Lyner Barsett      Just moments ago, the Phantom Cocoon, boarded by a group consisting of the Wills of Ar Ciel, individuals from all across the Multiverse, and Lyner and Mir, made landfall onto the surface of the planet. Blasting through the Sea of Death, which turned out to be a literal swarm of Antibodies made to prevent anything from reaching the surface of the planet, they then drilled down through the crust and into the planet's core itself. It was a harrowing journey, but they made it.

Now, they drift within an otherworldly void. A seemingly endless expanse. They are exactly where they need to be now. Everything calmed down, Lyner slowly stands up to his feet and stares off at the main screen and into the void. "...Wow. Look at that." He murmurs aloud, eyes unblinking as he takes in the sight. "That's... amazing. So this is where the Wills of the Planet reside?"

Suzunomiya nods, remaining seated with her hands neatly placed in her lap. "Yes. This is where it all begins." Jade eyes close, and her head cants downward slightly. "Ciela has remained here ever since the disasters that ruined this world. It is where I once was left to fade into obscurity."

Saki nods, dusting her hands off. "Yeah, this is... really familiar, isn't it?" A silly smile forms on her face and she leans back in her seat. "So... I guess it's about time, huh?" She glances aside at the other Wills at that. Ar Ru finally relaxes, breathing a bit deeply as she comes down from her struggle to keep the Antibodies off of them from before. Soma opens her eyes and looks off into the void. "You'll wander this void forever if you try searching for Ciela with just your eyes." It just might be the first time she's spoken since this whole thing started.

Lyner sits back down, frowning at Soma. "Huh? Then how are we supposed to get there?" A careless shrug is the answer that finds him from the raven haired girl. He hangs his head and sighs. But Suzunomiya speaks up then, "There is a way to avoid wandering endlessly." Delicately, she gestures to the Dive machines lining the outer perimeters of the control room. "I believe you call it 'Diving', yes?"
Kazusa Ujikane     Kazusa has been doing a lot of gaping at the outside 'world', if it can be called that. But Suzunomiya points out their method for finding Ciela Herself, and... wait, what?

Kazusa looks at the chairs. At Suzunomiya. At the space outside. At the chairs again. At her card, The Marksman. At the chairs again. At Suzunomiya again. "...oh. That's... that's kind of a relief somehow," she decides. "...I think?"
Yuna Kagurazaka "So this place is a Cosmosphere of sorts?" Yuna wonders, unbuckling from her seat and getting up to stretch her legs. "... Kind of makes sense, given the name. I mean, for all we know, this is *the* original Cosmosphere and the Dive technology was somehow descended from something people discovered early on, somehow."

"Speculation without data isn't going to get you anywhere good," Elner chides Yuna. The blonde looks huffy for the *briefest* of moments at that, but her good-natured demeanor reasserts itself quickly. "Anyway ... it also helps explain why a Reyvateil had to be in charge of this mission."
Reina Kinney Once she's sure they're stable, Reina stands up and stretches her arms and legs as well. "This place is rather unusual, I'll give it that," She says, without the slightest hint of sarcasm in her voice. "If it truly is a Cosmosphere, then it appears I've learned about something new firsthand," She adds, smirking at Yuna, before taking out her hair tie, letting her red hair fall down near her waist, before retying her ponytail a little tighter than before.

Once she's done adjusting her hair, she looks at the others, then outside, then at the consoles again, before looking forwards again. "So now that we're here, we're going diving?" She bites her lower lip a little. "Is that even safe here?"
Jakuri     "Where it all begins, and where it all ends," Mir murmurs a little as she finally opens her eyes as she remains sat upon the throne. Her hands are gripping the arms of the throne tightly as she stares out into that colourful void, the previous interaction with Lyner forgotten for now. She can always worry aboutt hat later, but for now, well... The fate of the world is in her hands. Her world, at least. A quiet, slow breath escapes her as she attempts to calm. In, 1-2-3, out, 1-2-3-4. "So... The last Will hides here, among this... Loneliness. All because of what Humans did." And what she did, really. Although it was not her that started that whole trainwreck, she had her own part in it too. There's just a tickle of guilt in her eyes, for those that care to see it.
William Pauwel Diving.

Yep.

"Just a heads up," Will says as he pushes his console away. "Everything I've read about the subject says that divin' into the planet's core has a real high risk of straight up obliteratin' our psyches. Anything could happen. We might be fine, we might all start thinkin' we're Saki, or we might just be vegetables. It's kind of up in the air."

"The Wills're here to help screen most of the dangerous stuff and keep us intact while we go talk to Ciela, but I'm not sure how long they can keep it up, or how long we'll last even with those safeguards. Sooooo, just so y'all are aware of the risks involved."

"Me, I'm fine with it," he says, hopping into one of the pods. "So let's get a move on. I've got a planet-mind to diplomacize."
Taro     Taro does not appear awestruck by the view, though with his lack of facial expressions it can be hard to say just what his emotions are. "It reminds me of..." He trails off there for a long moment, uncertain whether he should finish the thought aloud or not. Then, he makes a small gesture as he decides to finish the sentence after all. "...the CyberGoddess' Inner Sanctum, within cyberspace."
The android turns away from the screen to look back at Suzunomiya, before shifting his gaze in the direction of the Dive machines as she motions to them. What she says does make sense, based on what he's been able to learn about just How Things Work in this universe. "I wonder...is it safe for one like me to 'Dive', or would I be incompatible? Assuming that any other AIs like myself have tried, that is?"
Deelel So now they are in a very strange place beyond Deelel's life experiance, or maybe not it is fairly cose to some of the things she's run into with afterus but it's different all the same. She shakes her head a bit this is a strange world after all there is no giant ball of metal under presusre nope. She takes a good look to SAki for a momene before she looks back to what's before them. She takes a moment and then tilts her head.

"We need more data before we can assume anything i think. Only one way to do that is to move onward."
Lyner Barsett      Suzunomiya opens her mouth to explain the dangers of DIVING DIRECTLY INTO THE PLANET'S CORE, but Will, ever the studious one, speaks before she can. "-Yes. That is exactly correct. This is extremely dangerous." A very faint smile forms on her lips right them. "But you did not all come this way just to shrink away at danger now, did you?" Saki elbows her in the shoulder then. "Hey, hey, don't scare them! We kind of need them, you know?" Smiling much mre genuinely, the silver haired girl waves a hand.

"But um, yeah. It's super dangerous, but that's why all of us are here to keep the bad stuff from coming in and turning you into vegetables. Or sashimi. Or fries. Or steaks. Or pizza... mmmn." She might be drooling just a tad. An unimpressed look from Ar Ru gets her to wipe her mouth with a sleeve and sit back down. And the pink haired one swivels her chair to look at everyone else. "Whatever it is you think you can do, you don't have all day. Get in there and do it. We'll try and make sure you don't explode for as long as possible."

Soma closes her eyes again and shakes her head. "Do you really want to trust your lives to me? I might just kill you all while you're diving and doom the planet the destruction." Those eyes, dull and lifeless, open up once again. "That would be just fine with me."

Lyner takes in all of this information, then sighs, pointedly ignoring Soma. He's sure she wouldn't try and kill them while they're out. Not at this juncture, right? Right. .....Right. "There's really nothing to do but go for it. We've come this far. Now it's time to see it through to the end." He turns to Mir and smiles. "Have some faith, Mir. Whatever mistakes were made in the past, we'll take steps to right them with this." A goofy thumbs up is given, then he stands up and heads over to a pod himself.

Taro's question is met with a glance from Suzunomiya, and she shakes her head. "You should be fine. AI, Human, Reyvateil. As long as you ave a conduit to link with-" She points to him. "-in this case, your body itself, then you should be able to dive just as any other person would."
Jakuri     The dark look at Mir fixes Soma with is one Lyner won't have seen very often... It's even less that she stomps up to someone with that look in her eyes... And, well. When was the last time a Reyvateil physically struck someone? The swing of her arm to slap Soma's cheek is a sharp one, and she feels it in her flimsy arm but is still cognizant to hop back quickly before an reprisal occurs. "You have some nerve acting like that after you were shown mercy. Your nonchalant bullshit attitude is disgusting, and just the same sort of crap I might have offered when I was adding to this situation and pissing the planet off. If I can get the better of my crap enough to be here to *save* the planet I wanted to enact genocide on, you can maybe stow your shit until we're done. If we fail, we're all dead and you don't lift a finger; but if you *really* want to kill us then you can wait to see if we succeed, and try us out then. Would you really be satisfied with such an utterly feeble and fleeting victory for yourself anyway? Coward." She turns about, rubbing the arm she swung with all her might as she quickly makes her way toward Lyner. Juuust in case.

"Let's go save the world or die trying."
Kazusa Ujikane     Kazusa stares... right at Soma.

And crosses her arms. And adopts a look close to a stern parent.

"Oh no you don't, you're not getting out of this that easily. You got a lot to make up for, and if you try to slack off by killing us all, I will climb out of my dive chair and pinch you by the ear until you apologize."

But that seems to be all she's got to say on the matter, because she's already moving to climb into one of the Dive chairs.
Taro     Taro gives a small nod at Suzunomiya's answer. He didn't include Deelel in his question simply because he still doesn't know exactly how she operates or interacts with the physical world. "Should. Well, then we will see how this experiment goes, hm?" He shifts attention briefly over to Soma, opens his mouth to reply, but then closes it again as Mir makes a much more pointed retort than he or (with apologies to Kazusa) likely any of the others could.
Either that settles it, or that makes this all the worse.
He also moves over to one of the Dive pods and goes to settle in.
William Pauwel Will just stares for a very long time at Soma. Soma and her perpetually sweat-soaked everything.

He stares. And keeps staring. And stares some more.

And then he says:

"Nah. You're a good girl. Even if y'all don't show it."

And then he flops back into his pod. Has he finally attained the mythical... TSUNDERADAR?
Yuna Kagurazaka "Soma, if you kill us, my ghost will come after yours in the afterlife," Yuna says without a smile.

No, she HASN'T forgotten that Soma murdered Ayla. Judging by the look in her eyes right now, she also hasn't *forgiven* Soma for that yet either. She had set both of those aside because there were more pressing concerns. She was on the edge of being ready to just leave those issues set aside permanently, never seeking the retribution that a piece of her still wants - to avenge the death of a dear friend, someone who can never be replaced in Yuna's heart.

But this still isn't the time for it. Yuna pointedly avoids looking anywhere near Soma as she climbs into a dive capsule. "Elner, monitor my vital signs. Jiina, Marina, Erina ... if Soma tries anything funny, stop her."

A flare of light crackles around Yuna's semi-recumbent form, her uniform replaced by the sleek armor of her Light Suit. Elner flits over to hover above Yuna's pod, out of the way of its door; Jiina moves to where Yuna had been sitting, while Marina simply shifts into her armored form and turns her seat to watch whatever is about to happen. Erina stays where she'd been seated from launch, continuing to monitor the readouts on *her* console.
Deelel Deelel says "It's worth the risk to keep this from getting out of control. She listens to what is said and she gets the danger she takes a deep breath as she looks to Soma. "We don't have much choice do we?" She notes and she makes as ready as she can be." This is the next step time to finish this either succeed or die in the attempt ther eis no otherway.
Reina Kinney As soon as Soma makes that comment about killing them, Reina gives one of the harshest glares one could imagine... at least in Reina's opinion. She folds her arms and scowls deeply.

"You as much as TRY to kill me or one of my friends, and I swear before Gurhal itself that your life will become a living hell!" After that warning is given, Reina heads for a diving capsule. "So we're going to do a little deep diving, huh?" She smirks. "This should be fun! After all, danger should be my middle name." She flips her ponytail and chuckles. "Too bad it's already Michaela!"

Once Reina gets safely inside her capsule, she looks towards the others then faces forwards again. "OK, I'm ready to go when everyone else is!"
Lyner Barsett      SLAP.

Saki cringes, but Suzunomiya just watches plainly, looking less than amused that this is all happening to begin with. Ar Ru doesn't even bother looking. Her arms are crossed, one leg over the other as she waits for this nonsense to be done. Soma's head turns with the slap, but she just turns her head back and stares blankly at the Reyvateil. Given all the hits she took previously, it's not a surprise that a slap did nothing. But the point was very well made. She's not going to stop them. But by that same token, who's to say she's actually going to help.

Soma stares at Will, Yuna, then Kazusa, then just closes her eyes and leans back in her chair, shackled arms hanging loosely over her knees. "Whatever. Go."

That all out of the way, and once everyone has gotten settled into a pod, Phonon, who's been standing by ever so patiently speaks up to Mir. "Once you are ready, command the system to initiate a Dive, and designate your desired target." She gestures to the void on the main screen. "The target being that space itself." Once that's said, she bows and steps back. "Do be well."

Once Mir goes and activates the dive, everything for those in the pods goes white. Where there would usually be a loading screen and an introduction, there is nothing. Just white, and a frizzling sound of static. One might feel a headache coming on, but it's not nearly as bad as it could be. It all eventually fades away to reveal a stone platform, crumbling around the edges. All around is a darkened gray sky, and lava as far as the eye can see. Lyner is among the first to open his eyes and come to, standing on that platform. "...Huh? This is it?"

The Wills aren't here to guide them anymore. It's just them and them alone. No mind guardians, nothing. Just this lonely, desolate hell... "I don't see anyone..." He murmurs, looking all around. But Lyner fails to look *up*. Because if he did, he'd see what was descending slowly upon this place.

It's massive. The size of a skyscraper at least. Sickly gray with blotches of red all over. It's got multiple limbs and claws, nothing human about it. And surely, it does not come in peace. There are no voices, no humanoid figures come to greet them with words. Just this menacing *thing*.
Yuna Kagurazaka Dives usually don't incorporate much in the way of combat, but the Matrix Divider is still firmly in Yuna's grasp as she opens her eyes in the Cosmosphere of Ciela. She looks down at it briefly, blinks as though in confusion, and wills the weapon away; it simply disappears in a sedate flash much as when Yuna normally dismisses it.

Then she looks around. "Is this ... what happened to this inner realm? Were we too -"

She pauses, looking up, and her eyes go wide. "Uh - guys, what - what is *that*? Is th-- is *that* Ciela?!"

Considering this is the same young woman who's ready to stake her sanity on the attempt to teach a different cosmic horror what love and friendship are all about, she *really* shouldn't be this freaked out or terrified by simply looking at another such. Or at least, that's what the corner of her brain that isn't desperately struggling against the impulse to collapse into a gibbering heap of terror is endeavoring to tell the pasts of her that *are* engaged in said struggle.
Kazusa Ujikane     They are in a weird, featureless Dive space. This is strange. Kazusa blinks several times, tries to examine her glasses, then puts them back on and looks around. Then up.

After a few silent seconds of that, she reaches up, grabs the back of Lyner's head, and directs him to look upward as well.

"...that's... very... very big," she murmurs, in a very small voice.
Jakuri     No retaliation from Soma, just a directive from Phonon. Her arm numb and aching from the force of the slap, Mir looks just a little sour as she retakes her place on that throne and initiates the Dive as needed. Into the void they go... Into Hell they arrive. Mir arrives with them, dressed as... Miros. Of course she's dressed like a demon. They're in Hell, so she has to look the part, damnit! Beside Lyner, she stands with her arms crossed and her eyes directed upward. "A Cosmosphere is the reflection of a Reyvateil's subconscious... Or thereabouts. In Ciela's case, she seems to feel that..." A glance around the place. "There's nothing left, everything is a meaningless hellscape. And she's the hellish overseer. Great."

So they have Legion upon them! "You could have at least been a bit more original than to rip off the damn Bible, you angry scrubqueen!"
Taro     Well -this- is an interesting sensation. Once he's safely back in his lab in Neo Arcadia, he is going to be thoroughly analyzing all of the data from this Dive. Assuming he ever makes it back there. Nothing is ever certain.
Taro's first act upon appearing is to look down at himself, turning his hands over and back again. He appears to be his physical self, rather than one of his digital avatars. Interesting. Then he looks up, making a quick head count that everyone else is accounted for, then gazing out at the volcanic wasteland surrounding them.
"What is wh--" he begins as he looks over to Yuna, then his eyes following hers. His outward reaction upon seeing the great creature of claws and tendrils is more muted, eyebrows rising, eyes giving a single blink. "--oh." The word is barely formed, with all other words for the moment failing him.
Reina Kinney At first, Reina isn't sure what to expect from the dive, just that anything and everything goes. The bright white causes Reina to close her eyes briefly, while she silently tries to cast a TECHNIC in hopes of easing her headache. Before she can, though, it goes away. Then she senses the whiteness disappearing and she opens her eyes slowly. "Well, that wasn't too bad, although it's not as good as teleporting from... my... ship..."

Her voice starts to trail off as she gets a good look at what's outside. It's not pretty and it's definitely not something Reina wanted to see. "This... is where... we're going??" She shakes her head. "I don't believe it." Then she mentally slaps herself. "Get a grip, Kinney! You're doing this for many others, and if you don't get your act together, this is going to end badly!" Her self-reprimanding does a good job of bringing her back to reality. "All right, whatever's next, I'm ready!"
William Pauwel This isn't Will's first cosmosphere rodeo. It MIGHT BE his last, but he's not about to dwell on that. The Cosmosphere is the realm of the will and the mind, after all. To ruminate too much on one's possible demise is a nearly surefire way of making it an inevitable one.

And still, even prepared for everything he might find, what he sees when he awakens in that place takes his breath away-- and not in the good way. It's a feeling that only witnessing the impending apocalypse can bring about. Horrifying, enraging, daunting, awe-inspiring.

"This..." Will whispers in a hollow breath, "This is... Ciela? There's nothing here. Just this platform, and all that magma, and..."

And that thing, descending from the sky. That incarnation of... Of inhuman, unknowable power. Is it the planet? Its mind guardian? The wrath of the world itself made manifest?

"Well," Will concludes, confidence just a little bit shaken. "At least it's not coral."

Then, a flash of light. Something... Else manifests. It's impossible to tell, physically, what it might be behind the halo of light surrounding it. It's like a tiny, prismatic star, constrained by four dichromatic, revolving rings: blue-to-white, red-to-gold, white-to-black, blue-to-violet.

I apppear to have manifested independently of my shell. the orb says. Fascinating. There's a beat as it seems to regard the thing above them. That is also fascinating.

Damnit gun, get back in your gun.

Will seems torn between staring agog at the little liberated AI, and being horrified at the giant in the sky. He finds a middle ground, somehow.
Lyner Barsett      The massive thing descends, landing upon the magma before the platform and the impact to the surface sends the stuff spray all onto the thing. Better steer clear. That stuff will hurt even in here. Once the magma levels settle again, Lyner, who's been staring all this time, or more like gawking, says something. "That's a reaaaaaaallllly huge Antibody... I uh... I don't even know where to start!"

And of course, Mir makes things worse. Well, not really. They already started out at the worst they could be. This is paltry.

Will's AI manifests into something that's NOT IN A GUN. Lyner stares. "Uh, Will? What is tha- WHOA!" He doesn't get to finish asking because suddenly one of thoe massive gray arms comes sweeping in, violently attempting to toss everyone into the magma and end it all right here. "Okay, she does not want to talk!" Lyner confirms the obvious, drawing his sword and moving in to meet that massive, swinging arm with a defensive push.

     MEANWHILE IN THE REAL WORLD:

Saki, Suzunomiya, and Ar Ru sit together in a rough triangle, facing one another. Their arms are outstretched, palms emanating a radiant glow that empowers each and every dive pod, as well as the throne Mir sits upon.

Phonon monitors the void, as well as readouts on the screen, specifically the status of the Heart of Gaea that remains in the heart of the craft. It will need to be deployed as soon as everything is done. And Soma? ...Soma just sits where she is, one knee raised up onto the chair with her hands over it. She isn't helping. She just grimly looks off at nothing in particular.
Kazusa Ujikane     There is one single, overarching thought on Kazusa's mind as Ciela hits the magma.

'Oh I should definitely have transformed before I entered.'

Whether it would have /let/ her is another question entirely, but now that they're in the Dive, it's a tad bit too late. Kazusa scrambles to dive away from the incoming magma, making a frantic dash away. "W-whoa-! Ciela, wait, please, we're... we're here to talk! We know how you feel, but we-" Here, she stops. Her own choice in words brings her to a halt. 'Feel'. They need to reach Ciela with their own feelings. They need to connect with hers. And they're on Ar Ciel, a world where there is one very certain way to reach another with the feelings deep in your heart.

Kazusa would know. She's been a Reyvateil. Briefly.

"Jakuri! Jakuri, you gotta start singing! You gotta show her how much we want her and everyone on this planet to live! How sorry you all are for what's happened!"
Taro     Taro unfolds and spreads his armor's wings, taking to the sky. Not a moment too soon, as that massive talon-tipped arm sweeps across the spot he'd been standing moments before. With a grunt, he shifts the strap of his canister gun (How did that get here? Wasn't it still secured in the carrycase? He doesn't question it just now.) off his shoulder to bring the weapon into his hands. Safety switches are flicked off as he weaves back and forth to avoid the writhing tenacles. Yet he holds fire, at least for the moment.
"Lyner! Mir!" he shouts, "Do we know for certain that this is Ciela?"
Yuna Kagurazaka "SHUGOSEIHEKI!!" Yuna yelps, the kite shield materializing even faster than it normally does; the Wall of the Guardian Star lives up to its name as usual, and Yuna's terror gives way to determination in a hurry as she grips the shield's straps. The impact of that swiping arm nearly hurls her into the magma anyway, but Yuna re-angles the shield and braces her feet and legs, managing to deflect enough of the force that she doesn't simply get slapped away.

Of course, then she has to fend off the magma that's splattering all over, or at least the part of it that's threatening her personally. Somehow she manages to pull THAT off, too.

"*Are* you Ciela?!" Yuna finally has a chance to call out. "If you are, then please - please, just say *something*! We've come all this way, overcome so much, because we want to talk to you, to plead humanity's case so that you'll accept and nurture them once more! As terrifying and deadly as Ar Ciel is, it's still a world of incredible beauty, fathomless wonder ... it may not be my own world, but I love it nonetheless! I love the mystery of the Reyvateils' songs, I love the people I've met as I've helped fight to protect Ar Ciel, and I want to see this world's history continue, and grow even more incredible!"

There's another realization which has crystalized in the back of Yuna's mind by now: if this is indeed the form taken by a planet's own awareness of its being, Ar Ciel as it perceives itself, then of *course* it doesn't have to look human, especially not *here*. But for it to look so terrifying ..."

If Kazusa hadn't called on Jakuri to sing, Yuna would probably start singing hersef.
Jakuri     "If she doesn't want to talk... We convince her to listen," Mir says smartly. This is further explained by Kazusa's urging her, and she sighs... This WAS for everyone, but perhaps she had a privately more selfish reason than JUST that. That concrete-headed reason that just selflessly prevented them from being boiled alive, prevented their failure. That frustratingly brilliant reason. Ugh. Just briefly, she's boring eyes into the back of Lyner's head for some reason before her hands come together and she closes her eyes. An answer rises for Taro first; "If it isn't her, it's still something of her creation and she can still hear and see what's happening... Chances are though, that IS her. Either way, shoot it, punch it, whatever. Make her listen.
But... What... To Sing...? There's a moment's hesitation before she seems to garner some kind of inspiration, or simply taps into some sense of desparation, beginning to Sing something new and different and sincere; this isn't just an apology on behalf of Humanity, it's an apology from Mir herself, her desire to survive, to make amends for her own crimes as well as a promise to see that everyone on Ar Ciel atones for what they have done too. An honest show of faith in Humanity and it's deserving to live.
William Pauwel Will is no Reyvateil. He's a cowboy, an engineer, an explorer. He doesn't always share his feelings; he wears a hat to help disguise them. And... Well. Suffice it to say, his singing voice isn't all that amazing.

What he can do, though, is help hold this thing off for long enough that the actual heavy lifters can do what they need to do.

Information landscape. I remember something like this. Oracle would attempt to make contact. The little mote of light glows softly as it dodges underneath that massive, mutant limb. Please stand by. Searching for available communication ports.

The mote... Winks out for the moment. Or rather, it starts hovering a good distance from the battlefield and begins whining like some kind of ancient modem attempting a handshake protocol.

"Dadgummit Judgment!" Will yells, rolling beneath that tremendous arm. He just manages to avoid it because Lyner is right there absorbing the blow. He snatches his gun from its familiar place at his hip-- even separated from Judgment, it can still fire. And so he does, blasting white-blue bolts into the Antibody's pseudopods. They need to keep this thing at bay; best way to do that is to kill its ability to fight back!
Reina Kinney Reina uses a teleportation trick by using a quick away-and-return technique to briefly teleport to her ship and then return just in time to avoid being hit by the giant arm... but the magma is another story. "Oh Falz no!" Reina swears sourly as she attempts to dodge the hot rocks and whatnot, not wanting to become more red-hot than she already is. All throughout the time, she's been listening to the others talking, and she, too, wants to try to resolve this peacefully.

"Please listen to us!" She calls out. "We're here to help! We can do this!"
Deelel Deelel has never seen anything like this before. she's done dives before but not like this away everyone goes beyon the pale? No that's not rght but Deelel sometimes has issues with human ways of looking at the world. Onward regardless she stare at the thing before them and hse mouth drops opens.

"What is this...? By my User...."

she's never seen anything like this for a moment she takes a moment after Yuna's statement.

"Ciela! We have ... come to ... talk."

Okay seriously she's feeling a bit overwhelemed here.

Well it's not going to work so well it seems.

Ciela then is sent into the magma, she gets a look of horror on her face but kazusa snaps her out of it.

"...Yes we need you to sing!"

Deelel is made for music but not for direct singing. She will do what she can however as the fight the keybald eis out and she now makes ready to fight and she'll fire aburst of magical energy from her keyblade and then throw it like a boomerang it seems. Her plan is to keep it at bay and hopefully she can help Will buy time for the reset.

"This world shoudl not hear the song of death nore should it's people!"
Lyner Barsett      Yes, Kazusa. You totally should have transformed before you entered. But she seems to have the right idea not too long after.

     Feelings.

It's not fighting, it's feelings that must resolve this. But if she's trying to kill everyone, then there's only one thing to do; hold her off long enough to let those feelings come through. Taro's question reaches Lyner's ears, himself too busy holding off that giant arm alongside Yuna to look his way. "Uh! I don't know! I assume that this *entire* space is Ciela! That could be her! She could be all around us! Maybe she's hiding! We don't know for sure!"

Of course, the massiv gray creature doesn't respond to the various pleas that questions thrown its way. It doesn't seem to react at all in a manner that suggests that it is listening. It just visits violence upon them all. While the arm that Yuna and Lyner are holding off struggles, but pushes them back bit by bit, pseudopods from all around burst out and aim to lance at those below. Will is on top of that, shooting down several, but more seem to take their place, whirling through the air and moving to grab, stab, toss, squeeze, whatever they can manage. There's no technique behind it. Just anger.

Mir begins to sing. Lines of Hymmnos that speak of deep apology on her behalf, as well as apology for for humanity as a whole. But not just that. A promise to make amends for the future. A promise to make Ar Ciel a better world than it once was.

This song, as it continues to be sung, causes the giant to react even more angrily. The figure attached to the very middle turns its attention to the Reyvateil, and suddenly, lightning starts building up. Rapidly, sparks form and dance, and then... a BLAST of lightning flares out in a line right for Mir.

"MIR!" Lyner calls. He looks to Yuna, and speaks quickly. "Sorry, I have to do this!" He breaks off and leaves her to hold off the arm by herself, dashing into the way of the lightning blast. It's there that he points his sword, thrusting it right into the blast. It's split apart at the tip, electricity violently spiderwebbing across the platform and dancing down the surface of his sword, shocking him in the process. But Lyner grits his teeth and bears it. "You're... going...to listen...! Don't... shut it out!" And he looks back. "Keep singing!"

Meanwhile, Judgment flits up into the sky to try and find some way to contact Ciela directly. Searching through space, through any means possible, it seems like there's just nothing available. But... there is just one. Almost imperceptible. But it's there. Like an invisible port never meant to be found. Only to be accessed by those with the right to do so. As soon as Judgment connects to it, what comes next is...

     Die

     DieDie DieDieDie Die Die

     DieDieDie Die

     Die

     Die

     DieDieDieDie

     Die

     DIEDIEDIEDIEDIEDIEDIEDIEDIE

At that point, the entire space is bathed in crushing pressure and visible static as that those terrible words are uttered over and over and over.
Lyner Barsett      MEANWHILE OUTSIDE:

Saki, Suzunomiya, and Ar Ru buckle at the sudden onset of crushing pressure, each breaking out into a cold sweat. Saki pants lightly, her eyes opening. "What... What the heck are they doing in there!? It suddenly got a whole lot heavier!"

Suzunomiya shakes her head slowly, arms struggling to stay up. "Do not... question it... just... FOCUS!"

Ar Ru glares at the two. "Shut up...! All this talking... just... wasting....energy!"

     Soma... is still not helping.
Jakuri     Oh, if only Mir were not distracted, she might be bullying Soma some more. Not because it would help their situation, but because it would perhaps make her feel vaguely better about herself for the scant few moments they may have left. As it is, the one, utmost thing of importance in Mir's skewed and weird little world of secret emotional immaturity, mistrust and loneliness is once again taking a blow meant for her and still doing his best to save everyone else over himself. Her eyes flicker open just briefly as she senses the flash, sees the bolt, suddenly has her vision eclipsed by his arrival and... God damnit Lyner. God damnit. Something new creeps into Mir's song at this point, more than just the emphatic apologies and thoughts of hope, but also a tinge of something deeper and more heartfelt from the Reyvateil herself. Love starts to trickle into the Hymmnos she sings, adding another chorus to proceedings.
Taro     Mir's answer is all the confirmation Taro needs. If the only available option to make this goddess listen is to beat her/her guardian into submission, then so be it.
The android jinks left, falling into a general counter-clockwise circling pattern, trying to keep far enough out of its (her?) reach yet close enough to keep it (her?) from losing interest in him. As he does so, he opens fire, aiming a canister of that noxoius, caustic chemical sludge that worked so well on the lesser Antibodies at the writhing arms attacking the others still on the platform. Followed by another. And another.
He won't lift his voice to join any songs. A Reyvateil he is not, and the lyrics of most hymns to SHODAN would probably not go over well with Ceila. Or they could go over too well, given this goddess' current frame of mind...
...a frame of mind that the goddess shares, quite painfully. His head pitches forward as he cries out in actual pain, and it's all he can do stop himself from dropping his oversized rifle and clutching his chest.
Kazusa Ujikane     Kazusa is left with little to do. She can't sing the way a Reyvateil can; she'd have had to copy Jakuri for that. She's sure just yelling at it won't help on its own - not that she won't try. She has no way to get her feelings across to the highest of the Wills. She has no way to help repulse the attacks they're suffering from all these tentacles, nor to stop that onslaught of thunder, nor... well, just about anything. She can only dodge, and roll out of the way, and hope... and then, perhaps not even that much, when a crushing force of gravity pushes her to the ground.

It's such that she's forced to her hands and knees, then to the ground. She is not a very strong girl. 'Keh... if this were a manga, this's where I'd do something stupid 'cause my alternative is doing nothing at all...' If only she had some way to convince Ciela, to get her feelings across. If only she could just...

    ...wait...

    ...why can't she?

Sheer determination pushes Kazusa to her hands and knees, starts her crawling. Towards Ciela. "Hey... hey, Ciela... Did you know? Most of us, we're... not from here. We didn't have a horse in this race. We coulda just... stayed off world, let you go. We'dve been fine."
Yuna Kagurazaka The pressure isn't letting up. Yuna digs her heels in harder, even tries to dig the bottom point of her kite shield into the ground, and pushes back with everything she's got, to buy even another second's safety - not just for herself but for her allies. If this really is Ciela - which is still not quite clear for Yuna - then she does *NOT* want to talk.

But that doesn't mean they can't force Ciela to listen. Mir is still singing - and there's something in the melody, something in the rhythm, something in the language ... whatever it is, *something* that reverberates with Yuna's own heart. Not necessarily the apology part, but ...

Love.

o/~    My rustling heart overflows with a melody like the wind
Vividly leading me to a tomorrow still unseen
If all the memories I draw are spun into the future,
Can I catch a smiling "someday" in a miracle?

It's hard to sing properly while she's straining against the massive arm, but Yuna does her best. If her voice is strained, if her rhythm is off somewhat, she still does her best to keep on singing - actually trying to draw strength from the lyrics and the music, and letting the flaws drive her to do better, to do more.

o/~    "I feel 'I need you,' I just miss you in my life."
    Don't pull away
Ah, let's go with our hands joined
To the place where our opened future gleams

Emotion is what matters most in a song, at least the way Yuna's always liked to sing, and it's emotions that she's trying to throw at Ciela more than mere words or concepts. And those emotions are on full display as Yuna continues into the first chorus.

o/~    Flap your wings and fly, my heart
Changing sorrow and pain into gentleness
Don't be led astray, my way
The instant we met now shines brightly, transcending time with you
    Yes, forever ...
Reina Kinney Reina's not the best at singing, but she has had some training here and there. Then there's the times she sang to pass time when she was out on her own. But regardless, Reina decides to try to help out as best as she can. She takes a deep breath and clears her throat. "Here goes nothing," She says with a sigh.

With another breath, Reina starts humming along with the song, attempting to harmonize with the music as best as she can. Once she starts to get the feel for the music, she starts to sing along with Yuna as best as she can. She figures, the more voices that are singing, the better.
William Pauwel Judgment seeks and makes contact. What ensues is... Not what the little AI sphere was expecting, if it was truly expecting anything at all. It flickers and quivers, flashes of static blasting across its colorful surface as errors tear through its core logic functions. The AI seems to scream as data blazes across the interface and the whole of the world seems to dissolve into a haze of static and a chaos of Dynamic H-Wave interference.

And then a hand wraps around the sphere.

"Damnit, Judgment! Y'all can't just run off and do whatever you feel like doing! See what just happened!? She's payin' attention now! All of her attention." The little sphere buzzes fitfully. C-c-contact established. A-at-tempting logic re-integration. "What the blazes," Will sputters as he dodges under a pseudopod. Static blasts in his ears. It's hard. Hard to think. Hard to breathe. One smashes into his chest, sends him sprawling across the ground. Still, he grasps that mote of light in one hand and the gun in the other.

Signal confirmed.

D-d-developing translation codex. Deciphering encryption. 3. 2. 1. Error: Syntax mismatch. Correcting...!

"The hell are you even...!" Will yells as another pseudopod lances through the space he was occupying. The leap sends him back, teetering, falling halfway over the edge---!

...Complete. Handshake: b111000000/n. Confirmed. Secure connection established. Execute network command?

"I have no idea what you're talking about, you damn computer!" Will squawks, scrambling himself up a crumbling, grey, stone surface. It's falling apart as he speaks, as he struggles. Things can't get any worse. And so.

And so.

"FINE!" He roars, "Do it!"

Confirmed. Establishing interface. This will sting. A beep. A signal reverberates through the noise. The four rings expand. QuelI->EXetr->EX{syec f iyon}->{ic-b poow}->ExeC->TzW;

And suddenly, things seem... Open.

No. That's not it. A link is opened. The port, that little communication connection that Judgment found is... Held open. Held open for all those here present to use, to speak through, to make themselves known. And yet, these things need sacrifices. Will barely hauls himself back onto solid ground before that wave goes out. Suddenly he screams, pitching forward as blue-grey static blasts up his arm, tearing through the mental construct he presents as in this strange, planetary cosmosphere. "What... Is this...!?"

Interface established. I told you this would sting.
Deelel Feeleings? Fighitng isn't going to work, here it may atbestby time for eveyrone or keep it from flying others. Hymmnos is a heck of a lanuage and it has a deep effect on Deelel from a view point as an artist. For now she thinks and attemps to do what she can to protect the singers now she may be exposed to being attacked but she has a plan she'll move to start casring shell and protect on those wining hoping to get them a little cover but she hears the thing scremaing about dying. she doe snot want to die but the pressure is powerful and he's forced down very hard. Will does something crazy, but it's going to give them a chance so she's going to make the most of it.

Will has networked /everyone/ somehow she won't wuiestion it she will use it.

"My name is Deelel I am a basic program i was made to make art and music. I am a creation of humans as all of my kind are. My creators are not perfect but they can convice of things few could full of wonder and full all their issues and darkness they stuggle agianst it and they never are alone even if they don't know it. I can not guess what it's like to be the spirit of a world to suffer as you have but ... you are not alone. You have never been alone, all those who live on this planet have been with you, do not be afraid to reach out to others. I know my gods can be foolish and lost without my kind...but everyone has worth. I never seen a world like you before. In my travels from the forging of Afterus to beyond I hever never seen anyone like you...we want to help you! Please let us give us a chance..."
Lyner Barsett      Lyner holds off the lightning, keeping it from reaching Mir at any stage. That song needs to be sung and he will make sure that it happens without interruption. Even when crushing pressure shudders through the space, he struggles to stay on his feet, sword arm wavering. "We're... not... going to... give up! Ar Ciel... still has... so many stories... to tell!" He grinds out, using all of his strength to swing his blade and deflect the lightning away into the magma. "Its people... still have... memories to make... mistakes... to make right... Dying now... is just like running away!"

At this point, he falls to one knee, but keeps his gaze on the gigantic creature towering over them, uttering words of death over and over and over. Will and Taro do their very best to hold off the whirling tentacles lancing about, taking down one after the other, all while Judgment opens up a connection. Will... Will is going to feel that in the morning. All of those H-Wave bombarding his form. But it's the opening that everyone aside from Mir can use to let themselves be heard.

Kazusa crawls her way over, bit by bit, towards Ciela. And she speaks of how most of them aren't even from thiss world, but they're working to save it nonetheless. For just a moment, that huge Antibody pauses. But then it resumes.

     DIEDIEDIEDIEDIEDIEDIEDIE

Yuna begins to sing, her lyrics syncing with Mir's Hymmnos and letting her feelings be known. Words that speak not of any one ideal, but of pure emotion itself. These words, along with Reina's supporting humming, cause the giant to pause for a couple more seconds.

     Die....Die die...die... .... ...die...

Deelel speaks of herself. Of her world. Of how it came to be and the struggles that faced it. How they overcame against all adversity. How she wants to help save this world, not bring it to ruin. Ciela's assault stops.

     ..... ......

     ......

Everything comes to a standstill. Ciela appears to be struggling with herself.

Give these people a chance? Or... destroy them? Her entire form wavers, attempting to decide this. But she's not attacking quite yet.
Kazusa Ujikane     "Coulda... coulda just sat at home. Let the people of this world die."

Kazusa crawls. Inch by inch. She couldn't defend herself right now if she wanted to, and she keeps on going regardless. "...but we didn't. We decided the people here, they're... they're worth saving. They're finally getting things together. They're finally getting it right. They... they're finally becoming what you want 'em to be."

As she draws nearer, Kazusa stops again... and then slowly, straining herself, with a monumental effort, gets one foot under her. "Nnnh... but even more than that... even more than them... I can't speak for anyone else, but... I... I wanna save *you*." Up. Up. Until she's on both feet. Until, bowed and huddled though she may be, Kazusa stands. "...I was a Reyvateil for a little while, y'know? I got to hear the music. Got to make it, feel it myself. It was... there's nothing like it in the Multiverse. Nothing like you. It's beautiful." Step. Step. Step. She's still walking right towards the Will of Ar Ciel, something that could crush her. "And... and I don't think you should go out like this. Hurting... alone... it just isn't right. Not for someone as amazing as you. For some/where/ as amazing as /this/." Huff. Huff. "You... you deserve to be healed, alright? It's okay. You deserve it."

Her strength gives out at last, but it's okay. Because she' right up next to the final Antibody, the manifestation of Ar Ciel itself. And she can just let herself topple forward.

She's got one sure way to express her feelings after all, it turns out. Even if it's utterly ridiculous. Even if it's a tiny girl and a vast, alien being.

    Everyone understands a hug.

    "You deserve it," she repeats.
William Pauwel The anti-body... The anti-body stops. The endless string of hatred ceases. Kazusa... Kazusa's still moving. She's still going, talking about the people of this world. The beauty of this world. But Ciela hasn't given up yet. The self-destructive impulse is still there. They'd know, wouldn't they? One way or another, either they wouldn't be here anymore, or they'd all be dead.

Static consumes Will's arm, creeping upwards, swallowing his elbow, then making its way up to his shoulder. He fights through the pain, gritting his teeth, forcing himself to his feet against the crushing onslaught of gravity forcing itself down upon him. "This... The people of this world. They've given so much to just. Keep. Living!"

The young cowpoke steadies himself, Judgment's light blazing out from in his dissolving limb, pouring into the world in thin lances that dance across the magma layer and play over the slab of gray stone. "Because they have hope for a brighter tomorrow. Even after everything that's happened, they still stick together. Not a single one of them wants to abandon this world- wants to abandon you! The cities they've built, all the stories they've made, they're still living, they're still fighting. They're why we've come all this way to talk to you. Because they still want to live alongside you. They want to be forgiven, they want to forgive, they want to keep moving forward together...!"

"Judgment. Show her. This is a place of the mind, then she should be able to see my memories too. Our memories, all the places we've seen, the people we've met...!" The distortion spreads further, up his shoulder now, slowly creeping across his chest. "If it'll convince her, let's give it everything we've got!"

Warning: This course of action is extremely risky and may result in possibly short-to-long-term consequences. Are you su--

"I AM WILLIAM PAUWEL!" Will roars. "There hasn't been a Will Pauwel who's given up yet. And there ain't gonna be one today! Do it."

The static blasts faster, now. Will screams again as he falls to his knees, his memories copied and shunted across that gap. Images, conversations, days spent travelling the great tower, meeting people witnessing the vast green plains and the tremendous white tower, and the songs that they all sing together. He remembers Ayla. He remembers his first adventures in this world.

He shivers as his psyche begins to collapse against the strain, H-Wave interference scrambling across his skin like a swarm of terrible, electronic ants-- but he pushes back. He forces himself to exist.

This... Is what they call Willpower.

But he can't last... Not forever...!

Will he have to?
Yuna Kagurazaka o/~    A vow dissolves in vain, resounding in a dreary night
The fate of passing stars strikes in the heart
In a house of the endless sky, our heartbeats overlapped
What will bring an end to the tears we've endured?

Yuna can't even think at this point, just continuing to sing against the pressure takes everything she's got. Fortunately, this isn't one of the songs she needs to think about.

o/~    "I will never leave you, I want to promise you!"
    Don't forget
Ah, you were the one who taught me
Let's fly forth, carrying the courage to step forward

At least the pressure is subsiding, a bit. Maybe. But Yuna is still fully committed to singing love to the soul and will of Ar Ciel. Kazusa pleads, and topples into an attempt at a hug; Will opens himself up fully, filled with determination and pouring that into their plea to Ciela. And Yuna just is not done singing.

o/~    If the bonds are connected
Don't lose it, but embrace the power
    To protect what's irreplaceable
Every time I know that weakness, I grow stronger
    Yes, forever ...

She might not be able to finish the song. She might collapse. Ciela might snap and go back to killing them all. The Cosmosphere itself might crush all of them from the mental plane and leave their physical bodies as helpless lumps of still-living flesh and blood. Or they might actualy finish convincing Ciela.

Most of the 'message' of Yuna's song is finished, though; the next-to-last chorus is a little different but if her song were interrupted right there, she would still have sung the most important parts. Which is probably just as well. Yuna's fully prepared to go out singing a song of love and hope to the heart of a world that isn't even her own, if that's what's going to happen.
Deelel Deelel could have remained home could have written off this world but she didn't no one here did. Kazusa was right she keeps tyring Kazusa moves to hug. She looks to Will as he's trying to get going her meories? her mind is alwys an open book andshe does't htink much of it as it's normal to her but users? Humans and things like them are not like that. she listens as the other sing.

"We don't want to see you end this way..."
Reina Kinney Reina's not used to singing for so long, but she attempts to keep it going, almost like her mind is focused in a trance or something. She knows that they can win this, but there's no telling what Ciela might do. Still, Reina focuses her mind on her singing as best as she can, trying to keep an eye on Ciela as well. Inside, she's praying that this will turn out OK.

At the same time, Reina's wishing the song would stop, because she's getting thirsty.
Lyner Barsett      When everyone else has done all they could; struggled for as long as they could manage, in the end, it's Kazusa, who's still moving. Well, crawling. Nonetheless, she's doing it. She pours out her heart, about the people of this world, about the Multiverse. She manages to get herself up onto her feet, through herculean effort. She implores the world to stop this madness and go on living. To help them help her to live.

And there it is. Of all the things one could do in this harrowing battle, Kazusa walks right up to the Antibody and hugs it. *Hugs it*.

     Ciela stops moving entirely.

And then there's Will. That crazy bastard, Will. Why? Why is he going so far for a world not his own? He could die. He could scramble himself out of existence from this, but he keeps going. He shows her what he wants her to see. Everything he's witnessed and experience here in this land.

The songs, the words, it all comes together.

Then giant begins to break down. It breaks down into white particles, no words ever spoken. No words of confirmation or agreement. Nothing said at all. But the crushing pressure lifts, the horrible tension drifts away, and the final Antibody breaks down into white particles, shimmering into the gray sky.

Lyner watches this, struggling back up to his feet. "Is... that it?" At his question, suddenly everything goes white, the entire space breaking down and vanishing.

In that moment, though blinding, they can make out the vague outline of a figure. A human figure. It floats in the space before them, long blonde hair watching as everything goes white.

One more chance. One more is all you get.

The dive ends. Ciela... or whoever that was, sends them away. But they know. They can feel it in their hearts.

She's giving them a chance. Humanity is being given another chance.

     BACK IN THE REAL WORLD

Saki, Suzunomiya, Ar Ru, and... Soma(!?), are standing together in a rough square, facing one another with arms outstretched. The glow from their hands dies off as the pressure fades. Saki looks up, panting heavily. "Did we.. did we do it...?" Suzunomiya looks off to the throne expectantly at that.

"We will soon find out." Either they all died brain deaths and Ar Ciel would soon follow. Or... they'll wake up and give them the good news.
Kazusa Ujikane     Dang it. Figures the adorable human transformation happens AFTER Kazusa hugs her last hug.

Back in the real world, Kazusa Ujikane stirs. Her eyes open. She rolls over to get up out of her chair, and-

    WHUMPTHUD.

Well she's not walking anywhere for a while.

However, lying there on the floor, she lifts one arm up, holds it in the air directly above herself... and gives a thumbs-up.
Jakuri     Mir is a little more graceful in her awakening, stretching a bit as she unstiffens and allows her eyes to open with a sigh. "...Hmm," comes her initial sound, a hand rising to rub her face before she simply slips free of the throne and wobbles on over to poke at Lyner. Poke poke. Poke. Whether he likes it or not she ends up in his lap again, curling into something that resembles a ball and not saying a word as her cheek ends up resting against one shoulder.
William Pauwel Why?

Maybe it's because Tellus is in much the same state.

Maybe it's because he knows a people who're giving it all they've got when he sees them.

Or maybe it's because Will Pauwel's got a reputation to uphold, and goddamnit, he's going to do the Dumb Thing when it presents itself...!

Regardless of all else, it seems... They've got through to her. The antibody breaks down, dissolving into a haze of light as Ciela's animosity is, for now, put to rest.

...

The dive ends.

The pods open.

People begin to wake up.

But Will... Is still unconscious.

Breathing. But... He hasn't woken up yet.
Lyner Barsett      Lyner's a bit slower to wake up. In fact, he's prompted to open his eyes from poking. Poke Poke. Poke Poke... Poke... "Mmmngh..." They open and he finds himself with more weight in his lap that he recalls there bei- Oh. ".... Hi Mir." He states, smiling ever so tiredly. Pause. "...You know, I think the throne is actually more comfortable than this, yeah?" But he doesn't actively try to move her. Tired knight is tired.
Lyner Barsett      Everyone's waking up, no one's dead. It looks like...

Saki watches people wake up... oh, there's Kazusa on the ground. She kneels down and helps the girl back up into a chair. "Wow, so... you guys did it!" What else could that thumbs up mean? "You guys did it! Awesome! Ahahahaha!"

Suzunomiya is a lot more subdued, but shhe does smile. "Good job. All of you." A bow. "I had faith that it could be done, but seeing it with my own eyes... Ehehe..." Is that a giggle? From Miss Prim and Proper herself? She looks about at everyone, and pointedly ignores Mir and Lyner... Oh, Will. He hasn't woken up yet, has he? Suzunomiya steps over to his pod, standing before him. "...Will? Will Pauwel?" She reaches in and touches his shoulder. "Will?"

     "......"

Suzunomiya's eyes widen a bit, then she looks back at the others. "What happened in there?"
Yuna Kagurazaka "A lot," is Yuna's succinctly unhelpful reply as she emerges from her pod. Jiina is on her feet in a split second to help Yuna out of the capsule, ignoring a healf-hearted, pro-forma effort to wave her off.

Even if that was all in their minds ,it was still terribly strenuous. Yuna in particular looks like she needs a good night's sleep ... or a couple of them packed into one very long night.
Reina Kinney As Reina opens her eyes and blinks a few times, she looks around and blinks a few times, trying to get her senses back. She holds her head a little as she starts to stand up, feeling a bit wobbly on her feet and dropping to one knee. Fortunately, her boots are made for walking, so she's back on both feet again shortly, but she's still looking a bit groggy as well. "Ugh... what was my surgery for again?" She babbles a little. "I thought my tonsils were fine."

She blinks a couple more times at Yuna and the others, and then starts to remember a little more. "Oh yeah, we were out there... wherever there was... we did what we had to..." She smiles and gives a weak thumbs up, but those both fade quickly. "Now... I need to rest... where's the recovery room?" She leans against a nearby wall, trying to get her senses back, but like Yuna, Reina's going to need a few nights to sleep off how tired she is. Fortunately, Laia is understanding in situations like this, and won't bother her if anything happens. It's just a matter of getting back there without her passing out first...
William Pauwel Will... Continues to be altogether unconscious in a mighty way. It's like he's passed out to hibernate through the coming winter. Something... Else is there, though. Something that definitely is awake.

A light flickers to life at his hip.

User instructed me to establish a direct link with the entity known as Ar Ciel in order to copy and directly project collected memories of time spent on the tower of Ar Tonelico. There's a beat as the light winks off and then on again. There was considerable interference involved in the process. Feedback induction is likely cause of his present state of catatonia.
Deelel Deelel eyes snap open and she mutters "Hello world." She sees they have succeed and she's looking gorggy as she slowly pushes herself up and look to her copenions. "I think...we did it? I need some energy I feel like I have been overclocked..."
Lyner Barsett      Suzunomiya facepalms after Judgment explains exactly what happened. "Is this man insane?" Soma looks on, then simply turns away and sits back down. She did what she had to do. Will's state is none of her concern. None at all. Ar Ru meanwhile looks out at the void, then over to Phonon.

"Well? Isn't it about time to offer the heart?"

Phonon looks over, meeting Ar Ru's gaze. Then she looks over at Will. And then she nods. "Affirmative. Proceeding with Phase Four." With Mir out, the maidbot takes over and types in a simple command on a console; 'Phase Four'.

At that, the craft changes form again, the upper portion opening up as a huge red crystal floats up out of it. Those of whom were at the Phantom Cocoon during Lukes explanation of the world's history a long while back would recall it as the 'Heart of Gaea' that had been secured centuries ago. And now, finally, it's being used.

It drifts into the void, and soon enough, it's enveloped it a radiant light. Everything becomes blinding white right then, and the void is obscured entirely.

Saki shields her eyes and speaks afterward, "So this is it...! The last part of the plan. Here we go."

A flash, and then there's a heavy THUNK of a machine hitting the ground. White fades and the main screen now displays... a ruined and desolate surface world. But something is changing. From far out into the distance, energy races across the land, causing grass to grow gradually before their eyes. The Sea of Death disperses from all over, and the land appears to be rejuvenating itself.

"Wow..." Lyner mumbles, looking at the screen from where he sits, careful not to disturb Mir. "So this is the surface..."
Kazusa Ujikane     Kazusa is able, just barely, to sit herself up after being helped into a seat by Saki. She's a little wobbly, but she does it. That gives her a front-row seat to watch the world come back to life...

And also gives her the opportunity to point her hand straight at Soma. "I saw you over there."

    ...

    "...it's a start. I don't think I'll ever really forgive you, but it's a start."
William Pauwel The gun seems to beep and click. Recording, it says. For future review. It seems to have linked to the ship's sensor suite somehow. Is it saving the footage for when Will has a chance to wake up? What a nice gun!

Physiological analysis complete. I believe that the traditional cure for this is a kiss from royalty of the opposite sex.

Beat.

Which of you is the closest to what they call 'a princess?'
Kazusa Ujikane     Kazusa's head slowly turns towards Saber. Then slowly turns back to Will.

    "Nuh-uh."
Lyner Barsett      Soma looks off at Kazusa. It's a sidelong look, but she does look. "..... ....." Nothing is said, and she just closes her eyes. "I don't want your forgiveness." Unlike Ar Ru, she chose the path of destruction. But now that that path was averted... What should she even do now?

Ar Ru stands up suddenl. "I'm going outside." And she plods off to go do exactly that. The control room doors slide open at her approach and out she goes. Bye Ar Ru. Not too long after, the main screen would catch visual of her walking down into the grass and off into the distance.

Judgment meanwhile trolls- I mean, explains exactly what needs to happn for Will to wake back up. And when he does so, Lyner bursts out laughing. "Hahahahaha! Really? That can't be right!" But Suzunomiya turns a bit red in the cheeks and takes a step back. "What sort of nonsense... You must be kidding!"

And then there's Saki; "Heeeeeeey, Suzu? You're kinda the closest thing here after Saber over there. Do it! Do it! Doooo iiiit, dooooo iiiit, doooo iiiit!"

The purple clad girl glares at Saki. "Silence!" Then, she looks back at Will, unconscious in the pod. Still. "...... Very well." She murmurs. He did kind of suffer H-Wave interference to save a world not his own. She then steps forward and leans into the pod and towards him, slowly... slowly...

Now would be a great time to wake up, huh?
William Pauwel Will seems blissfully unaware of the drama unfolding around his dive pod. His mind seems absent. Lost amidst the roiling sea of Ciela's greater consciousness. And so his gun is there to speak for him. Yes. Thank you for your cooperation, Judgment says, and then goes silent.

Indeed. The silence is terrible. Heavy, heady with anticipation. Suzunomiya, the Princess of the Wills, leans in to be Will's Princess Charming. You can practically, almost, barely, hear Saki's squeal on the very upper end of the human auditory range. Somewhere, a pack of newly-minted wolves howls in pain as their ears are subject to such terrible aural onslaught.

Suzunomiya leans further, inch by inch.

And then Judgement sends a little pulse of electricity into its user's hip. Suddenly Will's eyes shoot open, his mouth parts to yell. He shoots up, knocking Suzunomiya off balance! He scrambles to catch her. There's a flurry of motion, a terrible momentum, and--

Chu~<3

Will's eyes are wide as saucers. He looks confused. Like a startled animal. But maybe not-- not displeased!? "Uh--" Will babbles, breaking away, but still supporting HIS APPARENT SAVIOR if she needs it. "Uhh. Ah. Uh. I... I wasn't expecting... Ehm." He's fidgeting. Romance. No! Why did it have to be romance! "A-ahahahahahaaaaa. S-sorry about that! I didn't. Um. What..."

Beat.

"Uh."

Will has recovered from his state of catatonic unconsciousness!

He is still suffering from a BSOD.
William Pauwel Well. Maybe not blue.

His face is more of a terrible beet-red right now.

RFOD?

     "........ ........"

Suzunomiya quietly and calmly pulls herself back. Quietly and calmly smooths out her robes. And then quietly and calmly turns and walks right on out of the control room without a word or a look back.

     Just.

     She just leaves.

Once the control room's automatic doors slide closed after her departure, Saki, who had a hand to her mouth all the while, bursts out laughing. "Ahahahahaha!"

     Welp.
William Pauwel Suzu leaves.

Saki is laughing.

Will is still standing there, agog, face approximately as red as a tomato. Just... Left there, out in the cold. He turns his head just in time to watch the last of that energy sweep across the landscape. "W-wow." He says.

Whether of the kiss or of watching a world being reborn is... Unclear.
