Guest Psyber     Jeanne's reaction to Psyber's existence was worrying to him, to say the least. And Psyber was not the kind of person to let someone else address his problems for him. So instead, he took it on himself to head to the church at Dun Realtai straight away, regardless of the time of night or the local weather of the place.

It's with a heavy shiver that he pushes inside the church, wearing a heavy silver cross around his neck. He pulls the door shut behind himself as quietly as possible before his red eyes scan around for any sign of the Saint.
Jeanne d'Arc      The Church is uniquely a point of pride for Jeanne, as it is a church... it is her church. She finds this thing the closest thing to home anything else can be. Jeanne is in her normal armored dress wear she wears as the Servant Saber of Black. She is currently kneeling down in front of well... the altar.

     Where else would she be?

When the door shuts, Jeanne looks up, her violet eyes widening. "Greetings." She says, softly, simply.
Guest Psyber     Psyber nods his head to Jeanne when she raises it to look at him, "Greetings, Jeanne. You seemed troubled."

He doesn't aproach her too closely, instead sitting down in a pew and folding his hands in his lap, "I am sorry if my existence troubles you. I wish it would not, but I understand."

His hands come up to grab the back of the pew in front of him, helpfully noting to her, "And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 2nd Corinthians Chapter Twelve, Verse Nine." He looks awkward, "I dunno, a verse that helps me in my weak moments."
Jeanne d'Arc      "You are Psyber, then." Jeanne looks to the side.

"You know my name, so you must understand, then, why I am ... wary. Normally I only see angels in my visions." She finally looks back to him. "But I ... cannot judge... one that is not from my world, which I suspect highly you might be from something /like/ it, but not of it."
Guest Psyber     "I'm not here to give anyone any missions or visions. I'm just a guy who likes to help people." He shrugs a bit and adds, "I don't want you to think of me as an angel or anything. The highest authority I consider myself is a Union Colonel."

He stands up and holds his hand out to her, "I just want to be friends. To know you."
Jeanne d'Arc      Jeanne looks at the hand... then she places her gloved one in his prooffered one. "I am sorry, for my reaction." She says, carefully, calmly. "You know... of my history... I presume?" She says, hestitating slightly.
Guest Psyber     Unless Jeanne stops him, Psyber slips off her glove and kisses the back of her hand firmly, "A pleasure to meet you in person," And then he actually doesn't release her hand, instead holding it tightly in his own as he kneels down next to her at the altar, "I know your history, but that's your business. People's pasts are theirs. I care more about the present you than who you used to be."
Jeanne d'Arc      Jeanne makes a surprised noise when he kisses the back of her hand. However, considering their location, she doesn't push it. She gives him a tight smile. "I was more referring to the ... way I was brought up... and the world I died in, m'lord Psyber." She says, quietly. "People like you would end up like me. It is... new. Strange. Many things seem like magic."
Guest Psyber     Psyber releases the hand a few moments later and nods, "The Multiverse is a more accepting place of people like us. I no longer have to live like an outcast of two worlds, for example." He confesses to her, rubbing his hands together, "I apologize if I made you uncomfortable just now with the..." He points at her hand, "You can smack me if you like." He laughs nervously.
Jeanne d'Arc      "A harmless kiss? Why I would truly be shamed for doing so, especially in the church." Jeanne says, gently. "It was a gesture, nothing more." She says, gently, reassuringly. "Thank you, though. It is good to know that... there are worlds where people do not have to go through what I did."
Guest Psyber     Psyber lifts up a hand and pats her on the back, "If it makes you feel better, you can consider me more of your guardian angel than any sort of arbiter or mission-giver," He teases a bit, smiling back when she reassures him, "And it's good to know I did not upset you." He smiles back at her, looking her right in the eyes as he does so.
Jeanne d'Arc "If you're my guardian angel, how'd you end up with Gawain?" Jeanne asks, her violet eyes twinkling in amusement.
Guest Psyber     "He needed someone to help him win his war~." He answers simply, looking over at her and then poking her in the side, "We should meet outside a church some time. Lemme buy you lunch."
Jeanne d'Arc      Jeanne sniffs faintly. "I see." She then blinks at him. THen asks, her nose scrunching up slightly, "Are you asking me on what Master Shizune calls 'a date'?" Damn it, Jeanne.
Guest Psyber     Psyber coughs a bit, "What? No!" Well he sorta was, "A friendly lunch! I wouldn't dream of trying to date such a pious woman."
Jeanne d'Arc      "Oh. Okay." Jeanne says, laconically. She considers him for a few moments. "I would have had to turn you down, anyways."
Guest Psyber     "Why is that?" He asks to her curiously, tilting his head to the side a bit.
Jeanne d'Arc "I am married to my faith and my role as a servant of the Holy Grail War and my duty that I have been brought back to do." Jeanne says, simply.
Guest Psyber     Psyber nods his head and laughs, "I'd be a terrible boyfriend anyway. I'm a workaholic who lives dangerously. No one wants to be saddled with that," He notes, giving her a pat on the shoulder.
Jeanne d'Arc      Jeanne says gravely, "I am sure that He is looking out for you and you'll find the one that will compliment you nicely." Like Bediver and Saber. Jeanne says, in her head.
Guest Psyber     Psyber smiles, "Yeah, we'll see." He says vaguely, and without commitment, "All things with a plan. I won't keep you much longer, though. It's been nice to meet you," He says, standing up.
Jeanne d'Arc      "For everything there is a reason, and a time and purpose under Heaven." Jeanne says simply, before she stands and bows in a good bye gesture.
