Deelel Deelel had been having fun with the tournament so far the matches she'd seen had been great, the one she'd been in had been a lot of fun too. Today she was up against another old comrade from the multiversal war. Alexis and her small army of strange and interesting pokemon friends.

She was clad in her normal seamless clothing with a big old grin on her face as she trotted out into the arena. She'll play to the crowd a bit and takes notes a few friends from the Resistance are there in the stands having a grand old time.

Deelel has several hover constructs following after her not weapons but clearly musical equipment and she's still grinning.

"Been a while, Alexis, good to see you lets see how your game is?"

Deelel's voice has that digital warble that marks all programs from her homeworld and she's not even trying to hide it today she has a pulled her ID disc off her back and stands ready.

"Let's give them a show."
Alexis Alexis strides out onto the arena with her usual calm before the storm. Clearly that she was down in the wins department didn't bother the tomboy trainer much. Since she had entered more for the competing in itself and the challenge of getting to square off against people she usually didn't have to battle, that was pretty accurate.

Though one more win wouldn't hurt. "Oh, don't wory. That's what we're here for." Then in a change from the norm she turns to shout back the way she came. "It's time, Breakbeat. Hit the pavement!" Instead of throwing pokeballs and what not, the pokemon just comes dashing into the arena on his own.

It's a bit peculiar to describe. He stands only about four feet in height, yet his running stride is with all the confidence and determination of someone twice that size. His orange form is humanoid, with blue banding down his belly like you see reptiles denoted with usually, but the lighter tan hide that's rumpled loosely around his shoulders and legs make it almost look like the 'baggy clothes' and hoodie you see street kids wear, with a lumpy lizard tail waggling behind.

He darts past Alexis before he stops, only do do an elaborate spin move that looks more like a dance step than anything, weaving back and forth before finally stopping again with a stomp of one foot to the ground, and snapping his hand back over the ridge on his head that looks like a punk's mohawk. "Scraf-ty!"

After the little display Alexis takes a few steps back and nods. "You know anything about breakdancing, Deelel?" Breakbeat just holds out one hand and wiggles his digits in the typical 'Bring it' gesture, even as he's still bobbing his head a bit like there's some unheard song in his head.
Deelel Deelel looks Alexis over for a moment and has to look up a bit as well Alexis is taller than she is she'll pause as a new pokemon appear she doesn't know this one and takes a look at the humanoid creature. This one is new and she's trying to size it up taking a guess at its elemental leaning and the like she also humms for a moment

"They look like they might like some of my music."

Speaking of said music the hard light speaks start playing a fairly heavy paced techno song.

"One of the Twins work, the only programs I'd say who are better than I!"

She powers up her disc for a moment.

"I have some idea it's a rather physical user dance style."

She notes and she's moving to the side, wait she's throwing the disc not at Alexis or at the pokemon? odd well the answer comes quickly as it rebounds off the arena wall and comes for the pokemon from behind.

"Let's see your Game then!"

She notes to the pokemon as she keeps going flipping to catch the disc on the fly back.
Alexis Alexis smirks at the mention of music and Deelel starting to play something with a beat. She's been trying to match her choices to her opponents, at least the ones she knew reasonably well, because that's how Trainers work.

"Good choice. Show her your moves, boy. Dragon Dance!" The Scrafty is already getting into it, bobbing his head and rocking with the motion, to where he's visibly starting to move faster and with more ethusiasm.

The disc is flung off to the side. "Look out, that thing is like a Bonemera--" Alexis stops as Breakbeat leans back into a nearly perfect limbo move and the spinning projectile buzzes right past him on it's way returning to Deelel. "--Yeah. Like that. Alright. Let 'er rip!"

Breakbeat darts forward and goes into another spinning move, his Dark type giving him a shadowy essense as he does so, whirling off to one side, then the other, then back and so fast that he's hard to follow.

Until he finally jumps out of the spin BEHIND Deelel to throw his shoulder hopefully into her backside.
Deelel Deelel attack mises but it is not useless she's got some idea about what Breakbeat can do and she gets the idea keeping up close with him isn't a good idea at this point and she'll get on the move. She'll shift twisting as he comes in from behind on her. She'll still get clipped but not take a full hit also the mount housing for her disc gives her a bit of protection, which now helps out as she moves to counterattack she'll drop low and then pull something off her leg it's like a hockey puck and she'll lob it at the Pokemon before she'll backflip away. There's a beeping sound from it' and it's counting down, it's some sort of explosive nad it will shortly go off in a powerful burst of energy.

"Catch me if you can!"
Alexis Whoa. Deelel upped the game difficulty hard. Alexis clenches her fists. That just means they're going to have to do the same. "Look out, we don't know what that does!"

Breakbeat is putting on a show though. He turns sideways, grabs the shed skin around his shoulders with one hand and flicks it forward to catch the puck in the 'hood'. Another flick tosses it back out in the air in front of him, only to drop down and bounce off his knee. Then the Scrafty nimbly hops to the opposite foot and brings up that knee to bump it.

Wait... Is he using the timed explosive as a *hacky sack*?!

Sure enough, as he leans back to balance as he holds out his foot to catch it on his toes. Kicks it up over his head so it arcs behind him, then snaps the same leg back to kick it again with his heel and send flying high and far away to the limit of the arena before it finally explodes well out of harms reach.

Then he sways to one side, shifts his head to the other as if to crick anc crack his neck, and puts feet to the floor to launch himself towards Deelel. The little guy is fast, that's for sure, as he closes in. Only to go down on his knees, and twist off of them as he slides towards the Progam, get a pivot on his shoulder to swing one of his feet at Deelel's legs.
Deelel Is not playing about here she knows how long Alexis has fought and has no delusion that going easy on her and her pokemon is a good idea. It's a very bad one after all in her mind she's not broken out the keyblade or magic yet though. She might be planning something and the Pokemon is using the light charge as a hackie sack?

That's a new one to the Program,m she's really going to have to mix things up but the little guy is intent to get in up close with her and he does manage to catch Deelel sending her down with a cry, she twists back up and now has something else in hand it's her Keyblade. She'll keep her ID Disc in her off hand for the moment. Yet she's not making use of it but she does take a swipe at the pokemon with said Keyblade before she'll start to move past him, wait is she running? What's she up to now...?

That's a good question it looks like she's trying to get some distance from the Pokemon as she banishes her keyblade and pulls what looks like a baton of some sort out, it seems she's got a plan but needed some prep time for it.
Alexis The bboy spirit is strong with this Pokemon. The slick Scrafty slips into his next motion smoothly, continuing the spinning motion with his legs angled out and tail swinging with the centrifical force. Deelel's run-by swipe smacks against his legs and pushes enough to give her room to pass, though the windmilling maneuver prevents her from getting a solid blow against his body.

"I know I said put on a show, but I didn't mean show off," Alexis calls from the sidelines. Breakbeat twirls up into a brief handstand before finally flipping onto his feet and looking back to her for a moment with a sort of 'if you say so shrug'. Alexis points in the direction Deelel is running. "She's trying to keep her distance, that's not good for you!" Breakbeat nods, and pushes off into a dash.

Yet not towards her, but at an angle from her. What's he doing? He runs to the wall of the arena, jumps to plant a foot against the surface, and twists to actually run a few steps up and along the wall before pushing off to leap into the air to attack!

Well, it's less an agressive attack, and more he's trying to land on Deelel's back and hang on to be really annoying. Let's see her run away from that!
Deelel It seems the shoe is the on the other foot today with this fight as Alexis' new pokemon is just mopping the floor with her. It's going badly as she has the baton in hand she's making ready for her next trick she's got a few more left and she might pull it off but the attack that's coming is more than enough to do one hell of a number on her back she'll move to try and shake the Pokemon off to no avail but she has her plan.

The Baton activates wireframes form about her it's not a light cycle this time, it's a light jet, she'll bank and try to throw off the Pokemon as she does so as her machine rises above the arena and if that works? She's going to give them one hell of a strafing run.

"I'm not done yet!"
Alexis "Good use of Rock Climb!" Alexis shouts as her battle critter does his wall jump to land on Deelel's back. Which was actually a clever choice on his part. She'll have a harder time using those weapons if she can't shake him off. Breakbeat is doing his best to hang on through the attempts to physically dislodge him.

Unfortunately for the duo they misjudged what the baton was, and Alexis realizes it when Deelel uses it to summon some manner of vehicle. That isn't the lightcycle you would expect. Despite the Scrafty's best efforts he can't hang on with the sudden burst of momentum, which sends him hard to the ground in the wake of Deelel's take off with a bit of a rough roll. He's barely on his feet by the time she's coming around and letting loose with the guns. "Brace for it!" He hunkers down, pulling the hood of his shed-skin up over his head and covering his face with his arms as the weapons roar. In the few chaotic moments it's hard to tell just how many hits there are, but when it passes the bugger is a bit woozy getting back to his feet. That left it's mark with several dark marks in his light toned hide.

Alexis cocks her head back to watch Deelel fly up after her pass, and smirks. "That's a good tactic... But you're not as safe as you think you are." She turns her gaze back to her pokemon. "Breakbeat... Use Smack Down!"

The Scrafty crouchs down, digs his fingers in and pulls up a piece of the simulated arena floor. It's hoisted up, and he spins around several times for some extra force before finally letting go to throw the chunk at Deelel's ride! Using the move specifically meant for knocking things out of the air.
Deelel Deelel had a plan all along and just because she's been pushed very hard so far, does not mean it's over, nor does it mean she's going to just give up a laydown. What's the fun in that and it would make for a bad show as well in the end as well. With the pokemon off her, she's able to get some good air for the moment.

"Got this a few cycles ago back home thanks to a resistance friend of mine."

She notes with a grin, Deelel scoring some military hardware from the grid while a minor craft still is a thing to note. The Pokemon isn't stupid nor is Alexis as she issues the order to shoot her down to speak.

The rock comes it clips Deelel and she's going flying right down at the Pokemon as she gains enough control to direct hr craft to attempt a crash landing into him.

She'll leap off at the last moment but does doubt it will be enough to stop the very speedy little pokemon.

On impact the jet will chunk a bit sending voxel cubes all over the place as it remains now in the arena floor, it's a good thing this is a simulated fight for its own sake.

"Well we're just getting started!"
Alexis She's going down, she's going down... OH CRAP SHE'S GOING DOWN!

Despite being a good tactic to use it turns into a bit of a double-edged sword as Deelel sends her craft on a suicide dive when she can't recover. "Scra!" Breakbeat turns and runs in the opposite direction, managing to dive at the last moment to avoid being crushed under the crashing vehicle. The explosion of data as it hits the ground is enough to throw him off his feet and hurtling across the arena though!

Alexis recoils a bit herself, holding an arm up to protect her head as voxels fly about in their scattering debris. "Breakbeat?"

"Scraaaf," the lizard-boy groans as he stands up from the rough fall, panting a few times before reaching back to grab his hood and shake a few stray voxels out of it. He shakes himself off, then grabs his 'pants' and pulls them up in a gesture of determination. He's not done yet either. After getting himself straightened out he clenches his fists, rolls his shoulders, launchs himself running towards Deelel once more. There's no elaborate dancing moves this time, just some good old brawling as he throws his weight into a haymaker punch at her, muscles tensing and trying to rebuild some of that waning strength.
Deelel The fight is nearing its end and Deelel knows it, she's not about to just stop here. Breakbeat comes right at her and she will attempt to evade it doesn't go as well as she'd hoped and he just pummels the heck out of her with its strike she staggers reeling back that last hit? Was so hard it's left a crushed impact wound on Deelel's chest where one can see the voxel and a blue light bleeding from the wound.

"Not... done yet."

Her voice is digitally distorted at this point and she'll pull her ID disc out again and sues it attempting a brutal series of strikes followed by what's normally a finishing moves int he GAMEs attempting to drive the edge into the pokemon's chest, if she's going down she's going to make him /feel/ it.

She'll also keep up the attack just trying to keep the pokemon under a constant siege of strikes but it's clear she's putting everything she's got left into this.
Alexis Alexis wasn't the one directly in the combat but her heart was racing all the same. This was the sort of intensity a Trainer like her lived for. Nail biting, down to the wire, pushing every tactic and ability they have. The adrenaline was pumping... and honestly it's probably what her Pokemon was running mainly on at this point. But Fighting types were good for that, and being a Dark type as well he was doubly intent on not giving up easily.

Several strikes come in, hammering him hard and sending the lizard-boy staggering with everyone despite his efforts to roll with the blows. But as Deelel winds up to go for that final thrust Alexis finally steps back into command, remembering the trick she's seen a certain Pikachu do. "Now!" Scrafty didn't have a suitable tail for that, but he had something they should be able to use just as well. "Defend with IRON HEAD!"

His mohawk ridge. Which starts to sheen like metal as he hunkers down and leans forward, protecting his body with that and his already hard skull. The thrust drives home, grinding against the temporarily hardened ridge being used like a blade. Until Breakbeat finally bucks his head up to disengage, skidding backwards as he forces the pair apart again.

"Recover quick," Alexis makes a mock punching gesture of her own, "And use Fire Punch!"

That might be the surprise she's looking for, there's nothing to indicate he'd know a fire move. "Scraaaaaaa!" Breakbeat cocks his arm back, flames flaring around the digits like a fiery knuckleduster as he clenches a fist and swings.
Deelel The fight is at its end Deelel's taking a beating her energy levels are low and she's just going to take one heck of a hit in the counter-attack the fire punch slams into her she's done and she knows it if this was a normal fight? She'd horribly injured here thankfully it's not she'll hit the ground after catching fire for a moment as she hit the ground bouncing along on her back for a moment but at that point, she's done.

The announcer calls out "AND ALEXIS IS THE WINNNNNNNNER!"

The damage the fight has done starts to fade, the light jet reforms then vanishes into wireframe becoming a baton once more that falls to the ground.

She'll slowly get up and go to shake Alexis' hand and then put an arm around her shoulder.

"So I know a good place we can hang out now and you have to tell me how you caught your friend here! It also seems my age of 500 cycles is catching up to me."

She'll laugh there it was a good fight and she seems pretty happy there.
Alexis As soon as it's clear Deelel isn't getting back up again Breakbeat... promptly falls on his bum and slouchs, panting hard. Being the one still concious isn't much when you're absolutely wiped as far as energy goes. That pushed his limits even as a Fighting type, even with the rough start Deelel had.

"Good job, Break. Rest up." Once the simulation resets she zaps him into his pokeball. And then uses that hand to shake Deelel's, with the ball between them, so it's close to shaking the hand of the guy that actually faught her.

"Yeah, well," she replies as she does that same with her own arm over the shorter girl's shoulders. "I knew my best chance was a quick-footed pokemon that you'd hopefully not seen me use before. I'd considered letting Zapette take a round with you, but... well... that might of been dangerous even with the simulated system."

She's rather not find out what high powered electricity would do to a Program, simulated combat or not. Just the thought of what happens when a Rotom gets mad inside a machine is scary enough.

Alexis laughs as well as they walk out. "Your age? You don't look a bit over 100." Then laughs some more at her own dumb attempt at a computer joke. Because 'bit'.
