Baiken The wind blows and the rain falls. Time marches forward, everlasting and ever existing. While many things past are not always good, the future is yet to come. And thus, this Unification has presented such wonderous blessings for the world of Guilty Gear. To celebrate this, the Japanese colony has invited others to come celebrate. And so, the time has come. The colony is ready. The feudal city of cherry blossoms and pagodas is ready for all!
Genji Shimada     It's a rare chance. Genji doesn't often get to visit a world where he can walk and act openly. Let alone one where he's not as likely to be stared at. And to top it all off, it's Japan. It might not be *his* Japan, and he might feel a bit out of place, but it's something. So today, the Japanese colony will be receiving a visit from a cybernetic ninja. Old habits die hard, though; once he's off whatever public transportation he might have taken to arrive, the first thing the Shimada shinobi does is take to the nearest rooftop, to get a look around the city.

And maybe to let his bandana-tails flutter in the wind dramatically. That's important.
Iria The cherry blossoms are in bloom.

The colony is having a festival.

It's a nice time and a nice place.

Yet there might be stares upon the young boy with a crimson cape on arriving rather quickly. Namely because it's not a boy, but a girl. Not that she cares about her appearance really, it's the way she is and that's how it's gonna be!

As Iria arrives in the area, she looks around and breathes a soft sigh, smiling a little. "Looks rather nice here, actually." She doesn't seem to mind the looks she's getting in regards to her cape or her appearance. She simply stretches her arms over her head and smiles before starting to walk into the city further and look around some.
Yuna Kagurazaka It's been a long time since Yuna had the opportunity to go to a cherry blossom viewing party and *not* plan on being there as an idol singer. Fortunately, she's managed to get a yukata that fits tolerably well - the body of it in a pattern of white, yellow, and sky-blue suggestive of a misty early morning, and an obi in darker blue and gold.. Her hair, rather than its normal long ponytail, has been re-arranged into a series of braided loops - almost arranged so that they suggest the spreading petals of a flower opening.

.... Almost.

Of course Elner is sticking close to Yuna as usual as the Savior of Light arrives in the newly-Unified version of Japan ... such as it is. It definitely doesn't feel like Tokyo to her, although the 'feudal' appearance of it puts Yuna a little bit at ease. Familiar faces - or familiar masks, in Genji's case - will do even more. Assuming she actually lays eyes on Genji and he's not just darting around from roof to roof. Not that Yuna *can't* do the roof-hopping thing ... she'd just have to transform first, and she'd rather save that for if actual trouble breaks out.
Lyria Mason Lyria Mason has heard of a party from a newly unified world? How could Lyria say no to that and give them a better time of it than her own world had she wasn't alone a small dog that looked a hell of a lot like a terrier was bounding along behind her barking and plying with the end of her long made of hair. It was black and brown mostly and seeminly quite chipeper though it was also barking a bit. The small mercy is the dog? Wasn't one of those annoying yappers at least. She had food hamper uner arm because hey why not bring some Multiveral food to the party to share, right?
Baiken As one may enter the colony, you would immediately notice the copious amount of cherry blossom trees and the feudal era style buildings. Of course, this doesn't necessarily mean that the colony itself is old and ancient. No, it is a rather recent development. The styling of the area is simply to pay homage to a place and time that no longer exist in the modern world. A time and place that was viciously wiped off the face of the Earth. But now is the time to celebrate, as shown by the various fireworks going off as well as other festivities and all the wonderful food.
Off in a spot that doesn't seem very festive sits a lone woman with a sheathed sword by her side. By her side sits a sake set, with one of the cups currently in her hand as she takes a drink. She doesn't seem to be in much of a partying mood although she doesn't seem like she is hating it either.
Yuna Kagurazaka Elner flits upwards and away, to do some general reconaissance of the area; you never know what information will prove useful. That leaves Yuna to meander around on her own for the time being; she bows politely to Lyria, but her attention is drawn by the swordswoman who's sitting on her own.

So Yuna walks over, bowing politely. "Good evening to you; are you awaiting somebody, or looking for whomever may choose to join you? Either way, you seem to have found a good spot to watch new arrivals like myself," the blonde says with a smile. "My name's Yuna; might I ask your name?"
Iria As Iria makes her way further into the city, she is intrigued by the way things look. Almost like feudal Japan, yet it still seems fairly modern. It feels like a unique contradiction, but Iria doesn't really mind it at all. The festivities are what are important here in Iria's mind. That is, of course, until she notices that mysterious woman sitting off to the side. Iria raises an eyebrow with intrigue, noticing how she seems to be a bit on the quiet side here despite all that's happening.

After a moment of thinking, Iria notices Yuna going over to greet the mysterious woman, and Iria decides to join her as well. She looks to Yuna and says, "Fancy bumping into you here," with a smirk, before turning and bowing to the woman as well. "My name's Iria. Is everything OK?"
Genji Shimada     Ah, matsuri. It's the kind of festival atmosphere Genji hasn't been able to enjoy in a long, long time. Not that he hasn't had opportunities, mind; but these days, even if he'd never admit it to most of his acquaintances, he feels a tad disconnected from most crowds of people.

So it looks like Baiken's going to be getting some more company. But Genji doesn't crowd in close, per se; rather, he opts to quietly find himself a nearby wall and lean against it, only announcing his presence when he speaks up. "It is nice and quiet over here. Perfect for relaxing away from the crowd." He might be trying to subtly make a point to Yuna and Iria. It's hard to tell.
Baiken As Yuna and Iria approach the woman she immediately begins to eye them. She doesn't hostile in her intent, just curious about what these two people might be like. After the two have asked for her name and to see if everything is alright she opens her mouth to speak.

"The name's Baiken. The pleasure is mine. And as for your question", in response to Iria, "Yeah, everything is fine. Just not used to so many people. Mr. Robot Ninja Man understands why I'm over here." Promptly turning to look at Genji. "I wasn't really expecting new faces to show up today."
Lyria Mason Alfie barks abd bounces along after Lyria and then looks to Yuna and the sword woman does get her notive.Lyria is going to keep the jamper of food under her arm for a moment as she moves to check out the strange woman and give Baiken a good look over, Lyria's not come armed though from the looks of it the tattooed womand follows up now and pauses "the name's Lyria Mason good to meet you Baiken. Well I heard about the party and figured I'd try to get this world off to a better start here than mine did!" The dog barks a moment later bouncing in place and eying up Baiken.
Yuna Kagurazaka "I do quite understand," Yuna replies with a sheepish smile for Baiken, and a nod to Genji (never mind that he startled her speaking up like that out of almost literally *nowhere*). "I heard about the festival and thought it might be worth visiting ... thus my trying to dress appropriately," she admits, holding her arms up from her sides as if to show off her yukata. "In any case, I hope you enjoy the festival, Ms. Baiken!"

She nods in reply to Iria, a little belatedly (and with a brief, wry grin at the joke), and then heads off to explore the festival further. Sake is *not* a thing Yuna partakes of, but a festival like this - if it's anything like back home, or other Japans that Yuna's been able to visit - should have food and games ... so, as long as she can either pay with Multiversal money or exchange it for local cash, she should be set.
Genji Shimada     "Genji Shimada," the ninja against the wall greets, before adding, "Cyborg. There is still a little bit of human in here. Somewhere. I think I still have a spleen." He tilts his head slightly, regarding the crowds as they come and go. "It is rare to find a world where my body doesn't look too out of place. You have a very lively homeland."
Iria Nodding a little to Baiken, Iria replies with, "I'm glad to know you're OK. I'm sorry if it seems a little strange that new faces are showing up, but there are festivities and all." She shrugs a little, smoothing out a wrinkle in her cape. "I must say it looks quite nice." She smiles a little more, flipping her hair beads a little as if it's a signature gesture of sorts.

"Regardless, I won't keep you. I see you're keeping to yourself, and I'll let you be if you desire." She looks to Yuna and smiles a little, noticing her yukata. "Seems I came a bit out of costume for this thing."
Baiken Baiken proceeds to stand up. "Eh, I shouldn't just sit around. It'd be a waste if I let this just all go by without doing anything. Anyway, welcome to home I guess. If you want a tour, I can give you guys one. And guys, I might suggest you keep your guards up. Some... monsters I suppose have been reported as picking up activity around here. I guess they don't really like people having fun and enjoying themselves."
