The bank was saved...and now Buggabix is walking with the 'jumpy lady' he now knows as Rebound through the streets of New York City. It was still night out, and the streets of the Bronx were relatively quiet, for a big city at least. The small goblin kicked at some trash as they walked by. "Buggabix helped Rebound, maybe she returns the favor?" he asked, looking up at her, streetlights shining through the lenses of his gas mask. "Buggabix has bellygrowls! Not eaten for a while..." |

"Oh man I know a great place." Rebound says, "C'mon little dude, we'll go chow down at FlyBy Burgers." She says, as she hops off, motioning for him to follow her towards a resturant she knows will still be open. |
| Buggabix |
Buggabix follows as fast as his smaller legs will allow him. But Rebound is a kangaroo and has madder ups than he ever will. "Wait for Buggabix!" he calls, leaping over a fallen trash can. "Unless Rebound wants to quickfoot Buggabix to food!" |

"Oh right, sorry little dude." Rebound says, as she moves over and picks up the goblin, putting him up on her shoulders before she hops off towards FlyBy. It doesn't take her long to arrive and she sets him down, "Alright man, I got you on this one. My treat." |

Buggabix is surprised when he's picked up, and a little flustered, but he accepts it, clinging to Rebound as they make their way to the burger place. "Buggabix thanks Rebound," he says. "What is a burger? Does it have cheese? Goblins are very particular about cheese!" He looks dubiously at the place they find themselves out, almost clinging to her leg like a little kid that doesn't quite trust where he is. |

"It can have cheese." Rebound says as she heads inside with him clinging to her, "Hey!" She calls out, "Basically a burger is a patty of meat on bread, with whatever toppings you want." |
| Buggabix |
Buggabix lets go of the kangaroo once they're inside, blinking inside his mask at the lights and colors. "Ohhh...that sounds good to Buggabix! Rebound is lipflapping his language! Buggabix wants cheese on his, yes...and everything else on it, too!" |
| Rebound |
"Okay." She heads up to the counter, and leans against it, patting a chair next to her for Buggabix, "Hey so can we get a double burger with extra cheese and everything on it for my friend here, and for me, a double with chedar, spicy mustard and extra pickles." |
| Buggabix |
Buggabix hops up beside Rebound, leaving his little knapsack on the floor under the stool. "Nn...now Buggabix has to breathe stinky surface world air..." he grumbles, then takes off his gas mask, setting it on the counter. His head is like most goblins, furry and green with a little white mohawk, two fangs, a blunt snout and beady orange eyes. He looks up at Rebound. "Buggabix thinks that all sounds good...but he wants those 'onyon rang' things too." |

"And some onion rings!" Rebound calls out. The cook will have their hands full no doubts, but she seems to be in a good mood. Probably 'cause they just beat up some bank robbers." |
| Buggabix |
Buggabix rests his snout on the counter. "So, Rebound, what's your deal? You're not a human...but you clothebody like one. You facepunch good, too." |
| Rebound |
"Oh me? I used to be a human but now I'm not." She says, "I'm aparently a kind of rare case, I guess a lot of mutants used to be animals and are now partly human, but I did it the other way around." She thinks about Alopex and Pippi for a minute, or the Turtles, "There's a lot of mutants running around my hometown here." |

"Huh. Are they strong? Buggabix is looking for strong opponents to facepunch," he says. He looks her over. "You look plenty strong. Maybe you will facepunch Buggabix sometime, too?" |
| Rebound |
"Oh yeah, all of them are. But the Multiverse is a big place and there's always people out there to fight." Rebound says, as the food finally arrives and enables them to get all of their meals, "Always someone that needs face punching too, trust me." |
| Buggabix |
Buggabix stares greedily at the hamburger and onion rings, his stomach giving a growl of hunger. He grabs the burger, then opens a mouth full of sharp chompers, biting down on it and chewing a big mouthful. "If goof!" he declares, swallowing and grabbing an onion ring to examine, before biting into that as well. "Hot!" he declares further, spitting out the portion of ring into the basket. |
| Rebound |
"Yeah they're fresh out of the fryer." Rebound replies, "Don't hurt yourself. Take it easy, I know you're hungry but the food's not going anywehre." She says, with another grin, as she casually eats her burger. |
| Buggabix |
Buggabix looks at Rebound, then back at his food, resuming by taking slower bites this time. "Tastes good though...Buggabix likes it." He greedily chows down on more burger, spaced between with onion rings. "Where'd you learn to facepunch, Rebound? You train at a dojo?" |
| Rebound |
"My dad was a professional boxer." She replies, "I won some gold medals for fighting before I got turned like this." She motions to herself with a hand, "I'm not really able to get into the olympics anymore though." |
| Buggabix |
"Huh. Well, you look okay to Buggabix," the goblin replies, in between mouthfuls of burger. "Buggabix thinks it would be goodtimes to punchtrain with you. Or team up again. Buggabix is always wandering, doesn't really have a place right now." |
| Rebound |
"Well tell you what." Rebound says, "You got like one of them linkshell things, or like, a cell phone or something? I can give you a call next time I plan on going out and laying the hell out of some badguys." She smirks and takes a huge bite out of her burger. |

Buggabix nods, smiling. "Buggabix has a linkshell, yeah. He wouldn't mind hanging out with Rebound more...you seem nice!" |
| Rebound |
"Yeah I'll definitely be letting you know when I'm going out. But for now, enjoy your meal on me for the help you gave me with the bank robbery. The cops should have picked those guys up by now." |
