Sanary Rondel -LAST TIME-

After a heated battle in the forest and speaking to an eccentric hermit, many details about the king and the wizard guiding him have come to light. Hearing of the rebels' plight, those escorting the former princess and the skeleton knight are on the move once again. They've agreed to meet at a mountain pass near the edge of the forest where the hermit had been seen.

-TODAY-

As the Elites reach the mountain pass, Serena greets them with a brief wave and bow at the waist. The Skeleton Warrior is hovering nearby, sword held at the ready as always. There's no axe-wielding healer around, and Serena doesn't wait long before starting on the path.

"The village is this way. Some of the others went on ahead, but we should hurry to catch up with them." Serena states as she leads the group along the path. It's a wide path, carved out wide enough for two or three wagons to move along easily, and it looks like it's been used fairly recently with how little garbage there is on it. There's even some damp spots here and there! "With any luck, we'll reach the village within an hour."

Of course, things never proceed that easily. As they continue down the path, a large gang of muscle-bound men in white skin-tight suits come barreling in from all angles, both descending from the mountain above them and climbing up from the edges. They grunts and flex in unison, showing off POWERFUL PECS and BULGING BICEPS.

"Swift, yet strong!  There is nothing we fear. What's everyone's is ours!  We shall put our lives on the line for our boss, Macho Goro.  We are the Muscle-Heads!" One of the swimcap-wearing bandits shouts, to the cheers of his brethren as the only one /not/ wearing a shirt approaches. "Hey, you there!  You have such a rare golem. Hey, Macho Gambo, that golem will look good in our cave! Take it!"

A red-haired bandit with a headband follows the direction, approaching the gold-armored skeleton before backflipping abruptly as  the warrior lashes out at him.

"So, you wish that I use force to take it from you, eh?  So be it!" The green-haired Goro laughs and strikes another pose to show off his RIPPLING BACK MUSCLES, but stays his hand when some of the grunts step up instead.

"Wait up, boss!  Let us handle this." And so, the Godats bandits are on the attack! They rush the Elites from all angles, striking with punches, kicks, shoulder checks from below that look suspiciously like diving pushups and squats, and... Sweating.

No, they're actually sweating as a form of attack. It burns on contact as they fling it around, and it smells quite foul as well!
August Kohler -EARLIER-

Gash, the blonde-haired eyepatched man with the big sword who is the commander of the Royal Knights, has requested to meet any allies on the mountain path. Apparently the princess disappeared on an 'unsupervised excursion' into bandit territory, which serves two problems. One, the princess is in danger. Two, the bandits need to be dealt with - and it might be a good showing to see the power of the Royal Knights' new allies, as well. If any of the group has transport further into the mountain, Gash will of course accept that...and soon, they'll arrive at the mountain pass, however they travel. And there's not just bandits there causing a problem. The rebels are here too!

-NOW-

Once Gash's boots are on the ground, with a large group of blue knights joining him, the one-eyed man points his sword forward and gestures. "Knights! Stop those bandits and capture those rebels! Remember your tactics!" Gash will step forward, and then, now part of the fray, announce himself. "So you're the scum causing problems in the mountains, huh? And the rebels are here too? Well, you'll all be made to pay for your actions soon enough!" Gash is an open target, though he seems to be waiting for an opportunity to jump in himself.

And meanwhile, the blue knights join the fray, splitting into small groups to surround everyone. There's two types of knight working together - ones with swords, and ones with halberds. They move to strike at anyone who gets into range of them, but they're being careful not to get hit by the sweat where possible, not that it'd be super effective with their armor.
Zenos yae Galvus     Zenos had decided to throw in with the Royal Knights.

As Gash decided to attack, from the sky a Imperial Gunship would lower from the sky. It's main guns would start launching waves of gunfire at the bandits and rebels. The message was clear: The Knights have gotten allies, these allies are technologically advanced, and are now aiming to smash the hammer against the Rebellion, and any element that was not of the law.

From one of the bays, troops would start launching. A regiment of soldiers, all in Magitek style armor would launch, each one carrying various forms of weapons, but their leaders holding gunblades. Behind them were a squad of Magitek Knights, large magitek machines which SORT of look like large metal Chocobos. Smaller Flying armors would move, aiding in getting the Knights to the ground, before disembarking and acting as support. Behind them, the Elites who came with Zenos would come.

And Zenos himself. The man, clad head to toe in Magitek armor, with a large 'golf' bag of swords on his hip slowly walks towards the battlefield. He walks slowly, taking no move to rush his entry into combat himself. He simply walks like a force of nature. His orders to his men were clear. Destroy the Rebels and anyone who resists. Support the Royal Knights in finding and reclaiming their princess. Find the sword and report it to him.
William Pauwel You know what else is technologically advanced?

That's right.

~Sci-fi cowboys~ are technologically advanced.

While Will hasn't really been playing too active of a role in this particular sub-conflict of the greater multiverse, that has changed very recently. Why?

Well.

Honestly it's because August is busy today (something something atalante stuck in a tree something something) and so he needed someone to show up in his stead.

And show up he does. As the skies blacken with imperial magitek, the mountains bristle with flexing bandits and azure knights swarm across the hills, another figure appears, cresting a nearby mountain crag on a machine that looks and sounds all too much like someone had taken the concept of 'motorcycle' up to eleven.

And upon it... Is a man...

With a /gun./

"Hoo boy, it sure looks like they're really comin' out in force today!" Will chirps, cycling up near the princess and the undead warrior. "Howdy pardners! Name's Will. August's a friend of mine, and I'm here to help! What say you and yer friend there hop on and we'll see 'bout breaking through 'fore they can tighten the noose 'round our necks!"
Stella     Amongst those touching the ground with GASH DEADEYE is STELLA, whose arms immediatly sprout crystaline growths and burst out to form prismatic jewel-blades for her to grasp. She has a SWORD LICENSE now, presumably, and so this is no longer an illegal thing to do.

Although technically, the weapons are her body, so are they really swords, by-the-law? Something to ponder.

She is all too eager to see Gash in battle, but also to prove herself to him. Her advance on the revels and the bandits is immediate. Her blades swing indiscriminatedly, and anyone struck without the will to resist gets... sucked into the blades, quite literally, imprisoned within, at which point the blade is left behind planted into the ground and Stella cycles in a new one. It's a temporary measure, but the wounded and weak-willed will be stuck in statis blades until one side or the other resolves this, most likely.
Doctor Strange      Aboard the deck of Zenos' ship, an orange hole is burned into reality, and out steps the Sorcerer Supreme. With a flick of the wrist the portal is closed. Strange takes to the skies, flying overboard to provide air support to the descending Magitek Knights and Gash's forces alike. The red Cloak of Levitation flaps in the wind behind him as the earth rushes upwards to meet him.

Like Stella, Strange isn't really trying to kill anyone. On his way down, he creates a field of SLIPPERY ICE to harass and possibly trap the BANDITS and REBELS, although it's likely too brittle to hold a trained warrior for long. The real danger, as the name would imply, is slipping! When he lands, it's with a conjured BO STAFF in hand, created to bypass any question of 'wait, is he allowed to have a sword?'

Fighting close by the construct, the Sorcerer Supreme twirls the staff overhead, aiming for wrists, feet, and ankles with quick, whiplike attacks. He's pulling punches as much as he's able, but it's still a magically conjured weapon and he's still hitting... pretty hard.
Note     Note swoops down from the sky in her normal state, landing not far from Serena... but...an hour? "Ugh... an hour? You guys are so slow.. but I gotta make sure we get there safely." She could probably get there in much less than an hour on her own, thinks the Saiyan-blooded youth.

"Yo!" Note exclaims, turning to wave at the skeleton with that rather informal greeting. She is clearly no longer creeped out by it.

And onwards the group goes... until... she armfolds a few moments before--

Before the gang's surrounded by some muscular thugs.

Who proceed to do all kinds of crazy things before the gang gets much of a word in edgewise.

"Grrrrr.... you guys can't just do whatever you please!" She steps forward. She's easily a few heads shorter than the Macho gang. Surely DOESN'T look like she'd be a match for any of them.

And yet, when the Godat gang warriors get near her, she sets in matching them blow for blow. Roundhouse kicks are stopped by last-minute leg grabs and Note swings her assailant into his brethren! Punches down at her are met with grab-slams all the same. She nimbly dances this way and that, using her small size to great effect. And then she swings about to slam people in the gut and solar plexus with elbows and kicks!

The few times that the gang members do land solid blows on her, she hardly reacts besides a grunt and being pushed back a few inches.

"Alright. Now THIS is more like it---" She seems to be enjoying herself... up until one of the warriors shakes BURNING SWEAT onto her. She only manages to dodge HALF of the spray. "Eewwwwwwwww--AAAAAAAHH!" It sizzling on her skin like acid has Note doubling over with a completely unfamiliar pain to deal with.

Another fighter's kick then sends her flying into a rock, which she smacks into hard, and topples to the ground on her back. "You guys fight with your SWEAT?! That's disgusting! ... Alright then. Let me show you a REAL technique..."

Note picks herself up off the ground, one foot after the other... and briefly takes horse stance.

"Haaaaaaaaaaaa........!" Channeling and circulating a surge of Ki through her body causes a filmy white-ish aura to swirl outwards from her skin and wrap up her whole body. But a moment later... "KAIOKEN... TIMES THREE!" With a thunderous CRACK the white energies shift to a dire crimson and pick up speed, painting her whole body with the red tinge of overdrive.

She hasn't missed the fact that there's MORE to this problem, but the uprise in nearby Knights is an exciting thing to deal with, far from a problem! And so she dives into the battle, with her speed and strength vastly amplified from before. It's far from her best, but she's chosen to up the FLASHINESS out of a pure desire for these goons to take her seriously!
Alexis This time they were traveling through mountains. Alexis has spent plenty of time in mountainous areas herself so this was of little issue, nor was it much problem to put together an oppropriate team for the trip. A long hike on rough terrain wasn't going to do much to wear out her stamina.

Which is a good thing because here comes the inevitable Things Go Wrong. Though the muscle-bound toxic-sweating bandits jumping in wanting to steal the armored skeleton just because it 'looks cool' despite being surrounded by a team of visibly dangerous individuals only gets her to facepalm. And she thought the criminal gangs in her world started trouble for stupid reasons.
Then things get more complicated when the Royal Knights show up, and with air support besides. Now what started as a somewhat comical threat has turned into an entirely different and severe threat.
With a small flicker of hope as Will makes a roaring dramatic entrance appropriate of a Space Cowboy. And he's got the right idea, they need to get the princess and the McGuffin Knight skeleton out of this fiasco fast.

"Guess we gotta make our own path." Alexis flicks a pokeball to release... a giant moth? It is, and probably not what people would be expecting from her. But that's the point, and it's not without a plan. "Starfall, Whirlwind!" The Volcarona hisses as she flutters high and spreads her eight wings, whipping up bursts of powerful air to fling back bandits and their noxious sweat away from them.
Krusty     Krusty rides around an outcropping, slowing his horse as he catches sight of Serena at the meeting point. However, he's not alone as the sounds of more people, and horses, can be heard coming up behind him. Soon enough they too come into view, a not-so-small group of Adventurers following their leader. They're a bit of a rowdy bunch, all dressed differently, some quite colourfully. Many different types of weapons can be seen sheathed or held in their hands. Many of them are talking excitedly to each other, mostly about the upcoming 'quest' and their desire to help the Rebellion fight against the evil Empire.

Krusty rides up next to Serena, giving her a nod in response to her greeting before dismounting from his horse. Patting it, the creature seems to understand the action and neighs in response, before suddenly vanishing. Motioning to the Adventurers also dismounting behind him, Krusty explains to Serena, "I've brought along some of my guild to assist in the protection of the village." It may not have been his prefered tactical option, but he agreed to proceed with it and he's not going to do it in half-measures.

Soon enough, the last leg of the journey to the village begins and Krusty walks along with Serena, somewhat ahead of his force. At her words, he asks, "Some of the others? Do we have any information on what hostile forces we can expect?" Unfortunately, it's at this point that they are acosted by muscle bandits, so strategizing will have to wait. Krusty is not initially concerned by this strange turn of events. But that changes with the arrival of a freaking Imperial Gunship. The more advanced technology is troublesome to begin with, Krusty not expecting to be facing such based on his previous experiences in this world. But the fact that there appear to be a number of elites with the group is the most problematic.

Krusty begins issuing orders to his guildmates, who respond quite well to his leadership. It appears they've been well trained. They form up around Krusty, Serena and the Skeleton Warrior, forming a defensive circle as they begin to engage muscle bandits on one side and Imperial soldiers plus Royal Knights on the other using a mixture of martial weapons and magical spells. Through it all, Krusty maintains his position near Serena, calling out, "Hold the line, let nothing through!"
Tomoe Well things are getting dicey already as Tomoe is not alone today she'd caught up with Alexis and had the idea to hook up with her. Better than both of them going in alone right? Well Alexis is never alone given her motley crew of Pokemon. Tomoe is the one who's not stuck on her own. So here they are the bandits are not utterly unexpected given the nature of this world nor are the Royal Knights.

Things are going pear-shaped here, There are Gearlans here.

"Garlemald here?! Things just got worse."

She doesn't even know about the others helping the Royal Knights' just yet.

"Alexis keep me with ranged cover when you can."

There's no way she could fight a force like the Garelans have here alone with additional elite support, but the general plan isn't beat them it gets in, gets the princess and the Skeleton the heck out of here.

Tomoe will dive bomb into the bandits and start engaging them up close and personal using both her sword and shield and the odd light spell.
Sanary Rondel With the Royal Knights and the Imperial Forces joining in on the fight, Macho Goro and Gambo both leap into the fray with diving kicks of their own. "Hmm! Not bad. It's our turn, then!" They shout in unison, landing and skidding before linking arms and jumping again, this time spinning with one leg outstretched each and battering away any who draw near!

The unnamed Godats bandits, meanwhile, are stuck splitting their attention between the Elites assisting Serena on one side with the Royal Knights and the Elites assisting them on the other. Although their physiques are nearly unmatched and give them considerable striking force to combat their more armored opponents, their lack of actual weapons and physical protection prove to be quite the handicap. Fighting the soldiers among the Blue Knights is one thing, but their efforts only go so far against the Imperials with their advanced Magitek.

"Hop.. On?" Serena seems skeptical as William offers herself and the Skeleton Knight a ride, the latter still slicing up bandits and soldiers alike with broad strokes of that magic blade. "Mounted combat isn't my specialty, but I'll leave the direction to you." Shrugging once, Serena launches an array of fireballs at a leaping bandit to blast him away before climbing on and keeping her sword and shield ready.

Strange's ice spell makes things even more dangerous for the bandits. Although their bodies are honed from years of MAXIMUM GAINS, their unique choice of outfit leaves them little cover on their feet. Even all that SWEAT doesn't keep them slipping for long, and some of them even get stuck face-first after slipping! ROCK HARD GLUTES also don't help much when they're being battered about with a staff, either, and being launched into a massive blast of wind from the Volcarona keeps them from taking advantage of their MASSIVE VERTICAL LEAPS and the height advantage!

With Stella charging in as well, the bandits' lack of armor becomes even more apparent. Although their wills remain unbroken for the most part, those that receive the deadliest of wounds between Stella and Tomoe let out confused cries as they're sucked into those swords! They're not sure what sort of magic is causing it between the two of them, but both warriors received a wider berth as the bandits don't know who's making their own numbers outright disappear. They even start to regroup around their bosses when they land from their TWIN CYCLONE KICK.

"Hah! So there's one among you that uses pure force, huh? Then let's see if you like this!" As Gambo keeps Goro covered with more rapid and brutal strikes to keep Krusty's guildmates from running roughshod over them entirely, Goro has his sights set on Note. He braces his hands together in front of him in a vaguely familiar pose, then to his side in an especially familiar pose as energy starts to gather around his palms. He roars out after a few seconds, thrusting his palms forward at Note as a massive energy beam fires forwards, burning everything it touches!
Stella     With a line of bandits cleared, Stella's aim shifts.

A blazing light fires from one of the largest bandits. Half a dozen blades form around Stella, like floating cannons. Goro's beam reflects off the glimmering surfaces of the blades, as if the energy being directed at Note was inside the blades as well.

Then the blades fire like projectiles, straight at Krusty's guildmates and only them. On impact, whether with them or the ground, they detonate with the same kind of light and force as is contained in Goro's beam attack, but spread like an explosion, complete with crystal shrapnel from the blades themselves.

Stella advances amidst the explosions, headed for Serena.

Unlike before, there's no attempt to be nonlethal here. Stella doesn't actually care about killing people. She was being nonlethal because prisoners are worth more than corpses, but if it isn't convenient to capture, then it isn't worth it.
Krusty     Krusty is keeping a keen eye on his guild as they fight against the two opposing sides. The muscle bandits are proving their strength against the Adventurers, holding their own despite the lack of weapons and armor. Though for each Adventurer that they manage to beat up with their bulging fists and rock hard feet, another rejoins the battle as healers behind the lines restore their injured fellows.

The battle on the other front against the combined Imperial/Royal Knight troops is going much the same, swords, axes, staves and even more unique weapons clash. Behind them, sorcerers channel their magic to unleash explosive spells against hulking machines of metal firing their guns. Even more Adventurers fall as swords explode into light against them and the ground around them. But they don't stay down long as Clerics cast their restorative spells, lights engulfing the downed fighters, causing them to climb to their feet once more to resume the battle.

All the while, Krusty looks concerned, saying to Serena as she jumps onto Will's machine, "I'm not sure how long we'll be able to withstand this." He turns to look at her and Will, "You should try and break through to reach the village. I'll do what I can to delay them."
Zenos yae Galvus     Troops report via radio to him that they spotted a Skelleton weilding a blade. Zenos, instead of the slow walk changes directions and starts moving with purpose towards the report of the skyarmors. Zenos, as he starts wading through the battle, draws a single Katana from the Sword Revolver. each swing of the blade cuts down those in it, though he does not stay specifically to engage anyone...simply that he needs to not be hindred, and casually flicks his weapon with minimum movement on his part. Infact, it's interesting to watch Zenos, he spends very little energy, and moves very little with each blow, but each strike is as deadly as the last.

"That would run counter to my plans," Zenos says, as he speaks towards Will and the Princess. His gaze running right towards the Skelleton, as the blade swings once, aiming to try and use pure air pressure to press the zombie-man back.

"While I care little if you run, boy.." he says to Will, "These two need to stay in our care. Now...I offer you this chance. Surrender, go back to the Knights so that the Princess can go home, and give the sword to me." he says towards the Skelleton.

"However, I do not think you will take the offer. So let us not mince words." he says, and starts moving, that slow Jason walk, aiming to take him into a fight.
August Kohler The blue knights are professionals, even if they're not the best division in the Royal Knights. Those with halberds can fire lightning magic from it, making them dangerous against both the adventurers and the bandits, but they're still pushed somewhat back. Unlike some of the other knights, though, they have a sense of self-preservation, swapping positions with their allies if put in jeopardy and making sure they're not coldly killed in battle where possible, working together to make sure that they remain alive. It's a big change of pace from Katrina and Valgar's suicide knights.

As Goro attacks Note with a massive laserbeam, Gash leaps forward, moving to come down with his blade on Goro, though he's open to take hits from those punches and sweat in the process, which would burn his armor and send him slightly reeling. "You must be their leader. I am Gash Deadeye, Commander of the Royal Knights! Taste my blade!"

Though, Note's still a problem. As Gash comes down on Goro, he quickly gestures for several of his knights to move and gang up on Note, attacking with their swords and their lightning halberds, slashing, cutting, and shooting lightning bolts. Note might be able to push past them to get to Goro and Gash, though...!
William Pauwel "It's fine, it's fine!" Will answers the princess' concerns with a winning smile. "Just leave the drivin' to yers truly, and we'll make it through this with all our bits in the right places!" Perhaps not the most reassuring of statements from a man who appears to have two mechanical prostheses for arms.

Will just starts revving the engine to break through the blockade when suddenly, one of those magiteknological guys comes charging their way! What a surprising turn of events! And he's making demands! But at least he's self-aware enough to know that they're probably going to be denied. As for Will...

Will is... starry... eyed?

"W-wow! That's some incredible armor y'all got there, mister! Lookit those actuators. Those steam powered? Hydraulic? Somethin' else!? Ah, it don't matter! I wanna see how it works! But-- but I've also got a delivery t' make! Sorry mister, I can't just let the princess go, even iff'n your suit is super cool!"

Will brings his motorcycle into a wide, banking turn. "Miss Serena, mister Skellington, I dunno how much firepower y'all are packin', but let me take a few shots from range 'fore we start makin' with the swordfights!" The gunslinger takes aim-- and fires! But not just any fire, it's a weird rippling blast of electromagnetic madness! Lightning leaps and bounds around within the vaguely spherical projectile as it races towards the armor-clad Imperial. "Name's William Pauwel by the way! Nice t' meet ya, mister armor guy!"
Sanary Rondel The chaos that's swept over the battlefield is reaching a fever pitch as lasers, guns, magic, ki, and sweat fly while swords, spears, fists, and spears clash in a cacophany of bodies falling and getting up almost at a rhythm with the sheer number of bodies around.

Goro, facing a challenge from Gash as the Blue Commander comes diving towards him with that sword, laughs boastfully as he launches himself into the air to meet the knight. "WAhah! I am Macho Goro, boss of the Muscle Heads! Let's see how your sword fares against my mega-muscled form!" He swings his foot up in a big FLYING KICK even as that sword leaves a sizable cut along his torso. It's not the deepest cut he's had, but it's not a hit he can afford to take too often. With the force behind his jump and his kick, though, It may very well be that he's testing himself in this fight, even if it'll leave him worse for wear.

The Skeleton Knight, facing a more direct challenge from Zenos, braces the magic sword in front of it as it withstands the blast of air from Zenos. Its boney boney feet dig up the earth beneath it as it holds its ground, then advances on Zenos in a similar SLOW IMPOSING MARCH as it prepares to meet BLADE WITH BLADE. Serena seems unwilling to leave the knight to fight on its own, meanwhile, and nods as Will makes his intent to face off against Zenos known. "Use caution. Weapons like his soldiers' aren't from around here, so be ready to dismount quickly if something comes." As she says that, she smacks her sword against her shield, preparing to defend the motorcycle from ranged attacks!
Doctor Strange      Making her own path with Volcarona doesn't just take the bandits by surprise. Strange, too, is bowled over, his staff flying out of his hand and dissipating. He goes sliding down the icy path he's created... before another Strange arrives in a flash of green light, creating a portal upon the ground. Strange slides into it, falling out of another placed in the air. The Cloak of Levitation billows out behind him, holding him up in the air.

The Sorcerer Supreme gets a good look at the Volcarona, as well as its trainer. "Okay... big bug." He lifts a hand, beckoning to the physical plane. The ground beneath the Pokemon looks as if it's been covered in shattered glass for a moment. Two columns of stone rise from the ground, each one a flat slab. Strange claps his hands together, and the columns rush towards Volcarona, the attack intended to crush it.

Of course, hardly anyone ever swats a bug on the first try. Strange hurls a burning disc of rotating glyphs towards the top of the opening created by the columbs. It flies through the air with an odd chiming noise, cutting through the landscape like a buzzsaw before angling upwards to... well, /buzz/ Volcarona.

For a moment, Strange disappears. Then reappears. Both times, in a flash of green light.
Stella     Serena escapes with Will.

Stella loses interest in Krusty's guildmates. She turns, her attention now fully on Will's vehicle as its course is halted by Zenos. With Stella coming in from behind, it's an unfortunate sandwich.

With her feet on solid ground, it's a trivial matter for her to launch crystals through the earth. A long streak of blue-ish crystals shoots from her foot as she stomps it down, growing and surging into massive spikes once they reach Will's vehicle - but more specifically, once they reach Serena.

    She's the Rebel VIP.

Taking her out is a priority.
Krusty     Behind his glasses, Krusty's eyes dart across the battlefield, taking in the tactical situation as the three forces clash against each other. Ideally he should try and get the other to sides to engage each other more fiercly, lowering the pressure on his own forces. He starts issuing more commands, organizing the two fronts to back up and merge. This should hopefully provide more space for the bandits and combined Troopers/Knights to clash against each other.

The main problem comes with Will's inability to break through. And it appears to come in the form of the enemy commander. A small smirk shows on Krusty's face for a moment at the thought of engaging the man directly... No, as much as it would be satisfying, he needs to focus on the battle or they could quickly find themselves overwhelmed. However, the brief diversion of his attention does provide a bonus as he sees Stella moving to attack Will's bike and Serena specifically. Krusty calls out, "Will! Incoming from behind!"
Zenos yae Galvus     "I was not asking," Zenos says, with a tone that says he has little time to do with fools. Increadibly bored, he simply marches forward. The sword flashes quickly, as the strange electromagnetic bullet fires. The sword slaps the bullet, quickly, and sends it flying out of the air. Even as the electrical burst from it surged through his armor, other than some mild injuries and burns along the armor, he looked very unimpressed as he simply deflected the shots away from him.

"Weak," he comments, as the Skelleton comes to engage him. Zenos matches his blade with his own, the two causing a few sparks as steel meets steel. "Hmph...you shall entertain me for a while. Do not disappoint me...or I will destroy this blade with one stroke." he threatens, before the clash causes a small gash along the armor. The two collide again, before Zenos once more attempts to smash the Knight back.

"Hm...very well," he says, as strange apparations seem to fall from the sky around Will, Serena, and the Bone Knight. They glow with a green energy, before they burst with a strong wind pressure, aiming to toss them towards the stone and the hard ground.

Zenos, calmly, continues to walk casually.

The soldiers are very well trained, working to support each other in effective squads. Though elites could win against these troops, stock bandits and rebels would fair poorly. Worse, even trained soldiers would be hard pressed against the Magitek Knights, as their main cannons come on line, and aim to blast entire squads with the explosive force of the cannon.

"Hurry up, if you do not beat me...all of your friends will die for nothing," Zenos taunts, attempting to give himself a better fight.
Tomoe Things are getting damn serious today, there are more heavy hitters the bandits seem to be already learned to avoid her and wait whom else is in this mess? She sees that someone else is going after Alexis and her Pokemon, while many of the other attackers have been tied up. She catches sight of something. Stella is still here and she sees that Stella is going after Serena.

She shield slams the bandit she was dealing to give herself the chance to break off.

With that she'll flare her wings out, break off and dive bomb at Stella, well aware of some of the abilities Stella has this time? Tomoe is a little better prepared this time as she launches herself at Stella moving to intercept her and strike out with her sword.
Note     "No way..." As the heap of downed goons piles up, Note grins DELIGHTEDLY when Goro steps up to the plate... but that look turns purely disbelieving and shocked the instant she sees that stance he's taking. "That's... where did you learn---"

No time to question it. Still blazing red with the Kaioken's multiplied might, she thrusts both palms out in cupped form and draws them to her side. "Kaaaaaa meeeee..... haaaaaaaa meeeeeeeee..... haaaaaaaaaa!!!" It's rushed and abrubt as it gets, but Note's outthrust palms unleash a white-blue beam of nearly equal size and girth. The energy noisily fills the area with an unearthly thrumming and casts everything in stark brilliance and deep shadow from the intense light it gives off, easily drowning out the sun.

And then the blast crashes straight into the heat-wave. The two collide wildly in the middle of the path, sending out a ground-ripping shockwave with the oomph to bowl people over if they're not paying attention!

Through this, Note keeps her footing, though her feet dig into the earth a few inches from the backlash.

But then something unexpected happens. Both she and Goro are beset upon by KNIGHTS! Sensing their approach she yells at them, "Are you kidding?! Don't get near this. Do you wanna die?!"

They've come in swinging though. Blades and lightning and the works. She's struck in the back by an axe blade that STRANGELY REBOUNDS from her flesh as if she was made of solid steel, but the impact still causes her to stagger and lose focus on the Ki technique.

The swirling colliding energies, unstable on both sides due to distractions, EXPLODE BRILLIANTLY, sending huge chunks of rock and dirt in every direction across the battlefield and making a hell of a mess of the ground. Note shields herself with her arms... and is pummeled by lightning bolts during the bombardment.

Finally, it all dies down. The girl's engulfed in obscuring dust though, arms still crossed over her face.

A few angry noises are the first things to leave the dust cloud. Chokes and hisses. "I finally found a decent opponent and YOU GUYS decide to butt in! More of you thugs who just do whatever you're told like trained dogs." It seems she doesn't really grasp the difference between the ruffians of this gang who didn't bother to introduce themselves, and the knights who are doing the same.

"Lucky for you guys, I always hold back my strength so I don't kill anyone... but don't think you're going to just WALK OFF what's coming! You're going to be so black and blue people'll think you're a whole new species!"

With a *CRACK-WHOOOSH* the dust cloud's blown away... blown away by the golden light that now surrounds Note, rushing upwards like a crackling fire. Her once-black hair's split into an array of golden spikes - even the dangling ponytail's seen fit to float upwards behind her head. Angry green eyes glare out at the knights as she takes a half-step forwards and deepens her stance.

"HYYYAAAH!!" Like that, she's off. A one-woman army of furious chops, spinning kicks, and elbow slams to the armored knights. It doesn't really matter what sort of armor they're wearing, because she's wielding the strength needed to not only crumple metal in on itself like it's twigs, but to just outright send people flying.

That is, quite bluntly, her strategy. She's aiming to beat into the knights until they're woozy and disorganized, and then turn them into LIVING PROJECTILES with solid FLIP-KICKS... sending them at their boss.
Alexis "Less flirting and more extraditing!" Alexis snarks over her shoulder at Will. Then turns back to the sheer chaos around them. This is a bit hard for even her experience to keep up with the hectic fray. "There's another group over the-Whoa!" She topples over backwards as the ground abruptly cracks open and rocks shoot out of it on either side of Volcarona. "Starfall!" "Vol--" And the stones slam together. Hard to tell if the guy knew something akin to a Rock type attack would be really good, or it was just a really lucky guess.

Energy flickers in the gap left between the stones, and by the time buzzsaw also rips through Alexis has already recalled the pokemon into it's Pokeball. "Well that didn't go so well."

But the buzzsaw spell does give her a bead on where the attacks came from. Some sort of caped.. wizard? Well then. She flicks a different ball, this time releasing a bipedal yellow fox. "This looks like it would be up your alley, Majorette." She points towards Strange. "Let him have it!"

The fox pulls what appears to be a stick from the fluff of her tail, waving it around a few times before pointing towards Strange. "Braixen!" The end of the stick bursts into flame, sending a shower of sizzling sparks hurtling towards the sorceror!
Stella     Stella raises her hand. Tomoe's blade plants itself into it, cracking her skin like it's diamond and pushing the 'girl' back a bit. Her head turns to look at Tomoe, no longer able to pay Serena as much mind as she should.

Well, Zenos looks like he has this covered.
    So does Gash, really.

"You are interfering. Please do not do that."

Stella's hand closes around Tomoe's sword, suddenly trying to pull the girl in to stab her in the stomach with the blade she's holding in the other hand. It does mean Stella's blocking hand is damaged further, but the crystal-like skin seems to be patching itself up pretty fast. Freeing her own sword should probably be a priority for Tomoe, after not getting stabbed!
Sanary Rondel Spotting those incoming crystals, Serena tightens her defenses as she pushes forward with her shield to keep them as far away from herself and William as she can reach. The impact of the giant spikes knocks the swordswoman in red off the vehicle, and she skids back several feet before hopping back a few times to regain her footing. She's caught off guard when the sudden pressure from Zenos' apparations make it harder to move, although she still resists it enough to remain standing while the Imperial gets a confused look from the princess.

"The one from that first night... And who are you? Why do you two fight for the Royal Knights? Kanon only seeks to destroy the kingdom if he gets his way!" She shouts towards the both of them as the Skeleton Knight clashes with Zenos, holding a considerable amount of strength despite a distinct lack of muscle or flesh of any sort. It swings that two-handed blade at Zenos' katana with a single arm, meeting his blows head on with flames pulsing through the sword's surface.
August Kohler As Goro takes the slash in stride, the flying kick comes at Gash, smashing into his armor and knocking him back, though the commander lands on his feet. He's certainly trained for combat like this, and has quite a bit of experience, as he twists his blade to push Goro out of close range. "You Muscle Heads will be dealt with! But first..."

Note's giving Gash's knights a pretty good beating, smashing into their armor and dizzying them. As several are sent flying back in Gash's direction, one knight dives in the way to stop a living projectile, trying to help his boss and getting taken out in the effort, while those with halberds start to back up and focus on lightning magic instead of close ranged combat with Note. The small contingent of knights is quickly getting thinned, though, as several fly at Gash. He holds up the blunt of his blade, using it to shield himself as he's hit and skidded back, armor dented and damaged and his skin bruised, though Gash forces himself to stick to his feet, pushing the knights aside. "They're alive. Quite merciful...that won't save you, rebel scum! Hraah!" Gash's armor and sword suddenly burst into a magical corona of fire, the flames swelling primarily around the blade before Gash swings forward, sending a large fireball at Note. But that's not all...

Entirely ignoring Goro for now (which might allow the bandit to come up on his back), Gash charges behind the fireball, using it as cover so that he can do a cross-slash on Note, trying to damage her strong skin with his own might and massive blade. "Show me what you got!"
Tomoe Tomoe gets this strange girl is made of crystal and keeps that in mind as she replies to her.

"I'm afraid I will not stop unless you back off and leave."

Stella being polite is rewarded with a lack of trash talk or taunting from Tomoe. She's locked in combat and the Dawnbreaker is stuck pretty well and good here. She's able to keep from getting a gut stab which would likely put her in a very bad spot if not fatal, she does get hit her flank is caught and it's pretty nasty there's a long red line Tomoe clearly is in pain from that, she'll twist about taking her sword by the hilt and will twist it free trying to kick off of Stella with as much force as she can muster.
William Pauwel Wwwwell, that's certainly something. Not many people can just slap energy bullets out of the air like that. Moreover...

There's more than one!!

"Got it, thanks Krusty!" Will yells over the chaotic din of the battlefield. "Hold on, miss Serena! This is gonna get choppy...!" Crystals race toward the motorbike, splitting the earth as they draw close. Meanwhile, the sky blazes with emerald apparitions. Air magic descends as the crystals draw ever closer. Will...

Hits a button.

Suddenly, the motorcycle punches out of the way, blasting forward on a sudden blast of thruster fire! The crystals blast up out of the ground and just narrowly miss the bike and its rider, as the airbursts slam and bruise at the young gunner's back. Unfortunately, it seems as though the princess isn't as lucky, and Will's evasive maneuver isn't quite enough to save her from being knocked off the ride...!

Well.

It looks like this isn't going to be so easy.

Fine.

"Judgment, mode change. We're goin' in hot," Will growls, his weapon's glow changing from crackling waves of electromagnetism to a veritable nova of blinding, coruscating plasma. "Miss Serena, get back on iff'n you can! I'll cover!"

Will fires again. One shot, then another, then a third aimed at seemingly empty air. This time, the bolts of pure energy aren't just built to punch or puncture-- but to explode in mid-air, rupturing and blossoming into crackling clouds of hyper-energetic plasma all around the Imperial swordsman...!
Doctor Strange      "Oh, okay." He actually has no clue what's going on.

He can kind of get the picture when a giant moth makes a big cloud of wind, but, well, he's not really sure what to expect from a fox. With a stick. When said fox hurls a shower of sparks his way, he spends a little too much time gawking and not enough getting out of the way.

A very annoyed, singed Doctor Strange appears in a flash of green light, with a magically conjured spear in hand. He tosses it to the Strange of the present, then vanishes. Present Strange levels the spear at the shower of sparks... which then fly directly into it. It looks really cool. Until it starts turning red hot and burning his hands. "Ow, ow, ow..." mutters the sorcerer.

The spear's shaft is flexible, like the traditional Chinese versions of the weapon, and so, when Strange menaces the distant Braixen with it, the bladed tip wobbles. Strange deliberately wobbles it even more, spinning the blade in a circle. The red-hot haft slowly cools, and the energy of the attack travels to the blade... which begins sparking.

Rings of lightning form from the circling of the spear, and with a forward thrust, Strange sends them towards Majorette! The sorcerer sighs. "Okay, be right back." He disappears, again. When he reappears, he no longer has the spear in hand, and Alexis can more clearly see the singe marks her Braixen's attack inflicted.
Sanary Rondel With Krusty reorganizing his guildmates and having them regroup while Gash's knights clash against the Muscle Heads, things on the non-Elite front are starting to turn against the bandits. With Goro and Gambo as the closest thing they have to any sort of organization, there's clearly no strategy being employed in this massive brawl. The bandits flex and punch at anyone within reach, often leaving their unnecesarily defined backs exposed.

Goro himself runs a hand over the gash across his chest meanwhile, chuckling despite the pain and bleeding. "So he's that strong, huh? Not bad, not bad at all!" He holds a hand out as even more energy starts to gather around his palm, congealing into a slowly expanding ball of the same firey energy he had launched as a beam earlier. Unlike Note, he has no qualms with interrupting fights or attacking from behind, and he waits until Gash charges for note before flinging a massive energy bomb towards the pair!
Stella     "The Royal Knights interest me. I wish to discover what they stand for. I wish to see what makes them knights. I wish to learn from them," Stella answers SERENA, just as Tomoe also replies and then gets into action.

Her foot strikes Stella, and her blade frees itself, shattering Stella's hand by the same stroke, the crystal golem taking a few steps back to consider the situation.

As crystals grow to replace the hand, taking the hue of skin after a few moments, the knight of crystal grips her blade tighter, before swinging her arm in a wide angle to lob it towards Tomoe's feet.

It becomes a grenade, scattering sharp and jagged pieces of crystal in every direction as it explodes.

"Very well. If you insist on interfering, I will fight back."
    That was kind of obvious.
Note     "Urrrghhhh...!" It's trickyt fighting so many Knights. Their use of weapons and magic interchangeably is an oddity. If it was guns, well, she knows how to deal with guns easily enough. But it's not. It's unfamiliar melee weapons and LIGHTNING BOLTS that it turns out she can't block. Only a fraction of the shots at her actually do land, but there's plenty of points she's too focused on dodging to launch a meaningful attack! Then, she's forced to take a few bolts, go on the offensive to disrupt her enemies and send a few more knights flying... and the cycle repeats.

    It's exhausting. And yet...

Finally, Gash is paying attention to her. A worthy opponent! Note's looking scorched in places. Her clothing's a bit more worse for wear than she is though.

"Don't know what you guys have been told, but you're being duped by an evil wizard. We're gonna put a stop to that before life gets worse here! Even if I gotta break a few arms to do it!"

Ack, though. Fireball and lightning rush at her, an overwhelming assault. It knocks her off-kilter, enough for Gash to deliver a scatching one-two slash across her body. Unlike the knights, HIS blows are able to draw blood. There's still HELLISH resistance from whatever she's made out of though... for all she's bleeding from her arms and one shoulder, the slashes aren't deep enough to hit any vital arteries. Close. But not quite.

    But. They hurt. Terribly.

"Nghssssssssss...." She flinches back, unused to the pain of being cut - quite different from a punch or a burn - but stays on her feet.

Her fists open and fingers remain tightly together, pointing in knife hand. With a few moments of focus, her forearms - and the knife hands - take on a thicker golden glow than the rest of her. Reinforced heavily with extra ki shielding so they can compete with blades...

"And the name is NOTE!" She lunges in with a series of energized chops that almost REQUIRE a sword to safely parry - that energizing sheath of Ki looks damned dangerous! - and will dive down into an elbow thrust to the gut if she can find an opening on Gash!

Of course she can sense Goro building up for another assault... and grits her teeth at this. Fighting two people at once is nearly impossible like this. Their fighting styles are just too different! "Are you this new to fighting?! Watch your back... do you wanna die?!" The assault must be broken oiff quickly and early so Note can hurl an energy ball at the incoming blast, hoping to cancel it out with her best shot!
Zenos yae Galvus     The strength of the Skelleton is noted...but Zenos is very strong himself. The Two handed sword clashes against the katana, as like the Skelleton man, Zenos holds him back with a single arm. There is a lean to his move, aiming to push the knight back, but not gripping with his other hand yet. Instead, simply trying to get the measure of the strength of the warrior. However, it hold shim there for just long enough for William to unleash plasma explosions all over the area.

The plasma rips through the place where Zenos stands, burning through the armor and searing the warrior. However, despite all of it, the armor does not cook him in his armor, he does not die, he infact...somehow, looks more preturbed by the powerful hit.

Zenos shifts his weight, aiming to stop testing the might of the skelleton, and instead seem to fade in and out of existance, before appearing across the way from both the Skelleton and Will, as his Katana comes up. With a second swing, a blade of energy extends from the tip of the blade, aiming to cut through the air perfectly, and aiming to cut both Skelleton knight, and Overengineered Motor cycle and rider. The cut itself feels strange, as if sapping away the strength to fight.

However, this puts him near the Princess.

"Really, that is something that everyone who is looking to tear down kingdoms says. 'My cause is right' 'I am the true heir'. It seems you are provide a Casus Belli for these rebels, behind using a stupid notion of 'my swords being taken away'. It has been confirmed that the person who sits on the throne is the rightful heir...and you, are nothing." he says, as the sword comes down, viciously aiming to cut Serena down.
August Kohler As Gash engaged Note in melee, the halberd warriors stop firing their lightning and move to secure their unconscious, while Gash strikes blade against energized chip. "Do you rebels believe what any old hermit tells you? Simply because he can fling a spell around?!" Gash doesn't seem to believe Note at all, though as the giant energy blast comes from Goro, Gash manuevers to not be directly in the middle of it, strafing and holding up his sword to block, though he still takes quite a bit of it, burning through more of his armor and damaging his sword. "Hrrrgh!"

Gash tries to gain enough space from Note to fling another fireball, this time in Goro's direction, but after his strike and in the process, Note's able to find an opening to dive down and gut-strike Gash, slowing him briefly and causing him to hrrk again. He almost keels, but straightens himself, and continues to flow the fire through his sword. "Note, huh? You're pretty good..."

"But you're far too young. Take this!" It comes rapidly. Gash suddenly moves to cleave the sword into Note, and then leaps upwards, doing what is basically a fiery spiralling sword strike to send the Saiyan into the air. If this works, he'll then flip the blade around to come back down with Note and slam her straight into the ground!

"Don't underestimate me, girl! I've been doing this for quite a long time!"
Tomoe Tomoe while she is known for being a brick, Tomoe is fairly skilled at maneuver all things considered which has helped to keep her alive.

"I see and I answered a call for help, and I have committed. I'm not going to just back down."

The ability that Stella has to regenerate lost parts is noted and she wonders doe sit have a limit? She doesn't know and knowing might be the key to Tomoe not ending up six feet under.

Her manoeuvring keeps herself from being at ground zero but she's nailed pretty damn well and a number of the shards are still sticking in her.

She manoeuvres again making another go at Stella, this time her blade glows and she sporing into action with a sword art, a pair of rapid slashes at the crystal knight.
Alexis What the hell is that? Some kind of teleportation? Or something more elusive to the senses. Well either way it definately makes this more interesting, and that's perfectly fine with Alexis. A good challenge to liven up this otherwise very important but previously boring hike in the mountains. "Whoever the hell this guy is, he's got plenty of tricks up his sleeve. Stay sharp, girl." The fox nodded, even as she was watching the waggling wobbling spear. Or more accurately the energy building up into it.

When the lightning rings are slung off the spear Braixen responds by flipping her stick to grab it in the middle and twirling it, living up to her name well. Though it also causes ripples of energy around the spinning motion as she conjures a Light Screen in front of herself. The rings impact, diffusing against the shield but still sending arcs of energy through to zap the vixen a few times. Yip! That still stung.

Orange eyes narrow as her ears slick back. Now it's on. Alexis appearently agrees as she clenches her fists, grinning. "Light him up!"

She stops spinning the stick and regrips it like a wand again, and the flames turn from red and yellow to ghastly shades of lavender. Several more similarly colored orbs of fire appear in the air, seeming to dance around the fox like tiny ghosts until Braizen makes a grandeous wave with the stick and sends the volley hurtling towards Strange.
Krusty     A group of Adventurers are scattered as a Magitek Knight gets a good shot in. A few of the fallen burst into bubbles of prismatic light, which float up into the air. Others meanwhile get back to their feet, proving their strength as they continue to fight.

And the attacks do not go unanswered.

A group of Sorcerers behind the front stand in a line, concentrating as magic gathers just beyond their staves. They then points the weapons at the Magitek Knights, all calling out in unison, "Inferno Strike!" The gathered magic flashes and suddenly large blasts of magical fire begin to explode amongst the Magitek Knights.

The battle appears to be proceeding as Krusty expects. Obviously the bandits are the weakest of the two enemy forces, so it's not surprising that they are starting to weaken. However, defeating them, or the Royal Knights and their allies, is not Krusty's primary objective. Such a victory is extremely unlikely in this situation. No, a tactical retreat in the direction of the village is the best they can achieve. And that's what Krusty is working towards, "Tanks, staggered fall back! DPS, keep the enemy ranged units off-balance. Clerics, cycled healing for the tanks!"

As he's observing the flow of battle, Krusty catches sight of their VIP, Serena, being threatened by Zenos. Damnit! What is Will doing over there!? Krusty reaches up to the two-handed sword that's only been sheathed on his back so far. Pulling it free, he calls out, "Group three, with me!"

Several of Krusty's guildmates move to join him as he starts to run across the battlefield in the direction of Serena and Zenos. He charges through several clashing bandits and Imperial troopers in the process, large blade swinging to cut them down and remove them from his path. Meanwhile, the Adventurers around him begin to peel off, distracting any other enemies who try and get the idea of trying to stop Krusty's charge.
Stella     Tomoe's quick strikes find their target, but Stella stands her ground. Her clothes are as hard as her skin - no, her clothes are also crystal. She's not wearing a fancy dress, that's just her body shaped and acting like one. The blade scratches the dress twice, nasty gashes that immediatly start sealing up.

    Then, there's light.

Ghostly flames in the distance, courtesy of a Pokemon.

Stella's hands form blades anew, twin longswords of gleaming crystal. The ghostly flames reflect off them, an eerie purple fire dancing inside the swords.

"I see. You are a knight too. I respect that. It is unfortunate we must do battle, then, but I will not falter in my objective."

Stella slashes, a brilliant purple X-Slash of ghostfire, attempting to land across Tomoe's chest and shoulders with more strength than before.
William Pauwel 'What is Will doing over there' is an excellent question.

To answer it, you'd need to rewind about thirty seconds. As a sword-beam cuts across the space occupied by bike and rider, a curious thing happens. Will... charges /into/ it. The blade sweeps across his chest, digging deep into the metal of his arms. Blood drips from a sucking wound carved into his torso through the black plate of what little armor he uses. He feels his strength drain away-- but it's fine. He has enough to hold his gun. He has enough to rev his engine, and for this, that's all he really needs.

After all--

He has a dame to save.

"MISS SERENA!" Will roars as he slams a palm into a button on his bike's central console. Its back end seems to open up into a veritable clusterfuck of oversized rocket thrusters. The thing's wheels screech and scream, leaving a streak of foreign black rubber on the mountain stone. Will roars and guns the engine, the wheels spinning desperately to keep up with the sudden acceleration.

As he...

Turns his motorcycle into a /rocket/ aimed right for that armored imperial knight.

"Y'all ain't done dealin' with /me/ first!" Will yells from atop his high-velocity iron horse. "Get away from miss Serena, you dang jerk!"
Zenos yae Galvus     The Large amount of magical energy is gathered, the Inferno strike is aimed right towards the Magitek Knight.

The Pilot throws his hands infront of his face, short of anything he could actually do.

There is a loud scream before....

A Sky Armor suicides into the ball of flame, taking the blow for the magitek knight and explodes. The Magitek knight stares...eyes wide and full of tears. Before he clenches the controls again. Without warning, without mercy, the Armor is brought towards the Sorcerers. It LEAPS over the rest of the group, diving into the group of magic casters, and attempting to land on them. This is before machine gun bursts, and magitek missiles fly out, as he attempts to single handedly get revenge for his fallen comrade. While the knights are under the command of Zenos, who is not a kind or a good man...that does discount their own virtues. War, itself, is hell.

Soldiers stand in the way of Krusty and his group, aiming to buy their lord time. In their number is a fancier armored looking man, with a gunblade.
Tomoe Stella does not wear clothing, she makes it form the crystal that makes up her body. In a way, it's akin to her avatar state when she thinks about it. She also tacks that Stella keeps regenerating. Then there is something new, Stella is going down the path of the dual wielder now.

"It seems we picked out paths already. So you see me as one?"

She leaves that state meant there as she's got to keep going as she pops one of her defence abilities there'a golden glow over Tomoe and it will noticeably help her not be cut into bits by the powerful X-slash. Tomoes able to get part o it with her shield but the force of the impact alone is enough to harm her.

The Salamander will then leap the ground flaring her wings out again and rapidly dive bomb at Stella mixing it up, lest she gets too predictable in this rather brutal fight.
Note     "What the--?!" Proving much tougher than she expected, this knight! Note's eyes go a bit wide when Gash only STAGGERS from her blow instead of going down...

A flaming sword. That's trouble. She's glad she chose to reinforce her arms... because she might just lose those hands otherwise.

Fully intent on catching that blade, Note raises her blazing arm to block. It catches the sword, the Ki blunting most of the heat and the raw force so only another thin wound's inflicted - and scorched at... she's snagged on ths trike and ends up ALLEY-OOP SLAMMED hard into the ground hard, face-first, clothes all smoldering. "Grrrfffffgh..."

This, of course, means that Gash has a fine opportunity to notice the tail that sprouts from Note's rear, with a neat little slot cut in her clothes to let it through. It doesn't look too threatening...

And yet, the tail obviously winds up... and lashes out like a serpent to SLAP Gash across his body in retaliation. There's PLENTY of power in that blow. Enough to crumple armor and break bones for normal people, easily!

    "Get... OFF!"
Doctor Strange      Illusory duplicates of Strange flood the air in an effort to confuse Braixen's attack. They all switch places midair, each one annoyed and deadpan and slightly singed from the previous offensive. The orbs of fire seek out the correct one as if guided by fate. They all burn him, striking his arms, chest and legs. But they aren't the only thing striking him. In an effort to stop the flames, the animated Cloak of Levitation begins patting Strange down, mistaking the flames for ordinary fire and irritating the sorcerer in the process.

The next attack he makes... flies right over Braixen and Alexis both. Taking a moment to weave a mandala of energy into existence with fluid, martial motions, Strange covers the ascent behind them both in ice and snow. He then ignores the frosty peak he's created, in favor of a more direct attack.

"By the way," Strange shouts over the din. "I'm Stephen." He makes a motion like stirring a cauldron, and the burning mandalas around his wrists shift from orange to green. The amulet around his neck burns brightly, and the ground beneath them begins to crumble and erode at an alarming rate! Aiming to drop both trainer and Pokemon to a prone position and hopefully knock the wind out of them, Strange temporally accelerates the natural erosion of the mountain to create a ROCK SLIDE!
Stella     "You answered a call to protect. Is that not the duty of a knight?" That's what Seifer said, right? It must be true.

The dive-bomb thrust manages to impale Stella through the chest, forcing her down on one knee. Tomoe is physically stronger than she is, but the crystal girl's advantage seems to be tenacity. And then some.

With nothing fancy within eyesight, Stella doesn't even resort to her swords. Instead, half a dozen crystak stakes burst out of the ground around her like a dangerous, protective fence, trying to knock Tomoe away to recover some of her her momentum. So far she's played largely defensively!
August Kohler Gash shows his skill and raises Note up, before slamming her down. That's successful! The problem is that he then notices Note's tail, and quickly realizes what she's going to do, but in his armor, isn't fast enough to react. He moves the blade up to block, but too slow-

The tail smashes into his armor, sending Gash flying backwards across the battlefield, pieces of armor shattering and falling to the ground, revealing parts of his buff coat beneath, his body heavily bruised from all the damage, but he's nto down yet. "Nice blow...! But not good enough!" It seems the warrior isn't done yet. He's going to try and end this here and now...

Now that some of his armor has shedded, he's going to run as fast as he can, and then leap. With the momentum of the leap, he moves to swing the sword at Note's side, land on his foot, and spin, the blazing sword hopefully knocking her back and allowing him to spin around and carve into her. It's not incredibly precise, but it's strong, a warrior's fiery technique. This is a man who's done this before, fought powerful opponents, and uses his sword constantly.

And if the fiery spin /doesn't/ knock Note back, Gash has an opportunity for that, too. He quickly pulls the blade back and does another cross-slash, now keeping account of her tail as a weapon, navigating around it.
Krusty     The Sorcerers all cry out in surprise as the Magitek Knight lands amidst them, one immediately crushed by the jump. This class of Adventurer is definitely not front line fighter material. They don't have the armour or health to withstand a close encounter like this. So they do the only logical thing. Run!

The Sorcerers begin to scatter, many of them getting gunned down, their bodies bursting into more bubbles of light. The Magitek Knight is not given free reign for too much longer though. A number of nearby Adventurers see their fellows being slaughtered and so rush to their aid. The Tanks raise their shields against the Knight, its bullets beginning to bounce off them. While that happens, some DPS classes approach from the Knight's sides, beginning to slash at it with swords and axes. Some even attempt to jump onto the machine, climbing over it to try and stab into vulnerable looking points.

Krusty spots the group of enemy troops moving to block their path. He uses a hand to signal his guildmates around him. The faster moving DPS types rush ahead of Krusty, clashing into those troops. All except the leader, who they know Krusty will be dealing with himself. Looking at said armored man as he charges, Krusty smirks.

Just behind Krusty, another Adventurer skids to a halt, raising the weapon in her hand. Wait, it's not a weapon, it's... A violin! She begins to draw the instrument's bow across its strings, beginning to play a catchy fast-paced tune as she sways to the music. Musical notes formed from light begin to appear floating in the air around her. And shortly after she starts, magical auras flash in existance around all the Adventurers in her vicinity. Including Krusty.

Buffed by the music of one of his Bards, Krusty rushes towards the gunblade wielding trooper. But he doesn't swing, or stab, or otherwise try to engage the Imperial in an impressive display of swordsmanship. Instead Krusty attempts something he hopes the soldier isn't expecting: Krusty shoulder charges the armored man, using his Adventurer strength and heavy armour in an attempt to carry him forwards and smash him into the side of a nearby rock formation.
Tomoe Tomoe says "You make a good point."

Tomoe is not sitting still, she almost got trapped in crystal prison some kind of Princess in an adventure game and has no desire to have that befall herself. She twists as she comes about on the next attack come, it's what she once would have called an AOE template.

She pulls back not getting impaled but it's clear she's got clipped, it gives Stella a moment to breathe but Tomoe isn't calling it quits either from the looks of it as she comes about again lands, and chants. Runes dance about her body as she chants in Norse, the accent is terrible, she's not had enough lessons from Inga yet.

While she uses light magic a good deal, it is not that today. No, she's fighting someone made out of crystal, today is a barrage of fire at Stella.
Alexis That could of very easily been some kind of Double Team technique. Strange may not be a Pokemon but some of his magic tricks strike a similarity, and finding a familiar reference does help in the matter of keeping a grasp on the fight and not get distracted by the chaos around them. So she actually catches the semi-awkward midbattle introduction. "Name's Alexis. Pokemon Trainer." That's more than enough to look her up by sometime, she's been around a long time.

This time they're not falling for the cracking ground though. As soon as it starts to crumble away Alexis jumps from that spot, as she does so her rollerblades deploy from her boots to allow her to keep going when she lands, zipping quickly away from where the collapse is happening. Rockslides are something to expect on mountain paths.

As for the Braixen, well she grabs her stick in both hands and hunches down to prop it between her legs, the burning end pointing backwards. Which erupts into a large blast of fire that rockets her into the air, the flaming plume left in the wake hissing into the snow and rock colliding down onto the spot where she had just been standing.

It also gives good imagery, the flames being like bristles to make it look like she's riding a broom just like other witches are famous for doing.

A broom that's blazing like a rocket as it sends the witchy fox hurtling right towards Strange. Hopefully is Strange and not more of his imagry nonsense, at least.
Stella     Fire blasts Stella back. It's easy enough to take a sword to the gut and ignore the hole (like she is now, there's a hole just slowly patching itself shut), but being knocked back by fire magic is a bit harder to control.

But there's two sources of fire in her sights now.

Still grounded from the assault, several chunks of crystal appear mid-air, glowing red-hot from the reflections of not just Tomoe's fire but Alexis' Pokemon's as well.

The jagged edges fire like rockets towards the Salamander, but the intent isn't purely to harm. The superheated crystals internalized the flames to become so hot as to cripple armor and expose Tomoe's fleshy bits.

Because that's kind of important to be able to hurt people!
Doctor Strange      "Look, I'm not crazy about hitting your pets, here--" This is all he manages to get out before a flying witch fox on a broomstick tackles him and knocks the wind out of him. It's definitely not an illusion, or else it's an /extremely/ convincing one that wheezes and goes 'oof.' And loses a bit of altitude from the impact.

Strange rolls with it as he attempts to get himself back into the fight. He's not crazy about this--but he'll do it, if he has to. A portal opens, and is flung towards Majorette. The pokemon can see where it leads: right into the crevice created by Strange's rockslide. The counterpart is naturally within that crevice. That's... not really the actual attack, though.

The actual attack is when Strange melts the snow and ice he created further up the mountain. It turns into a raging torrent of water, funneled into the crevice. It then enters into the portal, and blasts out the other side. Right at Majorette. The pokemon analogy might be fitting after all, because that probably looks a lot like a HYDRO CANNON.
Note     The instant that Gash is off of her, Note gathers strength into her arms and SPRINGs off the ground, spins about via somersault, and lands nimbly a few feet from the crater she was just in. By this point, she's breathing pretty hard... clearly wearing down. Between the strain of maintaining this transformation and the horrific beating that's been going on in every direction...

In comes Gash, and Note can oanly focus her energies to where the sword's aiming to prevent it from chopping her in half. It still catches her hard, and all of that momentum sends her tumbling backwards. On the second spin-around though...

She CATCHES THE BLADE between her knee and elbow, slamming both together to pincer-halt the spin. An effort that takes considerable strength, and does little to stop the blazing heat that starts to scorch both limbs.

With a hiss of pain, she releases the blade and backflip-launches herself away for some more distance. "Swords are bad enough normal... HOW are you making your s be ON FIRE?!" That's COOL, after all. She'l admit it.
Tomoe The fight is clearly far from over at this point, and Tomoe is quite stubborn herself as she finds more and more crystal is coming her way, as she fins that Stella has copied the heat of her spell and now they are trying to rip past tomoe's armour get to her body and maybe even in an attempt to get her out of the avatar state? She's not sure and it does hurt a fair bit. Tomoe is forced back, but she has a plan in mind, a trick Stella may or may not know about, she takes the mourning well and even as the names shimmer across its' surface she boomerang tosses it at Stella while keeping her distance for the moment.

"I'm not finished yet."
Sanary Rondel With Zenos' magical assistance keeping the presure on, on top of the katana-wielding might he's already displaying, Serena's pushing hard to keep herself from being felled by his blade. "I am still a knight of his kingdom, Sir William, even if I am no longer one in title!" Using her shield to dull the attack, she still suffers a nasty cut along her arms as it slips past her defenses. Zenos' words cut deeply as well, but Serena's expression remains focused as she readies her blade. "That's not an unfair assessment, sir. I won't waste your time trying to convince unless you're ready to listen, so have at you!" Crouching for a moment, she launches herself towards Zenos suddenly, following his attack with a sudden thrust of her own weapon towards his arm. It even looks like the air distorts around the blade from the speed of her thrust, but will that be enough?

The brawl of non-Elites, meanwhile, reaches a fever pitch as things continue to explode around just about everyone. Between all the fireballs, spells, magic, tanks, guns, absorbing blade things, and other assorted weapons? The bandits are well and truly out of their league. Goro and Gambo are doing the bulk of the fighting for their men at this point, pausing only when a frantic Muscle Head comes running up to them. "B-boss! More knights are comin'! With that foofy bloke!"

"Egh, really? Alright, boys, let's get the heck outta here! Gambo!" Goro shouts as the red-haired Gambo charges up his own energy bomb, but instead of flinging it at someone, he punches it into the air as it explodes into a scattershot of small explosions! They're aimed impeccably, though, landing and raising quite a bit of dust and smoke without actually striking anyone.

"We'll let you nerdlingers go this time, but we'll be back for that gold golem of yours!" In that chaos, the Muscle Heads regroup and start to scatter into the mountain tops! Some of them even try to escape with Stella's swords that their swole brothers disappeared into, although it might just be because they're swords than anything else.

As predicted by the fleeing Muscle Heads, pink soldiers and knights start to come into the battlefield flanking a certain screeching jester. "What's going on?  Why are you still here? This wasn't part of the script!" Zur yells as he scouts out the absolute madness on that mountain top, spotting Gash getting into the thick of things. "Deadeye! I'll take over here. My scouts saw the princess wandering near the castle!"
Stella     Tomoe's boomerang smacks Stella in the face.
Her face cracks, much more easily than when a swords was being used for the task. There's a big, nasty crack halfway across her head, like it might just fall in two at the slightest push. It's mending, but much more slowly than usual.

Is brute, blunt damage the answer against her?
Shattering crystal IS a lot easier than slashing it.

    "Neither am I."

Water. There's a surge of incredible water that she can see. Stella flings her hands to her sides, launching a dozen crystals that plant themselves into the ground, into rocks and other obstacles. The water cannon unleashed by Strange reflects off the crystals, which glow a bright, glimmering blue in response.

Stella points one of her blades at Tomoe, as if aiming or directing something. The crystals all let loose their attack at the same time.

A dozen jets of water, powerful, not individually quite as large as Strange's but together perhaps even moreso, all attempt to batter into Tomoe from twelve different directions. It's probably VERY unpleasant, like being caught in the crushing depths of the sea.

If Stella can't crack through that armor, she can try crushing it and the person inside it instead.
Alexis "That's not what you need to be worrying about," Alexis replies with a bit of a smirk. People react to Pokemon for the first time in different ways, and that was a bit amusing. "And 'pet' isn't really accurate. Some of them might take insult at that."

Then the fox bounces off from her flaming charge. Unfortunately Strage is able to grab her before she recoils away entirely and throw her towards one of the portals. Which wouldn't be a problem in itself.

It's the torrent of rapidly melting snow that comes blasting -out- of the portal and straight into her that is the problem. "Braaaix!" It both puts out the fire on her stick and kills the momentum Flame Charge was providing, instead sending her crashing back to the ground harshly. A little growl follows, and while weak she grabs her stick and uses it to push herself onto her back paws. Taps it on the ground a few times but it won't ignite again because it's wet. It's followed by some vigorous shaking, first of the stick, and then of a wet paw in Strange's direction.

While that's going on Alexis' pack ruffles around some, and another fox pokes head out of it. "Vul?" This one looks more like your typical red fox -- Until she crawls out onto Alexis' shoulder and six curly-tipped tails fan out behind her. At the questioning yip Alexis just nods a bit, and the fox hops to the ground.

Her eyes start to glow eerily, supernatural energy gathering around the kitsune-like Pokemon as she stares towards the Sorceror Supreme. "VuuuuulPIX!" At first nothing seems to happen.

At least nothing visible, as the attack is instead aimed at conflagerating that Will-O-Wisp's burning effect rather violently.
Sanary Rondel The Skeleton Knight is not taking this lying down, either, as it continues fighting alongside William and Serena against the Imperial. It doesn't seem to be quite as hindered as the princess, likely due to the magic contained in the sword and its own body as it continues to swing that sword around like it weighed nothing. That energy blade strikes it right in the midsection as it staggers back, knocked several feet away and falling into a heap. True to its undead nature, however, it gets right back up in an awkward posture that nobody with actual flesh and working pain receptors could. It takes several moments to regain its normal stance, then charges right back in with a mighty shoulder charge!
August Kohler As Note catches the blade and pincer-halts it, releasing and launching herself back, Gash almost considers pushing forward and striking again, but he's getting exhausted. Note's a worthy opponent, even if she's not his fated foe. "Well, you're a worthy opponent. Now, then-"

And then his expression promptly becomes a frown when the jester arrives. But, Gash looks back at his men. They're thinned and unconscious, and the princess is a priority. So, Gash assents, and moves to communicate with the rest of the knight team over shouting. "Multiversals! We'll secure the princess, now that the bandits are thinned. Work with Zur to take out the rebels! Knights, let's get a move on!"

All the blue knights that have fallen back start saluting Gash, and don't stop immediately. Gash clearly gets frustrated and shouts at them. "You fools! Stop saluting and let's get a move on!" And then, the knights start marching, moving towards the castle to secure the princess.
Zenos yae Galvus     The Magitek knight is slowly being brought down. The rage and pain of a soldier who lost someone akin to a comrade is powerful indeed. As the spears and blades cut into the joints of the knight, someone leaps onto the cockpit...just in time to see the man grin madly at him. "Well, I'll see you soon.." he says, probably not to the DPS who jumps on...as the blade hits him, his hand hits a red button. The Cerulium tanks are released all at once, cooking the unit...which then explodes out in a massive fireball around the Magitek knight. Blue flames wash out, which slowly turn into red flames...and then go out.

The Garlean did not expect that, a Adventures and Garlean forces collide, but the Sargent smashed by Krusty hits a rock, and nearly stops there. However, he did not get to his position by luck alone, and right after the blow, she comes up, aiming the gunblade right across his face, before turning it into a controled thrust, followed by a shot form the gun part of it. Blood running down the woman's mouth as she puts her all into it. It appears, that Zenos is an inspirint leader.

However a Sky armor had taken notice of that bard, and a chain releaes from it, attempting to snag the bard and draw up upwards. If not handled, it will likely simply go a hundred feet up, and then drop them.

Zenos, however, looks only mildly interested by The Princess. She wants to fight, infact, she thrusts expertly at him. Zenos, however, is quick with the blade, using it to parry and thrust. Using it to move around her, just one step ahead of her with each blow she swings out. This is until the Skelleton knight smashes into him, staggering the warrior back as he grins under the mask.

"Oh This is going to be INTERESTING." he says, as Will comes barreling in at him. There is a flash behind the mask...a purple light flows through the yes of the mask, before his hand reaches out. The warrior and the motorcycle collide, as the blade smashes down upon the charging thing. Both press against each other...before there is a flash. In a moment, each warrior has flashed with pure speed on the opposite side of the other. Zenos, feels the force he was inpacted on...but Will may notice that in that single blow, Zenos had sliced into the weaker potions of it's armor, and a fourth slashed aimed for his stomach in what looked like a single blow.

    "Hahaha...interesting! However...it is not enough."

With that, Zenos stabs his blade into the ground, as a shockwave of pure unbridled might washes across the battlefield. Weaker soliders that are hit by it find themselves unable to get back up, stronger ones are immoblized, but still concious...the truly exceptional may even find themselves cowed by the overwhemling crushing force by the man, as the very ground itself CRACKS by the what looked like a simple thrust. A she aims to put The Knight, The Princess, and William down for the count.
Doctor Strange      Strange doesn't really believe Alexis--but that changes when Majorette shakes her... fist... paw... at him. "You--" The very next thing she brings out is a six-tailed fox. Right after the witch. Strange tilts his head and squints. "I'm in the wrong line of work."

In magic, and in life, just because you don't see anything doesn't mean nothing's happening. The look in Vulpix's eyes is a little too familiar for the scholar of magic. A little too similar to the infamous 'evil eye' known to many cultures. The portal on the mountain disappears. The one he'd used to blast Braixen changes locations. It stands before him, widening until his entire profile is hidden behind a reflection of the staring Vulpix.

It shatters into glass, which bursts into a cloud of butterflies which fly forward and generally just obfuscate things for Alexis and her Vulpix. The cloud swirls, the insects flying in a vortex pattern, gradually revealing a hole in the cloud no bigger than a pinprick. With a sudden smell of ozone, a ray of white energy pierces through, the magically conjured butterflies absorbed into the spell to increase its power.
Tomoe When two bricks slam into each other like it is now? It takes a good deal of time for them to wear each other down, but it's happening now, it's clearly happening now at this point. Tomoe is trying to recover her shield and that leaves her exposed. She looks at STell there's not enough time to reach the massive salvo of water jets catch Tomoe from all sides, it slams into her, crushing her, though Tomoe herself is more durable than she was before she stepped into Sword Art Online.

She's clearly, however, having the hell beat out of her at this point. Her armour and body are covered with strange alien red wireframe rather than blood, or more visible injuries it's clear she's in pain from the look on her partially disported face.

The Wireframes glow bright red and the parts that are more move normally which might make it all the more unsettled, she's also soaked to the bone too, which just makes her more miserable here.

There's still fight left in her.

She looks at Stella, she shifts her stance, she readies her weapon and she moves in once more. She's faster than one might expect. She knows her foe is made of crystal and Tomoe can work with that. She dives at her, moving to shield slam Stella, not once but three times then try to follow it up with several rapid-fire sword arts.
Sanary Rondel "Good work, Commander! We'll finish the rebels off here." Zur remarks as Gash pashes him, a slimy grin crossing his face as he sees what's left to mop up. "Perfect timing, too... Now I can...!" He starts cackling to himself, stopping only when he realizes that Gash may very well still be in earshot. "Well, what are you waiting for, men? Death formation! Wipe them out!" And with that, the pink knights have joined the fray!

They aren't really that strong, though. There's a lot of them, though, and their weapons and armor are top notch to compensate! That just makes it easier for their leader to hang back, watch the fight, and not actually get his own hands dirty within the safety of a phalanx of knights!
Krusty     There's just not enough time to do anything but prepare to meet one's mak-prepare to lament their XP loss as the Magitek Knight explodes in a brilliant explosion of multicoloured fire, framed by bubbles of light floating up into the air.

Tch. Krusty was hoping his charge would take more out of the soldier than it did. But it seems that this one is no pushover. Krusty is caught off guard by the initial strike, the gunblade drawing a line across his face, blood beginning to seep out of it. However, the follow up thrust is not so easily placed, Krusty moving to stop it with his heavy armour, resulting in the shot fired to strike there too and put a dent in the solid metal.

Krusty jumps back away from the Garlean soldier, eyeing her for several moments, before finally his glasses split in half at the center fall to the ground in two pieces. Krusty gives the soldier a smile, "Nicely done."

With blood beginning to drip down his face, Krusty glances over in the direction of Zenos fighting Serena... Serena is holding her own well enough. For the moment. That means Krusty can focus on this obstacle in his path. Looking back at the soldier, Krusty appears to be waiting for something... Energy washes over him, green lights sparkling around him. The blood on his face fades and the wound closes up, not even leaving a scar. The healing from one of his Clerics finished, Krusty immediately charges in once more. This time he does swing his large sword in a single punishing blow to try and knock the soldier flying and allow Krusty past.

Meanwhile, the aura that had been buffing a number of the Adventurers, Krusty included, fades. A violin and its bow lie still on the ground, a bunch of prismatic bubbles rising up beside it.
Stella     WHOMP. CRACK.
    WHOM. SMASH.
    WHOMP. SHATTER.

Stella's shoulder cracks under the first shield smash, it breaks apart until the second, and the entire arm and parts of her torso shatter under the third, the blunt impacts breaking through the crystal with infinitely more ease than slashing or flames ever could.

One-armed, face cracked, and missing half of her upper torso, Stella still crawls back to her feet, her balance a bit off, but her gaze still deadly and set onto Tomoe. Like crystal, Stella is unyielding.

And it might be slowing down, but she's still regenerating, as growths of prismatic crystal start replacing the missing chunks of her body, little by little.

"Efficient. Capitalizing on my weakness," she says, voice somewhat distorted by the crack going through her face. "But if you cannot break me in one stroke, wasted effort."

The blade still in her hand lights up with bright white light, as though it were a lightsaber. It's the same light Strange just fired, and the effect won't last.

Stella lunges for Tomoe's chest with the blade.
William Pauwel The Mistral is built like a tank. It's no mere motorcycle, having been carefully modified over the years by generations of Pauwels. Still, Zenos' blade carves deep cuts into the Ancient armor and clips at the mechanisms underneath. Its rider is not so lucky. It's only by the interposition of one of Will's mechanical arms that Zenos' blow is not immediately lethal. It instead bites into yet more metal, and then deeper still. Sparks crack and fly as the blade penetrates into the inner mechanisms of the limb, causing it to screech and clatter unpleasantly. Will whispers a curse as he cuts power to the arm, saving what he can of its internal mechanisms for later repair.

If, you know, he gets the opportunity.

But they might not be so lucky.

Zenos issues his challenge. A wave of pure power races across the battlefield like a curtain of certain doom. Will hisses back a curse as a hot wind nearly blasts his hat from his head. 'Resist this' he says. "Damn bastard is hitting his own men... Damnit, only one choice left. Terminal Judgment, release all limiters. Engaging firing sequence---!"

The weapon in his sole functioning hand flashes once, then again. Tactical necessity confirmed. Engage anti-flash, anti-shock countermeasures. Will levels it at the man and his sword, glaring out under the brim of his hat. The visor over his eyes darkens in anticipation. The wave races towards him, and his weapon's light burns ever brighter. Brighter and brighter, a tiny mote of starlight materializes within the barrel, growing with every passing moment. Great metal stakes hiss out from either side of the bike, driving into the earth. Similar supports unfold from behind Will's shoulders, digging into the ground as the two lights turn from merely 'bright' to 'blinding.'

                            Jeans Limit Exceeded
                         Stellar Ignition Confirmed
Terminal Judgment - Firing Lock Complete

"FIRE!" Will's roar is almost lost in the thunder of his weapon discharging. It's not a shot, or a blast that erupts from the barrel of that gun. There's simply a flash of white-hot power from the end of the weapon-- which unleashes a column of protostellar energies. The earth melts and glasses over as the wave of newborn star-stuff unfurls into the Garlean's shockwave attack. The nearby crags begin to bubble and liquefy...!

This... Is the Last Light of the Ancients...!
Krusty     After his strike, Krusty suddenly feels himself becoming extremely heavy. Krusty struggles against the strange field, manging to remain standing, even move a little bit. But it's not enough to really do much except look around. And all around he can see the battle has essentially stalled. His own Adventurers aren't weak by any standards, but even they struggle to stand, quite a number of the on the ground. Krusty grunts in strain, and also annoyance, his mind quickly racing to try and think of a counter.
Alexis Well the attack was ineffective as intended, but it does get Strange to turn his attention of the kitsune instead of the witch fox. Which gives Alexis long enough to circle aside the fight to get closer to the drenched Braixen. She did good but she'll never get her fire started again while soaked and weak like that. "I use to say that all the time," she murmurs in response to Strange's comment.

The Vulpix opens her mouth and with a shrill "Vulllll!" unleashes a stream of fire towards the incoming beam. The two push back and forth a bit, but the more focused nature of the spell manages to pierce through the center of the flamethrower after a bit and while weakened from the struggle still stings rather effectively. "Pi!" The fox yowls, rolling after the impact and shaking herself off.
"Just keep him busy a little longer!" Alexis shouts. She stops skating and points the pokeball, dissolving the Braixen back inside her containment in a flicker of red. "Don't feel bad girl. I don't think this guy is your typical magician."

Doing as she's told, the Vulpix whips up her own fire once more. This time sending it out in a spiraling motion, the streams winding together in a way the form a vortex like a minature cyclone of flame, trying to pull Strange in as much as flame's burning and heat.
Tomoe Tomoe has beart the hell out of this inhuman being and it's not enough, gone are the days before SAO where Tomoe was a terror in the dueling arena, she changed a lot after what Lauchgin Coffin did to her and a friend. Yet there is no stopping her this day. Stella goes to try and implate tomoe in the chiel she moves she doesn't not get run rhuogh but she does not escap either she lets out a crzy of pain and then comes Will's warning.

With that warning she says nothing for a moment, her wings flare out and she takes off to the skies, one thing is certian the choice to go help the Restiance was the better option, but one question remains. Where the hell was Staren? No time for that it's time to go and with her wing in the air Tomoe is pullin back there's nothing more she can do here...
Sanary Rondel As Serena regains her footing and the Skeleton Knight takes up arms in front of the princess once again, Zenos' wave of magic weighs down on the pair. The swordswoman's knees bucklet beneath her as she uses her sword to prop herself up, and even the mighty skeleton finds itself weighed down. With that attack from Zenos coming onwards, the Skeleton Knight braces itself for impact, fully ready to tank that attack between the two of them. (William can take care of himself.)

The impact, instead of piercing through the Skeleton Knight, send it hurtling backwards once more. Not expecting to be blasted into by several hundreds of pounds of armor and magically-empowered bones, however, the princess collapses undereath the Sekelton Warrior and lies unconscious. It remains on top of her as William's own attack flies for the Garlean, covering her from any potential backblast, and Zur...

He's fine with just watching from a distance.  "The rebel village should have been destroyed by now. It would've been great to blame it on those steroid junkies, but that's been ruined by all you freaks! Ah, my ingenious plans are just wasted on people like you..." Zur lets out an overdramatic sigh as he topples back onto one of his soldiers that's already prepared to catch him, holding him for exactly 2.8 seconds before dropping the jester commander as the combined shockwaves knock the pink knights and Zur on their asses summarily. The former stay collapsed in a heap, but the latter just screeches as he pulls himself up and starts stomping incessantly.

"Wh... What do you think you're doing?! What ever happened to chivalry and not attacking spectators?!" He shouts as he starts kicking at his troops, spurring a few of them back onto their feet to get right back into that phalanx to cover him.
Zenos yae Galvus     As William unleashes hell towards Zenos, the Garlean turns towards him...

"You have already lost, but I shall entertain you just a bit longer..." he says, as Several swords drop infront of him. These ether coated blades hit the ground, as they draw a line right towards Zenos. The strange pattern isn't just for show, as they encase the Garlean in a barrier. As the wave washes over him, the swords start to crack, slowly breaking down. However, each one is transforming that massive attack into pure ether, and sending it back towards Zenos.

Finally, the attack, blunted but not negated washes over the now revealed Zenos, the armor does melt a bit from the force of the blow. Heat washes off of him, but...unlike the attack that was meant to finish him...he does not die. The three blades, however, are revealed to not be proxies, but real. He dashes towards the first. "Have you the power to transcend?!" he demands, as the sword is brought down. Lightning courses through the battlefield, as if an entire thunderstorm was released at once. He dashes to the next, as a hurricane force windo washes out from him, aiming to blow anything still standing to the ground...

And the final blade, a dark blade is grabed, as Zenos LAUNCHES himself towards William, the blade cutting through the air as a hot knife through butter as he appears on the opposite side of William. Blade extended, as slowly, he sheathes it, walking away from William and towards the Princess.

Because why William was charging his attack. Zenos was studying the blade.

The Captain facing off against Krusty smiles back in return. However, as he has healing spells on him, she too has a Medicus unleash a cure on her. Swinging her blade around, Zenos' blade work has down it's work. However, the Captain does not take the chance she has to finish him off.

Instead, she moves to grab the Princess, as Zenos reaches over to pick up the blade dropped by the Skelleton.

Unless opposed, they would start walking towards the Gunship.
Stella     Tomoe withdraws. Stella looks down at her broken body, which is slowly patching itself together. She looks around at the battles still ongoing.

The Crystal Knight lumbers towards Zenos, even still missing an arm and a chunk of her torso. She still has a blade in her good hand. She's healing. It's fine.

"My opponent has been dispatched. I am still capable of efficient combat."

Efficient is relative, but combat not so much.
Doctor Strange      The butterflies dissipate, and reveal a battered Strange, burns still aching despite his best efforts to keep the mystic wounds at bay. The glyphs upon his wrists flare up at Vulpix prepares another attack. Strange's eyes are wary as he watches for some sign of how to counter it. It's fire, so, not the hardest, but still dangerous.

Flying backwards to fight the tug of the vortex, Strange's arms move like a soft style of martial arts, fluid and calm despite the urgency of the situation. Winter winds whip from his palms, mirroring Vulpix's attack to the best of his ability. Frigid motes of shock-white snow, coaxed by flowing hands and fingers, meet licking flames head on, winds countering the pull of the vortex.

Another Strange appears, this one's forehead slick with sweat. While the Strange of the present counters the flame vortex, the Strange of the future holds one palm high. A ball of bright, polychromatic energy forms in his hand, bristling with colorful static. He hurls it towards Vulpix, a burning ball of concussive force aimed at striking back rather than simply holding the pokemon off.
Krusty     Krusty tries to take a step towards stopping the Captain from taking Serena. Unfortunately it backfires on him as he is forced to plant his sword into the ground and drop down to one knee. As his guildmates are all incapacited along with him, there's little he can do at this point beyond watch silently...

... And begin planning for Serena's rescue.
Alexis With one pokemon recovered, and the rest of this fight not going so well for the end, it's probably better to back off an regroup. But there is one way to get out of here quickly.

No, it's not yet another mystical fox. But considering his last couple of reactions Strange might still get some marvel out of Alexis riding back into the thick of things on the back of a graceful white unicorn... That is also on fire. But not burning the young woman on his back.

Pokemon are weird.

With a graceful leap the fiery steed interposes between Strange and the Vulpix, taking the spell in his side with a clomp and a snort, but his sturdier frame withstands it better than the smaller kitsune good. And gives Alexis a change to lean down and scoop Kasai up. Then spur the firehorse's sides with her heels. "Yah!" As one would expect of a horse the Rapidash rears up briefly and whinnies, then bolts and gallops off down the path while using Agility to quicken its pace even more.
Sanary Rondel The princess, fake or true, is picked up. The Skeleton Knight's blade, oddly enough, remains firmly attached to its hands, as if held there by a magical force even as the knight itself remains on the ground. There's still an unearthly glow in its eye that seems to follow those leaving with Serena unblinkingly.

Zur, for his part, is still as foul-tempered and howling to the wind as he tends to do. "Fine! If you're going to be like that,... Hmph. I'll meet you at the castle later, then! And if you  want her back that badly, then..." He flaps his arms out, dips into a bow, then gets on a knee as light starts to rise from him into the sky.

"... Too bad, suckers!" And then he vanishes in a pillar of light, leaving his soldiers and anyone else to just start running away or find their own way out of there. On the plus side, however, the soldiers aren't particularly fast nor paying attention to what's behind them at this point as long as they're not attacked.
