Thor METASTASIS EARTH
OUTSIDE A RESTAURANT IN JAPAN
EARLY EVENING

THEN

Two large men in suits stand outside a traditional Japanese restaurant. They're ostensibly the security, but who's paying for them isn't clear unless you're a local or in the know, and then you'd know not to cause problems at this restaurant. There's something else about the specific people who run this restaurant, though, that interests one man from another world. Wearing armor and a red cape, with a very nice hammer at his side, the fair-skinned muscular man with shoulder-length blonde hair and a goatee-beard steps forward from off the street, glancing at the two men briefly. They look at him like he's bizarre, but don't stop him from entering the restaurant.

It's traditional Japanese fare, with about 20+ tables. The kitchen is visible, with chefs hard at work, and a hostess comes up as the door opens, only to squint a little when she sees the odd situation in front of her. The man, meanwhile, pays it no mind, glancing around the restaurant and stepping forward, before shouting out for the whole place, full of diners, to hear him.

"Wizards! I am Thor, son of Odin. I demand an audience!"

Everyone turns to stare, as a foreigner with his phone out, livestreaming his trip and his meal, moves to take footage and put it on his channel, just catching the interesting statement. As the hostess moves to figure out something to say, a man comes out of a backroom near the kitchen, a big guy who looks decently intimidating. The Asgardian god starts moving towards that room, as the enforcer tries to stop him. He doesn't get far until Thor has pushed open the door, with the thug being the only thing preventing him from directly entering, putting his hand on Thor's shoulder. But it's enough.

In the back room, there's several men, including a tall and lean man in a suit and a massive man made of muscle covered in tattoos. There's a skinny young man, probably in his early twenties, tied to a chair, bloody and beaten. He mouths something as the door opens to the soundproof room. 'Help me'.

Thor turns to the guy holding his shoulder. Their eyes meet. The thug strengthens his grip. It's time.

NOW

The thug who had stopped Thor is leaning against a side wall of the restaurant, wheezing and clutching his shoulder from where he had been thrown. The restaurant is a bit of a mess, as patrons move to exit or get away from the fight where they can, and staff moves to bunker down. The two guys out front come in, grabbing knives and flanking Thor, while ten other men, including the two boss-looking guys (the big dude and the man in the suit, who is holding a knife), surround the god. They have a mixture of melee weapons, knives and bats and even a guy with a sword, including one guy with a big sledgehammer, ornately made, crackling with electricity. Another begins to create fire from his fingertips.

Reinforcements have already been called, and are coming from other nearby businesses, soon to arrive. Meanwhile, the livestream and subsequent tweets about the 'blonde dude with a hammer and a cape getting into a fight' are picked up by various Multiversal sources and monitors. There's going to be a situation, for sure.

Maybe some people might make it worse?
Ryouma Sakamoto     It was just Ryouma's luck.

Earlier, a concerned family member showed up to his office, saying someone dear to them had been taken hostage and would likely be tortured or worse. Ryouma adjusted his fancy detective's hat and got to work immediatly.

    NOW, well...

"Ah, that's not good," Ryouma says, from the restaurant across the street, glaring out the window at the mess. Oryou doesn't distract herself from her plate of frog legs. "Oryou, you can finish your meal, I'm going to get in there before it escalates, alright?"

Oryou glares up from her plate. "No."
Oryou gets up, and takes the plate with her. "Oryou isn't letting Ryouma go alone," she insists.

"Ah... alright, let me pay our check before we go then," Ryouma sighs. Fast-forward a few minutes.

"Please stop, you might injure the bystanders!" Ryouma pleads as he enters the Yakuza-owned restaurant, looking between Thor and the men he's fighting.

Oryou floats behind him, holding a plate and eating from it like none of this currently matters.
Orchid      Sometimes to do something properly, you have to put in the footwork. In this case, researching the records of naval operations in the Second World War. Which is how Orchid managed to be not too far away when the news broke on police scanners, internet postings, and other such means that there was trouble.

Once S&R, always S&R. Notes secured under a tree, she leaves the shrine she was visiting, using dash-boots to leap over traffic, arriving in only minutes.

As she approaches, Orchid can hear the static of the electric sledgehammer; it's a modest annoyance to her EM-sensitive self, but not painful yet. Once she gets there she will again leap over any police line, but not go into the restaurant yet. She's still trying to get an idea of what is going on. Who is this guy taking on several locals? And what should her robotic self do about it. She does recognize the other responders so far. "Hello Oryou," she says to the magical woman, not wanting to interrupt Ryouma.
Doctor Strange THE SANCTUM SANCTORUM

Inside a richly furnished study, Doctor Stephen Strange converses with Master Wong. "I'm heading to Japan," says the Sorcerer Supreme as the Cloak of Levitation settles around his shoulders. "Radio's blowing up about an Asgardian causing trouble."

"Pick me up some anpan," absently says Wong as he files away a recently acquired magical tome.

     "You got anpan money?"

     "I'll owe you."

     "No."

The surly, solidly built master turns and gives the Sorcerer Supreme a sour look. "Fine," he says, striding over to Strange and slapping a wad of loose bills in his outstretched palm.

METASTASIS JAPAN

The sorcerer enters the restaurant from a hole burned into reality. He gives Orchid, Ryouma and Oryou a courteous nod. "Hi again, guys," Strange softly utters before clearing his throat. "Thor Odinson! I'm Doctor Stephen Strange, Sorcerer Supreme of Earth. You wanted an audience, you've got one." Maaaaybe that'll get Thor's attention? He doesn't know which 'wizards' he means, but lots of people have called /him/ a wizard, so.

"Also, guys, false alarm--I'm the wizard here, so you guys can get back to..." Strange's emerald eyes flick between the knives and powers on display in the restaurant, and the sheer number of guys that Thor has managed to piss off. "Being gangsters."
Sakata Kintoki      Nothing beats a leisurely ride down the highway going, listening to the rumble of a motorbike and feeling the wind in your hair. Leisurely in Kintoki's case means blasting down the highway, of course, just barely staying under the speed limit.

Kids could be watching. He's not going to set a bad example or anything.

Hearing news of a disturbance over the radio normally wouldn't take him off track, but hearing that a muscled blonde giant is at the root of it? That's got potential for a good fight. Swinging onto the off-ramp, Kintoki descends from the highway and makes a fast track for the restaurant in question!

It's just taking a while to actually get there now that he's not on the highway. It takes some doing without bothering to ask for directions, but he finally shows up at the restaurant with an excited shout. "Hey, come on! Let's rock!" He dashes inside at a blistering speed, running right past Ryouma and Oryou, past Orchid, and leaping into the air above Doctor Strange.

"You want a fight, let's fight!" And then he descends with a flying kick, sailing right past the Yakuza and straight towards Thor, grinning all the while. Surely someone this jacked could be worth the mess!
Inga Freyjasdottir When it was suggested Inga go somewhere warmer, apparently that place happened to be Japan. As with most of the trouble she get into lately, it was snack driven. She'd wanted sushi. It isn't exactly the time and place you would expect Thor to show up.

When she hears something about a big blonde man wielding a hammer over her linkpearl, she goes to investigate, and finds Thor beating up people that hopefully, presumably, deserve it.

Truly, she has no idea what's going on, but its probably safe to say, at least for now, Thor's side is the side she wants to be on. So she starts as she so often does, with drawing her knife and slicing into her forearm before flinging an aura of fine crimson mist around herself by way of a ward.

Her eyes widen slightly when she sees a familiar portal, and a now familiar person step through it. She blinks. "Good evening Doctor, any idea what's going on here?" she asks.
Thomas Alva Edison     SOMEWHERE, USA:
Edison, leaning over a circuit board, and a small one at that, a oversized and probably not helpful magnifying glass held by a DC POWERED REMOTE HAND holding it so he can do careful work. However, a Aid bursts into the room.

"Sir, there is lightning over Japan, people are thinking we're invading?!" Edison looks up, with a long sigh. "Another delay on this device for the King of Heros. Alright, fetch my jacket, do not moblize anyway, and tell everyone to stand down."

    Moments later, after enough time...

Edison appears on sight, manifesting in a coat. It was probably going to rain, because lightning usually means such. "Ahem. Thomas Alva Edison, Presiking of the United States of America...so..." A beat as his recent GREEN CARDED friend surges through and starts punching the Yakuza.

"Well, that escalated quickly." he says, looking towards Doctor Strange.

"Do you know what's going on here?"
Lezard Valeth Well, that escalated quickly.

But then, there is someone who has become involved with this world recently that is used to things escalating quickly in THIS situation. Oh, does he know.

This is why there is a surge of energy as a teleportation circle draws itself on top of a nearby building, a dark figure manifesting as he travels from points distant, warping space to stand there gazing down with gleaming glasses.

"Now, what are /you/ doing here.... Thor Odinnson?" Lezard mutters to himself. He doesn't move immediately. Instead, he reaches into a ripple in space, pulling out a book without title that opens before him, the pages turning rapidly... And he looks into those pages. His hands weave through the air, a scrying spell being assembled and cast into the building, a small mystical sensor that relays the surrounding view to his book.

This place is crowded, it would be imprudent to simply confront the Asgardian with so many uncounted variables.
Thor Thor hasn't gotten too much into the fight yet, looking for an opportunity to strike, when Ryouma and Oryou come in, shout, and cause everyone to pause. The blonde Asgardian turns, and seems to be about to say something, probably to heed him or reassure him, when others come in, including Doctor Strange. It's Doctor Strange's statement that gets everyone's attention, especially Thor's. The yakuza look between each other, waiting to see what happens, not jumping in yet when there's this many people potentially on his side.

"Ah, there we go." Thor nods to Doctor Strange. "I seek answers about these so-called 'legend ghosts'..." It seems Thor's going to stand down, though he does make sure to say. "Ah, but there is a young man being held prisoner back there, so-"

And then Kintoki comes flying out. The kick impacts with Thor's chest, sending him stumbling backwards, the sheer power behind the kick hurting the Asgardian and setting him off his game. At this time, the man with the sledgehammer comes swinging at Thor, trying to electrocute him. He probably named it Mjolnir.

Thor stops it dead in his hand, though the electricity surging through it does burn his skin slightly. He glances over to the yakuza guy. "You call this a hammer?"

And lifting it up, with the guy still holding it, he moves to swing him around and into Kintoki, trying to send the two flying backwards. At this point, the massive Yakuza boss claps his hands together and points forward, signalling an attack. Looks like they're not going to let him just walk away after that. Woops!

The bystanders are probably going to be in trouble in the aftermath of this, including that tourist is still filming (this is his most successful video yet, he can just taste those Youtube bucks). Lezard can see everything clearly, including blindspots for attacks, while everyone else has an opportunity to make their action now. Are they going to stay in the middle of the fray where the fighting is surely going to happen, get involved themselves, or move back for a different option? Or perhaps go help the hostage in the back room?
Doctor Strange      Inga and Edison both receive a response. "Thor just went viral yelling about wizards, so I figured I'd stop by. Defuse the situation." He gestures towards Kintoki flying over his head, with his usual vaguely sour expression. "That is, until the president of the Judas Priest fan club showed up."

He listens to Thor's response. "Got it," he says with a nod. "Let's take care of that first, then." Without approaching the Yakuza, Strange adopts a centered stance and thrusts a palm outwards as if striking an opponent. There is a sound of shattering glass, and anyone looking out of the front door of the establishment (or looking in from the outside) can see a barrier of immaterial broken glass that envelops the restaurant completely.

The barrier is passed through easily, both by those inside and outside. It mainly serves to prevent the now inevitable fight from damaging the 'real' version of the restaurant, carrying everyone (including Lezard's scrying sensor) into the Mirror Dimension. The ground beneath the Yakuza goons closing in on Thor is promptly rotated several times over, as if someone had picked a section of the restaurant up and rolled it down a hill.

At the other end, closer to the entrance, there are suddenly several Stranges, each one appearing by a table with patrons yet to evacuate. Each one of these Stranges opens a portal, allowing them to leave. And in the case of the tourist, Strange literally /throws/ the portal at him, dropping him off at the police station and closing it behind him. Once the bystanders are gone, the Stranges all disappear in flashes of green light, one after the other.
Thomas Alva Edison     "Did he say there was someone being held back there?" He asks as the two collide. It is interesting to see the raw force of electricity being used like this, and then he looks towards Strange.

"I see. Well, this has gotten messier than it had to be. Well, we should probably take ca..." And then Strange does crowd control.

Edison, decides simply to start walking to the back to make sure the gentlemen Thor was talking about was alright. He doesn't know if this was some sort of consentual thing...

"Hello? Man being held back here, I can not speak your native language, so if you can hear my voice please respond." he says, starting to search through the back of the resturant.

The large, barrel chested, RED, WHITE, AND BLUE lion does not look for a fight, but will barrel through Yakuza if any step in his way. Even if it means dragging them with him.
Ryouma Sakamoto     "Hello," Oryou says to Orchid, between bites. Bites is a very generous word, it's more like swallowing entire frog legs, bone and all.

Ryouma looks infinitely more concerned about the situation though. Especially as people walk past him and magic hammers go flying and... well this is, really, really bad now. Good thing bystanders are already running, but what if they scale this up? There's more than one restaurant here. There's other buildings! Full of people.

Good thing Strange is on it.

    Right, the prisoner.
That's why he came to begin with.

There's too many gangsters in the way for him. Maybe if he was willing to let Oryou clear a path. Ugh.

Ryouma draws his katana. He leaps to Thor's aid, seeking to disarm (not literally disarm) the nearest Yakuza grunt.

    Oryou continues eating, watching Ryouma.
Inga Freyjasdottir Inga looks between Thor, Strange, and the others, shaking her head. Maybe she should have stayed home. "Legend ghosts?" she asks quietly, wondering what on midgard he's talking about, though perhaps it should be obvious. "I..see," she responds.

The transition into the mirror dimension has her eyes widening. She feels the shift, her lips forming a small o of surprise. "Oh...that is interesting," she remarks, then watches as Strange evacuated the rest of the bystanders.

She clears her throat. "I will see if the man in the back needs help," she says, and follows Edison. Hostages often need healing, afterall.
Orchid      Orchid returns greetings to Doctor Strange and Edison. Inga she doesn't know, and Lezard is too far away for her to notice yet. Then comes the kick, and the fight resuming. At the announcement of there being a prisoner in the back, the reploid holds her left hand to the bridge of her nose. "Why can't things be easy?" On the other hand, Doctor Strange's trick with the temporal clones and portals does mean she won't be diving in to pull idiots out of the way.
No, Orchid is dashing into the building, trying to move not around but over the fight, using the rocket surfboard she summons to clear the worst of it, and dash boots to slam into the back wall. Of course, as she did so, she was scattering spider drones, which she directs to help quell the fight. Anyone knocked to the ground will be swarmed, and webbed. Probably starting with the guy Thor just tossed, and maybe also Kintoki.
Lezard Valeth From his position, Lezard blinks as he watches the proceedings, space shattering as Strange invokes the Mirror Dimension. His eyes widen, and he smiles widely. "Well well. I wonder if I have met with someone who might be a peer after all..." He says to himself, his hands rising. He's seen what he needs to see.

If Strange is capable of sensing it, the Mirror Dimension suddenly breaches, another opening tearing its way into the multidimensional space in the back of the building. While everyone else deals with Yakuza of various stripes and removes bystandards, there is still the matter of the hostage.

The bound, beaten, bloody hostage suddenly gets to look upon the dark Sorceror as he drops into the room from a seething pit. Though he inevitably will gasp and shrink from Lezard, the man reaches out and grips the man's shoulder. "Fear not." The Sorceror says. "I have come to give you the help you requested..." There is a small, malevolent smile on his face as he withdraws a vial full of crimson powder. "Consume this, and your pain will be put to an end." He says. "Just do me a favor, would you?" There is a sizzle of flame as the bindings snap, letting the man free. He gives the man the vial, and draws away. "Give my regards to Thor, would you?" He steps back as the hostage pours the dust into his mouth in gratitude... And immediately begins to gag, clutching his chroat as the Sorceror vanishes from the room.

Those heading for the hostage suddenly feel a terrible, dark power from the room, a choking, agonized noise before it recedes into a colossal roar. Suddenly, the wall dents, the door shuddering.... And the next impact puts a massive crimson claw through it, a hulking red demonic form lunging through. The thing looks like it is made of meat and pain, claws and horns, green eyes staring out with hunger and madness as they look past Edison, Orchid, and Inga, focusing directly upon the battling Thor.

"THOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOR!" It howls in a scream, trying to launch itself /through/ those in the way towards the Asgardian.
Sakata Kintoki      Even with that single kick, Kintoki can tell that there's a clear difference between Thor and the Yakuza in the surrounding restaurant. There's an impressed glint in his shades as he watches Thor take hold of the sledgehammer brother, grunting lightly when said brother is swung at him like a... Guy being swung at him.

Kintoki's a fighter, not a poet. Instead of being knocked back, he stands his ground and catches the guy, grabbing on in turn. "This is more like it! You ready to have a gold-class fight?!" There's a wild smile on his face, but it halts when notices that more of those Yakuza are coming forth.

Also, spiders. Also, someone else screaming at Thor. ".. Oi! This is our fight, ya damn punks!" And with that, he moves to try flinging the sledgehammerer aside before zeroing in on.. A demon?! Kintoki's expression darkens (even with the shades) as he moves in for a lightning-powered punch straight to its screaming face. "You're not getting in the way either, demon!"
Thor As Doctor Strange moves to join with Thor and transitions the area to a mirror dimension, a few of the thugs moving to become reinforcements are confused by it and scared to touch it, while others push their way through. They're just holding bats and are likely incredibly easy to just take down, not having all the weird magical weapons these guys do, but they're still extra numbers. The patrons and staff start taking the portals, and the tourist is ejected to his great disappointment.

As the yakuza are rolled around by Strange's manipulation of the ground, the man in the suit rolls out of the way of it as soon as he notices the disturbance, while the big guy stands his ground, pushing aside and not going directly after Thor. Those yakuza who are attacking him have a bumpy trip, dropping weapons, while one who manages to hold his ground and slices at the Asgardian with his katana has it sweeped out of his hand by Ryouma's expert swordsmanship. Three of the yakuza stay down, allowing Orchid to web them up. That leaves eight, including the two bosses, still on the field, though most of them are disarmed.

The man with the fireballs starts spraying them everywhere, blasting left and right at everyone he can. They're small, but they pack a decent punch, as he keeps shouting out incantations. Another wizard starts shouting his own incantations, and one of the fireballs explodes mid-air, before reforming into a humanoid shape. It immediately is manipulated to charge Strange, moving kind of clumsily but quickly, kind of like someone playing QWOP decently well. If it makes contact with him, it's going to burn.

As Edison and Inga head for the back, there's two problems. First is the big boss, who moves to stop them. As Edison barrels through a guy, he goes flying. As he barrels into the boss, he finds what is basically a brick wall in his way. Heat begins radiating off the man's body, as he moves to try and punch Edison head-on with what feels like superhuman strength, and then hit Inga with the same. The room starts getting hotter as he radiates that heat, like it's sweltering, and a sort of orangish aura begins to build around his blows.

The second problem is the ghoul barreling out of the door. It's strong enough to push the boss aside (he starts moving as it comes out, if he gets a chance, to try and not be in the middle of the fight), and comes straight for Thor. The suited boss takes this as an advantage to slide his hand over his knife, growing it into a massive machete. It also begins sweltering with the heat, the aura building over it, as he swings a heatwave at Thor, Strange, Ryouma, Orchid, and Kintoki. It's got enough force behind it to actually injure and scald. Kintoki might recognize this from his days as a hero...

Whether or not someone moves to stop the ghoul, Thor pushes his way towards it. He was definitely going to fight Kintoki, but now he has to put that on hold. Thor grabs a hold of Mjolnir, and charges forward, putting on the hammer's strap and moving to swing it into the beast's chest. "Now, where did you come from...no matter!" Mjolnir is strong, a work of art, and Thor knows how to use it with a millennium of experience. As he aims to crack as many bones as he can, lightning starts rippling through the hammer to try and shock the monster at the point of impact. He probably impacts at the same time as Kintoki, which might be interesting.
Doctor Strange      Strange nods at Edison and Inga. When they, Ryouma, and Orchid pass over the rotating part of the restaurant... it's weird, but they can just walk (or in Orchid's case, fly) through it, no problem. Making an impromptu tumbler out of the scenery can only last for so long, though. Eventually, the gangsters will roll out of it due to skill or circumstance or both--so Strange stops it, preferring to put control of the fight into his hands, and those of his allies. Tables, tablecloths, and part of a bar now rest on the ceiling, seemingly none the worse for wear, and in clear violation of gravity.

It turns out this was a good idea not just for offensive strategy, but to preserve lives. Orchid, Ryouma, Edison and Inga will have a much easier time getting the Yakuza clear of Lezard's monster without a carousel of wizard bullshit tossing them all over the place. Between that, and Orchid's earlier attempts to web them down, getting them to safety should be attainable. He hopes.

"Headed your way, Thor!" Palms facing outward, one beside the other, each hand moving in tandem to trace a circle of orange light through the air. Interconnected geometric patterns fill in the space of the circle, forming an elaborate, burning mandala. Strange turns it on its side and sends it flying towards the God of Thunder, where it deforms in the air and takes the shape of a round shield to use against the monster. And Kintoki, if it comes to that. But hopefully, the... demon, or whatever it is, will keep his interest.

Burning Man is kind of hard not to notice, which is fortunate for Strange, because, as of late, he's had about all the fire he can stand. Two hands circle around either side of his body, as if preparing for a powerful strike. The ground beneath the flaming construct begins to accelerate in the opposite direction, the floor of the restaurant taking on a strange, kaleidoscopic pattern as it shifts and feeds into itself. He's basically trapped it on a treadmill.

With one hand resting atop the other, he pulls both behind his waist and thrusts outwards, a ray of freezing cold blasting into the construct.
Thomas Alva Edison     Edison is caught between a brick wall, and a rampaging monster.

How did this situation get so out of hand..? The punch of the Really Strong Boss, crashes into the mighty defensive force of Edison. The two collide, causing a shockwave that causes dents all along the hall way they were in. Edison is pushed back for his efforts, sliding against the floor and creating large streeks of Edison sized marks. This is followed by the crimson creature, who pushes him away to get at Thor.

Edison is starting to have it with whatever is going on here...his eyes narrowing...no, it wasn't time for that. Strange was here, and they, together, could handle this. If things went anymore SOUTH....

Edison closes on the boss. "This is for your own good, son." he says, and aims to clobber the man once...twice...and then flex his arms to each side.

The AMERICAN LASER fires from the chest, aiming to burn into the Yakuza. Hopefully, Strange has a portal ready for him so he can be ejected safely.

"Young lady," He says towards Inga, "Are you alright?"
Inga Freyjasdottir Naturally, as they move toward the back there is resistance. She will absolutely let Edison lead, as he is far less likely to be taken out of this by being mega-punched. As he comes for her second, she is glad she's already put up a ward, and hopefully she can manage to get more distance between herself and him by way of a lightning bolt straight to the chest. She throws out her staff, hissing an incantation in Old Norse as electricity joins the heat radiating through the air. The bolt is discharged, only for a giant monster to barrel out of the door, yelling for Thor.

Inga just barely gets out of the way, falling into the wall, but not over, luckily.

She blinks toward Edison, then nods. "Yes. Let me ward you," she says, then draws her knife again to re-open the wound in her arm that has already healed. She flicks the blood toward him and it blossoms into a cloud of shimmering magic that smells like iron and honey. It would hasten his natural healing and help buffer against incoming damage.
Orchid      Was there a plan? Maybe at one point, but not any more. But given how many mavericks use fire, Orchid's energy shields were designed to resist heat. They can't completely stop such an attack, singing Orchid around the edges, but they do blunt it.

Fine. Ghoul over there. Yaukza mooks that way. Yakuza wizards the other way. The repoid sighs. She isn't a specific target yet, so her brain still operates, but the fear is there. Still, there is a job to be done, and Orchid is skilled at getting humans out of fights. "Once more into the breach," she mutters to herself, before launching back in to the worst of the melee. She'll grab two of the yakuza mooks that Doctor Strange's spell dizzied, drag them out by the scruffs of their necks, and pull them out of the restaurant.
Once she gets them outside, Orchid will drop the two by Oryou's feet. "Do me a favor and keep these two out of trouble," she requests, before turning around and heading back in.
Ryouma Sakamoto     Orchid drops two grunts by Oryou and runs back inside.
She looks at her empty plate.
Then down at the two mobsters.

The shadow Oryou casts on the ground above which she's floating suddenly spreads like a dark spot on the ground, growing to encompass the two men. A massive serpent's shadowy maw forms and seems ready to swallow them whole, until--

Oryou pipes her head up when fireballs start flying around, two very large humanoids make themselves known, and Lezard's latest pet roars in anger.

The next moment, Oryou is between Ryouma and the flames, letting the heat wash off her skin and school uniform like she's a wall of her own. Resistance to magic helps.

The plate hits the ground, where she used to float, a few moments later. The two men are no longer about to be eaten. Lucky them.

"Ryouma, watch out. Those are onis," she points out to him, but technically also to everyone else. She means the two burly Yakuza humanoids, not Lezard's monster. That, whatever it is, she has no idea.

"This is even worse than what happened outside the office," Ryouma comments back at his wife. She shrugs.

The two attack together - they're going to Thor's aid still, gunning for the massive demon. Ryouma's coming in from the left, to cut with his blade. Oryou from the right, trying to punch it in the ribs.
Sakata Kintoki      Following that joint attack against the ghoul, Kintoki shakes his hand off with a brief grunt of exertion as he starts assessing the situation a little more carefully. That ghoul didn't quite feel like a real demon as much as it looked, but something still feels off to him. What exactly that something else is soon becomes apparent with how strangely things are going.

Stranger, anyway, even with Servants and people from other worlds around. It's not the first time he's seen reality warping going on, and lion-heads are... Well, there's something to be skeptical about there, but even that's not the big problem here. No, the real problem is that there's oni here.

That has the Golden Rider getting even more fired up than the heat from the one slinging flaming sword waves around. Swinging himself underneath the heatwave not unlike a boxer would, Kintoki doesn't flinch even as his back sizzles and the ends of his jacket catch on fire. "Ya just don't learn, huh? Alright... Then lemme show you how I dealt with stinkin' oni back home!" Leaving the larger one to Ryouma and Oryou, Kintoki rushes the fire-wielder with a flurry of punches and kicks, striking at multiple angles in almost an instant that might as well look like he's attacking them as a bolt of lightning!
Lezard Valeth The Ghoul moves like a freight train, seemingly fixated on the designated target implanted in his mind by the man who had condemned him. Neither living nor dead, the beastly creature's flesh pulses and twitches as it launches towards Thor. Ryouma and Oryou come in with their pincer maneuver, crashing into it. The beast doesn't seem to have much of a concern for defense, being as fixated as it is, and they carve into the demon, tearing chunks out of it that drool black blood onto the shifting floor. The thing slows, lashing back out at them, but this just leaves it set up for...

Thor follows the team attack up with a mighty blow to the creature's chest, caving it in and throwing it back with a howl. For a moment, it collapses from the potent strike from the Asgardian, before dragging itself back up with a gurgling, feral howl. "THOOOOOOOOOOOR!" It cries out. Powerful as it is, this thing can't possibly defeat the triple team before it, especially with support from Doctor Strange. What could...

"Right... Now." A moment later, the Mirror Dimension shifts again, Lezard reaching into the malleable space with his own talents and beginning to twist the restaurant even further into a mind-melting kaleidoscopic hellscape. The walls twist and deform, the floor pivoting as it ripples and curves up below Thor, Ryouma, and Oryou, suddenly rushing vertical as Lezard starts isolating the trio from the rest of the combatants. The demon doesn't seem to consider this a problem at all, the beast clawing into the floor (which is now a wall) and dropping down towards Ryouma, attempting to crush him on its way to get to Thor.

Thor, meanwhile, has his own problems. A perhaps familiar voice to some in the room calls out fron just outside the building, "DARK SAVIOR!"

A moment later, there is a powerful surge of magic as countless blades of shadow begin raining down onto the vertical surface, attempting to literally backstab Thor and impale him to the wall like a bug.
Thor Doctor Strange moves the furniture out of the way, giving people more movement room. Whern he summons a shield and sends it flying to Thor, he catches it with the hand not occupied with Mjolnir. Meanwhile, the flaming construct isn't much for concentrated ice blasts, especially when trapped on a treadmill with its janky movement, and while it keeps trying to sustain itself, the doctor has it on ice. It's held off long enough that as things go on, the two yakuza creating it are stopped from focusing on the spell, allowing it to completely disintegrate into nothing.

Edison and Inga both move to strike the big yakuza boss. American fists of justice slam into his chest, followed by a red white and blue laser and a lightning bolt, sending the man flying backwards through a wall. Despite this...he doesn't go unconscious. His disguise is torn apart, revealing a crimson-skinned giant of a man with a pair of long horns. He's even bigger, and comes charging back out, ripping a part of the wall that crumbled off the ground and moving to swing it into Edison like it's a bat. "You screwed up /big time/, American!" If he gets a swing in, Edison might go flying at Inga, so she might want to watch her position.

Orchid pulls two of the guys out, and they're nearly eaten by Oryou. When she luckily does not eat them, they get up, and promptly run out the front door, way too intimidated by that show of force to say where they can get chomped up. Besides, their bosses are oni, so, yeah.

As Kintoki moves for the other boss, his strikes are focused to a high degree. Kintoki has familiar with this guy's kind - onis. As the strikes dig into him with such lightning fast speed, the man in the suit spits up blood, and then rips off his own metaphysical disguise with a breath and a change of stance. He's got cobalt skin and a single horn in the middle of his head, tall and lean more than big and muscular, but still much larger than a normal human. Swinging the katana, coating it with pure concentrated heat, he moves to slash straight into Kintoki and try and gut him with the sword before he's killed by what clearly appears to be a demon hunter.

Lezard makes everything much more difficult for everyone. As the walls shift, becoming floors, and the floors become walls, Thor lands on his hands and knees, not expecting that. The beast is no longer focused on him, but still alive, but he can't quite move to help Ryouma. Because he's currently being skewered with shadow blades pouring down on him. While he moves the shield Strange threw to him above his head, blocking several from pouring straight into his skull and killing him, the shield shatters, and more lances into his back, piercing his armor and drawing blood. It looks nasty.

But it doesn't kill him. It seriously hurts him, but the Asgardian is extremely tough. He takes his now empty hand and starts pulling blades out, preventing himself from getting impaled. With his other hand, he starts spinning Mjolnir vertically, lifting into the air. There's still a blade stuck in him, and it hurts really badly, so he's not moving back into melee. But if the ghoul manages to seriously hurt Ryouma or push past his defenses...

Lightning will crackle from Mjolnir, and a bolt will fly at the ghoul in an attempt to back Ryouma up. Only if necessary.
Orchid      "OW!"

Even knowing it, or something like it, might be coming, the full power of Thor's lightning creates an EMP that crashes into Orchid's sensors. It's a brief pop of static, but she was moving at the time, and she loses her balance, hitting the floor at full speed, as she was rushing back into the restaurant... and into the area where the floor is shifted. So she goes into freefall, and before she can recover she's hit the wall on the opposite side. She slumps down to the floor, not moving at the moment.
Doctor Strange      Strange stands upright, dropping his martial stance once the flame construct disappears. He takes a moment to survey the room. Edison had mentioned going after the other mage--ordinarily, he'd insist on handling it himself, but he knows from experience that Heroic Spirits can really hold their own against casters. Another Strange appears beside him, and together, they coordinate an offensive.

One of the Stranges holds his hand out, tracing a circle in the air. When the red oni swings at Edison, a portal opens up right in front of him, in the path of his attack. Another one opens up behind him. The red oni will be able to see, through the portal in front of him, the back of his own head. And if he doesn't halt his attack in time, he'll be hitting not Edison, but himself.

The other Strange crosses his hands over his chest, thumbs pressed to forefingers, and drags them in opposite directions, fingers slowly opening to mimic the opening of an eye. The Eye of Agamotto's intricate latticework shifts and clicks into place, revealing the brightly shining emerald. A band of likewise hued energy forms around his wrist.

Dragging to the left with one hand, the band of energy begins to rotate backwards. Or, rather, counterclockwise. The obsidian blade skewered into Thor painfully slides out, sticking back into the wall... but his wounds begin to knit themselves closed, as well.
Sakata Kintoki      Had that boss been a regular human, Kintoki would have let up at least a little. He's not one to splatter someone without at least a bad reason, but oni?

No other reasons are needed. "Heh... It took you long enough to get out of that skin! Now let's see what else you got under that!" Kintoki eyes that horn in particular as he shifts his stance, gauging the oni's new capabilities even while the fight with the rest of the yakuza, the beefy oni, and the ghoul continue. He'll have to leave them to the rest of the Elites in the area for now, though, as he focuses his entire being on the one in front of him.

Just killing it isn't enough. No, if these Yakuza were able to work with two for so long, leaving a corpse won't do. This one needs to be obliterated. Ducking into the path of that sword swing, he brings up a supercharged fist to grasp the blade early in its swing, aiming to stop it before the boss can get enough momentum to do some real damage.

Aside from the burning, anyway. That's still going to leave quite the scars, and it's already scorching the Golden Rider's hand from mere proximity, never mind the fact that he's grabbing it directly. Punching it away would have been smarter, sure, but at what cost?

Looking like a very non-golden wuss, that's what. "Rock and roll! Time to say good night!" With another adrenaline-fueled shout, Kintoki begins the high-speed pummeling anew, lightning coursing through his limbs as he smashes away at the katana-wielding oni to try and pulverize it utterly.
Thomas Alva Edison     Edison's eyes turn from the Oni at a critical moment. He catches something out of the corner of his eye as things...degrade. Edison would have been completely caught off guard by that, but Dr. Strange was watching his back. He was glad for that, as the Oni somehow hits himself.

Stamina: EX. Also Inga's buff took even more power out of the blow.

Edison reaches for the face of the man, with the look of a angry man. "No son, you have messed up. You have messed up by causing this festering pile of crime you call a resturant."

The camera cuts, in the main area the wall comes crashing down as Edison aims to throw the Oni into the room walking through it.

Edison's head looks right towards Lezard. "The other mistake was allying with that." He says, thinking his grip on the situation was right on.

However, right or not...he DID have a solution for this this.

    The room darkens.

However, at the center of where Lezard Stood, a spotlight appeared, shining on him for all to see, recording all of his efforts, and making them visual for time to remember. These great inventions destroyed those who relied on ignorance to control the populas, and banished untrue myths as well as Urban Fantasies. Here, Edison would attempt to counter the magic from thie mage, here those who would be considered divine and not on Edison's side would feel their divine natures no longer helped them, and the weight of his reality would attempt to crush them. Allies around him, could easily hurt those of the Divine, and carry his protection from magic that he benifited from this.

    Edison appears, behind him...

    EDI

    SON

19th Century Sick of This Mage's Bullcrap!

With a roar the field came into reality, covering the area as the spotlight continued to shine, and Edison's power aimed to roll over the mage, and the Onis.
Ryouma Sakamoto     The walls and floors are hostile.
    And mobile.
Why is reality a larger mess than usual?!

Ryouma could keep relative track of the mess when it was just Strange coordinating it - but now it's evidently no longer under control.

Oryou, luckily, flies, and so she has the incredible power to scoop Ryouma up like a princess and get the hell out of dodge. When walls and floors attempt to slam into her, her hair slithers about like angry, superpowered snakes, crushing bricks and concrete to keep her husbando safe. It's still very stressful for Ryouma! He doesn't know how to deal with this.

The two come to a stop near Doctor Strange, at which point Ryouma is let down and Oryou glares around to locate Lezard. And she does, when Edison deems shine A LITERAL SPOTLIGHT onto him.

Oryou punches a fireball at Lezard.
    It's a pretty clear message.
Inga Freyjasdottir Inga reels as space warps once more, the restaurant twisting around them, becoming something out of fever-dream. She's been through weirder, sure, but it is still incredibly disorienting. She can think of no reason Strange would be doing this, so it must be someone else.

Then she hears that voice, and shadows rush in. "Fucking Lezard," she curses. All that talk today, of course he would show up to try to kill Thor. While Inga doesn't consider this Thor to be her god, exactly, it still mightily pisses her off. Unfortunately, as much as she would like to inconvenience him, she has other issues to deal with. Like not getting hit by a flying Edison. But just as she thinks she'll need to try to throw herself out of the way, Strange appears and opens one of his handy dandy portals, and the giant thing may end up just bonking himself over the head. Clever use of those portals, she has to admit.

And if the space in this restaurant hadn't been tortured enough...Inga watches Edison be So Done with Lezard's crap. Having spent a good deal of time with Arturia, she recognizes now just what he is. "Oh...legendary ghosts," she says, putting those pieces together.

She follows the spotlight to Lezard, wondering what is about to happen to him, and if she should help. Perhaps better to let this play out.

Inga turns her attention to the rest of the chaotic restaurant, her eyes moving back to the monster attacking Thor. She frowns, and opens her third eye..."Damn it," she curses. "That's the hostage! He was transformed by Lezard!" she shouts, though it may not do them any good now. She's not sure if she, or anyone, can help him now.
Lezard Valeth The Ghoul is powerful, but it doesn't fly. That's a DIFFERENT demon. The creature twists and howls at the denial of all of its prey, beginning to crawl along the floor-wall towards Thor... Only to get blasted back by another bolt o lightning. It snarls weakly, dragging itself back up...

Meanwhile... It /almost/ worked.

/Almost/. Lezard is already fuming as he sees that the Asgardian uses the shield from Strange to ward off the fatal blow. Thor, being /Thor/, is far too durable to be felled by much less. Inwardly, he curses, and quickly begins to draw in greater power. If he just has a little more time, he could possibly solve /two/ problems at once...

But then the light comes down. There, for all to see on the screen, Lezard Valeth is on the spotlight, the suppressing force of World Faith Domination crushing down on him and asserting another reality over his own. Something more banal, more... /scientific/.

There is a gurgle as Lezard immediately crumples, gasping and clutching at his chest as if he was experiencing a sudden heart attack. Something seethes around him, glittering lights shimmering as he grimaces. "You fool..." He hisses. "I cannot accept this... I WILL NOT ACCEPT THIS!" With a gesture, he points directly at the camera. "GO!" He yells... And the Ghoul answers.

The creature turns, slavering as he hears the command, and lunges across the room, clambering across walls and floors as he hurls himself with a suicidal rage at the projector.

Meanwhile, Lezard gets a fireball to the face. The bad news: It's painful. The book comes up and blocks a portion of the impact, but the blast still hurls him away. The good news is that it also throws him out of the spotlight. "This isn't over." He says, simply, before he quickly creates a teleportation circle, trying to escape before they can pin him down again.

The Ghoul, meanwhile, will continue to rampage and kill until someone or something puts it down.
Thor As the blade slides out of Thor, he grunts in pain, but his wounds are being knitted back together, which is pretty nice. They don't completely repair yet, but it's enough to keep the Asgardian moving.

The red oni ends up punching through a portal into his own head - portal magic is not something he's used to, so he didn't see it coming. When World Faith Domination happens, his eyes widen, as he starts to weaken. He immediately looks around, and then starts to stumble backwards, injured. He tries to bolt for the back door if he can make it out, but he's weak enough someone could theoretically stop or kill him if they wanted to. Either way, he thinks he's getting out of here, especially because of what happens to the blue oni.

Normally, the blue oni would be tough enough to leave a corpse if he got killed. But with World Faith Domination sapping his strength, leaving him wide-eyed, Kintoki's expert strikes and skill with killing onis, as well as the electricity, causes him to get practically pulverized. Bones shatter, blood pours out, steaming from the heat he's pouring off, and skin chars. What's left is a stain on the walls as Kintoki puts everything he has into erasing this guy.

Thor moves in flight, and sees Orchid slumping to the floor. He sinks down to the ground, moving to grab her, try and check if she's still alive (he has no idea she's a robot). If the ghoul comes their way while it rampages on the spotlight, he'll swing into its head with Mjolnir...but others are closer, and will likely handle it first.

The restaurant's a mess. It also belongs to the yakuza, who now have a dead boss and another trying to flee because he was revealed as a demon. People can at least clean up here.
Thomas Alva Edison     Edison's eyes narrow at the mage. That was the man he heard on the radio...something people considered a Multiversal threat. Of course...the idea that it was the man...the hostage of the Yakuza, and the fact that...

The horror dawns on Edison, the weight of what a man just went through...of what Lezard did. A shadow passed over his face, but he didn't have time to greave.

Moving to interpose himself between the spotlight at the Ghoul, he hunkers down, trading blows with the powerful monstrosity. Back and forth they go, blood starting to be visible from the both, until Edison comes down with both hands, aiming to send a bolt of electricty through it.

Should that be enough to stun it, Edison smacks it to the ground...and then places his hand over the monster's head.

"I'm sorry, son." He says, with a tone of sorrow...before he puts the strength he is capable of into that hand, and crushes. The camera, would thankfully cut away at this.
Doctor Strange      On the one hand, Strange doesn't really have a quarrel with these oni. But on the other hand, they were holding someone hostage. Someone who is now being put down by Edison. The authorities here might never get another chance like this. Strange briefly disappears in a flash of green, traveling back to assist his past self. When he reappears, he creates the same treadmill effect from earlier under the red oni's feet.

It stops abruptly, the sorcerer using the oni's momentum against him to send him flying forward... into an open portal. That portal's exit is a good distance above the local police station, Strange aiming to drop him from high enough to knock the wind out of him and make him an easy target for the cops. Juuust to make sure there are no 'clerical errors,' a future Strange appears, crosses through the portal, and requests police assistance right from the front desk of that very station.
Inga Freyjasdottir Inga turns her eyes away from Edison and the man-turned-ghoul, biting the inside of her cheek. Death is probably all they can give him, but she regrets it all the same. One more horror to pin on Lezard. As if she needed more reason to loath him.

Inga sighs and turns toward the others. There is likely still healing to be done. "Well, lets get those who were wounded seen to," she says, and looks around to see who is wounded. Thor, even with the bit of time magic still looks rough, and there's a woman she's not even sure is conscious. Inga moves toward Orchid first. "Are you alright?" she asks.
Sakata Kintoki      Kintoki lets out a long, heavy breath as the flame oni becomes little more than a smear, and he shakes his hand off as it continues sizzling from that ill-advised maneuver. "That was fun! Alright... Who wants to go next?!" He strikes a pose as he issues that challenge, his desire for a fight likely overriding whatever little common sense he has.

Don't make eye contact. Don't look at him. Don't shake his hand.
Orchid      Yeah, over by the wall, Orchid is still kinda broken. There are a few of her robot spiders next to her, jumping up and down for attention. "Um... ow. No," she replies to Inga's question. "I've got major breaks in my legs, and trying to stand on them would likely break something. At the very least replacement." Her armor also seems cracked in several places, but she's not clearly bleeding.
Thor The police aren't really equipped to deal with an oni (almost all of them don't even think they're real), but the red oni yakuza is too screwed up to complain. Once he's out of the field, he repairs his human disguise, but he can't run. Either the local Mages' Association or the Demon Hunters will deal with him.

As others deal with the ghoul and everyone else starts to clean up in their own ways, Thor moves to approach Doctor Strange first, though he makes sure everyone can hear his address. "Thank you all for your assistance. It's a shame the young man had to die for nothing, though from what you were discussing, it seems we have a lead on who caused this." A turn to Inga. "You mentioned 'Lezard'. Is he the one behind this? Who attacked me?"

And then, a turn back to Doctor Strange. "Your ability is quite impressive, Sorcerer. This is likely a bad time, but I will have to ask you more about the legend ghosts when you have the ability to do so. For now...I will see if he got far. I'll make contact shortly."

Thor flies off and out of the barrier.

Thor flies back a few moments later. "I just realized I don't actually have a way to contact you."

Someone might want to give the man a radio.
Inga Freyjasdottir Inga examines her and frowns. It is only now that she is closer that she can see she is mechanical. "I'm afraid I do not know how to heal you, but I'll help if I can. I am sure we can recruit one of these strapping young men to bring you somewhere that you can be repaired," she replies, flashing a quick smile.

Inga turns to just that. "Doctor Strange, perhaps you can help this young lady out with one of your convenient portals?" she suggests. Inga looks to Sakata, and simply raises her eyebrows at him disapprovingly. It very clearly communicates 'simmer down'.

She turns lastly to Thor, trying to keep the awe out of her eyes as she reminds herself he is not exactly the being she worships. He may just noticed the obvious mjolnir pendant at her throat, fashioned after the style from the early viking age. Indeed, it /is/ from the early viking age.

She clears her throat. "Ah, yes. That is his name and you would do well to be wary of him. It is his mission in life to kill you--to kill the gods."

Alas, she has no radio to give him. Her device is magical in nature and she only has the one.
Doctor Strange      Strange pointedly ignores Kintoki's clamoring for more fighting, even after he disappears in a flash of green light. "Lezard Valeth," explains Strange. "Sorcerer of Midgard--" Then Thor just... flies away. The Sorcerer Supreme looks for a moment like the world's most annoyed man, his brow furrowed, emerald eyes squinting as his mouth is pulled into a confused, irritated frown. "You don't have a way to contact us," repeats Strange incredulously.

"Edison," calls the sorcerer, in a 'come and deal with this bullshit' tone. "Come get this man a radio." He even lifts a hand and does the 'c'mere' fingers. There's still a band of green energy slowly rotating around one of his wrists, which serves his purposes nicely. He holds up an index finger to Thor--wait a sec, his expression says.

The sorcerer approaches Orchid, holds out his hand, and, as before, begins to drag the opposite hand as if rewinding an online video. The band of energy upon his wrist rotates counterclockwise, and the damage done to the reploid begins to unwind. Stray parts flip back upright, dents pop outwards, screws wind themselves back into place. It won't be a perfect fix, but she'll likely be in at least walking condition.
Thomas Alva Edison     Edison lets out a sigh. For a moment, he feels older than he actually is. He looks exausted, beaten from what he had just done. His eyes close, as he says nothing for a long minute. This was something he had never had to do in life, and he knows he was brought back as a hero to...do things like this, but it never sat right with him. The death of people was something he always lamented, and now, something he would always regret.

However, he pushes it behind him, he can brood on his own time. He cleans his hand off, and moves towards Thor.

"You are welcome. I am Presiking Thomas Alva Edison," he extends a hand out to him. "Radio? Sure." He says towards Strange. A moment passes, as the area around them shifts slightly.

Edison has a table near by, and with it the pieces he needs to work on something. A few moments later, a small device is produced. Handing it to Thor.

"A DC powered radio." he says, firmly.
Orchid      It's also a very strange experience for Orchid herself, as her legs are forced back through most of the same energy as broke them, but precisely in reverse... But not completely. Thankfully, most of the 'not complete' winds up being her armor, which was designed to be ablative. (That is, it breaks, instead of Orchid) "That... wow. Yeah, still damage, but I can walk at least," she says, slowly getting to her feet. "Thank you Doctor," she says, respectfully nodding to the Sorcerer.
