Owner Pose
Iianor     For those who find themselves invited to Iianor's abode, the way is easy... ...And open. Not only does a porthole open leading to the painting realms, but the world itself is welcoming, warm, and quite content to speed you on your way to where-ever you happen to be going. ...No matter how impossible the route might be normally.

In this case, after you travel through the porthole, there's the sensation of you traveling with friends through a vast forest, interacting with fae-creatures, traveling through a valley, and then ending up somewhere into and through a world of twilight to a garden... ...The memories and the expirience of traveling is ephemeral, dreamlike in some ways, but if you concentrate on it hard enough, parts of it clear enough that you can remember them.

At the end of the road is a garden, and in the garden is an archmage, sitting at a small table, and sipping a cup of tea while thousands of tiny motes of light whirl around him in a curious pattern.
Marrik Marrik frankly has seen stranger things since unifying, but few that he could tell with absolute sureness weren't going to hurt him. Of course if he wasn't invited he probably would have seen a far colder reception, unless the 'go away' hint included fire. Set a man on fire and he's warm for the rest of his life and all that.

Marrik unslung a messenger bag and opened it before pulling out a block of cheese. Chedder trimmed he sat by Iianor and nodded approvingly, "Thank you for inviting us to your home."
Emiya Shirou     Shirou was on the way out of an unexpected 'diplomatic meeting' when the portal swept him up. Feeling it was friendly and somehow KNOWING it was related to a comment he made on the radio, he took it.

The redheaded magus finds himself drifting through an experience he can't say is real, or not. Like a dream, but he's awake. When he comes to his senses, he's... standing in the garden. Shirou's dressed in a manner not really suited for flower viewing. Blue jeans. Simple shoes. A white shirt with grey sleeves... but his awed expression? That certainly fits.

"...wowwwww..." Even with his Magical Circuits off, this place is overwhelming his meager senses... All of them.

He's kind of dazed like that for several seconds efore he finally gets his wits together and spots Iianor.

"Am... am I supposed to be here?" It feels almost holy. He's practically a trespasser...
Iianor     Iianor smiles, "You're both welcome here." He gestures with a slender hand at both of them, "Please have a seat if you desire, or..." He gives them both a slightly brighter smile, "We can go for a walk in the garden?" There's a pause and Iianor tilts his head quizicly at Emiya, "Why wouldn't you be, 'supposed to be here'?"

The motes of light swirling around the mage seem to pause for a moment before a few of them decide to start hovering about Marrik and Emiya in a sort of 'we're curious about you' sort of fashion. "The little ones seem to think you're welcome."
Marrik Marrik ate a small chunk of cheese before holding his hand out for the little lights, "I'd almost say they're pixies, but they're too small for the ones I know." A small smile. "So what about you Shirou, how are you?"
Emiya Shirou     "Hrm... never mind. If you say there's no problem, then there isn't any." Shirou states stupidly - he's still somewhat awed and dazed. This much magic, this much stunning beauty. Without really grokking his situation, he idly thinks that it's really a pity that Sakura's not here to see this...

A thought that brings him back to reality. Alongside Marrik's voice! Well, there's also the fairies. Shirou glances left, right, eyes trailing some of them. "...Fairies? Where did that portal take me... oh! Sorry."

After asiding to Marrik with, "Fine, just a bit disoriented." He takes the invitation, approaching and taking a seat with Iianor. "I'm Emiya Shirou. Are you the Magus from the Union radio?"
Iianor     Iianor smiles softly, "You have a good eye. They're ... I suppose you would call them the larval state of a certain kind of faerie." He frowns slightly, "I think that's the closest way to explain them, given that they're-" He pauses for a moment before shrugging and then chuckling, "The details are irrelevant really. They eat the petals, and they live here in peace."

Glowing green eyes travel between the two for a moment, "I am the magus from the Union radio yes, My name is Iianor, and it's a pleasure to meet the both of you in the flesh." A couple of the faelings settle into his hair, and slowly start brading the strands as he speaks, "I know it can be a bit disorienting but... There's really nothing that can harm you here, unless you bring it yourself. So, relax."
Marrik A subspace that manifests your subconscious.

Oh dear. Marrik swallowed, "Given I'm still dealing with baggage should I find somewhere less metaphorical to be?" He fidgeted in his seat, but didn't yet get up in case he was wrong.
Emiya Shirou     "Iianor." Shirou tries out the unfamiliar word and unfamiliar language carefully, then commits it to memory as best he can. This is utterly insane and dreamlike. If he doesn't focus, it'll be hard to take it seriously.

"I didn't expect the invitation to be so dramatic. Thank you, I'm really grateful for it!" He really is. Who'd've expected such a welcoming from an errant comment? He's not at ALL ready for this kind of meeting. It has him a tad frustrated. But only a tad. It's hard to feel bothered here.

"... Though, now that I'm here, I'm not sure where that is. Teleportation magic...?"
Iianor     Emiya, Marrik and Iianor are all sitting in chairs around the central table, Marrik is eating a bit of cheese, and Iianor sipping at some tea while they all chat. There's also a number of motes of light drifting around the three in odd patterns, some of which hint at curiousity about Marrik and Emiya, though a few of them just seem to be content to settle in Iianor's hair. "It's not quite that metaphysical Marrik." He smiles slightly, "What I'm actually saying, is that this world is a place of peace, unless you actually bring violence and harm here, it doesn't exist."

His lips twich slightly, and he hides a grin as he glances at Shirou, "You're not used to mages being dramatic, and slightly showy from time to time?" He shakes his head, "Then I feel sorry for you. Your world must be slightly boring at times..."
Emiya Shirou     "Sorry, but no." Shirou's voice turns a little playfully sarcastic in reprisal. "For starters, the only other one I've met was my dad. Second, Magi are really secretive. Um... mine's one of those worlds where magic's kept hidden and most people don't know it exists." He's encountered a fair few in the databases so far, so that should make sense to anyone, right?

"This... world. So I was right." He exhales relievedly. Though why he's relieved... well, his face screws up a little in consternation after thinking about it. Wait, why is he RELIEVED that this isn't the same dimension? Doh!

"...Sorry, Iianor. The change of scenery confused me for a bit. It'd be nice if more of the Multiverse was like this though." He speaks earnestly! What else can he say?
Staren     A portal opens! Staren follows some of the faelings through, himself followed by... a metal unicorn. That is, an animated statue of what looks like a highly stylized unicorn, under 5' tall with a compact body and unusually thick legs. Staren looks around curiously, taking in his surroundings. "Iianor! Loooong time no see! Too long." Staren smiles and nods to him. "Shirou, Marrik." they, too, get nods. "So what've you been up to lately, old friend?" Staren approaches the group. The statue follows him, staring straight ahead. Obviously a magical automaton.
Ayako Hasekawa     "Hmm...?" Ayako's amber eyes peek out of a pool nearby the group in the garden. She's not really hiding. The big red ribbon tied into a bow that's holding her ponytail in place isn't exactly what anyone would call stealthy. It seems to more of a confused, shy look in her eyes than anything else.
Staren     Staren catches sight of the red ribbon, then looks back to Iianor. "New kid?"
Iianor     Iianor smiles slightly and shakes his head, "I'm not sure why they would be hiding themselves, but... ...Hopefully you can at least enjoy the chance to practice magic here more openly Emiya?"

And then there's Staren. "Hello Staren." He smiles at him, then sort of pauses his expression taking a sort of an inward bent for a moment, "Thats..." A pause, "Well. It's good to see you again. Though a bit of a surprise, I didn't realize that she was inviting people in... Though I would imagine she has her own reasons." Glowing green eyes shift to the mecha-unicorn-let following Staren before he tilts his head slightly, "A new invention?"

There's another pause, as he looks over at Ayako, and then another moment of slight constrination. "Well... I'm afraid to dissapoint you here Staren but..." He stands, and the motes of light sort of hover about him for a moment, before a small number of them zip over to appropriate his tea-cup.

He steps gracefully over to Ayako, before kneeling in front of the pool, "Greetings. My daughter tells me that she invited you here as a guest, because you had," He raises an eyebrow questioningly, "'lost your way'."
Emiya Shirou     "Nn." Shirou nods agreeingly. "I don't really get why they're so secretive either, but Magi who stand out get in a lot of trouble with the Mage's Association and the Holy Church. The stereotypical magus, as I heard it, is a shut-in who spends lots of time in a workshop doing weird experiments for the sake of magical research itself. Proud, old-fashioned, and coldly calculating. I couldn't tell you anymore than that about them even if you ask..." And he feels vaguely odd discussing such things in this peaceful place. Magi are jerks, after all!

But suddenly, Staren and his automaton are wandering in. Shirou blinks a few times, peering at the creation oddly. "Ohhh? Twilight Sparkle is inspiring you, isn't she? Whatever that is, it must've taken lots of work...!"

He almost feels before he sees the last newcomer. Almost, that is, because this place's magic is overwhelming his meager senses. But he fixes his eyes on Ayako and boggles a little. That clothing style's something familiar, at least, and it sets him at ease.
Staren     Staren blinks and looks around. "Which daughter?" He doesn't see anyone. But Iianor could have an invisible daughter. He shrugs. "Why would I be disappointed? Daughter or guest, it's a new person to meet either way. And this," he turns to look back at the unicorn golem, "Is an example of what I've created with your teachings. Sorry they're so crude and simple... I haven't created anything like your kids, because, well, I'm not ready for kids. Although, I have thought that sometime maybe I should get a refresher course, and see if there aren't maybe other ways I can improve on constructs without creating fully sapient beings."

Staren blinks at Shirou. "Actually, this is based on my unicorn form, and I mass-produce them. Mass-producing statues based on someone else seems like it'd be kinda rude, you know?"
Ayako Hasekawa     The girl's head sinks slightly underwater when Staren notes the red ribbon. Her eyes are still peeking out of the water, though.
As Iianor walks over to the pool, Ayako's head edges back just an inch-and then stops once she's spoken to. "I... well. Hello." The amber eyes glance away from Iionor shyly for a moment. "Being lost isn't so bad though. Once in a while its nice to just go where you feel like rather than where you're directed." A soft and cheerful giggle comes from the pool.
Ayako rises out of the water of the pool, sitting in a seiza on top of the pool's surface. Oddly enough, her clothing and body isn't wet at all. "U-umm..." She bows politely while still sitting, "I... Hmm... I'm Ayako Hasekawa, a water spirit. S-sorry to intrude on everyone." She smiles sheepishly.
Iianor     Gives Staren a slight smile, "The one you're standing on, or in, depending on your viewpoint. Ask me about the faelings some other time. I think you might find the whole explanation rather interesting." He shrugs, "As for not being ready for children, that's a mature attitude to take. I think you'll know when you're ready." He gives off a soft chuckle, "Or Twilight will. Either way..."

His eyes shift back to Ayako, "You're welcome here Ayako. Even if you just want to wander. Though I am a bit curious... Most of the water spirits I've known tend to take up a more permanant residence in a lake, or an ocean somewhere."
Emiya Shirou     If it weren't for the miraculous display of sitting on water, and not being drenched, Shirou might not believe the miraculous claims of being a water spirit. After all, Ayako doesn't look the part. She's way too normal-seeming to be something so out there! ... or so he'd imagine.

But when he sees that amazing feat, he stands up in a hurry and tries to avoid rudely gawking. he does stare a bit, wide-eyed and a touch awed. Though, it is one more amazing thing added to a list here, when you get down to it.

"You're not... I guess. Magical lessons were what drew me here but we haven't gotten that far.. and really, Staren? Isn't making something based on yourself equally egotistical?" He's joking. There's that telltale ribbing quality in his voice. "Thanks for your help the other day. It's helped me force Leyte back twice, if barely!"
Staren     Staren blinks at Ayako. "I wouldn't say you're intruding... although I think I have to disagree with you on being lost. I would /not/ like it."

Staren blinks and steps back reflexively, looking down at the ground. The painting is Iianor's daughter? What? He nods at being called mature, then blushes bright red at Iianor's implication about he and his girlfriend having kids. "I... w-well... will..."

Shirou gives him something else to talk about. "I suppose, but that's not why I did it. Actually... at the time, I was making troops in a hurry to help defend Equestria from the Black Queen while Discord was distracting its usual defenders, but..." he shrugs. "Now that I have the molds and machines set up, I may as well continue using them when I need disposable automatons to distract enemy troops in combat, right?" he shrugs. "Plus, people are way less likely to recognize it than my normal form, so I can disguise them as artwork. Observe!" He turns around, and without audible words, commands the construct, which rears up and freezes in a pose. "Leave a few of these guys standing guard and no intruder is the wiser."
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako smiles softly and breaths outward in a sigh of relief. "Aahh... that's a relief. If you were mad that I ended up in one of your ponds, I... well... that's not something I have to worry about anymo-"

The moment Iianor says that he is curious, she switfly gets to her feet and walks out of the pool. She eagerly walks towards Iianor, "Oh oh oh, is that a question? It sort of sounded like one!" Her gaze travels upwards for a moment as she thinks, and then answers in a fairly energenic voice, "It's true that I do like places with lots of water, but I like travelling as well." She looks over at Staren and the unicorn golem and then claps her hands together happily. "Oh oh, that's pretty impressive! It moves so naturally."

Ayako walks quietly over to Shirou. "Ehh? Magical lessons, huh?" She smiles brightly, "You know about magic but don't believe I'm a water spirit, do you? I know that look!" A hand is cheerfully extended in Shirou's direction. "Then here, feel my hand." She giggles softly, "Or shake it. Either way is fine."
Iianor     Iianor chuckles and nods to Shirou, glowing green eyes focus on him for a moment, "I'm not precisely the best teacher but, if you'd explain what you'd like for me to help you learn?" He tilts his head slightly, "From those of your world that I've spoken to, you work through magical circuts and tend to ... well. Work mostly off of your element if you want to do something efficient."

Staren gets a slightly amused gaze at the way he reacts to the idea of him and his girlfriend having children, "Yes. This realm is sentient and sapient. Just mostly sleeping." His eyes shift back to the Pony-bot, "Interesting and a good idea, but I fear... It's a trick that will mostly only work once or twice. Though they might make a good police force for Equestria as well..."

There's a pause as Ayako rises from the water, then the archmage smiles at her, "Water likes to travel sometimes. From the air, the air to the earth, to the streams, the rivers, and eventually to the sea, before the cycle repeats..." He chuckles, "Would you like some refreshment then? Or perhaps you have some questions of your own that you'd like answered?"
Staren     Staren smiles to Ayako. "Thank you." At her reaction to Shirou, he replies: "He's kinda new to the Multiverse. His world might not have water spirits." He shrugs. "The trick only really needs to work once. I haven't actually needed it yet, though I've set it up a couple of times."
Emiya Shirou     Shirou studies the frozen automaton carefully. And finally admits, "You're right. I can barely tell the difference between an automaton and a statue... except it's too articulated to be a statue, but that would go unnoticed by most, huh? It's a neat trick."

With Iianor asking him that, Shirou can finally broach the subject. "Yeah. Magical Circuits and affinities. I have this weird talent for Projection - creating things out of mana. Well, I say things, but only things like swords and spears come out right." TOO right, one might say. "The Projections have crappy durability, but that's getting better with practice. The bigger problem is I only have enough energy to make a few. I can't..." He was going to say something else, but it trailed off. Well, no, he bit the words back. But even if he didn't, something distracts him.

Well, whoever this new girl is, she's daring. Incredibly daring. Shirou freezes all throughout her approach, like a deer caught in headlights. The redheaded, amber-eyed magus can't tampd own on his curiosity, but geeze, what is this? The girl's just offering him her hand.

Fate just loves to keep throwing difficult curveballs at him these days. His expression turns a bit obstinate and his body twitches, hand moving halfway to grasp Ayako's... there's a moment of hesitation. But he overcomes it through force of will and gently grasps the hand.

Whatever ELSE might come, he's gonna start blushing quickly...
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako smiles brightly towards Iianor and winks playfully while raising her free left pointer finger to rest on her left cheek, "Water goes where it will. Also, I drank quite a bit from your pool there." She then nods her head once, "Oh... well, the real question I have is... may I know everyone's names? I don't want to be rude and refer to everyone oddly." She giggles brightly and a cheerful nod is given to Staren. "You're welcome! I'd call it a success if it does work once!"

"Relax, relax! I'm not going to eat you or anything. I don't eat, anyway and I just finished drinking too." Ayako smiles cheerfully as Shirou grasps her hand. "Ah, there we go."

Ayako's hand feels like a normal human girl's hand. The skin is soft, there's the gentle resistance of the muscles of her hand and the harder resistance of the bones within. Her hand's normally warm too. "Un! Normal right? But not really." The seeminly normal hand quickly loses it's color and solidity, becoming water floating in the air in the shape of a hand. Still connected to her wrist, where the water fades back into normal skin.
Staren     "Oh!" Staren forgot to introduce himself! "I'm Staren! The Union's Problem Researcher. I mean... Researcher of Problems for the Union." He approaches and extends a hand to shake. "Nice to meet you, miss."
Emiya Shirou     "It doesn't--" feel weird? Shirou can't say that. He's rarely one to grab any girl's hands, obviously. Of course it feels a bit weird. But then...

Then it feels really weird. His grasp moves through fluid and-- "Aybshgwuuuah?!"

Startled and DEFINITELY overreacting, whilst blushing incredibly, Shirou sort of half-leaps, half-stumbles directly backwards and ends up flat on his face. "Mrrrrghhhhff...."
Iianor     Iianor smiles slightly at Staren, "True. It does only need to work once. I admit, I am curious as to what the rulers of Canterlot think of the idea of a standing army of your automations." He shrugs, and pauses for a moment as a few of the motes of light land on Staren's head, and then flit over to the pony-bot.

His eyes shift back to Shirou and he nods, "That's an interesting ability." He tilts his head slightly before he nods, "And you do look fit enough to use it strategicly so... I suspect we're going to be working on how to enhance your magic circuts, your ability to contain energy, and how to bring out the best of your element." He pauses for a moment, "Quite possibly we'll be doing something with materials work." He shrugs, then hids a grin as Shirou reacts to Ayako's demonstration, and friendliness.

"Well. As I mentioned earlier, I'm Iianor. Creation mage and what not." He raises an eyebrow slightly at her demonstration, "You're a higher order water spirit it seems. Interesting. So how did you end up in the Multiverse?"
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako smiles brightly towards Staren. "Ah ah, nice to meet you, Staren. Please call me Ayako." She then blinks her eyes quickly as Shirou reacts to touching her watery hand-and then grins mischeivously to herself. "Oh, responses like that never get old. It's fresh every single time." A bright giggle escapes her lips and then she looks over concerned towards Shirou, "Are you alright?"

She returns her gaze towards Staren and sheepishly glances between her two hands. "Hmmm~? Which do you want to shake?" She grins playfully and then calmly glances back to Iianor. "Nice to meet you too, Iianor." Ayako tilts her head to the side gently, causing her ponytail to swish softly. "Hmm... higher order? I just think of myself as a water spirit, honestly." She smiles sheepishly while glancing off to the side, and her eagerness returns once she's asked a question. "To be honest, I'm not sure how I ended up here either."
Staren     Staren looks slightly amused at Shirou shenanigans. Iianor's question gets a scrunchy-faced expression, though. "It was one thing when the world was tossed into /literal/ chaos. Now... a standing automaton army would just frighten the ponies, you know? Or at least make them uneasy." He blinks. "Well, I suppose Future Twilight might be interested. Hmm. She's got guards though... well, it's probably at least worth discussing with her."

Staren shakes the water hand just to see how it feels. "Where were you before?"
Staren     Staren blinks at something on his HUD. "Oh, shoot... I should get going. Well, it was nice meeting you, miss. Iianor... we gotta talk magic sometime. See ya!" Presumably he is led back through a portal
Ayako Hasekawa     The watery right hand just feels like looks. None of the water sticks to Staren's hand either; when it exits Ayako's hand it's dry. Ayako just smiles cheerfully, and answers the question happily. "Hmm...? Before I was walking out of a city one moment and the next I find myself here. Ah! Don't let me keep you. Hope to see you later, Staren." Ayako smiles softly.
Iianor     Iianor pauses for a moment then gestures, "Certainly Staren. You know you're welcome here anytime." A porthole opens, leading to the outside, to wherever Staren entered from.
Iianor     Iianor continues, "I mean that you have a greater degree of control over your element then most do." He gives a shrug, then pauses for a moment to reach up and unbraid a few strands of hair. "That's rather odd to end up here in such a..." A pause, and then his expression turns inward for a long moment.

"Ayako." He tilts his head slightly at her, not noticing the fact that a few of the motes of light are rebraiding those strands of hair from earlier. "She implied that you're new to the Multiverse. Is this true?"
Emiya Shirou     After a few more grumbly noises, Shirou hops to his feet and dusts himself off. he's still flustered beyond belief and forcing himself to calm down. Man, that was a shocker! "Calm down, calm down, why am I so flustered-" He mutter-mumbles to himself. Then finally gets another look at Ayako. She's friendly, and rather pretty. But that mischief... he'd better be on guard against her. She's got a few scary elements to her!

"Emiya Shirou. Alright, I believe you!" He hurriedly gets out, before she gets any more ideas. Hopefully. "... Well, this way of showing up is better than mine. I fell off a roof." He doesn't really want to admit it, but if it makes Ayako feel better when the truth of this sets in...

He waves as Staren heads off, then takes a few seconds to parse what Iianor said.

"...E-eh? You're offering training, and we just met? I don't have any way to pay back anything.!" And man, this guy sounds sharp. Shirou really wants to hear what he has to say...
Iianor     Iianor looks at Shirou for a moment before he smiles slightly, "I already mentioned that I tend to lose track of time, didn't I?" He chuckles, "You would be repaying me, if you have to repay me, by keeping me ground with a sense of time." He glances over to Ayako for a moment, before he goes back to explaining, "You're a Unionite, so I know that you're trustworthy, and several others have spoken well of you. The fact that the fae-lings like you also speaks well of your character."

He gestures to the side, "Can you think of any reason why I shouldn't try and help you out?"
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako blinks her eyes slowly, "Hmm... I don't know about greater or lesser. All I really know is what I can do." She nods her head once and thinks to herself for a moment, her gaze turning upwards... "Ah. What's a Multiverse?" She asks somewhat flatly.

The watery right hand slowly reforms back into a proper human's hand. "Nice to meet you Shirou! Please call me Ayako." She giggles softly as Shirou quickly gets back up. "Training huh? That sounds nice. Projection-" And her thought is cut short quickly, "Umm... by the way, what's this about a Union?"
Iianor     Iianor considers for a moment, "Ah. That would be why she redirected you here, Ayako." He smiles slightly, "The Multiverse is a collection of worlds, inside, outside, and upon the surface of a great hollow planet." He glances to Shirou, "It's huge. Far larger then one person can imagine, far larger then even this realm, and this realm is ... larger then most can easily understand."

He reaches up to lightly unbraid his hair again, much to the amusement of the motes, "The Union is one of the largest groups of people that are currently working towards the general good of the Multiverse and against the Confederacy." He gazes at her for a moment, "The Confederacy is ... working towards their own domination of the Multiverse, with little regard for many of the people involved, and less regard for any who do not have the power to be useful to them."
Emiya Shirou     Shirou's stupefied twice over in the same few minutes. Iianor's stared at disbelievingly for a second or two... then Shirou sprouts a grateful smile. "That'd be a big help to me. I'll figure out something else. Nah... my reasons are exactly in line with what the Union does. I just thought a magus... wizard?" he tries a few different terms. For some reason he doesn't like referring to Iianor as a Magus...

"...would be stingier with their time and attention."

But oh, Ayako's asking about Projection. Shirou gets an idea. He extends a single hand, gripping the empty air, and quietly chants, "Trace, on."

His eyes close and brow furrows in intense focus. A trickle of magical energy leaks from him, mostly around his hands... and then...

With a sizzling crackle of light and arcing energy, a hazy wireframe appears. The shape? A sword. A primitive, solid piece of metal with no proper guard. It's darkly forged, with a thick core and a fine blade. The grip's suitable for up to two hands in a pinch, with a spiky protrusion in the middle, and the pommel is styled like very plain upswept 'wings.' The grip's wrapped in leather of some sort. All in all, the weapon is extremely plain.

Over about twenty seconds, the projection fills in, gains more detail and solidity. The light finally fades with a solid *kssssh-CLANK* noise, and a blade that Ayako, given her japanese name, MIGHT be familiar with rests in his hands.

Kusanagi no Tsurugi, the 'grass cutting sword,' of the Imperial Regalia. Except this is no aged weapon kept in some treasury away from prying eyes. It's a mystical blade of incredible quality.

Shirou gently stabs it tip-first into the ground.

    "Projection."

If he can get HER to boggle a little, then maybe it's a bit of payback.

"Man, I can't add anything to that. You explained it perfectly, Iianor."
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako thinks to herself for a moment... "Hmm... I see. That-" She raises her arms upwards into the air cheerfully, "-Sounds like fun!" She smiles brightly and then nods her head slowly.

As the Union is explained, she nods her head slowly. "Un un..." She smiles softly. "Sounds wonderfully heroic."

As the Confederacy is explained, she nods her head quickly. "Uh huh." She grins softly, "Might makes right, huh? I can understand that too."

"But, if anything, I'd like to work towards helping people more than anything. So I'll cheer for the Union." She smiles cheerfully. "And I'm not just saying that because you're both in the Union either."

Her gaze returns to Shirou and she watches him quietly... and then claps her hands together quickly, "Oh oh, that's a wonderful thing you've projected, Shirou! It looks just like it!"
Iianor     Iianor shrugs, "Archmage is the proper term, but I prefer Iianor." He smiles, then blinks as he realizes that the fae have braided his fingers into his hair. "Hmm..." For a moment his hand fades for existence and then reforms as he lets it drop to his side, "Little goofballs."

His eyes follow Shirou's projection, and then he nods as it's completed, "That's ... rather well done, and I think..." He chuckles, "I suppose we can talk shop more later. I think however, it would be a good idea to find out which materials you can synthesize with the least amount of effort, and what structures you can work out that will give you the most stability." He grins slightly, "After that we can work out how best to apply them to what you're doing."

Glowing green eyes travel back to Ayako, "Ah. So you're saying you'd like to join us then?" He chuckles slightly, "Fight the good fight, stand on the side of the light, and all that?"
Emiya Shirou     She just wants to help people.

Shirou's face goes utterly blank. In an amazed, friendly way.

Could it be? Could someone that good natured really just pop up out of a lake? It's almost unbelievable!

That, and the praise, gets Shirou's blush to return slightly. It's enough if he's just praised, but two blows at once like that is just unfair! "ee-erm... it's not that good. But thanks. You're a good person, if that's how you think. I like that." He blurts without thinking much.

Yeah, no more attempting to get back for that joke.

"Thanks, Iianor. Having someone that can understand what's happening with this will help a lot, I think."
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako smiles softly as she listens to Shirou and Iianor. "Projection isn't my specialty, but... I think it's kind of similar in idea to how I shape water. If you don't know anything that will work, you make what will work." She taps a fist against her head lightly, "Or something like that." A bright giggle escapes her lips.

Her head does tilt to the side gently once Iianor asks her about joining the Union. "Hmm... Yes! Although..." She glances off to the side and her normally cheerful expression dims, "I... I don't know about fighting." Her gaze goes back up. "Healing and helping, sure. But actually hurting someone else... that..." Ayako's eyes become a bit dim for a moment-although it ends quickly once Shirou tells her that she's a good person. "A-ah." She smiles cheerfully back at Shirou.
Iianor     Iianor smiles and nods to both of them, "Not wanting to hurt people is understandable." He glances out over at the setting sun, "I can understand it. I'm not anywhere near as good at combat magic as I am at creation magic." After a moment he shrugs, "Well then. By the power invested in me by the Union..." A chuckle, "I hereby induct you into the Union healing forces."

He chuckles again, "They'll have to figure out what level of healing skills and whatnot that you have, but that can come later."

Glowing green eyes travel back to Shirou, "I think we can help you grow your skills. Though you have to promise to not test them offensively within the painting realms." He frowns slightly, "Violence and injury don't exist here. Be careful not to introduce them."
Emiya Shirou     Wow, just like that? Shirou's amazed. Could someone just take everyone at their word like that? He's not sure he would. Although he did something similar.

Saber was so amazingly dignified, chivalrous, and honest, not to mention elegant and beautiful that he took everything she had to say as the undeniable truth, after all...

"Don't worry. Why would I go swinging around a sword in someone's home?" Shouldn't this be obvious? Shirou's pretty normal, if slightly bothered tone is about as mundane as it gets...
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako smiles brightly and places her fists side-by-side in front of her chest. "I'll do my best!" She glances off to the side a bit, "Although if I do see an innocent Confederate about to die, I will try to save their life. Water doesn't really take a side for that kind of thing." She nods her head once.

A happy smile is given to Shirou, "That's good! You never know! For some people, swinging a sword around might be polite or their way of honoring someone." She then blinks her eyes quickly and then turns towards Iianor, seeming worried. "Umm... sorry, Iianor. I seem to have introduced mischeif to this world by accident." She glances over at the fae for a moment.
Iianor     Iianor chuckles and shakes hi head at Shirou for a moment, "Common sense isn't often very common."

He glances back to Ayako before he smiles warmly, "Oh, they've known what mischief was for ages upon ages. No worries there."
