Lily	Lily's waiting at the teleporter in SBC Glocken and Rei's standing right next to her, there's a bit of a tap of her foot, "They should be here soon." she nods, "It's some people's first time." she comments with Rei giving a grin. "It's okay, Master, they sound competent and willing." she nods, "Ah, I have your rifle and ammo for that one girl, so don't worry. I went ahead and scouted too, there's a good place to snipe so you won't have to worry."     Lily nods and leans up against the teleporter's wall, just waiting for the group this time.
Chrollo Lucilfer	Is Chrollo here to rob the place blind!? Well, he's always looking for opportunities to steal interesting things. But today he's somehow managed to acquire a Side Quest (tm). Really it's the novelty of an actual space ship converted into a town. It's like something out of one of the awful sci-fi novels some of his Troupe kept trying to push on him. Thus the man approaches the teleporter as well as the duo waiting impatiently. He plasters on a pleasant enough smile, adjusting his black, fur-lined coat. His hands rest in his pockets as he eyes the two. "You're Miss Lily and Rei, right? Chrollo Lucilfer. I'm here for the job. Nice to meet you two." He offers in his most polite voice.
Sumiko	Mikoto arrives at the teleporter after getting through the warp gate without much fanfare.  Today she is wearing a Lapis blue blouse with a matching dress, Emerald stockings with ruby-colored shoes.  Her hair is up, to keep out of her eyes, and on her right hand is a black ring.   She seems fairly happy-go-lucky right now, approaching Lilly and Rei with a slow pace.  She seems more interested in checking out the sights before immediately showing up and introducing herself.  Which isn't /unfair/ there is a lot to see for a first-timer. "Hello, I'm Mikoto!  I assume you are Miss Lily and Miss Rei right?  Nice to meet you!"
Tomoe	Tomoe had played GGO a lot before the great multiversal barf and while she'd lost most of her abilities form it? She still had a few things such as some of the rarer melee weapons from GGO. So n the spirit of thing she switched her appearance and equipped her beam sword along with a riot shield of some sort, she'd picked up on the way and would be coming up to the teleporter appearing to be far shorter than As Tomoe or even as Sheen and she grins at Lily for a bit. Her voice remains unchanged, however. "Hey Lily, I used to play GGO quite a bit before thing really changed." Her Eisen form does a little spin for a moment and tilts her head a bit. "I figure I'd have some fun with this. So Lily? Rei what's up?" "Chrollo right I heard you on the comms I think." She also take a look to Mikoto. "Good to have you along Mikoto."
Nova Terra	A form materializes at the transporter. Armored boots, skintight bodysuit, large rifle and odd blade on her back, blonde ponytail. It's Nova. Her arms are crossed as she appears, glancing around at the sight before her. It looks like a rather impressive city, giving her some familiar feelings.     Seeing the nearby group gathering, it's easy to pick up on it being the ones that Nova is here to join. Especially as she recognises one of them. Nova walks over to join them, "Hey. Nova Terra. So what's the target?" Down to business. Clearly a professional!
Rean Schwarzer	Rean shows up to the teleporter not long after the others. He's still in his short sleeved summer uniform, black hair as spiky as usual. After all, he still had school today. Nerd. "Hey, Mikoto." He says, giving her a wave. "And...Um...That you, Tomoe?" Rean says. It definitely sounded like her at least. But she was shorter! And not a fairy. Maybe this was her character in this game. He doesn't /quite/ know the other two though.
Kirito	A starter quest. In most circumstances, this would be nothing to worry about. 'Go kill ten slimes' or whatever. But this world they're all in is no longer a game. Real combat isn't the same as fighting a digital monster in a virtual game... because now, failure could mean death.     There's no way Kirito's going to let some noob who randomly acquired an Augma without explanation go adventuring without a little backup. He wouldn't be able to sleep at night!     That doesn't change the fact that the young man strolling into the teleporter chamber, with the characteristic pointy ears of an Alfheim elf isn't looking forward to this at all. Oh, hunting's great...     It's the prospect of meeting more people face to face that has him the teensiest bit anxious. Even so, he steps forth towards the group, hands in his coat pockets. "Y-...yo. Everyone already geared up? This is just a newbie quest, right? Shouldn't be too dangerous, but I mean it when I say we should be ready for anything out there."     He glances around a bit, checking out who's ccoming. Who he recognizes... and who he doesn't. This means he's actually pretty quick to spot Lily. The boy leans forward ever so slightly, rubbing his chin. "Hohhhh... I didn't know GGO had a hairstyle and color like that." He, after all, doesn't look much different in reality from his current appearance...     But he's had a good reason to stay far away from GGO after what happened with the avatar transfer...     "I'm Kirito. Do we have a party setup already?"     The only thing that's changed about him that familiar people will notice is that he's added a holster to his belt that might be made out, partially covered by his coat. An inactive beam saber's clipped to it. No doubt, he'd prefer the hefty twin swords sheathed across his back though...
Lily	And people are popping in and both Lily and Rei smile. "Mmhmm, that's us." Rei comments, giving a wave to Mikoto. "We'll show you how to use the rifle and I'll hand over the ammo soon." pause, "And here, have a party invite, it'll help us keep track of health." beat "Well, let Rei keep track of health. She has a curative shot." And party request sent.     With Tomoe coming in she grins and waves, Lily immediately shooting a party invite towards her. "Hey Tomoe! Good to see you and thanks for coming, I appreciate it. We'll be leaving soon once everyone is here."     Chrollo doesn't get ignored and a party invite is sent his way, "Good to have you, there's a small reward for this and I'll treat everyone to lunch after so look forward to that!"     Rean and Nova both gets a party invite and a wave, "And we should be getting one more person.. Good to have you there, Rean and Nova! Thanks for joining me, this should be easier comparitvely than doing this solo. Shouldn't be too hard, I hope!"     And there he is, as soon as she sees that peculiar look and there's a party invite. "Yep, we're all good, I just need to show Mikoto how to use the assault rifle then we can attack the boss. I've got the location ready so... just head on through!" and with that, Lily and Rei run right through.
Lily	Once everyone's through, there's a new wasteland that shows up! Rocky cavern, almost like a lived in Grand Canyon, is in view, the sun beats down on the area while various denizens, both organic and inorganic show up... small, visible health bars on some of them. In the distance, there's a huge factory-like area, with buildings roughly thirty to fourty feet in height... if one looked hard enough, one may see the visage of the automaton they were tasked to hunt.
Chrollo Lucilfer	Grey eyes turn to Tomoe, the man looking her over curiously. Eventually he gives a little nod. "I'm meeting so many fascinating people." He notes to her, before more people arrive. Mikoto in particular gets a slight raise of his brows, lingering for a moment before turning his attention away. Isn't that the girl that Majima seems so protective of? Hmm. Rean and Nova in particular get their own polite nods, before his attention turns to Lily and company. The nervous young man Kirito gets a brief chuckle. "As much as I can be. This...GGO...is new to me. I'll be looking forward to seeing what experts in it can do." He /does/ look generally interested in all this. It's a novel experience. Also he might be a little lost. For the mind reader in the group, he's definitely a bit amusingly puzzled on terms like 'party'. Luckily, Lily quickly helps get the newbies like himself up to speed. Blip! His eyes widen in brief surprise. Reach. Poke! "What an amazing world this is. I'm already being rewarded. If we're all working together, make sure to partner up and protect each other." Chrollo at least is well used to working with a team. After another glance at the party, he places himself near Nova. Given the assault rifle, he figures she might could use some physical protection. Then he steps through the teleporter! "They're an excitable bunch." He mentions to no one in particular, pulling a knife out of his pocket. No nen yet, but he's scanning the horizon for the automaton in question. Hmmm.
Sumiko	Mikoto raises a brow at Chrollo who seems to give her a look.  Shrugging she doesn't say anything or make a deal out of it, who knows what was going on there.  Her head turns towards Tomoe, with a smile and a small laugh, "Ah flattery will get you everywhere," She says in a slightly overly sweet tone, and then laughs again, obviously joking.  Probably. When Lilly runs through, Mikoto is right behind.  The field opens up into the wastelands and she takes a long look at everything.  There were monsters and the like, and by this point, she finally bothers to hit the ok button to accept the party invite.   "Well, better take this place seriously," She says, and then holds her hand out.  There is a flash, as jade seems to burst out of the ground, coming to her hand in the figure of a sword.  The jade covers her body, as the ~magical girl transformation~ starts.  As the jade breaks, parts of her outfit form until she is completely covered.   The initial piece of jade turns into a jade longsword, which she immediately spins and places on her back.  "There we go, now I'm ready for a fight," She says.  On her neck is a green and silver gem that seems to shimmer quite brightly.  Only the bare hint of a dark speck is found on the crystal. "So hey, show me how that gun works!" She says to Lilly.
Tomoe	Tomoe is too clad in the bodysuit and has a small cylinder hanging from her hip on a chain of some sort she grins to Rean. "It is I Rean. I have a few appearances I can take on this is one of them. I have fun with it sometimes!" Tomoe is in very good spirits today. She looks to Kirito for a moment and grins. "It could be more Automata, given the lore of the game before it was real? The island is crawling with heavy machinery and a lot of automated weapon systems." She notes before looking to Kirito and gets a goofy grin on her face. "Ah I see you're just going like that today?" She'll accept Lily's invite fairly quickly and fall in to move out she knows this area roughly. Enough to not get lost if she's separated from Lily and the rest. She'll pull the cylinder off her hip now as she walks but doesn't power it up. "Watch out for sniper units, they could have some laying in wait." She looks to Chrollo for a moment. "True it's quite the world and it keeps changing. GGO, Alo and CCO have all merged to name a few and Cardinal can fuse more if she darn well feels like it too." 5R She cathces what she thinks is Mikotos joke at her at least she thinks it's such. "Yes we should it can damn well kill you now and we don't get back up anymore."
Nova Terra	Nova glances around at the group now that it appears complete... Bit of a young crowd going on. That could be a concern.     Nova then blinks as a window pops up in front of her. She's not played one of these games before. But it's not hard to figure out. She taps on Yes. Then blinks again as a quiet beep comes from her wrist. Glancing at the suit display, she taps in a few commands into it before reaching up and pulling her visor down over her eyes. She watches as her HUD displays a new party monitor window in the corner...     ... "Huh. Not bad."     Nova appears in the wasteland. She slowly looks around as her visor takes in their surroundings, reporting on the harsh conditions, "Reminds me of some of the more barren worlds I've fought on."     Since they're now in a dangerous situation, Nova reaches up to pull her canister rifle from her back. She chambers a round before holding the weapon ready in her hands. She starts to walk, showing no apparent thanks for the protection Chrollo seems to be providing. Though she does 'Mmmm.' in agreement at his words regarding the energy of the others.
Kirito	Kirito presses the button to accept without a moment's notice. But still... all these people. Few of them he recognizes. If Tomoe wasn't here, he'd probably much more anxious! As it stands though, his gaze sweeps from person to person. Nova looks like a veteran GGO player with that outfit - AND the name... but he studies her intensely a bit. Asking what the target is, instead of going for the quest details in the menu... could it be she's NOT a native?     Similar uncertainty's aimed at Chrollo, whom he's never met. Hard to tell the man's build, abilities, or intentions... and so he settles on, finally, Rean. Who's wearing the LEAST combat-suitable attire he'd have expected, but still carrying a weapon. Kirito fidgets uncomfortably where he stands, but reluctantly asks Rean, "That getup doesn't look too protective. Are your defenses up to this? I don't want anyone dying out there."     Of course the same could be said for Mikoto's outfit, but with all the ribbons and assorted magical girl nonsense, he's less worried about her situation. The rules for female armor are usually vastly different, however that works. But a magical girl outfit... matched with a sword? He makes a WEIRD face, but only for a moment.     Tomoe's goofy teasing is met with an almost 'oh COME ON' glare from Kirito, who does NOT want to speak of his previous GGO avatar if it can at all be avoided! "Of course! I'm a wandering swordsman. Something like a Spriggan ronin! You won't catch me using magic or guns unless I -have- to." The boy exclaims joshingly her way.     Hearing Chrollo's thoughts on the matter though, Kirito looks over his shoulder at the man. "It's a video game turned real. Does your world have games? You look like some kind of mage, martial artist... demon hunter? Something along those lines. Not a lot of worlds with those and video games too, I'm finding, so it's hard to tell." Through the teleporter they go, though.     Kirito's been out in the wastes of GGO a few times. The barren, devasted, twilight beauty is not new to him. But seeing it as a part of what's now reality, hecan't help but stare in awe and wonder. This -wasn't- here... but it is now. What else might be real that's perhaps very dangerous?     "Let's see about this quest..." He begins to finger through his menu, swiping through sub-menus to get to the quest menu and pin whatever the party's been assigned as active on his H.U.D.
Lily	Lily nods, giving MIkoto a look. The transformation gets a look and she ooohs. "Okay, that's neat! Might have to teach me how to do that too!" she takes her rifle from Rei then heads forward, "So, hands like this... finger off trigger until you're ready." she hefts the rifle some, nodding, then points it towards what looks to be a bird... Lily would see a targeting reticle and then... brrrt! Shots ring out from the rifle, chipping at the bird before going on the move, firing, running, firing, running, avoiding attacks... before it falls. Heading back, she offers the rifle over and ammo, "That should be good enough."     "So, the target is named Elite Automaton, it's kinda low level but, you never know. It's a big mechanical being so... it's kinda hard to miss once we get there." she nods. "Rei will spear head the assault. Just bob and weave through those rocks, avoid any of the flying drones... it should just be the big automaton... but you know how quests goes, check for oother mini bosses with it okay?"     She turns to Rei, "You may have to be on heal support." beat "If Rei is pointing at you with a pistol, don't worry, it's her Cure Bullet special." Rei grins a bit, "Understood, adjusting to support role, please hold." beat "And done." Lily nods and pulls out what looks to be a grappling gun. "Okay, let's go!" She points the UFG to a rock... click.. and an energy beam rockets out and grapples it, dragging the girl forward while a sniper rifle appears upon her back. "C'mon!"
Chrollo Lucilfer	Suddenly Chrollo can see why Majima was so interested, or at least that's the justification that the man comes up with when Mikoto transforms. Part of him wants to start asking those questions, probing, learning. But he forces himself to not outright stare for too long. Definitely a person to watch, mark or ally, either way. Back to more immediately pertinent things, his friendly demeanor from earlier melts away into wariness. Mostly at the massive automaton. He's running through solutions to the problem in his mind. Given the size of the party, it seems subtlety won't exactly be required. And unfortunately, he's yet to steal a proper offensive ability! A look to Kirito. "A martial artist is close enough." He's not about to say 'bandit' in front of these mostly above-board seeming kids. Every now and then he's getting distracted by the interface. He /really/ wishes he had these for the Troupe. The explaination only doubles his curiousity. "There's a game in my world called Greed Island that operated like that. Very rare and expensive. I never had an opportunity to play it properly. It looks like I'll be getting that chance." A tinge of excitement builds in his otherwise calm voice. And as if to give credence to his 'martial artist' ways, the man is suddenly surrounded by a purple aura as he gathers his nen around his body tightly. He waits, eyeing his designated 'partner' Nova, and then he's a blurr of rapid movement. Hands in his pockets, and he's making patently superhuman leaps as if they're nothing. He only stops, occasionally running up the side of the crags and rocks to avoid the drones, in case he's leaving anyone behind. He'll make sure to use the rocks as cover when possible. "Does the Automaton have any weaknesses we can exploit?" He asks of the group at large, but mostly Lily and co.
Sumiko	Mikoto watches Lily like a hawk, as she shows off the assault rifle, and then there is a green light in her eyes.  When she takes the Assault rifle from Lily, she immediately holds it /just/ like Lily does, taking the ammo and pocketing it.  "Alright thanks, that should get me what I need," "As for the transformation...you really don't want this.  One day I might end up...well, a monster.  The price I paid for it and my wish," She says, a touch sadly.  "Anyway, less worrying about me and more /adventure/!" she says, trying to push passed the moment as she hoists the assault rifle over one shoulder and follows along.   "Right, Rei will shoot us to heal us.  Hopefully, nothing has mind control or something like that, then she'd shoot us and we'd be all confused why we got shot for real.  She pauses and then has an idea.  She swaps the assault rifle back for the jade sword and stabs the weapon into the ground.   From around her birds start taking flight and start scouting the area, trying to find out where all of the enemies are.  Thankfully, she can also keep track of all of them and act through them.  Making sure there were no nasty surprises out there that she could detect. The sword is quickly replaced with the gun again.
Rean Schwarzer	And in comes another new person, some guy with twin swords. Rean nods. "Nice to meet you. And I can handle myself, don't worry." Running around without proper armor was a bit less dangerous when you could heal yourself with Arts. "Yeah. They don't have games like this where I'm from, either...Though, from my understanding, it's not really a game anymore." He'd have to take this about as seriously as a monster hunting mission back home. Or robot hunting, in this case. Just like Chrollo, he's slightly surprised when the party invite comes up in his vision. He stares at it for a moment, and then gives the "Yes" button a poke, adding himself to Lily's party. The group passes through the the teleporter, winding up in a dusty canyon. Per Lily's instructions, he ducks behind rocks as he moves forward, keeping an eye out for the drones passing overhead. "Should I hit the the drones with a fireball or something, or do you want to just leave them alone?"
Tomoe	Tomoe repies back "Hey I miss the stopping power of my shotgun I have to admit but what are you going to do right?" Maybe Rei and Lily could make use of some of her old GGO stuff, she makes note of that. She looks to Kiritoa nd her grin gets bigger at him even more, she's not going to say a thing but he doesn't know if she might or might not bring up Kirito's GGO avatar. At least Asuna isn't here as she might very well /do so/. "Time to get ... Woah. Cool!" She watches Mikoto transform and it seems to impress her quite a bit, she snaps out of it now, she will tumb the button on the cylinder she has. It comes to life with a bright pink glow as she brings up the riot shield ready to go and she moves on ahead making ready to intercept.
Nova Terra	'Get shot and be healed.' Not the oddest thing Nova's heard. But good to know anyway. That might have made for some awkardness.     As some of the others begin to move amongst the rocks for cover, Nova takes a less tiring means of avoiding being shot. Blue light washes over her form, quickly hiding her from view until she's completely gone.     It can be presumed that the Ghost is still following the group. Plus those with the tech will receive information on her position. Those without... Well, they'll just have to go with Nova's voice over the local radio, "Yeah, some of the higher socialites in the Dominion have gaming tech like this. Never played one myself." That she remembers.
Kirito	It's at this point that Kirito reaches down into his coat and plucks the beam saber from its holster. Holding it out, he activates the weapon with an iconic *snap-hiss-whooosh* and out sprouts the purplish-white, humming beam that's almost so familiar as to be downright plagiarism. He stylishly twirls the blade about this way and that with a quick little warm-up, flourishy, dizzying kata.     "Man, I haven't used one of these in ages..." And the question is, why has he started doing so now? After all, GGO was never designed with these things in mind to be anything more than a joke. Everyone KNOWS they're just a joke, a homage to a popular movie...     Doesn't look so goofy and useless in Kirito's hands though, somehow.     "You can count on me for defense and some crowd control, unless you -want- me to go full assault on these enemies!" Which, well, being Kirito and eager for a bit of action at most times of the gaming day, is fine with him. But out of courtesy, he'd rather help Lily get the feel of things and level up.
Lily	Chrollo asks a question. "Weaknesses? Umm, I'm not sure, it's an automaton. Maybe... just shooting it a bunch or the like? Electricity maybe too..." she thinks, "I... don't actually know, I wasn't able to do much research on it." she pouts, the benefit of this party, is that it's got local radio comms! "But, keep us informed. Shoot its head a lot if you can, it works for other things, so." she laughs. Though once Mikoto speaks about not wanting it, she hmms, "Oh... well, umm... yes, Adventure!" there's a nod and she's hookshotting here and there and finally at her point. It's a safeish area.     Rean's question gets a hmm, "Well, if they become a nusiance, go ahead and nuke them, it'd be great. Crowd control is always appreciated! I'm not sure how they'll react to it but hey, keep them off me and the rest of the party and we'll nail this quest in the bag!" Rei nods, "If you need help, let me know, Rean, I'll point, you shoot."     Lily audibly smiles, "Kirito, I'd be happy if you'd go full on assault for them. I'll be sniping from my vantage point so try to keep it in one decent area. I think it has a tendency to move though so.." a pause, "Just go full on aggression on it, let's kill it, and then go back, get the rewards and I'll buy you all dinner! I know a good resturant and I can withdraw some stuff from Rei to pay for it."
Chrollo Lucilfer	Suddenly he's /not/ able to see the Ghost among them anymore. He doesn't have the tech, or a Nen ability to track the woman. He's pretty sure he didn't feel any nen, or what passes for it from offworlders. Then how? It's a mystery that's tucked away, as does the juicy tidbit he overhears about Mikoto potentially becoming a monster. He's truly found his way amongst some fascinating people. Rean mentions fireballs. An emitter, perhaps? It could be useful, even if he prefers manipulator abilities. No weaknesses aside from electricity, and he doesn't have a stolen hatsu for that. After a moment, he pipes up. "In that case, there's no point in hiding. Cover me, please." Offers the man to the group over the comms, before he moves up to stay near the more aggressive member of the party, Kirito. He's still being relatively stealthy, sticking to cover, but avoiding drones less. Chrollo is trying to make his way towards the Automaton, nen covering one of his hands, ready to try to ambush the robot. He's waiting to strike alongside the other melee artists though.
Tomoe	Tomoe takes note Kirito has hung on to his beam sabre too and she can't help but grin as she forms up with Kirito. "Only you could figure out how to turn a joke weapon into something nasty." Then again she also had a sword bayonet too herself. "I'll do what I can to draw fire I doubt they are expecting melee combat." Only SAO survivors would bring swords to a gunfight. "So learning a fight blind just like old times, Kirito." She notes and with that, it seems she's intending to go in full bore as well. "Oh you are offering food? That sounds like pretty good motivation to me." After her partying with Raha last night you think she'd be. She is awareNova is likely going to cloak and use many of the tactics she did against her in the tournament she knows what Kirito can do without thinking? Lily and Rei? She's got a rough idea of but Rean and Chrollo, and Mikoto she does not know or does not know well enough to guess how they fight. Today would be a good learning experience for that. Tomoe meanwhile preps several of her tank buffs to fire them off the moment the spot and engage their prey. "Ready, I'll go full in and try to keep as much fire off the rest of you as I can."
Sumiko	Mikoto continues to keep the birds out, scouting and trying to not only find the boss, check out what is near it, and also make sure they're not snuck upon.  Her eyes flicker back to the group for a moment, looking around, and then she looks distant again. Rean has seen this before, she's obviously looking in two places at once, focusing here for a second, and then back.  It's probably taking all of her concentration to split it so many directions.
Lily	Once everyone's in position, the mob shows up in a spawning in animation and it's with two other automatons, half the size of that huge automaton.... The phantasmal birds find it first, then Lily, then the rest of the group. Lv 10 Elite Automaton [||||||||||||||||||||] [||||||||||||||||||||] [||||||||||||||||||||]     "There we go. It's there." she calls out on the comms, set up on the roof of a building. "Two Shield Automatons are next to it. There's a few Assault Drones flying around too so this can get messy quick. Let's assault it, kill them and then get it over with." Lily looks through her scope and readies up... there's a quick trigger pull and a shot rings out... damaging the Elite Automaton and beginning the quest! Suddenly, Bullet Lines are drawn towards Lily's position... "Oh crap." and the sniper's on the move! "MOVE, MOVE MOVE!"
Nova Terra	Nova calmly watches from the protection of her cloak as the battle starts up. Normally Nova doesn't like fighting robots, cause it makes it harder to pick up on where they are aiming when Nova can't read their minds. But these machines. They appear to be so considerate as to display their aim for you! That should make things easy!     Nova reappears as her cloak disengages. She reaches a hand out in the direction of one of those so-called Shield Automatons. If their name is any indication, they could be annoying. Nova attempts to grip the drone with her mind and send it crashing off course into its fellow. Though Nova doesn't know how solidly they're built so it may not do much damage. But on the bright side, it should throw off their aim for a bit!
Sumiko	Mikoto starts moving, trying to keep pace with Lily and the rest, and she does a good job of that.  Especially as she starts trailing a blue line of SPEED and starts zipping around the battlefield at /sonic/ speeds.  That is the most useful power she has ever picked up.   Her rifle comes up over her shoulder as she releases a barrage of shots with good accuracy towards one of the side drones.  The less back up this thing has the better.  She aims to try and gun it down as quickly as possible, before moving again rapidly, trying to keep the bullet lines off of her as much as possible. The birds, however, all descend.  They attempt to go for the eyes of the automation, trying to distract, peck at, and otherwise be a general distraction.
Tomoe	Tomoe takes note of the Automaton the thing is a very basic looking drone, once she'd have said it was kinda silly looking but it does look like other automate weapon she's aware of and now more think the designs were on to something. Either way, she heeds Lily call out over the comm. She notes the adds, and will start popping her taunts, and cool down as she attempts to get the assaulting machines to focus fire on her, or maybe even interrupt their attacks on her allies. "Someone needs to get the snipers!" She shouts as she dashes full speed for the main pack of the Automatons. "If someone could circle about from behind while the rest of us keep them busy that would be great!" She will the moment she gets in rage put her beam sabre to use on the machines as well even if the shielder units keep her intercept that keeps them from helping the main target as much.
Kirito	"Did she just CLOAK?" Kirito's of course familiar with the4 idea of a cloaking field, but he sure hasn't seen one up close until Nova's stunt. He has no idea where she went and that's slightly worrisome. He'll have to trust she's truly friendly...     The problem with spontaneous parties that aren't happening inside the game is it's -really- hard to know who's trustworthy...     "Oh, so you want me to cut loose for real? Alright then." Kirito's grimmer attitude is evaporating as the operation gets under way and Lily's proving to be far from the clumsy newbie he expected. Unusually more confident and sure of herself than he'd have guessed any newbie would EVER be! Perhaps she knows how to take care of herself...     It's not as if he's going to just gleefully attack without keeping an eye on the situation, but a fire alights in Kirito's eyes. The thrill of combat coming to meet him.     A quartet of thin, translucent black fairy wings emerge from his back and oscillate up to speed, carrying him aloft in no time. He zigs and zags with insect-like agility as he rises and gets a bead on the distant Automaton and its 'friends.'     He wastes no time tossing a mere ROCK at the distant Assault Drone, his Blade Throwing skill causing it to be propelled to insane speeds and strike dead-on for a whopping... 1 DAMAGE!     It's piddly, but it's enough that the drone turns around and focuses its aggro on the airborne Spriggan. So far so good, right?     The young man inhales a deep preparatory breath and banishes all extraneous thought, gaze laser-focusing down on the enemy in the distance. In no time at all the drone raises its weapons at him. A half-dozen bullet lines spear through his vision, painting his body all over the place. With expert timing though, the youth simply twists his body around, spinning sleekly and swerving to the side. The bullets all fly past harmlessly!     The drone tries again in a couple of seconds. Again Kirito faces down a hoard of bullet lines as he's closing in...     And this time, his eyes narrow. His brain burns with intense concentration. He grips that beam saber's hilt tightly...     Though the feat exacts a mighty toll of willpower and concentration... he swivels that blade back and forth in a dizzying and dazzling dance of purplish-pinkish blazing light. SPANG-HISS go the bullets in rapid sequence as the blade twists about this way and that to intercept them, never mind that they're automatic BURST FIRE and super close together. Six bullets are intercepted, and two that were never going to hit in the first place are left alone.     "GOT YOU!" As this all takes place during a daring DEATH DIVE, this now leaves Kirito free to cut his thrust and tuck his legs forward so he SLAMS into the drone with a reverse grip on his blade, aiming to impale the beam saber deep into the thing's metal interior, then KICK off it into a sailing backflip that brings him landing like a nimble cat right in the thick of things, his wings disintegrating into motes of light.
Chrollo Lucilfer	There's more than /just/ the Automaton they're here to kill, but Chrollo expected that much after the assault drones in the air. Lily helpfully kicks things off, and draws all sorts of attention in the form of Bullet Lines! For a second he thinks they're laser sights. Too strange to be. He decides it doesn't matter. Chrollo has no desire to be near whatever is about to be shot at the moving sniper. He keeps his nen as tight as possible, making an erratic approach to the massive main automaton as the others assault the shields and drones. Seems he's aiming for one of the thing's legs! But there's Bullet LInes to worry about, and his path can't be quite so direct. Chrollo's gaze sweeps the lines that first end on his chest and legs, and he quickly realizes the danger. He bends down mid-run, waits for a second, and then he /springs/ to the side in a flash. Kicking forward, he plays a neat game of simply outrunning the lines, keeping low and fast. He's poetry in motion to an inhuman degree. He never hesitates, and the single blast that actually manages to hit him? That strange purple aura seems to aborb any last damage. His coat is missing some of the fluff on his cuff though, singed and blackened. "I won't be able to take too many direct shots from that thing." Oh, how he wishes he had the Fun Fun cloth still. Then, relatively safe, he rushes the Elite Automaton. It's a quick move, nen soon spiking in his right leg as he aims a quick, hard kick with superhuman precision and strength! He's pretty much trying to shatter whatever equivalent of a kneecap the robot has, or at least hurt it enough so that it can't move so well! It's a strike hard enough to leave the ground, or metal, shattered! Mikoto's SONIC SPEED gets a glance. Oh, /how/ he wants that Ability. The girl, with her birds and swiftness, piques his curiousity more and more. Nova's grip with her mind catches his attention. He doesn't know what might be causing robots to potentially fall down though, presuming his allies must have some sort of Hatsu-like ability. He considers piping up, but he waits to see more.
Rean Schwarzer	Nova disappears, and while Rean can still sense her, she's completely hidden from view. Some sort of invisibility power? Or some technological thing? Mikoto seems distracted, and it's kind of strange how she seemed to be not...there, mentally every couple of seconds. He keeps an eye out in case something tries to hit her, but they make it to the robot just fine, Suddenly these red lines all zip straight in Lily's direction. They were taking aim. Rean makes good on the fireball comment and ducks behind a rock, blue casting ring surrounding him for a moment, before sending a fireball flying at the nearest sniper drone. He then nods at Tomoe and gets into range of the main unit, one hand on his sword's hilt as he rushes forward.  Rean swiftly unsheathes his sword as he passes by, creating a series of slashes.
Lily	One of the Assault Drones aiming for Lily gets pinged by a rock. The damage is done, and it swivels towards Kirito, the bullet lines coming back towards his direction before starting to fire rapid fire bullets towards him, trying to gun down the fairy-winged teen... it tries a couple of times but with bullets being knocked away. It stops firing once Kirito gets close enough from above, the beam saber impales the assault drone and it detonates... a simple drone couldn't stand up to that. The drone derezzes and soon, another one just takes aim at Kirito,attempting to avenge it's fallen brethren or something to that nature.     Nova's cloak disengaging gets the attention of one of the shield drones a bit too late, the grip upon it... and it soon gains a status effect, a little swirl icon near its name and it stumbles a bit... there's some beeping and it starts firing wildly, the bullet lines going everywhich way... and even striking some of its 'allies', the Elite Automaton taking some damage from that too! It takes only a moment before it soon regains its senses and starts to bring up an energy shield, moving towards the Elite Automaton... a defensive routine?     Mikoto's speed is very useful here, the bullets fire and she's not even close to where the bullet is, dust instead of magical girl blood on the ground. The other shield drone's peppered with shots from the 'confused' drone and distracted by the birds pecking at it before it, too, brings up a defensive shield, trying to shield itself and the Elite Automaton from further damage! The benefit is, it's not shooting right now! Though both Mikoto and Nova get swung at with those shields in an attempt to get them away from the drones!     Tomoe's taunting grabs the Elite Automaton and it starts it's own assault upon her, bullet lines canvasing her body before bullets ring out! The beam saber makes good cuts into the Elite Automaton, the HP Bar visibly going down from her assault, while Rei makes pot shots with the Pistol, aiming for the head, the shots doing a bit more damage from the headshots ringing out!     Rean's fireball zips towards that last assault drone that's flying, the flames igniting it, making a good damage over time effect on it as it turns to start firing towards the swordsman, especially after he abandons cover! The good thing is, those slashes from the sword do find purchase on the Elite Automaton and its HP bar continues to fall with each attack dealt to it... along with Chrollo's own ken-powered kick makes a massive dent in the Elite Automaton's leg, almost shattering it but it's not moving anywhere any time soon.. Lily's a second thought as it starts to let loose with some wild machine gun shots!     With the heat down from Lily, she gets a moment to breathe, "Maybe I should have waited!" she mutters over the radio as she lines up another shot, this time from the top of a water-tower on top of a building near the Automaton... a bang and another headshot as she reloads it!
Lily	A cursory glance at the boss's own HP bars shows the following: Lv 10 Elite Automaton [||||||||||||||||||||] [||||||||||||||||||||] [|||||               ]
Sumiko	Mikoto counters shield bash with hitting the shield with the butt of her rifle.  This throws her back some, allowing her to get some distance before considering the shield drone.  Her eyes dart around the battlefield, trying to figure out where to hit up next.   The birds disappear before she comes back down.  Switching gun for sword again, she thrusts the blade deep in the earth and from underneath the shield drone she was trying to destroy the massive jaws of a very LARGE crocodile snap up, as the large creature attempts to do the one thing that shield users are the worst at. Grapple bite attacks. Hopefully, this will keep the shield drone unavailable from helping the big boy.  Well, now that is over, she swaps sword and gun again and takes some potshots at the boss.  Bang bang bang bang!
Tomoe	Tomoe makes note of Rean's actions glad for the help and she'll keep up at at the Elite Automaton it sem she got the boss' attention. As the rounds fly she'll use her shield to intercept and help lessen the hits but she'd damn well-taking hits. Also, headshots are a concern she's well aware of. She hopes her comrades can do that to the bots before they do it to someone. Rei's timing is solid as she follows up on Tomoe's own actions. She will launch into several sword combos now rapidly striking but hse's also taken some major hits in exchange she's okay with this as much as she feels the hit her hp bar has dropped and he keeps going pressing in she'll add in a shield slam to her attack. "Come on your mother was programmed in Javascript!" She calls out as Mikoto is making use of her own powers to keep one of the adds off the main boss and she's darn thankful for that. "Oi Kirito stop playing around and go blender!"
Kirito	With the Assault Drone exploding spectacularly, Kirito can't help but feel that his deep stance wouldn't look out of place in some kind of anime shot - a thought that's both amusing and a little depressing. He's not the best fit for a main character, right?     Yeah, no.     Still, the Black Swordsman rises to his feet now that he's in range, flicking off the beam saber and stashing it... then drawing his black and crystal-blue straight swords with a dramatic rasp. Right as the next machine takes aim, he DIVES into action and ducks low, clearing the distance in no time at all while bullets whizz by just overhead. He skids to a halt in front of the machine into a perfectly positioned stance with his black blade held out to one side and twisted. The weapon howls with a white-blue frosty light, and with a determined kiai the black-clad warrior brings it around with blinding speed to slash deep into the creature and carve a series of cuts into it that trail stupidly-huge exploding ice fragments!
Chrollo Lucilfer	With the leg seemingly out of comission, and those Shield Drones closing in? Chrollo feels awfully exposed. He hates taking on multiple opponents at once. He much prefers a nice, safe ability, his Troupe, and maybe a few controlled minions at hand. Which it seems Mikoto has covered. He smiles upon seeing her summon that massive crocodile. It's an amazing ability. What a useful battle tactic! He's somewhat on his own right now though, as the others keep fighting. The Troupe Leader calmly steps away from the Automaton lest he attract a raging fist, quickly weaving and ducking between Bullet Lines that target him. Every shot seems to miss him by the merest amount, as if he were playing some kind of bullet hell. His aura remains disturbingly calm despite all the fire that's trying to take him out. The man anticipates it. Appreciates the danger. After a few near-hits on his person, he's circling around the Elite Automaton, then he makes a leap into the air! A foot goes up, as if he's trying to kick the thing in the back! It's not a kick though, as he clings to the back of the thing with his aura, his speed giving him the momentum. No, instead, he draws a knife from his coat and slashes at the robot as he runs up it, trying to carve a welt as he does so with nen-reinforced strength!
Nova Terra	Things aren't going that badly so far. They're doing a good job of taking on the support drones while keeping the main one distracted. Yes, better to take out the small fry before focusing on the big bad. Speaking of...     "A shield." Nova removes the magazine from her rifle, sliding it into a small compartment on her suit. She produces a new one from the same place, glancing at it briefly. The bullets seen within have a glow to their tips. Nova slides the new magazine into the rifle.     Chambering the new round and letting the old unfired one clunk to the ground, Nova raises the rifle to aim down the scope. She sights in on the Shield Automaton trying to protect its boss with that glowing field, "It's always shields."     Nova begins to pull the trigger repeatedly, the large canister rifle barking out the new 25mm EMP rounds. The bullets streak through the air with a trail of light, creating small bursts of energy on impact as Nova attempts to wear down the shield and take out the drone.
Rean Schwarzer	Good news- The drones weren't firing at Lily anymore! Bad news- The one Rean set on fire was shooting at him now. He's running quickly enough that most of the shots miss, though one of them grazes his shoulder, leaving a scorch mark and a tiny bit of blood on his shirt. He winces, but keeps going. He skids to a stop the minute the thing stops firing for a moment, quickly sheathing and unsheathing his sword and creating a small shock wave aimed at the thing.
Lily	There's no one around but the enemies and Lily's party...and now a Croc that's grappling the Shield Automaton. With the Birds dissapearing, the large automaton starts trying to bash the croc with its shield, using its own assault rifle to try and put bullet holes through the grappling creature so it can get back to doing what it does best, trying to protect the Elite Automaton from damage.... that Mikoto's currently putting some well placed shots into, like she was an expert at it!     Tomoe's keeping the Elite Automaton trying to smash into her and take shots at, but the shield slam stuns the automaton for a good moment allowing some definite hits to be given to the automaton, the HP Bar rapidly depleting before the first bar actually dissapears all together, leaving two fresh bars left for the taking! That continue to go down as Chrollo's own knife strikes makes quite a few good slashes in to the Automaton's strange chassis. It feels like steel but gives way like it's a bit softer!     Kirito's assault upon the next aggroing drone does quite a good number on it, the ice shards and sword strikes create a nice julienned automaton that explodes once more under the over-leveled teen's blades! Lily's watching along through her scope and her jaw drops... meanwhile, Rei points her pistol at Tomoe and letting out shots of blue-colored bullets that, upon hit, refill Tomoe's own hit points, keeping her up and going while she tanks the boss!     Nova's shot rings out and it hits the shield and bounces off into the air, the reflect hitting another drone not even related to the fight, a nice detonation is heard too. Another shot and the shield wobbles before a third detonates the shield and the fourth nails the Shield Automaton right in the head, its own HP Bar just depelting more than three quarters of the way from that strike.     Rean's own drone problem keeps droning on and on, the burning drone continuing to try to take potshots, at least until Rean's shockwave rapidly approaches the drone, and with that well placed strike that was just the thing that was needed to make the drone explode upon impact, detonating it and removing it from the constant pressure upon the party members! Rean also gets a few healing shots from Rei's Cure Bullet too! Gotta top off the DPS too!
Lily	A cursory glance at the boss's own HP bars shows the following: Lv 10 Elite Automaton [||||||||||||||||||||] [|||||||||||||       ] [                    ]
Sumiko	The Croc takes several shots to the head and chest.  However, both because of the thick leather skin and boney underneath it's not dead.  It's /hurting/ but it's not dead.  Roaring in pain, it rushes the Shield drone again, once more attempting to snap its powerful jaws on the shield... This time it /spins/ trying to tear the shield off of the drone.  Or just take it for a spin!  Look at that beaut!  Just rolling in a death roll to try and disarm it's prey. Mikoto, on the other hand, continues running around the boss, zipping around with her stolen SONIC SPEED, and shooting it with her STOLEN GUN TRAINING.  Mikoto is possibly the best thief in the room right now.  She is also shooting the boss repeatedly, with bullets.  From a gun. I don't know what else you need me to tell you.
Tomoe	The fight is well underway at this point. She's keeping the Elite Automaton and it moves to try and smash her but she's able to interrupt it's attack with a shield slam she wants to finish this thing and finish it hard. Kirito's hammering away at it and Rei is making use of healing bullets? That's up there with healing shivs but she won't be complaining about this. The healing shots do help quite a bit when all is said an done. "We need to burn this thing down." Then comes an idea Tomoe will attempt o drive the blade into the robot's frame then flare out her ruby red wing ad fly straight up hoping to carve the heck out of the machine as she does so. Even if this doesn't work when she reaches the apex? That's when the lighting bolt comes as she chains a spell into the attack just suspecting these machines follow game logic and no one knows what a surge protector is.
Nova Terra	Nova breaks through the drone's shield and puts a bullet into its 'head'. Hah, take that. Stupid shields.     The support drones are being whittled down, though not completely gone yet. And in the process they've managed to take a good chunk off the main target's health bar too. A health bar... What an odd concept. Nova tries to imagine the Zerg and Protoss she's fought in the past having health bars... Weird.     Wait. Better focus on the fight. Time to try and finish off the little ones and put the hurt on the big one at the same time.     "Grenade."     That's the only warning the others get when Nova pulls a spherical grenade from a small compartment on her arm. She arms the device which starts flashing. Nova throws it.     The pulse grenade arcs through the air, bounces aross the ground before rolling to a stop amidst the group of drones. It then unleashes an explosive blast of energy, trying to obliterate or at the very least partially melt the robots.
Chrollo Lucilfer	With all the fire pouring in, from allies and enemies alike, Chrollo isn't about to stay on the thing's back! At least he now know a knife works pretty well against it's possibly-digital metal. So he does a neat backflip off of the Elite Automaton's back, and lands lightly. Almost instantly he's dodging away from fresh Bullet Lines targeting him. Luckily with so much damage being done, there's far less to dodge. Only a few more stray shots pepper his coat, one grazing his cheek, before he's finally able to get a nice, clear path back towards the boss! His target is a little more direct than gashing or debilitating. Spinning the curved, sharp-pointed knife in his hand, he bends both knees and /launches/ himself at the great Automaton boss! A second hand joins the hilt of his small blade, nen focusing at the point of it! The man simply seeks to plunge knife and hand directly into whatever passes for a robotic heart that the thing has! And then, should he hit, violently tear it out! "Keep up the pressure. It's weakening." He encourages to the others calmly, amidst the violence and chaos. He is also quite sure to be /far/ away when Nova mentions a grenade.
Rean Schwarzer	And the drone is down! Rei also shoots him a few times with healing bullets, patching up whatever wounds he's got. Then Nova says something about a Grenade, which means that he /probably/ should get away from the remaining shield robots. He instead focuses on reaching the Elite Automaton, dealing a few quick strikes to its side as the others continued wailing on it. Isn't teamwork great?
Kirito	These enemies.. are simply too weak. However many appear, Kirito's probably going to one shot these minions with simple sword skills. His fighting's polished and tempered - it's not just a matter of having great gear and high stats. There's a spectacular amount of footwork involved as he steps this way and that, always maintaining balance and a guard as he maneuvers around the enemies and predicts their moves ahead of time, then dives in for a rapid series of slashes targeting joints and weapons and any possible structural weaknesses he can spot.     Anyone can get to high level from grinding enough, but going beyond the bounds of stats and puishing them for all they're worth requires this kind of polish.
Lily	The croc's still alive and that death roll given by the predator does try to rip the shield off the drone.... and the arm... and some internal circutiry... and an explosion.     Wait, death roll made an explosion?! The Shield Drone detonate's from the Croc's thrashing, a pile of scrap upon the ground before dissapearing in voxels, dropping some sort of item box down on the ground to be picked up later... or now depending on her speed. The bullets continue to smash right into the main boss, chipping out that HP with abandon.     Tomoe's own little comment spurs on Lily and Rei, making unscoped and unaimed shots to help burn down the boss while that sword gets pluged deep into the robot's frame and the flight up makes a nice carving motion, the HP dropping quickkly and with the chained lightning bolt, the bar just fully depletes, shocking it into submission!     Nova's grenade bounces... then bounces... then rolls and the finally detonates and melt the robots it does, specifically the one that Nova made a 'headshot' on, it's HP depletes quickly... then dissapears leaving behind another item box for later, what's inside, who knows! Meanwhile, the damage from the grenade takes off a decent chunk of the boss's health bar, roughly a few quarters left of the bar!     Chrollo's own little maneuver, the small blade digs straight into the chassis of the Elite Automaton... and while it doesn't find a heart, it does find a good chunk of circutry that gets violently ripped out: wires, chips, circuit boards, oils and maybe even retaliatory sparks shoot back from the eviscerating strike, and it's reflected as the bar goes down and down and down     Rean's own strikes on the Automaton help disable the boss, finalizing the debilitating strike Chrollo did upon the leg... well, at this point, there was no leg, just a stump of scrap metal rooting the boss in place for the last bit of setup. About a third of its HP remains!     Kirito's own fancy footwork and strikes finalize the debilitation upon the Elite Automaton, no more legs, the guns finally run out of ammo... or detonate... removing the arms.... there's only a third of the HP left... and all this allows Lily to line up one more shot, it rings out, strikes the head and finishes off the final HP bar, before it detonates in a non-player damaging explosion... and leaves behind a red box!     QUEST COMPLETE!
Nova Terra	The robots vanish after they've destroyed. And then proceed to drop some boxes...     OK. Still not the weirdist thing Nova's seen.     Nova shifts her rifle to rest on her shoulder as she walks up to the location where the Elite Automaton had been defeated. She looks at the spot. Then looks at the others, "I guess that's mission complete? No need to provide proof of the kill?" Yeah. That doesn't sound questionable.     Nova turns her head in Lily's direction and says, "Nice sniping, by the way." Nova would know.
