Scene #6210: Tower of Santaga

Kotone Yamakawa	Kotone was known to Gil and it seemed to be enough to get her drafted to run a floor she'd be scooped up by one of his minions possibly it was Enkidu who did it, she didn't know she woke up here on the floor to wait for whoever would come she did have all the resources to make it interesting so she'd gotten to work on it, and now sometime later she's done. The entire place looks like a toy factory and maybe it actually is but a lot of puppets, dolls, toy soldiers, action figures and the like are everywhere being producte by clearly doll-like elves, who will ignore anyone who enters that doesn't mess with the production lines. The call for the tower had gone out, and into this workshop who would come to face the Queen of Puppets? Kotone had hidden herself to wait upon the arrival of whoever would dare to brave the tower. There is also none tacky holiday music playing too to give the floor a more festive feel to it.
Corona Arclite	With the whole fiasco over Copperchoke's shenanigans lately Corona had not really paid much attention to the whole Tower thing. At least not until it was close friends that were whisked away to motivate it's floors. She still wasn't entirely fond of Gilgamesh so even if the aduction was meant as some misguided holiday fun it had rubbed her paranoia entirely the wrong way. Seriously, she turns around for a figurative few minutes to figure out what to do with that eletromagnetic golem core, and this happens. "Wahl," the fox drawled as she sauntered onto the floor. "Guess we look at the bright side, and that it was just that blowhard that made off with her and not some fiendish holiday terror like Krampus." Which is followed by a pause, and hmm. "Looks like someone's been purdy busy here a'ready..."
Orchid	Queen of Puppets? That's a title that Orchid may want to contest at some point. But in addition to wanting to run her own floor, Orchid is interested in getting enough stockings for the event costume on offer. Still, on arrival, Orchid stands next to Corona, humming to herself. "There's a decent chance that Kotone set this up herself," she muses. "Let's see if we can make it to the middle." She'll start walking in among the production lines, taking a close look at the elves as she does so. If they really are dolls... Well, she might want to take one home.
Kotone Yamakawa	So what had happened with Kotone it was hard to know but the floor here there were a few goblins here too but they were overseeing the dolls. "You heard the queens orders! We need more of the Dolls and soldiers produced!" THe Queen? Then as this happen both Reploid and Fox would hear a booming laugh the infamous oh oh-oh ho ho ho laugh. Coming from everywhere and nowhere. "Who is this that dares invade the Puppet Queen's workshop?! You're here to disrupt production aren't you or have come for the treasures of this tower!" It's clearly Kotone but form the tone she's going full-on ham here. From the center of the factory floor one could see a humanoid fork it's clearly kotone though she's looking a bit odd she's in a Mrs Santa outfit, not too flashy but not overly prudish and it's green she has a Santa hat on and she's hovering off the ground? Wait what she's hovering that much is clear and looks quite a puppet like seeming to have doll joints on her limbs and such and two marionette control hover above her in the air as she moves, they move as if they are controlling her? Or is it an effect? Given Gil hired and paid all the goblins here? It's likely effect and not actual mind control. Gil speech checks not messes with minds in the end. "If you wish to reach hte top you will have to get past me!"
Orchid	Going full on ham is probably one of the best responses to being wrapped up in the schemes of the tower without your consent. Still, there could be some degree of control going on here, so Orchid feels fine with giving her friend the mild beating needed to break her free. "I, the Princess of Spiders, do so dare!" She shouts back, letting herself go a little ham herself. "Tell me, oh Queen of Puppets, what is your challenge for those that would climb the tower?"
Corona Arclite	Corona's ears swivel back and forth again, as if listening to the factory machinery around them. Probably trying to determine how much of it is real or if its some kind of trick for the sake of atmosphere. The attempt at getting situated with the setting is disrupted by a very hammy entrance. One that has the fox rolling her eyes a bit and muttering something to the effect of "Well at least she's gettin' into the role," under her breath. Shehe starts another snappy remark but pauses when Orchid starts slinging her own titles around. "Wait. Iffen yer 'Princess of Spiders' and she," a thumb is jabbed towards Kotone Claus, "Is Queen of Puppets, what's that make me? So we're all on the same page... And don't say 'princess something' just cuz Ah'm also a girl." Gives the collar of her duster a tug to straighten it out. "Cuz Ah sure as hell ain't the 'princess' type, obviously."
Kotone Yamakawa	THe Queen puts a finger to her lips and lash then holds out her arms dramatically. "Go my lovely dolls and puppets! forth strike down the Princess of Spiders and the Cowgirl Queen!" It seems Kotone has laid out a name for her it looks like and the toys all start to get up at Kotone's command, toy soldiers fire candy canons at Corona while dolls throw candy cane spears at Orchid and the machines keep pumping out more to join the others on the line. "You will have to face my endless legion of holiday toys! You can not defeat them those who have sinned against the holidays!"
Orchid	Orchid glances over at Corona. "Cowgirl Queen works, I guess." Then in come the toys. She tries to dive out of the way, but is hit by several candy-canes, her legs taking the worst of it... But the armor there is strong. Orchid responds to the incoming attack with a wave of her own spiders, flinging them at Kotone and the elves both, with intent to just shock and disorient.
Corona Arclite	Corona Arclite's tail lashes briefly behind her... But it wasn't 'princess'. She cants her head a little, hat brim briefly shadowing her face. "Reckon Ah'll take that one." The state of the factory machinery becomes an interesting point again when the toys come to life from it, complete with candy weapons. "Y'know, this ain't the weirdest thing Ah've seen," she remakrs to Orchid, "And frankly it's a good change of pace." Then the fox takes off to do her thing. Unfortunately in her brashness she underestimated just how effective candy based weaponry would be, as a few shots pummel her enough to briefly skid askew on her charge. "The bloody 'ell those thin's shootin', jawbreakers? Cuz it almost broke mine!" Her tone does make it hard to tell if that was a snappy retort, or serious about the potential injury. With a hmph she brushes some candy crumbs off, and then settles back into position. "A'right then. Do it yer way... DRAW!" The classic gunslinger callout isn't even finished leaving her lips before she's whipped out both her revolvers and opening a volley of fire on the toy soldiers, the clockwork chambers spinning fast enough to make it a furious but highly efficient assault.
Kotone Yamakawa	The Puppet Queen seems to be having some fun with this,s and no she didn't call Corona a Princess as she is no Princess Kotone knows that. It seems her toy minions hit pretty hard as they pile on to both Orchid and Corona, attakcing with candy of all thigns, a whole lot of Candy reallly.. "Your puns will avail you not Queen!" She calls out even as many of the toys are sent flying by the counter attack, they don't leave remains they just seemt toi vanish and when one falls? A new one rolls off the production line, funny that, when Oorchid however goes for the Elves? They get into the mix of thing, Kotone is able to fend the spiders off, but not so the Elves and that seems to slow the waves of toys coming for them. Kotone waves her hands and a wave of Candy Canes are launched from what look like toy missile trucks...
Orchid	Orchid sees the elves being slowed down. She also sees the incoming candy attack, putting forward one shield in time to block them while she thinks. There, that could be where she wants to hit. Maintaining one hand as a shield, she shouts some advice to Corona. "Cowgirl Queen! Strike at the source of her toy army!" She demonstrates, the other hand forming a plasma spitter. This is all in good fun, so she's not afraid, and can shoot... at the production lines themselves, at the workbenches. Those elves are gonna hate her. But she keeps strafing as she does so, not wanting to give up her momentum.
Corona Arclite	Now that she's back in the jive Corona quickly caculates an impromptu plan... and pretty much along the same lines Orchid is thinking, imagine that. "Ye read my mind!" Of course, first she has to get to the 'source'. Fortunately the missile attack is a pretty heavily broadcast attack. There's explosions of candy as the peppermint projectiles bombard, but just as they're about to hit Corona fires her grappler to yank herself out of the way of the central point of the attack, taking little more than shrapnel as she ziplines away. By having grappled oned of the various material movers of the factory assembly lines. In the process she had holsters her dueling pistols, and gone for her sawed off instead, aiming a shot towards one of those missile toy trucks while she's making her way along the assembly line.
Kotone Yamakawa	Well now the toy army is taking a heck of a hit from the ladies combined efforts, a good deal of the machinery is smashed, several elves are taken out, and some goblins too though the goblins thanks to the epic health care package all the workers have here? Are restored in short order, Gil doesn't mess around on the employee benefits it seems. Then again that's likely how he got all these seemingly civilized goblins to get in on this whole affair. Kotone watches the pair keep fighting and there's an evil grin. "Shall you dance for your queen?" She'll launch two pairs of the Marionette controls which will try to latch on to Corona and Orchid for a moment and make them slam into things or hold still for the fire from the candy lobbing toy army. That is if they can actually get ahold of them.
Orchid	Orchid is yanked up by the strings, pulled into the air, even made to dance a little as she is shot at, candy hitting all over her body. "A touch offensive to turn a reploid into a puppet, but you're not in your right mind I hope..." But she manages to struggle well enough to shoot her plasma... and what looks to be a loose bit of decoration on the ceiling. If she hits, if it falls, and if it hits Kotone, it could knock the Queen of Puppets out, leaving the Princess of Spiders the victor.
Corona Arclite	You would think zinging strings wouldn't make a lot of noise. But they don't need to, not with the exceptional hearing a fennec posesses. Corona's ears snap ridged at the whizzing in the air, and with deft dexterity she flips her sawed off into the air, freeing her hands to activate the cutting torches on the back of her gloves and use them to slice apart the strings. "Ah ain't no gumdrop fairy, either." And pulling one of her handguns out. "This is my kinda dance." To which she holds out of the gun and fires a few times. Then twists to the side and catchs the shotgun by the action, recocking it as it flips back into he grip. Which she points over her shoulder, and without looking fires at one of the actual factory machines.
Kotone Yamakawa	Maybe she was just getting into character? Who knows but then comes the attack of bringing the roof down on her, well some of the decorations. Kotone only has a moment as she gets klonked pretty hard and she slumps to the ground from the force of the impact given her body is military spec she's more than certainly not dead. Corona does an amazing job of finishing off the factory and as it goes up the toys fall over, and the goblins look to one another. "Whelp Grox they did it again." "Ya Blox lets get to the next floor." The Goblins then head off leaving Kotone a bit dazed as she gets up. "I have been defeated well played, and you are not without your rewards either." She'll take a moment to hover over to an intact part of the floor and a chest will appear. Inside there's a Candy Cane for each of them but sadly no stocking this time for them. "Well that was fun actually, how about once I change we go hit the bar up for something to eat? Thank you for challenging the tower! Geeze you both hit harder than I thought."
Orchid	Orchid shakes herself out of the strings. Making sure the strings are completely removed, she nods to the leaving goblins as she approaches the chest. "Well, at least we got these," she says, collecting her share. "And something to eat would be good," she agrees. Sure, she doesn't need to eat, but it's a tool for being social. If the elves haven't been destroyed or left, she'll see if she can steal one for later examination.
Corona Arclite	Corona slides the shotgun into it's sling and holsters the gun in her other hand. "Welp, Ah can safely say this is right up thare with the new years clock scramble for strangest holiday fight Ah've been in. So good job on yer part." She's just relieved it was all part of the act and Kotone isn't actually being mind controlled or some crazy nonsense. She picks up a candy cane, twirls it around her fingers as nimbly as she would her guns before sticking it in the corner of her mouth like one would a cigarette, smirking. "Bar after a brawl. Ya know me too well Koto."
Kotone Yamakawa	The Elves are cleaing out and Kotone will see what Orchid might be trying to do and mnoves ot get in her way. "Don't all of this is King Gilgaemshes properly I'd ask him if you could study some of it later." She notes giveing Orchid a concerned look before she turns to COrona and grins. "I had to stay in character for this what can I say there, and I do. It will be on me, all right?"
Orchid	Orchid bahs, but relents. "Fine. He can get kinda possessive of what he views as his rights... I remember the last time." She rubs her head, and listens to the radio. "Hmmm."
Corona Arclite	Corona Arclite rolls her eyes a little at the reminder of Gilgy's 'possessiveness'. "Let's just go get some drinks and grub." She pauses. Then tilts her head at Orchid. ".. Do ya even eat? Or drink?" She knows Kotone is capable of replicating the process, but Orchid is the first reploid she's actually gotten to regularly see up close.
Orchid	"Yes, but I do it more for the minerals than the energy," Orchid replies to Corona. "Not all reploids can, but I like the eating. It's fun!"
Kotone Yamakawa	Kotone Yamakawa still needs some food but not as much as she used to, she does it as a matter of sanity, She's had her radio off while she was working and turns it on. "I still need to eat you know, not as much but it keeps me sane."
Kotone Yamakawa	Kotone Yamakawa frowns deeply at the radio it seems she missed something major.
