back cautiously. And the bike on the screen takes off! Britt yelps in surprise, then giggles excitedly and leans back further, pushing the bike to its maximum speed with the acceleration that only a motorcycle can manage.

It's all going well until the first turn. It's a fairly gentle turn, but Britt is so distracted with the throttle that she forgets to lean!
Jonothon Starsmore     "Whoo-hoo!" Gabby crows excitedly as the screen begins to move fast. She's quite okay with going fast it seems. However, there's no way she can turn the bike herself. When she leans and finds the bike isn't turning, she quickly grabs the brake lever and pulls back on it with all her weight. It may not save them from crashing, but she can at least slow them down. "Hey, hey! We're supposed to turn!" she grouses. "There's a lot to keep track of on a motorcycle. Hey, I know! I can call for a lean when we should turn!"
Regina of Borg      Britt looks up when Gabby calls out, then lets out a startled 'eep!' as she sees the wall incoming. She leans at the last second, so the bike barely avoids the crash thanks to Gabby's braking. "S-sorry!" Britt says sheepishly. Then, she revs the motorcycle again and the simulated bike takes off down the road. "I'll try to keep watch, but be sure to call it out, too!" she says as the scenery races past.
Jonothon Starsmore     "There you go!" Gabby encourages. Sure she's loud, but that loudness also translates itself into loud encouragements too. She's sure to keep watch on the track, and when they come up into another turn-- a sharp left-- Gabby calls out, "LEFT!" She also pulls on the brake lever when she leans, to make sure there's enough time for Britt to react so the bike can make the turn.
Regina of Borg      "Hey! Don't slow us down or we'll never catch them!" Britt whines as the other bikes that were just becoming visible are suddenly gone again. She leans quickly to the left, then pulls are hard as she can once they are straight on the course again. The bike takes off again, Britt's tongue hanging out cutely as she concentrates on the road. She's reddy for the next turn, but it is a hairpin right. Even a bike can't make a turn like that without brakes, and she isn't letting up on the gas at all.
Jonothon Starsmore     "Sorry! Just buying some time," Gabby calls back. Though at the hairpin right, she calls, "RIGHT! And we gotta drift around that one, it's too sharp!" Leeeeeean, pull on the brakes. Just a little, mind. Just enough to make the turn, not enough to slow them up much. "Let off the gas just a little 'till we get out of the turn!"
Regina of Borg      Britt huffs as she has to let off the gas, but pushes it up again as soon as they are clear of the turn. She giggles as they clear it. "Hey! Good job!" she says, smiling brightly. After that, the two shinki should be able to run the rest of the course, though perhaps not easily. It is a difficult course!
