Theurgus     The System, a bustling place reminiscent of the inside of a computer. A novel thing for a being from a world with little advanced technology. The directions provided lead from the Cable Rail station that joins the System to the local Warpgate, to one of the System Bus terminals that ring the Hub itself. The ride on the cable-car is short, and the vehicle emerges from the tunnel into a vast skyscape dotted with floating islands. The central island, sporting a large city, and the main building of the Cathoderal, is visible from the station. Two programs, looking very much like humans, wearing uniforms with armour built in, meet the wraith at the terminal, "We were informed of your arrival, we are to escort you to the Cathoderal to meet with Lady Charta." says one, gesturing to an airship moored nearby.
Raziel     Raziel would appear in this world, as the black boxes of cutscene would appear for the player..

'Breathtaking views as I took the strange cable transports from one building to the next, as if being lead to my destination by force. Different sizes of floating cities seemingly floating above the clouds, as a strange world awaited me. This...almost seems reminiscant of what the Anchient's mountain citidel's may have looked like, before they fell into ruin due to time and veracious vampire hunters. The scene was breathtaking, and without the sense of forboading that I normally am presented with as I had traveresed the Anchient's ruins.'

Raziel is greeted by the two 'programs'. Nothing to assume that they were not anything but humans, as they stated their function, he needed. The Desicated man speaks calmly, "Very well, I am in your hands." he says, greeting with warm, but chivalrous greeting. He would walk, allowing himself to be guided by them to Charta.
Theurgus     The LDF troopers nod, then turn to the airship. One moves into the pilot station, while the other sits nearer to the aft of the craft, waiting for Raziel to sit in the passenger compartment before closing the doors and powering the air drive. Not like some contraption of steam and lighter-than-air gas, the airship ride is smooth, the vehicle powered by crystals suspended above the cabin.

The trip is short, the view out of the windows in the cabin rather impressive, as the ship approaches the large central building with the energy pillar shooting up into the skybox, seeming to pierce up through the bottom of the island from the vastness of the Base Code below.

The Airship docks at a balcony, and allow the Wraith out as one of the officers moves to open the door into the Cathoderal. "Lady Charta awaits in the atrium, directly across from this door."
Raziel     The air trip was nestalgic. He reembered, even briefly, that he could fly once. Still, even without wings, he still longed for it. He closed his eyes, letting himself pretend to feel the air for just a brief moment, before they arrived. Rising up, Raziel turned to face his escorts, "Thank you for your hospitality," he offers, before leaving.

    As the door opened...

'As the large doors opened, I was given direction towards the woman I was to meet here. It was refershing, to remember that there are those who overcame the limitation of not having wings to fly. I too, was all too reminded at what ws taken from me, by that degenerate Kain. Still...it was not for that mistake of Kain's that I was brought here, but for his other one.'

Walking into the Cathoderal, he took the advice, walking directly towards the door across from this one, and knocked approprately. Assuming he even had to do so.
Theurgus     The door opens as the wraith knocks, and within the atrium, a large, open space within the great building, floats the little fairy seated on her book. She smiles as she sees the form of the Wraith, seemingly unaffected by the ghastly visage. "Ser Raziel, welcome, I am glad you could come. Was your trip uneventful?" she asks, gesturing to a table set up with refreshments, though they seem to be an afterthought, since Charta was unaware if Raziel could even eat normal items.

The room itself is a picture of grandeur, the pillar of energy that seems to bisect the island pulses behind a thick glass-like screen, the eerie glow adding to the light coming in from the open roof. There are crystals spaced around the perimeter, each one seeming to phase through different colours as they sit there, in sync with the pillar of energy.
Raziel     'The room itself was grand. Perhaps, not the grandest thing by the standards of those who had built it, or even those that live in it. By those, even the largest of Kain's castles were deemed tiny, though not for their own hard work, but rather for the lacking of knowledges to make this place like this. I had no doubt that Kain's vanity would possibly seek him to send artisans here to learn, to conqure it in his vanity, or to destroy it should his vanity be offended.'

"The trip was calm, worry not. It was a...very beautiful view the whole way through, and there is much grandour in this place. It weaves modern complexities, with simplistic designs of old. I dare say our artisans from my world would spend many a year where watching and learning." he say, and waves a clawed hand at the food, "Trouble not for my sake, my diet...baring certain oddities in rare ingredients of divine or infernal nature, can not stomach such pallets."

"I am, as my 'benefactor' called me a 'Reaper of Souls'. This is...quite litterally. I do not consume them completely, but it appears that I simply speed the process along of what naturally happens in any world I am in."
Theurgus     "I have heard you speak of that being before... the giant creature living beneath the world?" asks Charta, as she picks up a cup and sips from it idly. "I had assumed you were unable, but hospitality demands its due." she adds, tilting her head to one side. "However, if architecture is of use to your world, I might suggest you visit the Onyx Drive. Vector is the City of Architects, and Struo is a meister in designing structures in almost any style imaginable... Locus is a product of the data stored within our Drive, not the directed whimsy of a program constructing it from scratch."
Raziel     "Data...? Oh, information. This is still a new phenomina to me, and I do not completely understand it," he mentions about Data being stored. However, "I might have to go do that, if nothing else than for my own curiosity. The lessons there may end up helping me in my own goals eventually, and it never hurts to know more things than you did once." he says, calmly...Raziel if anything, is well spoken.

"Yes...him. I do not like it mostly because I fear it is trying to use me in some way, and the signs of it's duplicity are apparent, but only with the passage of time." At the sound of hospitality, "I appreciate it...and do not feel the need to satisfy any of my hungers. At worse, it just means I can not maintain a physical form."

"You wished to talk more about my blade, though, correct?'
Theurgus     "Data, in our case, is just another form of writing in a book. However the book is what you are standing in, and the words are the things and people you see around you." Charta says, "It can be rather jarring if one is unused to it."

"Indeed, I did wish to know what powers it, other than the nebulous 'soul'. As I indicated, I am unable to tell what it is, only that is is magical in nature, and it is... 'hungry' for lack of a better vernacular."
Raziel     Raziel holds a hand out, both indicating to stand back, but also to call the blade to life. It infact, takes the shape of a wraith blade...long and ghostly. The blade part wavers back and forth like flamberage, and the hilt seems to have a skill motif to it. The handle...itself is Raziel's arm.

"It is the ghostly form of the Reaver, a blade once held by both my Vampiric Father...and my murderer. When I came to inhabit the form you see now, I saught to take revenge...though I was not yet ready to face him. During the battle, he broke the sword on me, and it's 'soul' or perhaps the mad spirit of the blade waited for me on the Spirit world. I took it, as a means to take my revenge...and as I am all too far aware of...it is now perminately apart of myself." The blade disappears.

"I can channel various elements native to Nosgoth, my home world, through it. Fire, Earth, Wind, Water, Light, and Dark. It can, as I do, eat the souls of my enemies, and provides a way to kill things that do not know death. Infact, that was the very purpse I was given existance when I died...to kill those who do not die and return their stagnant souls to my so called 'master'."

"..And with anything I must be careful of this power, or the Reaver will turn itself on me. The elements also augment my telekinetic abilities. Though in minor, but useful, ways."
Theurgus     "I am familiar with many of those elements." remarks Charta, having floated back a foot or two when the blade is summoned. She then gestures motes of light floating out of the crystals around the room to hang around her. "There are similar elements within The System. Locus is a crux for all of them, though the other Drives embody one or two." she explains, then indicates each mote. A redish orange is named 'Flame'. A blue-white is named 'Ice'. A greenish-yellow is named Wind, a yellow-white is called 'Lightning' a pure white is named 'Divine' and a mote that seems to suck in light rather than emit it is called 'Chaos'. "These are the six elements of The System."

he bookfairy releases the motes, then floats closer to Raziel. "Going back to your weapon, you said it 'waited for you', is it sapient, then?"
Raziel     "Yes, but not quite for that reason. When I slipped into the spectral realm, it was as if a sword was impaled in the ground infront of me. As IF waiting...then again, I guess it could have been actually waiting." He says, with a shrug.

"But yes...the blade is ravenous, and...mad. I can feel from it the derranged sense of another entity...but remains calm unless overstimulated. It really only became like this when I touched the physical reaver when I first came to the past, and met the broken Soul Reaver there. It used it's power to repair the broken blade, nearly draining my soul in the process."

"In return...it became voracious, and the other entity became more clear to me, more active in our partnership. It turned from a Symbionic relationship, to a parasitic one. "
Theurgus     "Facinating... I am certain Lady Diamond Soul will be enthralled to learn the details of this... knowledge, especially mystic, arcane and eldritch, is of particular value to our Drive Core Controller." replies Charta, then frowns a bit. "Time travel? Perhaps that has some bearing on the properties of the weapon you knew before your... death?" she surmizes. "Merely supposition and speculation on my part."
Raziel     "Nay...the blade was normal after I left the streaming device...it only became this way directly after touching the reaver...though there was a weird sense of vertigo after touching it. I know not why, but that it was."
Theurgus     Charta nods. "Something to think on. Theorize about." muses Charta, then she perks up. "You have been very candid, and I thank you for that. Is there anything you wish to ask me about?"
Raziel     "I feel very little need to not be candid with my allies. Especially with that hiding information may be more self destructive than anything. There is little in what I said that can hurt me anyway. That, and those who fight at my side have the right to know what weapons I possess, and their dangers."

With that, he seems to think for a moment. "Do...you happen to know much about the potential to change one's fate or destiny?"
Theurgus     "If you are asking if there exists magic or skill to alter causality, then yes. If you were to ask Lady Diamond Soul, she would rant long into the next petacycle about how fate and destiny are intertwined with the breathing of the world..." she says this with the long suffering tone of someone who has suffered such before. "My own belief is that fate is what you make for yourself. Only you can break the percieved cycle." she sighs. "Unhelpful, I know, but I have little to offer other than words of encouragement."
Raziel     "Maybe on your world...but on mine all people are shackled to something called the Wheel of fate. It seems my destiny is writen in stone...so I look to try and avoid this fate as best that I can, or at least know what it is more firmly."
Theurgus     Charta shakes her head sadly. "I am unable to assist in this... at least at this present time. Perhaps after some time to properly assign runtime to the problem I could come up with something, however I would likely need additional information on what this 'Wheel of Fate' entails, what powers it and the like." the fairy taps her cheek with a finger, eyes closed.
Raziel     "Do not trouble yourself, I did not expect much...though having allies out here in the Multiverse would make gathering knowledge at home more interesting."
Theurgus     "It is not a bother. I relish the chance to stretched my processes. I may be old, but Lady Diamond Soul would not be anywhere without me." replies Charta, smiling brightly. "Stay here for as long as you like, the LDF have been given standing orders to assist any off-world visitors to the best of their abilities."
Raziel     "I shall take you up on that offer then. I thank you for your and your mistress' hospitality." Raziel says, with the manners of one might suspect out of someone from a court. "Knowledge is something ineed precious, and I will need a lot more of it if I am to avoid the fate assigned to me...and the fate that awaits my home."
