Argast Wyrdseeker     Within the Four Caverns, a team of scientists, mages, and other various groups associated with the study of magical artifacts had quickly set up a small outpost. It seemed that they had located an EXTREMELY powerful artifact covered with runes unlike anything they had ever seen before. The item itself was a set of armor, the color of dried blood and brass. Many felt what they could only describe as whispers, trying to drive them insane or that whispered power if they would only kill their companions. Needless to say, they reached out for Elite assistance, regardless of their alleigence.
But making a slow advance towards the outpost, drawn by the familiar power, was Argast Wyrdseeker and his warband of undivided chaos. He knew exactly what was found. An artifact of Khorne, the blood god. "These foolish scientists have done my job for me. We will give them a just reward." He says as he walks slowly, staff impacting the ground, and letting his dark power seep out.
Leyanne The mouse has been watching the net for strange activity for a while. The rumours of the armour have perked her interest - this sounds like the kind of thing that's bad for -anyone- to posess. Her armour's backpack is filled with det charges and ammo, with a ligt machine gun strapped to it for easy carriage.
As quiet as she can, using her cybernetic strength and a set of spiked and barbed boots, the red-armoured mouse makes her way across the ceiling of the caves towards the rumoured location of this 'cursed' armour. This sounds like that Chaos shit she had dealings with shortly before taking her 'sabbatical' and that stuff's never good.
Quietly, she pauses in a smoky section of the cavern roof to give a brief, coded radio call.
Theurgus     Theurgus doesn't leave The System much. But when she does, she always seems to find herself in some odd location or other. Right now, she's walking through the Caverns, following a marker on some kind of scanning device. "Yes... Yes I know. Yes I'm picking it up. Yes I'll be careful. This is clearly the work of The Organization. No, I'll be fine." she speaks to... herself? Well, she does put something away into a pocket on her coat, before resuming her measured pace towards whatever signal she's tracking.

The woman herself, though her hair colour and the eccentric fashion sense would likely mark her as non-local, is otherwise fairly unremarkable seeming at a first glance.
Alden The digimon figured taking such a job might help him get his name out there, and it might be a good way to earn a bit of money, make contacts, and simply learn more about stuff!. Of course, it wasn't quite as simple as standing guard in the caverns... Just by being close to that thing... even a thing like him can sense something is wrong with that armor, seriously wrong, getting nervous and asking to people what the plans were, regarding that... thing.
He was standing near the entrance to that particular outpost, in his larger, quadruped form, ears perked, nose twitching a bit as he scans around the perimeter again. Katze decided to stick inside the outpost, keeping contact via radio if something happened.
Argast Wyrdseeker     The science team makes a personal effort to greet every single elite who came to help them. "We shouldn't take too much longer. We really don't wanna be around that thing any longer then we need to." The lead scientist said over the radio. Near to Leyanne, one scientist would be holding his head. "Shut up, shut up, SHUT UP!!! I"M NOT LISTENING!!!" He screams out, as if trying to drown out something. The armor itself is housed inside of a machine running multiple tests on it, from molecular make-up to any kind of enchantments. "I REALLY hope one of you has someplace we can send this once we're done with it." The lead scientist says again.
Drawing into Katze's view was the tide of undivided chaos. Each clad in a mix of Green, Red, Blue, and a strange purple. She would know they belong to the four gods of chaos, and would easily put things together. Argast walks at the lead, grinning evilly under his helmet. "Too easy. Not even much of a defence." He says aloud, trying to goad the elites into a strike.
Theurgus     Theurgus seems lost entirely in her own little world as she walks through the caverns, out of a little side tunnel and right past the outer perimeter, just following the scanner pulse. It'll take someone actively trying to stop her from walking right up to the armour to halt her advance, whether it's a cultist or one of the science team, or one of the Elites present, well.
Leyanne Leyanne Mace blinks as she watches the poor guy starting to panic and freak out at the whispers in his own head. "Shit." She mutters, under her breath, about to mak a report when she hears the tide of Chaos in the distance. She looks up (down?) to confirm. aw HELL no, this is not what she needs right now...
She scuttles across the celing towards the location of the Chaos cultists, still trying to remain unseen until she gets back down to ground level...
Alden Alden perks his ears and growls in his breath as he hears Katze reporting about some... army approaching!. He rushes back to the post, trying to warn any guards, and any elites around!. Tiny gets a happy yip from the big wolf, "This sounds... bad." he mumbles, looking for a better vantage point and climbing there, "Katze, let's do this." he barks.
The Shinki seems a bit uneasy by the horde, but does as told, a few swift movements, and the wolf explodes into light, only to be reborn as a TALL bipedal robot wolf, with a gatling gun for an arm, shoulder mounted missile pod, what seems like a beam weapon on an opposite shoulder, just sizing up the opposition.
It's at that point that Katze spots the blue haired woman casually walking into the outpost, "Hello?" the little shinki tries, "Who are you?" she asks.
Argast Wyrdseeker     Argast looks up, and laughs. "We have come to claim what is ours." He responds simply. He continues to walk towards the outpost, now flanked by 4 heavily armored men. Each bore the sigil of one of the 4 gods of chaos and their unique mutations. The one in red was foaming at the mouth, the lust of combat taking over. The green colored one was laughing, thought extremely sick. The one in purple seemed extremely vain, polishing his sword as he walked on. The other one in blue was quiet, simply watching with almost raven like eyes. "The armor belongs to us, the followers of the Dark Pantheon. We will take it back, one way or another." Argast says, gathering up the winds of magic into his hand to form a fireball. "The only question is...how many have to be sacrificed to the gods of chaos undivided before you run?"
Leyanne Leyanne Mace blinks quietly at Arghast... and who's the big wolf-dude? He seems to be facing down against the Chaos so he can't be that bad. After a moment, the mouse pulls her boots free of the barbed spikes, dangles from her cybernetic arm and then drops down to land next to Alden, not that she knows its him. In the same motion, she pulls the LMG from its bracket and raises it to her shoulder, aimed at the Chaos horde.
"Nah mate, haven't you heard? It's past its sell by ate, it's got to be decommissioned."
Alden The big metal wolf growls softly, trying to look intimidating, "If you want to claim that thing, you can always make a formal request." he says softly, his tail giving a flick as he focuses on Argast, the minigun starting to slowly spin up, not firing yet, just preparing!.
Leyanne is greeted with a smile, "It's me, Alden." he says quickly, just to reintroduce himself, shoulder guns aiming as well. "He uses magic, so be careful." he says softly.
Theurgus     Oh? Theurgus looks over at Katze addresses her. "Ah, hello! I am Theurgus, The Mad Magician." she offers, doffing her hat and completely ignoring the Chaos cultists as she sweeps a bow. "I came here because I detected something." she points at the device in her hands... it's... not even turned on.
Alden Katze looks up at the odd person, "Mad Magician?" she asks curiously, tail lashing nervously, "Are you with those chaos guys?" she asks softly, a bit wary, before blinking, "Wait, that thing is off..." he muses, peeking at it. She belatedly bows in return, "Oh, I am Katze!"
Argast Wyrdseeker     Argast looks over towards Theurgus. "Mad Magician? How intruiging..." He says. Then towards Alden and Leyanne, he grins. "I remember you, digimon. Alden...But the armor of the Blood God will be returned. Now get out of my way!" He says, all but charging through the elites. Behind him, his warband hoot and hollar, ready for war.
Leyanne Leyanne Mace opens up with her LMG as the Chaos marine closes, throwing it down as he gets close in order to take a step back, jets of gas spurting from her shoulder and elbow as she swings a vicious power-assisted punch in towards the Chaos marine's face - hoping to stop his charge, at the very least and give Alden an opening. She's fully expecting to be the target of Argast's return ire, cussing herself for not bringing some kind of sword with her.
Theurgus     Theurgus blinks, looking at the device, then cackling as she pockets it. "Wahahaha! My anti-spying technology works! Anyone except me who looks at it, makes it turn off! Wahahaha!" That was totally what happened yes.

And then there's some guy running through. He nearly bowls Theurgus over and that seems to sober her up. "Excuse me sir, I believe I was here first!"

With a rush of pixelated light, she summons her Staff. The marble at the head shifting to a blue-white hue, as she gives it a bit of a twirl, then lashes out. "Your soul shall freeze! Corrupting Coctys!" magic blasting out in a wave of freezing vapor that almost instantly turns into a mass of ice.
Alden The digimon growls as Argast begins to rush forward, his minigun spinning faster, yet the weapon that fires at the chaos sorcerer is his shoulder mounted beam, piercing blasts firing in the direction of the Chaos marine while Leyanne distracts him, since it was the one weapon he had that had less chances of... friendly fire in that situation, even as he rushes forward to help push him back.
The Shinki blinks at the explanation, "That's awesome!, how do you do that?" she asks, before jumping back when the battle begins!
Argast Wyrdseeker     Argast feels the chill take his back. But he counters with an explosion of fire. His warband charges forward, howling out their devotions as they dive onto both the elites and the scientists. "I will burn all of you, and send your souls to Tzeench!!" HE screams out, unleashing more flames. But that was quickly stopped by Leyanne's punch. "Insolant mutant! I'll burn you alive!" He shouts, unleashing a gout of flame from his hand towards the martian mouse.
Theurgus     Theurgus covers against the return fire, literal in this case, the flames licking along her white coat, leaving it singed, but not actually catching the fabric alight. "Fire is it? Then let us turn up the heat!" She flourishes her staff, then slams the base into the ground, causing an explosion of flames at Argast's feet. "Burn in the mad fire!"
