Owner Pose
Xau'ra Tayuun Costa Del Sol is perhaps one of the more beautiful locations in La Noscea, though it has one heck of a bloody history. Many Pirates have made this place long ago a camp, many battles were raged here, and many lives were claimed here. Which is why it also has the dub of "Bloodshore".

Yet that was the past and though the area got rocked a bit by Bahamut, the people here haven't let it slow them down and that Castrum in the distance doesn't scare away the locals who just want to have a good time. They get use to the eye sore in the distance and so long as you don't roam to far to the north, you wont have to worry about seeing that much detail of the Castrum anyways. Though one does have to wonder if the Garleans hanging out on the upper walls don't gook down at the passing women in swim suits out on the beach.

Some construction can also been seen at the beach side. As some people are trying to make high standing piers and get the buildings off the ground and up into the air. Though a few high piers already standing with nice size canapes and even one with an open bar. Nothing like progress to keep things moving even when the odds are against you. Though interestingly, not a single sight of La Noscea's military are here. Instead some mercenaries have been hired to watch the area-- and most of them-- are drinking and having a good ol' time.

As for Xau'ra Tayuun, the dark furred Miqo'te is walking around in his white armor with his hat on his head and goggles over his eyes. This place was /bright/, even as the cloud sometimes cast a shadow over the land, it doesn't stay long. Though he is lacking his bow, but he does have his two swords at his hip.

He can be found discussing something with a male Lalafell, who is-- pretty short in comparison to the male Miqo'te. As for others they will be greeted by female Miqo'tes if they are here for the beach and pointed to where the changing rooms are. If they are here to just explore, they may get a nod from one of the mercenaries that range from the elezen to midlanders.

Yep. Welcome to Costa Del Sol.
Leyanne Mace Leyanne Mace arrives at the Costa del Sol astride a large, snorting Harley Davidson motorcycle. It's not her combat bike - it looks more like a customer's bike she's testing. She steps off and heads into the changing rooms, stepping out a few moments later in an incongruously hot pink bikini.
The giant cyborg mouse looks out over the beach, looking for a place to buy a surfboard or boogieboard, rent a jetski, or otherwise find something crazy to do here.
Sunbathing? Bugger that...
Marrik Along the beach is a large canvas tent with three of the sides rolled up to let any sort of breeze through. in this tent are tables and display racks holding everything ranging from pouches, sunscreen, and shirts to fishing gear, books on magic creatures and magic in general.

Behind the counter and in front of the back wall display of knives, spears, and more than a couple swords arranged more as artistic display framed by mage staffs than attempt at displaying stuff for sale... except everything, according to a sign by the counter, is for sale.

Marrik sat at the counter taking sips from a pint mason jar full of a dark liquid. He was dressed in beach knee high shorts and sandals showing off just how well worked his thin frame was, along with a thin white scar line at the center of his chest.
Maya Maya needed some time to chill out she needr to clear hwr head so here she was with a duffle over her should oddly Maya had red round reflective sunglasses on and her hair was actually lose for once. She run into some of the cat ladies who are kind enough to show her to the changing room off which she goes.
Alexis The Harley the space-mouse pulled up on isn't the only 'off-world' bike parked there. A deep red and grey custom cycle with flame detailing is parked a few spaces down, the only real visible clue of who it might belong to being the pokeball decal in the flames on the sidecar.

Alexis was already making her way down to find a good spot on the beach, being followed by a Braixen carrying the umbrella and Dewott pulling the wheeled cooler, which a Froufu already sporting a sunhat and shades was sitting on. "Y'know, you could actually walk like everyone else."
"Frou?" <And get sand between my toes? Surely you jest!>
"Dewott." <What else is the point of going to the beach than the sand and water.>
The poodle-mon just lowers her sunglasses with a forepaw to -glare- at the back of the otter's head. <I JUST got this style groomed, why would I get it WET?! Hmph.>

"Leave her alone guys, she's just here for the sunbathing. Though we probably don't want to be too close to the shore in case the tide comes in.

"Braixen xen brai." <Of this sand, there is a lot.> The fox-witch paused to open the umbrella and sit the end into the ground. <There is no X but still the spot.>
Psalm     If you want to talk faboulous, there's someone out on the beach itself who's... a good example of that. Magatha Songsteel lounges on a large dusty towel, snoring lightly as she rests against the sands.
The remains of a picnic basket sit nearby, currently being picked over by large crabs. Maggie's sword is in its sheath next to her.

    The lady looks very contenct.
Emiya Shirou     This place is WAY too recreational for Shirou's peace of mind. Going to the beach is something he's rarely done. It's not like he doesn't enjoy swimming or know how. But.

He doesn't have much right to be spending his life on himself, does he? No, so, when he could've gone to the beach, he usually was off doing other things. Working, practicing, studying, fixing things at school...

So coming here takes him by surprise. So does the assortment of Miqo'te girls. He's a guy, y'know?

"Calm down, calm down..." He mutters repeatedly to himself.

    Sheesh.

He's grabbed a hat to go with his usual jeans and a shirt, but honestly, he dressed badly for the area. He didn't expect a TROPICAL RESORT kind of deal, so he's looking mildly uncomfortable when he finally finds Marrik's stall and can breathe a sigh of relief at the shade. Sure, he has a hat, but now the rest of his body can enjoy some protection from the harsh sun. "You sure picked a place to set up shop at!"
Noble Six     A beach...Sure Noble Six has been on a few beaches over the past couple of decades, but usually those were littered with bodies and not really a vacation spot. In fact, Six hadn't really taken a vacation in...Ever? She wasn't even sure what you wear to the beach anymore.

But still, here she was. At least it might be her. Who's even seen her without her armor on? The blonde has on a baseball cap with the UNSC logo on it, and a pair of sunglasses, and what appears to be a loose fitting OD green t-shirt and a pair of cargo shorts. She's also somewhat pale, presumably from never leaving the armor, so a bit of sun might not be the worst thing ever for her.
Xau'ra Tayuun Leyanne sadly will find no surf boards here, but a few mercs are really fascinated by her ride. Some others looking at Alexis as well. They have to admit, Outsiders have some neat toys. Though someone does suggest to Leyanne, one of the Mercenaries actually who happens to be a Duskwight Elezen with blueish skin and black violet hair, "Maybe you could use this.." He then walks over to some of the wash up trash pile and pulls out a very sleek shell that has been chipped, but it almost has the shape of a surfboard. "..its a piece of a Megalocrab's shell. Its pretty sleek on one side and maybe have good traction for your feet on the inside."

The Duskwight hands it over to her. "I am really curious to see what this.. surfing is. So if you think this will work.." Leyanne-- educated these barbarians. Though the Duskwight also points over to Marrik's stall, "Though he may have something as well.."

When Xau'ra finishes his talk with the owner of this little slice of pie, he rubs the back of his neck as he walks away and his tail is-- slightly bristled. "Arrogant little.." He mutters a bit to himself and leans on one of the posts as he looks down at the group below. His tail twitching gently as he takes note of who is here.

Not so much the Eorzeans, but those from outside of Eorzea. Trying to pick if he may recognize anyone. Which he note a few faces, but not all of them. So with that, he flips over the post with one hand easily enough and lands down on the sandy ground below in a bit of a crouch before making his way over to Marrik's stand, where a few others seem to be gathering, "Well now! Glad to see the little man has allowed you to setup shop out here! He can be somewhat unreasonable, but.. a businessman never the less."

Xau'ra gives Marrik a warm smile, "Good to see you either wise, Marrik." He then looks over to Shirou, "Hey there-- we met right? Hard to keep up with all the faces."
Marrik "No kidding," Marrik gave a good natured chuckle and pulled a folding chair from behind the counter to set out front followed by a few more and a large shade umbrella. "Take a load off man, it's not like anyone's gonna bite." Noteably he is avoiding looking in Maya's direction. "We're all friends here after all." Small wave to Leyanne and Noble Six before sitting down in a chair he'd brought out, leaving Sparks to deal with the counter. When Xau'ra walked over he grinned and tipped an imaginary hat. "Yea yea," there was sourness to his voice because the cut the little guy insisted on was steep. "Just needed a change of pace really out, fresh air and sun." There was an aside glance in the general direction of the women in beachware, "Nice view. Does a country boy good y'know?"
Oresia All the sunlight is nice, and the lack of pollution was also a plus. Still Oresia feels a bit uneasy about all the people here. Not to mention she sticks out like a sore thumb, but that seemed to be true for most places. She then sees Alexis with her Pokemon, okay maybe she doesn't stand out so much but still...
Alexis Alexis gives an occasional wave to people, but for the most part she's trying to not draw too much attention. You know, other than having a bunch of weird looking animals following her around. She looks back to the firefox as she pitches the sun umbrella and nods. "Yeah, this is a fine spot." Alexis sets her beach dufflebag down at the base of the umbrella, and unties the towel from around her waist to spread it out on the sand.

As soon as it's down the Furfrou jumps off of the cooler and curls up on the end of the towel. "Furfour." <It is about time. Try not to kick up any sand in my direction, you heathens.>
"Stop being pest or you'll go sit in the bike." Alexis retorts with a roll of her eyes. She takes another pokeball from her back and releases an Floatzel, who runs off to the water along with the Dewott.

With handpaws free of umbrella Kindler pulls the stick out of her tail and waves it around, amusing herself by testing how much sand she can swish back and forth with her limited psychic powers. Then finally picks up a bucket and starts telekinetically scooping sand into it.
Emiya Shirou     "Mh?" Unfamiliar voices and people approaching. Well, partly familiar. Emiya Shirou takes stock of Xau'ra on approach. With a friendly smile and a slight tilt of his head, the redheaded magus introduces himself. "Emiya Shirou. It was some battle, we didn't have time to talk. Erm.... what was your name...?" It's strange enough he's surrounded by catpeople. Or that there's a giant mouse person over there in the corner of his vision.

He's seen so much weirdness wandering around Njorun that it's just not worth worrying about anymore, so even the approach of Xau'ra doesn't unsettle him at all.

But every strange new creature he spots does get eyed with all due curiosity. So does some of the stuff in Marrik's shop. In paticular, SHirou glances over the weaponry. He can't hel it. Swords and things like it just tend to captivate him really easily, even against his intentions or manners.

But anything else unusual is definitely worth a looksie.

"Yeah. This place is great." He agrees heartily with Marrik. "I didn't bring the right clothes... you should've told me it would be a beach."
Maya Maya is not trying to be blinding to Marrik she's really not meanwhile Maya strips out of her clothes in the changing room and comes out a moment later. She's still got teh shades on, simple andals and a blue bikini. For those who don't know Maya well there's a patttern of tattoos on her arms, torso and legs that might be suprising as it forms one design over all. She also heading for Marrik's stall.

"Hey."

Shirou would also get a look at from Maya.

":Hey."
Leyanne Mace Leyanne Mace saunters over to Marrik, Maya, Emiya and Xau'ra instead, and now she's close, they can see the faint hints of healing bruises from her fight with Gaius van Baelsar in places where her fur is thinner. It's also clear that her left thigh has no skin - it's white plastic, with the Arkadyne Foundries logo.
"Hey guys." She says, with a smile, still hopelessly scanning for a stoner with surfboards.
Psalm     Maggie snorts a little bit on her blanket, and rolls over to her belly. Red hair flutters around. She is out of it, it would seem. Maybe a long night?
A crab skitters over and starts picking at the sand in her hair. Clik Clack.
Alexis Surfboards? We don't need no stinking surfboards!

Or at least the Water pokemon don't. Both Riptide and Tsunami (seriously, with that name, how couldn't he) know Surf, which they use to do just that. By the Dewott using the Floatzel in lieu of a board.

Alexis meanwhile kicks back under the umbrella, all too happy to just -enjoy- relaxing for once. She does give a brief wave to Oresia though. "I've got water in the cooler if you need a drink that ain't salty," she offers to the Lilligant-morph. Because Grass type and all that.
Noble Six     Six is doing her best to keep a low profile. Just another person out on the beach. Though when Marrik gives her a wave, she's nice enough to return it to him. She makes her way up to his counter, "So...What are you selling?" She asks, though she probably asks it to Sparks, since he's the one manning the counter now.
Xau'ra Tayuun Xau'ra gives a light chuckle to Marrik. "Costa Del Sol is a good place to relax and kick your feet up. I'm here though on part business myself, though it seems that isn't going to go anywhere, soo.." He places his hands up in the air, "Time to just check out the lay of the land myself and the maybe have some fun once I'm done."

Xau'ra does glance over to the Pokemon and twitches his nose a little. Strange creatures be strange. Though some of the pokemon get watched by a few of the Miqo'te ladies as they try to make heads and tails of them, though they soon go back to their normal work schedule as the little lalafell man claps his hands and tell them to get a move on and to not stare at the guests.

The male Miqo'te looks over to Emiya and grins a bit, before extending out his gloved hand, "Xau'ra Tayuun, but you can call me Xau'ra or just Xau." He then looks over to Maya and gives her a nod, before pointing to Leyanne, "Hey there!" Unknown to Marrik, some of his suntan lotion just got swiped by one of the master thieves of Eorzea. Didn't know that, did ya? "Man.." he gives her a quick look over, "What did you get-- oh right.. the Black Wolf." He says softly then and frowns, "Glad to see you here, Leyanne."

He then points that swiped suntan lotion toward Noble Six, "Ma'ma! Why don't you come over here to my dear friend's stand and pick you up some good ol' Protection. He'll make you the right price." He then places that suntan location back down, before tossing Marrik some coin, "If she comes over and gets it-- its on me."

Then there she is, so hey-- it works!
Psalm     A yawwwwwwwn from the beach, before an aggrieved clik clak. Maggie is pushing up off her belly with a yawwwwwwwwwwwwwn and rubbing at her face. Eyes are only a little bloodshot. Well, that wasn't so bad. She'd honestly expected worse today after a night at the Drydocks.

But hey, the resort is hopping this morning! Af-afternoon? Maggie looks up at the sky and bites her lip. Afternoon, yeah. Dang.
Oresia "Thank you. Do you mind if I join you?" She makes her way to the cooler carefully removing a bottle of water from it. Oresia's voice sounds more confident than usual. She feels more comfortable with Alexis around. She came here for sunlight so she's not bothered by it, but water that isn't salty would be nice.
Maya Maya looks to Leyanne and gives her a nod before she turns her attention to people wit did she sees Alexis? She swore she saw the pink haired mistress of sports. Naw it couldn't have been she looks over to Noble Six unaware ofg just whom it is for the moment while she looks to XT for a moment grinning a bit.

"So Marrik what are you selling today?"

She also glances at Shirou.

"You seem to be enjoying your self as well Shirou."
Marrik "Books, shirts," Marrik looked back as Sparks grumbled about wearing a barbie sized green swimsuit. The little pixie prattled on about the bags of holding, bullet resistant tshirts (they can stop a nine mil handgun round! you'll be bruised and sore but better than dead.) and hovered over what could be a largish wooden salt box, or possibly a tac box before lifting the lid to show one compartment ful of snacks, and the other holding ice and soda bottles.

"We kinda packed light on 'useful' since beach and people taking a break," The pink haired pixie said apologetically, "Most of the big stuff is back at the main shop... though we do have a few books if you want to poke around the spooky side of things."

Marrik snorted at Xau'a and shrugged before gesturing to empty chairs. "I know you guys, well... some of you anyway. feel free to raid the ice box." Yet his eye was drawn to Leyanne's prosthetics. "If you got that banged up Tiny I'd hate to see the other guy."
Emiya Shirou     Shirou reaches out and grasps Xau'ra's hand for a firm shake. He doesn't do so on introductions normally, but it's only polite if the other goes for one.

Out of the corner of his eye, he sees a crab harassing a sleeping woman, and immediately feels like heading over there to correct that situation. But she wakes up before he can... well, at least it worked out.

"I'm not so bad at speaking that I can't manage Xau'ra!" He replies good-naturedly. And he's just had to shrug and bear whatever people make of his name. Plenty of people call him by his given name and not family name or lack other kinds of etiquete, but if they're not speaking his language how can he complain about it? Nobody's ought to be impolite.

His attention turns to Maya, who he's never seen in person before - just read about. The boy blinks, but his amber eyes set on her. 'You might have other talents,' she'd said over the radio. He reconizes her easily enough, but what she's wearing gets him blinking and trying not to stare. The tatoos don't help much.

So he makes a few grunts and rubs his head. "Hey. .... Hm? Well, the week's been really hectic." But that's wrong. He can't be enjoying himself. The thought of it makes him think over to the people of Dun realtai, struggling to prepare for winter...

With his thoughts wandering, Shirou's expression turns a bit airy and dazed, even a bit solemn. Yeah, he's spacing out...
Alexis Alexis reachs over to nudge the umbrella so Oresia can have a spot to sit without leaving the sunlight. "Sure thing, make yourself comfortable." Behind her Kindler has started building a sandcastle with the bucket and psychic trickery.
Leyanne Mace Leyanne Mace shrugs softly with a sigh. "He came off better, this time." She sniffs, shrugging slightly as she returns to nod to Maya. "But hey any battle y'walk away from isn't a complete loss. I'm fairly sure I gave him something to think about at least, and put a few dents into his armour. Next time I'll give him a bit more to think about... I know how he works now. But enough about that, I'm here to relax." She grins, snagging a drink from the cooler and simply twisting the cap off with her mechanical hand.
Noble Six "Protection?" Six asks, looking to the bulletproof shirts, "Hmm." She runs her fingers over it for a second, "This feels like some kind of nano-kevlar weave." She pulls on it a bit to test it, "Sure, I'll take one. Do you have on in black?" She asks, before looking over to Xau'ra, "This is a nice beach...Haven't seen a beach this nice in a very long time.."
Oresia Oresia has a seat next to Alexis rooting herself into the beach a bit. "How have things been going for you?" She hasn't spoken to Alexis in a bit. She's not paying much attention to the trainer's Pokemon instead just trying to relax for once.
Leyanne Mace Leyanne Mace pulls another beer from the cooler, twists the cap off, and passes it to Six.
Xau'ra Tayuun Soon some strange clicking sounds can be heard, before suddenly several massive crabs can marching across the other side of the beach area. They stand at least seven, maybe eight feet in height and they have a rider on one of them, with a group of others being lead by the one. The owner can be seen quickly running down to greet the rider.

There seems to be some business talking going on between the two once the rider hopes off and exchange of a handshake is made.

One of the female miqo'tes walks up to Psalm, because though she may not be aware of it, it is still possible, "Miss. I do believe you may have a crab in your hair." There was a nervous smile from the female miqo'te, "Though.. maybe it has moved on.."

Xau'ra tail twitches gently as he looks at the Megalocrabs that were just brought in before his ears go back slightly and then it is just the tip of his tail that twitches in some agitation. "..what is that crazy lalafell up to now..." He crosses his arms over his chest, "..Megalocrabs are not meant for riding.." The thief hunter then shakes his head before he turns his attention back to the others, though he looks back at Noble. He /swears/ he has seen her before.. but has he seen Noble six without her helmet? Like heck if he can remember.

He then looks over to Emiya and grins, "It is more of the fact in my tribes culture that ra stands for fifth child. So my name, if I take that away is just Xau." He crosses his arms over his chest, "Though the Seekers of the Sun lack such a thing-- truth be.. I wish at times I was born of their tribe, probably have less drama in my life when I was growing up."

He then looks at Noble Six when she talks to him and now when she has spoken up and he puts two and two together, "Oh hey! So, this is what you look like out of the armor." He muses with a big grin on his face, "And aye, Costa Del Sol is a good place-- if you don't mind the Castrum in the distance.."
Alexis Alexis shrugs her shoulders a little. "Eh, same as always for the most part. Trainer here, battle there, occasionally save the world." The last one is partially an exaggeration. She hasn't saved any actual worlds, just parts of them at times. "The usual."

She pauses at the clicking sounds from farther up the beach, then after a glance leans her head back with a sigh. "Please tell me that's just some local tourist trap or something...."

"Furfour." <Looks like walking seafood platter to me.>
"You said you're allergic to seafood."
<All the more reason to stay here!>
Maya Maya :smiles at Shirou and seems to not mind too much she knows what she's wearing she does catch him looking her over and checking out the Tattoos. She pauses for a moment.

"I can get that and if your wondering the Tattoos are relgious in nature. So I hear you started to develop some skills humm your not the first person I have known wich such abilities and I'd like to talk to you upon that in private at sime point."

Leyanne is listned to for a moment before she turns her attention to Marrik and she humms.

"I might tke one of those shirts actually."

She looks to Xau'ra and watches his tail for a moment tilting her head.

"I have no idea Xau'ra..."
Psalm     And the Lady Being Harassed yawwwwwwwwwwwws heavily as she smiles at the crowd... A little smile at the nice Miq that comes over to try and free her from the CRAB MENACE, and she snickers tirdely. "Thank you very much, young lady." She emphasises that with a ruffle of the dancer's ears and hair...
And then those pretty eyes fixate a bit on the form of one Emiya Shirou. It's a face known to the Confederacy, though perhaps not this particular version. That said, he was cute, after all. The bard yawwwwns again, as she wanders over behind the Sorta-Magus, and yays into his from behind with a extremely familiar hug. "Gooooooooood morning, Shirou~ How are you doing today~"
    Oh dear.
Marrik "Spidersilk with a cotton underlayer for sweat control." Sparks whistled sharp to get his attention before pointing to Noble, "Lady wants one in black."

Marrik nodded once and grunted while getting up. Somehow in the process he had a black tshirt in hand and was in the process of unfurling it. "Sorry about sizing they're all unisex."

Then Xau'ra started speaking and he looked, only to frown at the Giant Crabs. Almost casually he looked to the people in his shop, "Anyone need anything the wall's functional." Everything there though is ether blade or staff, though there was a ghostly hand pulling a staff down to bring to him.

He didn't know Psalm was a confederate, bur he frowned anyway at the bard for the hair ruffle, but bigger problems kept his mouth shut.
Emiya Shirou     There are GIANT CRABS wandering down the beach. And there's a rider on them. THIS gets Shirou gawking, stunning him out of his daze. Boggle. Stare. Crabs have no right, growing that big. No right AT ALL. That has to be against the rules.

As these foggy thoughts run through his head...

Something comes at him from behind!

"Hy-igh. Ghuuuuwa?!" He's being hugged! And... definitely by a girl. His whole face flushes brilliantly from embarassment, shock, and who knows what else! Overall a rather hilarious expression. A heart beating madly leads to all kinds of things.

    Oh dear indeed.

    "G-g-g-g-good morning! D-do I... know you...?!"

He does take note of what maya says a few moments after the fact, and gives her an understanding glance, but those eyes say something a little more important. 'Help, something crazy is happening!'
Noble Six     Within the span of a few seconds, Noble Six gets handed a beer and a bulletproof t-shirt, "Well if this isn't the start of a party, I don't know what is." She says, laughing a little. An odd sound from her, to be sure.

She turns her attention back ot Xau'ra and the Castrum, "I could probably get rid of it for you, if you wanted." She muses, "Not right now...But I could come back with a group of ODSTs and clear the view..They wouldn't see that one coming."
Leyanne Mace Leyanne Mace peers over at the giant... friendly crabs, tilting her head at them. She blinks, then shrugs. "Seen people ride sandworms out and about, so I guess crabs isn't that strange." She comments, sipping her beer. "Better have space for me to come along if you're after that." She comments to Six. "Got myself an M90 after the UNSC bailed my Mars out the fire a few weeks ago."
Psalm     Hahhahaha! Crabs have the rest fixated! Now it's MY TIME TO SHINE!
Psalm snickergiggles at Shirou's reaction, before releasing the hold on him somewhat, a warm and hearty laugh on the bard's lips. "Probably not, dear Shirou but it's very nice to meet you in person. Call me Maggie~" She ruffles Shirou's hair too, before letting him go all the way and laughing. It is an all over laugh. "Oh, many apologies, but you turned a wonderful shade of pink and... aahaahahahahaahahah!"
Haru     BEACH PARTY!

Haru's actually here for another reason. Once he comes out of the changing room, he's in a sleeveless tunic with a distinct Chinese styling, knee-length pants, and sandals. His hair's still in his customary topknot with the green ring around it. At least he doesn't look like a kid anymore, what with his mustache having finally grown in.

So... why's Haru here? Simple. He's an earthbender, and there's a lot of earth here in a form that he has trouble with bending. Take every opportunity to practice, right? Because if he doesn't improve, Toph is going to skin him! However, there are also people here! So he heads in their direction. "Hello," he greets with a smile as he heads down to the beach. It's aimed at all present.
Xau'ra Tayuun Then Psalm comes over and wraps her arms around Emiya. Poor dude. Xau'ra can only raise an eye brow at this before he grins, "Hello again, Songsteel. I see your being flirtatious as ever."

As for the female miqo'te she fixes her hair and then goes back to her work. At least she gets paid well for this!

Xau'ra then takes a step back from this growing crowd, but yet--- one of the female miqo'tes walks over, giving a bow to everyone. Xau'ra for now hangs about to see what this is now. The female miqo'te stares at them all before she gives a bit of a twirl and then motions toward the Giant Crabs, "I would like to announce to all that later we will be allowing everyone a chance to ride on those fantastic Megalocrabs! So if your interested, please come see the bar tender and signup!"

Then with another twirl, she goes to make the same announcement over toward Alexis and those over there as well.

Xau'ra though looks over to Noble has to say and smirks softly, "If you think you can do that, I am sure the Admiral will ever be in your debt. Its hard to get in close cause of the Magitek Vanguards-- ten foot drone machines.. and the airship patrols. Those bloody things have rapid fire weaponry and some type of cannon system."

He gives a shake of his head. "I'm surprised still that they just--- sit there. They don't even /try/ to come over here, but probably some underhanded table deal going on I bet." He gives a snort and his ears tuck back at the thought.

"Anyways, I've got some work to still do-- so I will catch you group in a bit." Xau'ra then gives a wave of his hand and then starts to make his way up the hill and into the grassy area, before moving past some brush and seemingly moving toward the north. If your quick enough you may be able to keep up with him and go see what he is up too!
Marrik Wait those were... you could practically see an anime style sweatdrop at the back of Marrik's head "Oooh right, uh yea." Weak laughter as the ghost hand put his staff back at the wall display. "I'll kinda pass sorry." He tried to smile at the noble, though the effect was spoiled with Psalm being a relentless tease. Soft sigh before getting a drink to hand to Shirou whether the poor guy wanted it or not pressed into his hand. Thankfully it was nonalchoholic and cold but still. "Dude you're wound tighter than /I/ am. Go siddown before y'pass out" From somewhere in the eather he managed to make a wide brimmed straw hat appear just before jamming it on Shirou's head. "It's alright, just a pretty girl trying to get you flustered."
Maya Maya pauses a Psalm moves him and doesn't get a bad look on her fae she seems to be quite amused at the whole affair and does take notice of the crabs she's used to huge crabs she often hunted such things for dinner. She doesn't think much of it but she leans in in Shirou now and she notes.

"You do seem to turn quite nicely red like she said Shirou."

Maya just couldn't help her self this time she really couldn't.
Leyanne Mace Leyanne Mace nods slowly and looks at Six. "This is right up Helljumper territory, wouldn't you agree?" She comments, thoughtfully. "ODSTs go in in pods, I'll do a bit more of a subtle infiltration at the same time, launching with the pods and my grav chute... take some spankers... let's talk about this later" She grins at Six. "Fancy going crab-riding? Bet you I can beat you in a race."
Oresia "I see..." Oresia doesn't have much new going on new either. She turns her attention to see what Alexis is referring to. "That is odd, I saw someone ride a Crustle once but I believe they were intoxicated at the time." She can't imagine people would try that sober. Or with a Kingler.
Alexis Alexis chuckles a bit as the miqo'tes passes by making her announcement about the mega-crab riding, and slips her sunglasses back on. "Yep, tourist trap."
Emiya Shirou     Who in the world is being so darned familiar with him?! It's embarassing, terrifying, and just kind of wrong. And now his hair's being ruffled! Shirou endures, but nevertheless struggles for a way out of this bind... and eventually wriggles free when Maggie loosens her grip. He scrambles away, ALMOST losing his balance and yet, just BARELY manages to not fall backwards onto Maya in so doing.

With wide eyes boggling, he takes a good look at 'Maggie'...

His lips twist up in consternation when she starts laughing. Oh the sour look Psalm's getting from him.

"Fine, go right ahead and laugh. Geeze, I didn't do anything to become this popular..." And he's not even saying that word seriously. If it wasn't bad enough, he's stuffed a drink, and has Maya teasing him now too. Tch!

"I-I am not! She jumped on me out of nowhere!" He protests. What was he SUPPOSED to do...?!
Psalm     Maggie can't help herself even a little bit at this point. She's snickering and laughing, her whole body shaking as she covers her face and points at Xau. "You know damn well that's my job, Guide. That's my task in life is to fluster and annoy and wheedle and entertain." A lick of her lips, and she sighs, poking Shirou in the forehead. "And thank my stars for good sports. Emiya Shirou. I am Magatha Songsteel, bard, gadfly and general adventurer." A bow. "At your service."
Alexis Alexis has ridden plenty of giant monsters in her time, so plodding around a beach on a giant crab really isn't much of a thing when you already have such things as riding horned wolves, various dragons and giant flaming lion-bear under your belt. "What about you Oseria? Whatcha been up to lately?"
Haru     Of all the goings-on, Shirou's rather obvious discomfiture is probably the most... well, obvious. So Haru heads in that direction, watching for a moment while he tries to figure out what's going on. He recognizes the voice from the radio, but doesn't quite know the fellow's name. "...You alright?" he asks, looking more than a little confused.

    Oh look Shirou. ANOTHER DUDE!
Oresia "Just the usual fullfilment of my noble duties and going to social gatherings." Oresia hasn't been doing anything special. "It's nice to get some privacy and not be swarmed by people for once." She's not big on large crowds after all.
Maya Maya is totally helping here, okay she's nopt helpng at all she does seem amused however. Well the multiersebut she's not letting Shirou in on thing just yet she's being good and not getting physical at the very least. Well for now she does keeop close and she looks to Psalm for a moment.

"You can be very enteraining yes."

Maya lets up now as she does see Shirou is a bit too bothered by things.

She also looks to Haru as he arrives.

"Hello Haru good to see you."
Emiya Shirou     "Eh....er...." With Psalm calming down somewhat, and even bowing at him, Shirou's taken by surprise.

Trouble. This girl is trouble. All kinds of trouble. He can't pin his finger on why, but... well, no, he kind of can. One thing stands out.

She just said it, after all. She really, really is trouble.

"Alright, alright, I get it, Magatha-" Her name sounds westerny so he won't bother using her family name instead. "-... except... how did you know my name?" It's odd.

They've never met. Yet she recognized him and knows his name.

There's an odd sinking feeling in his gut. He kind of knows something that might be the answer, given what he's read about the Multiverse...
Alexis "Yeah, I bet," Alexis replies as she folds her hands behind her head. "I don't think I'd ever want to be that sort of famous. More trouble than it's worth."
Emiya Shirou     Getting his bearings back enough to now take a look about, Shirou spots the stranger asking him about him and gives a strained look of acknowledgement at him. Strained because SO MUCH CRAZY is around him. "...yeah, more or less! Thanks."
Noble Six "It sounds like a job for the Helljumpers." Six says, "We'll have to get approval from the UNSC and the Union, but I think we could make it work." Six replies to Leyanne, "As far as crab racing goes...I could be game for it. But I really doubt you'll beat me." She says, smirking faintly.
Leyanne Mace Leyanne Mace swishes her tail and gives Six a grin, starting to head towards the bar. "Wanna bet?"
Psalm     Maggie snickers a bit, and hip-bumps Shirou with the one that's got the glowing tattoo on it, and smiles. "Knowledge is the greatest weapon, is it not, Shirou? So important to know people, to know who they are and what they're capable of, don't you think?" Oh dear, that humor in her face turned a little dark there for a second.
And then it's right back, and she waves to Haru and to Maya. "Good afternoon! I assume you're all out here for the sun and surf and the booze and the catladies, yes yes?"
Marrik Marrik raised a bottle to salute Psalm before taking a drink., "Hey life is short, best to live while its there." And yet Leyanne drew his eye more than the cats, or even Maya. "Don't even mind if O don't make much. View's nice and nice change of pace." Then an idea hit him thanks to broadband. "Anyone know if the crabs here are edible? Could definately go for a sandwich."
Haru     Haru looks up as he hears his name, and nods to Maya. "Hi there. How are you doing?" he asks. Shirou's answer to his question gets a nod too. "If you're sure. You looked a little freaked out." Psalm's question gets a bit of a sheepish look from Haru. It's true, one of the reasons he came here was because catgirls. But he isn't QUITE honest enough to admit it. "Uh... sun and surf yes. But I don't drink." He doesn't mention the catgirls at ALL. He does, however add, "And for bending practice. Sifu Toph is teaching me how to sandbend. It's harder than normal earthbending, because the sand's too loose."
Oresia "It's not like I have much choice in the matter..." Oresia really doesn't. Everything she has is owned by her family after all. "I was already forced to run away once, I'm not going to do it again." She doesn't intend to back down from her duties even if she doesn't care for all of them.
Emiya Shirou     Shirou blinks as he's hip-bumped, tensing up a bit. He caught the dark hint. It sends a shiver down his spine. For a few brief instants he feels like he should not forget that look. Never. But.

He can't stay tense with so much merrymaking around him, can he?

"Hrrrrmngh." Is his reply to Psalm. The boy's troubled, and now she's got him thinking in circles over how she knows him.

This is nuts. He sets the drink down on one of Marrik's tables, after noticing he's even got it, and...

"So, you said something about things you wanted to show me?" Tries to change the subject. Because that is why Marrik invited him out here!
Alexis Alexis sits up to reach over and pat Oresia on the shoulder. "As long as you get a chance to yourself like this every so often, it can't be all bad right?"
Marrik Marrik nodded to Shirou and gestured to the wall of weapons. All are well crafted, but none are legends even if they have magic in their making. "Figured you might could find something you like." Bronze swords, iron spears, steel and several that were carved with dull glowing runes. "Which one speaks clearest to you?"
Psalm     Ooooh! More interesting people! Maggie winks at Shirou, before sauntering over towards Haru, plucking a wide brimmed straw hat from... somewhere. "Sandbending and Sifu Toph. That means you're a bender, and.... Hmmm." She taps her lips. "I'm not sure I know any other benders besides Toph." A nod, and she holds out her hand, the silvery gold-ish dragon tattoo on her arm pointed at Haru as well. "Maggie Songsteel. Nice to meet you too."
Oresia "I guess, still I wish I didn't stand out so much sometimes." Oresia figures that would make her life less akward. "I mean humans are common in most places, Pokemorphs not so much."
Haru     Haru nods to Psalm's observation. "That's right," he confirms. He's dressed all in shades of green and brown, and the part of his hair that's been pulled up into a topknot has the customary Earth Kingdom green ring to hold it in place, too. That is, if the Bard is familiar with Earth Kingdom fashion. Which she may or may not be.

"We're both earthbenders," he says, speaking of Toph. "Though she's probably the greatest to ever live." He definitely buys into Toph's 'Greatest Earthbender Ever' claim. After all, who can /bend metal/?! No one but Toph, that Haru knows of. The hand is extended, and he accepts it in a handshake. No hand-kissing here. "Pleased to meet you, Miss Songsteel," he offers with a pleasant smile.
Xau'ra Tayuun The giant crabs are moved to a part of the beach and those interested in riding them are called out and its announced as well by the Miqo'te girls who work here. They even put on a little dance for it.

As for Xau'ra...

He has gone off to the other side of the beach more up north, round the rocky hill really that seperates out the area. As he gets down low he stares off out across the beach there, trying to see if the Garlean military has moved any this way.

What he does find is some garleans alright, but they are out in swim trunks a few of the females in some swim suits with shorts over the bottoms and a group playing some kinda game dealing with a white glowing orb and trying to hook some kinda rings to it, which it moves at times as they try too.

Including overhearing a conversation that causes him to just face-palm. "Sure is hard being out here huh?"

"No kidding. Though if my wife knew.."

"Who says she ever has to know!"

Yep... welcome to Costa Del Sol...

Xau'ra then moves himself away from the Garlean play area they have made for themselves and starts to make his way back only to come face to face with a really-- big-- creature that looks like a cross between a buffalo and a ram. He gives it a nervous smile and then a wave of the hand.

The next thing the main group back at the actual resort may see is Xau'ra running along the upper hill being chased by this fifteen feet tall monstrosity.
Alexis Alexis pfffs. "You don't stick out as much as you think." She gives a general handwave across the beach. "Just look at all the other weird people that make up the Multiverse." "Furfrou." <That was uncalled for.> "I wasn't calling -her- weird."

And then Xau'ra gets chased across the beach by a thing that could easily pass for a pokemon if you didn't know better. Alexis actually sits up again and raises her sunglasses as both her other pokemon look up from their playing. "... You think he needs help with that or can he handle it?"
Psalm     Miss Songsteel's grip is strong in return. This is a lady who isn't afraid of a sword, that's for sure. She smiles warmly at Haru in that handshake, before murmuring. "Curiouser and curiouser. It is a very real pleasure meeting you, Haru." There's a look in those green eyes a look of information being filed away. And then she's right back to that lazy, happy smile. "Drinks! Drinks I need a fancy drink with the umbrella in it!" She squeezes the bender's hand one last time, before clapping Shirou on the back. "Right, you've got a drink, ah, where... where are the ladycats with the drinks!"

She lifts up a hand and waves at the nearest Miq in a dancer's outfit. "Hello! I am in dire need of a mimosa, thank you!" Mimosas have fruit in them, they are healthy.
Haru     It's worthy of noting that Haru's handshake is fairly firm too. Earthbender and all, he has to be stubborn. Haru blinks his own green eyes at Psalm's odd expression. He may or may not recognize it for what it is, but it's certainly odd. If he caught any attempt of hers to do anything, he doesn't make any mention of it. Then suddenly Xau'ra's being chased around by... something. Haru blinks. "...What is THAT?" He doesn't immediately head over in that direction, but he looks like he's about to.
Marrik Xau'ra's pannick run from wildlife got Marrik's attention, enough that he does his same 'pull thing from nowhere' trick to shrug on his coat and step into a pair of boots. "I'm thinking we should go help, you?" A rope was pulled from one of the coat's pockets. "Anyone here work with cattle before?"
Leyanne Mace Leyanne Mace blinks and looks over at Xau'ra being chased by the buffalo-creature, tilting her head. Her hand drops to her revolver, but then she blinks - realising that she's unarmed. She looks over at the rope, then shakes her head. "No, but I know the principles and I think I'm probably strong enough to pull it down. I could always punch it in the face and see if it falls over instead..."
Emiya Shirou     "oh...." Shirou's gaze hits the array of weapons. All kinds of finely made things. He can feel magic from a few, if only barely. And that's an amazing feat, because Maya over there has even his crappy senses going haywire. Like the Servants, but not quite.... yeah, Maya, unlike them, isn't a spirit.

"The knives, for some reason. Hrm... if they were a little longer..." He eventually declares, and goes on to mutter. What is it about the paired weapons that make him feel a little more comfortable? They do fit his physique better, he's more manueverable with them...But.

That line of thought's cut off quickly.

With a choked gasp, Shirou's attention is drawn by the distant Miqo'te's plight. It's not like he wanted to look that way, it just sort of happened. Why...

Why is nobody else reacting to this problem? Does nobody else on the beach see it?!

"Crap! It's bad, Xau needs some help!" But how's he supposed to help? Oh well.

Scrambling out of Marrik's stall and blazing past the others, Shirou breaks into an all-out dash. He's surprisingly quick, thanks to all the training he does!
Oresia "I guess." Maybe Oresia's isn't such an oddity in the Multiverse as she looks around to see who else is present. It seems to be a popular hangout spot for feline humanoids. It's hard to miss Xau'ra get chased across the beach by the giant creature. She wonders what he did to provoke it. "I suppose we should." She wonder if roots would be able to bring down?
Noble Six Having been near the giant crabs, Noble Six frowns when Xau comes running over the hill being chased by a giant monster. She glances to Leyanne, and then back to the crabs, "I have an idea. C'mon." She moves back up and jumps onto one of the crabs, motioning for Leyanne to jump onto the other one. Once the Martian Mouse is mounted up, Six spurs her crab onwards and tries to take it towards the charging creature.

Six maneuvers her crab off to one side of the charging beast, using hand signals to try to get Leyanne to move to the other side of it, once she's in position, Six will toss a rope over to her, keeping it tight between them. High enough that Xau will only need to duck under it.
Leyanne Mace Leyanne Mace takes a glance at six and shrugs, leaping up onto the other crab and getting it moving. "Yeeeehaw!" She shouts, glancing between Six and Xau'ra to co-ordinate. She watches, catching the rope and pulling it taught. It's wrapped around her cybernetic hand a couple of times and she grins, knowing that the Spartan can cope with her strength.
"Let's do this!"
Xau'ra Tayuun Xau'ra Tayuun may indeed need help. He leaps over a rock and the massive creature just runs right over it. Xau'ra then uses a tree to make a tight turn right back around, and the massive creature slides across the ground before thundering after the male Miqo'te once more.

As Emiya moves in he can feel the ground rocking under the massive creatures feet. The ground seeming to shake under the sheer size and weight of the creature.

Xau'ra curses under his breath as he runs, "Territorial.. beast.. I wasn't even.." He then tries to break a run for the white sands, hoping maybe the creature might slow down cause of softer sand compared to the grassy ground, but-- it doesn't seem to be the case!

Yet he can see what Noble Six and Leyanne are planning, and he quickly races right for the rope. The beast right on his tail. He quickly slides down and goes to slide under the rope, before rolling back up to his feet to keep running a bit.

The Beast does head butt right into the rope. Its hooves slam hard into the ground as its momentum is cut short and it then attempts to tangle its horns into the rope to lift up whatever is trying to hold it back. The Giant Crabs though are thankfully very calm, so its all up to the ladies brute strength right now.. or perhaps a group effort to settle down the large beast.

When Xau'ra does get back to his feet he calls over to the two, "Try to not hurt him! I think he was protecting his herd!"
Haru     Shirou's starting to head in that direction gets Haru moving. He can't do much with the sand, but he can make it wave like water underneath himself. Not with crane stance, though. Toph would get onto him if she saw him do that. More to the 'tiger' side of 'crane and tiger' this time. He slams his heel into the sand, creating a small rippling wave, and then a sweeping motion of his arms makes the wave bigger. The wave dips down, seeming to pick him up, and carry him in the direction Xau'ra is in.

Unfortunately the momentum is lost pretty quickly, and the wave dumps Haru rather unceremoniously onto his rear end when it's spent. But HEY, he covered that distance faster than he'd have done if he'd run it! Hopefully there will be more stable earth for him to bend once he reaches Xau'ra. Otherwise all he's going to be able to do is throw sand in the beast's face to blind it!

Though as Xau'ra calls out, he gets an idea. He's not great at precision-bending, but he can at least do this-- as the beast starts trying to lift the things that are attached to the rope (that would be Leyanne and Noble Six, most likely), Haru slams his foot into the sand again, and with a sweeping motion of his arms, amplifies and sends the resultant wave at the area around the thing's feet. What's he doing? Destabilizing the sand! Hopefully that will make the creature's legs sink in too far for it to get loose and attack anyone until it wears itself out.
Emiya Shirou     Don't hurt it, he says.

Great, so how WILL they subdue the thing, drag it back where it belongs, and not have to worry about getting GORED?

"Hgngh..." The request does bring Shirou grinding to a halt. So does seeing the bull-like beast stymied, even if momentarily. If this was animal control, they'd have tranquilized the beast or... something....

    That gives him an idea.

"MAYA!" Thankfully, he knows her name. He knows only that, though, and what's on her file that he could read. "Do you know any kind of spells to knock it out?! Does anyone?!"

Because if he approaches, he'll get gored or kicked or crushed.

If the bull turns around, he should at least be ready to deflect it.

    "Trace, on!"

People are watching here. That bard who gave him the willies sure is. But it can't really be helped. He focuses his mind, recreates the blade of Japanese legend from beginningg to end, and--

With a flash of golden light from his palms, KUSANAGI NO TSURUGI appears in all its fabled glory. The weapon exudes tremendous power beyond everything Shirou himself gives off - leagues beyond the meager shreds of prana used to make it. That's bogus. Magic works off of equivalent exchange almost everywhere. You can't take 5 MP and create something worth 500 MP.

But that's basically what just happened.

"At the very least we have to tie it up... more rope to bind the legs!"
Noble Six Don't hurt the beast? Okay. Six can do that. She rises up onto her crab, balancing on the saddle for a second, and then leaps off of it. She doesn't have her armor, but she still has enhanced strength and can use it to try to pull the beast down into the rapidly softening sand.

Hopefully Leyanne follows suit and they can get the beast tied down before it can get away again.
Alexis Alexis lets out a soft sigh. "I suppose you're right." She gets up from the towel and reachs for her bag. Hmm. She didn't bring anyone with Sleep or such. Crap. Changing her mind she rolls over and gives the poodle a nudge with her foot. "Go'on, make yourself useful."
"Furfrou?!" <Moi!?> The dog manages to sound quite agast. <I am not one of your hooligan brutes for fighting whenever you please!>
"Fighting my ass. Go do your -thing-, puffball."
<... Ooooh.> With a huff the poodle-mon gets onto her feet. <I suppose, before it ruins this otherwise peaceful day otherwise.> Holding her head up high Furfrou marchs out across the beach, until she comes to a stop in front of the beast struggling with the rope. <I dare say you, stop this nonsense right this instance! Calm down before you hurt someone important.>

Despite her snippish remarks the dog-mon's eyes start to glow in an eerie manner as she uses Baby-Doll Eyes to reduce it's fighting strength. That'll make it easier to tie down, right?
Marrik Marrik took a deep breath to consider what he could do. Life drain til it got too weak to fight? No, something actually threatening could show up. As he ran he grumbled sourly. Quick grow plants around it? Eeh maybe. Beats punching it in the snout, looked like the only kind of hit would notice is if it actually got hurt. He was not a happy mage, but het at least he could run well enough to catch up right?

So he waved his arms while whistling. "Hey! Over here jumbo!" Man where did he hear that from? "Hey over here, moo cow! Get your stupid hide over here!" Hey bison thing too distracted by things on all sides might not be able to focus on anyone right?
Oresia Oresia stands and uproots herself moving herself closer to the creature, thankfully she has several ways of disabling it without causing too much harm to it in the process. Green powder starts to spray upwards from the flower on top of her head. She does her best to try and aim it at the monster without putting anyone else to sleep in the process. Still, it's not a Pokemon and rather large so she has no idea how much of an effect it will have.
Leyanne Mace Leyanne Mace gives Six a nod and leaps off too, pushing against the rope to get some extra leverage - and swing herself around behind the bison-thing. She sprints towards Six, keeping the rope taught! "Wrap the legs!" She shouts to Six, leaping over her rope and swinging around in front of the creature. "Go around behind it!"
Xau'ra Tayuun The sand softens under the legs of the mighty beast as it then sinks down a bit ad struggles more as it realizes that its sinking. It lashes its head side to side even as Noble Six and Leyanne keep it in place.

When the poodle pokemon comes over and stares the beast down and pulls upon its power to weaken the massive creature, it is quiet (super) effective, and the beast suddenly has less fight in him. He still struggles and makes out a loud groaning cry as it huffs a few times and tries to pull backwards, only to find itself nearly tripping over itself cause of its foot being stuck.

When Marrik calls out to it, it slams its hoof into the shifting sand, which causes the area to shake, this startles the crabs a bit, but they stay steady and only slam their wrapped up pincers into the ground. The massive beast's hoof then almost dips into the sand and it lets out another cry in frustration.

When Leyanne then tries to go behind it, the massive creature tries to put up a bit more of a fight, though if Noble Six fallows suit, things will get more difficult. Including when Oresia steps in and then uses the powder to start to cause it to feel drowsy. It sways a bit and starts to stagger.

Soon the mighty beast is at last brought down as it grows just to tired and worn down to keep fighting. If Leyanne and Noble do in fact wrap up the legs, it will help topple the might beast down. It struggles a bit more, but eventually just gives up and lays there.

Xau'ra during this has been catching his breath and goes to stand up. He walks carefully over to the giant beast before he goes to place his hand gently along side its head running his fingers through its mane. "I think once it calms down and comes too, it will run back to his herd." Xau'ra shakes his head. "If I knew that herd had young, I would have picked another path to walk.."

Xau'ra then turns to look at everyone and gives them a smile. "Thanks-- all of you. I owe you lot some drinks or something."
Alexis Furfrou sits and buffs a forepaw against her chest fluff. "Furfrou." <You can bask me in your thanks and admiration at your leasure.>
"Stop being a stuck-up, puffball." Alexis just shakes her head and goes back to relaxing.
Haru     "Are you all right?" That's really Haru's only concern. He looks at the beast. "...What is this?" For perspective, his world has PIG CHICKENS, which are exactly what they sound like. And yet he seems quite taken aback by the creature they've just subdued.
Maya Maya was just a bit taken aback for a secon something had come in over Codex which had been enough to distract her for a moment. With that wrapped up she's getting into aciton however it seems like it's not going to be an issue anymore she takes her card and pockets back in the small leather case she's wearing about her left arm.

"I was not expecting that."
Marrik Marrik grunted as he picked himself back up and dusted himself off. "Everything fights harder when it's their home." He gently placed a hand on the beast to try getting a feel for what, if any, hurts it had. Not it's fault since it's just a dumb animal. "Hey I'll finish up meet you back at the tent?" He grinned before adding, "Wat kind of beach food do you guys have here? Figure since there's so many of us out why not right?"
Emiya Shirou     Neither was Shirou expecting that. The bull goes down and is tied up. Phew. Well, he ponders reinforcing the bindings, but that has a chance of backfiring, so no. "When did I start thinking of using magic for everything.... if a little rope isn't enough, use more." Stupid. That was a stupid thougght.

With another flash of golden light, Kusanagi disappears, as it isn't needed.

"I didn't do anything useful." He counters Xau, modestly. "But I'm glad you didn't get hurt."
Leyanne Mace Leyanne Mace gives Six a fistbump and grins, returning to her beer. "THat was cool." She agrees, grinning at the Spartan.
Oresia "It's no problem..." Oresia doesn't try to draw too much more attention to herself and goes back to relaxing as well. Thankfully, no one ended up being trampled.
Xau'ra Tayuun Xau'ra looks over to Haru and gives a nod of his head, "Aye, I am fine. Probably would have been another story if you lot were not around though. They tend to be extremely territorial.. but they don't normally give that long of a chase." He frowns a little.

"Makes me wonder if those Garleans may have been hunting them and causing them to be a bit more aggressive on the pursuit." The male Miqo'te removes his hand from the side of the beast's face, "As for what he is-- he is a Buffalo." He looks at the others who remain about the beast.

"Probably keep him tied up for a few more moments and then give him a good pop on the rump, that will get him moving back to his herd." Xau'ra gives a nod of his head. "..and I'll be fine with just staying here with him and doing that very thing."

Xau'ra then crouches down and looks to Marrik and nods his head over to the open bar, "They have all types of sandwiches, mostly the seafood sort and other types of assorted finger foods."

He does look over to Noble Six and points to her, "Also, you and I, still need to have that talk, but," He goes to stand up, "Probably not whilst everyone is having fun. No reason to speak about the Black Wolf under such circumstances, but I /do/ believe you and your people may give him and the Empire a good run for their money. Given I've seen that suit you have-- and it almost seems equal match to what the Garleans wear."

Xau'ra then chuckles, "I'd love to see their bloody damnable faces though when you do go after them."
Noble Six "You can get me back later." Six says, as she dusts her hands off. Now that the beast is subdued, she'll have to see about getting back to that beer, "Leyanne, I guess we'll have to put off our crab race until later."

Her attention comes back to Xau, and she nods her head, "I won't go off half-cocked. If I do this, I'll bring in you and anyone else you want to bring. This is your homeworld, I won't operate in it without sticking to any rules or guidelines I need to follow."
Psalm     Magatha Songsteel has been over at one of the little tents, patiently explaining to a Miq that, yes, she wants the OJ poured into the sparkling wine, and yes that is not an awful thing to do to fine wine.

Apparently one of the vinters is mad at her for sullying things. They are having a row.
Marrik Marrik found nothing wrong with this buffalo and nodded. "Bit bigger than the cattle back home." Not to mention more aggressive. A grin to Leyanne and Noble, "Nice ropework." Something he couldn't have managed. As he took the rope back and coiled it he looked over to Shirou, "Hey you went charging in when a friend needed you. Don't feel bad you weren't needed," pause, "Though reaching for a sword when it's just a loose animal is a bit one track minded. Ah well."
Emiya Shirou     "If that thing turned around in a panic it might've trampled over me, you, and anyone on the beach. I thought I could at least hold the charge back!" Shirou replies Marrik's way.

Apparently, SHirou never intended to use the sword for anything stabby?! Then what was he going to do...
Marrik "Nice thinking but territoryial bulls, least the ones back home, don't care what you're holding most times." Marrik shrugged as he started walking. "Want a sandwich?"
Xau'ra Tayuun The male Miqo'te rests his chin in his hand for a moment in thought. His tail moves side to side idly as he listens to Noble. "It be best if I don't come along, truth be told. I'd only slow down an operation.. not only that but most of us Eorzeans can not even grasp how their technology works. Given they use.. devices that require button number pushes and other types of mechanisms that none of us have ever seen."

Xau'ra frowns a bit in further thought, "I know that is partly why the Alliance sided with the Union. The Union has the fire power to not only stand against the Garleans allies, the Confederacy, but also can bring to bare some things to make the playing field a bit more level." He waves his hand off to the side. "And we /would/ maybe learn how the Garleans tech works, but from what I understand-- they have their equipment and gear set to pretty much destroy itself, making it nigh impossible to research."

The male Miqo'te then snorts, "..and the one person in Limsa Lominsa who understood it all, is now bloody missing. Cid Garlond." He then shakes his head. "No one knows what happened to him after Bahamut laid into the lands and upon the forces. Some speculate he may have been killed-- others believe he may have been captured. None no."

Xau'ra walks over to Shirou and pats him on the shoulder, "You did a great job! I think you actually may have slowed it down when you came running up at it, so you did some good." He flashes him a friendly smile before he throws his hands up in the air, "Now then! All of you lot get back to having a grand ol' time! I'll see about ordering some food and drinks from the open bar for all!"
Leyanne Mace Leyanne Mace nods to Six and saunters over to Marrik with Six. "I agree totally. And I'd like to come with you. I can help - and I've got similar training to her support."
Haru     "As long as you're okay," Haru replies to Xau'ra. He'll head back in the direction of the beach then. He's got some sandbending to practice! Maybe if he gets the hang of it, the next time he tries that, he won't drop himself on his posterior.
Marrik Marrik looked over at Haru and hrmed thoughtfully. Where had he seen that face before? "Hey, whatcha doin?"
Emiya Shirou     "No, but I can't turn away those horns with my hands!" Shirou counters, as if this is obvious. He shrugs a little. Oh well, whatever. it's over now, and so he ends up listening to the Miqo'te's explanations instead. And getting clapped on the shoulder. "Heh. Maybe." He's not gonna give up on that modesty at least.
Haru     "Huh?" Haru pauses, looking to Marrik. "Sifu Toph has been teaching me how to sandbend, so I came to practice." Looking back at where the buffalo had been, "That was actually pretty good practice, even if I ended up falling on my behind." Making a wave of sand is harder than it looks.
Marrik Marrik mmed softly. "Mind if I watch? I can understand if you do better without an audiance but a lot of my magic works off of movement as a focus. Figure if nothing else watching the process might help me recognize it later." He sounded happy, upbeat. Things were going well after all. Might as well be happy right?
Haru     Haru nods. "Sure, if you want to," he agrees. "I don't think bending is really magic, but you'll probably recognize it if you see it." It's closer to martial arts, as Marrik would find. Haru takes his stance, a very stable one. Pauses. Concentrates. It looks like he's waiting for something. And then he starts to move. Strong stances, powerful movements. Looks like Hung Gar, from earth, oddly enough.
